He will do it again. Hello everyone and good morning. Welcome to our live feed update for July 11th. I'm your host Taren Armstrong and I'm here to update you on everything that happened yesterday on the Big Brother 28 live feeds. It was, I actually forgot to double check, but I believe day four in the house. And if it wasn't, then I'll let you know tomorrow. And it was the first night of feeds. They officially opened right after Big Brother unlocked. There was, there was a literal physical lever that was pulled and, and the feeds actually came on right away. Pretty, pretty rare in the history of Big Brother for the feeds to come on in a timely fashion. In addition to that, though, it's pretty rare for the feeds to to start on a Friday. On a Friday with the current schedule, typically this would have happened maybe on a Sunday closer to day six in the House post veto competition. A lot of times that happens. Or maybe it would have been like a live move in, or maybe it would have been something else. But a Friday is interesting because the feeds opened right after the nominations, not right after the nominations had taken place, but the nominations had taken place earlier in the day like the normal schedule would have happened. And, and we are waiting for the veto to happen today on Saturday. So it's an interesting time. But I'm, I'm very excited to be here. If you're new here, if you're, if you're watching this live feed update and you're like, I'm new to Big Brother updates or I'm new to the, the this live feed update, I'll be live every morning, 11am Eastern. We have a good time. I mentioned it on the, on the recap, but last year I opened the updates talking about the, the book that I wrote in there it is behind the Mirror Inside the World of Big Brother. I just want to, if you haven't seen the recaps or anything, thank everyone so much for buying the book and for reading the book and for liking the book and for all of this stuff. It's been really, really amazing. And now there are, there's. I heard a couple people in the house who have read the book, which is pretty, pretty wild. But we are here. How this works is I'm going to go through the events of yesterday, especially here in the beginning of the season. It tends to be a little more scattered. I am going to give you, for the most part, the story of yesterday because there's not that much to go over. But I'm also going to try and just give you the general overview of what things appear to be in terms of like the house guests and their place in the house and the potential alliances that are that are going on. I will pull up a graphic still a little bit in the works here. This is what we've got right now. But sorry to quickly potentially spoil some things. But I'll, I'll pull up the graphics so you can see who I'm talking about because obviously names and faces might be a little difficult as we start out. But, but generally I'll have that graphic up all season long to, to not only give you a reference, but to, to give you the update on, like, where things actually stand, who's HOH, who's nominated, etc. So that's what we do here. Of course, I am not a holy source of truth. I am but a. But a Jonathan Penner storyteller. I do my best to accumulate as much knowledge as possible. I do my best to give voice to as many sides as I can. But I am but one human being and I, of course, have my own perspective and biases. And you know, if, if you are particularly sensitive to that, of course make sure you are looking at things on your own. But you certainly, you know, can enjoy the ride with me if you want as well. So let's. No more preamble. Let's get straight into this because it's the first night of feeds and we've got some interesting things to talk about. So I guess the final thing to say is of course all spoilers are. Are fair game here. If you have stumbled into this and you're like, wait, what is. I don't have who's. Who's in the house. I'm gonna tell you all of that. I'm gonna tell you who is in the house. If you didn't watch Unlocked, I'm going to tell you who won hoh. I'm going to tell you who was nominated and. And all kinds of things. So let's jump in. Last night, the feeds opened and they opened to a conversation between D and Taylor. And that's because very, very quickly we learned that. Quite frankly, we learned earlier than the feeds coming up, but we learned that Dee was the HOH DE who has entered the game from. From the episode and Unlocked. I don't know, maybe they'll like, do a recap on the Sunday episode of Unlocked. Or maybe they really are just kind of positioning Unlocked as a regular episode of the show. Either way, DE has entered the game and she won HOH amongst the three of herself, Devins and Angela. Because only three of them were competing. Devin's and his team apparently came in last place. They were behind Angela in the competition when it finished. And so Devin's, Taylor, Chuck, Haley and Drew, I believe, believe that's the crew are all have nots sleeping in a have not bed. That seems pretty bad, actually. One of the worst ones I've seen potentially, because it. It's a big wheel. It's a big wooden looking wheel that spins as they sleep. So they're all sleeping. It's got. It's a wheel with like dividers for each of the sleeping people, which on its own, I was like, that's not bad at all. But then it starts spinning and the sound this thing makes. I mean, I. I can honestly. Let me see if I might be able to let you hear it for a moment. Oh, no, no. The feeds are down right now. It's diabolical. It's diabolical. It's a loud, squeaky noise. Anyway, so we learned that D is the hoh, Devin's and his crew are the have nots. And we also learn. I'll pull up the graphic now that D has nominated Taylor Mallory and Yash. Who are Taylor, Mallory and and Yash, you might ask. Well, hopefully the graphic will help you if you're watching along. If you're. Listen, Taylor is the. The woman who in the preseason talked about her. Her strategy of creating three teams. And in Unlocked last night, which quite frankly you should, you should watch. If you hadn't watched it, you should watch it. You know, I know a lot of people like to watch Big Brother without watching the episodes, and that's a very valid choice that a lot of people enjoy, but you should at least watch like the, the opening couple because there's some stuff in there that won't be part of the feeds. Of course, Taylor, it was shown in Unlocked last night that she had a big reaction to. To not being hugged or acknowledged by Devins when he walked in. And it's. It's tough to know exactly if that might have been a reason that she was nominated here, but. But that is another at least, and I say big reaction. She walked into a different room and seemed upset about it. As far as we saw on the episode, nobody seemed to catch that. She walked away potentially. But if that was a thing, and it sounds like it might have been at least a little bit, then that could explain this. She also wasn't. I, I would say she didn't seem to have the most amount of connections in the house so far. Taylor. So she is on the block. She's also a have not. She was struggling last night. We saw her crying in the have not room. And she doesn't seem to have a lot of people on her side that she is connected to. Pretty much the only person I saw really talking about, like, having her back in any real sense was Lala, who is Latrice. And she had mentioned at some point in the night that Taylor is her girl and she wants to look out for her and potentially use the veto on her if she were to win the veto. So that's Taylor. The feeds opened to Taylor having a conversation with D up in the hoh room. D was apologizing. Taylor was, you know, it was like

