Hello, everyone, and welcome to the Big Brother 28 roundtable podcast. This is, of course, the podcast where we talk about everything from the feeds of Big Brother 28, and we rate the players from 1 to 10 based on how well we think they're doing in the game. Plus we go over all kinds of other survey results from you, the audience, or maybe not you if you didn't fill out the survey, in which case not you, but other people like you or not like you. I'm your host, Aaron Armstrong, and with me, as always, is Melissa. How you doing, Melissa?
A
I am doing great. What a week of Big Brother. This has been just so much fun. When it's good, it's good. And yeah, I was. It was so much fun. I was at home this past week with my family. My brother was there as well. And so first of all, it was like Dennis's first time watching Big Brother ever. This week, this week. And then my brother, he had not been keeping up with this season, and so then he was his first time watching the season. And. And of course, my parents were watching, and it was so much fun to watch with them. We put the wall comp up on the big screen in our house and we did, like a whole thing. It was. It was awesome. And I made my brother listen to the morning updates on our drive to Colorado to and from, so now he knows everything that's going on. And it was. It was the perfect week for that. It was fantastic.
B
It was an interesting week. I expect a lot of things to be changing here, both in the ratings, the rankings, and all kinds of things. And with us to give his opinions on the ratings in the rankings and all kinds of things, it's Matt Liguori. How you doing, man?
E
I am so good. Truly so good. I've been so excited to do this podcast. I've. We were just talking about. This is my first ever time doing my own ratings here on a roundtable. And what a week to be able to hop in and do that for the first time ever for myself. It has been so much fun. The feeds have had multiple moments in the past seven days of to your feeds now, you know, obviously towards the tail end of last week and then with the HOH results this week, that just could have gone in a completely different direction. And even the past couple of days, looking ahead to what the rest of the game is going to look like, based on how this week is going, it's been a lot of fun and I'm so excited to be here.
B
Yes. All right. Well, of course, as I mentioned, this is the podcast where we talk about what's happening on the feeds this week. The last time we had this podcast, a week ago, it was Haley's HOH and it was Haley's world, and things were looking bleak. The audience was rating the season quite low. The. The enthusiasm was not quite there. But since that time, we had a blindside vote flip. Lyric was evicted. Lala won the wall comp. It's like I'm reading fan fiction right now. She nominated Chuck, Haley and Barrett for eviction. Camus won the veto. He chose not to use the veto. As of right now, one of Chuck or Haley will be leaving. But, you know, there's always a chance. Not a very big one, but there's always a chance with these people that Barrett could leave. The main headlines here are primarily that this vote flip happened because D primarily D first finally recognized, oh, we've spent four weeks just kind of assuming that Drew wasn't loyal and kind of sucked, but I think maybe he's loyal. And then they were like, ok, let's keep him then. And in addition to that, had a conversation with Lyric where Lyric seemed reluctant to talk negatively about Chuck, Camus and Haley. And so she thought lyrics too much of a number for them. Melody and Drew can remain targets in the house. Melody is not winning any competitions, so they flip the vote to keep Melody over Lyric. Did they need to do it in a blind side?
C
No.
B
Was it fun? Yes.
E
Yes.
A
So.
B
So that brings us to this week where Lala is the hoh a bit of a wild card. She initially was looking at targeting Devins because she's not forgotten what did to Rome. And they've her and Taylor are kind of looking at the icons a little funny. But she was talked down by Taylor, who does have a relationship with Devins, and they had their sights set on Haley instead. Initially, Kamu was supposed to go up on the block with Drew and Barrett in order to backdoor Haley. But Kamu, having been activated from the blind side, manages to talk himself off the block and get himself into a quasi alliance with Taylor, Lala and Yash. After the nominations, realizing that Ka Mu had done some work, D does some work back on Kamu, reveals that she has a power to him and reels him kind of halfway back over to the vet's side. And now we have this interesting sort of layout where It's Yash, Taylor and Lala, though it is primarily Taylor and Lala who are now still talking about targeting the vets as early as next week as soon as Haley leaves. Although by the vets they currently mean Devin's not Angela and D. Then you have Kamu who is attached to them but also attached to the vets themselves who are their own little trio who are still connected and who are right now looking at Taylor, targeting Taylor because they're recognizing that she's maybe coming after them. And they are still connected, of course, through the crossovers to fap, which is Drew, Melody, Barrett and Mallory who call themselves fap. They do rock ceremonies. It's a thing. They are kind of looking at Kamu right now because of the work that he clearly did to keep himself off the block. And then you have Haley and Chuck as the stragglers on the block, one of which is likely leaving and that's kind of where we're at. It's a lot, it's a lot to take in. It's a big recap because so much has changed and shifted coming into this week. But Matt, it's, it's been a wild one.
E
It has. And you've obviously been talking about this but just the, the layout of the house right now, the way that at least I'm viewing basically four different groups and obviously they're all kind of interconnected with each other. One of those groups is in my mind the Kaylee and Chuck which is not a group anymore. They're a sinking ship. One of them is going to more than likely be going out this week but when that person that stays try potentially finds a new home in one of the other three groups, it's still going to be interesting. And while you have like your Kamus who are in this new alliance as far as this week is concerned, just to spoil, I don't think that that's going to be super long lasting going. Not like they've been having tons of alliance meetings and oh, we're still on the same page. Like that was great at the beginning of the week and then nothing really much has happened since then. So there's a lot of moving pieces. Things can change on an instant and the fun part about it for me is in particular with what we saw at the end of last week with Dee and Devin's. I'll say especially Dee who was bored and said, you know what, not only am I bored, but this move could be more beneficial to us to keep Drew in and that type of gameplay with These people in the house with D and Devin specifically in the house and Angela is on the table until they're not in the house. They are here for fun and also to play as hard as they possibly can. They keep telling us and telling each other, isn't this so much fun? And so it just feels like we could be in for much more of that until they are taken out of the game. But the crazy part about that is we're looking at a week like this a month into the game, almost over a month into the game. If whatever it is, they're still not touched. They have not been nominated. The three of them have not seen the block. And so here we are.
A
Been like discussed. Like, it's not even like, oh, they're a potential option. There's never been a chance so far where any of them are even like close to going on the block. And then they had to like, talk themselves out or maybe the person decided not to. There has not been a situation where they've been in danger.
B
There's a whisper of it at the beginning of this week and it was immediately mild whisper.
E
This could have been the week. Like, this could have been it. And Taylor, a lot of, you know, maybe we'll do this next week. You could have done it this week.
B
Yeah. I mean, in the world where Devin's doesn't have a diamond power of veto. Well, yeah, this was definitely the time to strike. I think you put the vets, you put like Devin's, you put D, you put Haley or Camu, like you put some combination of the vets and in the red corner on the block together. They are now forced to compete against one another with the vote. Even with the power. Devin's okay, takes himself off. He probably puts up Taylor. That's a really bad position. Obviously you don't want to be in that position, but it could have worked. And now I, I say all of this. You know, it's harder to, to say, oh, this is what Taylor and Lala should have done because they also know about the power. So we can't even say, like, they don't know it, but they couldn't do this. No, they. Part of the reason they didn't do it is because they knew almost with certainty that Devins and D likely have powers. So it's like, oh, what are we going to do? And that's. It's a tricky thing to have to navigate here. But Melissa, what have your thoughts been this week?
A
Oh, my gosh, it has just been such a great week. I mean, first of all, I know you. You've been talking about it all week, but I have not talked once. And it's just the flip right before the vote was so exciting. I had had no idea that was gonna happen, especially because it was like a flip in our favor, or at least my favor. So it was like a flip that we wanted to happen, but we were like, well, there's no way that both Drew and Melody are gonna stay. There's just no way this is gonna happen because it doesn't make sense. And, you know, okay. And then for that to happen and for both of them to be safe, and then you're watching the episode, and Lyric almost gets the blockbuster. I mean, I was like, oh, she's got it. I was watching it like this. I, like, couldn't even look. I was like, oh, my God, if she gets it, then, like, this whole flip thing doesn't even matter. But then she doesn't get it. But then Drew's, like, pushing it, and he, like, it doesn't ring. And, oh, my God, it was so exciting. It was so great. And then we know there's wall comp coming, and it's like, okay, there's only, like, two of them. And the rest of the people, it would be, like, interesting for them to win. And then it comes down to Camu and Lala, someone who literally, at the beginning, I was like, okay, well, she's not going to win this. Shame on me, because she was amazing, and I should not have, like, stereotyped her in that way. So the fact that it came down to the two of them, I mean, it's like. It's like movie moment. Amazing. He says that he's like, could last up there forever, and then he falls, and it's just like, she wins. And it was so thrilling. And not to mention the fact that, you know, there's always a concern when some wild card wins that they're just kind of going to follow the crowd and everyone's going to kind of, you know, just move in a line towards the majority alliance, and it's going to be really boring. But the fact that they were all lying about their votes made it so there really was no majority alliance anymore. Everybody is all over the place. So that was exciting because it really did feel like the whole game was just wide open and anything could happen. And then, of course, it's not just that you have Angela then telling Haley that she lied to her, and it's just like, why are you doing this? And then you've got Dee revealing Stuff to ka mu doing excellent work. It was like, oh, it was so. It's so fun to watch, like, people who are good do do what they do and to watch him talking with D and they're both pretty good. I was very impressed. So it's just been such a fun week. I have to say that I really don't want Haley or Kamu to go. I mean, obviously calm is not going, but I don't. I didn't want either of them to go. And I know that it was like, oh, like, you know, we got to get someone from that Chuck can go. Let's just let Chuck go because he's not doing anything for me. It's not Chuck time anymore and he's not doing anything for me or anyone else. So I'm totally cool with him going and everyone else staying. And then this would be like an amazing week because we get out someone who's boring and yet we still have like, the drama of it to have Haley there. And honestly, Common is doing a really great job. So it's fun to watch him. As much as, you know, people dislike him. I am having a good time watching Kamu do his stuff in the house and so I. It was such a great week.
E
I got to say, I think something that's been kind of lost in the past couple of days is just like how much of this all revolves around Haley, like coming out of her hoh week. Because at this point in the week, you know, she's lost the veto. It was a jump of the gun there. She lost the veto and she's very likely to be going home if we see her lose the blockbuster. Especially, especially if Chuck wins. I mean, there's going to be a lot more discussions between now and Thursday as to exactly which way that that boat will end up going. Dee and Angela have been talking about it a lot, but just she had an all time case of hoh itis in her week. And then to see that face crack, that jaw drop on Thursday night going into the rest of the week and figuring out the votes. And like Melissa just mentioned Angela telling the truth. And then Haley still worked up, but now Haley just has no power, nowhere to go. There's been a lot of talk of how isolated she is from the rest of the house. Her and Chuck certain certainly have been spending a lot of time all by themselves. But so I just feel like I'm kind of forgetting the plot here of like, if, if Haley does happen to stay, I mean, I'm not like, I can't equate her hoh exactly to like, a Frenchie or, like, a Devin shepherd, but, like, along those lines of, like, the impact that is felt by them being in power. Both of those two then got evicted very quickly after their HOHs. So if Haley does happen to stay this week and we see, like, the next level of what the house plays around her, like, that's really interesting. If not, it's like, all right, it just goes the same way. But she's still a lightning rod in there.
B
Yeah. I mean, I. I think the main thing for me is that basically from week one, this was always Haley's purpose in the game. Like, entire red corner, the entire tool shed. The whole purpose of it was, oh, everyone hates Haley. And from week one, they were like, we would love for Haley to get an HOH because they knew exactly what would happen. They knew that Haley would do work for them, take a bunch of heat and then become an easy scapegoat for them. I don't think they anticipated that she'd become this big of a scapegoat for them or that she'd take all of the heat from a last minute blindside vote flip, but she is. Even the thing that is being used by D to To. To soothe Kamu is, yeah, the reason we lied to you about the vote and flipped on you last minute is Haley.
E
Haley.
B
And he bought it. I mean, full hook, line, and sinker bought it. He was happy to hear that because this is just all like, from the moment she walked into that house, they wrote scapegoat on her forehead. And you know what? That's a tough road. You know, she has not caught a break.
E
It was no mistake that she, in her intro package said that she was bubbly, outgoing, and fun. Like, they cast her knowing that she was going to say those things and that this is who she was. This is exactly who they wanted. And I can't blame them for. For casting someone like this.
B
Yeah.
A
Hear that?

B
Well, Matt, any other thoughts, opinions on what's been happening here this. This week?
E
I feel like something underreported, and this is something that I'm always paying attention to. Maybe not underreported, but just like, it's not been the focus of what we're talking about is the crushes. There's crushes everywhere in this house. And how much those are playing into what people are doing, decisions that they're making, I feel like is a thing. I feel like in the past couple of days, we've heard a lot about Taylor Takamu. There's been a couple of comments. Even today. Kamu was, like, talking about the pool flamingo floaty. And he was like, oh, yeah, it has a cup holder. Like, it's got everything. And Taylor's like, don't be careful. I'm gonna get jealous. I was like, whoa, okay, we're at that point. So there's like, I guess a little bit of that. Kamu's, like, had positive comments to say about Taylor. Kamu in the beginning of the season, had his eyes on D. There's, of course, the obvious.
B
Arguably had eyes for Kamu a little bit at some points there.
