Woody Overton
Hello, everybody, and welcome to this episode of True Crime. Time for Wednesday, September, September 10, 2025. And I'm Woody Overton.
Cindy Overton
I'm Cindy Overton.
Woody Overton
And we are ready to bring you some news. Right?
Cindy Overton
Yes.
Woody Overton
That's what we do. Yes. Crime news. Crime stuff, y'. All. Hashtag justice for Bradley. Hashtag just for AO. Just Ms. Barbara Blunt. And hashtag justice for Haley is coming, y'. All. Continue calling your tips, if you can use a tip line because we get them from everywhere, right?
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
Your phone, my phone, all different social media accounts like messenger and stuff like that. And, and I mean, sometimes we don't even see them or we don't. If we don't know who you are and you call on our personal phones, we're not answering.
Cindy Overton
Right.
Woody Overton
And then two today, not the one you sent me.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
Another one I had on my phone just now. It's like a minute and a half long and I couldn't understand it.
Cindy Overton
Exactly. Yeah.
Woody Overton
So y', all, that's why the tip.
Cindy Overton
Line is set up. It just helps us with the organization and helps you get heard.
Woody Overton
Yeah, yeah. And it's a lot of stuff happening, y'. All. And, and of course we are, you know, waiting on the public information request on, on Brad, on. Not on Bradley from the Vernon Parish Sheriff's Office about their non disclosure agreements and a lot of other stuff. But the case is being worked and, and thank you for everyone who's called in your tips. We appreciate it.
Cindy Overton
Absolutely. So we just want injustice.
Woody Overton
Right? Right.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
It's still a lot and, and so, but it is being worked and people are scared over there.
Cindy Overton
And we also have. If you're afraid for your voice or whatever, I, I don't know. But we also have the email tips. Real life, real crime dot com.
Woody Overton
Right. And then, yeah, all the people I talk to want to remain anonymous. Know they're anonymous. And if you want to remain anonymous and you want to say something that we can use, we can change your voice.
Cindy Overton
We've done. You've done that.
Woody Overton
Yeah.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
So that's, that's what I have to say about that. It was cool last night.
Cindy Overton
So cool.
Woody Overton
You got to open the doors and nice that time of the year. But let's get down to some true crime time for this Wednesday.
Cindy Overton
Okay. Going to talk about how the FBI actually stopped a potential preschool massacre.
Woody Overton
Really? You know, you never hear about all the ones that they stopped.
Cindy Overton
And you had said the other day you wanted to do like a good show, right? Like the positive stuff. So. FBI Director Cash Patel said his agents stopped a potential tragedy after arresting a North Carolina man who threatened made an online threat to massacre dozens of. And this is how it says in this day and age, you're afraid to say the word but it's black children at a preschool. It is what it is. I mean I hate that it's a hate crime. Zachary Charles newell, who is 25 years old of Newport was arrested Monday and is charged with interstate threat to kidnap or injure, according to the criminal complaint filed on September 2 in the Eastern district of North Carolina. This is a quote from Patel. Threats of violence against children are beyond unacceptable acts of cowardice. And the FBI worked very quickly with the partners Carteret county to ensure this individual was taken into custody before he could act. Parents should know we will never, never hesitate to report, to respond with urgency to protect their kids, their schools and their communities, Patel added. Prosecutors alleged Newell posted a comment on YouTube under the username Commentators Hate Me and that the comment was made on August 27 stating his intention was to shoot up in quotes a preschool, injuring or killing 20 black children, among other violent and racist threats. So here's a picture of the person that was arrested.
Woody Overton
Nice.
Cindy Overton
I don't know if you can see it on the tube on the yt. The day before this man posted another vicious racial related comment under the same account which included a number of racial slurs and Google, Google LLC is the one that reported the threats to the FBI. So shout out to Google for paying attention to that. So the FBI's National Threat Operations center on August 31st linked the commentators Hate Me account to the email registered to Newell and all associated phone numbers and addresses. So that was able enabled them to have a swift response.
Woody Overton
Well, you would hope all these different platforms have some some way to monitor all the keyboard warriors throwing threats and even I mean if they're going to actually do it or not bust their ass.
Cindy Overton
Right? And sheriff's deputy's went to the home because they had the address and Newell admitted to making the YouTube comment and then they had the search warrant that was executed at his Home. And he was initially charged in state court with communicating a threat of mass violence on educational property.
Woody Overton
Pretty sure that's not a charge you want to catch nowadays, especially with anniversary 911 come up tomorrow.
Cindy Overton
Right, right. And then later on, the FBI took him in under federal charges. So we'll see what happens. It goes on. You know, a lot more about explaining how the process is and things like that, but that's the juice.
