Foreign True Crime time for Tuesday, May 6, 2025 and I'm Woody Overton.
Cindy Overton
I'm Cindy Overton.
Woody Overton
And we have so much crime and so little time. But we're going to bring you stories from around the world and home and well, you never know what kind of story I'm bringing because we don't know what kind of story we're going to bring. But they're all interesting, I can tell you that. Yeah, from a true crime perspective. So love and appreciate each and every one of y'all. The live show and literally I didn't check the numbers in three weeks or whatever. I know there are some tickets still available. Southeastern Louisiana University Main Campus Student Union Theater Woody Overton on stage Raw and unscripted Old school, never before heard story. And it's going to be a packed house, but you can still get tickets, general admission or vip. There'll be alcohol and food sales ahead of time and throughout the show. And then afterwards we're having the VIP event and first drinks on me. Right? And everything is first class, y'all. Thank you to Southeastern for doing it. And they are handling all the ticket sales and all that. So just click on the links and. And go get them.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
Bless yourself.
Cindy Overton
That's right. Somebody sent me a message the other day. She said that she bought some tickets and her friend bought some tickets and then they thought about it and they were like, this is once in a lifetime opportunity, so to speak. And was not. I mean, but they were so excited. They're like, we're going to upgrade to vip. How do we do that? Was like, well, please contact Southeastern. They'll help you do that.
Woody Overton
But in the smart move, right? And we got lifers coming in from all over the United States already. And the. The have rooms at the discount at the home. Two suites by Hilton and US Place in Hammond. And Hammond is just a great town. We're going to have a lot of fun. We'll be there all weekend. So the. What do you have for us? Cindy Overton.
Cindy Overton
I have a sweet little love note. You want to hear it?
Woody Overton
Yes, I do.
Cindy Overton
You know, I truly love you. No matter what. That will never change. Love. Guess who signed it?
Woody Overton
Jesus.
Cindy Overton
An 11 year old student's teacher signed it.
Woody Overton
Wait a minute. It's time for F of professionals.
Cindy Overton
So the 11 year old's parents found this note.
Woody Overton
Nice.
Cindy Overton
And reported it and the teacher. And this is a girl that received this note.
Woody Overton
So was the teacher a male?
Cindy Overton
I'm assuming so. It doesn't disclose anything about the teacher because no formal charges have been brought up yet.
Woody Overton
All right.
Cindy Overton
Because the teacher immediately resigned. So the letter was found by the girl's parents and included the line that I just said, you know, I truly love you no matter what, that will never change. And was signed off with love followed by the teacher's name. The correspondence requested the student to keep the letter a secret. And the parents obviously were shocked and disturbed and handed the letter over to. I didn't say where we were. Manatee County, Florida. Yes.
Woody Overton
Pretty sure that's the only place in the US that has manatees.
Cindy Overton
Right. So Manatee County Sheriff Public Information Officer Randy Warren confirmed that a harassment charge related to bullying will soon be filed against the former teacher. Although the teacher's identity has not been disclosed. Due to the absence of formal charges. So we'll have more information on that later. But the school district took immediate action and initially the teacher was reassigned to a non instructional role with no student contact.
Woody Overton
That means they put him in a closet somewhere.
Cindy Overton
And then subsequently the district notified the Florida Department of Children and Families, the Manatee County Sheriff's Office and the Florida Department of Education Office of Professional Practices. So at least they reported all of it. And then following these notifications, the teacher chose to resign. And of course the incident has left students and family deeply upset. And the girl's father, and I'm surprised they named the girl's father. His name is Jason Mitchell. He expressed his distress stating that as a dad, where does your mind go and what can I legally. What can I do legally with this? You know like when you read the letter. So it just, I don't know, there's not a lot of information on the story yet that all that I said. But I can't imagine going up in WL's room and reading a letter or LA's room when he was 11 and reading a letter from. Or Sophie's or whoever. I can't imagine reading any of our. Whatever.
