The you'll get another episode a week from Saturday because unfortunately, Man, I hate this. I hate this week every year when it comes around Ms. Barbara Blunt's murder. Versaries. Coming up this Saturday, I'm going to be releasing an episode about Ms. Barbara. And we need your tips. 313RLRC tip now on all the cases, all of them. Even though I'm not actively in burning parish or actually talking to the people who wish I was talking to him, I still want hashtag justice for Bradley and hashtag justice for ao. And of course, we are going to put together the package with you with our attorney, Thomas Davenport, who donated these three wonderful items. And they are all laser and get laser engraved with RLRC on them and this good stuff. And so we got. We're still in the works of putting that together to get the money to finish off the evidence room for in. In Scott Rotters testing for hashtag justice for Haley. So enough about me. Enough about that. Y' all hang in there. Other live show, July 18th. You better get your tickets because they're going to sell out and it's going to be a badass show. I promise you that. I'm going to be lifers in from all over the United States. If you've been to one of them before, you already know, right? If you haven't, you should experience. It's going to be something special. And it's a whole weekend, y'. All. It's not just, you know, one the four hours of a show and. And meet and greet and all that. All right, so let's get on to what happened on this day, May the first in 2010, Shanna Gilbert called 911 and was on the phone for 22 minutes, y', all, with 91 1. She knocked on several doors in the neighborhood, which got other people to call 91 1. Right. So this is a fluid, active, recorded situation. While police were searching for Gilbert, they discovered four remains that were covered in burlap. Six more bodies were also discovered during the investigation, confirming the existence of a serial killer in Long island. And that the. We all know that he's now been caught. Right? So there you have it. But that's. I guess this is the day since 10, 10, 16 years ago to get some justice. Never give up, people. Never ever give up Never surrender. And geez Louise, Ms. Barbara's case. That. All the cases are horrible. Right? So. All right, let me tell you about. And I guess, you know, boyfriend, girlfriend, you living together, it could still be. It's time for family matters. Yeah. Yeah. There's a lot of different ways for domestic violence. You could put your hands on somebody, you can throw a pot of hot coffee on them. You be living around a bobbin and cut their dick off, you can kill them. Let's stick in a throwing category. I'm trying to think if I've ever been so mad that I thrown something. I've never thrown something at a female directly. I may have slung something across the room once or twice. The. But I never slung this. And we're going to New York. Wait till you hear this. And a woman in New York is facing up to 25 years behind bars because she got her ass convicted for hurling a stick of dynamite at her boyfriend while he was asleep. Yeah. So, you know, like I told you, while plenty of couples get into arguments, Kiana Waddell, who was 35, took things to a dangerously extreme level when she threw the deadly explosive device. Now, Wadell was convicted following a jury trial on charges of assault in the first degree in criminal possession of a weapon in the first degree. And this according to the Suffo County District Attorney, Raymond A. Tierney. So a statement from the DA's office revealed that the attack took place on March 22, 2024, in Suffolk County, New York, after Waddell and her partner, they got a little spit to spat, you know, a little verbal kung fu, as Tommy Davenport would say, not karate, kung fu. And the. They got in a fight. And. And I have done this. I've been so mad that I've left before because I wanted to diffuse the situation. So they. They were fighting, and the. He. He leaves, right? The. And then Waddell's like it. He left. I'm gonna leave, too. So they both leave. Well, the. You know, the one thing about that is, like, when you're living together with somebody, especially when you're married, is you can get mad as you want to, but sooner or later come home, right? And that happened. The victim comes home and he didn't see his Waddell, his significant other. He's like, I'm tired. I'm going to sleep. So he went to bed, tucked in, probably said his prayers, gave us a teddy bear, a hug and a kiss, and then he drifted off in the la La land. And. But he. Maybe he's a light sleeper. Like me, they could have said he was jolted awake by a hissing noise. And he looks around for the noise and what does he see? A flame on his bedroom floor. Well, I'm pretty sure he got the up right. Who wouldn't? And you're still not fully awake yet. But he jumps up, looks at the flame, and guess what? It's a stick, a dynamite that had been thrown at him. Now what do you do? Fight, flight or freeze. I'm pretty sure if it stick to dynamite, I'm running the. I wouldn't hang around. It could just blow up the hell up. The. I say that I was bowling peanuts last year, and I know what my jet regulator sounds like on the propane bottle. And I went inside and I noticed the sound had changed. And I could still hear it running, but it wasn't is loud. And I look out the door