Woody Overton
Well, today you just showed a picture of a beautiful young man. Let me show you a picture of another beautiful man before we get started. Isn't it nice? No. Reach out for YouTube. This guy has a face only a mama could love. And he's Ted it up. He's got like I'm. Zoom in on that. He's got a star, big star under his left eye, different tats on his neck and another big tat on the other side of his face. And I wonder what made him think that was a good idea. And he's 50 years old.
Cindy Overton
I know, right?
Woody Overton
So we're going to Brighton, Colorado, and a 50 year old man faces multiple charges after he was already facing a bunch of charges. But I'll explain that in a minute. But this, this is more serious. After a 32 year old pregnant woman was found deceased inside an abandoned vehicle. I know. Here we go. Right? All right, so the Brighton police department discovered the body of Kelly Cough with an apparent gunshot wound on the morning of August 29th. Now, of course they're going to do an investigation and they did that. And they identified James, Jamie or Jaime Benavidez as the primary suspect. Now, according to police Cough, the victim may have been associated with Benavide des. And he faces charges of first degree motor vehicle theft, first degree murder, unlawful termination of a pregnancy, possession of a weapon by a previous offender, and habitual domestic violence offender. So he didn't. Let me check out Colorado. I think they have it right. Nope, Colorado doesn't have the death penalty. So Ben Videz was arrested the day before Kyle's body was found on unrelated charges involving an attempted robbery, pursuit, attempted homicide of officers. Yeah, he's just a. Anyway, in that case, he tried to rob a man's vehicle at a gas station and the gunshot was fired during the struggle. That's according to kcnctv. The owner of the car suffered minor injuries and Benavidez fled on a bike.
Cindy Overton
So he.
Woody Overton
Right. Yeah. That's his mode of transportation, I guess, to all his criminal endeavors. So benefit then stole a vehicle because he got tired of his bike from a business in a pursuit And a pursuit in the sea. He didn't want to be in a vehicle pursuit on a bicycle. Right.
Cindy Overton
Reminds me of peewee her.
Woody Overton
We. We did that one time. The dude took off on the bike and we just rode up and opened the door and. And he fell off his bike.
Cindy Overton
He just happened to fall off his bike.
Woody Overton
So Benavidez then stole that vehicle from the business and a pursuit ensued. And he then fired shots at the cops that were pursuing him. Okay. He hidden some of them, but no officers were harmed. So hit some of their vehicles, police fired back and Benavidez stopped. And then he was taken into custody because he's a little bitch.
Cindy Overton
Lucky he's alive.
Woody Overton
Yeah. Well, you know what? The. They don't have any more information on the. The murdered pregnant lady, but it's not looking good for Mr. Star underneath your left eye. Yeah, Bit of E does. James, honey. But except for Colorado doesn't have a death penalty.
Cindy Overton
Right.
Woody Overton
So there you have it. I don't know.
Cindy Overton
When we tell stories sometimes we often like, say like you just said, like, that's an older man. I mean, he's 50 or.
Woody Overton
Yeah, he's younger than.
Cindy Overton
Right.
Woody Overton
He said almost six years younger than me.
Cindy Overton
But you think, you look at this little. Well, not that this particular guy, but just old people and you think they couldn't be a criminal. Like, but if you're a lifelong criminal, you don't care if you're 70 years old, you're still going to be thinking like a criminal. 60 and go, oops, I'm going to be good.
Woody Overton
The habitual offender means he's been to president at least two times before.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
So, you know, in keeping this theme that we're making up today. Look at this lovely man. Oh, you too. See, I got to watch the Chicago Bears play the Minnesota Vikings on Monday Night Football. First Monday Night Football of the game this the year game. First Monday Night Football game this year. Right. And they honored at halftime my all time favorite football team, the 1985 Chicago Bears. The Bears. Right. And guess what year big man's going to be there. Or he was.
Cindy Overton
Perry. They were all, how come you didn't call me?
Woody Overton
Listen to me. The guess what year anniversary is like 500. The 40th. The 40th. And. But, you know, I. Y' all have heard me say how much we love Chicago. And I actually did get to bring Cindy and Wl Chi Town. Loved it. Hate the violence that's going down there. Now, I will not go back to get it straight. But I mean, seeing all the City at nighttime and, you know, everything. The bean that we stood underneath and everything else. I love that place, man. But we're going to Chicago. And Kathleen Miles, who's a mother to 11 and grandmother to seven, lives in the northern Chicago suburb of Lake Villa. And she's been working down in the downtown area, which we love, the Chicago neighborhood known as the Loop. We've stayed there. She's been working there for 20 years. All right. On August 19, Miles told the station she was walking to a train. This WLSTV is reporting this. She told the station she was walking to a train with a co worker along West Washington Avenue when a stranger, the sky just shaped, walked up and punched her in the face. And just a random attack. Yeah, no reason. I'm just gonna walk up and look. If she's been working downtown for 20 years, she's a mother of 11.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
Grandmother is seven. We'll assume she's about our age.
