Woody Overton
Yeah. Maddie, thank you so much, sweetie. That was awesome. The. And she's right, y'. All. We have lifers that come in. Some are male, but most, not most, but they, they come in by themselves. And the. These females come in. Met one last year at the Friday night thing at Walcor. And I saw her and she was looking around, she saw me. And I introduced myself and I said, are you here by yourself? She said, yeah. And I'm from like, I think she was like Washington state or somewhere. And I was like, well, you know what? You're not alone. And I brought her over and I introduced her to all the lifers and hell, they partied all weekend. But thank you so much for that, Maddie. And y' all are awesome. Yes, the lives really are just a kick in the ass. That much fun. But I came here to tell you some crime stories, so let's get down to it. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Maddie, you. You are amazing, man. We love you, y'. All. You know what? The. As a cop, especially when you're in uniform patrol, the Waffle House is like the. Right now. The Wall House is the after a night of drinking and you got somebody to drive you there and what have you. But I'd never really been more than like four or five times in my entire life. Mainly because I was on the east side of the parish when I was with Livingston and the Waffle House was on the west. And you can never get away for a sit down meal because if you get called it take 45 minutes someplace to get there from the Waffle House. But the drunks and the shit that goes on in the Waffle House. Yeah, the employee. This story for you, it is guaranteed the Waffle House will be a shit show. So we're Going to Harris County, Texas. And a Waffle House in northwest Harris county was closed and surrounded by crime scene tape as deputy said they were investigating a potential stabbing on Sunday morning. Yeah, Deputy set up. Now this is what happens at the Wall house. That's why the cops get to eat for free. And deputy said a fight broke out between an employee and five or six customers at about 2:30am on Sunday at the restaurant on West Little York near Fry in the Katy area. And it was in Texas, y'. All, Houston. According to investigators, words were exchanged before a fight broke out, ending with one employee injuring one of the customers. See that dumbass drunk. He had the fifo. The Harris County Sheriff's Office said they're trying to determine that the customer was stabbed. Well, I don't think it's that hard to see if you got holes in you. But deputy said the employee was also injured. And deputies are considered in a case of self defense. Investigators said everyone is expected to survive and that's, that's a blessing. But the Waffle House was closed for several hours as deputies investigated in the crime scene tape surround the building and at least until 6am on Sunday. You know what the bad part about this is? I'm glad nobody got killed. The bad part is all the drunks that were still pulling up at 3, 4 o' clock in the morning or somebody you know might have just stayed up all night gaming, went to go get them. Some scattered, smattered, splattered and chunked from the grills of steel by Chef Smoking Joe Nasty. And it was close because I had to stab somebody. There you go. You know, I've spent a lot of years investigating some of the darkest cases out there and seeing things most people couldn't imagine. But I tell you this, the hardest thing I've ever had to deal with wasn't out on the scene. It was happening in my own mind. I have ocd. And for a long time I didn't realize that's what it was. You see, OCD is nothing like the stereotypes you hear about. It's not being need or organized. And it's a serious condition and it's a lot more common than people think. And then you feel driven to do certain things, mentally or physically, and just to try to get some relief. But no matter what you do, those thoughts keep coming back. And the hardest part, they latch onto the things that matter most to you. Your family, your health, Your relationships, even your identity, they can feel real and that's what makes them so upsetting. I know a lot of y' all reached out to me about this over the years, so if any of this sounds familiar for you or someone you love, I want you to hear this. Real help exists. Yeah, all kinds of dumbasses and this is a planes, trains and automobile all day long. Why? Because a dude gets kicked off a plane, right? So a passenger was kicked off of Qantas Quantum. Am I saying that right? Q A N T S I know that's Australian, I think, but Qantas flight after a confrontation outside a bathroom which escalated during the long haul journey. Now the man, believed to be a New Zealander, was on board an 18 hour flight from Melbourne, Australia to Dallas, Texas. And that's when they said he allegedly caused a disturbance. So the QF21, I'm guessing that's the number on the Qantas flight was forced to divert to Tahiti where the passenger was arrested and jailed in the capital of Papity. In a statement to the Daily Mail, Qantas confirmed the man has now been banned from flying on his aircraft. Well, you might ask, what did he do? Video of the