single season, you know he is the reason you know what's happening.
Chantel Aiden
Rob said that he could do it tomorrow.
Darren Armstrong
He will do it again. Hello everyone and good morning. Welcome to our live feed update for July 12th. I'm your host Darren Armstrong and I'm here today to update you on everything that happened yesterday. Big Brother 28 live feeds it was day five in the house and we had a veto competition and we had a very informative day. Really helping round out what we know about the cast, the season and what's going on. And with me to talk about it all.
Chantel Aiden
Chantel Aiden Chantel I'm doing really well. I'm really tired because these house Guests are loving, talking, gaming, scheming, changing plans, all in the beginning. And then also what on top of it all is that I get confused who is who. I'm like, Ashley. I'm thinking about Ashley of last season. I hear Rome. I'm thinking Rome from Survivor, especially when they're talking with the people from Survivor. And I'm just like, who are these people? Where are they? But eventually they'll be in my brain and I'll know this cast really well. But right now it's a little confusing. Confusing and convoluted.
Darren Armstrong
Yeah. Taylor and Ashley is. Is not helping.
Chantel Aiden
And then the Mallory and the Melody of it all, I'm like, okay, who's Valerie? Who's Melody? I'm like,
Darren Armstrong
we'll get there. We'll get there. So of course, as we know from yesterday, D is the hoh she nominated Mallory, Taylor and Yash with Mallory as the presumed target. Presumed because that's what Dee was telling people, though. You know, this early on in the feeds, you never really know what's the truth. And Dee has also told people that Melody would be the likely Renam in the event of veto use. So that's kind of thing where things stood. And we also have like, we had a rough idea of where like a lion and like groupings stood. So we're gonna get into that. We're gonna get into sort of like our better understanding of where things actually lie. Spoilers. Not that different from what we thought, if anything, more like confirmation of what we thought in kind of like the most solidified way that we were imagining. And we're gonna talk about the veto competition. We have a results and. And some plans for the veto ceremony. So let's get into it, Chantal.
Chantel Aiden
Let's get into it. One thing that, like, I'm just like loving about this season is, okay, I was worried that I wasn't going to enjoy having people from, you know, Angela coming back and. And people from Survivor. Like, I usually want a fresh season and get to know brand new people, but I'm surprisingly liking it a lot more than I was anticipating. So it's been actually pretty fun. And especially having D, who's not particularly familiar with the structure and how to play big brother, be the first head of household because she's not necessarily dominating in the way that like, I was worried that these, these returning type players are doing. So, yeah, I'm surprisingly happy with the way that the season's starting off.
Darren Armstrong
Well, she is at the very least acting as right.
Chantel Aiden
Exactly. We don't know yet we haven't seen the title, but, like, it's working. It's working for me at least. And so must be working for the house guest.
Darren Armstrong
Yes. And that's, I mean, that's relevant to the early morning of the day. We do get a veto draw that happens early on. And the, the, the thing about the veto draw that of course we were talking about yesterday is that Mallory is looking for somebody to pick if she is going to pick somebody. And she would like to pick people like Melody or Lyric because those are her friends. But those three have been singled out as a, a trio. And, and Melody in particular has been very like, oh, I need to distance myself from Mallory. She's really.
Chantel Aiden
She.
Darren Armstrong
Oh, man, she's. She, she's loose cannon. She's not popular and has been like telling anybody that will listen about that. Mallory hasn't quite gotten that memo and continues to talk to Melody about playing in the veto for her. And every time she does, Melody looks like she is in physical pain and tries to get Mallory to. Tries to pawn this off onto. Onto Barrett because Barrett has volunteered to play in the veto. He really wants to play. Everyone's like, pick Barrett. You like Barrett. You have a good relationship with Barrett. And the same thing is happening with Yash and Rome. Yash has asked Rome to play in the veto for him, but Rome was like, nah, bro, if I'm in that throwing it, I can't be winning everything. And so he's basically told yash, you should pick Barrett to play in the veto. And so going into the veto draw, we had that sort of interesting scenario and, and turns out Chantal, because it ended up being Barrett and Melody who were picked.
Chantel Aiden
Poor Melody. She's gonna be in a bit of a pickle here, but actually I'm more siding with Mallory. I feel bad for her. Like she, she likes the game in the show and she's finally on it and she's getting nominated and she has a little bit of a freak out breakdown. Who knows how anybody's gonna react to these situations. She just feels as though she's like going and she's talking to her friend and her friend is just like, yeah, we're not real friends anymore. Like, and it's basically we watch throughout the day the ending of this friendship from Melody side and Mallory just has no clue. She still thinks that they're good even though she's giving her all the reasons not to believe that they're good anymore. So my feelings about it, I was like hoping that, you know, Melody became The renown just because, like, I feel like there's the disloyalty. Really. It really bothered me and it also bothered Devin's and D a little bit as well. I'm like, I want to be a little bit more loyal to her friend.
Darren Armstrong
It has been a topic of conversation that Mallory, or sorry, Melody, feels a bit disloyal, feels a bit like, like she's just ditching, ditching her friend. So, so that's what happens with the veto draw. In the meantime, as I talked about, D continues her sort of, I mean, at this point, I think we can outright say it. Her act of not really knowing the game or knowing what she's doing. And, and we know it's an act because of how she's going to be talking and acting later in the day, but she talks with Taylor in the morning. Taylor, of course, one of her nominees and really just plays up that, like, I'm just, you know, I'm still learning and this is working on pretty much everybody that she's using it on. Taylor is saying, it's okay. De, you know, it's, she, I, I, I kid you not. Taylor, who has of course never played any of these games at all, tells D, you know, it's okay, D, it's your first time playing this game. And of course, what she means is, like, it's her first time playing Big Brother, which is exactly what Dee's trying to get across. I think Dee says that she does think Melody would use the veto if she were to win it. And, you know, that would be a concern because they don't want the veto to be used on Mallory. But, but Dee does tell Taylor that she would win the veto and use it on her. And Taylor this whole time, if you recall from yesterday, has really bought into this idea, this excuse that D used of one person was nominated from each group and therefore, and, and, and always thought, like, you know what, the logic is sound. But D just doesn't understand because what D didn't realize is that there were two other people in a group, Barrett and Ashley, because they lost that first competition. They didn't get be in a group, but that means that they should have also be considered. And so in her mind, the fair thing, the good thing to do, especially because she's not fond of Ashley in particular, would be to nominate either Ashley or Barrett. And Dee's like, yeah, okay, I'm down with that. Yeah, I could, I could put Ashley up until it was like, yeah, or Barrett. And he's like, well, I can't put Barrett up because he's playing in the veto. Right. And Taylor said, no, that's not how it works. If he doesn't win, you can put him up.
Commercial Announcer
Oh.
Chantel Aiden
Oh, yeah.
Darren Armstrong
Okay. That.
Commercial Announcer
Okay.
Chantel Aiden
Yeah.
Darren Armstrong
Yeah. Then, yeah. So, yeah, I mean, I could put up Ashley or Barrett. Yeah.
Chantel Aiden
I, I don't think anybody realizes how close and how much Dee cares for Barrett. They have a lot of conversations where it's just the two of them, but it doesn't look like they're scheming or anything. But I think she actually likes them as a friend and a person. And so, you know, having hearing people suggestive and have no idea, it could be kind of detrimental to their game. There's, like, a few people that are, like, don't, like, you know, like, Mallory, don't say anything to Angela because, like, this could be bad for you moving forward. And then also another one would definitely be with Taylor suggesting Barrett to D and be like, maybe not so good. She might not want to keep you here as much if you're going after someone that she really likes.
Darren Armstrong
Yeah. So it's, it's an interesting spot here for D. She is also going to talk with Yash, and she, you know, if you recall as well, she put Yasha. Yash was in her group, helped her win HOH brought her into the house, and she told her group that they were good when she won. And then she went and put Yash on the block without even really talking to him. And so, you know, usually that's a pretty big cause of, of strife. However, whether it's Yasha's personality or it's more good work on these part, they do still have a good relationship. He's actually kind of chill about it. He says, I trust in my relationship with you more than just, you know, you putting me up. And, you know, I would usually say, like, this is he, of course he's saying this. Why? Like, you would, you would say this if you were on the block, and maybe you're trying to just stay alive in the game. And that may be true to some degree, and he certainly has incentive to believe it more than he otherwise would. But Yash has been relatively consistent with this message through pretty much everyone he has talked to, including the people that you might consider his allies or the people that he's closest to. He genuinely seems to be pretty chill about this and not really that upset with D. But he did want to, like, of course, talk to her about the way it went down. Like, you know, I, I, I would have appreciated A little bit of a. A heads up, you know, because you did kind of do that thing where you said we were, we were good. And then it kind of just like out of the blue you kind of put me up. I mean, I'm chill, it's fine. But like. And she goes, okay. Oh, thank you for telling me. Oh, my God. I'm really sorry. Yeah.
Chantel Aiden
Wow. Fuck.
Darren Armstrong
Oh, I'm so sorry. I'm. I'm still learning.
Commercial Announcer
I'm still.
Darren Armstrong
Oh, my heart's racing. I can see why you would feel that way. That's fucked up. I'm so. Oh, man, I'm. I'm so sorry. And he's not. No, it's. I mean, it's fine. It's totally fine. I mean, like, I get it. You're still learning.
Chantel Aiden
No, I don't recall specifically this moment because later on when she's talking to Lyric, Lyric kind of confirms that she never really gave confirma that this. That she gave, you know, her group being like, where your guys are all safe. So do you have any specific memory of, like, what's the truth?
