True crime stuff. Good, bad, indifferent, mostly bad. If you're a human being and not a whatever, a maniac, let's go to Dallas. Right off the bat everybody knows this by now and had an kill three people. You know, ICE involved. You know, if you don't believe in what they're doing with the ICE and all that, you know, vote. You don't get bullets and go kill people. And the thing is they killed the detainees, they killed ICE officers and it's horrible. Shooter left behind in grave bullets, you know, with stuff on them. Anti ICE messages and all that and just more people dead for. I don't know. I don't know why. Joshua John Jahn, 29, is identified by sources familiar with investigation as a shooter who opened fire from the rooftop towards the ICE facility, killing one, detaining and injuring two others. I guess he couldn't hit the ICE agents and then he turned the gun on himself. I'm sure people will say that's a conspiracy too. And he unallowed himself, which is probably the only honorable thing he's ever done. The FBI and all of them are working seizing devices and data and writings and everything else and you know, pretty much put like one of the handwritten notes for cover Red. Hopefully this will give ICE agents real terror. To think is there a sniper with armor piercing rounds on that roof. And anyway, he conducted a bunch of searches about Charlie Kirk's video and all that. I'm looking at the bullets and he actually wrote on them, I guess an ink pen anti ICE and different things like that. So that is what it is. And you know, you just killed the people that you, I guess you were trying to protect. You're an asshole. Anybody that kills somebody else is an asshole. Unless it's self defense. And you do this and you really. I mean, all you did was killed the people that are being deported.
Cindy Overton
Exactly, whatever. And himself.
Woody Overton
Yeah, you know, that's a big loss there.
Cindy Overton
Well, no, I'm just saying, like I don't. He could have just killed himself. I mean, that sounded harsh, but I'm just saying, why do you have to go out with a blaze of fire around you? Like, guess he wanted the fires of hell to burn brighter.
Woody Overton
Yep, I'm sure they did. And whatever. All right, what you got?
Cindy Overton
I have an update.
Woody Overton
It's time for family matters.
Cindy Overton
When we first told this story, there was a lot of speculation about where what would happen to this father. And I'm talking about Travis Decker. And so just to recap that the initial part of the case, in case people don't know, on May 30, Travis Caleb Decker, who was 32 years old, picked up his three daughters, Peyton, who was 9, Evelyn, 8, and Olivia, who is 5. And they were scheduled for a visitation with him in Winnatachee, Washington. And he was supposed to return them later that day, but he never did. So when he failed to return, the mom reported it and a manhunt began. And finally on June 2, officials found the girls bodies on a Rock island campground in Chalon County. And it was like in very rugged terrain. And the father's Truck was nearby and it was abandoned. The autopsy of the children revealed that they had been suffocated. And there was plastic bags placed over their heads and their wrists had been bound with zip ties. Investigators linked Decker's DNA to the plastic bags and zip ties found at the crime scene. And blood handprints on the tailgate of his truck also matched his DNA. And Decker has a history, or had a history of military service. He was in the army and the National Guard and was trained in survival, navigation and off grid living. So authorities noted these skills made a manhunt much more challenging. Reports from his ex wife prior to the murders included concerns over his mental health, stability, his unstable lifestyle, and. And he was, you know, sometimes living outside of his truck, like in his truck and things along those lines. And she had petitioned in the past to restrict his visitation rights, but those petitions, you know, whatever happened with those happened. But on September 18 of 2025, skeletal remains were found in a remote wooded area south of Leavenworth, Washington. Clothing and items believed to belong to Decker were found nearby, including a neon green shirt matching what he was known to have worn. So the U.S. marshal Service in a legal filing, declared Decker deceased, stating that the remaining arrest warrant should be dropped because they believe the remains are his. However, local authorities have not yet confirmed the remains are definitively his, and they're waiting for the DNA testing to come back. The Chellen County Sheriff's Office insists the charges remain until a positive ID is confirmed. So I'm sure we'll be able to confirm that soon.
Woody Overton
But yeah, they. Everybody was like, oh, he's off in, you know, Honduras or whatever. And no, he be dead. Yeah, he's a piece of. Yeah, I don't know.
Cindy Overton
Yep.