you know, like a reconciliatory kind of conversation where they're like, it's the post nomination kind of thing. And Taylor was seemingly like genuinely somewhat understanding, they say genuinely, but like, you usually have that kind of conversation in a way where it's like, oh, are you really understanding? And. And D seemed to genuinely not be too upset with Taylor herself. Seemed like just kind of maybe an easy nomination. Who knows exactly what the reason is the point is Taylor's on the block. There's going to be more on Taylor later, but I want to talk more as well because we didn't get much of that conversation between D and Taylor ended very quickly. But another person on the block is Yash. Yash was a little surprised to be on the block and this is because he felt kind of good. He was actually on Dee's team and helped her win the hoh. And according to Jason and, and I believe Yash talked about this as well. D had kind of initially told her team, you're good, like, don't worry, and then was a little bit blindsided by being put on the block. Now, despite that, he seems to be taking it very well. He's not very concerned. He feels like he's got the backing of the house and, and that seems to be genuine for the most part. Most people are not looking at Yash as a potential target from what we can gather. And I'll tell you why in a bit. It does seem like Yash was a bit of a last minute switch in some ways. It seems make like potentially like it might have been more like Drew on the block before, maybe, or maybe someone else. Who knows? Exactly. But that D had kind of switched over to Yash instead. And. And so Yash is on the block. Yash, similarly to Taylor, doesn't seem to have a ton of really tight connections, but he is generally well liked and as I said at the moment, not really seen as a target. Barrett, yes, Barrett was also mentioned as a target, but I don't know exactly if that's real. We'll get into it. So. So Yash is on the block. Yash, of course, is the last minute alternate that was added to the cast after Levi dropped out. If you hadn't heard about that. And he is the one who has basically like binged the show to try to prep. And I think a good portion of his attitude here is like, I'm just happy to be here. In fact, he's, he's like. It was so kind of like last minute and unexpected that he, he left his job before his, his leave was approved. And he's pretty convinced that he's going to be losing that job. I'm. I'm pretty sure I remember seeing something about that before he even mentioned it on the feeds. So it sounds like it might be a genuine problem for him. We'll see. Either way, Yash on the block. Final person on the block is Mallory, the woman with the glasses who in the preseason we were kind of like, is she like a nerdy type? She's a rocket scientist. Is she, like, like a Kelly type? Because that's clearly what they're going for. Or is she more like playing it up for the preseason? Like, what's going on? Did they style her? Then in the premiere, we saw that she was like, oh, I love Lyric. I wanna. I wanna hang out with Lyric. And they kind of edited it in a way that was, you know, kind of framed as, like, she's a little creepy. Then in Unlocked, we saw her have a conversation with Taylor, Taylor Hale, who did some. Some, like, right before they entered the house. Interviews with the contestants. And she mentioned that she had a dream about cooking meth and zombie attacks, which, you know, is. Is fine and chill. But again, they kind of edited it, you know, to sort of emphasize how maybe a little strange that was. Ultimately, that editing might have been pointed because she is now on the block, which of course implies that she has not fit in super well to the house at large. Now, despite that, she doesn't seem to actually not get along with anybody. She seems to actually be in many ways the most connected person who is currently on the block. But she has some connections to some people that are, I think, maybe a little too visible. And. And she is potentially the biggest target on the block. Mallory, according to, like, her own perspective, and we can mostly confirm this from what we saw, had the worst reaction to being nominated. She. She was crying throughout the night at various points and. And she seemed to, like, be struggling with it a lot more. She even mentioned that, like, man, like, Yash and Taylor, like, they're not struggling. What's happening? What's wrong with me? And so that seems to be a little bit of a problem. Mallory is connected to Lyric and Melody. There was a lot of talk about the three of them being a bit of a trio. Like, who. Who's in the trio? Who's talking about the trio? You know, why is this a thing? And this is potentially a reason that one of the. That one of them was up on the block. We will hear from D later that that Melody is a likely replacement nomination for her. So that does imply, again, that this trio is in the spotlight at the moment. So keep that in mind. But. But now, you know, the three nominees. Mallory has been mentioned by Dee as the target. I don't know how honest she was when she said that. And not everyone is on the same page as. As that not everyone is thinking that they want Melody gone, including people who I would assume are Dee's allies. So don't take any of it as gospel right now by any means. And also, for what it's worth, Yash being quote unquote, safe on the block because everyone likes him and he's not a target We've seen multiple times now with the blockbuster in effect, that if a player like Yash gets nominated as a quote unquote pawn and then ends up staying on the block all the way until eviction night, there's a lot of people that might think maybe we should take that shot. So we'll see. We'll see. It certainly happened to Zay last summer. So just don't. Don't play chess, Yash. All right, so let's get more into some of the events that went on. So I'll give you some of the. Where some of this came from, this analysis came from, and then we can. We can then kind of go maybe player by player a little bit. I'll give you an update on where people stand and then we'll take some questions at the end to do our best there.

Mallory and Jason talked in the storage room. That was one of the first big conversations we saw on the feeds and we saw that Mallory was nominated. She was talking about how she felt like Barrett would play for her in the veto. And this is going to be a little bit of a funny running theme throughout the night is that multiple people think Barrett is a good choice to play in the veto for them, which is quite interesting. Jason warned her about the fact that people were talking about the trio of girls, meaning Mallory, Melody, and Lyric. She was wondering who was. Who was saying that, who was talking about me. And he mentions Haley as one of those people. This is going to be another running theme. Both Jason talking to nominees and there being some tension with Haley. Mallory says she thinks Kamu and D are working together. This is another thing that we're going to be talking about. She doesn't understand why she went up on the block instead of Kamu and this is because D. You might have noticed, if you have a keen sense of memory of groupings, that D actually ended up nominating one person from each of the three groups that competed in the hoh, that competed to bring these players into the game. Those groups of four people, meaning in each group, one person was safe, three people were vulnerable. And, And Mallory is sitting there like, you nominated me over Kamu in my group, who was. Who was available to be nominated. You must be working with him. And she'd. She's seen him up talking to D in the HOH room. Kamu and Haley have been seen together quite a lot. And, and there's a lot of talk in general about Kamu and Haley. Haley even more so as kind of like these, these figures that are like, up there with the. That they. They kind of blame for things. This happens a lot on Big Brother. Uh, the HOH themselves often is able to. To blow blame right off of them because they're in power and you don't want to be too at odds with the HOH themselves. So instead you kind of get mad at the people surrounding the hoh. You kind of blame them for it, especially if the HOH is good at deflecting some of that blame, which it seems D is to some degree. Mallory is certainly not pleased with D, but she's really the only person actively voicing any thoughts against D herself. Instead, most of the people who are upset with DE's nominations or. Or don't, you know, seem to be in D's crew. They're focusing a lot of their ire on Haley, maybe a little bit on Kamu. And I think that's a lot. A lot of that is because Haley is a bit of a talker so far and is spending a lot of time up in the H. Spending a lot of time talking to people, telling stories. Kamu the same. So again, I apologize. It's the first. First. First update, first night of feed, so the names are coming fast and heavy. We're going to do our best. So I. Mallory calls D a baby for nominating her over. What are you doing? How did you win Survivor if. If I'm your move and not somebody like Common. And so D is kind of like, you know, a target of hers and Jason doesn't seem to be in line with that, and we're gonna confirmation of that later. But what Jason does tell Mallory is that Devin's is his target. We saw this, I believe in the episode of the premiere episode that as soon as Devin's walked in, Jason was like, don't trust that guy. It appears that has not changed. This is not a Jimmy situation so far where Jason has been like, ah, actually I like the guy. I want to work with the guy. Jason is actively still against Devin's and Jason is an interesting character here. He obviously comes in as a veteran reality player. He's been on two seasons of a reality show, however, was not included in the reality TV icons, which genuinely does feel a bit insulting, but as far as I'm aware of, kept it under wraps completely. Nobody seems to know that Jason was. Has ever been on a competition reality show. And in addition to that, he seems to have positioned himself as kind of an anti veteran player, which is concerning for Jason. I think we saw Jason talking a lot with, with the people on the block. He talked to Mallory, he talked to Taylor, he talked to Yash. He seems to really be. He seems to be very popular with a lot of the people on the outs right now. And unfortunately