Foreign let's go. Red Rock Church. Can we give our amazing God a shout of praise in this place? Let's go, let's go, let's go. Let's go. And make some noise for every red rocker joining us from Denver to Austin to Brussels and beyond, the men and women at our correctional facility campuses. We love you so much. Welcome to church. Welcome home. You guys feel good today? Our God is good. Amen. Amen. If you take a look around, you will see God doing miracles in your life every single day. He or she who has eyes to see, let them see that our God is good. He is a miracle working God. And that's nothing is off the table for what this God can do in your life and through your life. I promise you that. And I'm just curious, does anybody need a miracle in your life right now? Or maybe you know somebody who does. Yeah, me too. Maybe it's a devastating diagnosis or a desperate financial situation, or maybe it's just something big with your marriage or something big with your kids that you feel like this is too much for me to carry. This is too big for me to handle or fix on my own. I've got good news for you. God is in the business of doing miracles. Amen. And I've got even gooder news for you. 2026 is the year of miracles for Red Roc Church. And I believe that with all of my heart. I really do. And Pastor Sean showed us this last week. But a miracle is basically when God does what we can. And Psalm 77:14 says, you are the God who performs miracles, your power among the peoples. And we don't want to find out what we can do this year with our willpower. We want to find out what this miracle working God can do in our lives and in our church by his power. And then a mindset is, well, where we set our minds. And Colossians 3, verse 2 says, we don't set our minds on earthly things. No, no, no. We set our minds onto things above. So you can set your mind onto the mountain that's in front of you, but you can also set your mind onto the God who can move that mountain right out of your way. The miracle is on him, but the mindset is on us. So let's believe for the imposs. Like Jesus said in Matthew 19:26, he's talking to a crowd of people and he says, you know what? There's actually a lot of things that with man, without God, it is impossible. But he doesn't stop there. He says, but With God, but with me in the picture. All things. Somebody say all things. All things are possible with our miracle working God. Anything and everything is miracleable. You like that word? I kind of stole that from my good friend A.J. norman. She's on our staff in Austin, and she has this phrase where she says, everything is figureoutable. That's a great quality to have in somebody who's on your staff, by the way, anything and everything is miracleable. And so welcome to week two of miracle mindset. Let's believe for the impossible. And I want to preach a message today called this why some miracles happen and some miracles don't. And I actually just wanted to go there and I wanted to step straight into our doubts and fears and maybe disappointments surrounding the word miracle, because we're not trying to sell you a cool word of the year. Hype will not heal you, but he can. And I just really believe, man, if we go there, that the Holy Spirit, with the sweetness of his presence, will meet us there. So, God, we love you, and we just need your presence in your power like never before. So would you draw near to us? We trust you. Speak to us in Jesus name. And everybody said amen. Go ahead and take a seat. Every campus, take a seat. Are there any engaged in couples. Engaged couples in the room? Sorry, engaged at any campus? Go ahead and raise your hand. Proudly engaged couples. Okay, there's a few of you. Congratulations. It's. It's been a while for me now, about 12 years, but I was thinking about it the other day and I. I remember having sort of this love hate relationship with the engagement season. And the reason is because it's like you're already committed to marriage, but you don't yet get all the bennies of being married if you're picking up what I'm putting down. Okay. And I know I just made a subtle comment about saving sex for marriage, and I know what city I'm in and I know what year it is. Okay. I'm just saying, I look at all the statistics surrounding love, sex and marriage when it comes to how happy or fulfilled everybody really is, or lack thereof, and I really just believe our culture could use a little bit more traditional right about now. After all, this isn't even my vision for love, sex and marriage. It's God's vision for love, sex, and marriage. He designed it. Let's let him define it. He's a really good dad, a really good God who has really good plans for you. He's not trying to rob your fun or crash your party and shut it down early. He's actually trying to maximize the fullness of life that he has for you. And I'm just living proof that it's never too late. When you say God, you know what? I'm done doing this my way. Let's do this yours. It is never too late for him to make you brand new. It's never too late for him to make your relationship brand new. Heck, you don't even have to fully understand why in order to be obedient. Understanding in fullness is not a prereq for obedience. When following Jesus, you simply say, let's do this your way. I believe your way is better. You're a good God with good plans. And make me brand new. And he will. Anyways, I was engaged for about six months and eight days. Not that I was counting. And it's because engagement is weird. There it is. I said it. Engagement's