Hello everybody and welcome to this episode of True Crime. Time for Thursday May 14, 2026 and I'm Woody over bring you the stories the the juice if you will. This world is so crazy y'. All. I mean it's just out the box in I didn't used to think like video games and social media and all that played a big part in it but every day, every day my I'm leaning way more to especially social media keyboard warriors and people behind behind the back in my day if you just said some of the these people Said you got your ass whip. All right, you're five fold, right? Put up or shut up. But that being said, hashtag what happened to Madison, y'. All. And three 1, 3. RLRC tip. Hashtag what happened to Bradley? Not what. Hashtag just for Bradley. Hashtag just for ao. Never going to stop taking the tips. Feel free to call on the tips, am I? I'm never going to work it again on the podcast unless it gets solved. But I will pass on the information to the powers that be and that's the way that that is. And again, hashtag just for Haley. And I've got a schedule with attorney Thomas Davenport about the drawings and everything. So that will be bringing that to you also. And hashtag from Ms. Barbara Blonde, as always. Right? So on this day in 2017, Py Seth Chiwa Cha. How do you say that? C H A Y. C H A Y Cha. Hey. Was murdered and then dismembered. Bob Tang, who is a suspect murderer, believe that Chai was having an affair with his wife and after she asked for a divorce, chase remains were discovered over a month later in a warehouse that Tang operated. Tang's car and phone were discovered at San Francisco International Airport and is believed that he ran like a little to Cambodia where he's, where he's from originally. Tang is currently on the FBI's most wanted list and there's a ten thousand dollar reward for that leads to his arrest. So I hope they get his ass right. We hate all, all murderers. Right? All right. Now, as much as I don't want to talk about this case because this dude's absolutely guilty and, and I stood by that back in the day when my other partners on, on the, the Daily show, we're like, oh, no, he's innocent. The whole nation's captivated by this guy. Well, yeah, you know, erring on the side of caution because we have appeal systems for a reason. And I do believe in the appeal system because they're going to redo this trial and the results are going to be the same. But hold on, I'll play it for you.
Legal/Trial Commentator
We spent months getting ready for this trial. Weeks, six weeks trying this trial. More months finding jurors to talk to and find out if the court could talk to her, talk to them. We had more hearings, more briefing. Nobody wants to do this again less than we do. But that's not the issue. It's not how much trouble it's going to be. It's what is Alec Murdaugh guaranteed to under the sixth Amendment. And heavens Heavens know nobody wants to
Woody Overton
try this case again.
Legal/Trial Commentator
The circumstances of this issue are not lost on us in the courtroom. We have an excellent attorney general with a very professional and competent team of prosecutors, including you, Mr. Waters. On the defense side we have a extremely competent, top drawer representation. We've got a superb trial court judge and out in the hallway we have a rogue clerk court. And even if we accept the truncated version of what you characterize as innocuous statements, even you acknowledge it was improper. Perhaps not improper to the point of reversal, but you acknowledge it was improper. Absolutely.
