Rob Cisterno
What's going on? Rob Cisterno back here for a Sunday night recap. That was exciting, but maybe a little frustrating. We did not get to see everything come to its full completion unless we watched the live feeds of this, the greatest nomination ceremony in Big Brother history. But there's so much to talk about here on Sunday night. We're so happy you're here. And we're so happy to be here with Major League Baseball's favorite podcaster, it's Taron Armstrong.
Taryn Armstrong
Oh, listen, I'm a messy boy.
Rob Cisterno
Get messy as soccer. Taren, baseball's your new thing.
Taryn Armstrong
Right, right. Sorry about that.
Rob Cisterno
Yes. Okay. All right. And fresh off of why Ashley lost with S.H. pell, it's David Bloomberg. David, how are you?
David Bloomberg
Good, good.
Taryn Armstrong
Yeehaw.
Rob Cisterno
You remember 1992, right?
David Bloomberg
Yeah, yeah, actually, I kind of do. It was, it was, you know, right when I started working, and now I'm no longer working, so I'm happier now, probably.
Rob Cisterno
Okay. All right. And we're also thrilled to have back here with us A.J. norris. A.J. how are you?
A.J. Norris
I'm doing good. But, but, David, I'm be honest with you. The RJP audience, they follow Rob and Taryn too much. We need to start a war. We need to go to war. We need to take over. They are not going to run this podcast like they always do.
David Bloomberg
I. I mean, you know, I'm, I'm really upset that they're getting too much camera time, I think too much. You know, if there were like, wait
Taryn Armstrong
and see who gets the powers.
David Bloomberg
Yeah, yeah.
A.J. Norris
Like, I know the RJP audience loves me. They're definitely gonna vote.
Rob Cisterno
Yeah, well, we got to see the BB time capsule and all of that here. They really did. There was a lot that they had to get to here on this Sunday night episode. We'll go through it all here tonight. And of course, if you're watching the episode live, the best place to be chatting along and following what all the alumni have to say. Boy, what the alumni were really talk. Talking a lot this weekend over on chat BCC go to bb28dotchat to find out the latest of what everybody's saying about the things from the episodes and also controversies from the live feeds. All right, boy, Taryn, we gotta get through these. We got a two parter here. We. I wasn't sure what we were gonna get. We kind of. That they did give us the nominations. They did not give us the aftermath.
Taryn Armstrong
Yeah. And you know what I mean in terms of the amount of time they had, I'm Honestly, not that mad. There was a lot of fallout that happened from this and it wasn't just limited to the ceremony itself. So regardless of how much they were gonna cut off, something was gonna get cut off.
Rob Cisterno
Yeah.
Taryn Armstrong
And so kind of putting it all in the next episode made some sense, especially considering that this was a 60 minute episode and Wednesday is going to be a 90 minute episode. And that continues to be a mistake in my eyes because we usually get better content on Sunday than Wednesday. But that's another story.
Rob Cisterno
Yeah. So we'll have to wait till Wednesday to see all of the fall. But that I guess, Taryn, without. I guess, I mean, what are we really spoiling? It's not like they told us there's going to be a fight. That this was a very interesting circumstance that happened on Friday night where we had the nominations and then the feeds came back like mid the ending of the nomination ceremony. Like we actually saw from where this ended onward on the feeds.
Taryn Armstrong
Yes. Yeah, we, I mean we. There's like a, a portion from the end of this episode to the beginning of the live feed started starting but before the ceremony ends that we, that we're still missing. But yeah, the feeds came back and Devin's had not ended the ceremony yet. There was still a lot of back and forth happening. So there's, there is a lot to look forward. They're not teasing something that's not gonna actually hit here.
Rob Cisterno
Yeah. Okay, so a lot that we will end up seeing here on Wednesday night. David, how are you feeling at this hour with Rick Devins and his nominations?
David Bloomberg
I mean, Rick, as I, as I have mentioned, Rick has been a guest on why Blank Lost. We know that he understands the strategy of things, but in the preseason, Chappelle predicted it perfectly and said he knows, but the showman in him is going to take over. And that was spot on. And I have to say, when, when, when Devin said, I'd rather go home playing a big game than stay playing a small game. Fans love that you want to see fun tv, but people evaluating strategy hate that.
Rob Cisterno
Yeah, yeah, look, Rick Devins is doing this for us. He's not doing it for him. Yeah, yeah. He's here for a good time. Not for a long time.
David Bloomberg
I mean, I'm hoping it's both because I do think that he still thinks about strategy and I think we'll see that, you know, maybe a little bit more going forward. But he also, when he can, when he can make something go boom, he's gonna make it go boom.
Taryn Armstrong
The vets have too Much of an advantage. They had a guaranteed first HOH. Now they're getting the powers 1, 2, 3, prob. They've got another HOH in their pocket. They're just trying to make it fun. They're just trying to make it a little more. They've still got plenty of advantage in. You know what I mean?
Rob Cisterno
Yeah. I'm glad we are getting to talk about this because I was thinking about this this morning. So we've watched Rick Devins play on Survivor for two seasons and to my knowledge, Rick Devins has almost never been in a good position. A cup for a couple days at the beginning of Survivor 50 really where Rick Devins has always played from the bottom. Rick Devins has never been on the top. I don't think that Rick Devins necessarily knows what to do from playing from the top. And when we think about people who have dominated and have been great at playing from the top, people like Boston Rob or a Kim Spradlin and we think about like a Derek in Big Brother, they play boring. They play, it's, it's dominant. It's, you know, a master class but it's not exciting. And ter. Rick Devins wasn't built for being in a good position.
Taryn Armstrong
When you're in a good position when you're at the top, you don't shake the foundation. You try to keep everything as calm and tidy and same as possible because you're in the good spot. The more things shake up, the more likely you are to fall off of that spot. So, you know, or at least it could be that way. So, so you do see those dominant players try to keep things a bit more stable. But again, like I actually, I don't even necessarily hate the move being made as much as the sloppiness in terms of like pulling everyone up into a room at night in a very obvious way. There's ways to have done this that wouldn't have been quite so potentially like exposing while still being really big and exciting.
Rob Cisterno
Yeah. A.J. i'd love to know from you because I thought that something that in, in watching this back, we didn't get the diary rooms and then we got Angela tonight talking about how I know Rick Devins, I know he's a showman and I, I do feel like a little bit that this was Angela really doing a master manipulation on Rick Devins.
A.J. Norris
I agree. I think Angela understood who Rick was as a player. Like she's seen survivors, she understands who Rick is and I think she pushed the right buttons for Rick. And I'm so Happy. She did, like, not just from, like, a pure entertainment standpoint, but I genuinely think where Rick was originally going with his nominations, I did not like for Risk game. I feel like the nominations, you end up with a lyric, with a melody, with a Jason were like the perfect noms for him. Like, lala didn't care what Rick was doing in this game. Like, Mallory. Mallory's just floundering around. Jason actively is once gone in the game, he's talked about multiple people. Melody is the most dangerous person that's not in his alliance, full stop. She has the best game awareness and she understands how to move. She might not be the best social player, but she's like, the person I would be terrified of. And lyric, she doesn't talk to the man. So it's like, I feel like these are, like, perfect nonsense for Rick. So it just so happens to be perfect that the fun, exciting move also happens to be the, like, best move, in my opinion, for this game. Like, the issue here, Rob, is Rick's allies. Like, and I know you said Rick is a showman. Like, Angela is the greatest showman. Like, okay, let's get the street. Like, Angela is here for the pizzazz. She's here for everything. It doesn't matter if she's an egg costume if she's not. She said, I'm here to go big. I want to take out Rome. I want to take a big shot at the other side. Like, why are we playing it safe? Like, she was so ready to win this competition and shake the house and she didn't care. She'll be in a good or a bad position. Like the fact that in the nomination ceremony, Angela, not Angel. Jason called Angela out being like, this is your noms. Like, it shows it. It shows in the. Like, I think that's perfect for it. Like, this is something Rick wanted to do. It benefits Rick's games and like, someone else is getting all the money for. And Angela and y' all talk about more on Wednesday or in the live feed update part. Haley. So I love this for Rick 100.
David Bloomberg
Yeah, I. I have to question. You know, I hate to question Angela. Do we really think that she had this idea to fire Devins up because she knows he's a showman or she just wanted him to do what she wanted him to do. And then she kind of talked about that in the diary room afterwards.
Taryn Armstrong
I mean, it had to come from somewhere. She certainly did approach him in a very fiery firing up kind of way. She brought the enthusiasm, and that is abnormal for how Angela has pitched things in the past, at least, certainly from her previous season. So I'm inclined to believe that it's something that at the very least she recognized was working in the moment, was able to comment on afterward.
Rob Cisterno
When he came to the house, she said he's a. She's a Survivor fan. She knows who Rick Devins is. So I think that Angela really, I think, is keenly aware of the right way to get Rick Devin excited about an idea.
A.J. Norris
Like, I think there's been like, some people online that's been, like, upset because they was like, hey, you put in three people who are returnees or veterans or icons, whatever you want to call them, and they're just going to work together. They're people that get along with each other. And like, yes, that is true, but these are through people that will hype each other up. Like, these are through people that will say, this is a bad idea. No, let's make this worse. Let's just keep doing it. Like, let's take a step further than what we have to take it to. And like, that's why I love these three people. Because it might not be a great game move, it might not be like a smart move, but, like, it's going to be fun tv. Like, these are for fun tv.
Rob Cisterno
We don't get the money if they win.