E
There's, of course, the druid melody is, like, the obvious one. You know, Haley and Kamu going back and then Angela, like, pressing Haley. So tell me, is this anything just, like, I don't know. There's a little things like that all around the house that it's just like, it's not nothing, even if it's not, like, controlling the narrative of the season.
B
Yeah, I mean, crushes, I feel like, especially in the last few years, like, crushes have just been so influential. And maybe it's because with the blockbuster, the lack of, like, a structure keeping everything together means that we're, like, more down to our base instincts. And so crushes are more influential in the strategy. Obviously, in 26, they were massive and obviously on 27, pretty influential, so. And which is not to say that, like, showmances in the past haven't been influential, but I think that when you're watching a season where there's, like, a player or an alliance that's kind of ruling the game with an iron fist. The crushes are what they are. They're not going to be hugely influential to the game, but they used to be way back when, you know, back before hayden and kristen in the brigade. They actually did make a pretty significant impact.
D
And.
B
And. And so it's interesting to see that impact coming back. And we're talking more and more about. About the very. And I think, I guess part of it, too, is that it's not just like, drews and melodies, as you mentioned. It's. There's a lot of, like, unrequited crushes that are. That are occurring that. That. That have a pretty. Pretty big influence. And I wonder, too, if maybe part of it is that with reality having kind of a surge. Obviously, the traders is a huge part of that. But shows like love island and married at first sight and love is blind, these are all really big shows in the reality space that. That, like, prior to the last, like, maybe five or so years, it was basically just the bachelor, which always felt so separate and different than competitive reality shows. But nowadays, if you're a fan of competitive reality, you probably also watch something like love island or any of those Netflix shows or whatever. And so if you're going on big brother, you might have a little bit more of that kind of incentive. Not to mention the fact that obviously they always, always, always try to cast for this kind of stuff, these kinds of things. Not a coincidence that pretty much everyone on this cast is single except for, like, Devins and angela, and that multiple people on this cast intentionally lied about being single, knowing that that's what they needed to do in order to get cast on the show.
E
Yeah. And mind you, Roman lyric are already gone, and we're still having these conversations. So kind of crazy.
B
Don't underestimate the power of a crush. Melissa, anything else you wanted to talk about before we get to some. Some numbers?
A
I feel like this has been discussed a little bit, But I did want to talk a little bit about this because I don't feel like I. I don't know for sure the answer, like, the correct answer, and I don't know if we can get to the correct answer, But Mallory choosing melody for the punishment, I. I have seen a lot of debate about this, and I feel like I don't know what the. Who the correct person would have been, I guess, like, if she could do the head of household. Although I don't know if that. That seems like you shouldn't be able to pick the head of household because it's like, okay, well, then they can't have a single conversation without you. But maybe that's.
B
But they could. They could nominate you in retaliation. Like, they have power, you know.
A
True. But I feel like it's like, if you do it in a way that's just. I mean, couldn't you say, like, random draw, you got picked? Like, couldn't you lie?
B
I think you can. I don't think you can lie. It's. You can't lie.
A
I selected you.
B
If they ask you did you have. Could you choose? And you say, no, they didn't let me choose. That's using production as a strategy.
A
Because also, couldn't you say, like, look, it is nothing against you, but I love the idea of getting to sleep in the hoh bed. Like, you know what I mean?
B
Like, yeah, you could go for it
A
and, and maybe there wouldn't be a reason to get you. I don't know. I'm just trying to think because it's like, I mean, I don't think Lala would be like, for example, like, oh, Mallory picked me to do this thing. She's. She's dead to me. She's nominated. Like, I just feel like I wouldn't see that happening. And then you could be in there discussing the strategy or, you know, there's obviously like, okay, pick a vet or pick somebody that you, like, aren't really working with, so you can kind of hopefully get in on some of the conversations or at least know who's talking to each other, like, just getting a bit more information rather than like, oh, okay, my friend, I'm just gonna, like, not use this for any valuable information or game reason. I'm just gonna kind of be in a silly costume for a couple days and then be done.
E
I think you're really drawing a hard line and I think this has been talked about, like, if you pick someone outside of, like, who would make sense for you? So Mallory picking Melody, it's like, obviously, you know, no one ever thought that they weren't together and now, you know, it's not like this did anything to put them more together. They. They spent all of their time together and they just continued to do that this week. But if Mallory did go out of her way to pick someone a little bit more strategically, it just, it really does raise red flags for whoever that person is. Even if it's like somebody. Even if she picked Lala, and Lala, like, would not have picked up on the fact that that's why she got picked Taylor, someone is going to be right there to be like, oh, she picked you because of this, obviously. So it's still to raise their, I don't know, suspicions on you. Maybe if this was, like, later in the game, I can see that being like, okay, this is something I need to do. I need to separate this person and that person to really get myself in there a little bit more. But it kind of is still a little bit early to draw that kind of line, in my opinion. So I'm not, like, too upset with the pick. It's. It was just silly to see them, like, glued to each other in a way that they would have been anyway.
B
Yeah. And I. I think, you know, it. You're not likely going to actually be included in their conversations if you weren't going to. Otherwise, what you're really doing is just sidelining somebody for. For 48 hours, which has value if, especially if, say, you're in the majority and you want to choose somebody who's being nominated or who you just don't want to be able to campaign for the next two days, you pick them up and. And just like that, you've completely, like, crippled their ability to function in the game for a couple of days. And they can be mad about it all they want because you're in the majority and, you know, you're backed up by all the people that. That back you up. So, like, if you are a majority player and you're picking your best friend and you sideline yourself for a couple of days, you know, that is maybe a mistake. But. But in. In Mallory's position, I. And another point I made the other night is that, like, you know, there's also the America's Choice angle to this, which is that, you know, by picking. By having Mallory pick Melody, she's essentially saying, hey, you guys like me? Melody's my best friend. And we're gonna have some good screen time on the Wednesday night episode where we're gonna be doing all kinds of funny things like eating an apple together and walking around the house, and it's all gonna be a whole segment. And if you, like me, you might want to vote for her next.
E
And I love that point. I just don't think it came across her mind.
A
That's why she picked it. But I think that, like, that's a good thing to think about for the future.
E
She's gonna hear that analysis, and she might say, oh, yeah, that's what I was thinking. But I don't think she thought it to be clear.
B
I don't think she thought, quite frankly, anything when she picked Matt when she picked Mellie. I thought she. I think she thought Melody, my friend. But. But, yeah, I mean, I think it is. It's. It's a more nuanced thing than, like, I think the Survivor perspective, which is, like, who do you pick on the reward? Like, don't always pick your allies. Make sure you're picking the right combination of people to leave behind and to take with you. It's, I think, a little trickier than that in this spot. But, you know, there is. There is a very real possibility of picking somebody like D and then being like, hey, I just thought it would be really funny for the two of us for the. For the TV show to be chained together and then try to take it as an opportunity to bond with her and have more conversations than you would have otherwise. And maybe she's annoyed with you or maybe she's happy to do it and she's excited to be on. We have this. Be a segment for her on the show. So I do. I do think there are opportunities, but I. Yeah, I just don't think it's quite as straightforward as you might think. There are some other layers to it,
E
and people think there's a lot of hope. So I got.
A
I was just gonna say, I think, like, it could have been a really good opportunity for her to like, make a real. Like you said, make a relationship with somebody else, whether it's like Devin's, maybe because it's like, oh, he. He gets making good tv, so maybe, like, I can convince him that this is, like, the funniest option and then bond with him and really try and forge a relationship there. And maybe we get to talk a little bit of strategy, like, maybe because we're sitting together. Why not? You know, I. I feel like that really could have been, like, a way to do it is to, like, say that you're doing it because you thought it'd be a funny combination rather than, like, in a malicious way of, like, I'm trying to sideline you or something. Instead, it's like, hey, we're just trying to bond. Like, I thought it'd be fun to hang out with you or whatever, and then, like, actually bond with them, because especially for a player like Mallory, she really doesn't have that many close relationships to, like, the other people in the house. And so it could have been an easy way to, like, force someone to talk to you, basically.
B
Yeah.
A
So I think that could have worked.
B
I mean, and the other thing to. To. To pay attention to, of course, because there's so many layers to this, I think, is that it is so. So public. You think about Rachel picking Zach to do the punishment with her last season. And Zach was, like, not really somebody that she had a great relationship with at that point, but she. He was somebody that she wanted to bond with over doing the punishment. And so they did, and it worked. And Zach, she, like, really worked Zach all night, and by the next day, he was like, hey, I really actually think that we can work with Rachel. The problem is everybody saw exactly what she was doing, and they were like, we're not gonna just let you do this very obvious thing, which is force Zach to spend a night with you, and then all of a sudden, he really likes you and wants to work with you. We're gonna tell Zach all of the worst things we can about you to make sure he doesn't trust you. So it's like, you know, again, there are just, like, there are different angles to it that. That make it kind of a complicated thing. And ultimately, when it's so complicated, I. I do think that if you, like, when in doubt, just do what feels right to you. If you're going to feel comfortable with your friend and, you know, you're not in danger this week, maybe that's the right move. Just play it safe, stay with your friend, get the punishment over with, and then start working.
E
And I think we all lost because we did not get a Melody and Haley pairing here. We could have gotten Angela and.
B
And Drew.
E
We could have gotten Lala and any of the people that were talking negatively about her earlier in the season.
A
Yeah, I feel like this particular combination is, like, not interesting to me at all. No offense. Like, I like both of them, but, like, it does not do anything for me, comedy wise, to have two friends in bikinis, like, chained to each other.
E
Why was Drew, like, being the dog? Like, I mean, at least we got some funny pictures, I guess.
B
We know.
E
Well, sure.
D
But yeah.
B
All right, well, should we talk through some of the data here? Should we talk about who's.
A
Who are.
B
Who are people's favorites? I love data. Okay, well, this is the popularity rankings from last week. We had Mallory edging out Melody for the number one spots, and then we had D and Devins and Drew and Taylor and Barrett and Angela. Then Yash, Lala, Chuck, Haley, and Kamu at the bottom. But it's been a big week, and I imagine some things may have shaken up here. So what do we think? Do we think somebody has usurped Mallory's top spot?
E
If so, I kind of Think it's just the person right underneath her.
A
I think it's. Oh, who's underneath her?
E
Melody.
B
Melody.
A
I was gonna say, I think it's Melody.
E
I mean, those doctors have been hitting.
B
Correct.
A
She has great drs.
E
I mean, it's just like top spot. Every doctor is a banger. And that's why I'm just like, give me the Melody Haley punishment together because get her in the doctor after spending 48 hours with with Haley, it would have been incredible. And Melody obviously looking like a top contender to get into the time capsule room next week. So this definitely tracks.
B
Yeah, I mean, like, it was incredibly close last week, so not surprising to me at all that Melody takes the stock the top spot here, even just on the in the sense that, like, there is now more of a campaign to get Melody the next time capsule that, like, within your own head kind of like places Mallory, I think more in front. But it was very close last time. But does that mean that Mallory has hold held on to the second spot? That is the question.
A
I feel like D made it up there because D split the vote, and I feel like people liked that and I feel like people appreciated it.
E
But also the resentment is growing for the vets every passing week that they're not touched. Obviously, that's not everybody. I'm not really in that group just because I am rooting for D, but I totally get anybody that is getting upset with how this is going out if you're not rooting that way. The person I'm looking at to be rising amazing here is Drew, obviously, fap, and I think there's going to be a lot of love for that group, especially from, you know, the online chance. I might say Drew is next and then Mallory.
B
Well, Melissa had it right. D. Wow. To second place.
E
I'm not mad.
B
I have to imagine. Yeah, I think it's the vote flip. I think it's the even just, like, the good work she's been doing with Kamu and, like, the stuff this week, it's just been impressive stuff. So I think people coming around coming up on D. But what about third place?
A
This is harder. I think it could be Mallory because I don't feel like she did anything that would make her, like, drop very far or anything like that. But I do feel like people have been enjoying Taylor. I think Taylor's really funny. And also the fact that she's like, I'm going to control this hoh and all that. I could see her rising. I don't know if she would rise this far. Because last week what, she was six.
E
Oh, I think it's probably just the Pipe Queen next.
A
Yeah, it probably is.
B
It is.
A
That's tough.
E
Yeah.
B
In fact, the five Queen next. That is. That is the top three here. Interesting. It's just been a steady rise in popularity for Melody up to number one this week. Week D started at number one, fell and has now risen back up the second. And then Mallory with a big spike from seventh to first last week, now down to third. A bit more volatile there. But let's round out the top six. Who are the next three?
A
I mean I could honestly see it being exactly. Who is there? Devin's, Drew and Taylor.
E
Yeah, I mean I was, I was already saying I think Drew might go up. Devins was.
A
Was.
E
Had a quiet week as far updates about Devin's are concerned, but obviously there's plenty of Devin's fans out there. I guess I'll just stick to my gut and say that there was a rise for Drew and Drew's next.
B
Nailed it. It's Drew, Devin's, Taylor.
E
There we go.
B
Just like that.
E
So not quite a rise for Taylor, but at least she's maintaining her spot.
B
I mean, yeah, I mean it's, it's a tough, I think group to break into. She has obviously surpassed Barrett here consistently but. But Devin's does fall slightly. Drew rises in response. Drew obviously went from first down into this spot last week and Devins has been relatively consistent in this fourth to fifth, once a second place range. And, and Taylor has had a steady rise and now kind of hold into sixth place. All right, we've got. Let's. Let's just drop a couple more. We do have. We have Angela and then last week was Yash.