Cindy Overton
Right, right, right.
Woody Overton
But. And anyway, the. There's the. She said it's 20, 25 and he's out. And if he had been held accountable for his actions, then I wouldn't be sitting here with injuries. And I'll get to it in a second. Right. The, the.
Cindy Overton
So it was targeted.
Woody Overton
Was targeted by his asshole. But he's already been in jail. But I'm explaining it. Okay, so Miles recalled to WLS that the culprit hit me with such force so much that it knocked her out. What kind of man are you? You know, you don't even know this old lady and you're gonna just knock her out because you could. The next thing Miles says she remembered was waking up in a hospital as her co worker was standing above her saying, you've been assaulted. And she didn't even know because she got knocked the out. She then passed out again and said that she came to and recalled her daughter saying, hi, mama, I'm here. You're okay. Now, her co worker that was with her told her that a male came between the two of them, shoved them apart and hit her in the face. That's the punch that left Miles not only knocked out with several broken facial bones and a concussion.
Cindy Overton
What the.
Woody Overton
Right, so, I mean, he did. I'm sure he had time in prison. Yeah, yeah, yeah. To work out.
Cindy Overton
Yeah, yeah.
Woody Overton
So police told the local WLS that Miles was attacked by 32 year old William Livingston. And did you know there's an online cannabis company that ships federally legal THC right to your door? They said Livingston was charged with two felony counts of aggravated battery public place a felony count of aggravated battery slash great bodily harm and a misdemeanor count of reckless conduct slash bodily harm harm. Now WGN said Livingston was arrested the same day of the attack in Cook County Jail records indicate Livingston was booked on August 21st. So police said that his detention hearing also took place on August 21st. And jail records also indicated indicate he's behind bars with no bond and his next hearing is in September. But then they they researched right? And the records and they have third teen mug shots of Livingston going back to 2012. And a large number of those arrests were for aggravated assault and battery of both women and police officers. Why the he getting out? That's what they're the whole point of this article is he's a thug. Yeah, he's out for whatever reason and he's just knocking on repeat old women out. Grandma's out.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
So. But listen to this. Here's a brief rundown of Livingston's violence over the last eight years since According to WS, in 2017, he's accused of randomly attacking two women months apart and both cases were dropped. In 2022, Livingston was sentenced to five years in prison after prosecutors said he punched and attempted to rob four women within 20 minutes in the loop. He's running down the street just punching and robbing them. In 2023, while on parole because he didn't stay in jail for a year, Livingston was arrested for hitting a woman in the face on North Michigan Avenue, which we've been on. Yeah, right. And in 2024, Livingston was sentenced to 100 days in prison after he punched a 15 year old girl, also on North Michigan Avenue.
Cindy Overton
Well, what do you have to do 100 days?
Woody Overton
This. Look at his history.
Cindy Overton
It's a vacation.
Woody Overton
So.
Cindy Overton
Well, he's got a gym, got three meals and a car.
Woody Overton
Right.
Cindy Overton
He's on vacation.
Woody Overton
Every time they let him out, he does the same.
Cindy Overton
That's what I'm saying.
Woody Overton
You go hit four.
Cindy Overton
There's no reason.
Woody Overton
In 20 minutes.
Cindy Overton
No.
Woody Overton
And steal their. So that's why you can't walk down the street anymore. It used to be the, they protected the, the. The tourism area. Yeah, so they said. In regard to 22, 2022 attack, WGN's video broadcast shared a mugshot of Livingston that matches a mugshot Blaze News located on Chicago Police Department's website for the same attack. Police said Livingston was arrested at 12:26pm on February 8, 2022, after being identified as the individual who struck and attempted to take personal property from multiple female victims within minutes of each other. That's the four and 20 minutes. And he was charged with four felon accounts of aggravated battery slash public place. Same charge he got now two felony counts of aggravated attempted robbery and one misdemeanor count of battery slash making physical contact. The. I mean, one of the victims, Cammie schmidt, who's a DePaul University student, described the random attacks against her and three other women that day. She said, I felt a hand in my pocket. I and turned my head like that. And there was a man directly in front of me and he punched me directly in the face. We made eye contact and like he just had pure hate in his eyes. Just anger, pure anger. And anyway, so like again, Miles, our most recent victim, she said it's 2025 and he's out. And again, if he had been held accountable for his actions and I wouldn't be sitting here with the injuries, so. And she said despite the trauma she suffered, she will be at his hearing.