Darren Armstrong
I mean, this would have happened long before the feeds came on. So, you know, it's hard to say exactly what this statement was and what it was interpreted as. I would imagine we get it on tonight's episode, if it does exist in any form. I'm sure it does exist in some form, but it certainly could be one of those things where, like, they took it to mean something a bit more than. Than it actually was or, or something along those lines. But, you know, who knows? Either way, though, you know, it's. She's learning kind of batting 2 for 2 here. Now I say 2 for 2. Mallory is. Is still firmly anti d at this moment and will continue to be for the rest of the day as we will talk about. But back to the veto competition here. Melody and Barrett playing in the veto competition. Barrett does do a brief talk to the cameras and mentions that he does want to win the veto, but he's not going to be saving anybody. Despite the fact that many of the nominees were looking to potentially pick him or potentially have him play for them. He's not going to be saving anybody if he actually wins, but he does want to play and he does want to win. We're later going to hear him talk to some other people and I believe he's telling the truth when he does that. The reason he wants to win is that he was one of the two people who failed that first challenge. He looks like a pretty bad player. Bad competitor right now and he'd love to be able to prove himself and, and show like, hey, I can I, I, I'm not terrible at this, which I actually don't hate. You know, the veto is usually the, the far less valuable thing to win if you're not in any danger. But winning something early on in this way, there's some value there. And I can understand why he might be interested in, in taking a win here.
Chantel Aiden
Well, and also keeping himself safe. I know he is friends with D but like, who knows with how things are going to shake out the first week. I would want to be saf matter what and then also be people that be like, hey, you know, maybe I'm not going to put him up because he could the chance he could take him down. The fact that he, him and Ashley didn't play in that first comp, it could open up the door for people to be like, hey, like maybe they should be a renob situation or whatnot. So I definitely think that him winning this veto, keeping, keeping it the same shows some loyalty to D in the situation. Shows that like, he can win things and then also definitely keep himself safe.
Darren Armstrong
Yes. Melody, for her part talks to multiple people about this, including Devin's, about how she is a little conflicted about winning because she doesn't want to use the veto on Mallory despite what Mallory might want her to do. And when asked like, well, like, who do you want Mallory to go? She kind of like, yeah, which is just
Chantel Aiden
a lot.
Darren Armstrong
So, but she does, she is competitive and she, she does want to win the veto so she is looking to potentially win the veto and she kind of needs it. She kind of needs it. She's the name that's being floated as the renom and, and she's out here worrying about like, well, I don't want to look bad to Mallory if I win the veto and then they'll use it on her. But I don't want to use it on her because I kind of want her to go home. But she's also like my friend and it's just like focus maybe on like your own position and your own safety here. Could be, could be, could be useful. I don't know. That's just my thought.
Chantel Aiden
Yeah, I mean, the fact that she's completely oblivious to maybe, maybe she feels as though by her saying Mallory, Mallory, Mallory, they'll put the separation between her and that little trio and then maybe they won't want to come after her if Mallory is out of the game. So I, I kind of Understand the, The. The logic behind it, but, like, also, people value loyalty and the fact that she's just looking like such a disloyal friend, willing to drop her at the drop of a hat, doesn't like talking poorly about her behind her back, not even being upfront and honest with someone that's supposed to be her friend. She's still saying she's her friend, but she just doesn't want to work with her and doesn't want her to be in the game. And Mallory up would never, like, would use the veto on her. And so the fact that she's completely willing to lose any social capital she has with anybody else over the situation and a good friend in Mallory is. Is interesting because I thought that she'd be a better game player than this personally.
Darren Armstrong
Classic. Classic. We see this a lot. This is actually more of a Big Brother Canada thing. I think we've seen a lot of this in Big Brother Canada of the guy like, I gotta distance myself. I gotta distance myself. It's, you know, listen, I. I'm not gonna complain too much because this time last year we had, like, multiple people throwing their allies under the bus, nominating their allies, and in this house, there's one person basically doing it, and everyone's like, what is this person doing throwing their ally under the bus? So, you know, I think we've certainly got a higher base level to start with here. But. And. And the thing is, too, Melody, otherwise seems to be a bit of a game player. In fact, this is kind of the problem is that she's almost like she is such a game player that she's not focused enough on, like, how this looks, how this comes off to everyone else. So. So while this is all going on, everyone's hanging out in the morning. There is a moment outside between Barrett, Angela and Devins that. That really, like, helps start to illuminate exactly where things are because Angela says, all right, guys, we. We gotta get. We gotta get together later tonight after, you know, and we knew. We knew. I talked about how they did the little celly, you know, in the. In the storage room together the day before, but very clearly they are talking not only about themselves, but about D at the very least. And. And how, like, you know, because Angela's basically explaining to them, like, once the veto competition happens, we're gonna have to figure out, like, what exactly we're gonna do. We're gonna have a couple of days. Angela is kind of like their timekeeper. Not just these people, but, like, everyone in the house. She's helping explain to them the timing and the pacing of how things work. She's been here, she's done it before. So they talk about how they think Dee is doing really well. Angela mentions that she had warned Dee about the Yash thing and how he felt like he was a little bit blindsided by the nomination. And it seems like she's handling it well right now. Angela says, I feel, I feel really good about our group. Nobody's putting it together. This is really good. And in fact, actually thinking about it, maybe I shouldn't join the get together tonight because I trust you guys so much. You can, you can go up. Probably shouldn't have all three, you know, vets together. Devin's can go up and he can relay the information to me. I'll, I'll stay low key and not do it.
Chantel Aiden
Like, I, I get this and agree with this, but what do you think? Like, because you're always talking about, like, always want to touch base with your alliances and like, making sure that you're still good even, you know, a few hours later, a few days later. So do you think her staying apart, do you think it's actually, like, good, or do you think it's possible that, like, she might not have the same amount of trust within that group?
Darren Armstrong
I, I'm not gonna lie. I, I was because, because, like, there's.
Chantel Aiden
There's a part of me that's on
Darren Armstrong
Angela watch, you know, like, like she's doing really well, but I've been here before and, and like, I, I do. I woke up one morning and all of a sudden crazy eyes escaped the facility and it was like, oh, boy. So, you know, I'm a little bit, like, watchful of this and, and when I hear Angela start to go like, yeah, we should get together. I'm feeling so good. Wait, maybe I shouldn't. Maybe I should stay back. Maybe I shouldn't join the group. I am a little bit like, oh, are we going somewhere here? Because this could, I think in a cast of all new players, if this, like this honestly sounds a little bit like, certainly don't mean this to be a comparison compared to Angela. This is what Riley did last season at the start of the season. He was like, oh, no, I don't want to be in a group. I don't want to be seen talking in a group. But to answer the question, no, I don't think this is actually bad. Angela has this vet connection with, with Devin's and D that is stronger than just like a random grouping of, of people. You know, they're not just gonna drop her just like that because they haven't, like, bonded enough. In addition to that, Angela does make sure to go and do the work, which is connecting with D and Devins and various people individually throughout the day. So it's not like she's not experiencing that bonding in the way that, like, Riley sectioned himself off all day in the previous season. So. And we're actually. We're going to talk about some of those conversations as well. So, like, I actually feel, like, smart. Yes. I actually like this. They should be, especially because they are the vets, the icons as. As they're being called. Um, it's. It's good to keep them from being in a trio together in any particular place. So I'm actually. I'm actually into it.
Chantel Aiden
Yay. Like you. I am, you know, on edge. Let's see what Angela is going to do. But I do think that, you know, with some of their conversations that she has, that she feels better this time around. She feels like people are on her side. She feels like people are actually wanting to play with her. She's not feeling like an outsider. And so I do think that when she says that, like, okay, I can step back. I don't want us all to be seen together because you don't. We already have a target on her back. So, like, let's just touch base separately. So, yeah, I do agree with you that it's. It's good. It's good for her. But like you as well, I am nervous for Angela because anything could happen, and she. She might, you know, blow.
Darren Armstrong
Yeah.

While we're at it, we might as well skip forward just a little bit, because in talking about Angela and her relationship to D, she does eventually get a chance to have some brief alone time with D earlier in the day. She's gonna have some more later, but. And this is kind of like a thing that they're doing in general, her and D with Davins. It's the same with, like, Drew,
Chantel Aiden
I miss you.
Darren Armstrong
Oh, my God, we have a chance. It's. And this is like, I'm gonna. I'm probably gonna keep using this word throughout the update today, because it's the word that keeps coming to my mind when I'm thinking about what's happening. It's textbook. It is the thing that they are doing to help bond with one another. And we're only five days in, and we started with on day four, and it's like, I don't know exactly how they managed to solidify so quickly, but, like. But part of it is every time somebody from this grouping of people, which we'll talk about very soon, it certainly includes Barrett, Angela, Devin, and D. And we'll talk about. Drew is in there as well. Every time they get a chance to be alone, the veil. The veil drops, and it's like the vibe changes, and they're like, we're doing it.
Chantel Aiden
Like, oh, my God.
Darren Armstrong
Like, oh, I miss you so much. It's so. I can't. This is so good. This. We're getting a chance to talk, and, like, nobody sees what's happening, and. And. And that matters. It really feels like, you know, the. The. Your guard drops. Like, it feels like this. These are my people. And everyone else is like, guard up face on. Like, we're.
Chantel Aiden
We're working.
Darren Armstrong
And then with. With my people, it's like, ah, this is. This is great. This is good. This is good stuff. And that's just textbook. That's just like, you know exactly what you should be doing here.
Chantel Aiden
Well, that's definitely for an alliance. Now, what about naming an alliance? Should they be naming their group? Do they have a name yet? I haven't heard one, but I do think I've heard might need to come into play.
Darren Armstrong
Yeah, we do have some names to drop on, on you, but I don't think I've heard a name for this particular grouping of people quite yet.
Chantel Aiden
It's coming though. I feel it.