and my damn hose had melted off the propane tank. And it was on fire. It was whipping around. And I ran out there like the genius that I am, and I was like, oh, I could put it out. And then I just turned the bottle off. Pretty stupid because basically, that's dynamite with the flame on the end of it. But this dude, he. He had. He. He decided to fight. And he tried to put out the. The stick of dynamite, but it was unsuccessful. And then at putting it out. So then he grabs it and he attempts to throw it outside. Right? Whoever else is outside New York, you're. I'm throwing this dynamite out of my house. But before he could reach the exit, the explosive went off in his hand. And guess what? It's a stick of dynamite, y'. All. It's not a firecracker. Firecracker, Burn your ass. A stick of dynamite at the very least. And it must have been a small stick. It blew his hand off. Blew it off. Can you imagine? You wake up, first of all, there's dynamite on your floor. You can't put it out. You throw it out to one of them. Boom. He's lucky that it blows his whole body apart. Well, and he shit's blown up, hands blown off. So he runs out of his house into the end of the driveway. And guess what? He saw his girlfriend, Waddell. And she. He ran like a little right on foot. And it's like, damn it. Okay, I guess she thought the whole house. Where the do you get dynamite from? But anyway, she. She runs in. Court documents say that the victim was taken by police to Nassau University University Medical center, where the remainder of his hand and a portion of his arm Was amputated. Like, I'm pretty sure we're not putting your back together, buddy. It's been blown up by dynamite. So they do the investigation, and they discover that Waddell had repeatedly threatened the victim with the dynamite in multiple times in the month for the incident. Now, I don't know how long they've been together, but I'm pretty sure if threatens you with dynamite, and she must. She must have some access to dynamite at some point. Maybe that's what they were arguing about that night. I don't know. But I damn sure if you threatened me numerous times. Dynamite, I don't think you could. You did more than once. I'm probably just gonna leave, so. But the white devil's taken the custody on March 23rd of 2024. And they said domestic violence can escalate to deadly levels. And this case is a sobering reminder of that reality. According to District Attorney Tyranny, thanks to the outstanding work of our prosecutors and the Suffolk County Police Department, a dangerous individual has been held accountable and will face a lengthy prison sentence for this horrific act. On April 24, 2026. I can't believe this went to trial. What are you. You think you're not going to get found guilty? But anyway, following her jury trial, which was presided over by Supreme Court Justice Richard Howitz, Waddell was found guilty of assault in the first degree, which is a class B violent felony, and criminal possession of a weapon in the first grade, which is also a class B violent felony. And she is scheduled to return to court for sentencing on May 27, 2026, where she faces up to 25 years behind bars. The. You know, I don't really think. I know I'm a hard ass. I don't really think. 25 years for blowing a motherfucker's hands and arm off, which you. You had the intent to kill him. That's obvious, right? You don't know what the stick of dynamite is going to do or not do, but you had the intent to kill him. I don't think 25 years is enough. The. And I can promise you that's the first case I ever heard about somebody throwing dynamite. Ooh wee. Exactly why I tell you to never give up, never surrender. Start blowing an air horn. When I read these stories. So we are going to tell you. I'm going to tell you about another cold case that's been solved, and I love it, love it, love it. I don't know why I love cold cases so much. I just hate the idea of sitting around all the Christmases and holidays and everything that they get to experience while their victims are dead. Right? And the families are left wondering. So a 64 year old man was arrested last week in connection to a decades old murder investigation that had long haunted the rich area in Sacramento where it occurred. You know, I've spent a lot of years investigating some of the darkest cases out there and seeing things most people couldn't imagine. But I tell you this, the hardest thing I've ever had to deal with wasn't out on the scene. It was happening in my own mind. I have ocd. And for a long time I didn't even realize that's what it was. 25th of November in 1991 was 21 years old. Cindy Winner, who was 35, banished from her sister's home in Granite Bay, California. Well, her husband arrived to residence with their 4 year old daughter and found their 11 month old baby alone and crying and strapped in a high chair. I'm pretty sure you already know bad shits went down, right? Three weeks later, Winter's body was discovered 40 miles away in a secluded wooded area. She had died from strangulation, meaning somebody choked her to death. Still, the most intimate form of killing there is. They said arguably this is one of the most heinous, notorious cold cases we have. This according to Wayne Wu, who's the Place county sheriff. And he just did a big I should play this. You know what? I'm gonna play this for y'. All.