A
I'm shocked Lala didn't rise any because I understand that she's not. Well, she wrote, I mean like a real ride.
B
She has in fact risen slightly.
A
Okay, one point. But I feel like it's like she won that competition, which is obviously amazing. I loved seeing it in the episode and her doctor and everything. It made me tear up. And then not only that, I feel like she also is like willing to.
C
She.
A
She's gone a little bit back and forth on the nominations of course, but like she's willing to make a move. And you know, the concern is that when someone on the outside wins power, it's like they just do nothing with it. And that was the concern. And I don't think she's doing nothing with it. I think she's done good work. Maybe she's being Coached or maybe she's being told to do certain things. But you know, a lot of the times they'll chicken out because it's like, well, I'm not, I don't want to be the one to make the big move but so I've been in impressed by the fact that she's willing to put herself out there and do that and the fact that she won. But guess that only gives you a one point bump.
E
I think she's just getting overshadowed by Taylor for the most part. I mean Taylor was from the first moment they were in that room together, had her hands all over the nominations and the plans and then even up until the moment that the nominations are being made, it's, it's, everything was Taylor and so I just feel like a lot more attention has been on her and since the veto's not being used. So we haven't even thought about Lala being in power in like the past 48 hours or so. It's just been like I'm not surprised that she went up a spot but I'm, I'm definitely not surprised that she didn't go up much higher.
B
Yeah. And we'll, we'll try to take a look as well at like exactly what the numbers are here for Lala because it is possible that she rose like a decent amount just in terms of like her actual placement. Just still not quite enough to overtake more people than just Yash who she did of course overtake little Swaparoo there. Which does leave us with the bottom three. Chuck, Haley and Kamu. Do we have a prediction on the order of these three?
A
I think it goes Kanu, Chuck, Haley.
E
At this point I think, I think we got a thug up next. I think she's, I think the idea of her possibly going this week has had a lot of people like Melissa, you were saying earlier saying like no, Chuck's gotta go. So I think a little bit of that like we're holding on to our villain before.
A
True. Maybe, maybe Chuck at the bottom because people are just like Chuck is.
E
Yeah, we're, we're ready for Chuck to go. So I would probably say Haley, Kamu, Chuck. But also no combo gets a lot of.
A
I just think I say Kamu. Kamu. Haley. Chuck.
B
Kamu. Wow, Chuck, Good job this week. Melissa, you, you, you nailing a lot of these.
A
Yeah, I, hey, voice of the people.
E
What can I say for a reason?
B
So Kamu with a jump, two place jump which is actually the biggest rise of the week for a week that had so many Shifts, shifts. There actually weren't a lot of big shifts in these rankings. Like lots of small ones but not a lot of big ones. So Kamu rising to 11th place, big one there. Chuck with a big two place drop. Mallory also though had the two place drop. And, and right now Lala has been just very, very consistently kind of, she was a swinging down and now she's kind of swinging back up, up. Angela had that big drop off in week three. Barrett has been just steadily declining over the season. Yash is an interesting one. He, he rose above the, that like the trio there, but it's just kind of held below everyone else. And then again these, these bottom players who are just hanging around bottom all the time. And that's our, that's our list. It goes Melody, D, Mallory, Drew, Devins, Taylor, Barrett, Angela, Lala, Yash, Kamu, Hal and Chuck. Here we go.
A
So one thing I want to ask about, and I know that this is not the time to ask about it, but I don't really want to get into it when we're doing the ratings. But like just, do we think it's a good idea for Kamu to just like drop Haley and Chuck? And I know that it's like they're a sinking ship but we always say like, it's like no, don't just like be on the bottom of some other thing which I don't think he's doing, but I think that I wonder if it's like he should be doing it. It's one thing to be like, look, I'm not working with them and then also kind of being like, hey, if you stick around, like we're still good. But actively being like I'm not using the veto on them, they're dead to me. Like I just, I don't know.
B
We do have a question about Kamu's veto use. So that will be the perfect time to gauge the audience's response and debate it ourselves, I think. So before we get there very quickly, I do want to also then show this is the where, like the chart of where they place in terms of the actual numbers. You can see Melody actually out there deeply in first place. Very tight group between D, Mallory and Drew. Then we have Devins and Taylor in a little group by themselves. Then this kind of middle group of Barrett, Angela, Lala and Yash. And then unsurprisingly Kamu, Haley and Chuck on their own down at the bottom. Okay.
E
The furthest down we could possibly go down at the end, it doesn't go much further.
B
You know, that's a good question. I'm not. I think it's a relative chart, so.
E
Gotcha.
B
Not entirely sure. All right, let's. Let's, let's answer some questions here. We have some ratings to get to. Of course, we have the episode ratings this week. And the episode ratings have been steadily decreasing, which is relatively normal, but they were pretty high. They were beating the average for the first three weeks. I'm wondering if we now come back up.
A
Up.
B
The average for week five is a 6.0. And last week's episodes were also a 6.0. So this week a 7.0. Look at that.
A
Yeah, I think that's right. The episodes were. I thought they were awesome. I had such a great time. So I, I. Yeah, that totally tracks to me. Yeah, I think Shout out on Unlock.
E
Yeah. Think of the episodes and moments and Thursday night was the. Well, actually going all the way back to like Wednesday. If that was. That's included here. The veto comp, which was a lot of fun. Morgan was there. Then we have the lyric Blind side and all of that. We get to see some of the fallout on. On Unlocked. We get the Chappelle shout out last Sunday night is the wall comp. Uh, which was especially in those final moments, obviously still frustrating that we didn't get to see the end of the wall comp on feeds. But, uh, to get to see it on the episode was a lot of fun. So just a lot of big moments in the past couple of episodes that I think were, uh, portrayed relatively well.
B
Yeah.
A
Hear that?
B
That's now crispy and McCrispy strips meeting creamy Caesar sauce. Sounds extra Crispy caesar sauce at McDonald's for a limited time. Ba da ba ba ba.

B
All right then how about the feeds which last week were a 5.2, the lowest of any week four in the history of US and they're going to be bumped. Yeah, and, and of course that's interesting because I think a lot of people will remember week four as a great feeds week ultimately because of the very last minute stuff. Week five though, obviously had a ton of great stuff in its own little package. But of course these ratings are a little less clear aligned than that. The average for a week five is a 6.6. The highest week five is Big Brother 23's week five and an 8.1 this week a 7.9.
A
Almost. There you go.
E
What was that?
A
Do we know what that. Yeah, I was gonna say do we. I know what that week was.
E
I think it might have Christian addiction. It is because Tiffany was doing a lot that week to try to keep Christian and maybe that was like a level of intrigue that we were all hanging on.
B
Yeah, that was Derek X's hoh week where they evicted Christian. What was so exciting about it was
E
Tiffany versus a lot of the other cookout members that wanted to Christian and Tiffany was really trying to hold on tight.
B
And Xavier was also raising a fuss about Christian.
E
Yeah.
A
Does anyone remember any of this? I literally the season ends and it
E
just goes like, well, my early plug for the diary room I go back a lot.
C
Yeah, I guess.
A
Yeah, I was gonna say you have to talk about all this. So.
B
All right, well, big, big rating here that says not quite Gonna beat Week 2's feed ratings, but well above the average for the week of week five. Moving on, we have the season as a whole which dropped down to a 5.1 last week, down from the 6.3 in week three. It was the lowest rated season other than Big Brother 21 at week four. We'll see the. The season rating as a whole tends to be a little less reactive even though it was dropping pretty rapidly. So very interested to see what we can do here. The average is 6.3. Last week was a 5.1, this week a 6.8. Huge recovery.
A
Right?
B
Huge recovery.
E
And if gone to a 4 or something. Actually, I don't even, I don't know that for sure but.
A
Because especially who knows, it could have been. He could have still been like anti.
E
Right, right.
A
Alien Chad.
E
But just the high of it not going in that direction. Followed by the people that are at the lowest end of the popularity are on the block. One of them is likely to go home. And there's been a lot of fun feeds throughout the week. So I think this, this definitely tracks. Everything's going up.
B
Yeah. And you know, like there aren't. I'm looking at this chart. There aren't that many weeks, weeks in the history of us doing this that have such a dramatic like a 1.7 full increase like recovery. I'm seeing big brother 24 from week two to week three. But that's I think the biggest one. And that's a, that's a 1.9 jump. So. And maybe, maybe I guess the. Toward the end of Big Brother 27, week nine to week 10 and 11. But you know, those are a little bit of a specific circumstance. All right, then we of course have the HOH ranking or rating, I should say. How do we feel about lala's HOH reign? The. The average for week five is actually very high in comparison to the rest of the weeks. Week five and week six. Six tend to be higher rated HOHs primarily because Ava, Rachel, Tucker and TCOR all had pretty good ones. But how do we feel about Lala? A 6.6. Look at that very high rating. The highest since D this, this season.
E
I don't know if I like this week better than Tucker's week. Tucker went after Brooklyn and Chelsea and Cam and that was crazy. The Pentagon truly getting blown up at that time. But look, it's Close enough to what we have here. And again, everybody's pretty happy with the final nominations for at least two thirds of them. Maybe. Maybe like all of them.
B
Yeah, I think it was a pretty good and effective set of nominations. Ultimately, I do like her keeping Kamu off the block, especially since he ended up winning the veto. I do wish that they had their foot on the gas a little harder here, but. But we can talk about that once we get to those ratings. We also have, of course, the retrospective rating for Haley's HOH. Now, she. Her HOH was a 3.3 initially. So now I asked, now that you've seen it play out, what was Haley's HOH rating?
E
We're going down 2.2.
A
Yeah. Not good for her.
B
Ouch.
E
Look, it's early, but that screenshot again of her and the. Her jaw dropped will be one of the key things that we think about of the early days of the season. And I can't wait to just never forget about it.
B
Yeah, it is. It is interesting, like, looking at these. These HOHs where Ava is like, fully taking a shot at the power structure of her season. Tucker is taking a shot at the power structure of his season. Lala is taking a shot of the power structure of this season. Like, it's pretty interesting. It's all week five and they all have these big jumps in ratings that around this time this seems to be happening. Interesting. Interesting thing to look at. All right, then finally we have rate production. How do we feel about production this week? A 5.3 up from last week. Week's 4.0. You have a lot of data to compare to people. A little bit happier with production this week, I guess.
A
Yeah.
B
I mean, good wall comp.
A
Them cutting. Yeah, them cutting the wall comp at the end. I guess not so good. But overall, like, I feel satisfied. And the chappelle shout out was nice. I don't know if that constitutes production,
E
but, you know, we're really unlocked production. We might go even higher given how things have gone this season. But, yeah, I think my. My biggest complaint, you know, for. For those with the tinfoil hat on as far as the BB time capsule is concerned and how the past two weeks have gone versus. Oh, Mallory just happens to press the punishment button. Huh. Interesting. But, you know, what are you gonna do?
B
Well, who did everyone vote for this week to receive the time capsule? Melody. Oh, Melody. Is the. The prediction here that is. Is in fact.
A
Yep.
B
61. I think this is the. The highest I've seen so far that people seem to be backing Melody, 20 said Drew, 13 said Taylor, and then 2% said Bear. So, like, basically nothing that we have a distinct top three, which I think is a pretty close top three to what we would expect for the show.
E
And there's only one left after this, right?
B
Final two powers. Yes. Or time capsules going right now.
E
This one. So if Melody gets this one, I mean, look, Drew is the next highest candidate there. Obviously, things can change over the course of the next week, but I don't know. As we get to the player ratings, I feel like it's going to be pretty interesting to look at, at FAP and the possible powers that they could have.
B
It'll be interesting. I asked, is Kamu doing the right thing with the veto? And this is what Melissa brought up. I do think this is an interesting question to dive into. So. So first, I guess let's see what the audience thinks, because obviously Kamu is choosing not to use or chose not to use the veto on his former allies in order to gain favor with the house. And the audience thinks 78% say, yes, this was the right choice. I'm. I'm personally not so sure. I think that Kamu did what was necessary to keep himself off the block, which was throw his allies under the bus. He even the idea of putting both Haley and Chuck on the block was a necessary component of staying off the block himself because Lala kept rebutting every argument with, but I need competitors on the block in order to beat Haley in the blockbuster. At what? At which point he suggested, well, here's an idea. What if you nominate the both of them? But he has not just done that to save his own skin. He has now fully distanced himself from them because he feels that they were an anchor to his game and feels like he can kind of like wrap himself up in this new position that he's in with Lala, Yash and Taylor, and then the vets still going on, and he still has technically this connection to Drew. But I do think there was a world where he could have gotten away with using this veto. I. Not maybe on Haley, but maybe on Chuck, because Taylor and Lala kind of do want to keep Chuck around. They certainly wouldn't love to nominate somebody else, but he could. There's a world where you could talk them into it. Like, hey, do we really want to lose Chuck? Because they kind of don't. And by keeping Chuck safe, you then opens the door to Haley winning that blockbuster. And now all of a sudden, Drew or Barrett leaves, and that's actually great. For Kamu and. And now he's shown loyalty to both Chuck and Haley to some degree. They're both still in the house as targets in front of him. He hasn't pissed off Lala and Taylor if he manages to convince them that this is an okay move to do. And maybe what he's done is not gained as much favor with the vets, but you know, how. How, number one, how valuable is that? And number two, how much do you want to be doing the vets favors at this point? This point. So I don't necessarily think it was the choice for sure. I do think there was an actual choice to be made here, especially because he isn't actually that close with the two of them. He's actually telling the truth when he says that. But I do think it was more of a decision than he even considered himself.