for him, that hasn't gone unnoticed. He is popular with the veterans themselves to some degree, but they are, they seem to see that he is not with them and they're disappointed by that and, and a little bit concerned by that. So something to, to. To. To watch out for here. All right, I'm gonna. Now, I think. I think what we need to do is, is just give you a primer on each player before I continue sort of the story of the night too much, because I want to make sure that I've given you like a good enough primer that, that you're able to, to sort of see what's happening when it does. But. So you might be wondering about Angela. What's going on with Angela. There's some interesting stuff going on. Now. The overall structure of the house is still, I would say, an unknown. There's a, there's a vibe, which is that there's kind of like Dee's squad, which maybe consists of like Dee and Haley and Camus. Like, that's what a lot of people are seeing. But in addition to that, some people are adding in people like Devin's and Angela into that group. And that appears to also be true to some degree. Then you can also maybe throw in like Drew, maybe Barrett, and you can. You start to round out that group of people as a, a large sort of like, conglomerate. But the, the actual inner workings of that group remain unclear. And that's because, sorry, Devin's of course, is Rick here on the graphic. We'll change that in the future. So, so that that loose grouping of people seem to be working together. But, but I'm gonna tell you this, not on the same page much at the moment. Now this could be that there's a secret group within a larger, looser group and that secret group would likely be something like D, Devin's, Angela, maybe including Barrett, maybe including Drew, who knows? Exactly. I would be a little more surprised if Haley and Kamu were in on the inner circle of this thing, if there was an inner circle. But at this point, who knows? It's. It's unclear and you, you'll sort of see why as we go. So Angela is, is in a group, in a group of people, one way or another, in a group of people, definitely working with Barrett, definitely working with Devin's, definitely working with D. And I would say so far doing pretty well. Nobody's talking about Angela as a threat, as a target, as a problem. Um, she's integrated well into the house. In fact, this is basically if, if you can remember this far back, this is week one Angela pre low budget movie like Angela as the HOH week one of Big Brother 26 when people were approaching her for alliances and they really liked her and things were going well. Like there was a brief period of time there where we were watching her and being like, yeah, this is Angela's doing, doing well here. This is basically what's happening here. She's doing well and she's. She seems to be relatively popular in the house. So Angela, I think so far so good. Ashley also seems pretty well liked. There wasn't a lot of her on the feeds last night in terms of strategic content, but she was chatting with people quite a bit. She seems like somebody that, that is, you know, making the rounds socially. She has a decent amount of connections. Again, not super brought up as a problem. She was in a situation where Angela couldn't remember her name when talking to D, which was funny. But, but for the most part, Ashley, I think is like kind of like a to be determined kind of player right now. Don't really exactly know where she fits into the grand scheme of things. Barrett is a very interesting person right now. Barrett is clearly with the vets. He's working with Angela. He's very close to Angela. He says he's closest. In fact, he had camera talk later. We'll actually, we can just talk about the camera talk now because it's very useful to just mentioned when talking about Bear. It's not really relevant to anything else, but he says he's closest to Angela, Devins and Drew and he, he likes Jason too. But his conversations feel surface level, talks about a lot of other people he likes, like Mallory and Lala and, and. And. And all kinds of other things. He actually thinks that for him, he would prefer right now to vote out Taylor, maybe Yash if. If Yash turns out to be a good competitor. He actually doesn't really want to vote out Mallory, which again, seems. Seems to potentially be at odds with Dee's preferred targeting, but still hard to say. Notably though, he did not mention D as somebody that he was particularly close to in this camera talk, which could track with how much separation there appears to be with. Within this, like, larger loose grouping of people. Nobody is connecting Barrett to D either, which further sort of gives evidence to the fact that they just might not be that close. In fact, as I mentioned earlier in the update, there was talk that Barrett might be the nomination and. And D actually told Kamu that Barrett was not happy with the nominations, which could track if he is close to Mallory or likes Mallory in some capacity. So again, hard to exactly judge where that relationship falls. But. But Barrett is well liked in the house. I mentioned earlier that a lot of people are looking at him as the potential veto choice. That's true. Both Mallory and Yash are looking at potentially picking Barrett for the veto, despite the fact that Barrett, we know, is in pretty tight with, at the very least, some of these closest allies. So Barrett seems to potentially be like one of the more undercover players within this grouping of people at the moment. Good stuff from Barrett so far in terms of not standing out as an ally of D at the very least. And nobody seeming to have a solid read on where he is, but not being sketched out by that because they think that they're actually kind of close to him. That seems to be the case so far, but we'll see as we go. Chuck. Chuck is in an interesting kind of position here. Again, not a ton of content from Chuck through. Through the night, but he, he seems like, loosely associated with the Haley Kamu grouping, but not super connected to. To like D and, and the rest of the vets. He's. He's in an interesting spot there. He has this, like, this potential sort of like alliance that he has made with Haley that, that like they've got something going on, which is interesting because a lot of people are associating him with. Or, sorry, her with Kamu more so. But he's definitely like, you know, playing. I just don't know exactly how. How much yet. And he is one of the people that has been safe this week as well. So it's hard to exactly gauge where he stands in terms of, like, the. The. The house dynamics and the targeting situation. So not much more to say about Chuck at the moment. D, of course, the hoh. Um, so far, she appears to be doing really well. I think this is because she has made some nominations that haven't appeared to really upset much of anyone except for Mallory, who is her target, presumably. In fact, Mallory's trio, Melody and Lyric, both are kind of like, I want to distance myself from Mallory, not mad at D, just, I want to distance myself from Mallory, which, of course, is very, very interesting and good for D. So she's done her job there. Yash is not upset, Taylor's not upset. In fact, both of them talked about still wanting to work with D despite being nominated. So that's all good stuff. In fact, there's going to be a conversation between Jason and Taylor where they talk about how they don't think Dee really understands the game, and that's why she nominated people like Taylor. You know, she's just doing, you know, dumb things like nominating one person from every group. That's not how the game works. What are you doing? D. Now, we know from Dee that that seems like just an excuse that she used that it wasn't an actual criteria. It just kind of happened to line up that way, and it was a good reason to give out. But. But Jason and Taylor were really talking about how, like, they're gonna have to coach D up a bit in this game because they do want to work with her and they think that she's just kind of making some mistakes. Now, the veracity of this is, of course, unclear at this point. When De talks to Kamu later, she definitely does appear to have a little bit of naivety about how the game exactly works. We know she's a Survivor winner. She's played twice. Survivor is a different game than Big Brother, so she might genuinely be unaware of some of the rules. And. But I would assume that in reality, she's probably a bit more savvy than she's letting on, but, you know, theoretically, that is still yet to be determined. But. But again, I would say so far things are going pretty well on the surface. Now, the true test will be, has D actually solidified any kind of structure, any kind of, like, solid thing moving forward? I know I talk about this a lot in the early days of Big Brother. It's because it's really important, and I do not know how much Dee has studied. I don't know how much she knows about the show and I don't know how much she knows how important it is to to lock things down. She does have people around her. She has done