Woody Overton
Well, and I agree with that. The, you know, everybody deserves a fair and honest trial. And there's even a hint of someone that calls the bird to go against Murdoch, then give them another trial it around and find out because now you're going to get another trial and maybe they'll screw something up in there and, and you get another appeal or whatever, never going to change the fact that he murdered his wife and son. And there's a whole show that goes along with that. You know what, I think I'm gonna cover this some this time and tell you the Woody Overton version of it. But the South Carolina Supreme Court on Wednesday overturned the murder conviction of Alex Murdaugh who was convicted in March of 2023 of the double homicide of his wife and son. So the court ordered a new trial saying that Mary Rebecca Becky Hill, who served as a court clerk in Collinson county exercise improper external influences during Murdoch's first trial. The state Supreme Court voted unanimously on decision. They said although we are aware of the time, money and effort expended for this lengthy trial, we have no choice but to reverse the denial of Murdoch's motion for a new trial due to Hill's improper external influences on the jury and remand for a new trial. Now a Post trial court found that Hill made improper comments to the jurors on the day that Murdoch testified. Eg, quotations. This is an important day or quotations. This is an epic day. And that they should watch Murdoch's body language on the day he testified in his own defense. Now since Hill has pled guilty to four charges, obstruction, justice and perjury for showing a reporter photographs that were sealed court exhibits and then lying about it. Plus two counts of misconduct in office for taking bonuses and promoting a book she wrote on the trial through her public office in December. So as you know, Murdoch was sentenced in 2023 to two consecutive life sentences for murdering his wife and his son. He's also serving an additional 40 years first financial crimes and remains in custody at a maximum security prison in South Carolina. Well, the next thing they're gonna do y' all is is they'll be asking for him to get released on bond and all this to this trial comes forth and. And what have you and whatnot. Am I mad about it? Nope. Proud of the United States justice system for doing this right. This stupid bitch doing the book and saying these things and making money off of it and all that. Yeah, she deserves to be in jail. And they also. She deserves the tax bill for this entire first trial. Everything. She should have to pay for that with her five cents an hour in prison. The just unbelievable, you know, I'm glad it's happening. I hate. I was so sick of hearing about Murdoch when he was guilty in hell. And I didn't have to do anything on it because, like I told them, we made bets on it. I told him. I see y' all crazy. You're buying into the media hype and you listening to these things, and that's the defense attorney's job, is to create exactly what they're doing in your mind. But the people I was dealing with have no criminal justice experience and they've never worked a homicide and what have you. I'm not throwing shade on them. There are a lot of people out there that, that believe that. But I firmly believe in what I know. And it's going to be proven again. And this time, the he won't be able to use hers as an appeal in the pills process. So it is what it is. Moving on, y'. All, Check this out. Look. I used to belong on the Planet Fitness. You never know it. But eight years ago, I used to work out like five, six days a week and stayed in shape and all that good. And Planet Fitness was a really good deal. A lot of gyms. I own a lot of gyms. I joined in the past, you know, you had to sign a year's membership and this and that and what have you. Well, Planet Fitness, I think it was like 10 bucks a month. And you go when you want it to and cancel at any time. The but you know, gems, invites, and this next story I'm going to tell you about is from New Hampshire or it's pretty, pretty stupid. Here we go.
Planet Fitness Incident Reporter
The value of Planet Fitness plunging. In the wake of revelations that biological men were being allowed into women's business bathrooms at the gym, the $400 million valuation hit the result of the stock plummeting after a woman's membership in Alaska was canceled. She took Pictures of a man in a woman's locker room. He was shaving his face. The issue first reported by the X account. Libs a tick tock. That account posted, Whoa. Planet Fitness off 400 million wiped off its value. Since we broke the story of them allowing men in female locker rooms and then banning the woman who explained exposed. It turns out people don't want to support companies who caved gender pseudoscience and allowed men and women's private spaces. Hashtag boycott Planet Fitness. Do not let up. Keep it going. The woman who took that photo said, also, by the way, a little girl was in the corner, maybe 12 years old, in a towel, and she was, quote, freaked out. The policy at this gym, guys, that anybody can use the locker room. You have to. It just corresponds to your gender identity.