A
Do we know what the veto competition was? Was it like a crapshoot sort of situation or could he have thrown it?
B
It was the. Oh, he certainly could have thrown it. It was the memory thing. He would have thrown it to Barrett who came in second place. Place.
E
The.
B
The one. That
A
squid game thing.
B
I believe you have a prompt. I believe.
A
Yeah. Okay. So, yeah, I mean, like, in my thought, I feel like he did all the right stuff in regards to keeping himself safe, distancing himself from his former allies, you know, bonding with d like bonding with Taylor and Lala and Yash and doing a whole thing with that. Like, I feel like he was making all the right moves, but I think that the veto is a little too far because I feel like he could have salvaged something with whoever remains or if they both remain, you know, he could have salvaged something with them and not just totally thrown them away. If he had just thrown, like, thrown them under the bus during the conversations privately and then publicly not done this because I feel like not using the veto on them is like the ultimate. Okay, no, he's not with us anymore. And if I was Haley or Chuck, I'd be like, okay, this guy's not with us. Like, he's obviously out. And so if whoever stays wins hoh next week, you know, I do think calm is in danger and I don't think he can every single week go from hoh to HOH being like, yeah, no, I'm with you now. And maybe, maybe he can. But it just feels like this whole thing, like, about, you know, lyric, you know, you threw on your allies under the bus, you abandoned them is exactly what Kamu is doing. And I feel like they could Easily point that out. If they decide they want to make commute the next target, they can use that as an excuse of like, look, you know, you were quick to abandon your allies. I don't know if I can trust you. And so I am worried about him. I think that for the most part he played this week really well because I think he. He would have been like target number one or two with Haley and now it's more like Chuck and Haley and common is not even being looked at in that it for this week. So I think he played it right. But I think the veto thing might have been a little bit too far.
E
Yeah. If Barrett was the other option of who would have won if he came in second place and you know, that's not a good scenario for him. I think Kamu does get looked at again to some extent of is he going to end up on the block? But just like overall, like this question and the way that I've been asking myself that for the past day or two, honestly, it just like to be cheesy. It's like why I love big brother and talking about it because it's just like I don't feel there's a right answer here. I think there's super valid arguments on both sides of it and that's why I can't come up with an answer myself. I mean, at the end of the day, you know, how many times have we used the term sinking ship for Haley and Chuck? A sinking ship, it is sinking. It is not about to sink. It is sinking. So why attach yourself to it and. And go down with it? There's no need to. If this was like, so deep in the game and we're talking about, like, I don't know, not, you know, like Kelly, Ava and. And Lauren at the end of last season are like, really close and it's like they're really looking out for each other. Yeah. Like, Lauren shouldn't, like, try to, you know, detach herself from the other two because they do have her back and we're later in the game. But at this stage, it's so early on and bringing it all the way back to, like, what I was saying in the. At the beginning of the different groupings that are in this house, Kamu just feels like such a free agent that he could easily attach himself to wherever the power goes next week if he's not the one in power himself. And that'll be really easy to do because he's not looked at as a part of this trio anymore that he's been trying to separate himself from since early on. Like, Taryn, you keep saying he's not lying when he says he's not that close to them. Chuck especially. I feel like he's had just not a ton of game talk with and then Haley, like, yeah, there's like, there is a loyalty there that both of them would not go after Chuck. But there is more to think about at this stage in the game and when everybody else in the house is looking at them and associating you with them, like, there's a reason that sometimes you just have to cut that person loose. And there's plenty of times that that works out for, you know, look into big brother past. So ultimately I do think that this was the right move for him. But again, I love that. I love that it's so open.
B
Yeah. And, and I think I'd be, I'd be harder on it if Kamu hadn't just proved that he's probably the best competitor in the house. Between the second place wall, finish the veto, win the previous quiz comp hoh, win the safety that he won in week one. Like, he has proven himself more, more than any other player to be very good at these competitions. In almost every competition he, he's, he's competed in, he's performed really well and everybody else has kind of been like sporadically good. And so that's not only good for his longevity in the game because he'll be winning competitions, but it also is contributing to a reluctance to want to target him, a desire to pull him into your group. And so, you know, there is actual value in separating himself. But, but I do think that there are so many good arguments for why he should be using this. And I think another one that hasn't been mentioned is just how little he gets from not using it. Like, yes, he loses some things if he uses the veto, but he's not actually gaining much by not using it because the people who benefit most are Drew and Barrett and Melody and Mallory by extension. And those people couldn't care less about his decision. They are talking about actively targeting him next week. So by not using the veto, he is on, on paper, protecting the people who are the most dangerous to him and winning favor with people who are already pretty chill with him. And so, you know, there's, there's that to think about too. But yeah, as Matt said, I do, I don't think it's like super clear cut just because of the circumstances that are currently surrounding him. And I think that if he has to burn half the house in order to use it. It's probably not worth it because he actually does have an in here. But if he's able to convince Taylor and Lala and Josh to do it, I think that's probably the move that I would want to do.
E
I think what he does from here. Sorry, just real quick, is that like figuring out who's going to go home here. There's been talks and we'll talk about this, you know, but like, of Chuck going home making more sense for people like a D. I think Kamu needs to realize that as well that Hal is the one that's more loyal to him. Him and her have had a better game relationship. He told her today, look, not. I'm not holding it against you, but like, you burned me a little bit with like the putting lyric up when I asked you not to. So I'm not using the veto and you want me to. So, like, if they can kind of just call it a draw after this, if she stays in the house, I think he will still have that loyalty from her. And the bigger target where FAP will then continue to look at Haley more than him and I think he can have a better chance. You just laugh every time I say it. You say it all the time.
B
I know. I don't listen. I don't listen to other people say it as much. I say it all time. But I just heard you say it in the context of a serious strategic argument and it giggle.
E
I'm like making food this morning listening to you and Scally just talking about fap and I'm like, yeah, that's. That's what I'm doing today and for the foreseeable future.
A
Yeah. The first time I saw a reference to fap, somebody had posted a clip on Blue sky that was like FAP talk. And I was like, I am not watching that. I don't want it. I. Why is that?
B
Did Mike Boogie come back in the house? House?
A
Yeah. I was like, I want. Why are we like clipping this and putting it online? And then I realized later that it was the alliance name. But yeah, by the way, it hasn't
E
been on the show yet. Right. And won't be.
A
I don't think it will be.
E
I don't think it has.
B
Yeah. I mean, which is. Which is always like, that's one of the things where you can use production is. Is like if you name your alliance something that is either copyright or clearly not something they would put in the show and they don't make you change, it means the Lions is either fake or irrelevant. It's like.
A
That's a good point. Oh, my God. I didn't even think about that. Yeah, you should always try and make an alliance name that's like something they can't put on, and then if they. They don't say anything not real or not or not important. But yeah, I feel like with Commie, like, I could see why he would want to not throw the veto because in that situation, you know, he doesn't know if he can fully trust them. And if he doesn't win it, maybe this whole thing is a ruse to put him up to backdoor him or whatever. I guess he wouldn't be backdoor if he. If he played in veto, but still to. To put him on the block ultimately, and that would be scary. And so I could see why he would want to at least win it, but then I don't know about how. Whether he want to use it. At the same time, you could sense that Commie was kind of getting over Haley and Chuck and the way that Haley was speaking to him during her hoh, you know, when he tried to kind of express something and she was just like, yeah, that's not happening, or whatever. You could. You could see a situation where he's like, yeah, I'm not really interested in working with these people anymore. Like, this is not kind of the vibe I want from an alliance. I don't want people telling me what we're doing. I want to be part of the conversation. So maybe this is just like an easy excuse for him to kind of be like, yeah, I can finally wash my hands with this.
C
I'm out.
B
Yes. All right, well, the final question, of course, who do you want to be evicted this week? I think this one's pretty clear for most people. 69 say Chuck, 27 say Haley. And 4% of you want Barrett gone.
E
Not to steal my own tweet, but as in the world, in words of meta world peace, evict Chuck.
B
All right, let's then get to the stock watch where we will be rating the players from 1 to 10 based on how well we think they are doing in the game. The criteria can be many things, really. Whatever you want. We tend to look at like short term safety, long term potential. And. And I really like to look at, like, well, do I, do I like the decisions they've made this week. Week as a little. Little boost or penalty. And so last week, Angela got fives across the board. This week, I actually, I really. I really don't love where Angela's game has gone this week. Between the loss of Haley and her current position on the board, I just feel like her game continues to be not quite free fall, but I feel like it's slipping through her fingers. She's playing D and Devin's game and she's not really playing her own. I think agreeing to the vote flip was bad for her by itself. Agreeing to the vote flip and then also trying to lie about the vote was like even worse. So I. The main thing here though for me is just the loss of Haley. Haley was Angela's best asset in the game. Haley would have taken her to the final two and lost. And it's theoretically possible she could get Haley back, but she did a lot of unnecessary damage here. And Haley's obviously the more likely person to leave this week at the moment. So I'm going to drop her down to a four for me here.
A
Yeah, I, I'm. Yeah, I feel like she was in such a good position when she had Haley. I mean, she was like spending all her time in the HOH room and I felt like she was getting great favor with the HOH and I mean, and she's doing that with Lala too. She's gaining favor with Lala, etc. But I feel like she should not. She just. I thought she was in such a good spot and I feel like she just completely blew it up with revealing the truth or whatever. I think it would have been a lot better for her. And Haley believed that Angela was telling the truth. And so to keep that, she should have just kept the lie because then to cause all this drama. And I know it's like, okay, the people are siding with Angela over Haley, but at the same time it's like people are viewing her as a very erratic player and they're not. Not. She's not someone that you can number one trust, obviously, because she lied and then she's going to cause drama for it. You know, she apologized but then didn't apolog then but got mad. It was just a whole thing. So I just think that that was just not the right move at all. And then if I'm Dean Devin's, I'm like, oh, we can't trust Angela to keep her mouth shut. Like she's always going to have this emotional reaction and potentially reveal everything. We can't tell her anything thing. I feel like this is a very bad week for Angela and honestly, I think I want to give her a three because that was really, really. That was not good.
E
I'm going to go for here as well. I mean, I definitely think she has to drop from where she was last week. The thing with Angela is just that she is still so likely to me to skate by in towards the end game and possibly even end up in a final two chair because nobody's afraid of actually sitting next to her. By far, to me, like, the person with highest chance of. Well, of the three vets of getting in the end game. And it's like, we're not even really going to pay you any mind. I don't think that the other two vets, you know, icons have any danger of that because they're playing a much different game. And as has been mentioned, Angela's kind of playing their game. As far as, like, Angela being targeted, though, immediately, if she doesn't go that far, it's. I can't be assured in the same way that I feel like I can with dear devins that if the icons come under fire as early as next week, if it does actually happen, that she'll be able to do any of the work necessary to save herself. Like, I can pretty comfortably feel like they will. You also have, of course, the aspect of, like, the diamond power of veto that devins will obviously use on himself if he needs to. There's a world he would use it on d if he needs to. He's not using it on Angela. So her position certainly has slipped this week.
B
So.
E
Yeah. Four.
B
Yeah. There is an interesting situation with the diamond power of veto where it is good now, I believe, for another three weeks. And it. If. If ne. If next week and the week after the shot gets taken at the icons, the diamond power veto is probably bad for Angela. She might remain the only vet left on the block to take a shot at. But then if she's. If. If like the shot. Well, I guess theoretically the shot could. If any shot is taken at Angela at all in, like, the sixth week, then Devin's is just going to use it. Devin's wants to use the veto.
A
Yeah.
B
Even if he doesn't have to. So expect it to be used. But we have a little bit of an interesting spot there. But what does the audience think? A five. Wow. I thought. I thought they'd be even lower.
E
Well, yeah, I mean, I guess I get it. Just like, it still feels like nobody is going to come after her. But I think that, like, the Angela player that we have is different to me from, like, the spot that she finds herself in as one of this next level elevated groups of targets.
A
Yeah.
B
And I think you can't give her the same ratings last week after the week she's had. I think. I think the audience is not correct.
A
I also. Yeah, I also think that, you know, you could easily see Angela being targeted, like, to take a shot at the vets, but not wanting to, you know, pull the big guns out and go after D and Devins. I feel like they could go after Angela as a means to. To, you know, weaken them, but not actually go after Dean Devin's and kind of couch it as like, oh, no, we love you guys. We want to work with you guys. We've got, you know, Angela's just been such a problematic or. You know what I mean? Like, they could easily find a way to make it not about being a vet and still target Angela to get at D and Devins.
B
All right, Melissa, what are your thoughts then on Barry Barrett?
A
Well, Barrett's on the block. We had him at a four last week, and now he's on the block. There's, you know, there's. Obviously, there's a potential for him to go home. I don't really see that happening. I feel like either Chuck or Haley will go home, but I don't think Barrett has done anything for himself to put himself in a better position or try to get himself out of this. And I feel worried about him. The fact that they're like, yeah, let's. Much like he's expendable. It doesn't even matter. Let's put him on the block is not good for him. So, yeah, I'm gonna give him a three. Like, I'm close to being a two, honestly, because I just feel like it's like this. He shouldn't be in this position, but I'll give him a three.
