Have you ever wondered if there is a resiliency quotient? Are resiliency and values directly correlated and do they impact each other? In the wake of challenge and adversity, does resiliency give us the strength to show up as our best self? How do we revisit our values and check-in with them? Join me as I meet with different friends, peers and leaders and we discuss their values, resiliency, and leadership. Over the course of many conversations, I hope to answer my burning question of whether there is a set of values that make one person more resilient than another and can they be taught.

“What if resilience isn’t about pushing through… but recalibrating?”In this episode, Caitlyn and I discuss identity, perseverance, letting go, and learning to navigate the unexpected.Together, we explore what happens when life doesn’t go according to plan and how resilience sometimes looks less like grit and more like giving yourself permission to evolve. This conversation explores:Letting go of plans that no longer fitWhat we can control and what we can’tRecalibrating identity as life evolvesWhy it’s okay to feel what you’re feelingMost importantly: Life happens. Plans change. And resilience isn’t about getting it perfect.Sometimes resilience looks like pausing, recalibrating, and trusting yourself enough to move forward anyway.🎧 Listen. Follow. “Resilience isn’t about avoiding the hard parts. It’s about moving through them.”In this episode, Jess Zucal and I explore what it really means to build resilience in the face of challenge, uncertainty, and emotional discomfort.Jess shares her perspective on the importance of feeling emotions fully, rather than bypassing them, and how true resilience is built by leaning into the hard moments rather than avoiding them. This conversation explores:The role of self-awareness in building resilienceThe power of the pause in breaking reactive patternsLetting go of control and surrendering to what isThe importance of community in navigating difficult seasonsExpanding our capacity to be uncomfortableThis episode is a reminder that resilience is not about perfection or pushing through. It is about reflecting, adapting, and trusting that if you have weathered hard moments before, you can move through them again.🎧 Listen. Follow. “Some days, resilience is simply getting out of bed.”In this episode, Sarah Bellendaine and I explore how resilience is fluid. It shifts depending on what we are carrying, how much capacity we have, and where we are emotionally in a given moment.Sarah shares a beautiful perspective: we each have a different “jar,” filled with our life experiences, grief, hopes, work, relationships, and responsibilities. Depending on what’s in that jar, our ability to cope and move forward changes. This conversation is a reminder that resilience is not about having it all together. It is about sitting with what is true, moving toward acceptance, and trusting that with time, support, and grace, you will get to the other side.🎧 Listen. What would you do if you were not afraid of the outcome? Not afraid of doing something different? Those questions came up in my latest conversation with Wendy Moore on the Resiliency Theory podcast. In this episode, we talk about what it really looks like to build a resilient life. Not in a single moment, but over time.Wendy shares how her perspective has evolved over the past 10 years from grinding, pushing through, and doing what needed to get done… to intentionally crafting a life that is more aligned, more sustainable, and actually allows her to thrive. At the center of that shift are the habits she’s built. Small, consistent choices that reflect her values and shape how she shows up.This conversation is a reminder that resilience isn’t just something we access in hard moments. It’s something we practice, build, and live every day.🎧 Listen. “Trust your future self.”That was one of the most powerful ideas that came up in my conversation with Jennifer Butler on the relaunched Resiliency Theory podcast. In this episode, we explore what it means to navigate uncertainty, make decisions without perfect clarity, and continue moving forward in moments of change.Jennifer shares a mindset I haven’t stopped thinking about: When you don’t have all the answers, you can still take the next step, by trusting that your future self will meet the moment. This conversation is a reminder that resilience isn’t about having everything figured out. It’s about continuing to move forward anyway.🎧 Listen. During episode 8, season 2, I had the privilege of interviewing Susan Mann. Susan is an Executive Coach | Certified Dare to Lead™ Facilitator | People Strategy & Culture Consultant. Her values are love, nature, and adventure - NUFF said. Susan is such an insightful leader and I so loved our conversation about resiliency. I really appreciated the definition she shared of integrity (Brené Brown's definition); integrity = courage over comfort. And how important it is to put our values into practice versus just professing them. This is so aligned to my concept of a values audit, checking in with yourself, and making sure you are being true to your values.Listen. Follow.