Woody Overton
All right, so the. My story is not about. It's not about transgender. The. The. That is what it is, and people believe what they believe in, etc. But I remember being many years ago when this woke stuff or whatever they call it, it was first coming about, and I was in Billings, Montana, and you think that's a pretty conservative place. And I went in the pizza business because I caught them on a Friday evening at 5 o' clock, and they said they were already sold out of pizza. I'm like, well, that must be some great fucking pizza. So I walked to it from the hotel on Saturday and I went to the bathroom, and they had the men's bathroom, a women's bathroom, and whatever you identify as, bathroom, right? So that's everywhere. And I get that. I personally, I mean, you don't hear about stories about women that identify as transgender going into a men's bathroom, Right? Because I guess men don't mind seeing people who identify that away naked. But when you got kids and stuff in the locker room, come on, man, get the out. Build another locker room. They have it. Have it a joint thing where they can go in there and do that if they want to. But the. Let me tell you about it real quick. A New Hampshire woman says Planet Fitness canceled her membership after she complained about seeing a man in the woman's locker room last month. So Judy Walcott, who's a longtime member of Planet Fitness, located in Concord, New Hampshire, told Fox News Digital she felt unsafe encountering someone she believed was a male in the woman's locker room near the shower area on April 11. Let me tell you about these locker rooms. If you walk in, and I used to go in there in between sets and wash my face and stuff like that. But the showers are right there, the toilets are right there, all the lockers right there. I mean, people get naked and workout locker rooms, right? She said I was shaking like I was actually trembling because it freaked me out that bad. Walcat says she reported the incident to a young employee at the front desk who told her there was nothing staff could do because it was company policy. She claims the employee did not check the locker room while she was present. She said she raised the issue again four days later with another staff member because she had safety concerns. But she said the employee called her transphobic. Instead of looking into her claims, she showed concern until I started telling her that there was a creepy guy in the ladies shower on Saturday. Nobody checked him out. Then before I could say anything else, she interrupted me, telling me she thought she knew who I meant and what a wonderful woman that is. She said the conversation went downhill from there, alleging the staff member did not address her concerns and instead repeatedly called her transphobic. And then she walked away. Well, a couple hours later, Walcat said the gym's manager called her to tell her that her membership had canceled for a policy violation. So she said what policy did I violate? I didn't violate policy. I asked about one. She didn't answer me. Walkat later said she checked her account online and saw she had been charged for another month. She also said she had a found a member cancellation or freeze form in her account that requests a cancellation date. April 15th. Right. So I'm not going to keep going into the the I don't the lawsuit and all that. I don't really care about that part. But they, they does go on to say that they she argued with the manager over the the counseling and and all that bullshit. But here's the deal. The oh she also the manager took her form and signed her name and charged her money and extended her membership and then called the cops on her like she said. Like what the hell. I feel like I live in upside down land. So copy the document labeled order to stay off property and review by Fox Digital peers to show an officer signature the gym location in an April 17 date. So the but the Concord Police Department did confirm that Fox News Digital to Fox News Digital at Walcott was formerly trespassed from Planet's Fitness on April 17th. Right. Here's the deal again. It's not about to me, it's really not. I don't care if you're straight, bisexual, homosexual, transgender, whatever. That doesn't register on my give a fuck radar. What does register is this person should at least been checked out. You know, she could have called the cops, said, hey, there's there's a guy in, in the bathroom. The female's bathroom, y'. All. The problem with this is that person can be a convicted sex offender. Yeah, I mean, you don't know that. The, the supplanted fitness should build a different fucking locker room. They're Gonna have that policy and make it a unisex, right? Then. Then you got your own choice whether you want to let your kids go in there and be exposed to anyone. It doesn't matter if it's male or female or whatever, transgender or whatever. The. I mean, you know, identifying is one thing. Being there, exposing yourself to kids of the opposite sex. I do not agree with that. I mean, and I'm not mad at playing, playing a fitness on this is a stupid. Another stupid thing that goes on in this world nowadays. But you better believe that if my daughters or my wife is