Woody Overton
It'S time for family matters. Going out to Florida, down to Florida. And they had a lady or wife, Catherine Jackson. She was killed by her husband, Samuel Hamans. And he did it by hitting her in the head with a metal pipe as she walked into their bedroom.
Cindy Overton
Damn.
Woody Overton
Who the fuck has a metal pipe laying around in the bedroom?
Cindy Overton
Oh my gosh.
Woody Overton
Right, so. But he did it because he accused his wife of performing voodoo on him.
Cindy Overton
Okay, Right.
Woody Overton
And now he's been convicted her murder is. This happened back in 2021. So the state Attorney, Melissa Nelson said was killed on May 20, 2021 in her Jacksonville, Florida home. After she came into the residence with her baby. Her husband, Sammy Ho, told police he killed her with a metal pipe. The 33 year old had severe trauma to her head and she was found dead by Jacksonville police who responded to the residents about a deceased individual. Now he mans told officers that he had struck her with a metal pipe in the back of the head as she walked into the bedroom. But he didn't kill her right away because there was a struggle, he said. And he regret he regained control of the pipe and struck her multiple times. And he told detectives that he was there was no conflict or argument leading to attack. He claimed he killed her after several years of her having performed voodoo on him anyway. And the obituary shared online after killing Catherine Lee Jackson was remembered as a loving mom athletic trainer who loved putting together creative gifts for her loved ones. It says she was always making and creating something with her God given talent. Anyway, our hobbies were like art and bacon, red velvet cakes, reading, crocheting, knitting and attending live Broadway Broadway plays. And of course their son is left behind. He's been charged with second degree murder and his sentencing date has not been announced yet.
Cindy Overton
Second degree murder?
Woody Overton
I don't know why you're gonna ask me. I'm not from Florida.
Cindy Overton
Okay, sorry.
Woody Overton
The, the put the voodoo on you. The voodoo poo poo. That's your excuse? Let me know how it works out for you in prison.
Cindy Overton
What an excuse that is. Okay, well, we're going to one of our favorite places to go to in the news besides Florida and Pinellas County, Houston. We seem to be here a lot. There was a man, 74 year old man, Juan Armendaris, and he's 74 and he uses a walker. And he was walking into a convenience store and he got in there and he purchased his lottery tickets.
Woody Overton
All right.
Cindy Overton
And a man approached him as he walked out of the store and got into the parking lot. And the man proceeded to reach into his pocket like reach into the 74 year old man's pocket and forcefully remove $6. And once he got the money out of the pocket, he knocked the 74 year old Juan down on the ground. And Armendaris, which is the victim, told reporters he had health issues. And those health issues, obviously he was using a walker, made it very difficult for him to defend himself. This incident occurred around 10am but and it was on August 30 near Martin Luther King Boulevard, according to Houston police. But surveillance video captured the moment. And you can see the suspect walking up to Armendaris, grabs the cash and just casually leaves with the victim on the ground. Armendaris initially wasn't aware the video existed of the assault. And upon seeing it, he expressed like hope that the perpetrator might be caught. I Don't know why. He says, I don't know what they'll do to him for such a small amount of money, but if he does it again, they know he's one of the guys they need to be on the lookout for. He said so. HPD is actively seeking a suspect. They describe him as a black male, 17 to 25 years old. And at the time, he was wearing a black jacket, faded blue jeans, white shoes, and carrying a light blue backpack. And he has what they describe as short Afro style hair. And there's a $5,000 reward being offered via Crime Stoppers for information leading to an arrest. And although Armendaris wasn't seriously injured in the attack, his balance and mobility are now more vulnerable. So it's really sad for $6 on that, right? I guess when you don't know, it's like when you go rob a bank. You don't know what you're going to get. You just hope for the most. But I don't know.
Woody Overton
Yes, indeed.
Cindy Overton
Piso. Just prey on an old man with a walker. This. You're such a big man.
Woody Overton
Easy victim, I guess, right?
Cindy Overton
Yep.
Woody Overton
It's time. It's timely. Families matters. All right. Going back to Texas Teehas and they had a trial and old boy got found guilty. And his name's Will Osteen. He's 28 years old. He got found guilty and guess what? He got the death penalty on Monday for the 2022 capital murder of his estranged girlfriend and mother of two, Marissa Grimes. And the sentence was just announced yesterday. According to prosecutors, Osteen had a history of domestic violence against Grimes, who's 26. And in January 2022, he was arrested on domestic violence charges after threatening her life and holding her against her will. But guess what? They let him out of jail, gave him a GPS ankle brakelet, and he's ordered to stay away from Grimes. Well, you know how that I always say that paper or that bracelet won't stop a bullet, right? Prosecutor said Osteen was angered by the charters and the Monitor, and he told others that he planned to kill Grimes.