just kind of weird once again, because you get some of the perks of being in love, but not all the perks of being married. It's like the promise is there already, but the party's still ahead. And you already got the ring, but you don't yet got the last name. I think about me and Sam. We were fully devoted and the future was decided. But we're not living together yet, and we're not sharing finances yet. And we're not having sexy sleepovers yet because she hasn't walked down the aisle yet. And what I'm trying to say is, for six months and eight days, I took a lot of cold showers. Oh, what? We can't be real? I was sexually frustrated. Red rocks. That's what that means. Let me crack the code for you, okay? Thinking, wow. Like, I'm fully committed, but we can't have sex. But at least I get to pick out flower arrangements. Praise God. I'm kidding, guys. I didn't pick anything. But truly being engaged is kind of like already, but not yet. Which is why it's amazing. But it's also frustrating, not just for me. But just picture my poor fiance, how frustrating it must have been for her to wait for me. Her knight in shining armor trapped up in her tower, just journaling in her diary every day, Mrs. Samantha Weckenman. Mrs. Samantha Wekenman. Again and again and again, just dreaming about this man of God, this future dream husband of hers who is already hers. But it's not yet official. Until the big day finally came. Just a couple of kids. Man, my wife still looks the same. I do not look at Young Doug, not a single gray hair on that head. Marriage has been so easy, but I just remember what a celebration that day was. We got to celebrate going from engagement to. To marriage once and for all. And realizing in that moment, man, all the waiting made the wedding so much more full of God's blessing. And that night was such a party. And here's what I'm trying to say. There is a richness to marriage, but there is a frustration to engagement, because you know it leads to marriage, and you can't wait to spend the rest of your life with this other person. But it's not yet. It's already. But it's not yet. And I think engagement is the perfect metaphor for this time and space that you and I exist in right now as we pray for miracles. This is an era that theologians will call the already but not yet. And what it means is Jesus has already come the first time, but Jesus has not yet come back the second time. So that means that heaven is already here permanently. But heaven is not yet here entirely. Look at 2 Corinthians 1, 21, 22. It says this. He has identified us as his own by placing the Holy Spirit in our hearts as the first installment that guarantees everything he has promised us. Guarantees everything he has promised us. The Greek word for that is the word arabon, and it means down payment or a pledge that more is coming. I'll say it this way. The Holy Spirit in your heart is kind of like God's ring on your finger. We are already his. And. And between now and heaven, it's like we are already living in some of the fullness that. That he has for us. But we are not yet living in all of the fullness. Not yet. That's why life can be so good and life can be so hard and so painful. That's why Christ has overcome the world. And yet we still have trouble, it seems, every single day. And all things are being made new, but they have not yet been made fully new. That's why Jesus has conquered the grave and the war has been won. But bad things still happen every single day in our world. And people still get sick. And we still have to live in the fallout of sin, even though the price for sin has been paid in full. Why? Because of already but not yet. Jesus is already the king. But not every tongue is confessed yet, and not every knee has bowed yet. And one day there will be fullness. And on that day, we will party with God in what the Bible calls the wedding feast of the Lamb. That you can read in Revelation 19:6 and 7, it says, then I heard a sound. It sounded like the shout of a vast crowd or the roar of mighty ocean waves or the crash of loud thunder. Praise the Lord. This is so good and crazy. For the Lord, our God, the Almighty reigns. Let us be glad and rejoice, and let us give honor to him. For the time has come for the wedding feast of the Lamb, and the bride has prepared herself, the bride being the church. One day the engagement will be over and the marriage will be here forever. But right now we are already. But not yet. Let me show you this a different way. The Bible begins in the beginning. God makes heaven and earth. Think of it this way, not as two different places, but. But as two dimensions occupying the same space called Eden. The garden was literally heaven on earth. God with his people. No sin, no reason to hide, naked and unashamed in every single way. You understand? In Eden, there's no need to pray for miracles because everything is as it's supposed to be until Genesis 3. In one horrible moment, not because of a magical mango, but because of a decision caused by deception to choose our way over God's way. Sin enters the picture, and heaven and earth are driven apart because a holy God cannot exist where there is any sin. And heaven and earth are now separated where they used to overlap. To quote Tim Mackey, we now have two different spaces. You have God's space, or heaven, marked by shalom and joy and peace and fullness and purpose and love, and all the words that we know we're really made for, all the words we're actually truly searching for. And then you have earth, or human space, marked