A.J. Norris
I don't care how good of a game you're playing. Am I enjoying the product? And so far the answer is yes.
Rob Cisterno
Yeah.
David Bloomberg
I just think it's so funny that they were so. They wanted to be so careful. Oh, well, now that the other side knows there's two sides, we've got to drop Ashley. I mean, not that Ashley was an integral part or anything, but we've got to drop her. We can't draw lines, you know, we can't let them know that we're here five minutes later. Okay, here we are.
Rob Cisterno
Yeah, I mean, it was a wild couple of hours from a 140 vote to hide the alliance to where we were by 4 o' clock in the morning on that night.
David Bloomberg
But it.
Rob Cisterno
Taryn, I'm just really. Angela, to me, is the.
A.J. Norris
Such.
Rob Cisterno
The interesting piece here in all of this because to me, like, Rick wants to. We know what he's. What motivates him as a player. He wants to. He thrives in chaos. He wants to blow things up. That's what gets him really going. But Angela, to me, I just have so many questions of what's. What's real. Like, what's, what's authentic. Like, does Angela, how much is Angela putting on the Angela character like she would an egg costume in terms of
Taryn Armstrong
this strategic maneuver or just in general
Rob Cisterno
in the house, fascinated by everything she does where that. Just the. The talking to herself. Even like when we watched her in the chair tonight, how much was, you know, as Angela knows she's on TV. Like, I would love to spend 24 hours with Angela not on TV and just watch how she operates.
Taryn Armstrong
I. I would. I don't think she'd be that. That different. I mean, obviously, you know, there's a level of playing things up, but it. I. I don't think she's like a different person. I think that she's just more external than. Than she normally would be in terms of, like, voicing her thoughts and the way that she's feeling.
Rob Cisterno
Yeah.
Taryn Armstrong
And she has an external monologue. Exactly. Because she's on tv. And that's part of what makes her good at being on TV is that she's able to externalize her internal feelings and thoughts and. And ideas in a way that's. That's pretty amusing. And I think that she very much is there. Like, she's expressed this as well. Like, she's, you know, 50. She was three years old. And she's like, the fact that I've gotten a second opportunity at this, like, like, I'm just trying to enjoy this as much as possible and like, just ride this experience out because I'm not going to get many more of them. And so she's. She's just living it up as much as possible and just like, feeling as much as possible.
Rob Cisterno
I think it's just been so fun to have her in this experience. And AJ she has now aligned herself with two people who've won back to back HOHs. And we know that. That Angela, I think, had what, two HOHs in Big Brother 26. But she did not really ever taste this kind of power. And it is kind of delicious to watch her impulses of what she wants to do with it.
A.J. Norris
Like, I think Angela is really coming in with a, like, chip on her shoulder because Angela is truly a fan of this show. She loves the show. And I don't think she loves. She came off last time. Like, when people were announcing that Angela was the returning player, there were so many people. It's like, no, not Angela. Why are we bringing back Angela? Angela's an annoying person. And I think Angel's like, no, I am like, this fun person and I can play this game. Like, I'm a super fan. I know what to do in this game. And I think, like, coming back this time. Angela, sure. Angela wants to win, but Angela just says, I'm gonna play my heart out. I'm gonna play the fullest. What I'm in a good position or a bad position. And let me tell you something, Rob. Power is so tempting. Power is so corrupting. Angela tasted power. She says, I will abuse it. I do not care who's in the kitchen at 3:30 in the morning. You will see that I am in control of your games. I got your game in my hand and I will throw it on the ground. Like, I love that from Angela. And like Tara was saying, this is 100 authentic Angela. Like, that's what I love most about Angela. It's like, you don't have to question, like, is this a real, like, Angela or is she hamming it up for the cameras? Angela's a ham in life. And like, we love that.
Taryn Armstrong
Yeah, Yeah. I mean, I, I think that the, the idea that, that Angela and this is something that people talk about a lot, but the idea of, like, being performative for the cameras or that Angela is like performing for the cameras. Like, I think it comes from a place that misunderstands what it means to be on camera. Like, when I say that she's externalizing her internal thoughts and feelings, it's. That is not the natural way she would be acting. So in that sense, yes, she's performing for the cameras, but she's performing what she actually thinks and feels. And there's a difference between that and just completely, like, faking, you know, a personality or the way you think an actor feel. And so I think that's. That's the key difference here.
David Bloomberg
Yeah, I see a lot of analysis on social media. When she cries, were there any tears? Was she. Was this a real cry? Was. Was this a fake cry for the camera? What. You know, so it is. There's a lot of people expecting her to perform. Oh, she wasn't really crying when she found out. She wasn't really upset when she found out what Jason had done or anything like that. And it's like, I think, I think that is real. You know, people may be coming at me, but I think that is real whether you can analyze and see a tear there or not.
Rob Cisterno
Hey, it's Ryan Reynolds here from Mint Mobile.
Taryn Armstrong
Now, I was looking for fun ways to tell you that Mint's offer of unlimited Premium Wireless for $15 a month is back.
Rob Cisterno
So I thought it would be fun if we made $15 bills, but it turns out that's very illegal. So there Goes my big idea for the commercial. Give it a try@mintmobile.com Switch upfront payment
A.J. Norris
of $45 for three months, $90 for six months or $180 for a 12 month plan. Required $15 per month equivalent to taxes and fees. Extra initial plan term only greater than 50 gigabytes. Me slow when network is busy. See terms.
Rob Cisterno
Let's go back through the events of the episode and I want to ask some questions about. We traveled back to June 30, 1992. It was the achy breaky summer. David, I want to know, did you. Did you do the. I'm trying to the dance. The achy breaky dance.
David Bloomberg
I did not. I absolutely did not. I believe I was more. More inclined to have listened to Weird Al's version Achy Breaky song, which I believe goes. Don't you play that song, that Achy Breaky song. I just can't take it anymore.
Rob Cisterno
Okay. All right. Well, we went back to 1992 for the Achy Breaky summer and we had to boot scoot immediately. Everybody needed a partner and we saw much like in Survivor 50, we had to double up into pairs. It was good to not have a pair. Rick Devins got to skip ahead. But Taryn, I could have sworn that in the fallout of everything from Friday night, wasn't there something about Melody did something to Rick Devins?
Taryn Armstrong
Yeah. This is by far the biggest omission of this episode and it's a really key part of it. If you are not follow a follower of the feeds, there's a chance if you're a keen eye, keen eyed observer that you would be like, wait, why did Melody go up on the block? Is. Is. Was there just no reason? Was it just that Devin was like, oh, and Melody. Right. There's actually a very specific reason and it was a big part of the. The night in terms of Devin's motivation for why Melody went up on the block completely cut out of the episode. And it's that during this competition they basically had this initial thing where they picked pairs and then Devins was left out. And then they turned. Turns out you compete against your pair, then Devins comes in and they pick pairs again. And so what happened was initially Devin's had paired up with Melody when they still thought that it was competing against your pair. But something kind of like got leaked, got misfired. It was. It was like it didn't go right. It was exposed to them that, oh, you're actually working with your partner, not against your partner. They reshot It. And we saw the reshot version where instead of being with Devins like she was before, this time around, she cozied up to Drew. And in Devin's mind, that was like, oh, so when you thought we were competing against each other, you were happy to pair up with me, but when you know that we're competing with each other, you want to compete against me. That's kind of a shot fired across the bow there. Like, I feel like I'm putting down what you're picking up or picking up what you're putting down.
Rob Cisterno
Yeah. I knew that there was something, and then I couldn't figure, based off of how the competition went in the episode, I could not figure out what. What on earth had happened.
Taryn Armstrong
Yeah. And I. I guess, like, the. The thing here is that because it was seemingly like a production error that caused. Caused this thing to happen, they just left it out of the episode. But like, it's so important in terms of, like, they talked about it all night. They still keep talking about it. It's a huge thing. And now it just doesn't exist in the text of the show. And that's kind of wild.
Rob Cisterno
Yeah, it's kind of.
David Bloomberg
I wondered. Go ahead. I wondered the same thing. Why it wasn't there. I kept waiting for it. I'm like, where? Where is it? They certainly could have shown it, but it being a re shoot definitely explains that they don't want to expose that there even are re shoots. Probably.
A.J. Norris
Yeah.
Rob Cisterno
I mean, it's wild that they even let them switch.
David Bloomberg
Yeah. Yeah.
A.J. Norris
I think that's like a bad move on Melody. Like, not just. It just so happens that Rick happened to win HOH and he used this as an excuse to put up Melody, comma. But you saw what Angela did. Angela was on Jason like glue. Like Angel's. Like, if I'm going against Jason, then I could knock Jason out. But if I'm working with Jason, then I have a chance to move forward in the game and still beat Jason. Like, melodies linking up, not linking up with Devin's makes a pair of Devin and Haley, two people that Melody does not want to win hoh. And if what happened we saw play out today where they were the pair that wins, now you got a zero percent chance. Meanwhile, if you kept it separated, say, you won't work for Devins, you got 50 chance. Or if Drew was with Haley, you would have a 50 chance in your mind. We know where you really stands in your mind. You has a 50 chance of winning this HOH. So, like, I think it's bad. Like consolidating your entire alliance or people you trust in, like one group, like, you should have it as spread out as you want, but, you know, it's the heat of the moment for life, 100%.
Taryn Armstrong
And not to mention the fact that, like, if she does move ahead with Devins and it becomes a final two of her and Devins, like, maybe she doesn't want Devins to win, but at least then if he does, it's the two of them having a chance to talk, to be like, hey, no matter which one of us wins, we're both good. Which is not foolproof. But it's a hell of a lot more of a something than abandoning the Devins team and. And caught doing so.