a good job of keeping a target off of her back. But there's a lot to be determined still. Drew. There were rumors, there were rumblings that Drew was a potential nomination for D until he went up to the HOH room and started hanging out with her. And then all of a sudden the story changed. I don't know how true this is. It's possible that's a smoke screen that it was never going to be Drew. It's possible that it's true that it might have been Drew and that like a good super fan, he went up to the HOH room and made sure he hung out with D so that he wouldn't be nominated, unlike some of the other people that were nominated. Yash, who was not a super fan and thought, oh, I was told I'm good, I'm in her group, I feel good with her, I don't need to talk with her much. So, you know, uh, we'll see. But either way, Drew not nominated and theoretically could still be nominated possibly. I think Camus alluded to that when he was talking to D. But D didn't seem to bite on Camus suggestion again. She mentioned Melody instead. So Drew probably off the hook this week, but I wouldn't completely rule it out, but he is really, really close to Devin's. He seems to be close to Barrett and and theoretically should also be close to Angela to some degree because of that grouping and therefore I would assume should be pretty safe in that regard. Either way, he's working pretty well with them, seems to be in a good spot. And this is an interesting one actually considering who the renom options are. Seems to have made some kind of final two with Melody, which I really like. I really like this. I'm going to talk about Melody later, but Drew is moving pretty well, I think and the fact that he's open to talking to a player like Matt Melody, who is in a different kind of area of the house from him right now and make a kind of secret connection, I think is very solid. And Melody herself is a gamer, like seemingly pretty hardcore gamer. So it is a very good connection to have assuming she doesn't end up on the block this week. So keep that in mind. I do think that Drew, I got the vibe that Kamu was a little annoyed with him because he was know, joking about how Drew, everywhere he goes, there's Drew and then he was like, I was just joking, though. I was just joking, though. So, you know, and then again, you know, Kamu was kind of bringing up like you could nominate Drew still, but I don't know. I don't know. Either way, though, I think Drew is doing, again, pretty. Pretty decently happy to see where things are falling there for him so far. Haley, as I mentioned, Haley's a big name, big name on people's. In people's mouths. There are a lot of people talking about Haley, and that's because she's spending a lot of time in the HOH room. She went up and talked with Kamu and D and then stayed up there with Kamu in the HOH room for a long time, which is just, again, just a rookie mistake. We're seeing a lot of rookie mistakes, which makes sense because there's a lot of rookies. No need to be using the HOH room to have a conversation, especially since they weren't really talking about a lot of important things. It just. It just helps throw shade and blame on you to people who don't like the nominations or just in general. Again, people are less likely to blame the HOH themselves, more likely to blame the people they might deem responsible for the nominations, even more so influencing the nominations, stuff like that. And Haley seems to be taking a decent amount of that blame. Now. There's a lot of potential drama happening and not all of it makes complete sense to me, but I'm going to do my best to help guide you through it. Lyric and Rome are our first showmance of the season. I'll talk a little bit more about that. But according to Rome, Haley is into him. Haley was flirting with him. According to Haley, she did flirt with him. She did tell him that he's really hot and that she's upset that Lyric got to him first. But. So there's a little bit. There's a little bit of stuff happening there and a little bit of a schism, perhaps, that happened with that. Like, Haley and Rome might have gotten along initially, but there's. They're currently kind of like separating, perhaps because of the Lyric situation in. In some ways. And Kamu and Haley were basically comparing notes about their conversation with Rome, essentially feeling like they don't think they can trust Rome. We'll get into more of that in a little bit. But. But Haley and Chuck and Kamu, I think, are probably people that are going to be pretty tight in general, and they do seem to be associated with D. Now, this, I think, makes a lot of Sense as a good side alliance for D to soak up all the attention while the real vets and super fans work on the other side. But we'll see. Jason, I already talked about Kamu again, right. With Haley in a similar spot. Ka Mu also a big talker, telling a lot of stories, holding court, talking to the trio of girls like he knows a bit more than he should, that kind of thing. A little bit of that. Like not quite again, like a Jimmy level of like holding court in the first week of last season, but definitely gave some vibes of like I'm, I'm a little bit in charge right now. I have some sway and. And so he is getting, he is taking a little bit of heat for that. That said, he does seem relatively popular in the house so far and. And does have some charisma to him that. That is working for him I think at the moment. Again, we'll see how long that lasts. But. But that is where Kamu seems to stand. Again, him and Haley are talking about Rome. There seems to be a bit of a, some, some tension between Kamu, Haley and Rome where Rome has talked about working with them but also didn't exactly tell them similar stories. And, and basically what they talked about with D is, is that they feel and this is the major divide. I've already talked about the D side of things, the D Vet, super fan, Haley, Kamu Chuck side of things. On the other side of things, it seems to center around potentially Rome or potentially Jason. And that's what they talked about. They said that Jason is pro Rome and that Lala is with Jason and Rome and that Lyric obviously is with Rome and that essentially those trio, that trio of, of women, Mallory, Melody, lyric, they are on the Rome side of things. They. They fear that Yash could be on that side of things and so they're kind of like throwing a lot of these people like Rome is one of those people that they're just like looking at. And Kamu mentioned many times that he warned Rome he needs to chill. But you know, it's an unclear again situation. But you know, we've. We've got some things. So Latrice AKA Lala, as I mentioned, she seems to be close to Taylor. She is very well liked in the house. Not surprising. However, that very well liked status is. It doesn't mean that she's included in the like, the groupings. Right. In that conversation with Kamu, D and Haley, they talked about Lala and how they like her a lot. But unfortunately she seems to be siding with the Rome side of things. And so that would be, you know, that's. That's a. It's a rough spot. They don't. They don't like that. It's unfortunate. So, you know, we'll see about that. Not a whole lot of strategy otherwise from Lala. I don't think she's locked into a side, honestly, at this point necessarily. I think she's still kind of keeping her options open, which would be very good for her to do if that is what she's doing, I think, because she does seem to have the social capital to go anywhere she wants. But. But, you know, we'll see. I think we have to continue to wait and see on Lala. Lyric is tight with Rome. We have our. As I said, we have our first showmance of the season and they are showmancing they. From like the very first conversation they had were. They were flirting. They were like, they. There. There's some. There's a little bit of kissing going on. They're like sleeping in the same bed together for. For a bit of the night going on. So, you know, there's a lot happening there. I'm seeing a lot of limes. Lime as their. Their name. As their. Their. I guess I don't know if you'd call it a ship name, their showman's name. It. Yeah, it feels pretty fully fledged. I mean, literally talking about, like, how would this work on the outside kind of. Kind of thing. And. And unfortunately, it comes with a lot of what might be described as baby talk from. From Lyric in particular. And basically, you know, there was one time in particular that she was talking to Jason and she was talking like, you know, a normal person. And then as soon as Rome walked in, she swapped to baby talk immediately. And you know, you do you. That's. That's fine. Fine with me. I'm just not gonna enjoy listening to it. So. So they're. They're tight. Right. I honestly didn't really get much gaming from them, primarily because they spent a lot of time hanging out with each other. And so I don't actually know where Rome stands in the game. I think perhaps the fact that he's distracted with the showmance is part of why he has fallen out with Haley and Kamu. So I don't know. I