Cindy Overton
Good for her.
Woody Overton
It's crazy. What does the world come to, man? I mean, let me tell you some consequences. The. I'm not saying I'm not throwing because we got love for Chicago. It's not throwing love shade on their governor or whatever. The puts Enough is enough. D. Yeah, I mean when you get seriously, you go into Walgreens and everything's locked up.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
And in the high tourist area, you got to get an employee to come unlock chapstick. That's because people just walking in and walking out with stuff.
Cindy Overton
I know. And we've gotten flagged before because people were like, well, I was just in Chicago and I had a great visit. I didn't have anything. Well, good for you.
Woody Overton
Thank goodness for you that you run across the state.
Cindy Overton
Yeah, but I mean, obviously statistics don't lie. Numbers don't lie. It's there.
Woody Overton
It's just sad.
Cindy Overton
If you didn't experience and by the grace of the.
Woody Overton
I mean, welcome to me and hit me, you better hope you knock me out because I'm gonna fill you full of.
Cindy Overton
That's why he attacks a 50 year old.
Woody Overton
Yeah, I know. It's always going to happen. I mean, it's crime. But it just seems like it's so senseless and stupid. The. I mean, but really, this guy, man, how many robberies do you have to commit? Knocking people out and robbing them before they send you away? Give you more than 100 days in.
Cindy Overton
Jail, Maybe a murder.
Woody Overton
Oh, that's coming next. They gonna let him out again? Next time he's gonna kill him. Yeah, like that kid juvenile I had on cell block doing juvie life way back when. I know I've told this story before. He was in for carjacking and they got it. And then the. On his release date, I was getting the. And getting ready to release him. I said, I said, what you gonna do when you get out, juvenile? We're kind of cool. He was, he was all right. And he said. He said, I'm gonna do the same. Yeah, he's going back to your orals. I said, I'm gonna do the same. I said, what do you mean? He said, but I'm doing a little different this time. I said, how about what you. He said, I'm gonna kill the. I ain't leaving no eyewitnesses. Yeah, and guess what? He did it.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
It wasn't three months later. He shot a dude while carjacking. Yeah, so. And he's in Angola. Gee, there you go. Anyway, give us some love. Give us another story. What we got? We hadn't had any theme music or anything.
Cindy Overton
Worldwide crime.
Woody Overton
Let's do some work. It's time for worldwide crime. Where in the world are we going today?
Cindy Overton
Well, we're going to something that is the polar opposite on the scale of crime prevention than Chicago is. What place do you think it is? It's A place that I would love to go and you would never want to go. The bougie of bougie places.
Woody Overton
Oh, oh, Dubai. Yes, Dubai. I don't need to go over there. I mean, they look props to them dudes for being so rich that they made all these 7, 8, 9th, 10th wonders of the world out of the desert because they know one day the oil is going to run out. And now you can go in the desert and ski on an indoor mountain. Right? And they make all these islands and. Yeah, I mean, they did great ship, but I ain't never going there.
Cindy Overton
Yeah, well, you know, there's the Real Housewives of Dubai.
Woody Overton
That's where I get all of my education. There we go. Now the truth comes out. Are they doing any pagan on this show?
Cindy Overton
No, there's no Pagan. Only on Hunting Wives.
Woody Overton
If you don't know what pagan is, you need to look it up.
Cindy Overton
Don't look it up if you don't know what it is. Save yourself and don't look it up.
Woody Overton
What show is the pagan one?
Cindy Overton
Hunting Wives.
Woody Overton
Well, that should be a crime.
Cindy Overton
And she's pegging the sheriff.
Woody Overton
I understand that this should be a crime.
Cindy Overton
So we have a British student who will be serving a life sentence in Dubai for drug smuggling.
Woody Overton
Oh, you don't want to get around. It's not like people don't do drugs in Dubai. I mean, or drink alcohol. You're not supposed to. But I worked a vehicle or homicide case. A dude ran over the dude on the bicycle outside of the gates lsu and he then went to his buddy's house and said, hey. Oh, he wrecked the car. And he had to walk to his buddy's house and was like. Woke him up, can you come help me go get my car? And he just thought, he ran off in the ditch, whatever. And he said as he pulled up, he sees a car up on the levee with the lights on. He sees shit all in rose, like, what'd you hit? He said, I didn't hit anything. And he was like you because he was in his company work, so he's like you, I'm going back to the house.