Woody Overton
Well, I agree with you and I can't imagine it either. I mean I can imagine it because I've actually read letters like that from pedophiles and cases, but could imagine the shock of a parent who's never had that experience before.
Cindy Overton
And you know, parents don't. I know back in my day I'd come home from school, I'd saved all my letters. You know, when we used to write.
Woody Overton
Letters we didn't have texting.
Cindy Overton
Students don't do that anymore. But I'd come home from school and I, I could tell my mama had gone through all of my letters that day.
Woody Overton
Well, that never happened to me is I never brought a book inside and my whole high school career I never studied for. You know what, we're just talking about the home. Two suites and you know, by Hilton for the live show and great hotel chain and all that. Well, you know, you check into your hotel room and usually if we don't, we're not gonna run downstairs and start having drinks. Then we might check in, we've been traveling and might catch a little nap. Right. And then go have dinner and do whatever and you know, you check in hotels and you think everything's gonna be okay and it's good and it's clean, the room smells good. Right? Right. All safe. Well, it's time for worldwide crime and this is a worldwide crime because I'm going to take you to Tokyo. And a lady named Natalisi Takasi, she was, she was on a solo trip to Tokyo and she checked in her hotel and. And you know, gonna do a little sightseeing and. And then so she said, you know what, the place looked legit with a key card that gave me access only to my floor and to my room. Right? Yeah. And she checked in the hotel room and everything was fine.
Cindy Overton
Right.
Woody Overton
On the first day.
Cindy Overton
Oh, gosh.
Woody Overton
All right. Then she goes out and she sightsees and in taking in the local culture and just enjoying her trip to Tokyo. Right?
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
Well, she got a little tired and she goes back to her room about 7:30pm and she's that key to get first to get on her floor and some of the nice hotels we stayed in and you got to have that. Right. Access to the elevator to that level. Right. And then she uses a key, checks into her room, no big deal. She goes in there and she's a young pretty lady. I got a picture. And she gets naked. She's a little tired. She'll catch a little nap, maybe go out and do a little Tokyo party later at night. She's laying her to bed naked and she noticed a weird smell.
Cindy Overton
That's not Woody Overton.
Woody Overton
No, you don't smell right. But she said, you know, I was just laying there and I smelled the smell and I first I thought it was coming from my hair, and then she said I sniffed my hair and wasn't my hair and I thought it was coming from the bed sheets. So I sniffed sheets and guess what? Wasn't the sheets. She said, then I realize it's coming from under the bed.
Cindy Overton
Oh, my gosh.
Woody Overton
Right. So what does she do? She does what we all do. Oh, no, you would have looked under the bed.
Cindy Overton
I would have got my booty up, got dressed and hauled out.
Woody Overton
You don't know what kind of smell it is. It's just a weird smell. Right.
Cindy Overton
I'm scared.
Woody Overton
It could have been a smell of a gold bar.
Cindy Overton
Biggest fear is something being underneath the bed. I check. I won't let my leg hang off the bed during the night because I'm afraid something's gonna reach out from underneath the bed.
Woody Overton
Well, now I'm about to scare the out of you because she looked under the bed and what did she see? A man's face, A pair eyes looking back at her.
Cindy Overton
Oh, my God.
Woody Overton
She said, I saw a man under my bed and I started to scream and I jumped to My feet. And the man climbed out from under the bed and stared at me for three seconds. She's butt naked.
Cindy Overton
How did you know it was three seconds? That would have been like three minutes in my world. I would have been, I would have been kicking and screaming.
Woody Overton
She said those seconds felt like my life was over. And she said the man then also screamed and he. And he ran out of the room. He. He ran like a little bitch. He screams, she screams, we all scream for ice cream, right? But he hauls ass out of the room, ran like a little bitch. And she, she says she screamed for help and she got the hotel staff and, and the police were called and when they look under the bed, what do you think they found?