Rob Cisterno
Yeah. All right, so it comes down to then after Rick and Haley end up passing Angela and Jason, they're the final two. They're gonna go head to head. Now, I thought that they. They worked us through where Rick says he's. He's willing to let Haley have it. I am surprised that there weren't more people asking a question of. It seemed like almost like an obvious throw from Rick Devins in that he ended up just going for the. One of the shortest there. There were like four spaces that were in front of them, and he ended up going for. I think it was a 35 that was right in front of him, but there was a 42 that was also right in front of him. And I don't know, maybe it's because he wins. Hoh. Nobody's asking these types of questions. But Taryn isn't that. Isn't that weird that to go for the one right in front, but to not go for the highest one right in the front?
Taryn Armstrong
I agree. Yeah. I. It is weird not to mention that because he was trying to get Haley to beat him with like a 50, which is what she had been getting. So it didn't even matter necessarily which one of those two he would have gotten. And I also just felt like if you really. If you really cared about throwing and maybe he didn't care that much, try to miss the thing right off the table. Right. I mean, don't go that far necessarily, but like, go for one of the circles. Go for one of those higher circles.
Rob Cisterno
Yeah.
Taryn Armstrong
But then intentionally go a little too far and oh, damn, I hit the 5 instead. And now you've basically guaranteed your loss and given Haley an easy shot.
Rob Cisterno
I mean, we don't think Haley would then out through it, do we?
A.J. Norris
I do.
David Bloomberg
I saw. I saw that on Blue Sky Yeah,
A.J. Norris
that there was like, like the, where the area where Haley threw her puck hook, whatever it's called. I do not care where she threw it. It was like both of the front two hats were lower than Rick Dennis number, and if she was trying to get higher than Rick Devin, she would have at least done it with more force or aimed it at a different area. So I'm not saying she threw it,
Rob Cisterno
but I'm saying it was really bad. But I, I see. I think that the one where she was going, the, the first thing, like, where Rick went, if she went. If she left it short, was higher than Rick Devins, but she left. She let it go too far.
Taryn Armstrong
It was a mess. Looking at it, I would have thought she threw on purpose in the diary room. She says she didn't. That doesn't necessarily mean. Yeah, that's true. But nobody's really questioned any of it in the house.
Rob Cisterno
Yeah, she did say she wouldn't. She doesn't mind not getting the blood on her hands. And again, I don't think that she threw it. But just in the way that this has all played out.
David Bloomberg
This.
Rob Cisterno
I feel like this kind of has gone pretty well for the Red Corner this week where that Rick has really emerged as the figure where every. All the good work that the vets did in. And, and I, I, I'm not, I, I don't want to pile on the, the vets too much here in week two, but all the great work that they did in week one to hide themselves, I feel like it's kind of being, like, flipped around where, like, Red corner is able to elite, like, now sort of, like, hide behind the vets.
Taryn Armstrong
To be fair, it shouldn't have worked out that way. Like, if the vets were playing this a little smarter, it would be worse for Red Corner rather than better. Right.
Rob Cisterno
But, you know, I think they're having a good week.
David Bloomberg
Yeah. Yeah.
Rob Cisterno
Okay, so we have our hoh. It's Rick Devins. He comes back into the house, and we see how Rick starts things, and ultimately where we go by the end of the night. He actually says at one point that he's gonna, like, go to bed early, but really we'll focus our attention on Rome and Rick Devins. And they, they had an interesting connection through week one. And Rome comes to Rick. He has a bunch of people he wants to protect. Ultimately, the key things that he says, hey, as long as it's not me and Lyric and Jason are the three, we can, we can have a good understanding.
Taryn Armstrong
Yeah. And this is just such A such a rookie mistake from Rome, really, in many ways. Like, I don't think that Devins would have been as inclined to make this move if Rome hadn't served himself up on such a silver platter. Just, you know, you shouldn't name any names, really. To an HOH in this spot where Rome has an undercover connection to Devin's and has already gotten word from Devin's that he's safe, but an indication that Lyric might be in trouble. The main thing here is, like, hey, what can we. What can we do to. To keep Lyric off the block, too, if possible? Like, I really do still want to work with you. And, like, let's. Let's work something out. It's not. Let me start, like, we're not negotiating, like, salary. Like, let me start with my big number. It's gonna be six people. Six people. And then name them all.
Rob Cisterno
Yeah.
Taryn Armstrong
And then immediately cave and be like,
Rob Cisterno
all right, well, if I had to
Taryn Armstrong
boil it down, the most I could afford to do here is two extra people. All right, Just maybe two extra people. And then name those people as well. Like, you've now exposed to Devin's that there are six people ahead of him in line. Like, and. And then give him your pecking order of those six people. It's like, you almost have to take the shot at that point. You can't just sit on that kind of information.
David Bloomberg
Yeah. It's like, well, the. Yeah, I'm selling you this car. The lowest I can do is 20,000. And then the person shakes their head, okay, the lowest I can do is 10,000. You know, it's like, well, I didn't even come back with another number. I was gonna go to 18, but, okay, if you're gonna give me 10, I'll take 10.
Rob Cisterno
Yeah.
A.J. Norris
Well, it'll be one thing if it was. If he just said Lyric, it'll be like, okay, no one can blame Rome for saying, just don't nominate me and my homegirl.
David Bloomberg
Like that.
A.J. Norris
That's all I ask. Like, no one will be upset with that comma. But, like, naming your people and then showing that Jason's your number one ally. That's not someone you're making out with. It's, like, so bad. It is. It is genuinely so bad. Like, Rome is so unfortunate that, like, Angela is a player. And, like. And also, these are players. Like, these are Rick Devins. Like, you can't trust Rick Devins. Let me tell you something your number one ally has been telling you for weeks. At this point, you cannot trust this man. Do Trust anything that this man says to you. Do not fall in line with him. And yet Rome's like, listen, I'm the president, man. I can do this. Like, let me show you how it's done.
Taryn Armstrong
You don't understand my relationship with Evans. I got this under control. Jason. Don't worry about him.
Rob Cisterno
You know, it's interesting about Rick Devins. When you say you can't trust Rick Devins, it's like, Rick is such an interesting person because it's like, if you are. If you are one of his people, he's one of actually the most trustworthy people that has ever been on one of these shows. Like. Like, he will not lie to his people, but if you are not one of his people, like, he will, like, relish lying to you and tricking you. Like, I think.
Taryn Armstrong
I think what's funny is that that was his reputation from Survivor, but I think big brother has already exposed that. Like, that reputation for loyalty might have been a little situational. Like, you know, like, not only did he turn around and stab Rome bag here, but he's already kind of double dealing with his own allies a little bit in the big brother house. Like, you know, power corrupts, and so does big brother, I think.
Rob Cisterno
Yeah. All right.
A.J. Norris
So I think the big. The biggest thing with Rick, though, is I think Rick is at the end of the day, here for a good time, not expected to be here for a long time. Like, Rick. Rick. Actually listen to Serena. Rick does not want to be here all summer. Like, I believe wholeheartedly he does not want to. He just wants to have fun, get his check and go home. And he's gonna have a good time while he's here. And if he happens to win, I risk Devin's gonna be happy about it. He's gonna be like, yep, I played a good game, xyz. But if I go home, I happen to go home, I get to see my wife, my kids.
David Bloomberg
Yeah, I'm happy.
Rob Cisterno
Yeah. I don't know if it will be as fine of a point on. On that. Like, I think he is not afraid to go home. I think that that's probably the best way to say it. Like, I don't think he's going to try to engineer his own exit as we get close to the jury. I think he wants to have as much fun as possible, and I think that he just is like, hey, I've got a great life. I've got a good thing going.
David Bloomberg
If.
Rob Cisterno
If I go home, I go home. You know, let's. Let's. I Mean, he's playing very free.
A.J. Norris
I agree.
David Bloomberg
Yeah. And I wonder if that will change once if he makes it to jury. Like, okay, now you don't have the situation of, oh, well, if I, if I blow things up and it comes back to bite me, I still don't get to see my family, you know, so is that going to alter the way he plays at that point?
A.J. Norris
And I'll say Rick Devins is like, I think the most interesting person I enjoy watching this season. Like, watching the way he moves and the way like this should be like, Rick's like death nail. Like, the other side should be going to war with Rick and want his head on the stake. But Rick is like such a good social player. Like, he has such good ties with other people. He's such a welcoming person. Like, he's not getting as much blowback as you would think that someone who just pulled off the biggest move at the head of what's going to be the most dramatic nomination ceremony ever. And Rick, I genuinely don't think Rick needs to sweat next week. Even if, like, someone on the other side wins. Like, I think there's, like, Rick is positioned himself so well. That's why I'm so interested. Like, he's like, willing to play balls to the wall, but also there's a part of him that just. I'm naturally good at this. I naturally can do this.
Taryn Armstrong
People underestimate how valuable, like, relative transparency can be. That, like, he's making this big move but doing so in the most transparent way possible. And, and, and also, to be fair, this is in part due to, like, Drew helping him out and sort of like diverting some attention away. But, but because he's still able to just have conversations with people, there's nothing personal in anything he's doing. Yeah, it really opens the door for, for the relationships to, to like, to. To be maintained in some kind of like the, the lines of communication stay open.
Rob Cisterno
Yeah. Taryn, he really brings, like, a real sportsmanship to everything that he does where. Yeah, I don't think that he is going to get into any real, like, like shouting matches, name calling. Let's just not going to be a part of what he does.