E
It's really hard because I don't, like, a four feels, like, low for someone who I feel like is. Is just continuing to coast through the game. And, like, I'm not as worried, like, me starts to feel like territory of like, they're doing something actively wrong. But for Barrett, I think the consensus is very clearly just that he's not doing enough. Any given week lately, he hasn't been doing enough to put himself in a good spot if the game ended tomorrow, which, of course it doesn't. What resume does he have? What are. What. What does he have at all to, like, have people point to and say that's what he was doing along the way? Laying low. Fantastic. Sleeping for the first half of the game to at least get yourself to this point. I'm not mad at. But, like, I think specifically of his conversation he had with Lala when she was telling him she wanted him to go up. And he was very careful, as his superfan self knew, too, to say, I'm not going to tell you that I'm comfortable being a pawn. But also, like, you're allowed to push a little bit more. You're allowed to push back a little bit more and say, and this is what I think you should do instead. Like, it's not really just enough to say, I'm not going to say the thing that I'm not supposed to say, but give her good reasons as to why you shouldn't go up, push for more, try to make an alliance. Exactly what KO did. And as a super fan, I would want him to have pushed. Now, granted, he's in a pretty good spot here. He even said to Drew earlier today, look, of all the possibilities of how I could end up on the block, this is not a bad one, and that's fair. But you still just, like, I need to see a little bit more to feel like it's worth going up on him than. Than the fours that he's been getting. So four.
B
All right. I. I think I'm a little more in line with Melissa here. I think just the fact that he's on the block is gonna have to make me drop him a little bit as well. I just feel like it's just. While it's not likely this house has shown not likely things can happen, and there's definitely a world still where he could potentially leave this week. And. And it's not like I. I, unfortunately, it's not like I expect him to be able to do anything to stop it if that were to happen. But. But I do. I do think this is, like, if Barrett avoids the block in the future, this is probably the floor for Barrett. Like, I do think he still has something in him when the season starts, like, moving forward, really, if he can start winning some comps that, like, there's something there, but it's not quite there yet. The audience says a four. There you go.
E
Voice of the people. That's me.
B
You get one rating, same as the audience. All right, Matt, what are your thoughts on Chuck?
E
All right, well, obviously, we're going a little lower in the numbers now. He has, I think, been so. I mean, underwhelming is, I think, the fairest word I can think of and the nicest word I can think of to talk about his game. It's. It's not going anywhere, and it's not for, like, A total lack of trying. Him and Taylor's conversations today a couple hours ago were really funny. She's like really trying to give him some tips, like really trying to coach him up a little bit and like hey, like take your hat off when you're talking to people like just be a little bit more like, you know, just like try a little bit more just anything that he can, that she can try to give him as a tip to visit because I think she would clearly rather that he stay but it's just not much of what he's doing is landing even like thinking all the way back for the past couple of weeks again that comm who is supposed to be in this tight three person alliance, it has never been that but the fact that it's never been that tells you a lot about how Chuck's game has been up until this point and just like nobody's sticking their neck out on the line for him. Taylor and Lala at the beginning of the week had some valid reasons, you know, personal reasons that they didn't want to go after Chuck but as other people came in and played the game around him and then kind of just exposed some things and got them thinking a different way, he ends up on the block and then now genuinely could go home. I don't think it is, I don't think that his level of gaming is a one. I do think again that he's got something going in there. It's just like if there's a wheel turning, it's like turning backwards but it's still turning. So I, I'll land on a two. Oops, you thought I was one there.
B
There's a mistype. Mistype. I agree with you. I, I, I also went with a 2 for sure. Chuck, he's not out there actively making his position worse. He didn't go out there and completely tank this situation. I would blame Haley more than Chuck for the situation they're both in. He's also not the primary target at this moment over Haley so I, I don't want to give him a one. We'll see what I give Haley but yeah, I think it too sounds right to me.
A
Two as well for me.
B
All right, what about the audience? I think, do we think that I think they might have given him a two. I think they might have gone that low.
E
I think there's a really good chance. I mean they did. Wow.
A
Yeah.
B
If it's an unpopular player and they're
A
in a bad they'll go low.
B
Yeah, they'll go low. All right. Let's move on then to D. D, who has consistently had some good ratings here. Let's. Let's just check out these CH chart. Starting with a 9, moving down to a 7. 7 and then last week an 8. It's interesting stuff for D, obviously, always a high rating. I'm tempted to go back down to the seven, but it's, it's. It's tough because it's like she pulled off a move that was, I thought, sort of ill conceived, the blind side, all of that, that. But she did come out the other side of it and like played really well to actually make it not that bad. And that's pretty good. But it still, it still is worse. Like, it's still. It's like she's played really well. But that decision has still, in my opinion, put the vets in a worse position than they were in before. And it exposed them in a way. Right. It exposed them in a way that they. That like forced them to work harder just to get back to somewhat of where they were before. So, like, that's really impressive and I'm like, wow, really great stuff from D. But also she put herself in that position by initiating this in the first place. And, and so for that it's almost a wash. I think she made a huge mistake. I think she's made. She's done some really good plays and so my rating is ultimately going to come out. Come down to.
A
To.
B
I think her position is slightly worse than it was this time last week. I've got to give her a seven.
A
Yeah. I mean, that's exactly what I was thinking. It's like it was so impressive to watch her work and to do the commu stuff and to get back in the good graces of everyone and to kind of take the heat off of herself. And even though she ended up having to come clean about the lie and it's like, oh my God, how can she get out of this? And she just totally does. And she does great. And I feel like she's in, you know, a decent spot right now. But it's like they literally were in a position where they could just steamroll the house and they gave that up for. I loved. I loved it. I was glad they did it. But they gave that up for fun and not even for like a really good reason. Like, I think they absolutely could have convinced Haley and Chuck and Common to go along with it. I don't think that they would have been completely. It wasn't some crazy move where you really flip the vote on one of their allies or something to get back at them or whatever. They probably. It's like, okay, yeah, all right, we'll vote out lyric. Like, why does it matter? Like, it doesn't. It didn't seem to be something so crazy that they really needed to not tell them about it, aside from, like, TV drama, I guess. So, yeah. The fact that she was able to pull it off and do all that, just like you said, it's like it goes.
C
There's.
A
It goes down because she makes this decision and she does it in this way, but then goes back up again. And so it's kind of just like, yeah, let's just keep her out of seven. I mean, she does great work, but I think she creates a lot of that. The need for that work herself.
E
I will rip the band aid off and then I will explain. I'm going with a nine. And I thought.
B
I. I didn't. I. I thought you might come in with a hot take and I was like, it could be a five.
E
Yeah, well, let me tell you how close it was to a 10. And I just want to, like, put a caveat on this of, like, I get it. Like, I know what you guys are saying, and I know it's not a 10, and that's why I didn't go with a 10 and a 9 is probably me being generous. It is. But I want to give her credit for the things that I'm seeing, like the, The. The player that she is and the player that I know that she can be. By the way, I know what's probably happening in the chat and I have it closed. So what the player that I know that she can be. I think this has been the week that we have seen it more than any other week in the game so far. She got some nines in the first week and I don't know what's going to come next. I'm well aware that the vets are. Are being looked at as far as this upcoming week. Maybe be her specifically could be one of the people that's most looked at because Angela's. Angela D. Devins has the diamond power veto and has a lot of good relationships specifically with the guys. But seeing what Dee can do in that house with a lot of people that I would not have expected some of this stuff to work on. Kamu especially. I know there might have been a little bit of a crush there from him to her earlier on, but he. She can just do things that normal people playing these games cannot do, and I can't not give her that credit, while the only time I'm going to be here, I assume this season, in a week, that I've seen her flex those skills more than we've seen yet, I have to give her credit for it. Again, I understand that her position going forward could be a little tough, but if I'm not giving D credit for the things that she's pulled off this week, the ability to flip this vote, yes, there's a conversation about was it the right way to go and maybe she should have brought in some of the red corner, not blindsided them. Trust me, I get it. But again, I need to commend her for what I can see, what I see her do, and what I know that she can continue to do. I think that even with, Sorry, I'm just rambling, but even with people like in, In FAP that I don't know that she has the closest connections with. I think back to when Mallory was on the block, and in one conversation, she got Mallory to go from, oh, I'm probably going to target D to maybe I don't want to do that. And I think she can do that at an instant. So I have to give her some high marks while I'm here.
B
Yeah, I mean, as I said, the criteria is, is open and, and people can sort of use whatever criteria they want. That said, I, I, I don't, I don't even really disagree that much. Like I said, I agree. D has been doing some excellent work and, and genuinely, I, in my own head, can see anywhere from a five to a nine with D's game right now. Now, in terms of, like, the unnecessarily, in my opinion, bad decision she made at the end of last week into the really incredibly impressive stuff she's been doing toward the, in the last couple of days, like, it's pretty, it's a pretty wild swing. I personally was, like, kind of excited to give. I was, because I, I sometimes think about my rating across the week, and there was a time this week where I was like, these, these are like a five for me. What a. Or, you know, and it might drop even more. But then she crawled her way back up for me to a seven, which is really impressive stuff. And I think it is shown in the nine there. But let's see what the audience thinks. Seven. Oh,
E
all right.
B
Seven. But the nine gets her up to an eight. So honestly, you might have made a lot of the audience happy if they invested in D here.
E
Well, welcome. Like, I really, really wanted to do the 10, but, like, I, I Mean, I, like, I knew it wasn't right. I was like, I just. But I feel it. And then hearing both of you talk, I'm like, I really don't think it, but the nine, I'm comfortable with.
B
All right, well, Melissa, what are your thoughts on Devin?
A
Devin's had sort of a quiet week, which I guess maybe is good for him. I feel like he handled the voting situation in the way that I would probably handle it or I would, you know, think to handle it because I, you know, lying about it, I think is a lot more difficult, especially with, like, two people having to lie about it and the votes just not being there. I think that I liked his strategy of just, like, look, everyone was talking about it. I thought that's what we were all doing. And I know that D is like, oh, he can. Can't play dumb because he hasn't been playing dumb this whole time. And so it doesn't work. But I did think it worked. And I don't think people were mad at him. I think that, like, you know, they were kind of frustrated because they were like, okay, well, why didn't you come to me? But, you know, who cares? So honestly, I think that Devin's been do. He did a good job with that. Now he doesn't have to, like, cover his tracks or do anything about that vote or about the lie. He just gets to kind of continue on his game. I do feel like he's kind of. Of. He's kind of playing it, like, very not safe, but he's, like, just taking a day, a week off. It feels like. I don't know. All I've seen, the only thing I've seen about Devin's is him floating in a pool in that flamingo, floaty or whatever. So I don't know whether that's a good thing or a bad thing, but maybe it's a good thing to kind of take the heat off of him and kind of let. Let other people do the strategizing for the week. But. And the fact that, you know, he's got the Taylor connection, I think is good. Obviously, it was not a great situation for him to potentially be on the block with Lala potentially targeting him. But the fact that he had Taylor and people, you know, stepping up for him and defending him and saying, like, well, let's. Let's like, hold off on Devin's. Even if it's because the power thing or because of whatever, that's good that he has people on that side who are willing to do that. And he's got that diamond power veto. So I do think that, yeah, it's hard. I don't know whether to do a 7 or 8 because it's like, well, he still did do this vote flip thing that he didn't need to do. Like, he was in a really good spot and now it's a little more tricky. I'm gonna keep with my seven, I think, because I, I get that he's in like a good spot and all that, but like, they really didn't need to do this and I think that they would have steamrolled this season without it. So obviously it's better for us, but I don't know if it's better for him
E
doing it again. We're going nine.
B
Oh, boy.
E
Yeah. I mean, it's, it's enough. You know, it's one thing to just have a diamond power of either veto, but it's another thing to have a diamond power of veto while being one of the best players in the house. And I think to combine these two nines of discussion of just like there's probably, you know, anybody that is rolling their eyes just in general. Oh, production, you know, and all that stuff. And they're having such an easy ride the way that the cast and the season is laid out. Like, I, I hear that, but I can't deny the position that these two have been in to get to. And we're specifically talking about Devin's here to get to this point in the season. Season, not be on the block. This week in particular, Lala said, I want to possibly go after Devins. And Devin's took this one key relationship that he has been forming and he has these all over the house. But the one that he needed this week was Taylor. He went to Taylor and said, hey, if there's anything you can do to put in a good word for me with, with, with Lala, I would appreciate it. And after he filled her in on the vote, you know, the, the messy vote that we're talking about, about that he very clearly was a part of this group and things could have been cleaner again. I get it. But he used that relationship in that last minute work that he put in with her to keep himself safe this week going forward. I mean, just look at what chaos erupted in the house this week while he's been on his pool floaty. He hasn't been involved. Nobody can look at him and say, he wronged me. He did this. Not a single person in there would be going after Devins for any other reason besides the fact that he's an icon and he's dangerous. And yeah, that's certainly valid. Valid. But also he has a diamond power of veto and he's not going home anytime soon. So I have to consider all of those things. And just. I again, was thinking about a 10, but I'll stick with the nine.