Cindy Overton
A watch? I mean a wallet?
Woody Overton
Nope. They found a power bank and a USB cable under the bed. And the hotel said, well, we really cannot explain how the man ended there. And she said, I kept asking hotel, how did it happen? They didn't have an answer for me. Now this, she did a TikTok. I'm actually try to play this and you can edit it out if it doesn't work. But she said the video showing footage of what appeared to be a police officer in the room. She also said the hotel suggests the police wouldn't find the man due to the building having no cameras.
Cindy Overton
That makes no sense.
Woody Overton
Like the electronic capital of the world.
Cindy Overton
Over there, they have them at every. I mean.
Woody Overton
So she went on to say that after demanding a reimbursement for the hotel, she was eventually given a full refund. It's not funny. But it is funny as so. So she continues on saying how the following days, her trip were a nightmare. She said I couldn't sleep and I was constantly on edge, checking every corner of my room. So she went on say that she contacted the hotel again for compensation of $1600 for emotional damage, but they refused due to not being in their policy. And this, she shared a screenshot of the email that they sent her. She says, now I'm left wondering how someone can get into my room, how someone knew that I was alone in my room and how can the hotel not take responsibility for such a breach of safety? I am pretty sure if you were in the United States of America, the lawyers would be lining up to sue the F out of them or the hotels would be certainly doing something for you, like free rooms for life because.
Cindy Overton
You found pubic hair in your bed and nobody did anything except cover up stuff at that hotel.
Woody Overton
That is true. That wasn't pubic hair. It was a Ball softball size of pubic hair. Let's see if I get this play. All right.
Natalisi Takasi
I found a strange man under my bed in my hotel room. I booked my solo trip to Japan because I thought Japan is very safe country. I stayed in very well known chain hotel in Japan. Apa Hotel that is in Tokyo near Ryo Goku Tower. The place looked legit with a key card that allowed me access only to my floor and to my room. On the first day, everything was fine. The next day, after a day of sightseeing, I came back around 7:30pm, unlocked my room like usually, took off my clothes, lay down on the bed. And then I noticed a weird smell. At first I thought it was coming from my hair or the bed sheets. But then I realized it was coming from under the bed. Jokingly, I thought what if the dead probably person laying under the bed? But when I leaned over to check, I saw a pair of eyes staring at me. I saw Asian man under my bed. I started to scream and jumped on my feet. The man climbed out from under the bed and stared at me for three seconds. Those seconds felt like my life is over. Then he started to scream too and ran out from my room. I screamed for help and the hotel administration came and called the police. They found power bank and USB cable under my bed. I was kept asking the hotel how did it happen? And they didn't have any answer for me. Even more, they suggested up front that police won't find the intruder because they had no cameras. Feeling scared and unsafe, I moved to another hotel and demanded a full refund the next day. Next day, the original hotel didn't even contact me or send an email with report. When I reached out to Agoda, through which I booked the hotel, they offered me $178 in coupons, which was ridiculous compared to the $600 I paid for three nights. I called the hotel directly demanding a full refund and proper report by the evening. They agreed to refund my original payment. But the police couldn't identify the intruder. The next days of my trip were a nightmare. I couldn't sleep. I was constantly on edge, checking every corner of my room. I eventually wrote to the hotel demanding compensation for emotional damage, asking for $1,600. They refused, saying it wasn't in their policy. Now I'm left wondering how someone could get into my room, how someone knew that I'm alone in that room, and how the hotel can take responsibility for such a severe breach of safety. I want the story to be well known so the ABBA hotel take real action and travelers are more aware women.
Woody Overton

Woody Overton
There you go y'all. And straight from the mouth of babes. And I guess now you're going to be checking under the bed every hotel room we go in.
Cindy Overton
I guess.