Darren Armstrong
I'm sure, I'm sure, I'm sure it's there. So. So Dee and Angela do get a chance to connect up in the hoh room. I miss you. THEY HUG and, and genuinely, this is like a sweet moment. And, and again, because of my experience with Angela, I'm always, I'm always a little skeptical of like, honestly of anything she says because as I said yesterday, she is the kind of player that will like, do something and then turn to the cameras afterward and be like. But it's felt very genuine because we know what Angela's journey has been on her season and not only the paranoia which, you know, can be laid on the feet of Angela, but also then an entire season's worth of being a second class player in the house, being somebody that is just kind of dragged along that says, can I be on the bottom of your alliance? And even then, like, not really. And, and it's, it's similar to what I remember thinking about with Rachel, who had never really had a chance to have much of a social game before, partly due to her own social game in the past and partly just due to the circumstances of where and how she was playing. But Angela's saying to D like, this has been the best experience so far. Like, is this what it's supposed to feel like, like to have allies, to have people that you trust? And he's like, yes, like, yes, this is exactly what it was like on Survivor for me. Like when you have people that, that are with you and that you're working together and that you just trust and that you see across the room and like, you know, you're in, you're working with them, like, all good stuff. And they have this sweet moment, sweet moment for Angela.
Chantel Aiden
I definitely like that moment because I haven't played obviously a live game, but I played orgs and LRGs in my personal life and I've made some really close friendships through these games is because we connected, we realized that we wanted to work together. You know, we would do all of our work with everybody else and then we'd always come back together and, you know, touch base and it actually really allows you to have a deep friendship. And I think that that's what she's experiencing here. I would expect that her and Dee and, and the rest of this alliance, if they go, you know, the Distance, or at least even halfway through the game, that they'll make a very strong real friendship. And so I'm really happy that she's having this experience because that's one of the elements of these games that I love, is the connections that people make when they're working, you know, to win a large sum of money all together, but separately at the same time.
Darren Armstrong
Yes. Yes. So back to this. To this grouping. In the initial conversation between Angela Devins and Barrett, Barrett mentioned that he's expecting Kamu to continue to try to get him nominated. Meaning Barrett knows that Kamu's been trying to get him nominated. He's been told by a couple of people, Devin's included and I assume D included as well here, which was the first real signal. I suspected this the day before, but the first real amount of evidence for me that, like, okay, Barrett knows more than Camus, like, Barrett knows more about Kamu than Kamu knows about Barrett, and. And their. And. And their relationship to D. And all of this meaning Kamu, Haley. That side of things seems more like what I suspected, a side alliance. And. And that the Barrett alliance is the real thing for D. And we're gonna get more and more evidence of that, of course, as we go along.
Chantel Aiden
I definitely like her with Parrot better than with the Kabu side of things. Personally, I. I'm interested to see how that might start shaking out, because it seems like they're like another little faction that's, like, not necessarily as well liked in the house, it seems, but they also are still gaining numbers, so I have my eye on them as well.
Darren Armstrong
Yes. We are later going to learn that this does have a name, which is the Red Corner. Don't quite know what that means. It might be a fighting thing. The red corner.
Chantel Aiden
Yeah, it sounds fighting. Ish.
Darren Armstrong
Yeah.
Chantel Aiden
Red card, red corner, like. And yeah, he's an MMA fighter, so maybe that actually means something. Chat help.
Darren Armstrong
Yes. So that alliance we know is Chuck, Haley, Camus, and of course D is in it, right? Like, she knows the name. Not only does she know the name, but again, Barrett knows the name. The whole alliance basically knows the name. So it's a. It's a boxing term.
Chantel Aiden
People are saying, okay, again, that makes sense against the color of their actual corner. Opposites, opposition. Okay.
Darren Armstrong
So very much seems to be, like I said, a side alliance for D, a parachute alliance for D, so to speak. And. And it's working. I mean, it's working perfectly in terms of, like, how it should. Where Kamu and Haley in particular, Haley even more so than Kamu really taking all of the heat for Dee's decision making for. For, like, the target on anyone's back. If there is any amount of, you know, upset in the house about the nominations or about the first HOA train, it pretty much goes right past D and on to Haley, Kamu, because they feel like they're the ones influencing D again, with one exception, and that exception is Mallory, who is still looking at D, Kamu, and Haley, which is still not that much of a problem for D ultimately, but certainly much more of one. So Drew and Devins do have a chance to chat as well. Drew tells Devins about his conversation with Mallory the night before. If you recall, I talked about how Drew and Mallory had a chat. Seemed like they were working together in some capacity, and. And that Melody in particular has been looking for a guy to link up with who can help her win competitions. Like, just, like, a physical presence. And. And, you know, Drew seems to fit the bill at this point. And Drew, based on what he's telling Devin's, kind of got that vibe. Like, not. Not just got the vibe. She actively told him that that's what she was looking for. But in his eyes, it's like, well, she probably would have preferred Kamu, but he's with, like, Haley. She probably would have preferred Rome, but he's with Lyric. Like, I feel like I was just kind of left over. She came to me. And it seems like he's not that into this idea of working with Melody, which I was a little surprised about, because obviously, you know, regardless of your feelings toward her, it's valuable to have somebody who wants to work with you. And so. And I. Listen, I apologize if I end up saying Mallory or Melody. I'm talking about Melody, the blonde Melody, who is not nominated. That is who I'm talking about with Drew. So I. I thought this is a great spot for Drew if he's able to pick up an ally here in Melody. But the way he's talking to Devin's about it is like, I'm not really into this. I don't trust her because she drops. She dropped Mallory really quickly, which is fair. And. And. And basically, you know, talked about how she is a potential, like, backup option for. For. For a renom. So, you know, this might not even last that long. But in the course of this very conversation, seems to be like, wait a minute, hold on. Maybe keeping her around could be a good idea because she could be a parachute ally. You ever hear about the Cookout Devins?
Chantel Aiden
I mean, it obviously is smart for you to keep anybody that wants to work with you in the game, which is kind of what we're giving Melody a little bit of heck for not wanting to keep Mallory in the game because Mallory is somebody that is not going to be coming for you and, and that, you know, you can, you could be working with on the, on the side. And so it's also very funny how there's a lot of explaining the game to, you know, these people before. Like, Devin seems to know Big Brother more than D does seems to know. And it's also very funny that someone that, like, yeah, he knows the game, but he doesn't know the game that much to know that, like, you know, there's been others before the cookout.
Darren Armstrong
Yeah. I mean, in terms of like, active knowledge. There was a conversation before as well. I think it was maybe Lala was in that conversation or I don't recall it said there's a conversation. Conversation in the bathroom that. No, I think Angela was in that conversation that Jason joined and they were talking about how D doesn't know much. And I think Angela was like, yeah, Devin's doesn't know much either. And Jason tried to ignore her saying that and like, yeah, but I think D doesn't know much and she's like. And Devin's. And he was like, I think Devin's known. That's just me. I like, like, we'll talk about Jason laser focused on Devins, but Devins is again doing his best to try to like, downplay, but not as much as D. I think he just doesn't. Isn't as like, capable. I think that people see Devins and they know his reputation and they assume that he would know more than they assume that D would know more. And that's because they don't understand who D is.
Chantel Aiden
Yeah, they're. They're getting tricked. They're getting tricked for sure. I, I do think that Dee is getting clarification sometimes, but I also think she's gauging how smart other people are in the game as well. Like, okay, what would your strategy be? It's kind of like what she's kind of asked, like, why would you do that? Okay. Oh, I. Oh, I understand now. Oh, I don't really know this game. So, like, even if she doesn't know the game, I think she's actually gaining a lot of information from people that are teaching her game, which I think is, is great for her as well.
Darren Armstrong
Yeah, I mean, you know, I'm not going to say that I, that I think necessarily that Dee knows every nook and cranny of, like, the details of how the.
Chantel Aiden
She's read the manual, though, or whatever,
Darren Armstrong
the practicalities of the game. But, like, that's not all she's playing dumb with. Like, she's. She's pretending she doesn't understand, like, how relationships work. How, like, oh, if I'm supposed to nominate people that just, like, anybody, like, not just from groups of people, like, like, oh, somebody. Well, wouldn't they want to use the Vita? Like, very clearly, D Is. Is playing this up. I think, at this point. Like, I don't think that's really, like, up for debate anymore. And you can also tell this because the second she gets in a conversation with one of her real allies, her entire demeanor changes. She goes from, wait, Angela, is this how it's supposed to work? To, oh, no, Angela, this is how it's supposed to work. And, you know, it's. It's. It's very clear, I think. But back to Drew and Devin's. Drew says, you ever hear about the cookout Devins? Basically, you get a parachute alliance, you get put up on the block with that person. Melody could be that person for me. If I get put up with Melody, you guys keep me safe over Melody. That's good for us. So maybe we. Maybe we should keep Melody around. In addition to that, he also kind of wants to keep Mallory around, the person who's on the block and potentially the target. And Devin's agrees with that. We already know that Angela wants Mallory around. The one thing that I was confused about the day before in terms of Angela and Dee's relationship was that Angela seemed to be under the assumption that Mallory would be sticking around. I wasn't sure if Dee was, like, correcting that notion or if Dee was really looking to target Mallory. So I wasn't entirely sure. But it seems like most of this alliance, if not all of this alliance, is already looking at Mallory as somebody that they want to keep. And instead, maybe Yash might be a good target. I mean, you know, if he's on the block at the end of the week, which, of course, is exactly what we expected would happen. This is exactly what has happened the previous two times. This is the first week is played out in the blockbuster era, and so Yash beginning to become a bit more of a target within this power group, the group race current currently controlling the house. In addition to that, Devin says, I like Taylor as a person a lot. I don't. I don't even want to see Taylor go. So, yeah, I Think Yash would be a great target.