by hatred and disease and cancer and division and poverty and loneliness and anxiety. And any word that you can think of that reminds you things are not the way they're supposed to be. Heaven and earth. And the Bible is the story of God bringing the two back together. In the Old Testament. That's why the sacrificial system was implemented, as barbaric and brutal as it seems. And it was. It was actually a signal flare of the grace of God trying to be with his people again. And the sacrificial system kind of sort of worked. You would spill imperfect animal blood and it would atone for sin for a little bit, at least until you sinned again. So I'm like, okay, so 15 minutes later, I need another sacrifice. And God realized this is. This is not going to quite do the trick because all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God and the Wages of sin is death, which means life must be paid. And Leviticus tells us that the life is in the blood. And God knew perfect blood was needed. Look at Hebrews 9:14. In light of that, if animal blood and the other rituals of purification were effective in cleaning up certain matters of our religion and behavior, think outside in. Then think how much more the perfect blood of Christ cleans up our whole lives from the inside out. Speaking of transformation. So if you want to know how serious God is about sin and about salvation, look no further than the brutality of the sacrificial system. And even more so the passion of the Christ going to the cross. That was the perfect sacrifice, the final sacrifice needed in order to perfect some very imperfect people like me and like you. That's why I don't need to know your story, because I know this story. And I know for a fact you are not better at sinning than Jesus is at saving. And his perfect blood forgives your sin and makes you righteous to go to heaven forever one day and live life with God in heaven, here and now, today. See, when Jesus took his final breath that cross 2,000 years ago, the earth shook. And in that moment, the sin problem was taken care of and the sky goes black. And there was a. There was a curtain over at the temple. And behind that curtain, that's where the presence of God would dwell. Because God's presence can't be where there's sin. The sin must be atoned for. But that moment, that curtain split into two. Why? Because the sin problem was solved once and for all. And God can now be with his people. He no longer has to dwell in buildings behind curtains and wait for the right atonement here and a little bit more atonement there. Because Jesus did everything. His sacrifice was everything you'll ever need. It was perfect in every way, and it was what bridged the gap. I want you to see that cross on the screen and think, bridge between heaven and earth, which means the two are brought back together. But if you're like me, you're thinking, so wait a second, though. So heaven is here. Because I thought heaven was there. That's the place we're making more crowded, right? But you're saying it's like here and now. And you guys ask such good questions. I'll just let Jesus answer it. Luke 17:20 21. Jesus being grilled by the Pharisees on when the kingdom of God would come. Just like you guys are grilling me about this right now. He answered, the kingdom of God doesn't come by counting the days on the calendar. So never trust anybody who makes predictions based on that, nor when somebody says, look here or there it is. And why? Because God's kingdom is already among you. So heaven is already here, but not yet in its entirety. So if it feels like there's two different narratives happening around you right now, it's because there is. The first and most important narrative is this. The kingdom of heaven is gaining ground, and the church, as Jesus predicted, is being built. And not even the gates of hell are able to stop it. Even in the face of persecution. All it does is fan the flames of this blazing wildfire that is the church, you guys. More and more people are coming to know Jesus by the millions than ever before. Heaven is gaining ground. Is this not the crux of the Lord's Prayer, your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven? You can feel it at church. You can hear it when we worship, almost as if the veil between heaven and earth gets thinner as we worship together. You can see it in the grandeur of the mountains. You can feel it standing in front of the power of the ocean. You can feel it having a good meal with good friends or laughing with your kids. All of these things are quite literally pockets of heaven on earth, experiencing heaven in the here and now, because heaven is is already. And yet, if you watch the news or literally get on any social media platform and it seems like things are just getting worse and worse and worse, it's because, like Jesus said, the old is passing away. The Bible calls it like labor pains before the miracle of the baby is here. Romans 8 talks about creation groaning, crying out for Jesus to come back and just end the tension of this already but not yet era once and for all. In other words, like, we know why bad things happen, and we know why there's natural disasters, and we know why the wolf howls, and we know why the earthquakes and shakes and even the rocks cry out. It's almost like creation itself that is groaning, understands what your soul also knows. It remembers somehow what it was like back in Eden, before sin. It's like we have phantom pain that something is missing and we are trying desperately to get back there. And