Though Grimes family had convinced her to move to West Texas, she and Osteen reportedly began communicating again. Circle of violence on the night of February 12, 2022, Grimes, who is driving a U haul for her move, stopped by Osteen's house to say goodbye. Yeah, right. Prosecutors said the two went to a neighbor's home where Osteen, that's O s T e n threaten Grimes with a gun. Now guess what happened. Grimes goes missing and her family reports that her missing to the cops. Police later found her abandoned U haul near Osteen's home. During a search Osteen's residence, officers discover Grimes decomposing body wrapped in blankets and a tarp in the crawl space. So he's going to keep her close, right?
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
He dug her a shallow grave and lived above her for 10 days. The ADA attorney, Elena bank, said the medical examiner determined that Grimes died from blunt force trauma to the head and ruled it a homicide. Prosecutor said that Grimes had been beaten to death and tortured, sustaining a broken arm, nose and ribs, along with lacerations and two black eyes. And that's it. He got the. He got the death penalty for it.
Cindy Overton
Good.
Woody Overton
Shout out to Texas for. I mean, come on, man. The. The. You know, I'm sure the really aggravating circumstances is the ankle bracelet and you rattled Bond forward, blah, blah, blah, and you did it. And then of course, she lived above her for 10 days and tortured her and everything else.
Cindy Overton
Exactly.
Woody Overton
Think about that.
Cindy Overton
I can't.
Woody Overton
I mean, he didn't. Didn't even want to be quick enough for a bullet. He just wanted to beat the ever loving out of her and kill her.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
And then sit on top of her.
Cindy Overton
Yeah. Right where he. Right where he wanted her to be.
Woody Overton
What kind of TV shows he. He watched those 10 days and what he ate and hung out. Did he drink? Some beers. Ultimate victory for me, man, till they. 30 years from now, when I'm dead, you and I'll be dead, and they'll. They'll shoot him up in Texas.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
All right, your turn. It's time for effort of professionals.
Cindy Overton
Going to Pennsylvania for this one and a mushroom farm.
Woody Overton
All right.
Cindy Overton
So in Chester county, Pennsylvania, investigators say that a mushroom farmer preyed on two teenage girls that were from Mexico and Guatemala. And he lured them, Lured. Lured them into the United States with promises of opportunity, only to trap them in a cycle of exploitation, grueling labor, and fear. So the man at the center of the case is Ramiro Kal Jal Jalamna. And according to a Pennsylvania attorney general's office, Jalamna brought one of the victims into the country through a sponsorship program. And the other girl was transported from Mexico. And once they arrived, they told. He told them they owed him large debts for their travel and living expenses, debts they would have to work off. But what they found was not the opportunity they'd been promised. Prosecutors say jalamna immediately put them to work on his mushroom farm.
Woody Overton
Right. Get out there and pick some mushrooms.
Cindy Overton
Forcing them to labor seven days a week, often, you know, for 16 hour shifts without breaks. And they were made to pick mushrooms, clean, and perform domestic chores around his home. And the girls were kept out of school and isolated from the outside world. So what little money they did earn, he would just take back from them. Authorities say jalamna and his wife required the girls to sign over their paychecks and in some cases were given no compensation at all. When the girl showed signs of wanting to leave, Jalamna allegedly or Jalamna threatened them with punishment or deportation, telling them they would be sent back to their home countries if they tried to escape. I'd probably want to go back home. The abuse went beyond labor. Prosecutors revealed that the older victim had come to the United States hoping to support her sick father financially. But almost all of the money she earned was taken. And then the young girl, still in her teens, was cut off from any chance at education and forced into the same relentless work schedule under constant threats. But the attorney general, David Sunday, called jalamna's actions cruel and dehumanizing. Praying, Saying that he preyed on vulnerable young women who just wanted to help their families. Sunday added that the case illustrates how traffickers exploit hope and desperation to create total control over the victims. Jalamna's abuse had continued for years until law enforcement built a case and arrested him. And he now faces multiple felony charges, including human trafficking, involuntary servitude and related offenses. Bail has been set at $1 million. Officials also revealed that jalamna was already incarcerated on separate child pornography charges from 2024 when this new case was filed. So obviously he's in deep legal poo poo. But the case is ongoing, and authorities say it's a clear example of how human trafficking doesn't always look like abductions or chains. Sometimes it's built on. I think a lot of times it's built on manipulation, debt and fear. But I don't know what happened to the wife. She was part of it. So there's no mention of her in here.