Chantel Aiden
And I think also just feeling how, like, I don't know what's obviously gonna happen yet because it hasn't played out. But the fact that he's so confident, you know, you see him in conversations with Taylor being like, both of us are staying at the end of this week, and, you know, the way that he's speaking, I. I just feel like he's gonna have a rude awakening and, like, if he doesn't win that blockbuster at the end of the week, I kind of feel like they're not gonna take, like, lose that shot, miss that shot of taking out, like, a strong competitor that knows the game a little bit, that, you know, I don't know. I just. The feeling I have is that Yash might be the first person going out this week. Obviously, that can change depending on what happens with the veto ceremony, etcetera, and who's sitting beside or potentially. But I don't know, with the way he's talking, I just. It's ominous to somebody that's going to go home unexpectedly.
Darren Armstrong
Yeah, I mean, I think, you know, I keep talking about textbook, and I think the reason textbook is relevant for the House right now is because the knowledge gap is so real and Yash is the person with perhaps the least amount of knowledge and he just doesn't quite have the urgency he needs to have in this. In this moment. And even as he starts to develop some of that urgency, he doesn't have really any idea how to go about saving himself or changing his fate here. He just doesn't have the same level of knowledge as the vets, as the super fans, or even, like, just the big fans of the show because there are a lot of fans here and the gameplay level is a little bit, like, higher than. Than normal, I would say, right now. You know, it could always change as things start to get a little harder, but. But, yeah, we'll see what happens with Yash over the course of the day. Haley talks with Lala, which is an interesting pairing of people. And the reason I talk about it is because they're talking about Melody and how Melody has been picked to play in the veto, and they don't know exactly what Melody will do with it. And Lala says, I don't like Melody. I don't like Melody. And Haley's like, me, too. They don't like Melody.
Chantel Aiden
And was this their whispering combo?
Darren Armstrong
Sorry?
Chantel Aiden
Was this their whispering combo? Because, like, I, like, I found them very, very difficult to make out what they're saying when they were whispering, if this is that conversation, because I was like, whoa. Like, I really had to, like, pay play close attention.
Darren Armstrong
I do not recall if they were whispering at the time, but it would not surprise me if they were whispering so hard. But, but yes, they don't like Mallory much. Sorry, scratch that. They don't like Melody much. Melody, the blonde who is not on the block, who wants to distance herself from Mallory with the glasses, who is on the block. So they don't like her much. And, and it's because, I think largely because she is spending so much time, again, trying to distance herself from the friend, from, from the friend that she does have and not spending enough time making more friends. She, she got in with, with Drew, which is great and could be very beneficial to her if Drew really does stick to this idea that he wants to keep her around. But, but now she's kind of stuck to Drew, like blue, at least for the first portion of the day. And it's like, Melody, Drew's gonna want to distance himself from you at this point. Lala says she's gonna be voting out Yash over Taylor. And because we know that Lala really loves Taylor. But it's also, again, just talking about, like, voting out Yash in general. And Lala also makes sure to mention Angela's gotta go. Angela's gotta go. Wow. We can't have her stay too long. Devin's too. Devin's too. But, but we love Deed. We both. They both loved Haley and Lala. They both love D. They want to work with D. They want to keep D around as long as possible. But, but Lala very anti Angela. Jason very anti Devin's. Lala also anti Devin's. Lala's anti vet, except for D. Jason's generally anti vet except for D. So these are the two kind of like biggest anti vet forces, I would say. And, and they both like to spread it.
Chantel Aiden
Is, is Lala only going after Angela? Obviously, the vet thing is kind of universal, but because of the age thing, she wants to be the first, the oldest house guest to, to win Big Brother.
Darren Armstrong
I, I, it's, I, I, I don't know what else it is.
Chantel Aiden
Well, good. But it's kind of like I feel like they should almost work together, you
Darren Armstrong
know, you would think, I mean, I don't know. Like, it's, it's, Listen, I understand why new players would want to take out vets. I don't understand why they would want to take out Angela first, then Devin's and leave D. But, but yeah, it's Again, it's just a bit of a knowledge gap here. The, the biggest superfans, Barrett and Drew, completely understood that it is in their interests to get as cozy as possible with these people as early as possible because that is the. The safe and effective place to be. And the. Those that are like, like, ah, these people are dangerous. I want them out. You know, are. Are left in the cold. And that's unfortunate for somebody like Lala who I think otherwise would be a really, like in a really good position socially. She's phenomenal. But. But she's kind of like on the wrong side of things right now. Now that could change. Of course we have one, you know, group in power, but, you know, that's because they're hoh. I mean this, this week truly showing the effectiveness of the first HOH when you aren't a disaster player.
Chantel Aiden
Yeah, I know. It's definitely starting to line up really nicely. It could be actually with Lala, the case of like not wanting somebody that has your name inside the house as well could be that they're just like similar archetypes. Like, I want to be the only one here. And that's could be also why she doesn't want to be with Angela.
Darren Armstrong
Think about what their alliance name could have been. Angela.
Chantel Aiden
Angela. I mean, maybe, maybe you need to pitch that, send a tweet or something. When she's had a household or love it.
Darren Armstrong
Yes. So there is a conversation as well between Barrett and Ashley. Ashley is also thinking or Ashley is sort of like, Ashley is an interesting player. We kind of have to talk about her a little bit. She doesn't seem to have a. She doesn't seem to fit anywhere. She has good relationships everywhere. Doesn't really fit anywhere. And you might actually call her a floater at this point if, if such a thing could exist so early on and she just kind of is floating around, I think, looking for a place. She does get along, I think most with a couple of the women like, like Lyric and Melody and, and them. But. But also seems to have a decent relationship with Barrett. She's thinking that they should keep Yash, that they should take out Mallory or Taylor. And, and I thought was particularly interesting about this conversation, of course, is that when she says we should take out Mallory or Taylor, uh, Barrett says, yeah, who knows what will happen with the veto.
Chantel Aiden
It's not offering anything up here.
Darren Armstrong
Which is one of those signs. One of those signs.
Chantel Aiden
Yeah. Wasn't he crushing on her? Like, when did that end?
Darren Armstrong
You know, like, maybe it's still there. Oh, you know, they were chatting.
Chantel Aiden
I mean, that would be an unlikely duo, but, like, I think it would keep. I'd ship it. Would you ship that, couples, Darren?
Darren Armstrong
You, like, what would their name be? Ashley?
Chantel Aiden
Barely. Barely.
Darren Armstrong
Barely. Oh, okay. Yeah, that's pretty good. That's on the spot. So Drew talks to Melody again. She's been kind of, like, hanging out with. With him for a little while, and he basically, like, quizzes her about Mallory again. Drew is talking to Melody, the one not on the block. Mallory on the block. Melody wants to distance herself from Mallory, who is on the block. And he's, I think, trying to be, like, now that I've thought about maybe keeping her around, like, let me get to the bottom of this, like, distancing thing. Like, what's up with your relationship with Mallory? She's like, yeah, I just don't want to be associated with Mallory. And he's like, well, but, like, do you. Do you. Do you want Mallory gone? She's like, kind of like, over Taylor. Like, yeah, I think so. I just don't want to be associated with Mallory. Like, it, like, it's not like I can't trust her to keep information to herself, but, like, I just can't, like, I can't trust her to, like, keep it together, you know, like, not crash out. And I'm, I'm just. What did Mallory do?
Chantel Aiden
Oh, I know. Like, I was just thinking, brought me to, like, it's a Survivor reference. Like, I guess I can reference Survivor since, like, you know, people are from that game. But when Aubrey in her first season had her major crash out, so maybe, maybe it's similar to this. And then maybe after that, Mallory is going to rebuild and, like, become, like, a really, really strong, powerful player. Because, like, that's the only thing I can imagine would have happened is that, like, you know, maybe crying, maybe lashing out, maybe talking to people that she shouldn't be. I, I don't know. But I'm thinking it's similar to how Aubrey had a bit of a crash out. But I'm hoping that other than with Melody, but that Mallory will be able to rebuild herself. And maybe they show us in the episode, like, what happened.
Darren Armstrong
I'm sure they will. I, I, I, I. It's, it's possible she's just talking about, like, Mallory crying after being nominated, which would be wild if that's all it was. But, but, but basically, Drew's like, well, don't you want somebody like that in the house, though? Like, literally, like, try, like, trying to, trying, trying with Melody here, she goes, no, not if she's associated with me. And it's like, Mallory. Melody doesn't quite understand it, but she's arguing against her own case with Drew where, like, Drew's essentially saying to Melody, don't you want Mallory around as an ally who will take heat? And Melody is saying, no, I wouldn't want her because she's associated with me. And Drew is. Is currently trying to make that his own equation about Melody, and she's arguing the wrong side of it. If she wants him to work with
Chantel Aiden
her, she's definitely against her own interests. It feels like you want this to happen, right? And she's like, no. And then he's like, okay, well, it might not happen between us now, because you don't think it would be the smart move.