it's like, Jesus, would you. Would you come back once and for all so we could end the engagement and get to the marriage? And this is the tension where we live right now. Red rocks, the space between the already but not yet. Bible scholars call it inaugurated eschatology. Only reason you need to memorize that is in case you want to sound Smart. And drop it at group this week. It works. Hey, can we pray for you? Oh, yeah, man. Some things are awesome, but then, like, some things aren't. There's just, like, so much inaugurated eschatology happening in my life. And are you guys feeling this inaugurated escape like me already, but not yet. Answers the question of the title of my message. Why some miracles happen and some miracles don't. You ever pray for somebody and God answers it and then pray for somebody else, and he doesn't. You ever been that somebody else? Years ago, me and Ryan were in Fiji doing mission work. For months. We lived there, and I. It's crazy. He'll vouch for this. One of the craziest things I've ever seen. We prayed for this woman who had been blind her entire life. And in that moment, she got vision like it was. It was wild, guys. It was. I just saw a miracle. How did that happen? Why did that happen? Well, because heaven is already here. And in heaven, there's no such thing as blindness, and there's no such thing as cancer, and there's no such thing as disease, and there's no such thing as loneliness. All things are as they should be in heaven. And when heaven rushes in, death must leave in Jesus name. That's why she got her healing in that moment, because heaven is already. I've had chronic pain for 18 years. You guys know this. I have prayed every single day for a miracle. So have a thousand other people, and so far, I haven't gotten mine. Why? Well, because heaven is already here, but not yet. That's why. Some miracles happen already and some miracles haven't happened yet. But really, it's like, okay, that's relatively easy to answer theologically, but what about when the theological becomes personal? The deeper question behind that question is this. Why her and not me? Why did he get his miracle and not you? Holy Spirit, would you be here in this moment? Let's just go there, because this is real life. Why did their kid get healed? Why did they get pregnant and you haven't yet? I mean, for a lot of us, the word miracle, it actually stirs up disappointment and doubt. Maybe because, like, you prayed already and you believed and you even fasted and. Guys, can I just be honest? I'm tired of praying. I've never believed more that my miracle of healing is coming in 2026. And I'm so serious. And I can't wait to update you guys with the good news when. Not if, but when it happens. But if I could be honest, I'm Tired. And you might be feeling that right now. Like you've tried praying and you've believed and you were disappointed and now you're like, do I, Do I dare to fast again? Because if I get my hopes up and then I don't get a miracle in the year of miracles, will I never get it? And is God really not as good as I thought he was? Or does he just not like me as much as he likes them? Cause I tried this and it seemed like I got crickets from heaven and I couldn't see God at work in my life at all. And I mean, I just, I feel. Do I not have enough faith? Is something wrong with me? I feel like I got at least a mustard seed. I'm not trying to move a literal mountain into the ocean. I just want my dad to be healed. And some of those questions, like I know the answer to, like for instance, I know God is still good. I know his plans for you are as well. And I do know he's working even when you can't see him working, maybe most when you can't see it, what he's doing beneath the surface. And no, he does not waste a single one of your prayers in a single drop of your faith. He draws near to you in your pain. He counts every single tear that you cry. He speaks loudest to us when we're hurting the most. We just live in a very broken and fallen not yet world where we will have trouble and bad things just happen. But that's not a satisfying answer at all. Here's what else I know about a miracle mindset though. It's not just about what God does. It's about do you see what he's doing? We'll never know about all the tragedies that didn't happen because of God. And we'll never get to say thank you for all the car accidents or diagnoses that didn't happen because of God. But God is doing miracles every single day. The very fact that you woke up this morning because the sun rose is because the earth kept spinning at a perfect speed and at a perfect tilt. Every new day is a miracle. Every breath that you get to breathe is a miracle. The very fact that you exist and you are the way that you are from a million billion different reasons and factors. I'll say it this way, it is impossible that you are you and that you are here. Yet here you are. You are a living, breathing, walking, talking miracle. Do you have the mindset to see it? Cuz there's other questions Though where? My best answer, even as a pastor is this. I don't know. As high as the heavens are above the earth, that's how much higher his ways and thoughts are than ours. And maybe it's just nice to hear a pastor say, I don't know. I say that a lot in my pastoral meetings that seem to be getting more and more real as the years go by. I don't know. But I'm here. God is good, and we can pray. Like, how come God never took that thorn away from the Apostle Paul? The Apostle Paul, you guys. I mean, that guy did hundreds of