Cindy Overton
Right?
Woody Overton
And then turned out he ran over a guy and killed him. Now they charge that guy and, and the guy from Dubai and we, we got the, you know, went in and met with the. The prosecutor, everything, and, and got the charges the dropped against our guy. But he's gonna be the witness to testify against. Against that guy. Well, guess what he did. The guy that's won it. He got on a private his daddy from Dubai sent him a private jet and picked his ass up and he's got a murder warrant in Louisiana and they'll never get him.
Cindy Overton
Yep.
Woody Overton
Well, and he was. Oh, he was doing, he was on coke. Yeah, he was doing cocaine. I do. That's my point.
Cindy Overton
So on the show when they're talking like in. And the, the point of you know, Real Housewives is drama. Right. And so the.
Woody Overton
Oh you think?
Cindy Overton
So the girls will get into arguments and stuff and, and the men, because they're housewives, they have husbands and so they all get together in groups.
Woody Overton
Well, because some housewives have a husband.
Cindy Overton
Because some of the housewives like one whole housewife franchise, I don't think any of actually married anymore. But anyway, that's besides the point. So these, when the couples get together and something gets heated, the husbands are always making sure that the women are not like saying cuss words. One time they took an argument outside and the husbands are out there going, you need to get inside. Like you can't argue, you can't say foul words. You know what I mean? That's very, very strict over there. Women aren't allowed to wear certain things, et cetera.
Woody Overton
So anyway, shower law, whatever it's called, it's a totally different world.
Cindy Overton
This is the beautiful girl that's going to now be spending life in prison.
Woody Overton
She almost looks like Sophia.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
Her daughter show the tube.
Cindy Overton
So Maya O', Brien, she's 23 year old British law student and she's been sentenced to 25 years in prison in Dubai after being convicted of drug charges. Her mother said so. I don't know why the title says life sentence, but I don't know. She was arrested in October when police found her with 50 grams of cocaine in her apartment. And her mom said that she.
Woody Overton
What was she doing in Dubai?
Cindy Overton
I have no idea.
Woody Overton
I know she wasn't working at a strip club.
Cindy Overton
We'll probably find out why. But her mom said that she pleaded not guilty. But she was still convicted following a one day hearing on July 25. The mother of the MIA said her daughter was in a living hell and claimed that she did not receive a fair trial. She's in a foreign country, she's going to get a trial the way they do a trial, you know, you don't.
Woody Overton
Get the same benefit. Yeah, it's not American motherfucker.
Cindy Overton
This is a British person. She's not going to get British trial. She's not going to. So she now gets.
Woody Overton
Yeah, I mean I can't go to Dubai and get Arrested and say, I want to be prosecuted under New Orleans law. That's why I was walking down the street. What, open container drinking beer?
Cindy Overton
Exactly. Yeah. I wanted to choose, like.
Woody Overton
Yeah.
Cindy Overton
So that was the only. Going back to. That's my only weird thing for me, going to New Orleans so much. When we were in Chicago, we couldn't just walk out the restaurant with. With our drinks. Like, it just seems so weird to me.
Woody Overton
People would get blown away when they come down here. You just walk around, drink or drive through decor shops and everything else.
Cindy Overton
Right. So she now faces a life sentence because of their notoriously strict prison system. And she has 100,000. I guess it's Euro fine. While her family is trying to pursue an appeal. The mother says she's absolutely devastated. Mia feels she's been. Her life has been destroyed, and she really wanted to be a lawyer and mother.
Woody Overton
Cocaine in your apartment, and you got to. You get busted, you're going to jail.
Cindy Overton
Exactly. I mean, how is your life destroyed? Because you made a poor. You made a poor decision to have.
Woody Overton
50 grams of cocaine. You made a super poor decision. It's not. If you had 50 grams of cocaine in England or the US you'd be out on bonds.
Cindy Overton
Right.
Woody Overton
Or get a slap on the wrist, probation. Or you're in Chicago. They might give you a fucking medal for it. Or wherever in the United States. You're in Dubai.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
You're there for a reason. And I imagine she looks like that she's getting paid some high money to do something.
Cindy Overton
And so the. The mom that's talking in this says that Mia's going to have to serve 25 years behind bars. And she said the trial was all in Arabic. And Mia was told of the sentence later by her lawyer. So Mia couldn't even understand, like, any information going on, like, any other.
Woody Overton
For sure. They don't have to give them the translator.
Cindy Overton
No, they don't.
Woody Overton
America.