Woody Overton
Yeah. I don't know what that chain is. I'm sure It's a Japanese chain or China or whatever the. That country is. But the voice has. That's fucking wild, man. You know, most. I. I don't. Mostly we say in Hilton's and stuff like that, but the. I don't know. A bed that's not all the way down to the floor.
Cindy Overton
Yeah, most of them are platform beds.
Woody Overton
Yeah.
Cindy Overton
Well, I remember a couple years ago when we had first gotten. Not this house in Watson, but the other house, and I did a Walmart delivery, is one of the first Walmart deliveries that we did, and we needed deodorant, and they delivered the wrong deodorant, but I needed it, so I used it. And that night when I went to bed, I'd roll over and smell something and you weren't home. It would freak me out because I'm not used to smelling that smell. And I was getting almost like her. I was getting up, looking at everything, and I was like, what the heck is that smell? And then I realized when I moved, I smelled. Smelled it, and it was the stupid Old Spice swagger.
Woody Overton
Well, they really screwed you when they sent you Old Spice.
Cindy Overton
I know, I know. But I was like, well, I'm not going. I mean, it was summer. I wasn't going. We had. You know, and I were mowing the.
Woody Overton
Yard and get a crazy, crazy story. And that hotel should be ashamed of themselves. So. But there you go. Give us something else.
Cindy Overton
That's a horrible.
Woody Overton
I mean, that's just true crime time for y'all.
Cindy Overton
For. I mean, because I love a woman that travels by themselves and does things and has that type of all, you know, autonomy, like, doing her own thing. So I don't know that.
Woody Overton
I wonder if I got any naked pictures of her.
Cindy Overton
You want naked pictures of it?
Woody Overton
I said, I wonder if he got any naked pictures ever. Stupid.
Cindy Overton
Because you want them.
Woody Overton
No, because that would be his. His reason for being under the bed. Charging his phone.
Cindy Overton
I know. That's so.
Woody Overton
All right, next story, maybe so.
Cindy Overton
Well, we're gonna do, like, a little bit of an update about the Kirkendall track student that.
Woody Overton
Oh, God. Yeah.
Cindy Overton
Frisco, Texas. Austin. Metcalf was stabbed. But there's been a lot of tension rising, I guess you could say, because of the Gofundme for the other family and all that. The.
Woody Overton
The other family being the dude that murdered?
Cindy Overton
Yes. The rallying around to support. And Anthony the murderer was arrested and charged with first degree murder. And he was initially held on a $1 million bond, but a judge later reduced it to $250,000. He should have increased it, but he cited Anthony's lack of prior criminal history and strong community ties. So he was released under house arrest. And conditions included 24. Seven adult supervision, an ankle monitor, and no contact with the Metcalf family. But Anthony's family launched a fundraiser in Give Send Go. I guess it's like a GoFundMe raising over 515,000. And the funds are intended to cover legal fees, relocation costs due to safety concerns and other related expenses. And the campaign has faced scrutiny, with some questioning the family's financial needs and the use of the funds. The Give Send Me Go co founder Jacob Wells acknowledged the controversy, but emphasized the platform's commitment to supporting individuals in difficult situations. But both families are saying we've both. We're the other side's got. We've been threatened too. Like, you know, we need to relocate as well. This isn't fair to us.
Woody Overton
You know. You know, people, I. And I maybe be getting this wrong, but people have asked us about GoFundMes on different things, but it was something back. Maybe it was during a Courtney Coco case or whatever. I don't remember when we looked into it. And they charged like a percentage or whatever. So GoFundMe's making bank and this dude's raised 500 some thousand dollars. Yeah, a half a million dollars. And you murdered a motherfucker. And everybody saw it. Yeah, right. And. But you got $500,000 out of support.
Cindy Overton
Carla Hayes expressed her family's distress over the situation and says whatever you think happened between Carmelo and the Metcalf boys, my three younger children, my husband and I didn't do anything to deserve to be threatened, harassed, and lied about.