B
All right, I am more with Melissa here with the seven. I again, I do. I do think I can understand the nine, especially given that he's got a diamond power veto in his pocket. I do. I've personally seen. Seen D as just more of a mover and shaker. Like, I personally think I see the 9 more for D than. Than I do for Devin's, but I do think that Devin's lost less than D did and therefore had less to crawl back from. I think Devin's benefited more than D or Angela to keep both Melody and Drew in the house. And. And despite the fact that I'd wish. I wish that Devin's would do more work to keep Drew on board. And I don't like that he constantly talks about. More than anyone else now about targeting Drew like that. That's just the kind of stuff that just, like, makes me feel like Devin's. I. I know you're having fun, but you want to win too, right? But. But I do think that he. He lost the least, as I said. But I also think. Think that going along with it in the way that he did and blindsiding the. The red corner in the way that he did was still completely unnecessary and should have just been like, why don't we just talk them into it? Because they absolutely could have. And I'm so. I'm punishing him for that a bit. But his position remains relatively unchanged now in comparison to D and. And Angela, and he's got that time of power of veto. So question is, what does the audience think? They gave D A7, and they also gave Devin's A7. More sevens for Devins. All right, Matt, what's your hot take on Drew?
E
What do you mean hot take? Look, somebody mentioned this in the chat. I did actually peek. I shouldn't have, but I did. And luckily it's not that negative. But Dancing with the Stars will very often have a guest judge come in and they just like, woohoo. And I guess I'm bringing list what
B
we're here for, you know, like, because, I mean, listen, every. Every guest judge is going to have their own methods and like, they're not required to be, you know, all over the place. But. But, you know, Matt, you theoretically have less like, baggage to be like, well, last week I did this, so this week I've got to do this. So I, I appreciate the night.
E
And I'm, you know, not actually playing in the stock watch. I've. I don't know, it's so stressful. So I've not played in the past couple of. Of years, so nothing like that going on. But anyway, Drew, so yeah, last week he ends up at a 2. We know why he was, you know, so close to going out the door. I wouldn't have gone with the ones that you guys gave. I totally get why they got. But as you can tell, I'm a higher grader in general. I probably would have had at least the two this week. He's worked his way, you know, back into not. And it's like how much of the work that has been done here around Drew's better position has to do with what he's actually done himself versus the game that's been played around him. But it certainly looks. Looking much better for him. There's things that I wish he was doing more of and doing better along the lines of like him and Barrett both, I guess to kind of group them in with the same thought here are not, I think, giving enough attention to when do we do something about the icons. But in the way that the icons were using the red corner as their shield. Whether it's intentional or not, Drew and Barrett have that as a shield for them while having two built in allies in Melody and Mallory that are not going to go after them anytime soon. So positionally, I think he's doing incredible, but there's definitely room or room to be desired, whatever that I want him to be doing a little bit more. I'm gonna land on a five.
B
Five for Drew. I think a five sounds about right to me, to be honest. My. I mean, obviously a big bounce back for Drew. He survives the week. He's not on the block this week. I think that, you know, probably all of FAP will be here next week, which means that we will be. Oh, geez. How many people in the house right now? There's like 10 votes total, so there's 13. So we'll be down to 12 players, which means a full third of those players are FAP players. If he was like, it's funny, right? If he was locked in and really, like loyal to that group going to the end, the end, I'd actually love it. Like, that's a great group for him to be in the end with. Maybe you cut Mallory a bit early because she's a little too dangerous in those endgame comps. But theoretically, Drew is the best person at competitions in that end game. He'd probably win over Melody at this point. He'd probably even win over Barrett at this point. And, and, and I really think that should be his primary focus. I don't think it is yet. Yet it still could get to that place. I'm also a little bit concerned about, like, again, just foot off the gas a little bit. It kind of worked for him last week and maybe it would be dangerous if he. If he started doing too much with Taylor and Lala, but I don't love that Taylor's on the feeds right now talking to Kamu and Devin's about reinvigorating her tethers alliance with D and T and Lala and Angela and Yash and like, essentially bringing the vets into all of this. And it's just like I want Taylor to be courting FAP and FAP to be courting Taylor, not allowing the vets to continue to be in this golden position. So I agree with the five here.
A
Yeah, same. We thought he was a goner.
B
Wow, another five.
E
He was talking earlier, though. Real quick. He was talking earlier to maybe Kamu about how like, yeah, I was saying goodbye for two days to Melody. Like, we thought it was over.
B
Yeah.
E
And here we are, the audience
B
also. A5.
D
Wow.
E
A5.
A
Hear that?

Okay, then we are at Haley and I think I'm starting Haley here, here. So the question really is, does she get a one? Does she get a one this week? And maybe this is a hot take. I don't. I'm not gonna give her a one. I'm gonna give her a two. She's. She's not like she's Haley, right? Like, yes, she's been. She's been playing the same way all game and, and nothing has changed this week. It's just finally the grim reaper has come to her door like it always was going to. I actually don't hate how she played her previous hoh in terms of. And I talked about this last week in terms of the actual moves she was making. I think that it was just gonna be Drew until the last second and it was certainly gonna be Melody until the last second. And then coming into this week, things might have been a little better and Even then, like, she wasn't necessarily lala's primary target until Taylor switched off of Devin's, which is more just like being outplayed by other people more so than like actively doing something this week to tank her position. Obviously, she's a really bad player in general, but I personally like to save my ones for a situation where I'm like, what in the world are they doing? Why isn't Haley doing X? And it's like, maybe there are some things Haley could do right now, but it's not like she's again, like, she's like, you know, strategically dug her own grave. She's been socially digging her own grave for the last five weeks. So it's a two for me.
A
Yeah, I agree with that, too. For me as well. She's, you know, in a normal situation, yes, she didn't play her hoh right. Socially. But in a normal situation, the vote goes the way that it goes because that honestly was kind of the right move for everyone. And instead, you know, for the fun of it, the vets decided, let's flip this vote. Let's not tell them. If they truly were in an alliance together, they would probably tell Haley like, hey, we want to flip this vote. Not. We're just not going to tell them. We're going to lie about it. Like, it all just. It all just doesn't make sense. It's not the usual. It's not Haley. Anything Haley did that caused this. I think they just wanted to have fun. Fun. And so, yeah, for me, it's. It's not a one yet because I also feel like it's not a foregone conclusion that she is to go home. Yeah. It's just, I agree with Taryn. I like to keep the ones for someone who's like, really messing up their own game. And I really don't think that's what's going on here.
B
Yeah. And there is talk about potentially keeping her. I really feel like that talk will continue to happen throughout the week.
E
Does my thing here for her is that even if it does keep her, I just, I can't imagine a single world that she ends up at the end of the game with any chance of winning. It's not just like the. I said that for Barrett of like, oh, I don't think that Barrett has a resume right now. Okay. That's one thing. People like him, but he hasn't done much in the game. People don't like Haley and her HOH was a flop. Melody is making fun of her. Her, like, she's getting a one for me. How dare you, Matt, I'm sorry. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And she's had a really hard week and I'm making it harder on her by giving her a one, but she's just. She has not given me any reason to feel like she could ever be a decent player in the game. Watching her navigate, having power was a nightmare. Even having vets by her side to help her, it was just. It got in her head in a way that if it ever got. If she ever got power again, the exact same thing would happen. The reason that the red corner and Haley are left out of the vote is because, like, and this shouldn't have been the case but, like, d was like, I can't stand this girl. What am I supposed to do? Like, I can't even talk. I can't talk game to her. I can't talk personal to her. And they were doing so well or she was doing so well with that relationship early on. But it's just like, even Angela at this point has decided, you know, this isn't worth my time. When Angela put in weeks of investing into this relationship with him, really, but it's just not worth it. Kamu doesn't use the veto on her because it's not worth it. She has no way of attaching herself in a worthwhile way to anybody left. So even if she does stay, it's not going to go anywhere. So to me, that's a one.
A
That's a good point. I'm gonna change my score to a one, I think so. I. Yeah, you made me think about the fact that, like, okay, even if she stays is. I can't really envision a world where, like, she goes from the bottom and turns it around and gathers allies and, you know, finds her footing again. Because I do feel like she's not the type of player to be able to do that. I think people are done with her. They don't want to work with her anymore. And so a lot of the times when. When I give someone a two and they're on the block and there's a chance they go home, but there's also a chance they stay. The thought is that if they stay, they can build something back up. You know, they can. They can get themselves out of it or, like, do something new next week. But like you said, even if she were to get power, I think people would just be trying to, like, survive through the week and not be like, okay, now I can work with Haley and now we can form something new. I don't think anyone would actually be forming legitimate alliance with Haley. I think that would just add more fuel to the fire of, like, oh, we got to get her out because she can win competitions. Like, we're worried about her. So I. I don't know. I personally want her to stay because I feel like we need a good villain, and I think it's very fun to keep someone like that rather than someone who's boring or doesn't really give us much. So. But at the same time, yeah, I think you're right. A1.
E
I feel like I know I would know your answers based on. Especially for Taran, based on, like, the comps here, but if you were picking between, like, Haley and Keanu as to, like, who you would feel better about in a Big Brother season, if you can try to separate Keanu and. And all the comps, which way are you going?
B
I mean, I was. I was literally about to make that comparison. I was about to say that my counter to these ones is that it's only day 35 in the house. House, and they're going until day, like, 90 something. And at this point in the season, we would have said exactly the same thing about Keanu. I. I think you cannot underestimate what time and wins can do for you socially, strategically, etc. In the game. So I'm not quite with you guys on this, but.
A
But I think Keanu has a bit. Has charm to him or had charmed him in the season. Like, I. I don't.
E
I don't think it's charm. Rachel gave him charm by how they engaged with each other, I guess.
A
But, like, I don't. But I don't see anyone engaging with Haley in a way that gives her charm.
E
Right.
B
Like, what I will say is that, like, I agree. I agree. Like, Keanu obviously was much more likable, especially on the show, but in terms of. In the house, like, people were giving Keanu the little brother control, that didn't work. Like, there was not a single soul in that game, apart from sometimes Rachel that was actually trying to work with the man. They were all trying to get him gone for, like, more than half the season, which is actually worse than Haley's position has been where she actually did have some allies. She was part of a majority alliance. Like, you know, I agree. But, like, I think my point is that things. Things can change.
E
Yeah, we'll see.
A
All right. She's gonna win.
B
All right. The audience, I'm assuming, is a two here. I doubt they could get to a one.
E
Yeah.
B
Yes. All right, Melissa, what are your thoughts on Kamu?
A
I was so impressed with Kamu this week. I think that, that, you know, he got completely blindsided and found his way out of a horrible situation. I don't, I think, you know, it was very interesting to see him work. I think an easy nomination would have been okay. Yeah. There's three nominees. Let's set up Haley, Chuck and Kamu. Like, done. And instead he got himself in with Taylor, with Lala, with D. I mean, I was so impressed. I think D revealed her power to him and I know it could just be like, oh, well, she was just trying to gain favor or whatever, but it's like she still did it. Why does she feel like she has to gain favor with somebody who was presumably on the outs and could be an easy target? Like, I feel very impressed with him now. At the same time, I don't think he's completely lost his. The target on his back or he's like in a good, safe spot now. But this reshuffle actually went really well for him. This could have been, you know, really awful. He could have stuck with Haley and Chuck and just been like, look, you guys are my allies. Like, we're in it together. And he jumped ship when he knew he had a jump ship. It wasn't a lyric jumping ship when she didn't need to jump. This was a really, truly legitimate ship jump. That actually feels like it worked now. It feels like, like someone in the chat just said he's a free agent now, that that's a very powerful position to be in at this point. He's not tied himself to Haley and Chuck now, like we said, do we think it's right that he didn't use the veto or that he dropped them so aggressively? Like, I don't know. But I was very impressed with the way he was able to do it. And people in the house seem to really like, like him and want to talk with them and want to work with him. And I feel like that's, you know, Haley and Chuck don't have that. So I was very impressed with him this week. Oh, this is tough. Because I honestly would want to, like, I'd want to give him a seven, but we gave. I gave D and Devin's a seven and I don't feel like it was like, on their level yet. So I think I'm just going to jump up to a six. Six. But it's a high six and I think he could get higher.
E
I'm going to make a very surface level Comparison just for the sake of, like, the ease of my brain understanding it, I feel like comma is kind of emerging as and I'm so sorry to this person. She's not going to hear this. But bailey, big brother, Canada, 12 of just like the power of that season was around spicy and Anthony and that was like the control of the game. They had everything down pat. And then Bailey emerges and ultimately wins the season as like this newbie that just like, gets the game and is really good at it, plays alongside them. And that's just a little bit of what's happening here where Kamu is still sticking by their side but finding so many other paths and other ways to incorporate himself into other areas of the house. Now there is a spot that could be tricky for him with Melody, Mallory and definitely Barrett would go after him in a heartbeat. Drew is a little tricky. Drew is probably going to keep throwing hoh comps for the at least for now he doesn't need to win, but he at least feels like he doesn't need to win. So common does have people that could come after him, but it's not like it's the three biggest comm threats in the house. Not to completely discount them the week. The work that he put in this week was incredibly impressive, especially at the beginning keeping himself safe. Like, he had that fight that I can only think back to, like last season of like that. Like, Rachel going in there to talk to Vince. Like, he went in there and said, I'm not letting you go until you at least hear every single possible pitch that I give to you. And we went from Haley and Chucker to going to be off the block. Haley's getting backdoored. If the veto gets used to, oh, now they're on the block. You're not even in consideration. We're in an alliance. So, like, it is all very impressive. Again, the fact that people are still saying his name in a pretty big way is troubling for him. But one of the biggest relationships that was made better this week is Kamu and D. If I'm looking at D as one of the power players in the house, of course I am. Dee and Devin's together. I think that Taryn, you've talked about this whole a lot that D especially views Kamu as someone that they should really keep on their side, help them win comps, help them keep power over there. And I think his spot is pretty okay. I'm. I'm pretty much in lockstep with Melissa as far as I think this could be a Seven. But I'm going to play it a little safer and just go with the six.
