the drama, all the strategy and silliness from VO to HOH every single season, you know, he is the reason, you know, what's happening happening. Rob said that he could do it tomorrow. He will do it again. Hello, everyone, and good morning. Welcome to our live feed update for August 5th. I'm your host, John Armstrong, and I'm here today to update you on everything that happened yesterday. The big brother 28 live feeds. It was day 29 in the house, and genuinely, it was. It was a big day. It was a big day yesterday. Tons of stuff to talk about, including some vote, genuine vote flipping and. And all kinds of nonsense to get through. So with me to talk about it, it's Asia. How are you doing, Asia?
B
Hello, Taryn. This is actually my first live feed update of the season. I was traveling like crazy during July, so I'm excited to be here, excited to talk some feeds. I do have a poem to pick with you, though. Yesterday you were like, guys, the rest of the week we're gonna have shorter updates. You know, not much is gonna happen. And now here we are with a lot happening.
A
Listen, you gotta. When you do this for 10 years, you start to understand how to. To get good stuff out of the universe. You know what I mean? Okay. You just gotta. You gotta reverse psychology the. The big brother gods. Oh, man. Slow week this week. Not much happening. Tomorrow is gonna be real quick. And then they're like, oh, oh, you think so? You think so?
B
Yeah. Then you have Survivor players who have too much time on their hands, and then this happens.
A
You got me? Oh, yes. We got a long update. Oh, whoops. All right, so let's get into it. Of course, Haley, the HOH nominated Drew, Melody, and Taylor. Taylor pulled herself off the block with the veto, and she renamed Lyric in Taylor's place. So Drew has been the target since night one of Haley's hoh, and the question has kind of been between Melody and Lyric, which one may be evicted in the event that Drew wins the blockbuster? That's where things have mostly stood. Of course, there was also some drama about Lyric getting caught throwing her friends under the bus. And, you know, she's still kind of upset about that, as are Melody and Mallory, who start the day talking about keeping Drew over Lyric in the event that Mal. In the event that Melody wins the blockbuster, which is still kind of a topic of conversation. Who, like, will they try to protect Lyric or will they try to protect Drew? Melody obviously wants Drew. Mallory is A little more undecided. And she talks with Melody, and Melody is trying to consider. Keep Drew. She talks to Barrett, and Barrett's like, drew's a lost cause. We're not going to. We're not going to be helping Drew out out here. So. So that's kind of where that stands. They also talk to Taylor, and Taylor basically tells Melody what is sort of like the stance that Taylor, Yash and Lala all have, which is, we're just gonna. We're gonna vote with the house on this one. That's kind of where we are at
B
here, which is wild, because obviously when you have so many people saying the House, then you have some voting power. You may not have it all. You may not be the majority, but just. Just call it what it is. You're just going to vote with the Toolshed, even though you don't know the name. And it's. I mean, it's odd because it's just kind of like, you know what? I understand that Lyric was feeling like, okay, I have nothing else to do, so let me throw these people on the bus. I'm using the information I do have. But now she's in a position where she has no one, so she kind of looks like the more likely person. Like, it'd be most beneficial to keep her because now she's really alienated herself. So it's like, what benefit do people have voting her out?
A
Yeah, and that's. I mean, that's sort of the argument to keep her from. From the perspective of the vets. They've. They've been like. The fact that there's a little bit of distance between Lyric and her original crew now is, like, it's good for them. But of course, despite that, people in the red corner, especially Kamu, kind of want Lyric gone. I think in part because Kamu feels burned and played by Lyric having. Having so thoroughly snowed him into a direction and then sort of learning that she was kind of like, moving in in a few different ways. So the other thing to talk about, of course the other thing that's been moving through the week is when Chuck set Angela off on Yash by saying that Yash was saying Angela could go. Angela's been keeping an eye on Yash ever since. She talks to Dee about how she wants Yash out soon, like, next week. And D agrees. D also has now opened her eyes to Yash. It was good while it lasted, but Yash's position, which was the real Drew position, is now starting to. To be more out there. They also Though talk about D and Angela talking, taking a shot at the red corner soon that, you know, they, they do. Or at least, at the very least, they want a shot taken at the red corner. So sort of next in their sights, Yash, and hopefully somebody takes a shot at red corner.