in a room and a dude comes in there and takes a shower, I'm gonna have a issue with that. And I usually don't do. I usually don't do stories like this. But, you know, the cop taking the paperwork and signing it for the woman, I'm pretty sure that's going to be in the policy and procedure manual. So anyway, it is what it is. God bless everybody. All right, so I told y' all about, I think it was yesterday a story from India where the groom got killed when he's arriving at the wedding. And well, seems like this is not. This just doesn't happen in India. And in. So we're going to Michigan. And in Michigan, a man will spend decades behind bars after the cops say he fatally ran over his best friend just hours after celebrating his wedding. James Shower, 24, was sentenced Monday in Janice County Circuit Court to 30 to 45 years in prison after he pled no contest to second degree murder in the death of Terry Taylor Jr. So this happened on August 30, 2024 in Flint, Michigan, which is roughly an hour northwest of Detroit. Actually, it's, it's pretty, pretty up there during sometime in screen. I've been up there working. But this, this happened after Shire and his bride Savannah Collier had gotten married there, had the big day earlier that day. Right. And authorities said the celebration later moved to a home on East Hamilton Street. And guess what? I don't know if the alcohol was flowing. Pretty sure it was. But an argument broke out. Prosecutors said Shira struck Taylor with his vehicle after dispute and they said the act was deliberate. He had briefly left the scene before returning and hidden the victim and saw in the court testimony. All Testimony reported by MLive.com indicated the force of the impact through Taylor into the air. Right. That's how hard. It's not like he just bumped him with a car. He smacked him with it. Quotations. When I got to him, all I could see was blood. That's what Taylor's cousin said in court. And she said first responders were performing CPR when she arrived. Shivers defense attorney argued the crash was not intentional and stemmed from. Guess what? An alcohol fuel confrontation. He said, the only thing I could do for the rest of my life is express my apology and remorse. I will forever be sorry. This was Shire said during the citizen hearing. The judge said, Mr. Shire, I believe that you are not a criminal. You are, however, a killer. It's true. So court records indicate Shira had no prior criminal history. Look, murders happen every day, but people don't have any prior criminal histories. In addition to the murder conviction, he received concurrent census tied to the crash. For charges including those related to operating the vehicle without a license and leaving the scene, he'll be eligible for parole after serving at least 30 years. Guess you don't want to run over your best friend in Michigan. You know, I haven't talked a lot about the Nancy Guthrie case. Look, sorry. She's dead. And she's been murdered. There's no doubt about it. Just like Ms. Barbara Blunt. Just like Bradley Stracer and just like Madison. But you got to prove it, right? And now this is deals directly with a case, but also perjury allegations.
Legal/Trial Commentator
Hey, Sheriff. How are you? Good. It's Mother's Day on Sunday. I was wondering if you had a message to the Guthrie family. Sorry, sir.
Woody Overton
You're okay.
Legal/Trial Commentator
It's 100 days now. Almost, sir. Are you guys any closer to solving Are. Good. That's good to hear. Thank you, sir. You have a great weekend. Thank you.
Woody Overton
Sheriff's driving a vet, by the way, so. Said that, you know, he's 100 days in. They don't have dick. And I mean, it's. It's just like Ms. Barbara's case. But this guy, at least in Ms. Barbara's case, the whole world was working against them. They got this cat on video and stuff, right? But they said a move to Alice. Pima County Sheriff Chris Nano's failed during a board of supervisors meeting on Tuesday night, though the board voted to refer perjury allegations to the state Attorney general's office as Nano's past record and handling of the Nancy Gunther case have been heavily scrutinized. Now, Republican Steve Christie moved to have the board declare the sheriff's office vacant and begin the process to replace him immediately. No one seconded the motion, though, y'. All. And so the bid failed. Democrat Rex Scott then made a motion to refer allegations of perjury against Nano to the state attorney general's office, which the board approved by four to no vote. That's called this is an ape, an acute political emergency. We're not going to say he has to vacate the office, but let the AG's office say it if there's enough there. My chief concern for what's been going on within the sheriff's department is that our elected sheriff has taken no discernible efforts to repair relationships and trust within our largest department. This is what Scott said after that vote. The most telling example of that was the unanimous vote of the Pima County Deputies Organization organization declaring no confidence in his leadership. Now let's talk about that real quick. That could be because they really didn't believe it or that could be somebody that's wanting his job. Right. But