Investigators say a 69 year old man who escaped to the Philippines is responsible for the 1989 abduction and sexual battery of a young girl. FOX 13's Jennifer Vaguelist joins us live from the newsroom after digging into the case all evening. And Jennifer, how were investigators able to connect the suspect to the crime? Haley According to the Bureau of Immigration, which works with both the US Department of Justice and the Philippine government, it was genealogical research and preserved DNA evidence from the case that led detectives to young Tom Talmage. It was a case jarring Hillsborough county in 1989, spanning two popular bowling alleys, the abduction and sexual battery of a seven year old girl. At the time, investigators said a man approached the girl at Tampa Lanes on Northdale Mabry that's since closed down and gave her coins to play arcade games, then lured her to his car, raped her, then dropped her off at another bowling alley while customers at Tampa Lanes frantically searched for her, including the manager.

The whole place just kind of came to a null, just stopped. Bowlers went outside. They went outside to the restaurant and people from the restaurant came outside and looked.
News Reporter
A man at the second bowling alley immediately recognized her.

When I saw the girl, I said to myself, instincts. She said that this was the poor kid.

For nearly four decades, the perpetrator went undetected until last month when the Hillsborough county state Attorney's office issued a warrant for young Tom Talmadge, who has been living in the city of Cavite in the Philippines. Thursday, the Bureau of Immigration's Fugitive Search unit arrested him. The bureau says it's all part of its Shield Kids campaign to prevent the Philippines from becoming a safe haven for child predators. We can say yes, he evaded, you know, legal consequences for so long. What I am more positively impressed is with the fact that the local law enforcement did not let it go. Renata Castro, immigration attorney at USA for all, says more importantly, it's a about bringing closure to the victims. Around the time of the seven year old's abduction, another with a three year old girl from a Pasco county gas station was also reported. We asked the Pasco County Sheriff's office if Talmage is linked to this case too, but we have not heard back. Now the state attorney's office in Hillsborough county says Tallmadge is not yet back from back in the United States. We asked the Hillsborough County Sheriff's office when he will be brought back and where but we have not heard back. Guys, we know you stay on top of it. Jennifer Vaguely is reporting tonight. Jennifer,

This is really a twofer because I was in the middle of the story and I'm gonna complete that story now. But the and I saw this video on there and I thought well I thought it was the same case but obviously white. But that's a good story too. The now I'm going to finish this case. This I mean those little girls getting raped and a punk ass pedophile going to the Philippines. That's a good good. He can't rape any more babies, right? So back to it. Cindy Warner is missing now y'. All her husband gets home 11 month old baby strapped in a high chair crying and three weeks later one of his body was discovered. Oh you know what I'm telling you what they're trying to trick me because the damn sure shows us this video but I'm like I'm not going to play the attempt to play it again. So three weeks later Warner's body was discovered 40 miles away in a secluded woody wooded area and she had been choked to death. The the sheriff I told you Mr. Mr. Wu. Sheriff Wu said it's the most heinous notorious cold case we have and he's doing a press conference. He's got had a big picture of Ms. Winer is a Wu identified the murder suspect as James Lawhead. He said we hope this arrest will bring some justice and closure to Cindy Winer's family. Investigators had linked Lawhead to the crime scene via forensic DNA analysis. I love it. I remember when it first came out and it just gets better every day. Law had been had been convicted of sex crimes and sentenced to in 1980 to a 19 year term after serving 11 years. 11 years for sex crimes. 11 of 19. He was released in February of 1991. They said it's unclear but let's hit his early release. I can tell you did a bunch of liberal people that never been right or had their kids right. But it said when he was sentenced psychiatrists from the state classified him as mentally disordered sex offender who was not amenable to treatment yet that means he's always going to do it but they let him out yet he was still released after 11 years and kidnapped and murdered Cindy Weiner within a year of his release. Law had ran afoul of the law a few times and including an arrest for failing to register as a sex offender in Placer County. And he had been virtually unseen since 2005 and law enforcement believed he was living under a new identity, living as Vincent Reynolds. That's not a shocker. Investigators have been searching for Lawhead, according to sheriff and were on the verge of enlisting the public's help. But they didn't have to because by fortuitous lead came in recently after an analyst with the Scottsdale Police Department used the state's transportation data to get a photo match of Lawhead. He was arrested on 24 April in the driveway of his Arizona home and they got a search warrant. Authorities seized several items from his home, including a bag that contained $15,000 cash and a burner phone. Right, that's your whole ass bag. Lawhead is facing murder and kidnapping charges amongst other