Darren Armstrong
He does. He does say, like, hey, if you win hoh, Like. Like, that would be great. I. I'll be like, your go between. I'll be like, the HOH is busy right now. Which I thought was very funny because he had just talked to. To Devins about making her an obvious pair so that she would be nominated with him. And then he's talking to her about how if she wins hoh, he would be very obviously linked to her. So interesting stuff there. And if you're like, oh, look at Drew. He does have a little bit of a. An error here as well. Earlier in the day, he talks to Lyric, and they're, like, on a walk for a bit, and. And they're chatting, and he's kind of joking around, and, you know, she's like, I feel good with everyone. I feel like I trust everyone who's like. Like, even me. She's like, yeah. She's like, we don't talk, you mean? And. And just talking in general, trying to, like, get. Get a vibe from her, chat with her, ask her some questions. Lyric does not like this. Lyric did not like her conversation with Drew. She has set him off a little or. So he has set her off a little bit just in terms of, like, just feeling sketched out, I guess, from that conversation. There was nothing in the conversation that stuck out to me particularly. That's why I can't exactly pinpoint exactly what the problem is, aside from, like, the. The occasional joke here or there. But. But she did not like it. And she talks to Jason about that, and Jason said, oh, don't worry about him. He's sketchy. People know it. They're gonna go for him. Remember, Drew, in the eyes of the house, is somebody that might have been Nominated or was almost nominated. And Jason in particular also doesn't like Drew very much and thinks that Drew snuck up to the hoh room and got himself saved from the block by. By sucking up the D. So. So Jason is saying that Jason and Lyric are really tightly linked. He says they're doing a great job of keeping their thing low key, and they agree that Mallory is the target for them. Like, Lyric is also have, like, willing to drop Mallory here, just not being as vocal about it, which helps alleviate some of the melody pressure that is happening. But basically, Lyric and Jason are kind of like. It seems like they're super tight. She's with Rome, but also Jason is like, her next closest ally.
Chantel Aiden
Yeah, I definitely like them together. And, like, thanks for piecing that together, because I was just wondering, like, was there something that I missed as to why she dislikes Drew so much? But I do think it must be her relationship with Jason. And Jason talking about the fact that Drew must have done something sneaky to get himself to not be the target. And so that. That must be the reason because I was just like, what?
Darren Armstrong
What?
Chantel Aiden
What did he do? What did he do? It didn't make any sense to me. I also actually really like, like Jason, and I like Lyric. I like their little dynamic together. I'm not that. Plus about the little showmance thing, It's a little bit too cutesy. Um, but I do like Lyric and Jason's relationship.
Darren Armstrong
Yes. At Sockdoc, we know being a healthy adult is like living in a video game. Every day has side quests, taxes, laundry, birthdays. And just when you're leveling up, you have to book a doctor. The insurance portal crashes. They put you on hold. Your doctor doesn't take your plan. Game over. We see you. So we made booking a doctor easy. Download Sockdoc, search by specialty, insurance and availability. Book instantly. No cheat codes required. Find a doctor you love with Sockdoc. So the feeds eventually go down for the veto. And I think this is a good place to kind of pause and get a solid grasp, just, like, touch on some of the other people to give you an idea of where they're at at the moment. We've talked plenty about Angela. I mentioned Ashley Barrett. Chuck is. Is pretty quiet for the most part in terms of, like, strategic play. He is going to have a conversation with. With Rome that. That I. That I skipped over accidentally. So in this conversation is a little illuminating. So Chuck has a conversation with Rome, but where they talk about, like, how they were kind of working together and so what it seems to me, is that Chuck, Kamu, Haley, that red corner alliance that includes D in some capacity, kind of maybe also included Rome at one point. I don't know if he was around for the official naming or if he was just around for early talk, but. But. But Rome was a part of that group that they had talked about working together. And what I assume happened is that, like, they were there. Maybe Haley had a. A thing for Rome. Maybe there was a little flirtation happening, and it was like, these are. You know, it makes sense. Like, all the Chuck and Kamu and Rome and Haley and maybe even D at that point. Who knows? These. These big, athletic people all coming together. But then Rome, again, like, the meme, had eyes for Lyric. And basically, just to help explain more of Rome, like, the guys locked in on Lyric, like, he. I think, you know, he's there. He's there to play the game. He's there to. He's there. He's gonna have conversations with people, but his focus is on Lyric. He is very much like. Like, I think the game is. Is a distant second place to the ultimate goal, which is, you know, develop a relationship with Lyric. So. So, you know, that becomes pretty clear and ultimately kind of splits him off from this group. And so Chuck tries to have a conversation where he's trying to, like, reel him back in a little bit. Like, I. You know, I really feel like, like, you know, you should. You should be having more conversations with us. You know, like, has anything changed since we originally got together? And Ron's like, no, nothing's changed. It's like, I just feel like maybe showmances are involved and, like, maybe, you know, I feel like, you know, it's day five. Like, we shouldn't, like, let showmances get in the way of our strategic game. And Rom's like, of course not. I don't know. By the way, Rome is, like, very much pretending, like, he can play down the relationship. Like. Like, oh, we were in the same bed. Yeah, she's just, you know, she's. It's really. You know, her voice gives out, so it's hard to hear what she's saying. So I needed to get into. Have a conversation in her. In her bed. Nobody. Nobody knows that we were kissing.
Chantel Aiden
They all know. I think also part of it, though, is the Haley faction here, because it does seem like Hal Haley was a little bit hurt that she wasn't the one maybe chosen for his admirations. And so I think that that, like, even if he doesn't ever say it, I think Haley being part of this group is also, you know, it could jeopardize what Lyric things if like, you know, you saw them working or talking or hanging out together. And so I think that he just doesn't even want to jeopardize his relationship with Lyric to be into something with Haley, especially since Haley had, I think for him and may even still. Yeah. And so that's also probably why he's not fully, you know, immersing himself in this group.
Darren Armstrong
Yeah, but, but what this does is it leaves the, the feud, so to speak, between Haley, Kamu and Rome a bit more one sided than we might have thought. Right. We kind of thought like there was a little bit of like a full on schism and that like, you know, Rome had his people and Kamu and Haley had their people. But I think the closer reality is that Rome actually kind of still feels like he's in good with them to some degree though. I think that's starting to change because, you know, him drifting off has caused them to be looking at him a certain way, but he hasn't quite fully realized how much that that's happening. And with the Haley situation, it's also a little bit unclear. You know, again, she had talked the previous day as you referenced that like she was like, oh, you know, I thought you were really hot. But then you went with Lyric. And so it is, it's possible that those are real things. I mean she was saying that she was saying that to, to like pump up his ego. So it's, you know, who knows. But you know, Chuck is essentially, you know, I think one of those just kind of like seemingly so far it's like he's got a group of people and he just wants to have a solid group, have a solid alliance. And he's trying to play mediator, he's trying to pull Rome back in. I don't think it's going to be super successful. Chuck emphasizes the importance of having a core group early on. You know, the game is a marathon, but that doesn't mean that we shouldn't talk game. That doesn't mean that we shouldn't pull a group together because other core groups will be forming, which is all good stuff from Chuck, but. But ultimately, you know, there wasn't much more from Chuck throughout the day in terms of gaming. Too much.
Chantel Aiden
Yeah, I, I've definitely felt that, you know, obviously it's good that he's trying to form a group, especially in this first week, one that sort of includes the head of household. But I also feel as Though he doesn't actually have his finger on the pulses to what is actually going on in the house. And I think that he thinks that is the one that's in control, probably because they have D sort of part of it, but, like, there's so many other things that are going on around him that he's not really a part of the conversations. Like, he's. He's just. He does seem to be on the outside of the rest of the game. And so I'm wondering if he's going to kind of get some insight as to like, oh, wait, I'm not in as good of a position that I actually. That I think I am. He. I feel like he feels like he's like the nucleus and like he's actually just like, like, not really part of, like the main focus of the game.
Darren Armstrong
Yes, yes, for sure. We already talked about D. Devin's Drew Haley, as I mentioned. No real change from where we saw her the day before, the day before. You know, again, like, we. I guess we have further clarification that her alliance is not exactly the main one for D. And that's. She's basically being propped up as the fall guy for everything that's happening right now. And that's. That's a pretty successful strategy at the moment. Jason continues to be about where he was the day before. I would say maybe a little bit. You know, again, considering how strong a position this vet alliance has, it's. It's a bit worse again, that he has really chosen to work against them, especially because it doesn't seem like he's got anything super solid locked in. Kamu. Same with Haley. He was a little quieter throughout the day yesterday than he was the day before. Lala We've already talked about a bit. Lyric again, spends a lot of time with Rome. I would say Lyric is slightly less focused on Rome than Rome is focused on her, but they are pretty similarly locked in. Like, they're very focused on each other and the game is a little. Feeling a little secondary for both of them. Them. I. I think she's again, maybe like a little more. Like she has less people approaching her to talk about things than Rome does at times. But I do feel like she's got a little more space for the game than Rome does at times. Mallory again on the block. Mallory spends most of the day just talking about how she wants to go after D, Kamu and Haley and try and get other people to do the same. But we'll talk about more about her in just a moment. Talked about Melody Rome. Taylor is interesting. She has a conversation with Barrett, she talks with Lala a lot. Taylor is like reasonably liked in the house, but I think again, we don't know exactly what happened in those early days or if that thing with Devin, you know, ended. Ended up going anywhere. Devin's did say he likes Taylor a lot, so it does seem like they've repaired that. Whatever it was, if it, if it ever was anything, it just feels like Taylor got off on the wrong foot and then was nominated and has never had a chance to really like do much beyond that.
Chantel Aiden
But it's operating pretty slop or like she's. She's half.
Darren Armstrong
Yeah.
Chantel Aiden
So like she's really low energy and I don't know if it's helping her this first week. Week.