miracles for other people and prayed every day. God, would you take this thorn from me? And Paul got the miracle. He needed salvation, but he never got the miracle he wanted this side of eternity. Why? I don't know. There's a story in Mark, chapter one, where Jesus spends the entire day doing ministry, and it's pretty awesome. And it says, after sunset, a long line forms of people with diseases and demons, and Jesus heals and frees every single one of them. It's so cool. But then it's the next morning. And verse 35 says, Jesus gets up before the sun to go pray. Of course he does. And his disciples are looking for him, and they finally find him. And they say, jesus, there's another line of people who need miracles. Let's go. And this is what Jesus Sundays in verse 38. But Jesus replied, we must go on to other towns as well, and I will preach to them. That's why I came. That's not that easy to preach. We read stories all the time about the miracles Jesus did. But what. What about the lines of people who still needed their healing when Jesus went to the next town? I don't know. I do know that God does not use a Magic 8 ball to determine what miracles happen and what miracles don't. I do know that even in his not yets, in his nos, he is accomplishing more than you could ever ask or imagine and working all things together for the good of those who love him. I know that. I'm certain about that. I know that. He's not this miracle vending machine where you type in the right cosmic code and you get the miracle that you need or want. D7 will get you a healing. Remember that one. B4 gets you a breakthrough. You do B4 while you're listening to breakthrough. Double breakthrough. What kind? It's a mystery box. Financial, spiritual, relational. It is a breakthrough, though. All right. You need a marriage miracle. Do this. Okay. Ephesians 5 read that five times because that's the number of grace. Then flip over to first Corinthians, chapter 13, obviously the love chapter, guys. And read that seven times, because seven is the number of completion. And then serving kids for seven weeks in a row, and boom, miracle in your marriage. And we're having fun. And I'm being facetious and hyperbolic, obviously, but I do think there is a part of each of us deep down, that goes, if I pray and fast enough, I can put God into my debt and you can't. Everything is his. The universe is his and the fullness thereof. God, I skipped lunch seven days in a row. You owe me a girlfriend. He doesn't, though. It'd be easier if he did. You know some things, I know some things I don't. I don't know why they got pregnant and you haven't gotten pregnant yet. I have this meeting weekly now, where I'm sitting across a coffee table from this couple through tears that's saying. I mean, doesn't God want us to be fruitful and multiply? That's what he said. Like, children are a blessing. He should want us to get pregnant. And I'm thinking. That's what I'm thinking. I don't. I don't get it, man. Like, I don't know why her dad was healed and your dad was not. I. I'm not trying to sell you a word for the year when God's ways are above my pay grade, but I also really, really believe that our faith moves the heart of God and that there are so many miracles that have already happened and are about to happen in our church this year. There's miracles for the taking, you guys. We have a miracle working God. I know that. I know that. I know that's true. Here's what also, I know. Your testimony creates authority in your life. Spiritual authority is the ability to bring heaven to places and spaces on earth where it currently is not. So for those of you couples who have been through infertility, that's your journey. You can talk to young couples who are where you were. Do you know how much authority you can speak to them with? And I could say better words than you to them, but your words weigh way more than my dude. They mean so much more than mine, because testimony creates authority, and that is no small thing. I can talk to somebody about addiction or withdrawals or freedom in. My words weigh a lot because that's my story. I can talk to somebody who's in chronic pain right now, and my words weigh a lot. Maybe even more so because I haven't been healed yet. Cause anybody can praise God after the miracle, but when you can say, you know what, he is still good and so are his plans. And he's a miracle working God. He is a healer. And I'm saying that now. I mean, guys, that is. There's authority to that. Testimony creates authority. Some things about God I know, and others I don't. I find a lot of comfort in this. My job as a pastor is not to be his defense attorney or to referee his sovereignty. My job as one of your pastors is to call our church to fast, to pray and to believe. Imagine this like if God's power to perform miracles was like the shower beneath this giant heavenly water faucet. Welcome to my imagination. You can't control whether it's turned on or not. That's what God does. But we can control whether or not we are positioned beneath it when or if God does. And there are certain things that heaven is just drawn to. And just three of the things to hammer home even more what Pastor Sean talked about last week, to hammer these home even more. That positions us beneath that waterfall of the grace and power of our God. We fast, we pray, and we believe. We fast, we pray and we believe. A quick word on each of those things and then we'll worship. We are a week into a 21 day fast as a church. How you guys doing? You doing okay? If this is