Cindy Overton
So she has two friends that were also charged with drug dealing. And, I mean, this keeps just going on her. She's absolutely devastated.
Woody Overton
Yeah, she's really gonna be devastated inside that prison for 25 years.
Cindy Overton
The prison conditions are horrendous. There are no staff, and she has to bang on a big door if she needs anything. She's seen fights and she. She's been really scared. This is the mom talking. She has to sleep.
Woody Overton
I wonder how much a gram of cocaine goes for in Dubai. I bet it's a shit ton of money.
Cindy Overton
She said she has to sleep on a mattress on the floor. It's called Jail.
Woody Overton
Yeah.
Cindy Overton
And share the sale with six others. And I mean this woman, look how I know it's makeup involved. She's gorgeous.
Woody Overton
Yeah, I'm sure she's going to be going, look at these splits.
Cindy Overton
She's broken out in rashes. She was crying on the. She's. I don't know if you heard me say she shares a cell phone with six others. That.
Woody Overton
A cell phone? I thought you said a cell.
Cindy Overton
No, a cell phone with six others.
Woody Overton
God, that's horrible. You get a cell phone, right?
Cindy Overton
And she said, oh, mom, you know, please forgive me. One of their talks and it's just, it's ridiculous. She made a dumb mistake in the wrong country to do so.
Woody Overton
This is the story of the 1. As a maintenance supervisor at a manufacturing.
Cindy Overton

Cindy Overton
She needs to go to Chicago and have 50 grams of cocaine. They'll probably pay her for it.
Woody Overton
Well, not just Chicago, just pretty much anywhere in the US Yeah, cuz I said that just a minute ago. But I take it back because I really do love Chicago. I wish they'd get their straight, you know. Yeah, I mean, I really miss it so. Well, let me give you one of these here. It's time for family matters. This is just absolutely insane. All right. Going to Alabama and you're a police officer in Alabama. Pull somebody over, maybe they like that. Could be that girl. You find them attractive. You know what you do, you do your job right? Yeah, the old man trained me and he's dead now. Tom, the he, he loved. Right. Tickets. I hate to write tickets and. But I had. He was my field training officer and we pull over so many. That's all we did all day long, pull over people and ride them tickets in. But he the. I noticed he was given a break to. I don't want to say the pretty girls. No, it's the exact opposite. He was giving her a break to let's say the regular looking females, but the pretty girls always got the tickets. And I asked him, I said, so what? Do you notice a little pattern here? He said, hey, those other girls needed a break. Then pretty girls get a break. Every day of their life. Well, good for you. Not a gotten along with a pretty girl at some point but whatever. He was a great, great guy in a Vietnam vet but back so I'm back to Alabama Police officer pulls over female and gets her out of the car and says what do you want to do to get out of this? During the traffic stop then he handcuffed her and to continue on with his effed up professional ways, he puts her in his patrol car and rapes her.
Cindy Overton
Oh my God.
Woody Overton
Yep. So Jared Galen Webster he getting thankfully and this is not enough time but he got sentenced to 15 years in prison and now the woman is suing Webster, the chief of the Killian K I L L E N no relation to the Killian, Louisiana that's close to us. But Killian Police department and the town of Killian, Alabama. She filed a federal lawsuit. So the police chief Brian Hammond declined to comment on the lawsuit. Webster pled guilty to deprivation of rights under the color of the law from the traffic stop incident. Wait till I tell you what he did. I'm obviously raped her. But the he pled guilty under the code of law from the traffic stop incident as well as sexual exploitation of children in a case involving another victim. Right. So the now former officer pulled over the woman during a traffic stop November 12th of 2023. Prosecutor said in the plea agreement he asked what you want to do to get out of this. And she responded she wasn't going to do anything and he could cuff her and take her to jail. Well everybody's got body cameras on now, right? Well his body worn camera show him pull her over. Then he turns off the camera after she gets out of the vehicle and he's like she's a hottie. Turns off the camera. Right. So that's. And I told you what else happened. And he. He handcuffed her and raped her and he told her if she told anyone what happened. He had her address from her ID and he threatened to find her. This court of prosecutors the woman underwent a sexual assault examination by saying nurses things are horrible and we always had to stand outside the room to collect evidence when it was done. And. And unlike kids you have to actually interview them. It's just hard right. Really pisses piss you off. But then you got to take that stuff and get into refrigerator a certain amount of time and all that and establish a chain of custody before you take it to the crime lab. But went underneath other than a. Than a autopsy I think that's got to be the most invasive examination There is. And it happens to men, too.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
So. But anyway, she. She went under the examination, and guess what the examination proved.