Woody Overton
Okay? That's the. The guy that did the killings. While fucking people are stupid.
Cindy Overton
But what do you think about that? Because they didn't do it. But they are a product of them.
Woody Overton
I don't want to think about it.
Cindy Overton
Okay.
Woody Overton
All right. Fuck that dude. And. And he admitted to it. He's going to prison. Y'all can use some of that 500,000. Sending some zing Zings and zoo zoos. And he get some more ramen noodles from the commissary. He murdered someone. That dude certainly didn't ask to be murdered. Right Now I'm gonna take you to Florida and I'm gonna tell you. And it's time for effed up professionals. If you ever want to see Woody Overton mad beyond belief. And especially what I just went through with my daddy. And remember I told y'all he's on hospice and had 24 hour care. And first of all, hospice people were wonderful, absolute godsend angels. But I mean, long time before they came in. Daddy wasn't even home on hospice for a month. And he. And only. It was only where they had to really, really sedate him heavily and never woke up again for a couple days with the. You want to see Woody Overton kill a motherfucker and take him to murder by you. This story, I would do it. And in the state I'm in right now, if I was the cops working this story, I probably would be going to prison for murder myself. So we're going to Florida. All right? And you know, ring cameras, that's one of the things I did when my dad was home. I got some ring cameras. I put them up in the living area. Not because I didn't trust the 24 hour sitters he had. In that last week he had two 24 hour sitters because he could really move around and stuff. But the. I put them up just as a safety security measure and so I could. Because I couldn't be there all the time so I could watch it when I wasn't there more so I could see him. Not because I thought these ladies were doing anything wrong. But a Florida family put a ring camera in their 97 year old aunt's home. This happened in Homestead, Florida, y'all, which is Miami dade county. The 97 year old was in hospice care. Okay. And like with my father, hospice, in the end, the hospice nurse would come in every day, but they didn't do the 24 hour care. So. But this lady had some, some care, 24 hour care. And it was by name. Part of it was by a guy named Timothy Morrison. He's 66 years old. So the niece of this lady. And they didn't, they didn't name the victim or anything else in this case, and rightfully so. But she said that a hospice nurse notified her that they had found an unspecified discharge around the victim's private area. Oh, this old lady. Okay. And so that's when the victim's niece installed the ring camera in the victim's bedroom. And on the afternoon of Wednesday, April 30, the niece was alerted to someone's presence in the room. And I used to get the same thing. You get the movement or whatever, you can turn it off. Sensitivity of the camera. Well, she reviews the footage from the camera and she saw the 66 year old Morris raping her aunt. This according to the police report. The. I mean if you could Imagine more horrible thing. I don't know what it would be. But the investigators say the victim was in the hospice care where Morris would often assist with her care. And when the hospice staff wasn't there, Morris raped the lady. All right, she was non verbal and bed written. And Kenya, I pray to God that. I pray to God. She was so heavily sedated, she didn't, she didn't know what was going on. But it doesn't make it any less horrible. 97 year old non verbal bedridden woman raped by this monster who I would put a bullet between his eyes. No, that's too good for him. I would take an ice pick and stab him 150,000 times. And if I had access, I'd drag him to Angola and let him rape him to death. So anyway, course they arrested his and he's being held without bond.
Cindy Overton
I mean, he had gotten so. He didn't even care. Like he left his stuff. Yeah, down there.
Woody Overton
Yeah.
Cindy Overton
He's like, I don't. I mean that's how blatant. Like not even trying to conceal it.
Woody Overton
Well, I mean, we don't know if he's trying to conceal or not. Cindy, we know he was raping her. I know, but he's probably. Like I always say, prison is full of dummies. He probably wasn't thinking about it. Yeah, maybe he wasn't smart enough to think about it. Doesn't matter. He raped a 97 year old lady. And thank God they called her a ring camera. And you know the, the hostage people, God bless them, I love them. Thankfully they reported it. Yeah, something was there, but they didn't even. They didn't know it was firm.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
So you, Mr. Morris, you.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
All right, next.