altercation captured American comedian and the Hundred with Andy Lee star Mike Goldstein. I don't know who the fuck that is, but it showed the man exiting the toilet and slurring to a clearly exasperated flight attendant that he was just about to walk out for a cigarette. Dude, Mike Goldstein, I bet you were gonna do a lot of things but you weren't walking out out of that airplane to go have a go burn one. So the flight attendant said, look dude, Behave yourself. There are kids everywhere. And that's when the agitated pastor then asked if he was smoking weed. As shock passengers watched on one dumbass. The pastor could be heard saying, off, cunt. Sorry, y', all, I don't like the C word either, but that's what he said. And you know what? At this point, I'm pretty sure if you tell your, your whatever they call them now, hostess, steward, flight attendants, whatever, to off c u n t as they're trying to get you back to your seat, well, that's not going to be in well for you. So the flight attendant responds after she was told off C u n T, the flight attendant said, if you don't behave yourself, we'll have to restrain you. And once you restrain, you're restrained for the whole trip. She's, she's saying 5 oh around and find out, man, what will it do to you? They got the picture of this cat, y'. All. Anyway, the said, watch your language. You're carrying on like a bloody two bob watch. I'm sure that's an Australian, Sam. Now, there's always a gentleman in the crowd like me, and I probably would have done the same thing. And they said a second man stepped in to physically restrain him, and he said he was being taken to sit at the back of the. Of the plane. And the passengers said, I was just taking a piss. Right. Well, in Mr. Goldstein's footage, the man could be seen lying. Maybe it wasn't G that was doing it. Mr. Goldstein, footage. The man could be seen lying face down at the back of the aircraft after it landed in Pepet. He said the diversion added three hours to the journey and many passengers missed their connected flights after arriving in Dallas on Saturday morning, local time. In a statement to the Daily Mail, Quanta spokesperson said, they always say this, y'. All. They. They must cut this out and paste it everywhere. The safety of our customers and our crew is our number one priority. And we have zero tolerance for disruptive or threatening behavior on our flights. We're grateful to our crew and other passengers who assisted during the incident. Well, the aircraft was refueled and the customers continued on their journey to Dallas and got there Saturday morning. So. And the passenger was issued a no fly ban on the Qantas Group aircraft. What do you think jails like in Tahiti? I bet you he 5 owed. And he knows now that he's probably still sitting in jail, the dumb ass. Y' all know I curse a lot. And my God, mom was telling me the other day, she said, you know you have a potty mouth. I said, yeah, yes, ma', am, I do. And just being raw and uncensored, but that's even one word that I don't like to say. The C U N T. All right, so let's say you go to college and college is expensive. Af Right. And I can tell you before you graduate that you have to have, whether you run the books or, you know, whatever, you got tuition, outstanding, etc. You got to pay all your shit or you're not graduating, they just, you're not going to get it. You spend all that time there, you got all your hours and you not getting the great the degree and when you owe money. So Boston University, pretty sure Boston University is pretty expensive. It's not Harvard, but we're going to take you there. And this, what even makes this case worse, this is not a regular student. This is a Boston University law student harassing the school's dean and fellow students.
Grainger Advertiser
Prosecutors say he also threatened a mass shooting.
Woody Overton
They also say that he posted some
Logan Hall
disturbing images on social media.
Woody Overton
WBC's Logan hall is live in Boston
Alex Almanza
tonight with the very latest.
Woody Overton
Logan.
Logan Hall
Yeah, David and Lisa. Prosecutors laid out pages and pages of evidence in court documents, including several social media posts showing Boston University staffers and their family members. It has students on campus here shaken up as we head into a very busy graduation weekend. Prosecutors say Boston University law student Maximilian Saju posted photos on his Instagram story of shell casings and his targets from a sharpshooter range, along with pictures of Boston University deans, their families and their homes with threatening messages.
Woody Overton
You stand charged with the stalking threat to commit a crime, criminal harassment.
Logan Hall
This all started back in January when Boston University Police say so Ju became upset over a $20,000 unpaid bill from the university and sent around 200 emails to staff members.
Maddie
He also posted screenshots of a apartment complex that is believed to be that the defendant Googled and believes to be the home address of the associate dean, Geraldine Muir. In that screenshot, he included the apartment number that he believes that she resides in.
