Current research indicates that adolescents lose interest in STEM learning by the age of 15 at a concerning rate - particularly girls from underserved communities.

UScellular is partnering with the YWCA on a national level to find out why, and address this gap. Based on the research findings from behavioral psychologist, Dr. Richard Rende, they are implementing a STEM empowerment initiative through YWCA's existing TechGYRLS program.