Darren Armstrong
She's talking a lot about being really hungry a lot of the time and that it's like, like genuinely and I, and I actually believe her that like a lot of her, like being nominated is not the highest thing on her priority list. Just feeling hungry and tired is taking up more of the headspace and so she hasn't really had a chance to get off the ground. But, but what she is doing is, is decent so far. She's. The way she's talking with D, she's talking with Lala, with Yash, she's making some decent bonds. People do like her. So that's good. Yash is, as we talked about before, you know, doing okay, but doesn't quite know exactly what he should be doing, I think in the. For the most part and thinks he's too good or, you know, thinks too much that he's good for, for the vote. So that's kind of where things stand. The feeds are down for the veto and when they come back up, we discover that Mallory has won the power of veto. The supposed target of the week, though it was starting to shift, has won the veto. And this marks by the way, the third time in a row in the. In the blockbuster era that the target has won the Veto in week one. Of course, we had Lisa in, in. In season 26. We had Ashley last season, now Mallory this season. So fun, fun little stuff going on there. Uh, they clearly are giving competitions like the week one veto being a competition that is giving the chance for players like Lisa, Ashley and Mallory to win is clearly a good decision because these are the kinds of players that are often targeted early on. People that they don't think are capable of winning competitions, they're easy targets and then giving them one of a kind of competition that allows for those players to win is working really well. So good stuff. I don't know if it's on purpose, but. But good stuff. This was like a puzzle.
Chantel Aiden
Yeah. I'm trying to figure out the 9 degrees, 45 degrees.
Darren Armstrong
Like, yeah.
Chantel Aiden
Lines. Yeah. I was trying to figure out what. What this. What. What this game or puzzle was, but I couldn't really.
Darren Armstrong
There's a lot of talk about how Mallory has. Has basically, like, done this before, played this game before on, like, I assume a smaller scale, but. But, you know, I'm never good at figuring out what the competition was, to be honest. It's so I. I just. I start tuning it out when they start talking about things. But Melody, Mallory has won the veto, and that means she will be taking herself off the block. Huge for Mallory. Of course. We talked about this yesterday. By far, the biggest thing that you can do to help yourself in week one if you're on the block is take yourself off the block. Not only because it keeps you guaranteed safe, but it also opens you up to have a social life again. Melody, who's been talking about distancing herself from Mallory all week long, is now like, well, look who's miss veto queen over here. Mallory now has a veto. She's safe. And, and, oh, Melody might be the one ending up on the block considering that she's one of the most likely renoms. And so at this point, going through the list of people that D is likely to nominate, certainly not Angela. It's. It's not going to be Barrett. Chuck is safe. It's not going to be Devin's. It's not going to be Drew. Haley and Kamu are in this, like, side alliance with her. Probably not going to be them. Jason is safe. Lala, maybe we'll talk about it. But Lala is very popular and people like her, and it's not a lot of reason to nominate her. Not a lot of momentum there. Lyric, maybe she's connected to Rome. If you want to take a shot there, you could. We'll talk about that one as well. Melody is the obvious option. As somebody who has been gaming pretty hard, who has a lot of heat on her, nobody would be mad. She's been distancing herself from her only friends, and a lot of people want her on the block, so that's a popular option. Rome is safe. The other two are already nominated. And that's really. That's really it. It's like, Ashley, maybe because, you know, she's like, got no. No other people. Lyric, Lala, Melody But Melody is easily the biggest option on the board at this point in time and the person that Diaz talked about nominating the most. But she has mentioned Ashley a bit as well. Remember in her conversation with Taylor earlier in the day, she mentioned that she might nominate Ashley and it fits her logic of like Ashley and Barrett in the remaining group of people are two people that she could put up on block. So that's kind of like the assumed analysis. And I mentioned this now because we don't really get anything from D in terms of who she plans to nominate until the very end of the night, which I will then reveal what she's talking about. But we do start to cross some people off the list throughout the day, so we'll get to that as well.
Chantel Aiden
Like I. Because she's been such a bad friend to Valerie, I really wanted to stick with Valerie getting just like she needs to have an awakening. I want to see how she's going to react if she. She's going to be policing how Mallory reacts when she's being nominated. I just want to see how she reacts and see if it's going to be better or she's recognizing that she may. May react similar to Mallory and didn't. Doesn't like that maybe that quality in herself. So at this point I was kind of obviously happy for Mallory because I like when the person that really wants to be here has the opportunity to, to play a competition where they can win and they do. But I also really need Melanie to like, like realize that what she's done. I need you to feel the pain. And so at this point I was happy with the way that the Renoms were potentially going. But things may change, obviously.
Darren Armstrong
Yes. And in the interest of not taking all day, we'll, we'll try to try to. I've given you the good. A good lay down now so of the. Of where things stand. So we'll try to sort of speed through some, some, some of the, the conversations here. Again, Mallory spending a lot of time. It's just important to impress this upon you. Spending a lot of time talking to many people about her plans to nominate D, Kamu and Haley and talking to a player like Taylor who we already know is pretty good with the. At this point at least saying like, I want to put up D. You should put up D. And Taylor's like, I'd put up Kaamu, I'd put up Haley, but I don't want to put up D. Why not? Like, I don't. I just, I feel, I feel like I'm fine with D. I'm, I, I don't think she really knew what she was doing. And she's like, but she's locked in with Kamu. We need to put her up on the block. Mallory says, you know, it's a bad look. I think if you don't put the up on the block, you got to put up the person that put you up on the block. You don't, you wanna, you, you wanna like, not be nominated again in the future. You got to show people that you're willing to, to strike back. And I'm not gonna lie, Mallory is kind of correct. She just shouldn't be saying it out loud to people right now because, because, you know, it's again, it's like these, these, these concepts are good to know, but saying them out loud kind of negates the purpose sometimes, but not always. You know, in this case for Mallory, at the very least, like, she's safe. And so saying that she's going to put up D isn't the worst thing in the world for her. Trying to convince other people to do it might be a little dangerous, but who knows? She's going to continue to try doing this with Taylor throughout the day, and Taylor's going to continue to tell her, basically, no, I don't want to do
Chantel Aiden
D. Well, and also, Taylor's still on the block. So, like, you know, D doesn't have as much power obviously, as she. Well, she still hasn't done a renob yet. And so, like, if, if Taylor is good with D, maybe Dee will consider putting somebody up that would have the higher likelihood that she's going to stay in the game or at least be able to beat in the blockbuster competition. So, like, yeah, I get it, Valerie. You're excited, like, you know, you know who your target is because someone came for you, so you're going to go and target them back. But you're safe. You can talk this way. Like, she's not safe yet. She's not in the clear. So maybe next week, if she's head of household, maybe, you know, that could be a direction that she might want to go in. I don't know if I'm talking to her then yet either, but the fact that she's not safe is just not the right time to be, you know, talking about targeting the head of household.
Darren Armstrong
Yeah. Devin's has an interesting conversation with Rome, and this is the first real time I've seen Devins do some work in the house. You know, a lot of the work has already Been been done so far. So it's interesting to see some work actually happening from. From Devin's at the very least. Basically, Devins gives Rome a pitch over the chessboard where. Which basically says, I think it would be good for us to work together. He really, like. It's so funny. Everyone understands that the way to manipulate Rome is to just, like, play to his ego and like, literally any. Every single person in the house. And it works seemingly every time. And so Devin's just like, you know, Rome, you know, like, you're. You're a big target in this house, and I'm a big target not because I think I should be, but because, you know, I was on Survivor, and he does his whole thing, which I assume he's been doing, which is like, you know, on Survivor, I was able to trick people, but there's nothing to trick people with in here. You can't trick anybody. And, you know, like, all of this stuff about, you know, whatever. And so the idea is, hey, you're a big target in this house. I'm a big target in this house. We need each other. And I feel the same way about D. Like, and. And clearly, again, Devin's and D. Have. Have told some kind of story because he refers to it like it already. Like, people already know it. Like, Rome already knows. Like, you know, even though me and D, you know, we have. We really struggle with trusting one another. You know, we understand that, like, all the big threats need each other to stay in the game and. And that, you know, that includes you. You're such a, you know, like, everyone's gonna be looking at you, man, and essentially using like, the lions and hyenas strategy, like the Tony kind of thing, and so basically pitches this idea that.
Commercial Announcer
That.
Darren Armstrong
That they should look out for one another, they should keep it on the down low, but, you know, try to. And it's. It was so funny, too, where, like, you saw that the. The different ways that Devins has been pitching conflicted with one another because he's been telling everyone, like, man, nobody's talking with me. Like, nobody's coming to me with anything. Which is in some ways is true. Nobody outside of his grouping is really doing that. But. But of course he has his.
Chantel Aiden
His.
Darren Armstrong
His group. So when he's talking to Rome about, like, you can go to your people and, like, you know, try to convince them, like, to keep me around and, like, let me know if they're saying anything, and I can go to, you know, if. If people do end up coming and talking to me at Some point, then I'll maybe hear something and then I'll be able to pass it along to you. And, and Rome throughout all this is like, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's a good idea.
Commercial Announcer
Yeah.
Darren Armstrong
I like this to the point where Rome then responds by saying, yes, this is a great. And listen, I'll tell you this. So me and Yash, we did this, I did this with Yash early in the game. Like we bonded really well and then we're like, hey, we should not hang out and like make it seem like we're not close. He tells to Devins. And then what happened was like, like people were like trying to convince me that Yash was coming for me. People like, you know, like Chuck was trying to tell me that and you know, and so like, and Devin's is like, I, I think because I was doing the same thing. Devin's is like, okay, so you're saying yes, like you like. And he's like, yeah, yeah, like you, this could work really well. And like, and then Devin's kind of tries to pivot and be like, yeah, like I could see like if people try to tell me, come up to me and be like Rome is doing a certain kind of thing, then I can like know that like, oh, they're trying to turn us against each other. And so an interesting proposition. There's clearly a lot of this going on. Again, there's like a lot of base level of like a lot of people recognizing that having a down low alliance member is useful to them, them but actually making it work, actually maintaining that connection is the real test. So we'll see if this actually goes anywhere. But it was pretty interesting.
Chantel Aiden
It was interesting and like I, I like this duo. For Devins it would be, it'd be, I, I don't know though if I could trust Rome. Like the fact that he just divulged that information about him and Yash to Devin's who he's not specifically working with yet. And I don't even think he realized that, that he kind of gave some additional information that he didn't need to. You know, he might not be the best ally, but I do think it will help Devin's not be targeted by, by Rome. I just don't know if they, if they're gonna work that well together.