they said the board's actions capped a high stakes showdown over allegations that the man leading the Gunther kidnapping investigation lied under oath about his past police record. Now you're going to up on this one. The developments followed weeks of mounting pressure from within the county's own leadership. With two supervisors, Christie and a Democrat, Matt Hines pushed him to remove the elective sheriff or take formal action against him. They said this accountability for a guy who has evaded accountability for decades, this is what Hines holds. Fox News Digital called calling Nanos a public safety threat. That's pretty ballsy to call your sheriff that. But at the center of the controversy claims that Nano's misled officials about his disciplinary history as a Texas police officer in the 1970s and 1980s. The allegations stem from a deposition in a lawsuit where Nano said under oath that he had never been suspended as a law enforcement officer. That's almost impossible. Hell, y', all, one time I got suspended for a day, right? But records from El Paso, first obtained by the Arizona Republic and later posted publicly by the county, show he was suspended multiple times and resigned in lieu of termination. Happens all the time. Cops get in trouble, they're like motherfuckers, just resign and go away and we won't say anything bad about you. But Chrissy said the sheriff had already missed the deadline to answer questions on the road from the board, which escalate the situation. He's already filled that request, so we're into the next phrase. Chris said the end that came right before the potential move to vacate the office. Now, because the sheriff is an elected official, removing him is legally complicated. The supervisors have pointed to a rarely used Arizona law dating back to the 1800s as a thing that they can use against him. So even without removal, Hines said the board could still take other actions, including passing a resolution expressing a lack of confidence or referring the allegations for criminal investigation to the start to the state attorney general, which is what they did. He also noted that conviction on perjury charges would ultimately force a sheriff from office because you can't hold it when you're a convicted criminal. Adding to the tension, both sides have retained outside legal counsel rather than relying on the county's attorney office, which is a move Christie said is costing taxpayers additional money. In a written response to the board, Sheriff Nanos pushed back on the claims, arguing arguing controversy stems from misunderstanding, not perjury. His attorney says the sheriff's testimony referred only to his Arizona career, noting he was never suspended during his decades with the Pima County Sheriff's Department, though he did face discipline earlier in Texas. The memo also confirms that Nanis resigned from the El Paso Police Department in 1982 rather than accept a proposed suspension following a dispute with a supervisor. Hines has disputed that characterization, arguing the record shows Nanos resigned in lieu of determination, not discipline. The sheriff has declined to answer questions in person under oath. Instead, he submitted a notarized statement to the board after the deadline, which Hines said may still be accepted but does not re resolve the underlying concerns. Now look, all this is going on. I get it. You think your sheriff's not doing a good job, but I'm pretty sure that falls on your detectives, by the way. And I think they're doing what they can do. They brought in God and everybody. But who gets left out in this when you're fighting over a no vote of confidence, etc, I'm going tell you who gets left out. The victim, the investigation and the gun Guthrie's February 1st disappearance has now stretched past 100 days with few public breakthroughs. The case involving the 84 year old mother of the Today's Co host Savannah, has drawn national attention and sparked tension between Nanos and the FBI, including a public clash with Director Cash Patel over whether fellow agents were initially sidelined. Ooh, that's a favorite of local law enforcement. They don't like the feds coming in. Hines has also called on the sheriff to hand over the investigation to the feds, which they should at least be working together. Said it's ridiculous. Almost every other jurisdiction would have done so by now. They wouldn't have just handed it over, but they damn sure would have had him sitting in the meat in the office every day. So now they have more than 1.2 million in reward money being offered for information that leads to answer as her family continues to plead for help and. And they should. And the Never give up, never surrender. And one day I'm gonna be able to prove to y' all that these words are true. One of these cases, right? The Ms. Barber's case. It is the oldest one that I'm still actively working. And no, I don't talk about her every single day. Bradley Stryster. We know what happened to Austin o'. Banion. Bradley Stracer. The me not use my platform to further some of the people who were supposed to be the champions for Bradley. Just not going to do it. And I'm not going to go into the details of what happened, and I don't have to.