B
Yeah, I'm, I'm, I'm with you guys. I had a six in mind. And this is, again, this is a rating where. And you'll, you'll notice it in the tweets I was making. Like there was a time in this week in that 24 hour period where he got himself off the block and Dee was revealing her power to him, where I was like, oh, wow, I think Kamu is going to be the highest rated person on my board this week. I think he's going to be as high as an 8. But then it's the way I'm sort of seeing it in my mind is that like he woke up from the slumber that the, the vets had put him in where, like, he had been put to sleep early on in the season and he was like deeper and deeper. And then last week things were really bad. He was fully asleep at the wheel and then they decided to like, let him wake up. They woke him, they were like, hey, blindside. And he was like, what? Wait, hold on, I should be working against the vets. And he did some amazing work, but then D kind of got back to him and was like, no, no, it's okay. Okay, you can go back to sleep. And so now he's kind of like drifting back off to sleep as his position is interesting. I gave him a low rating last week and I've been saying this all week long, that I was really prepared to come in this week. I was like, he really played poorly last week. He's gonna come in, he's gonna hit the block, he's gonna be an absolute target. He managed to save himself. I'm really impressed by, by that. But he does have some things to worry about. This alliance he's trying to put together of the two trios, the, the Vets and the Yash Taylor Lala thing, it's tenuous. And he remains a target amongst that group from fap, which is bad news if they do decide to win some things, especially Mallory. And I also think that both groups will happily let him go if he doesn't, doesn't win to save himself. So I do think he's got a little bit of trouble still coming forward, but the fact that again, I think he's one of the better competitors. I think he's in a great spot and I think that this, this could be the floor for him or he could be in, in major trouble if he doesn't win. Things, but, but either way, I think Kamu might be a volatile stock to look at the audience. Thanks. The same six across the board, very consistent. All right, Matt, what do you think about Lala?
E
What an interesting week, right? Obviously incredible for her winning this hoh, getting herself into power. I've loved hearing Rob and his, you know, I was totally counting her out and then all of a sudden she comes in and wins the wall. And it's a moment that we will never forget her winning this competition and coming into power now, I guess in general, I would say I don't love how, how influenced she is by other people. At least it's Taylor that's like co signing all of this stuff. Who's her close ally? They're gonna be working. They have been working together. They're going to be working together. So it's not like she's just listening to anybody. But it's tough. It's like you, you, if you feel strongly about, I don't know, going after Devin's or if you felt strongly about some of these other things, I do want you to follow your gut to an extent. And there was a couple of. There's a variety of moves that I think could have been been good for her. Ultimately she's doing the house's work this week, not something that like more specifically benefits her. It's so funny that Haley discounted her last week and now Haley could go home because of lala. So a lot to talk about with her here, I guess specifically I want to look at the score she got last week, average of a three and I have to think that she's gone up for sure from that. So I would at least go to a four. A matter of like, is she enough to go to a five at this point? I don't know that after this week we're going to be talking about, well, now that Lala had power for a week. Like, the big thing for me is that she didn't build enough this week. She didn't use this power well enough to bring other people in and solidify things. D she, she said to D, oh, honor society. We're the honor society. Of course you're not going up. And now D is like talking about, I want Lala and Taylor to go out soon. They're my targets. That should not be the outcome of your HOH week. So while there was some good done here, it wasn't enough. She didn't have enough people circulating in her HOH room that were like consistently making something work for the future. For her. So four should be enough of a bump for, you know, where she was.
B
I completely agree. That's exactly where I was at as well. I love that she won this hoh. I've been higher on Lala than most. I gave her the three last week. I am going to give her a bump. I think this win is huge for her on her resume, but I don't think she's getting as much respect for it as she should should because most people are looking at this more like a Taylor HOH than a Lala hoh. And on top of that, she is now in the line of fire from the vets, which is obviously very dangerous. That's not your ideal outcome from an HOH win like this. So still a bump, but some. Some things limit it from being more
A
of a bump for me or for me as well. I mean, what an exciting HOH win. I really did not think it was possible. I absolutely will admit I countered it her out and I was like, yeah, she's. She can go. She's not. She's not contributing anything. But that was amazing. So. Yeah, but like you said, not building enough. I thought that when the yash camu Taylor for some was like, hey, maybe that we're going to make something and maybe we'll go against the bets and what are we going to do? That was exciting to me. But then just like bringing the vets in and the vets just still want to go after Lala and aren't really thinking of it as a race real thing. Like, okay, that kind of blows it. So. Yeah.
B
All right, Chad is predicting an audience five. You'd think they'd know and they do. It's a five from the audience. All right, let's move on to Mallory. Obviously, good week for Mallory. If Haley leaves, if Chuck leaves, it's all good for Mallory. Barrett on the block isn't great for Mallory. Valerie, it's just, you know, it means he's more likely to go up on the block again. He's an ally of hers. She is being looked at, but not super seriously. People really like her in the house. She is a good competitor. There are bigger targets now developing in front of her, which I actually really like. They know she doesn't have a power anymore, but they also know America likes her, which is like kind of the perfect blend right now. Now, the worst thing, the best thing for her game right now is that the vets are starting to focus on Taylor and Lala, which means they've got. She's got so much like space to breathe. And now they are looking at fap and Mallory is probably the first target there. But every time the vets talk about Mallory being the first target, they go, we love her so much though maybe we would target Drew first or Mallory and it really just depends. Depends because they would leave Barrett and Melody as the two sort of like non competitors of the group. And so I, I, I really, I like where she's at. I would consider a 6 just on potential alone, but I don't think we're quite there yet. I think I have to stick to my five. It was a good week for her, but she just hasn't done enough personally to capitalize on that. Good week for her, I think for me to go up.
A
Agreed. 5 for me as well.
E
Same. I, yeah, I hate to just jump on but I will. I, I need to see more 5 being like that neutral spot here of she positionally she's okay, but there's just not, I guess enough gameplay happening with both her and Melody. So I'm just, you know, I'm gonna repeat the same thing in a minute or just come back to this. That neither of them spend enough time, uh, gaming with, with really the rest of the house outside of their two close friends. Mallory really lucks out in like you said, Taryn, like, she does have a lot of love from the vets, especially Devin's like, really, I feel like he just sees her like a daughter. Like, he just like loves her so much and the others too. Like, Angela has a good relationship with them. D doesn't talk a lot of game with them, but like whenever she does, she's like, oh, I like them. They're, they're fun. But game wise it's uh, it's just we're not really moving anywhere. So. Yeah. Five.
B
All right. The audience agrees.
E
Wow.
B
Another five for Mallory. Melissa, what are your thoughts on Melody?
A
Well, I'm so happy that Melody is here because I really did not think we would see Melody this week. I'm very pleased. I like Melody a lot. I think that she is in a decent spot. I mean that now I think she's like similar to Mallory and Drew. Like, I feel like if they've got this fab alliance, okay, I say that they've got this little, this alliance and I think people don't see her as a good competitor. So there could be a situation where she just kind of falls to the side and there are bigger fish to fry and she maybe can skate through and hopefully build some stuff, you know, just similar to Mallory, it's like I want to see more, I want to see her building more relationships outside of that. But like you said earlier, Taryn, like, as the house numbers dwindle, the fact that they're a foursome becomes more important and more powerful. So, you know, we'll see what happens. But at this point, I'm going to give her a five.
E
So I had in my head that I was going to give her a five, but just thinking about it here and now, I think I gotta go with a four. And I know that's weird because these two are so in lock step and I really, really like Melody. If this was like, entertainment wise, she's getting a 10 for me, but just like really thinking it through, I feel like she's in a pretty tough position game wise. If this happens to be the end game and the four of them make it deep, I think she might lose to Mallory and I think she might lose to Drew and that's not a good spot to be in being also in that position of having a close tie with two different people. Like, I feel like she should be working a little harder to make relationships with other people because it just makes her stand out so much more now. She's gotten really lucky that D has completely just been like, melody's nothing. She's not going to win whatever Taylor this week was, you know, even last week, like, she likes Melody. I think she's, she calls her OD more than anybody else and it seems like an affectionate type of nickname to an extent, even though it's obviously just to make sure she's getting the right Mel or Mal. But I don't know, there's just like a little bit less of a connection that I feel like is there with her and a lot of other people in the house than Mallory has just from Natural Social game. So it's really not like a huge knock on her. It's just there's just a little bit less there and I want her to be doing even more than I want Mallory to be doing given her position.
B
Yeah, I agree. I, I did think about a 5 as well, but I, I too much of that was based on the fact that I think she might win. Win the next time capsule vote. And I can't bank on that. Not only can I not bank on that, but obviously it's not like a guarantee she actually gets a power and even if she does get a power, it's not a guarantee that she gets anything useful. I do think that FAP being a thing is actually really good for her. They are now seen as a foursome that more so than her as a couple with Drew. And I think that's really good because cuz instead of it being like we need to separate Drew and Melody, it's instead we need to take one of their numbers out and she would be like the last on the list of people they take out. They don't need to take Melody out for any reason now. So I think that's good. But it's only good in the sense that she's being dragged along. And generally if you're being dragged along, the highest I can give you is about a four.
E
The audience, the Barrett rationale, I feel like it's pretty similar now that I'm thinking, you know, they got the same number. It's just like both of them are just kind of looking a little bit less active and. And just like likely winners than their other two counterparts.
B
Yeah, the audience gave her a five. Look at that.
E
Okay.
B
Agreed with Melissa. Okay, Matt, thoughts on Taylor? Taylor.
E
Wow, this is another tough one. Probably as tough as like trying to figure out the exact number for Kamu because Taylor was HOH this week. Let's just say that this was her hoh week. Whatever she ultimately told lala that she thought made the most sense was going to pretty much always happen. And it did. The only reason that I think at this point for me and maybe for you guys as well is just as far. As far as like not giving her the highest possible rating that you might have thought earlier in the week is that D is on to her. Dee has a lot of power in the house. D has a lot of influence. And if she is coming for Taylor, that's not great. But I also, in the same way that I commended D want to commend not a nine, not an eight, probably not a seven. I think I might land on a six here. I just. I want to commend her for how much she's doing. I want to commend her for how much she gives, gets the game, how much she's thinking through the game so far beyond where I feel like she started in the game. It was like week one she was talking about, yeah, you know, if I end up like going home, it is what it is. She kept saying getting here was for. For me. I wanted to be on the show and. And do the experience. But, like, going far, she keeps saying was like for her, her students. She wants her students to see her go farther on the show. But like now she's playing, now she gets the game and she's locked in and she's trying to make things happen. But there's a couple of. Of spots within the house, specifically right now, D that she's not seeing and not getting to. To. To fix before it becomes a problem. I do think that she's not totally in danger. Even if, like, D comes into power next week and decides to go after Taylor, I think she could talk her way out of it, but it's. It's just dangerous. So, like 6 is probably the highest I can go of, like, giving her that credit, but not too far out.
B
I agree. I was thinking. I was thinking of five or six. I think her position is more of a five. Five, but. But she's one of the only people in the house that recognizes the threat of the vets and is actually trying to do something about it. And it's part of what's putting her in danger, but it is also part of what gives her some of the most amount of potential. I do think she's in a lot of potential trouble, but if she doesn't end up in trouble next week, she. I mean, her position from last week to this week is just so much. It's more dangerous, but it's also more potential. That's. I think that's the main thing. She's in more danger, but she also has more upside. And that's, you know, that's pretty good for a week where her ally won this hoh. I think I'm giving her a slight bump here because I like the general direction she's trying to go. It's just she's got to be careful.
A
Yeah. I'm worried for Taylor. I really like her, though. I think, first of all, she's very entertaining and very funny. Funny. And I like how strategic she is. But I feel like sometimes I don't agree with her strategy and I'm kind of like, oh, I don't know if that's. I don't know if that's right. I don't know if that's the right move. But I appreciate that she's going for it and I appreciate that she's like, okay, I'm controlling this hoh. I'm going to tell Lala what to do. I mean, it would have been very easy for her to kind of just be like, hey, look, you won hoh. Like, let's just like, have fun with it. And instead she's like, no, this is what we're doing. And I really do appreciate that. But yeah, I do think that she's in danger because people, especially after this week, people recognize that she's good. People recognize that she has this power and that she has Lala and that she knows the game and that she is interested in coming after the vets. I feel like she's sharing a lot of information rather than. And just like getting the information and it makes me very nervous. Yeah, I'm. I'm vacillating between a five and a six. I think, I think I would like to give her the six because I feel like I want her to, to be a six and I want her to be. To do well next week and not be in danger and all that, but I don't know. So I'm going to give her a six mix just to go. Just to have some positivity and hope that that's the case.
E
I just want to like, pick her up like she's a little Sims character in the house and just continuously drop her in with FAP and just be like, no, stay here, stay here.
A
Yeah, just drink it.