Logan Hall
Prosecutors say over the next several months, he began posting those threatening images to social media while continuing to email university officials, prompting concerns over his mental well being. Soju's attorney argued that there is not enough evidence to suggest that he made those posts.
Maddie
It's very scary, right? It's, it's unreal to some degree, maybe
Alex Almanza
just a little bit. Still in shock about, like the fact
Woody Overton
that that was happening and I didn't know.
Logan Hall
We spoke to a neighbor of Saju's who lives in an apartment complex in Chelsea. She said he mostly kept to himself and had noticed strong smells of marijuana coming from his unit. She was shocked to hear the news.
Maddie
I was surprised. I mean, I. We recently just moved here and, you know, we've seen our neighbors, we've talked to them, and it's just surprising that, like, you know, someone next to you is a person like that.
Logan Hall
The most recent threats come on the heels of graduation weekend here at Boston University and have led to a strong police presence on campus noticed by students.
Woody Overton
There were definitely the bomb squads around. I saw everybody again at Serena. They had the cops with their dog sniffers, so they're definitely here.
Logan Hall
A plea of not guilty has been entered on Saju's behalf, and he's being held without bail pending his trial on May 21st. Reporting live tonight on Boston University's campus, I'm Logan Hall, WBC News.
Maddie
Logan, thank you.
Woody Overton
All right, y'. All. So this cat started back in January about $20,000 in tuition that he owed, okay. Sent over 200 emails, went and stalked down these. These professors and people at the university's homes and took pictures of them and sent them in emails. They. You couldn't see that they were showing in the article online and on top of making the threats to the students and the staff at the school, and this motherfucker's a law student. The. How do you think it's going to work out for you? And he. Not only did he do all the emails, but he posted a series of photos to Instagram which included the photos of Boston University's Nickerson Field, a sharpshooter range in Virginia, and a screenshot from the movie Boys in the Hood right before a drive by shooting took place. So, I mean, you think you. Wait, you. How much weed did you smoke, bro? The. You know, so they. The school requested a wellness check and then guess what, they went to check on him and he wasn't even home. And they said there was a large pile of mail which indicated he hadn't been there in a while. And, you know, let me read you one of the emails. And this is to all the. Everybody in the world there, including the dean of students and all different officials and assistant dean and everything else. And one of the emails read, if you see in report that I killed myself, I most definitely did not. Do you see any report that I overdose? I most definitely did not. If you see a report that I killed everyone else, such as Jerry Muir, Jason Kimmel Fosser or others, I most definitely did not y'. All. Those are the. Some of the people they email. So the Boston University police located side Juice using a cell phone which showed he was in Hong Kong at the time. And that same day he called Boston University and asked to speak to Campbell Foster, one of the deans who was not available. He didn't ask if the dean was at home or on campus, and he refused to leave a message. Blah, blah, blah. Then he emailed Muir with a screenshot of the apartment complex like they were talking about at that bro. I mean that would freak you out too if somebody emails you a picture of your front door, like, I'm coming for you. So anyway, they. That. That all got reported. The. The. This lady Muir that said that he actually tried to contact, even contact her brother the month before doesn't have anything to do with it, right? This dude's obsessed, obviously. And he posted another set of photos on Instagram which included Dean Camel Foster with his husband and child alongside a throwing up emoji. He also posted a Google search asking if one Luigi Mangione was a hero. I guess that's that guy that shot that CEO in an image of a target practice that was geotagged as Brookline. Well, you just got his horny out. The He. He actually made email, wanted the dean's Jason Camel Foster with or sent him a text says, jason, you will learn to never mess with a sad juice in your life. And tag Boston University. This is who y' all hired. Stupid. It's not funny. Obviously he's got issues. But the so let me tell you how he gets arrested, right? Because I said he was in Hong Kong. I mean, I guess you got a twenty thousand dollar bill, but you can fly around the world. The prosecutor said the Sojuice then traveled from China to Paris, France, and at some point where he asked US Embassy for help flying back to Boston because he had run out of money. And he was arrested at Logan Airport as soon as he touched down. So the. It goes on and on and on. The. But I mean, come on, man, maybe that dude really does have some type of mental problems. Because if you're a law student and you owe 20k and you do all that, you think they're just not. They're gonna sit back and be like, okay, that's fine. He's out there threatening us. We're good. It's time for family matters. It's time for effed up professionals, y'. All. I remember when Ubers and then it was left and all that first started coming out because I was traveling a ton at the time and I always had to use taxis or rent a personal car or whatever. Right? But we always end up doing stories about this stuff, but we have never done a story about Tonight. An indie mom told us her 12 year old son will never use Uber again, claiming he was supposed to be headed to school, but ended up across town instead of Alex Almanza talked to that mom tonight.