Woody Overton
Inquire minds want to know.
Cindy Overton
I know, and I did a little bit of research into. Well, I want to know. She needs to serve some time too. Mushroom farms are horrible.
Woody Overton
Maybe she turned evidence to Florida. So let's go to Florida. You know, I've done a lot of things to pick up chicks, as most guys do when they're young, but I never did this. Oh, yeah. So they didn't tell you about it on there? They had this dude, there's some girls standing on the corner and he pulls up to impress them and he's got this fancy truck and he just smokes those tires. Your excitement at K1 speed race. Our all electric indoor go karts. Play arcade games and enjoy delicious food and drinks. Eat. Hey, make it stop, huh? Say he pulls up front of the girls and does pretty impressive burnout if you're into that kind of thing sometime. He smoked those tires down. And he slides out into the to the intersection and guess who pulls out right behind him? The popo. But he told him, he said, I did it. And he told the police. And he did it in front of the police. He knew the police were there in an attempt to impress the girls. And that's what the cops posted on Facebook on Tuesday. So the Brandon police department said they were patrolling downtown the city when they heard a vehicle rev its engine and they saw a silver pickup traveling at a high speed. Police said Juan Leon, who's 28, pretty sure 28 year past smoking your tires. He swerved, avoiding the officers and pedestrians, but encounter red light. That's why the video picked up here. So he's already almost hit the cops and several pedestrians. He's hauling ass. But then he sees the girl as it stops and let me. He said, now let me smoke it out for him, knowing you've already just almost hit the cops anyway. So the cops got him. And you can't see it on the video because y' all didn't get to see it. But, I mean, like, they were right there, like, literally on his tailgate while he's doing it, and they pull him over. And Mr. Leon is a dumbass because not only did he get the reckless driving and criminal mischief and aggravated assault for almost killing everybody, he also got a dui.
Cindy Overton
Good.
Woody Overton
I mean, you just, hey, let's just get drunk and go down there and almost run everybody over, including police, in a clearly marked vehicle. But then I'm a stop for this hot chick and burn my tires out. But then I'm going to jail.
Cindy Overton
And I'm 28.
Woody Overton
And I'm 28 years old. Pretty sure they qualify as a dumbass.
Cindy Overton
When was the last time you smoked your tires?
Woody Overton
I can. I did it, but it was on a dare. It was in when I had the party wagon and we were leaving football practice. We always. Y' all tried to, when I was in high school, try to smoke them. I've always had a piece of car because, you know, my dad. And so I had this station wagon, like 1980 or 79 station wagon. And my buddy said I picked him up football practice. He said, this thing won't do a burnout. This thing won't do a burnout. And I'd been trying to make it, and it just wouldn't. He said, I got an idea. Put your foot on the right, put it in neutral, rev it all the way up, and then slam it in the drive.
Cindy Overton
Isn't that the way you do a burnout?