Taryn Armstrong
Yeah, just like a real emotional maturity that I think comes from the compartmentalizing the game versus, you know, personal feelings, but in a good way, in a way that's not like, like, oh, I'm cutthroat and ruthless and I don't care about how you feel about it. In a way that's like, I've Separated game. And I feel bad for you in this moment as well that you're feeling bad, but I'm still going to make the move that's right for me, especially
Rob Cisterno
here in this house. I think that he really feels like, hey, I, I'm older than all these people, and I think he does really like the cast, and I think that he does not really want to, like, he wants to win, but he also, I think, feels bad at times that these people are much younger than him.
David Bloomberg
Yeah, there's. There's a clip and I, this is a live feed clip, but it doesn't give anything away where he has been talking to somebody and then they leave and he says, I, I, I, I'm their dad. I'm like their dad. I just came here to play a game and I'm like their dad.
Taryn Armstrong
And he's America's dad.
David Bloomberg
Yeah, he is. But, yeah, Rick, you gotta remember you're not their dad, you know, And I think usually he does, but sometimes that's maybe a little overwhelming, especially, you know, since he's missing his kids and now he's got these people, some of them, looking up to him in that way, and he has to. It's got to be difficult for him. But yes, I do think that he's doing a good job of compartmentalizing and explaining that I'm not doing this because I don't like you. You know, even when we saw him sit down with Rome and say, yeah, things are not going to go the way that you thought. And Rome's like, should we be cutting off lines of communication? And Rick's like, yeah, I think we should. Yeah. I mean, it's, it's a funny way out. Hey, we're going our separate ways. You know, usually in the Big Brother house, that would come with a lot more yelling.
Taryn Armstrong
Yeah, There is something else here, too that was left out of the episode. That was just point out in chat that I, that I did appreciate from Devin's hoh, which is that he made it a point very early on he did not want to nominate anybody that was nominated the week before, which is a huge departure from how HOHs generally work in Big Brother. Those are the easiest people to renominate because they have more people to be mad at. They've been on the block before. And I don't think it's, like, good strategy to not nominate them again. But I do appreciate that it brings something different and more interesting to the table for the show. And so I'm kind of sad the episode didn't bring it up as part of like, oh, look at him as a good fun hoh. He doesn't re nominate people.
Rob Cisterno
Taryn, do you think that that was actually something that he felt strongly about or do you think it was, you know, these nominations ended up being like her rubric was that I was picking from the three groups. It ended up being kind of more random people than necessarily her targets and that it just worked out this way that the people he wanted to target just didn't happen to be any of those nominees.
Taryn Armstrong
Yeah, he talked to D about this. He would have been willing to break that pledge if necessary, but he wanted to hold to it if he could. So it did seem to come from a genuine place of just not wanting to do Rena on them because it's. It's been a topic of conversation. Again, a lot of these players came in with some baseline level of knowledge of like, how things generally play out. And so a lot of people were talking about how like, yeah, I go up on the block once you get renamed a lot. And so I think he actively wanted to go against that curve and. But again though, like, if he needed to, he would have, have. He would have broken that pledge.
A.J. Norris
And I would say real quick, I think that's been my least favorite part of Rick Devin's hoh thus far and not because. Because let me tell you something, I love it. Stop putting nominee the same people over and over week after week. I hate that. I genuinely hate that. But for Rick's game, I don't see him doing enough with Taylor, with Yash, with Mallory to make them feel good that he has not nominated them to make them feel more included. Like he's like sparing them and like next week if they win, they're going to think like, so what, like, they might give him pass, but like he has not put in the work with those three in particular to be sparing them and just let them do what they want. Like, Rick should have been more on top of them.
Taryn Armstrong
All three of them have talked about potentially nominating Rick or going after his allies in subsequent weeks and it's largely because, yeah, despite doing a massive solid for them, hasn't been enough follow up. He's tried with Yash a bit, he's had some conversations with Mallory and Taylor, but he just doesn't have any actual relationship with them. So it's like he's not actually getting anything out of this.
Rob Cisterno
I want to go back to that conversation with Rick and Angela and Rick was, you know, thinking about a more measured approach to His HOH first. And then Angela brings him into. I like how Rick described it as the inside. The bunker inside of the HOH bathroom. And she got him and she said, hey, Rome needs to go. We're all doomed. And it like, there was like a switch that went off. He's like, oh, you know what? I want the smoke. I'm ready to go to war. He's like. He's like. I remembered. He's like, oh, yeah, I'm Rick Devins. And he wanted. He wanted to do it. He thrives in chaos. And he says, now I want a war.
Taryn Armstrong
And he has a. He's a reputation to live up to. And if you. If you position him to have to be the buzz kill, I don't think he's ever giving in there. If you. If you frame it to him like, oh, dude, you're. You're killing our vibe. I think he's gonna be like, all right, let's do it. Okay. Because I do think that, like, Devin's cares a lot about the. The reputation he's built, the image that he has from going on Survivor. He's a fun loving, positive guy who's there for chaos and to just, like, you know, Joy good tv. Yes, joy. Exactly. And so if Angela comes up and she's like, I don't know, I think it's scary, but it would be really exciting. This is big brother. He's gonna be hard for him to turn that down. You saw how quick it flipped that switch.
Rob Cisterno
Yeah.
A.J. Norris
And I would like to pig back off of what Taryn just said. I think I. I don't like Rick as the person who start the war for Rick's personal game, but I think Rick is the perfect person to start this war because it's just game. It's just fun. He's just like, here to have a good time. Like, there's nothing personal. Like, this is a. Or, sorry, Rome, you're just too big of a threat. Sorry. X, Y, and Z. Meanwhile, if someone like Haley won it, it would have got a lot more personal. If. And not because Haley's like this person that's like, oh, making personal jabs. That's Y and Z. It's just the way that people feel about Haley makes it a lot more personal. The way if Angela won it, it would be a lot more personal. Rick Davis is a guy like, yeah, I'm coming at you. But, like, you're still amazing person. I still. Let's. Let's keep this a fun summer. Let's keep this a healthy environment. Meanwhile, other people in this house, I feel like we wouldn't have got that. That. Which is why I'm appreciative of Rick being the person to do it.
David Bloomberg
Yeah, I. I feel like Rick had the opportunity to get personal with Jason because he knows what Jason did with the slop Rice Krispie treat situation for his daughter's birthday, and so he could have used that. And I was thinking he was going to use that, and as far as I know, he really didn't mention it. Now, who knows what happens in the, you know, after the record scratch and the HOH or in the nomination ceremony, but it, you know, we're talking about personal versus game. That is very personal and I think would have been a very good reason to nominate somebody, and yet it doesn't seem to have now. Part of the reason, of course, it was left out of the edit was the original situation was left out of the edge, out of the edit. So that. That may be why. But I don't remember, and Taryn helped me out here. I don't remember him really discussing that a lot, even on the live feeds when it was. When it was. When he was thinking about it hasn't
Taryn Armstrong
really been a topic for those that. That don't follow the feeds. Another thing that Drew ratted out to Angela and Jay and. And Devin's when he talked about how Jason made the face to the cameras when he was talking to Angela was that Jason had also planned this whole thing where he was going to make these Rice Krispies slop treats for Devin's daughter's birthday as a way to, like, get in with him and, like, emotionally manipulate him. And so Drew let Devin's know ahead of time. And Devin's had been really touched by it when he heard about the idea. And then I was like, oh, wow, it worked on me. That was really, like, weird and personal. But, yeah, never really seemed to confront Jason about it in any significant way. Happy to let Angela do the confronting and all of that stuff.
Rob Cisterno
It's kind of a weird thing to get mad about after the fact. Like, if somebody wanted to do, like, nice things for me, but they had, like, like negative intentions. But they still, like, they still made me lunch and it wasn't poisoned or anything. And I found out, like, oh, no, they just did that for you because they were. They wanted to get on your goods. I like, okay, whatever.
David Bloomberg
I mean, it's not the getting on the good side. It's the backstabbing plan. But he never did the backstab. He's like, he didn't have an opportun too, you know, because he got. He got ratted out beforehand.
Taryn Armstrong
So I think Rob's. I think you. I think is smart play because I think you do come off petty, even if you're in the right here to be like. Because even Angela, who I think is a great case, it's like you.
Rob Cisterno
You made a.
Taryn Armstrong
You made a face at the cameras and it's like when you. When she says that, it doesn't sound as bad as it did when you. We watched it. It's like, it's harder to convey when you're trying to call someone out like that.
Rob Cisterno
Yeah.
David Bloomberg
Yeah.
Rob Cisterno
All right. So Taran, they had to yada, yada, a lot of this with getting everybody up into the hoh room and then going to go wake up Barrett and then ultimately Rome coming in. So what do you feel like that they missed, including in this sequence of meeting up in the hoh room?
Taryn Armstrong
Not that much, to be honest. They did. I think they did this justice for the most part. They caught the Rome suspicion, the doorbell ringing, the excitement up there, the creation of the tool shed alliance, which there is a little bit more behind. I talked about that this morning. I was hoping we would maybe get something there, but obviously they didn't have much time. It's. It's still kind of currently unclear to me if this is a real alliance that Drew came up with as a kid or if, if. Or if this was like pre planned between him and Kamu or if it's a lie to Kamu. But that's not really the point. I, what I'm saying is not much. We kind of caught the bulk of it.
Rob Cisterno
How about this? Okay. I think that they took some artistic license. I think that they did Rome dirty. I don't think Rome rang the doorbell 27 times.