things. Now his sister Terry Lawhead has also been taken into custody on an accessory charge. Quotations she said she hadn't seen or heard for her brother in over 20 years and that he may have possibly been dead. According to sheriff Investigators later found out that the home that Mr. Law had been residing in in Arizona was owned by the same stupid she's now going to jail of course the sheriff and that's not verbatim but in recent years there have been several high profile breakthroughs in cold cases due to the help of modern technology. They said justice just became the passage of time. That doesn't mean justice diminishes in importance. That's according to the Morgan guy or the place of county DA in the I totally agree. Double up clap for those stories. Freaking amazing. Two great ones in a row. You know I get tired of the telling about kid rapes and you know husbands killing wives and I like to tell good stories like that. All right this next one some some want a good story made you y' all know unlike a real hard ass about the death penalty and but what you don't know since I got a law enforcement in 2013 all my time except for podcasts has been dedicated to getting innocent people off and you know the podcast being separate with working the cold cases but the if you're innocent and I've helped several innocent people fight their cases I don't believe I hate the thought of an innocent person sitting in jail but I also think after 30 years of sitting on death row and all the appeals process they've wasted every avenue of you're not guilty right. But the sometimes it takes that long and I'm going to tell you another story now. And I totally believe in this. If you were innocent, you should not be in jail. And I sometimes think about it, not often because I don't believe I did it. I think about and I pray that I actually never put an innocent man in prison. But we're going to tell you about a man who finally cleared after 25 years in prison. He was in there for murder, y', all, but he didn't commit it. So murder conviction has been thrown out, but only after the accused spent 25 years behind bars. And Harry Rez's conviction has been vacated after he served a quarter of a century for the Harlem shooting of Emmanuel Felix. As a judge and prosecutors may have withheld evidence, you can't do it. And then he's teaching me if you can't come correct, don't do it right. Make it cold. That's what the, every cold case I'm working on now is because we just can't get it there correctly yet. Not because I don't know who did it. The, the quotations. I feel like I can finally breathe again. Ruiz said on Monday. It was according to ABC News, y', all. The 58 year old was just 25 when he was convicted of second degree murder for the 1993 shooting and was paroled in 2019. So an inquiry opened two years ago after New York City Detective Carlo Vasquez became convinced of Ruiz's innocence. Good for you, Carlos. And found payments in housing worth $17,000 to the mom of a 13 year old girl who was the only witness. I'm pretty sure if you're going to do that, I, you know, I don't have $17,000 to, to give you to, you know, false, for false testimony. But no evidence was found that the payments were disclosed to the defense. And Judge Robert Mandelbaum said it was troubling that the former assistant DA Helen Strom refused to take part in the reinvestigation. What do you want me to say? That I feel badly that he was convicted? That's what Strom said. Abc, you don't get a long sentence like this without evidence. She said, adding she was confident relevant laws were followed. Well, you know what? Mr. Ruas deserved a better shot. But then he, he spent that 25 years in prison for crime he did not commit. You know what? I got a story. It's not the, my attorney, Thomas Davenport helped get a guy. I mean he was, he was down for hardcore murder and a life sentence and he's been exonerated since. Like he wasn't even in the state when it happened. And I'm gonna get Tommy on one day and tell the store. It's a hell of a story. Still reading the the book. But anyway, On the roll today with those good stories. Right? Let's see if I can continue it. There's so many. Just all these stories are horrible. Teachers, teachers, husbands, husbands, child porn. You know what? Let's see if I can this one. Love, love, love the state of Wisconsin. I call it the Louisiana of the north. Best people, best everything. Some serious great hunting. Etc, right? And the I missed turkey season this year for the first time in several years. But we're going to Wisconsin and. I've heard 30 years worth of why people were stabbed. Never heard this one before. And in Wisconsin, a man is accused of confronting a driver in traffic for felon to use his turn signal. Right? Happens all the time. You might get a little road rage. Whatever. I remember being in judge Bennett's courtroom and my probable cause for stopping a guy who had a meth lab was that he needs his blinker when he went to pass a car on two lane road. And the judge was like, no, no, no, that's not even a law. I said, yeah. I didn't say I'm, you know, your honor, this law. And. And we argued in the courtroom. He said, go get the. The book. Show me where it's law. And so I did. And then he had to grant my probable cause. He just saw the judge and even the judges don't know our laws, right? He just thought it was a. A common courtesy thing. And not that wasn't an actual 32k. But this dude, he confronted this other driver for failing to use his blinker and then he plunged a folding knife in to the driver's chest after they pulled over to fight