Cindy Overton
How do you, how do you compose yourself to do Next we're gonna go to Venice Beach, California.
Woody Overton
Venice beach. Maybe lifting some weights and on the boardwalk.
Cindy Overton
I know, but somebody was lifting something and it was a few drinks into his mouth before he got behind the wheel of a car. Okay, so on April 27, 2025, in Venice beach, it turned into a scene of a devastating incident. Jen Le grand. And she. I never heard her name before, but I know that she was a celebrity hairstylist. She was known for working with stars like Selena Gomez, Christy Teigen, Kylie Jenner. And she was struck.
Woody Overton
Kylie Jenner. Bruce Jenner.
Cindy Overton
Bruce Jenner's daughter.
Woody Overton
Okay.
Cindy Overton
Yeah, he's Caitlyn.
Woody Overton
Fuck him.
Cindy Overton
Okay.
Woody Overton
He was on the Wheaties box when I was a kid, but when, you.
Cindy Overton
Know, as a man. But it was Struck by a drunk driver while walking along the Abbot Kinney Boulevard.
Woody Overton
Yeah, that's, that's a big deal. They wrote. Yeah, show off your bod and walk up and down, catch a little sun, watch all the people. Yeah, so she's walking along and she.
Cindy Overton
Gets a drunk driver when it's horrible because it left her and she's a hairstylist and it left her with severe injuries. And one of the major injuries was a fractured vertebrae in her neck and then a critically damaged arm. And obviously she has to use her arms to do her job. So a GoFundMe page has been organized by her friend and fellow hairstylist and just hoping that it can help her during her recovery and which will involve multiple surgeries and at least a year of rehab. So she has to have nerve replacement surgery and nerves from her legs were used to repair her arm nerves. And so that means that she will now, because she had to affect her legs to help her arms, she'll now be in a wheelchair for some time and undergo physical therapy. So the hairstyling community has rallied around her. And I'm going to get this name the for San Francisco 49ers. Kyle Justkowski. Yeah, he's a great player. His wife has really rallied around Kristin. She's also a fashion designer and she's expressed her support on social media and described Jen as the most amazing person and incredibly talented hair artist. And so as of April 30, the GoFundMe campaign had raised over 54,000 and the goal was 60,000. And they, like I said before, aim to cover Jen's extensive medical bills, therapy sessions and living expenses during her recovery period. So that's just, you know, you're just strolling along on the boulevard and get struck by a car, someone wants to drink and drive. Just very sad and affects her whole life, but forever, Forever.
Woody Overton
Plan on flying.

Woody Overton
So don't wait. Find out how to get your Real ID@tsa.gov RealID that's tsa.gov RealID or visit your local DMV and then you'll be cleared for takeoff. That's, you know, I don't know. It's stupid and sucks. So. Well, where's the happiest place on earth according to commercials. I wish we were back there. The. Well, let's go to. According to the Commercials. The happiest place on our Disney World. In particular, the Magic Kingdom. So we'll go there. But a guy named Dustin Lee Wallace has already been there. And he decided to go into Magic Kingdom. He's carrying his wallet with him. Okay, you know that is expensive, right? But I'm pretty sure you still gotta have money out of your wallet to pay for that. Well, maybe this guy didn't know about it because he was definitely carrying his wallet. And. And inside his wallet, it was full of cocaine.
Cindy Overton
Oh, well.
Woody Overton
And he was trying to sneak it into the Magic Kingdom. So Dusty Lee Wallace, who's 44, he tried to do that and his ass got arrested.
Cindy Overton
Good.
Woody Overton
And he was charged with possession of cocaine. And of course he pled not guilty. But it said around 5:20pm on March 29, Wallace and his son, you know, necessary like wallet full of cocaine.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.