Taryn Armstrong
No. Yeah, he. He rang it like twice. But he did stand outside. Yeah, I think it's. It's all sort of within the realm of the vibe, though. You know, it's. It's not like when they edit conversations to be way more awkward than they are. It was very awkward, this whole situation. So I think it. It felt spiritually correct.
Rob Cisterno
Yeah. Even if they went a little overboard with the sound effects there. And then ultimately they come downstairs and they are just walk past Rome and Jason and Lyric and that was. That was so awkward.
Taryn Armstrong
It's gonna be a big day.
Rob Cisterno
And why was d like, hey, your eyes are really red. Eyes are really red right now.
David Bloomberg
I, I probably because it was 4:30 or 5 in the morning. And at that point, you just say whatever comes to mind.
Taryn Armstrong
I think it's. I think you just kind of. It's like a stalling tag. Like, you've got like. Okay, I've got about 10 seconds where I'm walking of Rome that he could be talking to me if I start talking. Hey, Rome, your eyes are really red. What's up with that? Is. Is your eye.
David Bloomberg
Do you.
Taryn Armstrong
Have you noticed that your eyes are. Oh. Anyway, see ya.
A.J. Norris
I'm just saying, like, the.
Taryn Armstrong
The.
A.J. Norris
The gumption these bombs had of ignoring this man and then all deciding to come down at the. That same. Damn right, bro. Piss. What pissed me off? She would have sent me to the moon.
Taryn Armstrong
That's. That's me when Chappelle text me. What
A.J. Norris
are you gonna take that
Taryn Armstrong
I didn't notice?
Rob Cisterno
All right, well, let's talk about the BB time capsule. We got to see how this played out on the episode. And Angela finds out that she is the first winner of the BB time capsule. AJ any surprised that it was Angela who wins week one?
A.J. Norris
I'm not really too much surprise for me, personally, because I adore Angela now. And I also think because of the host Jason situation, like, she has a lot of, like, people that are supporting her were on her side because of this. She's also a returning person, so she has more cachet than, I think, a lot of people. So I'm not surprised that Angela, in particular was the person that won it. I am so happy that she won it. I am so happy what the competition actually is. I was terrified what it was going to be, and it was going to take up a lot of time. And so when it didn't, I was like, thank goodness. And listen, I am so happy of the outcome that occurred. Could not happen to a nicer person.
Rob Cisterno
Yeah, Tara, I was surprised. I thought Rick was going to be the winner of the. The first recipient of this. And I think that it speaks to maybe the phenomenon that Jason was upset about, where Jason, who has, you know, a big, big Instagram following, thought that maybe his fans were portable. But I think that there's a real home field advantage to the people who are fans of Angela. Every person who's a fan of Angela is watching Big Brother. You cannot say the same for the people that are from Survivor or from Drag Race.
David Bloomberg
Right?
Taryn Armstrong
Yes, I think that's a huge part of it. I think you also cannot underestimate the power of the edited episode and the. The biggest, most emotionally pulling thing of the season so far that took place just a couple of episodes ago was the Angela Jason stuff, where she was devastated by what Jason did to her. And that's a huge sympathy at it. Like, that's. She was bound to get that. Not to mention just being very present in the edit, getting a very positive edit in the first place. She was edited to. Remember, we talked about, like, Rome summoning people to the gym. She had this paranoia that there's this larger meeting that took place, but in the episode, they edited it to be her accurately clocking the three of them in the gym. They're. They're really, you know, they're giving her a good edit and they're. She's very present. She has that moment. On top of all of that, she's a Big Brother player that people know. Even if she's, as Julie would say, controversial with the fan base, it doesn't really matter. You're not voting against people, you're voting for people. And so she's bound to get the most amount of individual votes for her here.
Rob Cisterno
And so she goes into this, a BB time capsule, and we see this mechanism. Now, this was similar to a comp that they ran in. In BB26. What's the backstory on. On this comp that we have the gif of Angela.
Taryn Armstrong
Yeah. So in. In the start of season 26, they had this competition where they were spinning them around and they had to, like, keep track of colors or something, and then, like, hit the right buzzer to, you know, which. I don't remember exactly the details, but the point was you're trying to, like, remember something that was being flashed in front of you. Whereas this is not really a competition at all unless you're that guy that. That, you know, was able to game the system. But, like, quite frankly, I don't even think that this is. I don't think this is anything. I think this is. I think Angela has a little brother controller in front of her, and production has a button that says, we want Angela in an egg costume.
Rob Cisterno
Yeah. Because I did not get the sense that the BB time capsule was going to be the same thing every single week. I thought you're going to be doing, like, a comp. But aj, I. I'm getting the feeling that it's gonna be, go, go sit in the spinny chair every week, which,
A.J. Norris
like, listen, I. I love it, baby. Like, give me two minutes on my TV show. I'm fine with that. Take as little time as you want. Like. Jesus H. Yes, please. Now, with that being said, I do not like the amount of control production could have possibly over the outcomes.
David Bloomberg
However.
A.J. Norris
However. However. If it's similar to today, do I have faith in them? Low key. Maybe they didn't earn it, but they have it.
David Bloomberg
I mean, even if it is truly random, it's interesting because I think viewers now have to take that into consideration when you're voting. It's not okay. If I vote for Devin's next week, he'll have to put together a four piece puzzle. I know he can do that. Therefore he'll, he'll be okay. It's. We don't know what will happen, so
Rob Cisterno
we want him to sit in the spinny chair. Let's go.
David Bloomberg
If you're a big fan of Devin's and he's probably next up on the popularity list, I would say if you're a big fan and he's coming off of HOH so he could be in danger, you have to decide, okay, am I potentially putting him in more danger or could I give him a power? I think when you're coming off of HOH and you've done what he has done so far, then yeah, you, you. If you're a fan of his, you do want to vote for him. But other people have to make those decisions and balance. Okay. It is truly a coin flip.
Taryn Armstrong
Well, what I think is interesting to me there was an implied sense of, of scarcity with the options. They were numbered one through six. Like each. Each number is attached to a specific thing, which implies to me that Angela has now received one of the three punishments and that there are now only five options left, three powers and two punishments. If that were the case and you take it at face value that it's random, the next person to receive a power is going to have better odds of getting that power than Angela did. And so it's theoretically more advantageous to get the next one because the next one is again, the odds are more likely and they're. If they get a power then the next person will have 50, 50 odds again. And so, so, you know, you could try to game it out that way, but that is kind of resting on a few different assumptions.
David Bloomberg
Yes.
Rob Cisterno
Yeah, I guess we should be on the edit watch for this week. I don't think that there was anybody that really rose to prominence that could be a sneaky BB time capsule person. Right. We'll see on Wednesday.
Taryn Armstrong
I, I will tell you that in the house. Devins is very concerned that Rome will, will receive a power for being on the other end of a.
Rob Cisterno
He's fine, he's fine.
A.J. Norris
I'll be about 50 with you. Like, every second I spent on that man's face, I'm like, why are we continuing to zoom in? I'm uncomfy now. Like, like, I'm not sure they want that person to get the power.
David Bloomberg
Like, right, David?
Rob Cisterno
Yeah.
Taryn Armstrong
I thought the zoom in was the best part of the episode.
Rob Cisterno
All right, so, all right. We come back with Angela in the egg costume. I'm sure we'll spend more time on Angela's egg costume of a whole segment on Wednesday night about Angela in the egg costume. But Taryn, do you suspect, do you think that Vince is happy that they brought the egg costume back or did he wanted to be the only egg?
Taryn Armstrong
If I were Vince, I would be, I would be disappointed. I would be, I wouldn't be like, super disappointed because it's like, oh, it's cool. Like, Angela's in my costume now. My costume's iconic. That's very fun. But there would definitely be a part of me that was like, couldn't even give me one season of letting this be mine, you know? Like, like, you know, that's, I didn't win the game. Like, that's, that's one of my fun legacies. Like, a lot of people get to own their costume, punishment costume for at least a while. Right. So kind of. I, I do think, I do think Vince the egg is better than Angela the egg. Well, not by that much. I do think Angela the egg's great.
Rob Cisterno
Yeah. Okay.
A.J. Norris
Like, I, I, I, I low key agree with Taryn because I remember that scene of the people just whispering into it on one side of the egg
Taryn Armstrong
and then the other personality contrasts with it in such an interesting and funny way. Like, Angela fits the egg too well. Vince, you know, Vince was contained by that egg in such a, such a funny way.
A.J. Norris
With that being said, I can't wait to see an egg pop off on Wednesday. Like, that's gonna be so much fun.
Rob Cisterno
Yeah, yeah. The hat go flying. Okay. So one of the funnier things that we got in the episode was Jason's reaction to finding out that America isn't rooting for him. He thought he was going to win the power. David, he feels like the robbed icon.
David Bloomberg
Yeah. He's sitting there saying, America's not rooting for me. They don't like me. And I'm sitting here going, going, well, you, you wanted TV time.
Rob Cisterno
Yeah.
David Bloomberg
You do everything for TV time. You got your TV time of you pulling a fast one by emotionally manipulating. I mean, we saw one person, we talked about it was two people. And you think that the audience is going to say, yay, great.
Rob Cisterno
Emotionally manipulating the person that America voted as their favorite house guest right now.
Taryn Armstrong
And, well, this is the thing about Jason and what we saw on the, on the show is that, like, for as much as I am, very much so, like, I don't love the jumping on. Is there a tear? Are they, are they faking it? Whatever. But knowing what Jason likes to do, I can't help but, like, feel that when he's in that diary, I'm like, I really thought it would be me that, like, when the camera's cut, he goes, did I do good?