each other. All right, quotations. Use your turn signal. Chad Norton, who's 28, screens the other driver in this quarterback to Fox affiliate W I T I I'm gonna beat your ass. And he shouted this while they were driving next to each other. The victim told police he was driving in Racine with his girlfriend on April 23rd when Norton suddenly confronted him in traffic about his driving etiquette. The victim admitted to telling Norton, hey, pull over near the intersection of 12th street in Washington Avenue and order and hop out, right, because he's gonna beat that ass. Like, you'll holler at me in front of my old lady. And so they began fighting each other. According to the criminal complaint, Norton and the man exchanged several punches, little fisticu and they fought each other for about seven seconds. Well, seven seconds in the fist fight seems like seven minutes. But they trading licks, right? Free Fall 5 foe around and find out they're trading licks. And the victim said he didn't see a knife or realize he had been stabbed until after they were done and he returned to his car. That's because your adrenaline was pumping so hard. So they questioned Norton about. Norton said, yeah, I do carry a folded knife but I don't remember pulling it out. Now Norton accused the victim of being the aggressor and said he stabbed the man to get him away from me. Yeah. Well, the victim took himself to the hospital and was treated for puncture wounds, plural and lacerations plural to his chest and arm which required stitches. I'm pretty sure if you're in a fist fight and you pull out your knife and you're, you're cutting and you're stabbing, the reason you stop fighting is because you're like oh the, that oh moment, you know where you're like I thought I might have killed the state. So guess what? Everybody's got a camera. And video provides a cut to the cops shows Norton making multiple stabbing motions toward the man during their fight. An online court records show that Norton was arrested and charged with aggravated battery with the use of a dangerous weapon and first degree recklessly endangering safety with a dangerous weapon. But he got on $5,000 bond but and is due back in court next Wednesday. There you have it. Brought your fist to the knife man that I'm not, I'm not, I'm not getting out of my vehicle, not at my age and getting in a roadside fight, not, not these days. Cuz there somebody will shoot you or stab you. It's not like when we used to actually get out and fight and not you know, pull a pistol or, or a knife. That's the way it happens. It's time for family matters and I guess it just wouldn't be me if I can't end it. This story, this day, this episode. On a really up story. So we are going to, I'm going to tell you about a br New Haven and we're going to New Haven. A Branford father is accused of killing his 12 year old son with the baseball bat and attempting to kill his 16 year old daughter. And he has pled guilty to to the charges or to related charges. According to court documents. Anthony Andrew Espu Tito Jr. Pled guilty to murder, an attempted murder in the state superior court in New Haven. And he's still in jail on the three million dollar bond because he's. He's got more charges pending. So. Anthony was arrested on May 1 of 2025 after police were called to Hemlock Road after he killed his 12 year old son, Anthony P. Esposito Jr. I guess and tried to kill his daughter. Police said the father admitted to hitting the son in the head with a bad baseball bat after son treated him disrespectfully. So Anthony, the dad told police that he heard in his head the voices of his mother and father who he said physically abused him as a child as they kept saying don't let him get or get away with that. The, the disrespectful behavior. That's according to the police report. Now the dad said he also heard his mother's voice saying baseball, baseball bat. This all according to Branford police detective Arthur C. Ferris. And Anthony said he then grabbed a bat and started swinging it and hit his son in the back of the head after that. His 16 year old daughter later asked about her brother and dad. Anthony pushed her down the stairs towards her brother's body. Thankfully she was able to get out of the house. But the father told investigators he said, I'm pretty sure I would have killed her too if I was able to get the bat again. And he was taken into custody after he left his residence and was stopped by troopers near the Durham Madison line on Route 79. And he is not going to get the death penalty because they don't have it there. But I don't know, y'. All. I don't know. Don't know, I don't know. But I'm ending on that. I'm gonna say this. Never give up. Never surrender. Hashtag. What Happened to Madison, Ms. Barbara Blunt? Bradley Stracer AO. You know, I don't know. I don't know. I believe in miracles and. And I believe in God's time that and hard work that everything done in darkness comes to light. That old saying. And it may not happen while I'm on this earth or it may, but if it does, it's gonna be a great day in you bad guys and girls out there already know you're murdering pieces of. All right, so tomorrow the episode will be about Ms. Barbara Blunt. I think it's 19 years, y'. All. 19 years in. I already know what I know. Just can't prove it beyond a reasonable doubt. But I love y'. All. Thank you. I got nothing else today. Y' all have a wonderful weekend. I think the Kentucky Derby might run this weekend. The season, the first weekend of May. Y' all have a wonderful, wonderful weekend, and I will holler at you later. Peace, Sam.