don't quite know yet. Mallory, as I said, is on the block. I already talked a bit about her. Melody. Melody is interesting to me. Melody is interesting. Melody, as I said, a potential renom and potential target of Deez. If something happens with this veto, but she is. She is a gamer with a capital G. Melody is has a conversation with. With Mallory later in the night where she talks about, you know, how. Or sorry, not with Mallory. Melly talks with. With Lear, Ashley with Ashley about forming an alliance. They need to pull in some comp beasts. They need to start building a group that she knows that there's like, remember Melody is the person that talked about Derek in the preseason and. And is. Has said that she's been a, A, you know, a. A fan of the show for a long time. She very much seems to have that mentality of like, hey, there's a big alliance probably, and I'm not in it and I could be in danger. My friends could be in danger. This is a problem. I would like to build up some allies. And I think that's where the Drew thing is coming from. She seems to be kind of like trying to get some stuff going. We'll see if any of it's going to work. Of course, she is theoretically in a lot of danger here. But. But she's like, we need to pull in some guys because we need some comp beasts and we like, maybe Yash could work if he ends up staying. And she says, you know, Kamu, Haley, Devins, Angela, they are in a solidified alliance that is dangerous. And so, you know, a lot of that stuff coming from Melody. She ends up later in a conversation with Drew again where they have this potential final two kind of situation happening. So interesting player, Melody. The other thing happening with Melody is that she immediately started distancing herself from Mallory the second she got nominated. And she spent a lot, a large portion of the day talking about how. I mean, I don't. I just. We can't include her in things like how do we do this without including Mallory? Because I think she's assuming that Mallory's basically going. And. And in. In large part seems to be like. Like she brought this on herself. Like, if she wants to stick around, she's got to lock in. I can't do it for her. And. And I don't want to be associated with. I don't want to go down with that ship. So it's an interesting tactic and one that has not gone unnoticed. Drew and Devins actually talked about her. In fact, it's interesting now knowing that she has a relationship with Drew. Most of this came from Devin, that Devin was like, yeah, I saw Melody immediately switch up on Mallory right after the nominations. Like, that's sketchy. That's dangerous. And Drew agreed. But we know that Drew actually maybe has a bit of a relationship with Melody, so maybe a bit too publicly has. Has been talking about needing to distance herself. You know, there's maybe some amount of distancing that that can take place. But focusing on it so much, talking about it so much and doing it so publicly makes you look disloyal. And that's a bit of a problem for Melody on top of the fact that she might be nominated. So she's in a bit of a tough spot there. Rick Devins seems to be doing pretty well. Jason is after him, which is not good. But aside from that seems decently positioned. This conversation he had with Drew was one where they talked about hiding their relationship, which they think they've been doing pretty successfully. They had a quick check in and then quickly stopped talking strategy when somebody else came back into the back came out into the backyard. Drew mentioned in that conversation that they have Angela and D as other numbers as other people that are like kind of with them potentially. So. So that's again lining up with what we're putting together as a potential group. And so interesting stuff there from Devin's. He obviously he walked into a room with Angela and Barrett and they like high fived. They were like let's go. Definitely again seems like, you know, behind the closed, behind closed door, Selly kind of situation. So Devin seems pretty well integrated there and. And the fact that D is more associated with Haley and Kamu and them, that's. That's good stuff in general looking pretty good for Devin's. We would assume that would have been the case for Devin's, D and and Angela anyway, considering that one of them was going to be HOH and that they were all likely going to be working with each other. I did not see much interaction between Devins and D. But I assumed that they are working together and that they were just keeping their distance like everyone else. I certainly did not like the advice that Devins and D got about not wanting, not wanting to win the first hoh. Luckily they were forced to for their own good. However, it seems like probably they understand or at least Evan seems to understand the value of secret alliances. So we'll see. We'll see how that goes. Rome, I talked about him a bit already with Lyric, but Rome's an interesting one. Rome is. Rome is like 24 hour aura, farming non stop like you. You will not catch Rome not being like. Yeah, interesting. Yeah, yeah. Telling weird stories, doing his thing, flirting with lyrics, talking about like yeah, Haley's. Haley's really into me. She's been flirting with me a lot. You're following me around everywhere I go. Lyric.

What do you mean? No, I'm not. Yeah, you've been everywhere with me. And then Haley was trying to be with me, and I was like, I need some space. She's like, oh, do you need space for me? He's like, no, of course not. And. And he's like, yeah, but. But Haley is flirting with me. And she's like, oh, but. But, I mean, go for it then. I mean, you know, just. I guess you. You can just do whatever you want with Haley. You're so cute. What's wrong with you? I'm telling you. I'm telling you because there's no secrets between us. And he's. He's an interesting guy. He's an interesting guy. So again, he seems to have caught the ire of the Kamu Haley situation. He's gonna spend, again, a good portion of the night in bed with Lyric. Flirting, canoodling, all kinds of stuff. It does. It seems like he might have had a decent position strategically, but again, due to the showmance, it started to potentially fall apart. He is safe this week, remember? So it seems like he's being propped up as a future target. I'm not sure if that's gonna last. You know, it's still very early. He might start do, like, kicking into game mode a bit more today, but who knows right now, you know, Rome is, I would say, in a dangerous position. He does not appear to be connected with any of the people in power. And even though he theoretically has a group of people that seem to like him and want to work with him, he's not really doing much to solidify any of that, which, you know, theoretically could be a good thing if it makes him less of a threat, but probably not. Taylor, we've talked about. Yash, We've talked about. So that's. That's the group. We got through, everyone. I've already told you a lot of the events of the day, but I'll go through some of this and make sure that we've caught all of the details I want to get to, and then I'll take some questions. So Kamu, Haley, and Chuck already said they're probably working together. Yash and Lyric had a conversation. Yash on the block. Yash says he really likes Jason. Makes sense. Jason's hanging out with a lot of the nominees. He thinks that Jason's looking out for him. Rome ends up joining the conversation. And this is. This is, again, I'm going to say, like, this is indicative of how Rome seems to be playing the game right now. Rome joins the conversation between Yash and Lyric. Yash tells Rome, hey, you're my guy. You're the person I trust the most. You I know would use the veto on me for sure. And Rome says, nah, if I get picked, to be honest, I would throw. Just to be honest, I can't be the guy winning everything. So I would throw the veto. And Yash is like, oh, okay, I guess I can pick Lyric then. And Rome then leaves, and it's just like, oh, Rome. Another classic rookie pitfall here. You're not gonna not be the guy always winning things if you tell people you're throwing things. It doesn't help your perception of not being good at competitions if you tell basically anybody that will listen. Because not only did he tell Yash to his face, he then goes and tells that story to multiple people around the house that he's told Yash that he's going to throw the video if he picks him. So funny guy. Funny guy. Yash says he feels like he has the house vote. Lyric agrees with him. And he has a funny moment, Yash, where he says, I was feeling really good about Lee before she nominated me. And I feel like that by itself explains exactly Yash's game at the moment. Because, of course, if you. If you didn't catch it, he meant D meant D. He said Lee. Angela talks to Barrett and she mentions that Yash has been very classy about the fact that he was nominated, that Taylor took it pretty well. Mallory did not take it well. That's when Devin's joined High five. They're on. They're in cahoots. Melody and Lyric talked about how