I'm not running scared. Not because what anybody did. I'm just. I'm going to continue to mention Bradley always and. But I'm not giving these my platform anymore to cause a show they were causing, which is absolutely being counterproductive to Bradley Str's case. And that's a fact, and I have it documented. So get somebody else to do your. Or you get somebody else. You want to hash on a rag on when you don't have a clue what's actually being done and you can't be told up for obvious reasons. So there you go. The. I want to talk about this one, y'. All. One more. This. This just absolutely pisses me off. Now, I've talked about it in the past. Squatters, all right? And I told you in the state of Louisiana, if you come to my house, I'll let you stay for like five nights on my couch. And I'm gonna be like, hey, man, you gotta go. You know, go find somewhere else to live or whatever. Technically, you don't have to go after X amount of nights you're considered domiciled. Well, this has been taken to. I mean, the cops come and be like, you got to get an eviction notice, dude. This has been taken to a whole new level. And we're doing these stories over and over and over again about squatters. And let me tell you, I'M pretty sure I wouldn't have that problem. Because if I tell you get the out and you don't get the out, I'm gonna make you want to get the out. Well, we do these stories over and over again about people living in other people's homes, like, and remodeling them, and. And. And. And there it's tied up in a court systems because they say it's a civil matter, not a criminal matter. Check this one out. It's about somebody's kind of taking it into their own hands.

My name is Flash. I have a renovation agreement, and I'm here to do some maintenance. Yeah, we put a notice on the door here. Just gotta change some smoke detectors. If you open the door, I can hear you and I can show you the notice. I. I just need to check the smoke detectors.
Woody Overton
Is there something wrong with the ones
Legal/Trial Commentator
that are in here?
Flash Shelton
Yes. So, like, we'll check batteries, we'll push buttons, and then if there's any that are more than five years old, I have to put up new ones. Everything I'm telling her is true. I've actually. Actually been a handyman and contractor for many years and will do maintenance on these smoke detectors.
Legal/Trial Commentator
Does it take two of you to do this?
Flash Shelton
No. I mean, would, you know, would you be more comfortable if it's just me? Yes, I can do that for you. Okay.
Legal/Trial Commentator
All right, I'll just hang tight, Flash. All right.
Flash Shelton
Sorry to bother you. I'm going to go ahead and get an assessment of all of them.
Woody Overton
Okay.
Flash Shelton
And then that way I know how many I need to replace. Okay. Okay. And then I just need to take some pictures, let them know that I did it. Okay. So is there one in the kitchen? Yeah. Let me check that one first. All right, let's see if we can get it to beep. Okay, so that one's not working. If you had a fire in the kitchen, that wouldn't have been good. Go to the next one. All right, Let me check the bedroom. All right. Wow. Okay.
Woody Overton
See, that one's working.
Flash Shelton
That one's working. Just you here?
Weight Watchers/Grainger Advertiser
Yeah.
Flash Shelton
Okay. Kids live here with you?
Woody Overton
No. No, no, no.
Flash Shelton
Almost looks like you just moved in.
Woody Overton
Yeah, well, I've been here, like, nine months, so.
Flash Shelton
Oh, wow.
Woody Overton
All right. I'll be glad.
Legal/Trial Commentator
Okay.
Flash Shelton
There is definitely no sign of. Kids. Come on in.
Legal/Trial Commentator
Hey.
Flash Shelton
Hey, Sally, can you come out here a second? I want to show you something. I have a lease for the property to move in here.
Legal/Trial Commentator
Come on.
Weight Watchers/Grainger Advertiser
Come on.
Flash Shelton
This is my team right here.
Weight Watchers/Grainger Advertiser
No, I.
Flash Shelton
We're Taking over this house.
Weight Watchers/Grainger Advertiser
You can't do this.
Woody Overton
This is my house.
Flash Shelton
I understand you're upset.
Legal/Trial Commentator
Get out.