They were at the Magic Kingdom bus loop security checkpoint when they entered the security guards line and were scanned with a metal detector. The scanner then set off an alert about Wallace's back pocket. Right. And this according to the statement the sheriff's office got from the Disney security officer. And better believe they're out there everywhere in plain clothes and probably some more Mickey suits and shit. But anyway, so they scanning the dude and how sad is it you got to be much less schools and hospitals. Everything we talk about now courtroom. But you're going to Disneyland. Yeah, you got to be scanned for weapons and shit. But anyway, here we go. Security then asked Wallace, hey dude, we need you to empty out your pockets. And Wallace got a little fucking nervous and he did it. And the security officer opened his bulky wallet. Which y'all for the record, I don't care. A wallet? No, my cards are in my phone and very seldom carry cash. But the he looks in the bulky wallet and found a bag of powdery white substance. Now this is security. I'm pretty sure they were happy to see some shit like that have some real police work. But this security then told Wallace to leave the park and warned him not to return to any Disney parks, hotel or property. Yeah, strange, right? But after a field test came back positive for cocaine, security then called the sheriff's office and told him, Mr. Wallace, now deputies from Orange County Sheriff's office arrived at the Magic Kingdom and they took a statement from Wallace who said he had been using cocaine for approximately one month because of the stress of his job. He gets stressed out. You get stressed out in podcasts and we just snort some meth right here on the table. Hold on. All right, the. Okay, well, just. We'll shoot it up. We'll bang it. So Wallace, who has diarrhea of the mouth, admitted to police that he put cocaine in his wallet and was attempting to bring it inside the Disney Park. Well, you know what happened then? They arrested his ass and they booked him in the jail. Mr. Wallace, sir, you're a idiot. That would be a mama question. Oh, that's right. Dad, you up my trip. Yeah, say that's what is mom to make her Daddy, you've been promised me.
Cindy Overton
I know you always think you don't know where I'm coming from us.
Woody Overton
Oh, daddy, you promised to take me to last week.
Cindy Overton
Last time you were on, you said I had the dumbest comment.
Woody Overton
And you got a bag cocaine. And at least the security have no power to detain him when a pretty sure. Well, he could have said, you don't look at my wallet. And they would just told me, you can't come in the park. Yeah, right. But he let him look at his wallet. So first of all, he's a million.
Cindy Overton
Gold nuggets in the world to sell.
Woody Overton
Then he lets my DM and he knows he's got cocaine in his wallet. And they were like, they don't know it's cocaine yet, but they're suspecting it's cocaine. They were like, get the out of our property. Don't ever come back to any of our properties. Kind of like a Walmart. Right? Don't ever come back to any of your properties. But then, you know, of course, they got to make a report to law enforcement because they don't know what to do with the white powder. It could have been fentanyl, could have been meth. It could have been whatever. And they test it, and now they got this thing. And then all he had to do is shut up when it came. But he had diarrhea. The mouth. Yeah. Well, I can tell you one thing. It's no longer the happiest place on earth for him or his son. That place I ain't never going back. Been there, done that. Don't have the T shirt. It was too long ago.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
So anyway, let me see if I can find something.
Cindy Overton
Really. When we finally get this video, y'all will actually see the faces that he makes at me. And it's like. Like a Cindy face. Your mouth, your jaw drops.
Woody Overton
So this y'all is a.
Cindy Overton
But I'm saying that's what it would have taken to get me to give up a child is you would have had to cast a spel on me if you truly believe in that. I don't believe, but.
Woody Overton
So Jocelyn Smith, I wouldn't have taken any amount of money, right? She was six years old, y'all.
Cindy Overton
I'm serving her time but the healer needs to do some time too.
Woody Overton
It's time for worldwide crime. We're in Africa.
Cindy Overton
Oh gosh.