they can't have Melody be in their circle anymore or, sorry, Mallory be in their circle anymore. And, you know, this is when Mallory ends up. Actually, it's funny because the multiple times Melody and Lyric would be talking about not wanting to include Mallory and things, and then in the middle of that conversation, they'd be interrupted by Mallory walking in and talking to them. Taylor talks to. To d. Or sorry, talks to Jason about D. Wrote that wrong in my notes. Yeah, it was up pretty late. Taylor talks to Jason about D. She feels like she. She feels like she. She says, I feel like I handled the nomination pretty well. I was real with D. Was real with me. She told me she was putting me up ahead of time, and she told me that it was one from each team, which is stupid, but, you know, it it follows a logic, but, like, oh, she doesn't know how to play this game. This is that conversation. She seems pretty annoyed with Ashley. This is interesting that basically the big thing for Taylor is and sorry, it's still strange to. Especially the fact that Taylor hail is on unlocked. Every time I say Taylor, I still think I'm. I'm like, I'm like, reading things online. Like, Taylor doesn't like Ashley, and it's like, wait, Taylor, did she say that on. Oh, no, no. You mean in the house. In the house. Taylor. Right. All right. Taylor seems to be pretty annoyed with Ashley. She was saying Ashley didn't even try. So basically what happened was because. Because Taylor or sorry, because D told Taylor that it was one from each group that got nominated. Taylor's response was, wait a minute. What about Barrett and Ashley? They weren't in a group. Were they considered? And essentially the answer was like, no, Right? Like, they, Ashley and Barrett who weren't in a group because they lost that first Enzo competition, were not in one of those groups and therefore immune from De's logic. And that was annoying to Taylor. She was like, what? Why not Ashley? She. The only reason she wasn't in the group is because she didn't even try in the Enzo competition. And so she kept going back to that. Like, I hope that that those two Barrett and Ashley are options for her on the renom because that seems to be what she wants to have happen there. But she says otherwise. She does get along well with D. And this is when Jason mentions that the D promised him and the rest of their group, including Yash, that they were safe. And. And so it was a bit of a surprise the one D turned around and nominated Josh. However, again, they're still fine. Taylor says D is still fine with me because her logic did make sense, like, it was consistent. But she is wondering what happened to the Drew option. This is when she talks about how, you know, Drew seemed to be an option for nomination. And then Jason said, well, Drew went up and started hanging out with her. Jason and Taylor both agree that Drew don't. That D doesn't understand the game. They're gonna have to teach her. He says she's always in survivor mode. Her eyes are always shifting around, like she has to understand how to play big brother. And D did tell Taylor that Mallory was her target and that she will eventually make that clear to the house. So Taylor knows about this. In that conversation, seemingly he told her that Mallory was the target. Jason says that if he were to win the veto, he Would have to talk to D to see what she's down for. They do still both want to keep D around and potentially work with her and. And that, you know, Mallory is essentially the target because she's in the trio with Melody and Lyric. So an interesting conversation. Again, take it with a grain of salt. Both of these people appear to be somewhat on the outs, so their read on whether Drew was an option could be incorrect. But some interesting information there for sure. And again, potentially indicative of D doing a good job of damage control. The fact that both of them are people who, you know, Jason was kind of burned by D to some degree by the fact that she nominated Yash from within that group that he was in, broke that promise, according to him, at least. Taylor was just nominated, but they both still agree they want to work with her. It seems again that Jason is focused more on Devin's as his target. Roman, Lyric have their. Their thing. D, Kamu and Drew talk. This is where we get a bunch of information as well. This is when Kamu jokes that Drew keeps coming in during his talks. Drew eventually leaves and detox to Kamu. She says, I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to talk to you before the nominations. So she didn't talk to Kamu before the nominations. Probably made a change in the nominations that Kamu wasn't on top of, wasn't aware of, which is a sketchy indicator for me. Like, I actually don't know the truth. I don't know if Kamu is super, super tight with D and that Dee really wanted to talk to him prior to nominations, but this is, I think, generally a good indication that you're not the number one ally if they didn't make time to talk to you before Nams and a change was made. So to me, that is genuinely an indication that this might not be her closest person. But she's trying to make it out to be like, you know, oh, I just didn't have time. She ended it. She says she ended up talking to Barrett and he seemed really sad about the nominations. Kamu says it was a good decision and she can still put Drew up later. I think she was. I think he was talking about Drew. It was a great decision. Everyone understands. She says, I think ideally the Nam stay the same. He's talking about what happens with the veto. Would you be willing to make a bigger move? And she's like. He's like, well, what would happen if somebody won the video? And this is where, again, like, it seems like she's talking in A way that implies that like she's a little slow on the uptake, that she's a little naive about how the game works. It could be, it could be true. She might not have done a lot of studying. I would assume she would have. But this is, you can see where like the appearance that Jason and, and Taylor are, are, are reading right. Like they, you can see why they're reading into it in the way that they are. But she does kind of shoot down the idea of, of like doing a big Renam target move kind of situation. Ideally the veto stay, the veto doesn't get used. The nom stay the same. She says if the veto is used, Melody is the renam. That's where we get this information. Kamu says he still thinks Mallory is the best target. He thinks Yash will work with them, Taylor will work with them. D agrees. Haley joins them and she says that Lala came in hot earlier and hasn't talked to her since. I assume this is about the nominations, that Lala was potentially upset about the nominations. Somehow that translated to Haley maybe, I'm not entirely sure, but a little bit of tension there. That's when they start comparing notes about how their conversations with Rome. That's when we hear a lot about Rome. Haley mentions that Jason is a die hard Rome fan. They're disappointed about that because they like Jason, they don't want him to be working with Rome. So that gets into a long conversation of Haley talking about a lot of details of stuff that it's just really hard to follow. It's a lot of he's, it's a lot of she's, it's a lot of stuff that like happened before the feed started and it's really hard to follow. But the basics are that are what I talked about before that like the Rome side of things has some people that are not really with the Haley side of things and just talking a lot about that. Devin and Drew mentioned their secret alliance. Then that's when they talked about Melody switching up on mat. Mallory, Kamu and Haley talked more. Haley says that Lala, Latrice, Taylor, Jason and Yash are a thing, They're a, they're a group. She loves Taylor but she's team Jason and Lala and they're team Rome. And so that's how she's looking at that side of the house again. Another lengthy conversation about Rome and comparing notes on Rome and how Kamu tried to warn Rome. Take a step back, chill out, he's becoming a target. And then Rome didn't listen, all this is happening. Taylor, while taking the nomination, well, is still obviously quite upset. It's been a rough few days for Taylor. She ends up crying in the have not bed. She is have not. She is nominated. She doesn't seem to have a lot of connections in the house, and it's taking a toll on Taylor. So she is going to be pretty upset. Mallory continues to struggle throughout the night. She has a long talk with. Not a long top. She has a talk with Angela where Angela tries to comfort her. So, you know, interesting stuff. We hear a lot of people talking about Haley being up the. Up in the hoh room. As I said, we get this conversation between Ashley and Melody about building an alliance that I've already mentioned. Melody ends up talking to Mallory because Mallory comes into the room and interrupts that conversation. And Melody says that she's concerned about who will use. Sorry. Mallory says she can. Melody and Mallory. Mallory says she