Woody Overton
Oh, baby, cars that. That are fast enough, you. You slam on the gas and the tires are so fast they can't catch. And then. And then catching the second gear, etc. Now, let me tell you what happened. So I did it. I put in. You try rev that bitch way up. And I slammed it in the drive, and it started burning out. All right. Yeah. Burnout so bad I couldn't even see. And it wouldn't stop. It just kept going. Oh. And I was like, holy fuck, we're on Ottawa already. Couldn't have big white cloud. I mean, you couldn't even see anything. I was like, fuck. And finally got stopped. And I drove to football practice. Went to football practice. Oh, I was leaving. Go to Florida the next morning and pull into the little gas station. Clinton always pulled up to the side where it's a dead end.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
And we went and started raining and went in and get our Gatorades, came back out and I put it in reverse. The car took off and forwards and forward. It wouldn't go in reverse. And then it was hunting howler laughing at me. And I was like, help me push out. Because I didn't want to get punched because I was going to Florida with my older brother and his friends the next day.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
And I was almost crying. They helped me push it out. So my daddy used one. I'm telling too much. But my daddy used to make me park this car behind what we call the wall area so it couldn't be seen from the road because he didn't want that piece of shit being seen by anybody else. So I parked it over behind the wall area on the neighbor's fence line and I left. I didn't tell him anything about it, right. I'm not going to tell him. Pretty sure I just tore up everything in that. In that. In the party wagon. But the. He. My daddy always found out. But the. So I also used to have to carry the trash back there and put it behind the wall area and I would put the trash on the hood of the car once a week and. And get to in the driveway and slam them on brakes and all the bags would fall off. Right. Work smart, not hard. So my daddy went to get in the party wagon to. I never told you this story. My daddy went to get in the party wagon while I was gone to take the trash road. Probably the first time in his entire life.
Cindy Overton
That's why my.
Woody Overton
Wait, wait, wait. He put it in reverse, punched the gas and ran. It ran. He ran over the neighbor's fence. Yeah. Had to call a tow truck to get it out.
Cindy Overton
You've never told me that story.
Woody Overton
Got my ass beat that time for sure.
Cindy Overton
I guess you did.
Woody Overton
That's one of swim someone who is me stories. And I'm going to tell you all about one day.
Cindy Overton
Wait till you got home. Or did he call the hotel room?
Woody Overton
Oh, no, no. He waited till I got home. A surprise attack. Nothing like a good old fashioned surprise attack when you think you had a good vacation and all that. You don't. And he sitting there getting madder every day.
Cindy Overton
Oh, you know he was so.
Woody Overton
I love you, daddy. Anyway, all right, so I'm going to take you to Florida and tell you about a woman scorned.
Cindy Overton
Okay?
Woody Overton
Right. And she one day is looking for her boyfriend and can't find him and she goes to this other female's house and finds him. And when she gets there, she is armed With a pistol. And she uses the pistol to shoot the other female.
Cindy Overton
Okay.
Woody Overton
In the buttocks.
Cindy Overton
Oh, right.
Woody Overton
And back area. All right, so, well, Anyway, Janae Meeda, 25, is charged with attempted murder for the early morning shooting at her home and the 3000 block of Northwest street in Miami Gardens. The arrest affidavit details how the victim went to meet his home. Knowing her boyfriend was inside. She knocked on Meta's door and asked her boyfriend to come outside. The victim reported that as she began walking from the front door towards a side gate, Mita opened the front door, stepped outside on the porch and fired two shots in her direction while stating, get from my house. Right.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
Okay. And this was all caught on our favorite new thing, ring camera. So the victim's boyfriend can be seen. He ran like a little bitch. And naturally cops were called to the scene and they called up with a boyfriend once he got out of breath from running like a little bitch. And he admitted he had been inside Ma's home and bedroom when the victim showed up looking for him. He explained that he didn't answer the door because it was not his residence. However, Meta went to the door and shortly thereafter he heard gunshots. Meta was taken into custody and questioned by detectives. She claimed that the victim showed up to her home at around 9:50am and started banging on the door and yelling she was going to beat me. His ass Meet advised she recognized the female from a prior incident involving the same boyfriend. Right. Victim was found part at a nearby park and taken to a local hospital for treatment. And me is being held without bond. So the, you know, first, I'm pretty sure, I don't know about everybody else, but pretty sure if I'm shacked up with somebody and. And their girlfriend or significant other shows up banging on the door, I'm not going that hooping in. They're in the house. He could. She could have killed both of them. Or actually it wasn't the person that showed up that did it.
Cindy Overton
Exactly.
Woody Overton
She. I guess she went around to look and see her boyfriend's the thing and shot her in the ass. Twice. Yeah, papa in the ass, right? Take that.
Cindy Overton
Might be her money maker, might be her money maker.
Woody Overton
Shake him. They don't break it. Kmart don't make it. It's done. Shot her in the ass. I don't know. A little bit different, right? Right.
Cindy Overton
Yeah, a little bit different.
Woody Overton
So let's go to. It's time for family matters. Got a 13 year old boy and his mama. 13 year old boy wasn't feeling Much love for his mama because he beat her with a tree branch and tried to throw her off a balcony. Right?