Podcast Host
Who wants that driver held accountable.
Alex Almanza
That mother says her son was supposed to be dropped off at Guyon Creek Middle School, but she says the driver canceled the ride and drove to Fountain Square instead. A school bus that never arrives set off a chain of events Geralyn Alexander says ended with her seeking therapy for her and her son. She doesn't want her face shown, fearing the Uber driver already has her address.
Maddie
I've been crying since Wednesday because I felt like I could not protect my child.
Alex Almanza
She says her son's bus never arrived, prompting her to send him to school. Using Uber for teens. Alexander says it all seemed fine until she got a notification that the ride had been canceled.

So that prompted me to pull up his location because we have airtags and I saw that he was nowhere near his school.

Guyon Creek is only a four mile drive from her home. Instead, she saw her son 10 miles away from the school, the complete opposite direction. So she says she FaceTimed her son while he was in the car to see what was going on.
Maddie
He asked the Uber driver and the Uber driver was like, oh, that's not the address that's in. That was requested in the ride. You know, just a bunch of excuses.
Alex Almanza
Alexander also says the driver didn't even match the profile photo on the account. And she claims there was a language barrier, saying when her son asked where he was taking him, the driver never really responded and kept going, refusing to let him out. She says she called 911 and that's when the driver let him go and drove away.
Maddie
I've been working with detectives. I have not heard back from Uber. They will not reach out, they will not return my calls.
Alex Almanza
But Uber did respond to 13News. A spokesperson for the company told us they have a team of safety experts working around the clock to respond to incidents like this, saying, quote, we're alarmed by what's been described. We can't imagine how terrifying this experience must have been and are continuing to look into this report. We stand ready to assist the police with their investigation.
Maddie
I'm going to do everything that I can to make sure whoever's, you know, did this is held accountable.
Alex Almanza
IMPD is investigating the incident. Meanwhile, Uber's policy requires that underage riders be at least 13 years old in Indianapolis. Alex Almanza, 13 News not throwing shade

on the mom, but I didn't know they had such a thing as Uber teen, but I would hope they would be at least 13 years old. But the yeah, putting your 1212 year old son in an Uber. I guess they had phones and stuff so I'm not that much hate on her. But the this cancels the thing now look, I've had that happen to me. Oh that's not the right address. I'm canceling. But they charge you anyway and put you out on a corner. This happened to me in New York City one time. I almost beat the dude's ass.

I mean, what do you think you're going to do? You got a 12 year old kid, bro, you cancel the. You hadn't kicked them out until they call 911 and get some FaceTime with mom. I mean, you think this just going to magically go away? I don't know. I'm glad the kid's safe. It sounded like there might have been something a little nefarious there until another Uber experience I had. I landed in Detroit. I had a meeting about, about 40 minutes away. It was a. It wasn't quite summer yet, but it was a really, really warm spring day. And I'm in code and tie, right? And my Uber shows up and this motherfucker is missing windows, windows. Now I'm pushing time frame for my meeting and we get into things. I'm blowing, my hair is blowing everywhere. And always had short hair back then, but hair's blowing, I'm sweating. And then you know what happens? Dude had to stop. He had to stop. He put $3 gas in his Uber and then took me the rest of the way to meet. And by the time I got there, I was sweating balls and I had a real case of the red ass. I'm like, I'm pretty sure if you're going to be in an Uber. I know you got to refill, but it's like a cop car. You don't stop on the. On the way to a 9111 of three domestic violence in. In action call to get $3 in gas. Yeah. It's time for family matters and then we're going to tell you about this one. We're going to Tennessee. So my parents had to go a lot of times to my schools because I got in trouble and I wasn't me. I might be in for fighting or sleeping, whatever, it doesn't matter. I didn't do anything bad bad. I never thrown blow anything up or anything like that, but I stayed in trouble. And so your parents get called and that's some shit. You don't really don't want. You don't want my parents show up, especially my daddy. Holy smokes. The anticipation of that was the only reason. I think the principals did it because they knew my daddy's going was going to get me, and rightfully so. But let's do school board meetings and all that. I don't think my parents ever went to one, ever. All the rest of my brothers and sisters have made straight A's. They're saying. What started as a routine trip to a school band meeting in Memphis ended with a mom behind bars. You know why? Because planes, trains and automobiles should be included too. She decided to use her car as a weapon. School band meeting. You know, in the. She's behind bars now. And she used her car as a weapon. And a group of teenagers scrambling out of the way for their lives. Right. So on April 21, the Memphis Police Department officers responded to an assault call at Melrose High School. They got there and separating the situation. What happened? They found out that there