Darren Armstrong
Yeah, it's, it's just, it's wild to me how much people talk. It happens every season and, and I get it but like people just love to explain what they're doing.
Chantel Aiden
I think what people know, how smart they Are and how well they're doing and, you know.
Darren Armstrong
Yeah. So a few more conversations. Mallory talks to Melody and she's like, why? Taylor won't say she's willing to put up D. And Melody's like, great. We should really be separating, though. We should really be separating. Angela talks with Taylor a little bit. Angela is sort of the. The resident mom comforting people a lot of the time. Angela is trying to comfort Taylor a bit. Taylor tells Angela that if about the renom. That if defaults the same logic about the groupings, that she should nominate either Barrett or Ashley. And. And so the. The night kind of moves on. We eventually get a conversation between D and Lyric, and Lyric being one of, I think, the potential, in my head, one of the potential options for nomination. I was interested to see this conversation. It seems as though Lyric actually has a pretty good relationship with D. Didn't really know that too much. And they're like, oh, they love each other. And D promises Lyric, she is not going on the block. She's not going to be nominated whatsoever. And. And it felt not like. Like, I am rendering your judgment now. It felt like, obviously you're not going on the block. And so Lyric in return is saying, like, and don't worry about Mallory, because if Mallory wins hoh, I will talk her out of putting you on the block. And this. This really clicked in for me. I was like, yes, Melody, Lyric and Mallory were. Were told that they were in a trio. Mallory was put on the block. Melody's response was, I need to distance myself. Lyric's response was also, I need to distance myself to some degree. But. But Lyric didn't go around telling everyone about that and instead got to a point where Mallory then won the veto and is now able to use her connection to Mallory to say, hey, I am good with Mallory. I'm close with Mallory, and if you're worried about her, I can influence her to keep you safe, to keep you good. And that's way more valuable than somebody who has distanced themselves from that person. That doesn't do anything for me. If Melody was close to Mallory and was talking about how she can influence somebody who is now winning competitions, who is now potentially coming after people that you. You care about, that I can help influence those people or this person. That's what's valuable. But that's not what Melody is.
Chantel Aiden
Yeah, I'm curious. So why, like, because she's, you know, a game show host and she's a gamer. We are assuming that she wouldn't see Mallory, especially being the Winner of the veto being an asset. I was very surprised that Lyric was able to even to think to use this. I don't really think of her necessarily as too super game savvy, but I thought it was very smart to. To use Mallory as an asset here and their relationship as an asset moving forward because we know Dee's not going to have power next week. We know that Mallory is saying to everybody that she's coming for D and rightfully so. And so it's super smart of Lyric to be using Mallory and their friendship to protect her relationship with D. And I'm very surprised that Melody completely doesn't see this at all.
Darren Armstrong
She's just way too focused and it. It feels like she's just got. It feels like she got the ick, you know, with Mallory, she was just like, oh, like Mallory's just always on her, like, talking to her all the time, and she's like, I just let me do my thing. It's like she's like her, like, little sister. So leave me alone. Let me be my friends. Oh, my God.
Chantel Aiden
I don't want you to, like, represent me.
Darren Armstrong
Yeah. So there is a. There is a shift, though, here. As the night progresses and we're going to talk a lot about, like, the renom here. I'm going to try to lock down the Renam and we'll. We'll start to wrap this up. These early updates. There's a lot to get to. So Yash, Lala and Taylor have multiple conversations through the night. Yash, of course, and Taylor are the two people left on the block for sure right now. Now they obviously have incentive to, like, work together against whoever the Renam is and try to work together to also influence who that Renam could be so that the two of them can remain as safe as possible. And so again, Taylor has been pushing this idea of Ashley or Barrett and that leans more Ashley than Barrett. But Lala, remember, doesn't like Melody and is actually starting to push the idea. What about Melody? Melody might be a good renown because nobody likes Melody. Melody. Yash also pushing the idea of Melody as a renown because he also thinks that Melody can be a good person for them to go against. And Taylor starts to come around to this idea as well, as she starts to realize Melody might be easier to beat in a vote than Ashley. Ashley is more well liked than Melody and by the end of their multiple conversations, they've kind of agreed to pitch Melody to D. And, and this is interesting, of course, because, you know, there Taylor had been Pushing the Ashley plan and, and she's, you know, not many people are pushing that now. They plan to push Melody. So that's where they are. That's Yash, Taylor and Lala.
Chantel Aiden
Now can you remind me, I don't know if you'll know off the top of your head, who was Melody was in which group? Group for the returnees. Like who is she?
Darren Armstrong
Yash, Melody, Jason and Lyric.
Chantel Aiden
Oh, okay, okay.
Darren Armstrong
In these group.
Chantel Aiden
Okay. Yeah, yeah, it's, it's hard with like, with the people being safe. There's just so few people and so I'd probably want to go for Melody as well, but. Okay, sorry. I just wanted to remember who was in which group.
Darren Armstrong
Yes. Oh, by the way, it's an interesting thought I had about the grouping stuff because. What? Because Lyric talked about it. Multiple people talked about it, Taylor talked about it and I thought. And Mallory talked about it too. The reasoning that D used and I, again, I don't know how intentional this was, but it, it turned out to be really interesting and obviously not a repeatable strategy. But basically because there are only four people in each group group and one of those people was safe, these logic of nominating one from each group just sectioned off all of the players. So each person she nominated went, damn, I was one of three people eligible. So like, you know, for Mallory it's like, oh, it was me or Kamu or I don't remember the other person in that group but like it was just me or two other options. And so every single person that was nominated by D doesn't think there was a whole pool of 16 people. And I was the one that was individual individually singled out. It was ah, I was one of three people and she chose those two people over me and nobody else was even eligible for that spot. And that significantly changes the equation of how you look at D for having nominated you, if you believe her reasoning, which they do. So that I think has been a significant part of why they're not blaming D nearly as much and part of why Mallory is one of the few people that does because she's like, like ah. But he could have and should have nominated Kamu, but didn't. And that means they're working together and I want to nominate them together.
Chantel Aiden
I definitely think that that is why Taylor isn't super mad at D. Because yeah, I think that she just is like, oh, like she had to choose someone and almost like giving her some sympathy, being like, you know what, you know, I don't want to make her feel bad about her decision. And so yeah, I think that actually makes a lot of sense.
Darren Armstrong
Sense.
Chantel Aiden
I. I really, I can't wait to actually to hear whether or not she did this on purpose because I do think it's pretty smart to not look like, oh, I chose you out of like the whole lot because like, whatever reason I don't like you or we're not working together whatnot. So yeah, if it's strategy, like that's like pretty top tier.
Darren Armstrong
So Chuck, Haley, Devins is in this conversation as well. And Camus, this is like red corner minus D plus. Devins are having a conversation about the Renam and Chuck mentions that Lala is Rome's number one in the game. They really see Lala and Rome together, which is interesting because I haven't seen them really talk game. But they are really heavily linked together in the house. And so the idea is pitched. Lala would make a great renom. So, so this is now so lyric off the board. He's not putting her up, but Lala still potentially on the board as a Rome ally. And the Kamu, Haley, Chuck group is starting to like this idea. Lala on the block makes a lot of sense. It helps weaken Rome to some degree. And also Lala is really well liked now. Lala would not be the target in this instance. In fact, Kamu's been thinking, you know, if Yash stays on the block, we might want to take Yash out. And so a fully separate thought process leads to the same conclusion, which is one we expected would happen. Now Haley, Kamu and Chuck are agreeing. Yash might be a good person to take out if he stays in the block. Devin's in this conversation of course agrees. He also has had this thought. He agrees with this idea. And so now that grouping as well is now looking at Yash if he stays up.
Chantel Aiden
And if I'm not mistaken, Drew even also had this thought. And so I'm like, this guy, he doesn't have any idea that the walls are closing in on him. I mean we have. He has some time still to come around. And obviously depending on who is he sitting beside, he has quite a few conversations with Taylor or long conversation with Taylor about like who potentially should be sitting beside him. And Taylor's also talked to other people about like who would be best for both Taylor and or herself and Yash to be sitting beside. And so Yash is in deep trouble. So there's not that many people that he could sit beside that he might stay with.
Darren Armstrong
Yeah, Yash and Taylor don't are starting to not want Ashley on the block next to him because they. They're concerned that they can't beat them in a vote. They certainly will not want lala on the block next to them. Certainly Taylor even more so. But if this group pitches to d that they want lala on the block, it just gives d more ammunition to use in the future. She needs it to quickly run through. There's a funny moment with Angela in the bathroom and the of the hoh where she goes and hides in the bathroom when Kamu comes up there with d and there's some funny camera shots, which is. Which is great. Some condoms have gone missing.
Chantel Aiden
I mean, do you have a Jerry on condom watch, too, Taryn?
Darren Armstrong
I'm not on condom. It was somebody in that houses. At one point. I thought this was funny. There's a moment Rome talks about how he can, if warmed up properly and in the right conditions, do some splits. So if you're a Kenzie fan, ter are you stay on the lookout.
Chantel Aiden
Are you watching love island this season?
Darren Armstrong
Yes, I have been on the patreon. Yeah.
Chantel Aiden
Oh, my goodness. I love a Kenzie splits reference. Thank you for that.
Darren Armstrong
So Yash tells Kamu, by the way, that he does believe D doesn't know the game. Again, Yash telling people genuinely that. That. That he. That he believes that D is doing that. And he says he's. He is understanding of her going back on, saying the group was safe. And Mallory continues to tell people she thinks Haley is behind. Behind the nomination. She tells us to bear it. Rome and Lyric, like I said, they are doing their thing. They are locked in. They have a conversation about going to the final two together, and they're like, but then. But then I'd want you to win. No, I'd want you to win. No, you should win.