news to you, I got great news for you. Welcome to 14 Days of Prayer and fasting that starts for you tomorrow. And there's all the practical logistics. I'm not going to go over them again. Go watch Sean's message from last week or Ryan's message from two weeks ago. They're so good. And they unpack all of the details. I'll. I have. I just want to encourage you about something in regards to fasting because I know how intimidating it is. It is as a spiritual discipline. This is not for the elite Christians, whatever that means. Nor is this for your super spiritual friend who prays more than you. This is for you. And you can do spiritually challenging things. You're called to it and you're up for it. Because fasting has such an unbelievable amount of power to change your life in so many different ways. Because this is actually not about a principle called fasting at all. It's actually about a person named Jesus. This is how it works. The principle of fasting just happens to be a fast pass, if you will, to the person who 2,000 years ago, walked out of the grave he borrowed after defeating death, grabbed a microphone and said, all the power and the authority in the entire universe is now mine. Can I just say something? That's the guy that you need to do your miracle. And fasting is how you get more of him in your life. So your life can change. That thing in your life can be different next year at this time. It can be, but not by your willpower. You need God's power and this is how you get it. So let me just give you one thought to chew on, since you're not gonna be chewing on much else for the next two weeks. Here it is. Don't think healthy, think hungry. And here's why I say that. Because nowadays fasting is a very trendy thing. It's like a buzzword in the health community for a lot of good reasons. There are so many Benny's benefits to fasting in a lot of different ways. The one maybe problem with that is we. We can be in church and hear about 21 days of prayer and fasting, and we automatically just assume the goal is my health. And of course, the end game is spiritual health. But as one of your pastors, let me just challenge you. I think you should be thinking healthy 365 days a year. And I think for 21 days every January, you should be thinking hungry. The goal is to get hungry. Justin early says, the body teaches the soul, get hungry. Create this void where something else that's better can come fill it. And instead of living for the things you want, you begin to live from the things you actually need. Get hungry and let your body teach something to your soul about hungering for the things of God in your life. Because two things Jesus said, those who hunger with will be filled. And some miracles only happen by prayer and fasting. Get hungry. Offer your body as a living sacrifice. We fast and we pray. And by the way, we pray because it works. Our prayers move God's heart. James 4:2 says, you do not have because you do not ask God. Which means some miracles haven't happened. And the only reason they haven't happened yet is because you haven't prayed for it yet. Miracles are a team sport. Ryan taught us that two weeks ago. Guys, over the last couple weeks on the Red Rocks app, a few thousand prayer requests have been submitted, and our staff and prayer teams are praying for every single one of them. Here's just a snapshot of them, by the way. Miraculous healing for Sophia's cancer. Healing for a father with Parkinson's. Real Prayers, real people. Let's just take a moment. If anything is jumping off the screen to you, it might be the Holy Spirit highlighting it in your heart for a reason. Pay attention to that. I want to take just a minute to practice the power of corporate prayer. I want to pray out loud and invite you to pray in your heart. You can pray what I'm praying or pray what God has highlighted in your heart right now. Lord, you see every single one of these prayers and you know every person behind the prayers. We lift them up to you. In Jesus name I pray for healing from my friend Noble, complete healing from his partially severed spinal cord that one day soon not only would he fully walk, but that he would run. In Jesus name we lift up our lead pastor to you, believing that you're going to completely heal him. Would you regenerate his brain? In Jesus name God, we lift up everybody in our church in need of a healing. You are the Great Spirit surgeon, the divine physician. Would you heal bodies? Would you heal brains and minds? In Jesus name we lift up everybody in need of a breakthrough. Would this be the year of breakthrough in Jesus name breakthroughs of all kinds. I pray for those who want to conceive that there would be so many pregnancies this year times, a hundred times, a thousand times in our church. In Jesus name God, would you do miracles? I pray for those who need divine direction to make a big life decision. Would you guide them? I pray for reconciliation for families and friend groups. I pray for peace for those who are having panic attacks. I pray for joy for those with depression or suicidal thoughts of joy on miracle levels, God, I pray that Sophia's cancer would evaporate In Jesus name, I pray all cancer would go to hell in Jesus name, it does not exist where your kingdom comes. So would your kingdom come and your will be done on earth and in our church in 2026 as it is in heaven. Would our human limitation meet your divine intervention? For you are the miracle working, God. So we call on your power in the name of Jesus. And everybody said Amen. Amen. Red