Woody Overton
Get out. Okay, hold on. See, y', all. This guy has a show called Squatters, and evidently he goes in under a roost and. And gets the people out. Let me tell you about it. So he thought it would be a simple caller law enforcement. Instead, when intruders took over his late father's home in 2019, squatters host flash Shelton says he was told there was nothing deputies could do. The moment flipped everything he thought he knew about property rights. And he's got his own reality TV show, and I haven't watched. But you know what? I will watch it because I love watch people get busted. Shelton, who had moved his mother into his own home while the family was grieving, had an instinct to protect his family. Shelton explained what would shock most Americans isn't just that squatters can occupy homes, is how the law treats them once they're inside. All the rights, not just some of the rights, but all the rights fall to the squatter. And he added that many homeowners would be surprised to hear that a squatter just has to create a reasonable doubt to be given full rights as a tenant, that there isn't a system in place that says that you have to have a lease or you have to be able to show rent payments to be a tenant, that if you have possession, you have rights. That's fucking bullshit. All right? But in his experience, homeowners don't stand a chance. He says squatters talking about a show. Squatters figure out different ways to take properties, and they know what to say. He said the whole system is wrong. Shelton claims some squatters even secure leases with false promises of paying rent. And once that lease is in place, he says, they are treated as full tenants. Every single other contract would be null and void if you enter it and you signed it under fraudulent means. Originally, the system was designed because they were looking at homeowners as being rich. They were looking at tenants as being poor. That's what Sheldon said. So they create a system to level those terms. But what they forgot is the fact that homeowners are not all rich. And just because you own a mortgage doesn't mean that you have money. It is unfavorably balanced right now, and it's fallen on homeowners. And when it comes to lawmakers who defend the system, yeah, well, this. If it happened to them, they'd be writing a law about it. But he said, I think they need to understand and try to Relate to somebody that doesn't have the money to go through these situations and understand that some of these people are losing homes over this because they can't afford to fight. Right? You can't get the income from a rental to pay your mortgage and ultimately you lose it. But Shelton has carved out a niche in the digital space as an anti squatter activist turned content creator. He's gained widespread attention for his viral squatter hunter videos. His popularity led to the creation of an A E show called Squatters. He used social media to shed a light on this homeowner issue by uploading viral TikTok confrontations with squatters and YouTube long form breakdowns of property disputes and collaborations with homeowners during eviction standoffs. So the, I mean this, this TV show, basically it focuses on him and his team as they go across the country and help homeowners now. Always a critic. I'm pretty sure they must have a squatter in our life too that they love. While some critics have labeled Shelton tactics as aggressive, he insists he operates within the law. When he first worked to get his parents home back, Shelton figured out a way to mirror the same legal framework that squatters use. He said, I had to take it into my own own hands and figure it out. And I learned everything about squatters. I figured out that if they could take the house, I could take the house back. And I was going to take my house back. Good for you. Shelton recalled accusing. Shelton recalled accusing him of being a vigilante as he took matters into his hand. I do a lot to make sure that I'm working within the guidelines of law, not only to protect myself, but to protect the homeowners. Well, you know what, Mr. Shelton? You, sir, are a pimp for what's right. Meaning that's, that's a. Love that. Like this lady in this video, she's been living there nine months not paying rent. You got to pay. Insurance, you got to pay. I'm pretty sure there's no HOA where she was at, but they. You got to pay everything, you know. And she did maintain. And you should see the video, the inside of the place. It's kind of trash. You know why? Because it's not my. I'm living for free. And now you're not. And you've been exposed and love and appreciate each and every one of y'. All. Thank you for liking and listening and sharing. Let me know what you think about doing the Nancy's case. Ms. The Nancy that's missing. I don't know if I'M gonna do that. Or Murdoch. The. The Murdoch thing. It's just not even close from a law enforcement standpoint. This is so much shit this dude has done. And the fact that he's getting a new trial. Oh, my God. The ones that are loving that are the TV stations and the people who do podcasts about it and whatever. Right? Because they don't have their own stories to work. But I think I'm gonna do it this time, too. Let's lay it down and let the chips fall where they may. Cause I'm gonna call a spade a spade. But I'm Woody Overton, you host a True crime. Time for this Thursday, May 14, 2026. And let me get a shout out to my son who graduates with his master's in business tomorrow. Now he get it. He's gotten this master's in business while he's been working full time for a great company. But the he graduates tomorrow, will be in Lafayette, Louisiana, at the graduation at ULL is what they call it now. It was USL when I went there. So shout out to you, LA son. Daddy's proud of you. And that's it. Love y'. All. Holler at you later. Peace.