Chantel Aiden
Also with Rome being like, yeah, you know, like, I want to do my bicep curls to see if, like, you're gonna, like, notice my biceps. I'm like, farting is so odd. I'm like, really? She's like, I did.
Darren Armstrong
Yeah. I mean, you got to give him this. Rome's in good shape. But here's the thing. So many of them are. I've been talking about this in the. In the premiere. They all talked about being really fit and all that stuff, and they are backing that up. They are working out all the time. Like, all day. At some, like, at any point in the day, there's somebody working out. After the veto competition, Mallory spent, like, the next, like, three hours, like, in the gym doing workouts talking to people, trying to convince them to put up D. And then later in the night, she was still doing laps in the backyard and. And the guys are working out in the morning. There's a lot of working out going on in this house for sure.
Chantel Aiden
I wonder if Jason's actually works out that much or if he's just trying to have like an Internet connection.
Darren Armstrong
He said this would be part of his strategy, but. But I'm sure he also does. Does, you know, generally work out as well. So all of this happening. So we got the. The. The red corner is looking at Lala as the replacement now. Taylor, Yash and Lala are now agreeing that they're gonna pitch Melody. And. And D has mentioned Melody as a renom. She's also mentioned Ashley as Arena, but that was two. Taylor, who was pitching it at the time. Finally, late into the night, Drew, Barrett and D get a moment alone and again, vibe shifts, like, oh, all right, we're alone finally. And they get to have a conversation. They get to talk. They are working together. They're doing really well. All of this great stuff. But the key here is that D kind of of drops an interesting thing on us, which we did not expect that. I did not expect too much. I really thought she was just telling Taylor what she wanted to hear. So I don't know if this came from Taylor's influence or if it was Dee's original idea in the first place or that something that she was maybe now thinking about a lot. D tells them she wants to put up Ashley as the Renom.
Chantel Aiden
No, I mean, I, I get it. Ashley doesn't have that many ties. I don't think she'll get any blowbacks. I think that anybody sitting beside Ashley will probably go and Ashley would probably stay. So I can understand that she, you know, it could be someone that you put up there. She didn't play in those competitions. So, like, she's kind of a little bit of like, you know, it's kind of going with like, that logic of like, one from each pair or trio or not trio, but available three or they're unavailable too, kind of. But I don't want Ashley to go up there. I want Melody to go up there.
Darren Armstrong
She's thinking. She says that she's thinking Ashley. Ashley has a bit more influence in the house than Melody does. She's. I think. I think basically the idea is the reverse of what Taylor, Yash and Lala were talking about, which is that D and Barrett and Drew don't really want the Renam to Go. And Melody would probably go if she went up on the block. Ashley, they would keep. Because Yash would, in fact, be their primary target, but they would likely keep Ashley over Taylor. And that's just. I think they. They talked a little bit about, like, they like Taylor, but they have seen her be a little more active lately and think, you know, that's somebody who could potentially become more of a threat leader. And I don't disagree with them. But. But that's. This is, you know, what the. The ideas are percolating. So what's interesting about this is that I would say, okay, D is looking at Ashley. Taylor was pitching Ashley. You know, putting up Ashley isn't really going to piss many people off. I think this will make a lot of sense. However, we now know that Taylor is. Is changed her mind and she wants to pitch. Pitch Melody instead. And so if Taylor was the initial influence that got D thinking this in the first place, if she goes back and changes her mind and pitches Melody, that could theoretically change D back over to Melody, especially if it's not super important. And Melody is the better option, I think, for Taylor to be on the block, she is a lot more likely to go over her than Ashley seemingly would be, but who knows where the actual votes would fall. So we have that. Then we also, again, have the Lala pitch. I doubt the Lala pitch will work because by putting Lala on the block, you kind of piss Taylor off and Lala and you know who and Yash will feel like by putting Lala up, you're telling Taylor and Yash you want one of them gone. Probably by putting Ashley up, you kind of get best of both worlds where you can take one of them out without pissing them off because it doesn't look that bad unless they're able to pitch it well enough while still, like, maintaining your goal. By putting Melody up, you're probably not pissing anybody off, but you're also probably just sending her home and she's not that much of a threat to you right now. In fact, potentially useful to you considering her connection to Drew. So who knows where things will go, but that's basically where we left off.

Is right. I'm actually really happy that we've talked it through because, like, I've actually understood. Like, I wrote notes, like, there was so many conversations going on, trying to remember all these names, but actually finally coming back to where we belong here to talk about the season. I. I have a lay of the land now and I know what's going on a little Bit better and it's going to be. Helped me enjoy the season even more. So thank you for everything. Taryn.
Darren Armstrong
I. I was thinking like, because usually the first few updates are more general and less play by play and I was like, why do I do that? What if I did some play by play and now like over 90 minutes and I'm like, that's, that's why. That's why we should maybe do a little more generalized to start. That's probably why. But it really, really helped. Bad idea me from present.
Chantel Aiden
I think it was really helpful though. Like, people really understand like the flow of like the. The day and how people are working together. So I think it really worked well. So.
Darren Armstrong
Yes, well, hopefully it was informative. Hopefully. Because I do genuinely think that we have a pretty decent lay of the land right now, which is pretty different from recent seasons. Like this very much so. Is feeling like a more regular again, textbook version of how Big Brother can be and should kind of be played if you want to do it well. So. So I'm very interested to see if this really like, dominant grouping is gonna succeed because they are in a very good position. Not only are they in power right now due to the first hoh, which. Which really, like, if this week actually does land in the way that it's looking, like should. Should forever settle the first HOH debate. Not that there should be really one in the first place, but. And, and. And you know, I don't want to prognostic. I don't want to like, I don't want to be like, like, too, too forward here. But, but you know, Devin's is talking about like, oh, I'd love to have us win the next HOH and really lock things in. It's like, yeah, because if they did, things would probably be pretty locked in. So they're playing well. They're playing well in there and. And we'll see where things go. So a different HOH shaking things up would be, I think, probably a bit more fun. But. But it's too early to talk like that. Let's enjoy. Let's enjoy the. The locking in first. And I think we have, like I said, a pretty solid foundation of. Of where things stand and where things might go. Yeah.
Chantel Aiden
I think what I like about it is that everybody's kind of playing from the beginning. It's. There's not a lot of people necessarily being like, oh, I don't want to lock in too early or like, you know, there's not a lot of people kind of pussyfooting around like playing the game. And I think that that's what's making it for me really enjoyable is that like I love the strategy, I love the talking, I love the conversations. Like this is what I'm here for and we're right into it right away. And so, yeah, I think this is a really great start. Really fun first update for me. And so I'm really looking forward to the rest of the season.
Darren Armstrong
Yes. All right, well, that is what we have then for today. So today on the feeds it's gonna be mostly, I think the thing to look for is the pitch to D for Melody to go on the block from Lala, Taylor, Yash. They did say not to coordinate exactly what they were saying and pitching because they didn't want to seem like a unified front there. So we'll see exactly how that goes and if that changes these mind in any way. I don't see there being a lot of defense for Ashley as much as more pushes for Melody. So that does keep Ashley as like a pretty attractive option. I think that like nobody will defend her, but nobody's pushing for her. That's kind of like as an hoh, that's usually like what you want when it comes to a target. Like you're not doing people's dirty work, but you're also not pissing people off. But we'll see, see, we'll also see what happens with the comma with the red corner pushing Lala. I really don't think that will go much of anywhere. No ceremony today. At least that's typically how it would work. So we'll just kind of see where things evolve with the replacement nominee talk. And then tomorrow morning I'll be there. I'll be here 11am Eastern. I'll update you on everything that happens. There will be an episode tonight. I think it's going to be another 90 minute one. I will be streaming Twitch, YouTube and Patreon. Patreon's the best place. My Patreon for the stream. You get to watch along with me. It's very fun. I'm also watching Love island over there. There's a couple of episodes that I. I gotta wrap up at some point for to finish it out. But check all of that out and of course we'll be back here with the recap tonight and it's gonna be a good time so check all of that out. Chantel, what are you up to?
Chantel Aiden
To what am I up to? I actually just want to comment. Someone in the chat earlier on was asking if I was on an episode of Fatal Vows. I was. It was me. The Thin Blue Line. This was many years ago. I was playing Linda Yancey, who, you know, had an untimely demise by the hands of her husband. So, yes, that you did spot me. That was me. But what I'm doing is I've been talking with Chappelle for the last little over a year about bringing me into my journey and knowledge and understanding of the world of Tiffany Pollard and Flavor of Love. So we watched Flavor of Love, season one, season two. I love New York. We just finished Charm School and we've now dived into Rock of Love season one. So I have not seen any of these shows. We've been talking about it on recap kickback and we've usually been doing Sunday School. This week we had to miss Sunday school because Chappelle is away. But we will be back to talk about episode two of Rock of Love. So it's been a time. So join us.
Darren Armstrong
All right, well, there we go then. Thank you so much for joining us today. I will see all of you

The BB28 season is off to a dynamic, strategy-heavy start, with returning icons mixing and maneuvering alongside savvy newcomers. D’s HOH reign sees strategic nominations and fake-outs about inexperience, helping to solidify alliances and keep herself off most radars. Mallory’s POV victory cracks open the week, shifting focus to the messy Mallory/Melody split and forcing the majority to weigh between keeping easy votes or making a clean break from unreliable allies. With the house rapidly aligning around power players, the groundwork for a classic power struggle is being set.
Next up: The pitch to D for Melody as renom intensifies, and all eyes are on her final decision before the veto ceremony.