Woody Overton
The land of everything, right? Six year old. Six years old. And she went missing in South Africa last year, 2024. She is yet to be found. But the South African mother and two others got in trouble. They got arrested and finally they went to trial and guess what? They were just now convicted on Friday on kidnapping and trafficking. Wait, this is not a normal kidnapping, trafficking story which we are going to start bringing y'all the series about trafficking. But they got convicted on Friday of kidnapping and trafficking charges after the authorities say she sold her daughter to a local healer who wanted the six year old child for her eye and skin color. I'm about to you up. Listen to this. So it was reported by the Reuters and everybody else that Kelly Smith was convicted on Friday, May 2nd of trafficking her six year old daughter, Jocelyn Smith, I told you about. So then. Then the BBC also reported that Smith's boyfriend, Jaqueen Apollos and the couple's friends Steveno Van Ryme were also found guilty of the kidnapping and trafficking charges relating to Joshua's disappearance. But a neighbor testified in the Smith trial that shortly before Jocelyn Bannis, the mother had confided in her about plans to sell her daughter to a traditional healer who wanted her for her eyes and skin. Now the course, you know, the mom and the other two assholes denied any involvement. But Smith's neighbor, Lorenzo Lombard testified during trial the mother told her she did something silly and sold my child to a sangama. The healer, healer people. And she. Lombard then told the court the Smith offered money to her and others who knew about the plan to sell Jocelyn in exchange for silence, try to rob him. The outlet reported the Joshua's teacher also testified during trial, telling the court that she inquired about where Jocelyn had been and that Smith told her she was on a ship inside a container and they were on the way to West Africa. I guess you got to get this from South Africa to West Africa by ship. I don't know. Yeah. Well. The BBC had previously reported that a woman who was believed to be a healer had been arrested and questioned during the search for Josh, but was later released because of lack of evidence. So they said that Smith broke into tears when her guilty verdict was read. As others in the courtroom began applauding the court's decision. And they're facing life in prison. So here's the real skinny of it. You know, they got voodoo is more out of the Caribbean, but you know, everybody's got their own shit, what they believe in, what have you. But this healer evidently needed for a specific ritual, right? The specific color of this little girl, six year old girl's eyes and skin. And it's believed that the mama sold her to the healer, the healer killed her, cut off her skin, cut out her eyes and use it in the different rituals that people would pay her for. That's some up.
Cindy Overton
That's just.
Woody Overton
And yeah, I can only hope. I can imagine that life in prison in Africa is pretty shitty. But I pray that baby girl, I hope that healer knocked her out before she skinned her lie or didn't skin or killed her and skinned her and used her eyes and I mean, come on, man. I wonder if that. I don't. I think that's probably the dumbest comment you've ever made. Really? Yeah, that one might be dumber. Why would she need to do it? She probably. In my mind, the healer is walking around, sees a little kid, approaches the mom and says, I'll give you probably more money she's ever seen in her life. And it could have been just a nut gold nugget. And the mom's like, okay, I'll sell her. Yeah, you and every. You and every other same person in the. In the world. This is off her rocker and she deserves a death penalty. I'm not even going to ask Siri did they have the death penalty. But you better believe they probably ate this little girl, ingested her and all that and whatever potions and everything in sin. And I wish the healer well. You know what hell. The hell is. Hell is hot. Little Josh, we know you're in heaven. Whatever having you believed in, hopefully you had some of that knowledge. But if you didn't, I know you're in heaven and fuck them. And I don't mean y'all when I say that dumbest statement ever to send me. And I usually would joke about other things in our life. I'd be like, that's dumb or whatever. I know you don't like the words. So I don't mean to be negative on you. The. The. My brain. This is why you and I are good together on this. Because my brain fires totally different than yours. Yeah, yours comes from like the weirdest places that then when you say what you say my brain's like dumbfounded but. And most people wouldn't. Right.
Cindy Overton
We need to follow.
Woody Overton
What'S going to happen to the healer. Hell is hot. Yeah. And if she doesn't get it on this earth, she'll get it in in the next life.