A.J. Norris
Good?
Rob Cisterno
Yeah.
Taryn Armstrong
You think I got him?
Rob Cisterno
You know what I mean?
Taryn Armstrong
Like, I, like, I don't know. Jason. I don't know.
A.J. Norris
Like, like, Jason's, like, playing the villain and, like, he's, like, low key, like, embracing it, like, in, like, a Frankie Grande esque way.
Rob Cisterno
But that's awesome.
David Bloomberg
Yeah.
A.J. Norris
You know what? Who would have thought? But with that said, I think if your name's not Keanu, I've never heard in a Big Brother history where someone go against the returning players and the audience is like, yay, I like this person. I'm okay with this. This, like, in our history, we usually root, even if they're in power and running stuff, we're usually like, at least at the start of this, he's like, yay, we love this. Paul, we love it. Sari, we love it. Like, Nicole, Devon, James, all them, we love y'. All. Like, we don't usually root for the people we don't know. Like, listen, I get it. You're on RuPaul's Drag Race. I'm pretty sure you're great on there. With that being said, I've never seen you, and so did a lot of Big Brother audience, so know we don't have time to connect with you, my guy.
David Bloomberg
Right. I, I do also wonder, since you, you mentioned the, the, the tears and the, the cutaway, is this a ploy for him to, like, be, you know, oh, they don't like me. They don't like me. Okay. Maybe now they'll vote for me if they think.
Taryn Armstrong
Yeah, I think that's what Taryn is saying.
David Bloomberg
Right? Yeah, that.
A.J. Norris
Oh, no, pity don't work on me.
David Bloomberg
Oh. I mean, he's working the ref. I, I, I think that he believes it might work. And aj, I did not see him on Drag Race either. But I have heard, because I very foolishly made Jason my pregame winner pick, that, that I have heard from a lot of people saying, did you not see him on All Stars. And I said, well, no, I didn't. I heard about it, and I thought he would learn from it. But instead, he appears to be reenacting some of the problems that he had with alliances on All Stars.
Rob Cisterno
All right, let's talk about. Rick has a conversation with Rome, and Rome is willing to give Rick Devins a second chance. He's like, you know, I didn't really like what I saw, but, you know, I. I don't want to. I don't want to judge what you're doing, but, you know, it could get kind of dicey if, I guess if you go back on your deal.
Taryn Armstrong
He's like, in the middle of getting beat up by the mob, and he's like, you know what, guys? I forgive you.
Rob Cisterno
We're good.
Taryn Armstrong
You know, like, I've been thinking about it, and I actually think, you know, we stop here. Actually. I. I'm totally chill with you guys actually now moving forward.
Rob Cisterno
And.
Taryn Armstrong
And they're like, now we still got a problem, unfortunately.
Rob Cisterno
Yeah. Up and.
David Bloomberg
Yeah, I. I think there was some element of a threat there, too. If you say things are going to
Rob Cisterno
get dicey, things going to get dicey.
David Bloomberg
You know, you're being beat up by the mob, you know, to. To piggyback off of that. And you're. You're saying, okay, if you guys don't stop now, I'm really going to do something to you. You better watch out as. As they.
Taryn Armstrong
I'm willing to forgive you at this point, but I can't. I can't promise anything if this continues.
Rob Cisterno
Yeah.
David Bloomberg
Yeah.
Rob Cisterno
Your last warning. All right, so. And then we go to the nomination ceremony. I'm like, What? It's like 8:57. What are we doing? How are we gonna make this work? And we get Rick, and he's turning the keys. We see Melody, we see Lyric, we see Jason, And Jason gives us a very silent gasp.
A.J. Norris
Yeah.
Rob Cisterno
Love a gasp. In the Big Brother house.
Taryn Armstrong
It's. I'm just gonna quickly say it. Ridiculous to me that those are the only words spoken in those, like, two minutes of television other than my first nominee is. My second nominee is. I still hate this as a. As a format. Just let the man speak as he names his nominees, please.
Rob Cisterno
Yeah. What is it? They don't let them say the name.
Taryn Armstrong
They don't. It's. My first nominee is.
Rob Cisterno
But it's early in the season and we don't necessarily. It's right. Even if they just.
Taryn Armstrong
Just one small change, say the name. It's better television. They can't even do that.
David Bloomberg
Yeah. I was happy that they. One of the things they cut was the whole. I am the hoh, and as the hoh, one of my duties is to. It's like, wow. Yeah, well, I know, but normally they drag that through the whole season and they're. They cut it for the second nomination that you knew they had stuff to jam in.
Rob Cisterno
Jam packed episode.
David Bloomberg
Got rid of that.
Rob Cisterno
Yeah. All right, well, after Jason goes over the block, he says, good job, Angela. Which really sets off this fracas which breaks out at this nomination ceremony.
Taryn Armstrong
This is. And then. And then the episode goes in slow motion. We just see Angela, we see Jason.
A.J. Norris
Yeah, no, I. I really did love in this episode when we were doing our normal stuff, like your normal end of the nominations episode, where they start talking about it and they just cut it in the middle of it and, like, Jason stands up and Angela going out. I was like, I love that so much, honestly, that. That deserved to round of applause from me. I don't give them many. I'll give them one for that. Like, that was fun. I like that. It is.
David Bloomberg
Yeah. I was expecting the record scratch, but I was like, you know, the. The. I. I looked at the clock too. I'm like, there's no way they're going to go into the fight. They always are. Almost always cut it off at that point. And. But then when Devin's actually said, you know, said the words to conclude the nomination ceremony, I was like, wait a minute.
A.J. Norris
It.
David Bloomberg
We got live feeds before he actually said those words. So what? H. What are they editing it? And then they go to the. The dire Diary room segment. And. And so I'm like. So they did definitely get me for those. Those few seconds before they came back with the record scratch.
Rob Cisterno
Yeah. So much fun. I pulled a little clip from the fight. It's your hoh.
Taryn Armstrong
My hoh.
Rob Cisterno
Good job, please.
Taryn Armstrong
Oh, wow.
Rob Cisterno
Now I'm a you messy boy. No, I thought I was a messy. Excellent.
Taryn Armstrong
House meeting.
David Bloomberg
Sorry.
Taryn Armstrong
This is not over.
Rob Cisterno
House meeting. It's not over, Terence. I guess we got the origin story for the messy mess. Messy B word started with Angela calling Jason a messy boy.
Taryn Armstrong
You messy boy.
David Bloomberg
Jason got the three Angela claps.
Taryn Armstrong
Take me away. You got me. I'm a messy boy.
Rob Cisterno
All right, well, we can hit the spoilers and talk about where this is gonna go in a minute. Is there anything else from this episode that we want to touch on?
A.J. Norris
I'm good.
David Bloomberg
Yeah.
Rob Cisterno
All right, so why don't we do this?
Taryn Armstrong
Let's.
Rob Cisterno
So let's let's hit the spoiler song and we'll talk about where we go from here. And, you know, lots of intrigue to follow here as we continue talking about Rick Devin's nominations. On the other side of spoilers, the
David Bloomberg
Office of Civil Defense has issued the following message.
Taryn Armstrong
This is a spoiler warning. A spoiler warning means that an actual spoiler against this country has been.
Rob Cisterno
This is a Rick Devins education extinction. Different look. Need an updated Rick Devin's puppet. All right, all right. Yeah, we go from here. And then we had the feats come up in. In all this.
Taryn Armstrong
Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's basically everything that you would expect. Angela's calling out Jason for making the face to the camera. Jason is admitting to it. I did a full reenactment on the live feed update if you want that. I was. I was just doing melodies dance to the cameras. As she hyped herself up for the veto ceremony for the veto competition. I should say there was. Lala was very upset. Rome explained how he had to boil down the list and it was just. It was a big mess.
David Bloomberg
Yeah. But like, even. Even as he explained it, Rome explained it. He gave Devin's credit.
Rob Cisterno
That's a good ball player.
David Bloomberg
Yeah. Yeah, exactly. You know, he. He took what I gave him and. And he's using it. And absolute. Everything he said was true. And, you know, he. He used it against me. Which is interesting because, like, fast forward to. I don't know, was it it today or something He. He said on live feed? Something like, I'm gonna point out all of Devin's lies. I'm like, but you. You've already admitted they were true. How can you come back now? I mean, not that, you know, consistency is necessarily inherent in the Big Brother
A.J. Norris
house, but I. I would say it is moments like these that you can justify being a Big Brother super fan. Like, literally in the middle of my day, not a care in the world. And you get the messages of, yo,
Rob Cisterno
turn on the feed.
A.J. Norris
It's popping. Yeah, the feeds. And you see on Angela going after Jason, Jason piping back at Angela and these. And then you think it's calming down. And then Rome says, nah, we ain't done yet. And then Roman, Haley and Chuck and Kamu doing their thing. It's like, whoa, Broski and Rick, Devin's just standing there like, yo, yo. Like, I did not know that this is what I signed up for. What do you mean? These people yell like this. You were either like, part of the drama or Dee and Devin drew with your avatar being like, oh, this is fun. Oh, I love this energy.
Rob Cisterno
You are unbearable, Haley. You're unbearable as a human being.
A.J. Norris
Yeah.
Rob Cisterno
Why was she catching so many strays?
Taryn Armstrong
She said he had small balls.
Rob Cisterno
Yeah, that's true.