was a shit show that spiraled so far out of control it left investigators filing charges. They included aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, and vandalism against Jasmine Dunmars. The incent is a reminder that school safety threats do not always come from where you expect them. Right. Del Mars had originally arrived at the school for just an ordinary reason. And she came with her three daughters to attend a meeting connected to the school ban. It was the kind of things that parents do every week at schools across the country. But the afternoon took a sharp turn when another parent approached her with a concern that clearly turned into a shit show. All right. It turned into a big ass confrontation. The confrontation that followed would leave students in danger and at least one vehicle seriously damaged and an entire school community shaken. So what happened was, police say Dunmars physically joined a fight involving students before getting behind the wheel and doing what no one in the parking lot expected. What did she do? Well, according to the affidavit filed by the Memphis Police Department, this, this whole trouble began after the band meeting wrapped up. Then another parent approached Dunmar's and accused Dunmar's child of bullying. Hot topic today. Well, the conversation did not stay verbal. Things escalated quickly when Dunmar's daughter began physically fighting with another one of the students on the campus. Well, maybe she is the bully, but what did Dunmar Steve, good mama's gonna step in and stop, baby, baby, stop. You know, you, you gonna get in trouble. No, no, she didn't do any of that. Then rather than doing that, she, Dunmars ran up to the student and began hitting them herself. Right? Nothing like a little mother daughter whip ass at the school band meeting. And that's where the situation crossed from the heated school dispute into something much more serious. So a parent physically striking a student on school grounds is, you know, fucking stupid and alarming. Right. But what came next made it a criminal matter with felony level consequences. This is where we come into the planes, trains and automobiles. So demars is in the middle of the fight with her daughter, right? Just fists the cuffs. I'm gonna get down on my daughter. You say my daughter's a bully. Fuck you. We about to whoop that ass. So. But after she got tired of swinging, she gets into her vehicle. Then she accelerated and rammed directly into other parents car, striking the passenger side door. Right, that's, that's pretty bad. I mean, you can't explain that away. The you just were in a fistfight with them. Then I guess you get tired, you go get in your car, you rev it up and you smash like bumper cars. Fun fair part. But the she did that. But she wasn't done yet. After she crashed to the car, police say Dunmar's re put it in reverse, then drove towards the students who were still fighting nearby. Right. Leave my kid over there fighting, I'm gonna smash her car. First the students managed to jump out of the way before they were hit. She then struck the other parents car a second time before leaving the scene entirely. No wonder what kind of car she's driving. Her radiator and busted. But by the time the police officers figured out everything that happened and the charges were significant. Ag assault, reckless endangerment and vandalism. And guess what? Ms. Dunmar's didn't get too far because they cuffed her ass. Cuffed her and stuffed her and booked her into jail. Now the charges she's facing the each of them is serious in their own way. Agassault in Tennessee involves intentionally, knowingly or recklessly causing bodily injury to another person or in this case using a deadly weapon, which a car naturally is. Right. Reckless endangerment covers the act of creating a substantial risk of death or serious injuries to other and driving a vehicle at teenagers in a school parking lot, that definitely qualifies for that. Vandalism covers the damage done to the other parent's vehicle which was struck twice. And you put them all together and she is in a show for being up family planes, trains and automobiles and everything else this dumbass lady could do the yeah, y'. All. The Agassol is reversed in Louisiana. The assault in Louisiana is is a verbal or threat with Agassizole is a threat with a weapon. Like if you point a pistol at me and say I'm gonna blow your brains out. That's aggravated solid. In Louisiana it's aggravated battery if they shoot you or second degree aggravated battery if they shoot you. The assault in the other states is the actual unwanted touching or the hurting. So that, that's attempted murder. You went to your kids band meeting, you leave and another parent comes up to you and it's like, look, probably like I don't really be disrespectful, but your daughter's been bullying my daughter. Well, your daughter goes fisticuffs with that kid. You told your mama and then your mom's like, it's done. Mars like you I'm jumping into then smashing the cars. I mean you can't make that up. You just absolutely can't make it up. And that's what you get on True Crime Time for today. Simply amazing. I gotta do this one. If the video is going to play the it should be planes, trains and automobiles at the very least. But this game, what they did, they not only did with their vehicle, then they got after they did what they did, they got out with machetes and a gun. See if I can play it for you. This probably just could be the video of what actually happened because you know you're always on camera everywhere. It's a crazy ass story.