Cindy Overton
Oh, I'm sure it proved Webster's.
Woody Overton
Webster's DNA.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
Was on her. Or in her, I guess. Webster was also accused of explicit photos from a teen girl he met during her brother's graduation at an Air Force base. And the assault being disclosed in a lawsuit. Lawsuit says the Killian Police Department didn't stop Webster's behavior and accuses the police chief and the town, by extension, of condoning his actions and not properly training him. So the. Her attorneys specifically pointed to a Facebook comment that got ham suspended for 15 days. And he. He later said he was joking when he commented, silence is consent. What a idiot. Silence is consent. But. And he did it on their political post and. And clarified. He meant that in reference. In reference to people ignoring accusations from the opposing side. Whatever. Your ass got in a crack and you got suspended for it. Look, you work for me. I don't care if you're civil service. I'm a fire up my way to fire your ass. You say silence is consent when he's talking about rape.
Cindy Overton
Exactly.
Woody Overton
That means you're a punk ass rapist. How many women did he do it to and got away with exactly?
Cindy Overton
Because they were afraid. And.
Woody Overton
Well, the lawsuit accused Webster violating her federal constitutional rights through use of excessive force, cruel and unusual punishment, and deprivation of due process process by unlawfully detaining and sodomizing her.
Cindy Overton
Oh, my God.
Woody Overton
Right? What a fucking idiot. Under state law. The lawsuit also brings forward allegations of assault and battery, liberty deprivation, false imprisonment, evasion of privacy, negligent training, supervision and retention. The. The filing doesn't specify how much money. You know, she's seeking a damage or whatever. And Killian is about a 70 mile drive west from Huntsville, so I've probably been through there at some point. Yeah, but y'. All, if you've experienced sexual assault and need someone to talk to, call the national Sexual Assault Hotline for support at 1-800-656-4673. Or they have an online chat room that you can visit. But at what point do you think. I mean, maybe it worked for him at some point. I don't know. I don't know. I just. You know. But you. You turn your camera off. You already know that you made comments about rape and. And you've been suspended for it. Come on, man. I know they're hurting for police officers. I get that. But you don't have to turn his camera off. I know he got 15 years for.
Cindy Overton
He should have gotten 15 years just returning his camera off as a cop.
Woody Overton
You know what he's gonna get 15. He's gonna get sodomized in prison. He salads and washing dirty drawers because he's a cop going to prison for rape.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
The only thing they hate worse than a child molester a chomo is a. Is a rapist. They call them tree jumpers. They could say you jump out of a tree and rape a woman, a defenseless woman. And the only thing they hate worse than that is a cop.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
Who's a rapist.
Cindy Overton
Yeah. Or Orkins has to be hidden in a well.
Woody Overton
This dude I'm sure is going to live out the rest of his days doing the same thing. So the well, I'm, I'm gonna do this. I'm talk about this. Maybe I get to play it. Hold.
Cindy Overton
Welcome back to ABC News Live. First, here are some of the top headlines we're following right now. Two suspects are under arrest after allegedly stealing a newlywed couple's box of gifts. The now viral video shows a man taking the box from the wedding. Recess.
Woody Overton
Never mind. Boom. All right, y'. All. So yesterday evening I cut my grass. It looks so pretty. Right. And then got it weeded this morning and kind of like my lawnmower time. Oh, I need to go cut the grass at the other place. But anyway the. I like doing that. Right. And you gotta ride around. I know where every root is. We have these big ass 200 year old trees and stuff. I don't know where the. The big roots are sticking out of the ground. I know how to mow around them and all that. Well, they had a man and I'll tell you where he's at in a minute. A man mowing his lawn just like all men do. And not all men but memes and sons that aren't at depth on lawnmower yet. I actually like that. But anyway, he's mowing his grass and he sees some that was out of the wasn't one of those big old roots. Guess what he saw.
Cindy Overton
A snake.
Woody Overton
Yeah.
Cindy Overton
Oh. Like an old trunk.
Woody Overton
He saw partially decomposed body. So he calls the cops and they identified the man. Last seen being released from incarceration several weeks before.
Cindy Overton
Wow.