David Bloomberg
I thought he, I thought she said that afterwards. I can't remember the exact order, but
Taryn Armstrong
I just thought that was a funnier thing to say.
David Bloomberg
Yeah, yeah.
A.J. Norris
It was a funny response.
Rob Cisterno
Yeah. And Rick Devins is very so tickled about this whole, this whole thing. You know, in some ways I do feel like that Rick Devins is really cut out for this also.
David Bloomberg
Yeah.
Taryn Armstrong
I mean, basically what Devin said ahead of time was, I'll, I'm gonna drop this bomb and I'm not gonna go and hide in the HOH room. I'll stand there and sit in it. And he did until he did go to Israel afterward. But. But he did stand there and, and sit in it for a while.
A.J. Norris
Yeah, but it's wild because none of the bullets were coming for him. Like, at worst case scenario, it's like, no. Devin, can you clarify what Angela just said real quick? Like, like we just need some revisionist history. Like clean up the little messy stuff. Like he's like, yeah, sure, I can do that. Like, it's beautiful. It was a symphony.
David Bloomberg
Yeah. And then as it spilled out into the kitchen and everything, Dee is just walking around, you know, like covering her face, I think because she was probably laughing. She just could not contain it. And then she finally takes her hand off and she just mouthed it. Wow. And then later up upstairs in the HOH room, she said something to the effect of this was the greatest day of my life. Better than the day I won Survivor.
A.J. Norris
And also there was a side pod of Lala just uncontrollable.
Rob Cisterno
Yeah.
A.J. Norris
Like, like, like honestly, I did not know what happened to Lala for a good minute and it's like, oh, nothing happened to Lala. She's just crying.
David Bloomberg
Yeah. When I first turned it on, I was like, wait, was she nominated? Did I miss that? What's happening here? No, wasn't that she was nominated, it was that Rome said she could be nominated and that got exposed.
Rob Cisterno
You know, Taryn, this first week that we had in the Big Brother house and I'm not sure what day the eviction was. Day 10, day 11, it was pretty kumbaya for all this time. And leading up to a vote which was a unanimous like unemotional 14, 0 vote, it seemed like that there was maybe a lot of tension building in this house and this was like the tension release moment.
Taryn Armstrong
Yeah, I mean, it was. They wanted to flip the vote. They wanted to flip the vote in a spot where it would have been seven to seven and just back down because they didn't want to expose themselves like that. So they very much were, like, ready to draw these lines, but just, like, backed off at the last second. Like, like, you know, cooled the pot down for a second. But then when Devin's wins, they have power again, and Angela's heating everything up. It's like, all right, I guess we're ready to go then. Let's just do it.
Rob Cisterno
All right, so that was the nominations, which ultimately leads us into the veto over the weekend. And so, Taryn, you want to give us the veto results?
Taryn Armstrong
Yes. This is where things get a little more dicey because Devin's won the power of veto just barely.
Rob Cisterno
Yeah.
Taryn Armstrong
Ahead of Jason, who apparently was seconds away from hitting the buzzer. Had actually completed his puzzle in the veto first, but stopped and paused before hitting that buzzer, allowing Devin's to get in ahead of him.
Rob Cisterno
Oof.
David Bloomberg
Yeah.
Taryn Armstrong
Indeed.
A.J. Norris
I'm sorry, Broski.
Rob Cisterno
Yeah. So, yeah, I can't wait to see how that plays out.
Taryn Armstrong
Yes. That's the story that was told. I hope it was as dramatic as that. So Devin's with the veto.
Rob Cisterno
Any alumni, Any. Any mention of a. Are they doing that every week for the veto?
Taryn Armstrong
It's a good point. I. Not to my memory was anybody named, but that. That could mostly be because I don't generally care. Yeah.
David Bloomberg
I. I don't remember seeing anybody.
Rob Cisterno
I didn't see anything.
Taryn Armstrong
Yeah. So with Devin's having the veto, Rome and Lyric kind of saw the writing on the wall and did the thing that you should, of course, try to do, which is they were like, okay, let's. Let's orchestrate a fake breakup.
Rob Cisterno
Yeah.
A.J. Norris
Up.
Taryn Armstrong
Let's pretend like we're breaking up and try to convince Devin to use the veto on you to win favor with me and, you know, act like we'll be really grateful if he does it and all of this stuff like that, you know, just doing everything that they can. Of course. Not that anybody who has ever played any amount of social strategy game should ever believe that a showman would actually go against each other. But. Yeah.
Rob Cisterno
Yeah, Tara, that. To push back on the fake breakup. I feel like that. Did they miss the part where they actually, like, broke up and had a fight? Like, it's just like. It's just like, oh, yeah, no, we're not. We're not dating anymore. It's like, well, what happened when when that's.
Taryn Armstrong
That's the thing, Rob. They literally lyrics literally just like, yeah,
Rob Cisterno
you know, I don't want to let
Taryn Armstrong
him drag me down. And, you know, I think he should go up on the block because he's already going up. So, of course she can say that freely. There hasn't been much in the way of, like, actual convincing, and yet it landed pretty hard. Evans, who was convinced that Lyric is willing to drop Rome, at least until he was finally informed otherwise, and. And also believes that both Lyric and Rome will keep him safe if he uses the veto on Lyric despite, again, them kind of saying otherwise in private. It. And so Devin's is kind of in this in favor of kind of using the veto on Lyric at this point. Lyric also managed to flip D with similar stories and promises, and so D is also pushing it. Angela initially pushed back at this idea, but when they mentioned that Drew is really close to Melody and so keeping Drew in check would be fun, she went, oh, I agree. And so that was the plan until Kamu kind of talked some sense into Devin's. Drew did today pitch for Devin's. Like, I. I mean, it would be great to not evict Melody. And Devin was maybe coming around reluctantly until he talked to Rome again, where Rome said, yeah, that was a fake breakup, but if you use the lyric, like, what? I won't go after you. And Devins was like, like, all right. Went during the episode, went back to Drew and Haley and sort of pitched it again. Drew back down. And now it seems like the veto might actually be used on Lyric instead of Melody in order to backdoor Rome with the intention of taking Rome out. But if Rome wins the blockbuster, theoretically they're gonna take out Jason, not Melody, the person they're leaving on the block. Except that might change eventually because that's just how the house tends to work. So it's for many reasons, I think a massive error, both in judgment in terms of believing the two of them in the first place and strategically, because it doesn't make a lot of sense. We went into a lot of detail this morning about it, and. And what it's left them with is quite a big mess, I think, when there really didn't need to be one.
Rob Cisterno
Yeah. I think that week one, the way that things changed and we've seen that this alliance that's in power is likes to keep their options open, and I think that they like having multiple options to be able to choose from where, like, if they have another situation where it's like, oh, wait, you know, What? Actually, we do want to vote out Ashley now. Let's. Let's flip it around. I think that they're just afraid. They don't want to lock in on anything.
Taryn Armstrong
Well, I think. I think everyone's approaching it from a different place. I think Dee's approaching it from the place of I'll win points with Lyric because I have a good relationship with her and I don't like Melody all that much, and so I'm happy to leave her on the block. And I don't really trust Drew. Angela's coming at it, I think, almost entirely from. Yeah, stick it to Drew. And Devin's, I think, is coming from a place of fear. I think he's, like. He's, like, very worried that.
A.J. Norris
That.
Taryn Armstrong
That Rome is going to stay. And despite having made the bold move, he's now having to face the possible repercussions and he's trying to back out of it. He's trying to be like, well, wait a minute, hold on. I'm still trying to evict you, but if I save your girlfriend, will you not punish me if it doesn't work? And, you know, he's really incentivized by that, and he's being advised by two of his closest allies to go along with it as well. Well, Devin's also seems to be worried about Melody's connection to Drew, but that does seem to be a slightly lesser worry from them, especially because it's still not even the plan to evict Melody. And this is why I mentioned this morning. It's really wreaking of, like, Jared being like, I'm gonna nominate America to. To. To like, serve a le as a lesson to Corey in America. They just have to sit through it. Like, I'm not going to evict her. They just need to know that I've got my eye on. It's like, what are we doing?
A.J. Norris
Like, I feel like it's not great game. It's not great gameplay, and I think part of it is, like, the difference between Survivor and Bit Better, where it's like, in Big Brother, you have time to sit. You have time to sit. You have to think about it. Meanwhile, in Survivor, it's the day of and you're doing a lot of strategizing, and by the end of the night, you've made your decision. You lost the day in. Meanwhile here, it's like. Like there's still room to change, especially with someone like Rick Devin, who has all the power as both hoh and the power of veto with that being Said there is no reason you should be like, even tempting the idea that Melody goes this week. Like, your final three noms, you have the power, should be Lyric, Jason and Rome. And because any of them going, you're in a better position with them out of them. Even if you, like, mess up and accidentally take a shot at Lyric, well, now you have someone, like, who's definite going to leave Rome side out of this game.
David Bloomberg
And.
A.J. Norris
And like, I also find this Lyric frustrating because I hated what we saw over the past, like 48 hours because it shows that when she's not by Rome's side, there's a capable player there. There's a strong capable game player there that can like, actually do some damage and make some moves if she wanted to. And yet she just decided to get too comfortable on her side. So it's like, I'm not saying she should be punished, but I'm saying like, like there is no reason one of those three should be going. And you should not be like, low key, low key tempting Drew to like, potentially flirt with another side because he already came up to someone and said, like, oh, it sometimes feels like y' all are. I forgot what the statement was. But basically, like, y' all don't trust me 100 sometimes. And like, you cannot have someone as valuable as Drew having doubts as with
Taryn Armstrong
you, they're creating such a self fulfilling prophecy. They're trading in many ways the promise, the false promise of Rome and Lyric at the expense of Drew, who is so much more valuable to them, who should be very concerned about what they're doing here. Not to mention, not to mention the fact that, like, taking Melody out here is such a wild move considering they drew lines unnecessarily.