can. She's concerned about who will use the veto on her. And we know that Melody doesn't want. This was a pretty funny moment. We know that Melody wants nothing to do with Mallory at this point. She certainly doesn't want to use the veto on her. And Mallory is like, well, you know, I trust you and Lyric to use the veto on me. And it's written all over Melody's face, like. And then she goes. Mallory goes, but I was thinking of asking Barrett. And Melody lights up. She's like, oh, that's a great idea. Yeah, you should totally ask Barrett. You know, like, that's because he's going to be. He's a guy. He's going to be way more capable winning the competition anyway and, you know, know, like, like, then, and. And. And. And that'll, like, split up. Split us up in people's minds a little bit. Like, we should probably split up a little bit anyway just to, like, you know, that rumor of the trio. Like, we need to sort of, like, dispel that. Right? So, funny, funny moment. Funny moment. Melody really wants to distance herself in any way she can. Mallory tells Melody in this conversation, if I were to win hoh, I'm putting up D kamu and Haley, which tells you exactly where the sort of, like, outcasts of the house are looking. Right? D kamu, Haley. That's what they're seeing. And it's what Mallory says she wants to do if she's hoh now, is it a smart idea to tell anybody that you would put those three people up? No, I don't think so. I think that you don't need to be doing that right now. There's no benefit to it. And unfortunately, at the end of the day, Melody is a potential renom and Mallory might be on like let's say Yash wins the veto. Mal Melody gets put up on the block. Now Melody has concrete information to dump on Mallory. Hey, Mallory told me that if she won hoh D, kamu and Haley would be her three nominees and those right now seem to be relatively influential people in the house. So I don't hate the nominations, but you don't need to tell anybody even if they seem to be your ally right now. And at the moment, Malady is not exactly a good ally of hers. So watch out for that. D has a conversation with Angela, or should I say Angela has a conversation with D and we miss a good portion of it, which is quite frustrating. But Angela is dumping a bunch of information on D, talking about how I believe Yash was making, was, was telling people about the promise that was made to him about how the group was going to be safe. But, but that now he's on the block. She might have been talking about Jason as well. We know Jason was doing that. But I, but I, but I believe she was talking to Yash and so just kind of giving D a heads up. Like, just so you know, this is being talked about but don't let anybody know that came from me, of course, that you know about it. And this, this gave vibes of like, this is Angela's close ally. Like Angela was, was fully like, I'm giving you everything I've got. And, and I mentioned this on stream because I was streaming last night and I still am. I will continue to be all day if you want to hang out. But if this were anybody but Angela, I would say, oh, locked in. Angela's super loyal to D here. The way she's talking, the way she's, you know, divulging information. This is clearly like a really locked in alliance. But Angela is Angela, you know what I mean? Like, Angela's actually very good at pretending to be locked in with people. Like, Angela's absolutely the kind of person that like would have this conversation with D where she's dumping all this information and then walk, walk away and look at the cameras and be like, like I would trust her. So who knows? Exactly. But they do appear to be quite close and locked in, which does make sense contextually from all the other information that we've been hearing about that we've been seeing. They should be pretty close. They should be working Together pretty closely. So it's probably true. So. But. But what is interesting is that Angela mentioned that she talked to Mallory and she comforted Mallory and she said, don't feel bad about nominating Mallory because, hey, don't worry about it. She's gonna stick around anyway. She's gonna be here next week. Everybody loves her. And Deep didn't appear to correct that notion. Again, the conversation cut out because the feeds dropped out. But, like, it seems like Angela is not on the same page about Mallory being the target. And that's obviously interesting if they are really close and well and closely aligned, which means either Angela is just, like, not in step with what D wants, or perhaps D lied to Kamu about what she wants, or. And. And. And theoretically also then to Taylor. So who knows? Who knows at this point? There's some interesting dynamics there. Angela did talk about how they were trying to groom her. And by they, I believe she was referring to essentially, like, Chuck, Haley, and Kamu, which, again, bit of a group there, that they are trying to pull her into the group and. And groom her, as. As Angela said, says. And. And that she. When talking to Haley about being groomed into this group, Haley did not mention that she was already close to D, already working with D when. When Angela brought D up. And so Angela brings that up to D. So again, that implies that D has told Angela that she's working with Haley, but not Haley, that she's working with Angela. Again, interesting flow of information. We're going to figure out more of that later, I'm sure. Jason did talk to Lyric a bit. He says that he doesn't think Lyric will be a target for hanging out with Mallory. But be aware, Lyric says she trusts Jason so much, she's really locked in with him. So take that. Then. Then she transitioned into baby talk a bit. Rome talks to Yash again later in the night, saying that, hey, you know, they both talk about how much they trust Barrett. Kamu and Haley are sketching Yash out, and Rome goes back to Barrett. Like, I don't know. I just feel like Barrett's a better choice for you, for Vito, by the way, because, you know, quite honestly, if you picked me and I had to win and making me the guy that always wins everything, like, that's kind of like throwing me under the bus, so don't do that. And he's having this conversation in front of multiple people in the bedroom, by the way, and. And encourages Yash to pick Barrett for the veto. So multiple people encouraging people to pick Barrett in the Veto because they don't want to pick themselves. Again, quite, quite funny. We do learn a little bit more about Rachel's stay in the house as well. She mentioned that she made an all women's alliance and that she also made a final two. At least one of those final twos, if there were more, was with Jason. She pulled Jason aside, made a final two of them in a very funny way. Again, Chuck and Haley seem to be working together. Bear talks the cameras and Drew and Melody had a chat that's about what we've got. That's. I've, I've tried to divulge everything I know. Unfortunately, there's still a lot we don't know. It's. Again, I mentioned this at the start of the update. It was a very interesting time to start the feeds because there's kind of a, there's kind of a, a dead zone on the feeds that exists after the nomination fallout ends and before the feeds come back from the veto when we get the veto winner where, like, things have settled down from the nominations and we're just waiting for the veto to happen. And that's Friday night into Saturday morning. Friday is an interesting feed day because it's a new hoh. They have conversations about nominations, they make nominations, there's fallout from nominations, there's talks about votes, and then things settle down by the nighttime, usually. And then there's a slow morning Saturday. And then Saturday is an interesting day because feeds come back from the veto and there's a new veto winner, new power, and things are starting to lock in and people are starting to campaign and all kinds of, all kinds of things. We've, we've just talked about the dead zone Friday night into Saturday morning. And, and so, you know, not a lot of actual movement happening, but a lot of detective work happening. And I'm expecting, of course, that once we get a veto result, things will start to move a bit more. We'll start to hear more conversations from alliance members because they need to have conversations to talk about plans. So stay tuned, of course, for all of that, but let me know if you have any questions as we start to wrap up here in, in the first, first night of feeds. How long was Rachel in the house? I don't know exactly. Actually. I didn't quite clock them talking about an exact amount of time. Do I think the veto is the silver power of veto? I don't think so. I still don't think so. It's certainly possible. It certainly looked silver, but I would be, I would be pretty surprised if they made it. So I think. I think they love how often the veto's been used in the. In the latest seasons. With the blockbuster happening, I would be surprised if they wanted to limit its power in any significant way. After one day of feeds, who do I feel best about?