Cindy Overton
I don't.
Woody Overton
Well, if your mama what you gonna do? You'll fight back, right?
Cindy Overton
I would hope so.
Woody Overton
So the mom fought back, but guess what? She fought back with a knife. Oh, is your 13 year old kid.
Cindy Overton
You just restrain him, you just keep.
Woody Overton
Him from being our 13 year old. Probably could have whooped your ass when he was 13, right? But think about, he's trying to throw you off a balcony and beating you with a tree branch. According to them. Anyway. So the officers responded to a 911 call at an apartment complex on the northeast side of Memphis, Tennessee at 5:20pm and the police department said. Allison news release the mom tells the cops she was cooking when she got into an argument with her teenage son and he became violent. He pushed her out onto their second floor balcony and repeatedly punched her in the head. Yeah, the fucking world we live in. Damn. The boy then stopped punching her in the head for a couple minutes.
Cindy Overton
Okay.
Woody Overton
But he comes back with a large tree branch. Now where the do you get a large. My mom used to be like go get a switch.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
And they beat that ass with that. But he comes back with a tree branch, a large tree branch and started beating her with it. Well, might as well be a baseball bat, right? A neighbor is witnessing this evidently from their balcony and witness tact and said hey, it is one sided and violent. Well, as the boy rained blows down his mother with the tree branch, he pushed her towards the balcony railing and tried to throw her the off. Now investigators noted there would have been little on the ground below to break her fall.
Cindy Overton
Oh my gosh.
Woody Overton
In complete fear of her life, the mom fought back with the knife she had been holding. She thought she cut her son during the struggle, she told officers. But he didn't stop until he heard the approaching sirens of the police cars. Then the teen left the scene with friends. I guess they were watching. Adding that the friends were were covering for him as the officers tried to find him. When the boy returned to the area and was taken into custody around 8pm and transferred to juvenile court, his ass in trouble.
Cindy Overton
His friends should go too.
Woody Overton
Well, the cop said he didn't suffer any injuries. However, his mom had a cut near her shoulder as well as deep bruising, but refused to be taken to the hospital because she had no one to watch her other children. So he does it in front of his friends, in front of his siblings and and I thank God. The cop showed up, hit It. There's no doubt he would. He would have shoved her off the balcony. I mean, I don't know. You punched your mom in the face. I'm gonna tell you something. I ever see any of you punching your mom in the face, I'm gonna punch you in the face, and you may beat my ass. I mean, unless your mom was, like, doing something like trying to murder you. But if you. You know how I am about respecting my parents.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
And look, every time. Every time I ever got slapped or my ass beat, which was a lie, I deserved it. If I ever see a kid punch their mama, I'm gonna knock that out and take the charge.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
So there you have that. All right. I'm gonna do this one specifically for you.
Cindy Overton
Oh, gosh. Because you have a.
Woody Overton
Of you. This seemed better. This is so good. It's time for beast mode, y'. All. I'm doing this one because I know there's a Cindy story to follow. You said it, and you didn't have any more stories there. You have a story behind this one. And this one. If you just recently eaten, you're probably gonna hurl. And they call it a stomach churning moment. As a. And they show in the picture of it. The doctor removed a live crab from a boy's ear after he felt something wriggling in his head. Following a treat, trip to the beach and mesa cake.
Cindy Overton
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Woody Overton
Listen, listen. After the crustacean emerged from our son Pedro's lug hole. I guess a lug hole's is what they call an ear term. I don't know all you medical lifers out there. But they had just gone to the beach when he started to complain of discomfort. The mom then took Pedro to a local health center. Well, after looking, the doctors discovered a baby crab had burrowed into the boy's ear. Oh, yeah. This me up, too. But Pedro asked his mom to film as the health practitioner removed the graph.
Cindy Overton
I would not.
Woody Overton
Boys like, this can be some cool. I could be an influencer. So they filmed it, y'. All. And the video shows a tearful Pedro holding his mother hand. Mother's hand. As the doctor conducted the extraction with one hand while holding Pedro's head in place with another. Like, don't you move. I gotta get this crap.
Cindy Overton
Yeah. Oh.