Rob Cisterno
They could have taken Melody out without
Taryn Armstrong
doing any of that. They could have made lukewarm nominations that would have pissed nobody off. Everybody would have been okay sacrificing Melody. They could have had way better spots in the house and relationships in the game if that's. If this was the goal all along. And it wouldn't have been as annoying to Drew if they did it that way as well. And on top of all of that, in my eyes, this idea that, like, taking Lyric off is going to win you more favor is kind of wild because with Lyric off the block and Melody potentially still on the block, it actually gives both Lyric and Rome some leeway to campaign against Melody in the vote. Meaning they actually have a good chunk of votes. Meaning you need to keep all of your soldiers in line to make sure Melody doesn't get voted out if that's not the plan. Which means you're going to be spending Monday to Thursday on opposite sides of this campaign with. With Lyric and Rome, who are going to be upset that, like, they're trying to get these votes for Rome to stay and you're making sure those votes aren't there.
Rob Cisterno
They're going to be re.
Taryn Armstrong
Pissed off at you all week long. It's just such a blah.
A.J. Norris
Like, genuinely, you know what would have been, fine, leave Lyric up there and be like, lyric, I don't want you to go. I'm gonna fight so hard to keep you in the game for so long. Like, if she's gonna be grateful for that, not like, oh, yeah, I'm taking you off the block. I'm also taking out your booting. Like, I'm not gonna. Like, you're not gonna take out my boot things. Get out of here.
David Bloomberg
Yeah, you gotta. You gotta keep both sides of the showmance up there. I mean, then they can't campaign against each other. Or I guess Lyric probably would have campaigned against Rome, I think, but, you know, he can't campaign for himself against her. And it's, you know, you've got the whole blockbuster situation of him competing against her. You've got to keep them both there. And then aj, you said something like, you don't want to see them punished. And I do want to see Lyric punished a little bit because she keeps saying, I'm only here because of Rob Rome. No, your name was one of the first that came out of Rick Devin's mouth when he said to Rome, you are safe. But your girlfriend, maybe not so much because of the way she has been acting in the way I have tried to talk to her, and she has just shut me down. So, no, you were never. You were not just there because of Rome. You are there because of you.
Rob Cisterno
Sneak preview for why Lyric lost. Yes. Are these. Is this plan locked yet? Or you think there's still room for this to change going into Monday?
Taryn Armstrong
There's theoretically room for it to change. But what I will say is, like, even when it flipped back to Melody, seemingly temporarily, it always felt like Devins was very reluctant to. To even admit that it was good logic to flip back to Melody being taken off the block talk. And when he. When it did really seem to flip that way because Kamu had Haley and Chuck campaigning for it, Drew actually was pushing for it, and D and Angela temporarily backed down. D and Angela were not happy about having to back down. They were gonna make another push before Devins even came back to them with. After the Rome conversation. So, yeah, given the fact that Drew, then again, did give in, Haley and Chuck, I don't think care enough to push unless comma, really lights that fire. I think basically Kamu and Drew, if they care enough, might get together and make another push. But, you know, will it actually work? I. I don't. I. I feel like it's not going to. I think that at the end of the day, D and Angela will get what they want. They're the ones that really need to be convinced. Convinced. And. And they're just not gonna be.
Rob Cisterno
I saw them very down on Rick Devins in a clip today.
Taryn Armstrong
Saw who?
Rob Cisterno
Angela, indeed. Talking.
Taryn Armstrong
Oh, yes. Yeah. Because he. They were upset that he changed his mind against what they had decided that they wanted at that point, that he was willing to use the view on Melody instead of Lyric.
David Bloomberg
Yeah. Like, you started to say, Taryn, he was too easily convinced. And it's like, no, you two are the ones who are being too easily convinced here. But then they use that and convinced him. So.
Taryn Armstrong
So, like, right now. Right now, this is happening. Drew and Kamu are both backing down. They're saying it's fine to take Lyric off. So this is looking pretty locked.
David Bloomberg
I knew it had to be very recent because I was up to date on the feeds for the moment that episode started.
Rob Cisterno
Yeah.
David Bloomberg
And I expected to be discussing how Devin's was still going to veto Melody. And then you started on this. I'm like, what happened? When did that happen?
Rob Cisterno
Taren, does Kamu have a relationship with Melody, or is that coming from the. Kamu and Drew have a relationship, and this is good for Drew.
Taryn Armstrong
He does have a relationship with Melody. It's. It's a. It's a halfway decent one. But. But Kamu was more so in it for the logic of it. Like.
A.J. Norris
Right.
Taryn Armstrong
Of all the people that we're talking about, including Drew, Kabu was the one that had the best arguments for why it should be Melody. And. And I think that's primarily what he was arguing the case for more than anything else. But. Which is part of why he's. He's willing to back down off of it. But. But yeah, that's. That's basically it.
Rob Cisterno
Aj I just want to say that I am still waiting for my first Kamu butt of the season.
A.J. Norris
I like that. That's fun. Give me a few minutes.
Rob Cisterno
Next update. I want to hear that
David Bloomberg
it was almost the Devin's butt. If the feeds had been on him when he came out of the Shower, but whoa.
A.J. Norris
I don't know if you thought that yourself, Robin. That's funny.
Rob Cisterno
No, I did. All right. Anything else from the weekend of feed?
Taryn Armstrong
That's the most of it, I think.
A.J. Norris
Yeah. Yeah.
Rob Cisterno
Okay. David, A.J. anything else on your mind?
A.J. Norris
Nothing else on. Nothing else on my mind. Like, besides the fact I just think bad job with Yash. Like, like, what are we doing here? Why is y' all still like a free agent? Why is y' all's not in locked in into anything? Like really, Like, Yash is the person who wants to be locked in something so bad and no one's like, really doing anything. Like, listen, people in the power, there's nothing wrong with having more numbers and especially expendable ones. People not in power lock in. Like, what are we doing?
Taryn Armstrong
Yash is our resident, like destined to be the first boot who then wasn't player who's just kind of still there but not supposed like he's final destination then this was Keanu last year for a while. And so, you know, we'll see if he ends up having a Keanu like run. But, but yeah, he still like, doesn't quite belong in that house yet.
Rob Cisterno
Yeah, I, I totally get that he is a free agent, but I had heard where Chuck is saying, like, even Chuck is like, that he can't work with the women. Like he only, he only can get picked up by an alliance of bros and, and there just isn't a bros alliance right now.
A.J. Norris
Okay, fair. Yeah.
David Bloomberg
Every, every time I see Yash on the feeds, I switch away. So I, I, I have a very Yash free viewing most of the time. I know there are Yash fans out there. I posted and said Yash fans. Why are you fans of him? And I didn't get responses, so I, I, I'm not sure why.
Rob Cisterno
Yeah, okay. All right. We'll see if anybody this is gets Yash at some point in time. In the meantime, let's talk about what else is coming up. And really, it's going to be another busy week here on RHAP with all of the podcasts and everything we have going on over on Patreon all season long. Tara and I are going to get together for the BB Mailbag Week two. You got strategy questions, big picture questions. We want to hear them. Send them in robiswebsite.com BB mailbag for that. And then on Tuesday night, I will be live with Chappelle for the Slop Week two. And I know we do have a lot of sloppy clips already. If you see Slop happening. Send that in to us. Robinswebs.com get sloppy. And then Taryn will be back on Monday morning for the live feed update at 11:00am Eastern Time. David, I was listening this weekend to you and Chappelle tell us why Ashley lost.
David Bloomberg
Yes, yes. You know, it was a little over an hour of talking about it and you know, not all of that was about Ashley, so. Yeah, yes. But you know, even, even the players who, who aren't very good, you got to discuss what they were not very good at.
Rob Cisterno
Okay. All right. And then we are so excited for Hapcon. The tickets went on sale for the patrons. Pre sale is up over on Patreon.com for Rahabcon. A lot of big things planned. A lot of Big brother planned for three days in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. That's coming up August 26th to the 28th. AJ what else is coming up for you?
A.J. Norris
Nothing much. You can find me and Felipe on the animation station podcast. We are watching every single Pixar movie and talking about it. What are you up to now? We just released Monsters Inc. And last week or this week we're doing Finding Nemo. So we're still early on in the project but like, you know, it's a fun time. Also me and the great Mary and Matt, we are on the free Ages Millennial TV podcast talking about millennials TV shows. So you know, a bunch of nostalgia stuff if y' all want to check me out.
Rob Cisterno
Okay. Come for Matt and frail Mary. Stay for maybe frail daddy appearing. With jokes. We didn't get to talk about the Pipe Queen tonight. Tara, it's canon. The Pipe Queen got mentioned in the
Taryn Armstrong
episode Mallory Pipe Queen, Queen of the Pipes. Help distinguish the names.
Rob Cisterno
David, we know why Blank Lost. Anything else coming up for you?
David Bloomberg
Yeah, I mean every day I'm doing two or three videos on tick tock, Instagram and YouTube.
Rob Cisterno
Social media content creator.
David Bloomberg
Yes, I try to be. I try to be. So I'm at David Bloomberg TV there and of course I'm always on Blue sky where I'm at David Bloomberg.
Rob Cisterno