that's pretty tricky. I think, Honestly, I. I don't feel confident about any particular read right now, so, you know, do not take this in any way seriously, but I'd probably say something like. Maybe. Maybe, like. Honestly, I think the person I feel best about right now, the person I think I feel most confident will make a deep run right now is Angela. Because if things continue to go well, she's not a target. And if something does happen and she. Angela's. And she crazy eyes is, she's still probably not gonna be targeted for a while. I still. I think I still feel good about her making a deep run, you know, win. That's tougher. But I do. I do like. I do like what I see from Angelo so far, and she's the person I think I can maybe confirm the most has. Has locked in. I do like where Drew is, but I'm still a little unsure. I do like where Barrett is, but I'm still a little unsure. I like where Devin's is, but I don't like that Jason is targeting him. I like what de's been doing so far, but I don't know enough about where she. What she's actually doing actively to make it happen, so. Tough to say there as well, but, you know, we'll see. We'll see. Did Lyric and Rome actually make out? I. They. There were. There was some kissing, but I don't think they, like, fully, like, love islanded it, if that's what you're asking. But I can't say that I, you know, combed through it with a. With a keen eye. Who would make a good replacement mom, Genuinely. I do think Melody is a great replacement on for D. I think that she is. She's. She's. She's smart. She's a killer, and she's gonna be playing hard. She's gonna be trying to build resistances. She's trying to build people. So, yeah, it's a good renown. It's a good renown. Anyone try to bro alliance. Bro alliance. Not looking super strong. Bit of. Bit of tension between many of the bros, so not much. Not much bro y stuff happening, which I will say, I think I. I think that was what I predicted, that it wouldn't be too rowy. Of a season, at least at first. So we'll see, though. We'll see. The bros. Bros do often gravitate toward one another at some point, but. But we'll see. Just want the opinion on who I think is playing the best right now. Actively playing the best. Again, it's. It's tough, but. But I do like, again, really, you know, Drew, Barrett, Devin's, Angela. I like that. That core of people who are in a good place. And honestly, the only reason Devin's is being targeted is because of his reputation. So seemingly. But. But, you know, his reputation also helps him. His experience helps him. So you can't really separate that. What time did folks go and going to bed? It was actually an early night. It was pretty early night. There were a couple people that stayed up later, but. But they went to bed relatively early, and that's because they're anticipating an early veto competition. So it was actually. It's kind of nice. Kind of nice for me. Not that I was able to sleep much, but, you know, I was able to try to sleep. What powers do I think will be in the time capsule? Honestly, who knows, but probably some variation of the kinds of powers we've seen before. What conversations should we be looking out for today? There was an almost group hangout of, like, Drew, Barrett, D. Devins, and Angela was in there at one point as well, but Haley was there the whole time and they did not talk game. And I really wonder what would have happened if Haley had left that room and it was just like the four or five of them. I. I really would like to see any kind of group conversation. I'd love to see Devin's and D. I'd love to see, you know, an actual conversation with Drew, with De. With. With Barrett, with Angela, with Devin, with D. All of those people. Because I feel like there might be a solid structure there or at least some kind of structure there. But. But it's hard to know. And it would be interesting to find out who would be the most interesting house guest to get the time capsule advantage this week. Who knows? Who knows? Honestly, I would advise to. To. If you. If you really, like, care about being strategic because you're like, I really want to, like, just do it. Do it right. I would continue to not vote yet. Wait until you find out what happens with the veto and then maybe start to go from there. Maybe start voting tonight or. Or tomorrow if you really want to do something like that. Obviously, you could always try to. Actually, it's not even worth. Never mind. It's not I would wait even further than that because I'm remembering now that the first power is introduced next week, not this week. So nothing you do can influence this week. So I would really not even start voting until later in the week at the very least because you could start voting now for something that you think is good and then by the time it comes around, you've completely screwed over the situation you're trying to create because circumstances have changed and you can only get a power once as well. So, you know, honestly, like, I would kind of hold off on giving your favorite player, if you even have one yet, a power because you don't know how it works yet, you don't know what the time limit is. And you might want to just see what the kinds of powers are like and what the downsides are before committing to a player. But at the end of the day, the casual is going to carry the vote anyway, so it doesn't really matter. How often will I be live on Patreon this season? I'm hoping to do some. Some regular live stream, live streams of live feeds, hanging out, stuff like that, and of course, all of the regular podcasting and such. So stay tuned, stay tuned. There was talk that he was asking to play in the veto that, like, he's excited to play in the veto. So I would assume that he's relatively knowledgeable about that fact. How often the stock watches? Once per week we'll do the stock watch. I believe Rick is orange in the graphic because he was on Survivor. Yes, I think D is also orange, but she's got a little more covered up. Graphic is still sort of a work in progress. Let's see any final questions before we wrap this extra long first update. Trying to figure out as much as we can. Will Rome's aura farmer farming make him too powerful? Perhaps. Perhaps. And maybe he will just win everything. It would be interesting, of course, if, if, if, if Rome were to like win an HOH next week, perhaps I say interesting. It would be a lot of him and Lyric up in the HOH room, which would be annoying. But, but in terms of like him becoming perhaps more of a target, it would, it would create some interesting dynamics. Why is Angela the greatest of all time? Because she can spot crazy eyes from a distance of at least 100 meters. Thoughts on Kamu's social game so far? He seems to have a good one in general, but In a way that like he's not, he's not like he doesn't seem self aware of. It's similar to Rome where it's like they're, they both have charisma but they're not always aware of like the larger group dynamics of how it plays off in a strategic game. If that, if that makes sense. That makes sense. So, yeah, who is Ashley closest to? She seems to be in with, with Melody and, and, and, and Lyric in them but, but not included in that in the trio stuff. So it's, it's again, it's hard to know exactly where, where Ashley falls, but that's about it. That's what I've got. That's the first update as we slide into the season. Today they will play the veto, very, very important veto for any of these three nominees if they're looking to salvage their games. Really, this veto is incredibly important. Famously. I've talked about it a lot. Being a week one nominee is really, really bad for your long term game. It's obviously really bad for your short term game as well. But the two of the winners who have managed to go on to win the game after being week one nominees, Ashley and Steve both won the veto in that first week which incredibly helped their game in the short term and the long term as people were less willing to put them up on the block in subsequent weeks because the very first time they went on the block it burned the hoh. They immediately won a veto. Even Taylor, who is the other person who has won from a week one situation, never faced a vote and was in a position where like, theoretically she would have been able to save herself and that did matter a little bit, although circumstances are of course very different. So win that veto is the biggest, biggest, biggest thing for these nominees. So this veto competition is going to be very important and it's also going to be important, of course for somebody like Mallory or, sorry, Melody, who might have some potential in this game but, you know, is in a bit of danger and, and, and for D herself who obviously would prefer to not have to make any other nominations and potentially put more blood on her hands and potentially expose more of her allegiances that, that, like why, hey, why is it still not true? Why is it not Barrett? Why is it not whoever? Why is it not commu. So we'll see.