Woody Overton
He asked his mama, am I gonna go blind? And she said, no, baby, you're not gonna go blind. So after the small creature was taken out, it was seen still alive and wandering across the stretcher. Just so y' all know, it had been walking backwards. That's how crabs do it.
Cindy Overton
It's not backwards to them.
Woody Overton
Anyway, so actually, the mom is a Mexican influencer who runs the YouTube channel Traveling with Tree. It said a new fear unlocked. A crab got into Pedro's ear. It's highly unlikely that something like this would happen, but it did. And then she jokes and says, no crabs were harmed during the recording of this video.
Cindy Overton
Oh. Oh, my gosh.
Woody Overton
So there you have it. Let me tell you something. I don't have fear about much, but I'm very sensitive, very in tune to my body. I mean, I could tell you, like, the second my body temperature rises a degree, I can tell you the second something is wrong and. And whatever. But I have never had the misfortune having a foreign body crawling inside of me that I knew about. I mean, I had burp brucellis and shit like that. I had diseases, but I hadn't. I'm talking about something that's a. Alive. It's alive in your ear. Tell us about it, Sin.
Cindy Overton
Well, I thought I had something alive in my ear.
Woody Overton
You did.
Cindy Overton
It wasn't alive.
Woody Overton
I thought it was alive.
Cindy Overton
No, I thought it was alive.
Woody Overton
All right, well, tell us the story anyway.
Cindy Overton
So Rue used to sleep with us in the middle of our bed.
Woody Overton
Roo is the grandma dog that started it all. Yes, the English springer spaniel.
Cindy Overton
And she slept with us just as my first springer spaniel slept with me. She slept around our heads.
Woody Overton
Yeah.
Cindy Overton
And I started feeling something in my ear, and it was just like, something. And I knew there was something living in my ear, but I didn't know what it was.
Woody Overton
But you said it wasn't a lie.
Cindy Overton
I'm just saying this is what I felt at the time. There was something in here, in my ear.
Woody Overton
Not living in ear. That's why I got the story.
Cindy Overton
I felt something was living in my ear, and I was so scared.
Woody Overton
Meaning? Like, it was paying rent.
Cindy Overton
It was not paying me rent. Except for the ear ringing, the weird, like, tickling. It's not even a tickle, just a weird sensation. I was off balance. I was hearing, like, noise. Like, just weird noises. It would. If I would turn my head, it would make a noise or whatever. And so finally, after a couple weeks, because I went to the doctor and she looked inside my ear, and one of Rue's hairs had embedded an inch into my eardrum. And so she pulled it out, and I have that picture. It wasn't a living thing.
Woody Overton
Yeah. That's disgusting.
Cindy Overton
That was disgust.
Woody Overton
I just knew you had some pulled out of here.
Cindy Overton
Yes.
Woody Overton
Probably wasn't paying attention.
Cindy Overton
I know you weren't paying attention. So.
Woody Overton
Well, there you have it. All right. Hashtag just for Bradley. Hashtag just for ao. Oh, shit, y'. All. It's not one of those where I can just tell you shit because I can't because everything's that can be told would put in jeopardy. And we're at that crucial point in the case where I just can't. And we're going to do an episode this week probably discussing some pictures etc that developed during the case. But I can't tell you what's actually going on the case. You know what? The bad guys know it and they know it. So the we got to get beyond a reasonable doubt not probable calls. Got that 50% plus one. Enough to arrest them. And if I was the law enforcement officer on the case, I would have arrested and made one of them flip. But now I have to do it another way. And we'll get the probable cause which is when they take it to the grand jury. They're going to get indicted for the murder Bradley Stracer and hashtag just for AO and also banning never would have been murdered had it not been for Bradley Strayston was being murdered. So anyway, y' all tune in like listen, share and all that great podcast. Have a great weekend. Right, so.
Cindy Overton
That's right.
Woody Overton
It's gonna be cooling down a little bit this weekend. Hopefully it'll stay cool. Not cool for us. I mean, I say cool. 89 degrees for us. It's cool. Like my mom was up in northern New York and it's probably in the 50s, so. But love and appreciate each and every one of y'. All.
Cindy Overton
For sure.
Woody Overton
What you got anything else? You got any hairs in your ear? No. Better than your eardrums?
Cindy Overton
Nope.
Woody Overton
All right with that, I'm Woody Everton.
Cindy Overton