E
Just stay with them. Because like, they, they share a room together. There's been plenty of times that they like, kind of confide in each other just through that bedroom. And it just like it should work, but it just, it requires them to
B
wake up too, though, like fabric, like going to FAP without them realizing they should work with Taylor. And Lala is, is a death sentence at the moment, unfortunately. She'll just get ratted out.
E
I mean, if Lala was gone, which it's hard to see a world that Lala goes before Taylor just given if, if that, if the two of them get targeted, then like they, you know, maybe at that point FAPS is like, oh, absolutely, we should try to bring Taylor. And she's by herself now and doesn't have the extra person, but I just really wish she could end up over there. I think that would help.
B
All right, well, does the audience agree with the six? They do. Straight sixes for Taylor. She's right with Kamu. Look at that. Taylor and Kamu sixes across the board. Final person, Yash and, and, and here we go. Yash last week was a 5. Historically has been quite low in the stock. Watch. 2, 3, 3. Last week a big jump to a 5. 5. And let me tell you, this week for me, Yash is easily the breakout. I mean, Yash has improved his positioning tremendously this week. The, the game opened up, the board opened up for him in a major way and he really took advantage of it. He has got himself into, probably included into this Kind of like tether Z group, this grouping with Lala, Taylor and Kamu. He maintains his cover being the other anti vet player in the house, but nobody knows like the vets don't know that Yash is doing that. He's getting vouched for by various people. Taylor and Lala are basically taking all the heat for his positions and he, we already know, is at least somewhat capable of winning competitions. The vets talk about how he will need to go eventually, but man, that will suck because they love him so much. And even Drew, who Yash got caught on this vote voting Drew out. He's supposed to be in the Dapper Dan's with Drew. He got caught saying the showmance needs to get split up and Drew found out about it. The worst he's saying about Yash is like he's a little wishy washy
D
and
B
it's just like who's targeting this man? And he, as he continues to learn the game and learn how to play and maneuver, it's starting to look like he is the true dark horse of the season right now. I'm giving him a seven.
A
Yeah. No, I mean I do think that Yash is in a real, is in a much better position than he was was last week. That's for sure. Man, I don't know if I can give him a 7 though. I feel like that's a little higher. I don't know, I haven't quite seen enough. Yeah, I have been impressed with, impressed with him. I feel like he's in a much better spot now when he really had like nothing going on before and now people want to work with him and people like are trusting him and why you keep him around round. So yeah, I'm definitely gonna go up to a six because I feel like, yeah, he's, he's impressed me this week for sure.
E
I echo just about every single thing that Taryn said and I thought I was gonna echo his score, but he went a point lower than I was expecting. Oh yeah.
A
Oh my God, Yash.
E
Honestly, I would have. I, I, to be fair, you gave
B
D and Devin's name nines. You had more room to do this.
E
That's true, Yash. Like, even last week I, I kind of felt like the fives were a little too low. I think I've seen a lot of potential in him. I mean, it's grown significantly every single week since week one where he barely escaped, you know, being the first boot, but it's just been continuously more and more impressive. I mean, I want to say the same thing for him that I said or that I was thinking for Kamo. I don't know if I ended up saying it of just like rebounding after being on the outs of this last vote. Feels like something that could have gone really horribly wrong for a lot of players. But both of them did just fine with it. If, if anything they did great with it. And Yash is just like you just said Taran, like who in the world is coming after him? He not only has you know this like see seemingly like newly like really locked in thing with Taylor and Lala, he's, he's their Yashi but him and Kamu are like connecting in the way that Kamu wants to to like this is. Kamu and Yash are what people thought Kamu, Chuck and Haley were like. That's what they have become at this point. They are just so in lockstep. Yash and Devin seem like they're good for the, for the majority of the time he's. He just. I just can't think of anybody who would actually come for him now. D, earlier today was talking a little bit of like, yeah, I have to keep an eye on Yash. I think you just said that Taran. But it's still like when he comes in the room, the back and forth that they have. I think back to when Dark was in that gym blow up that Haley and Angela were having deep holes. Yash outside and is like, so I'll say it was you, you say it was me. We're gonna go in there and lie. Just like he's down. He's down for the game that D is playing. And I feel like every step of the way he can just camouflage himself into whatever's happening and no one's thinking twice about it. So I don't know, going with an 8.
A
I do appreciate that whenever Yash, whenever someone brings like Yash an idea or whatever, he's just like y let's go, let's go. And I feel like if I was in the house and I brought an idea to someone and they were so enthusiastic or so like on board for whatever I was saying that would make me want to work with them. I'd be like, yeah, this person's on board with me. They know like they're totally in it. Like, yeah, I can see why people want to work with Josh for sure.
E
I think he could be the most successful in leading the anti icon revolution. If it happens anytime soon or whenever it happens, I could easily see him being the figure ahead of It I
B
think he is somebody that could get. Could get Kamu to look at the vets in a way that I'm not sure anybody else could. People are saying like, oh, like Taryn, you rate Yash the same as the vets. Devin says a diamond power of veto. To which I would reiterate that, that I currently D and Devins are being kind of docked for. I thought kind of poor decision making in terms of the blood blindside. And Yash is getting some boosts because I think he's playing really well relative to his position. And. And he was a five last week only because he would have been a six. I think for me only because there was rumblings that Angela was going to want to try to target him. That's now gone. He has freed himself from Angela entirely. She fully believes that that was all nonsense. So just great stuff, I think, from Yash last week. I'm very curious to see what the audience thinks because I do think Matt and I went a little higher than people might have expected. I think a 6 might be the highest they would go and that is a six.
E
Okay, well, not bad. Goes up two points.
B
Yeah, big, big jump for Yash. We have an increase for Devin's D holding at an 8. We have a big jump for COP Mamu. A lot of people's games went up because this is again the thing and this is the result of what we're talking about. Like the vets making this decision allowed everyone's game to rise up. Before we were talking about how the vets were just like so far ahead and they just let a bunch of people catch up. And that's part of why again, for me, it's like the. Their ratings are slightly lower this week and other people are catching up to them in these races ratings now they might start pulling ahead again. They do have all these powers and all of that stuff is true. But the, you know, the average rating is. Is. Is on the rise here, I think. So we'll see where it all goes. All right. Anything else to mention before we wrap up here?
A
No. Exciting week.
E
Yeah.
A
I hope it stays exciting.
E
You said it, Taryn. About like, you know, we need to go through the downs so that the ups feel as riveting as they have for the past couple of days. So, you know, the Haley hoh, it started really rough and then as that week came to a close, we were in a really good place and now it's kind of leveled itself out a little bit. It'll be really interesting to see what happens with the vote between Chuck and Haley, do we, have we even discussed, do we feel like we feel confident which way it would go if the vote was held today between the two of them?
B
I think if it was held today, Haley would be evicted. And I, and I do, do, I do think, despite the rumblings, I do think Haley will, Will. Will stay the target. But that's like 45, 55 right now. I do think there's a high chance it switches. I just think that it's a little more likely to stay. I could, honestly, I could see a scenario where D and Angela and Devins get fully in bed with Taylor and La Lala. Like, yeah, we're working together. We're totally. And then they're like, why are we keeping Chuck for them? And then they like flip the vote. You know what I like, I could absolutely see them doing that again, but I don't know if they, I, they. I think they'd feel reluctant to do it so soon.
E
But Melody's gonna want Haley out bad and that's gonna be. Mallory goes with it and Drew and Barrett are gonna be, you know, happy to go along with that. So I feel like those votes are locked in there. But also, I mean, the, the higher percent chance is that one of Chuck or Haley win the blockbuster in which, as again, you've said the other one just goes home.
B
Yeah.
A
Yeah.
B
All right, then that is what we have for you this week on the round table. Always fun to have some shifts in the numbers and the data. We'll be back next week for more. I'll be back tomorrow morning to update you on everything that happens today and will happen today on The Big Brother 28 live. Live feeds. Make sure you check out my Patreon where I am doing all kinds of fun live streams during the episodes during the feeds and watching other shows over there. Tons of stuff happening. Plus big project coming in the off season. I'm going to be re watching Big Brother 2 and providing live feed updates from Big Brother 2 day by day. Like you're watching the season in real time, live feed context plus episodes. It's going to be a good time. Make sure you come over to my Patreon for stuff that like, like that. Matt, what do you got going on?
E
Yeah, I'm gonna need that immediately because over on the Diary Room, myself and Amman, every single week we're trying to find the best player in Big Brother history. It's been a lot of fun. We're in round two of our competition. It's a randomized wheel that that spits out six names an episode. And currently we're also doing Big Brother 28 players that get evicted. They're having a matchup to see if they qualify to even make it into the next round. So an episode is coming out tomorrow with Maggie Morgan as our guest and we'll if who Jason. Right. Because Lyric is the next one if Jason qualifies for the next round or not. We're also going to be talking very soon to Big Brother 27's captain, Will. So excited to talk to him. Otherwise, Dancing with the Stars coverage here on rhap. Myself and Sasha are talking Dancing with the Stars, the next pro. So check that out. There was a new episode tonight and we are now down to the final five. And lastly, the Free Agents podcast. Make sure you're checking out myself and Brian Scally's coverage of the challenge 40 too. It's happening right now. Talked about Keanu tonight and talking about him over on the challenge as well. So the Free Agents podcast for all of that. That's all I got.
B
All right. And Melissa, gone live on Twitch yet?
A
Not yet, but I'm going to. I'm figuring it out. This was tough because I was at my parents house and so I was like, I'm not gonna like. They would not be pleased if I spent my time on Twitch and not spending time with them the limited time that I have with them. So make sure you follow. I will do it.
B
It's Melissa. Duh. On Twitch. So that you will be.

This week’s Big Brother 28 Roundtable marks the halfway point of the season, coming off a whirlwind week of dynamic game moves, a wall endurance comp, and a major blindside that sent shockwaves through the house. The hosts rate and debate player positions, analyze feed highlights, discuss audience survey results, and offer sharp strategic critiques on where each houseguest stands as chaos reigns in the BB28 house.
“Did they need to do it in a blindside? No. Was it fun? Yes.” — Taran (06:51)
“At least I'm viewing basically four different groups... one of those groups is Kaylee and Chuck, which is not a group anymore. They're a sinking ship.” — Matt (08:55)
“There's never been a chance so far where any of them are even like close to going on the block.” — Melissa (10:36) “If next week and the week after the shot gets taken at the icons, the diamond power veto is probably bad for Angela. She might remain the only vet left on the block to take a shot at.” — Taran (73:44)
“She pulled off a move that was, I thought, sort of ill conceived, the blind side... but she did come out the other side of it and played really well to actually make it not that bad.” — Taran (83:08)
“If I'm D and Devins, I'm like, oh, we can't trust Angela to keep her mouth shut.” — Melissa (72:32)
“I absolutely will admit I counted her out and I was like, yeah, she can go. But that was amazing.” — Melissa (120:58)
“You need to go through the downs so that the ups feel as riveting as they have for the past couple of days.” — Matt (140:35)
“Every doctor [DR] is a banger.” — Matt on Melody’s popularity (34:25)
Melissa, on Lala’s Wall Win:
“It's like movie moment. Amazing. [...] She was amazing, and I should not have stereotyped her in that way.” (13:17)
Matt, on D's Strategic Power:
“She can just do things that normal people playing these games cannot do, and I can't not give her credit for it.” (86:36)
On Yash’s Rise:
“He is the true dark horse of the season... I'm giving him a seven.” — Taran (134:44)
“Yash and Kamu are what people thought Kamu, Chuck & Haley were—now, they're just so in lockstep.” — Matt (135:59)
On the Social Cost of the Blindside:
“She creates a lot of the need for that work herself.” — Melissa on D (84:59)
On Player Popularity:
“Every doctor is a banger.” — Matt (34:25) [On Melody’s DRs as driving her popularity]
Keeping the Power Structure Fluid:
The “blockbuster” twist and power volatility keep long-range alliances fragile and houseguests on their toes.
“Everybody is all over the place. [...] it really did feel like the whole game was just wide open and anything could happen.” — Melissa (12:18)
The Perils of Fun for Fun’s Sake:
D and Devins’ decision to flip the vote for fun injected life into the season, but cost the veterans significant strategic capital, letting several contenders catch up to their previously unchallenged lead.
Managing Social Capital:
The importance of not just making strategic moves, but maintaining trust and relationships—Angela’s confession is a case study in what not to do.
Adaptability as Key (Kamu & Yash):
The players who can re-align quickly and credibly (Kamu’s escape, Yash’s surge) become crucial swing votes and dark horses in a season with little sustained structure.
| Player | Hosts’ Consensus | Audience | Key Context | |----------|------------------|----------|-------------------------| | D | 7–9 | 7 | Social backflips post-flip| | Devins | 7–9 | 7 | Safe, passive, has power| | Angela | 3–5 | 5 | Self-sabotage, expendable| | Drew | 5 | 5 | Recovered, needs action | | Mallory | 5 | 5 | Popular, needs more game| | Melody | 4–5 | 5 | DR queen, passive | | Barrett | 3–4 | 4 | Pawn risk, invisible | | Taylor | 6 | 6 | Social driver, risky | | Lala | 4 | 5 | HOH but too guided | | Kamu | 6 | 6 | Free agent, volatile | | Yash | 6–8 | 6 | Social riser, under radar| | Chuck | 2 | 2 | Sinking social ship | | Haley | 1–2 | 2 | No path, pariah |