rocks at every single location. Would you stand? We fast, we pray and we believe. We believe because miracles don't happen to the lucky. They happen to those who expect God to move in their lives. I want to show you what Jesus said to Bartimaeus in Mark 10:52. Jesus said to him, go, for your faith has healed you. And instantly the man could see and he followed Jesus down the road. I want to point out to you that Jesus says some version of your Faith. Faith led to this miracle seven different times in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke. And notice he does not say that your faith earned this miracle. He said your faith received it. Because our faith is God's delivery system for his kingdom come in your life. He loves faith, man. He loves, loves, loves when we believe. For even the Greek word behind faith means to be divinely persuaded by God. In other words, faith is not just a muscle that gets stronger as you exercise it. Faith is also a gift that God gives you. I believe the very first time because God divinely persuaded my heart that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. And so I just think one of the best prayers you can pray over the next 14 days as we finish this fast together is God. Would you divinely persuade my heart again? Because I haven't believed like that in far too long. I want to believe like the innocence of a little kid that has no reason to doubt or be disappointed that anything and everything is possible. When you're in the picture, would you divinely persuade my heart to believe that even greater things, things can happen, restore the joy of my salvation to me? I believe. Would you help me believe even more that all things are possible when you're in the picture? And guys, I don't know what it is that you're facing, how desperate the situation, how big the mountain is, but I do know that all throughout Scripture is story after story after story of imperfect people just like you and just like me, ordinary people who encounter the extraordinary goodness and power of this extraordinary God in their not so ordinary anymore lives. And they are forever changed because of it. The goodness of God, the fullness of all things being made fully new that we will know for the rest of eternity. It might not be complete yet, but heaven is already. Heaven is here already, which means anything and everything is miracleable for God. May you have a miracle mindset this year. Would you see the miracles he does every day? And would you believe for what feels impossible with every head bowed and every eye closed in every single one of our rooms? If you have never received Jesus into your heart and made him your Lord and Savior, I believe God is speaking to you right now. Your Creator, your maker, wants a relationship, not a religion, a relationship with you, for you to know him the same way he knows you. He's stirring something in your heart. He's giving you the faith to believe. And all you do is make a decision called love. A little bit of your faith in His Amazing Grace is all it takes. You say Jesus would what you did on the cross 2000 years ago Count for me? Would that be the final and only sacrifice I'll ever need? Would you forgive all my sin? Would you give me your righteousness in exchange so I can be in heaven forever? One day, then and there, and I can live in your kingdom come, in a relationship with you in the here and now? If you are making that decision in your heart, and I believe a lot of people are, I want to invite you to do something bold. And raise your hand. Raise your hand. Remember, it's the body that teaches something to your soul. It's not a hand raise that saves you. Your body is teaching something to your heart that you are making a decision that's leading to your salvation at every campus. Go ahead and raise your hand. Yes, Jesus, I make you my Lord and Savior. I'm done doing this my way. I'm done doing this the world's way, Lord. Let's do this your way. Amen. Amen. Amen. There's hands all over the place. You know what? Let's do this. Every location, go ahead and open your eyes. We gotta make some noise because heaven just got a lot more crowded. Do not miss it. That miracles just happened all around us. The greatest miracle, the miracle. We need the miracles for salvation. So, God, thank you that you are a miracle working God. And for everybody else who's praying for a miracle this year, I pray that your presence and power would draw near. I pray, God, that your presence would be here, which means miracles can happen. We bring our faith to the table. Our faith shifts the atmosphere all around us. Our faith is the delivery of system for heaven to show up in our lives. And so we bring our faith to the table right here and right now, believing that you can do anything and everything. So I pray that we would see miracles and we would tell stories for the years to come about the year 2026 in our amazing God, we love you. We pray this in your beautiful, wonderful, powerful name. And everybody said amen. Hey, this is what we're going to do. We're going to worship. But if you need prayer for anything in your life, our staff and leaders and prayer teams will be at the bottom, up by the stage, at every campus. Right now. You just start making your way up to the front of the room, up to the stage. Get prayer. Remember, the body teaches the soul. Use your physical body to make a move right now and leave your chair and walk to the front and get prayer. Because miracles are a team sport. Red rocks. Let's pray and let's worship.