Woody Overton
Right. So the body of 43 year old Charles Warner Ingram was found last Friday at a farm property in the Shoba County, Mississippi at approximately 1:45pm Now I'm not making light of this story but at 1:45pm in Mississippi it's hot as I At least wait till 3:30 to get a lawnmower. Just saying the the man was mowing his lawn. They didn't give his name, he said discover the partially decomposed body not far from the road and it's according to Showba County Sheriff's office. The deputies respond, the medical examiner responds and the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation officers and they looked all around the area do what they do. They're looking for clues and evidence to help identify the body. And on Wednesday authorities announced that they had identified the man and that he had last been seen on August 16 at the Neshoba County Detention Facility. They said he had recently been released by the judge on two failure to appear warrants through Neshoba County Justice Court. His incarceration span from July 13, 2025 to August 14, 2025. So police said that Ingram keeping them so for the day. I don't know why I was showing some of your photos today. Y' all could check us out on YouTube when it comes out. The police said the Ingram was released from the detention center around 2pm on Aug. 14. That two days later on Aug. 16, he was seen on camera walking to the jail and drinking water from the fountain before leaving on foot traveling towards Highway 15. Now the property where the body his body was discovered 15 days later is a half a mile west of Highway 15 and Four Fork community, Ms. In Mississippi, not far from where his last seen on camera. Yeah, in the water. Right. So the Mississippi Forensics laboratory was able to identify Ingram who was from nearby Philadelphia, Mississippi through his fingerprints. Investigators are currently looking into Ingram's potential cause of death and how he ended up on the property where he was found. But initial reports on Ingram's condition from police after his body was found suggested he had been on the property for an extended period of time, possibly up four to six weeks. Now they did that. They measured the maggots. People don't know about that.
Cindy Overton
No. Yeah.
Woody Overton
And the like Tennessee has body farm and, and whatever people that donate their bodies and they go in, they study it and it takes some. Whenever fly lands on a dead body, the fly does licks and eats, does what it does and it lays eggs. Those eggs turn into maggots and they eat and they have life cycles. Right. But they have like generations of maggots. The longer you're there and they could, they could do it. They, they'll go back and say well outside of Philadelphia, Mississippi the temperature was 101 degrees. Well we studied this body at 101 degrees and this is they, they Literally let the bodies rot and take the different size of magus. And there's different identifying marks, like generational. And so that's what they do. People don't know about that. When they tell you, they say you've been down four to six weeks. That's bad.
Cindy Overton
That is bad.
Woody Overton
I've seen it. I've seen the dead body on the ground where the. The ground just looks like it's moving.
Cindy Overton
Oh.
Woody Overton
Of course, you could smell it long for that. But the ground literally looks like it's me. And they turn your body in soup. Yeah, but it's generations. They can only eat so much. And they turn like they turn into. And then lay more babies. Had different generations. Yeah, Generational eaters.
Cindy Overton
The Louisiana. It's a museum in downtown Baton Rouge. It used to be like the arts and science museum when I was growing up. I don't know the name of it now. We took. When I was a teacher, we took our students to that. And they had a crime scene detective thing. Thing. And so they were actually taught about what you just explained. And it was really cool. And then they had to solve a crime based off of the evidence. Yeah, it was really cool.
Woody Overton
That's cool. Hopefully one of them grew up to be a good detective.
Cindy Overton
I hope so.
Woody Overton
And not an from Alabama raping women.
Cindy Overton
I know.
Woody Overton
Sodomasm.
Cindy Overton
Jeez.
Woody Overton
All right.
Cindy Overton
Turning off your camera before you do it. I mean, I don't know the whole.
Woody Overton
I just can't imagine anyone that he did it before and anyone wouldn't go in. I guess it happens if people don't report it. But if you. I hate to say butt raving, but if you butt rape me and you could threaten me all you want to, I'm gonna do whatever I gotta do to get out alive. If you get me to that point where, you know that's happening. Where you rape. Butt rape. Vagina. Right. How are mouth rape or rape? It doesn't matter. Whatever kind of rap you doing to me, motherfucker, you ain't get away with it because you got a gun on. And I think that you know you're going to kill me. But she evidently went straight to the hospital. Absolutely. And I pray to God that everybody does. I pray that it never happens. Yeah, but do you think this mother actually got away with that before?
Cindy Overton
No. It wasn't his first time. It can't be.
Woody Overton
Maybe. Maybe he did it to someone who didn't report. Report. A high risk he did. Whatever.
Cindy Overton
I'll come to your house. I know where you live. I'M gonna kill you. Whatever.
Woody Overton
I'm pretty sure that I'm gonna eat a bag of dicks.
Cindy Overton
I know. But most people don't think like you. And the. So the females or males or anyone out there that is afraid to report you will be protected. The law enforcement. There are good law enforcement offer you will be protected.
Woody Overton
And people say that, you know, oh, but they're untouchable. That's not true.
Cindy Overton
No.
Woody Overton
No. Them.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
Yeah. They may need that badge to feel like a man, but they can go to prison.