Maddie
So 23 minutes past 11, got the victim's car parking her. It starts with the headlights coming across and it's then that the two vehicles crash into the captain's car.
Woody Overton
They're showing them chopping people from machetes, y'.
Maddie
All.
Woody Overton
They crash into the car.
Maddie
You can see here one of the victims trying desperately to get out, but the car is trapped between the wall. So as he's trying to open the door and he's just not possible, as you can see here, multiple weapons.
Woody Overton
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 bad guys.
Maddie
The goodman is hiding in the shadows just here as he and a gun around his master. It's gonna be quite difficult to identify who that person. So you can see this is the gun. Looks like a pistol of some kind pointing into the back of the car.
Woody Overton
Yeah. This video.
IQ Bar Advertiser
Wait, what is that video is crazy
Woody Overton
as it shows a car pulling in on this, on the street and then two cars come in from opposite directions. Like obviously they were waiting on it. They smash it and nobody can get out of that car. But then there's like seven dudes surrounded with machetes and they're just whacking the whole time and then the gunman shows up. So I'm just real quick. So nine men were jailed for more, for a total of more than 130 years for that horrifying assault on the group in Walsall with a gun, machete, knives, cricket bats and baseball bats. And it's all on CCTV footage that shows the five victims sitting in the parked car on a summer's night in July 2024 when the two other vehicles suddenly crashed into it. A shout of you lot up can be heard during the attack, which the detectives believe was a retaliation after one drug gang tried to muscle in on another's territory. And it's just crazy. The, the video is, is just shows you craziness. The two cars are seen tearing into the street without warning, smashed into the parked car front and back as it's boxed in and the men become trapped inside. Then again the night. So I was wrong. I said I counted seven, nine men then surrounded the vehicle in the darkness with their hoods and faces covered. And they began striking him with machetes, bats. And they look, they shared the glass. I don't know. I'm surprised nobody's dead. A gun is then raised and fired at point blank range into the car before the attackers run like. And one of the victims eventually manages to start the car and drive away. So they go to the hospital and they said they got out of the car, except for one of them had to lay on the ground because he couldn't even walk. And all the victims were found to have suffered serious and life changing slash or gunshot wounds requiring multiple surgeries. And one man was placed in an induced coma. 1. Once that victim woke up from his coma, he explains to the police that he was he's sat in the driver's seat initially when the vehicle was being attacked by the men but he then moved into the back of the car for safety and tried to crouch between the back seat wells because they were getting chopped to pieces. And the man told officer he recognized the voices some attackers and heard the shout of monkey Amar and another saying it's me Hazar. Yeah, that's you. Obviously that was instrumental in getting them convicted and the attack like I just told you about the video, the CCTV and police were initially given 27 names of suspects, but eight were eventually arrested and charged and detectives managed to identify them and use phone tracking to establish her movements and a ninth was arrested and charged at a later date. So nine people and anyway, I'm gonna leave you out with that for the day. The that's just like some pure intent to kill. I don't know. I don't know. Worldwide crime, planes, trains and automobiles. You get it all here. I love and appreciate each every one of y'. All. Thank you for liking and listening and sharing you the best fans in the world and love you. I'm Woody Overton, you host a True Crime time for this May 20th. I'll holler at you later. Peace.