B
Right. So then it's annoying because then if they do win power, which if the trend continues, we'll either see Angela or Chuck is hoh and we'll see that they put up what Yash and then some combination of Mallory, Melody, Lyric, like, keep doing the same thing. You know, as Chuck said, this is amazing tv. We love seeing the same people in power. I don't know, like, even if you're watching basketball or football, like, you don't want to see the same team win year after year after year. Like, you want to see it change up. I don't know. I don't know what he's talking about.
A
And it's, it's a producer's dream.
B
Yeah.
A
Yash himself, he's going to talk to Lyric. Of course. Josh has this sort of relationship with Lyric that he's been keeping on the down low for the most part. He lets her know, like, you're good, like, Drew is the target and tells her, like, but, but I want you to win this. I want you to win the hoh. I want you to take a shot at these people. Like, we, like, we've got this. There's just. There's an interesting set of interactions between Y and Lyric throughout the day. Yash obviously heavily implying with Lyric that he is against the red corner in this conversation. And when talking to the red corner, he heavily implies that he is against the. The other side of the house and, and really just hypes Lyric up to like be anti red corner. But that's, that's. It's not the end of that story today. There's some weird. There's some more stuff with Yash in the meantime.
B
It's funny because in the beginning of the day with the Yash and Lyric stuff is like, she's really allowing Yash to tap into whatever coaching, like life coaching that he really wants to fulfill because she knows just the right thing. Oh my gosh. Are you a lawyer? Like, you're so smart. Oh my gosh. You, you can't just be a financial consultant. As if that doesn't like, I mean, I think that takes some level of intellect. But she is like gassing him up so that he can continue to gas up so that she could win on Thursday.
A
Yes. And I think I think he means this. Really. I think he means this more than anything. I think he absolutely would like a shot taken at the red corner. Meanwhile, Drew, Melody, Barrett, and Mallory are up in the gym and they're hanging out. They're just kind of chatting, joking around. Like, hey, who would have guessed it that the last two people pulled into the room to evict Rome were at the bottom of that alliance.
B
Who.
A
Who would. Who would have known? We really need to stick around. The four of us. Drew, Melody, Bear, Mallory, we need. Drew starts going off like we're. It's. It's like the American Revolution, you know, like, screw England and like, who's. Who's our president? Who's our leader? Melody said, mall, my birthday is actually the same as George Washington's. Look at that. We have a female president. And what. What. What. What do we want? Melody? She says, well, my first order is to keep me over Drew. And he says, I'm impeaching you. That's. Nope, nope. I don't. That's not good. And Drew says, you know what? Because he's still just kind of pumping the money, you know, and I'd rather be lucky than good. I'd rather be lucky than good. Drew says. And that is an apt statement from him today.
B
Right?
A
He says, that's us, though, because the feeds drop out now. Worth noting, they've used this. This label before. They've called the. The cool kids, the fap. The ass people. But now he's like, you know what? That's us. We're the ass people at this point. That's it. FAP. FAP. FAP. FAp. FAP. FAP. Let's go. We will FAP for you, America. Vote for FAP next week. And Mallory says, I'm the pipe queen in the FAP alliance.
B
Insane work. I feel like I. I do love that they are hyping themselves up. Like, they do need some sense of, like, motivation. They need some. Some hope in this game. They need some. Somebody fueling their fire. And if they are the only ones to fully feel their fire, that's amazing. This crew is becoming funnier and funnier by the day.
A
Yeah. So that's what they're up to, you know, hanging out, fapping. And Josh, in the meantime, talks to Dee and Devins, and. And I found this interesting, especially because it precedes what comes next. Yash tells D and Devins that he has lyric. That lyric is that he's got lyric. He wants to make sure they keep lyric because, you know, there's Been some talk about maybe not keeping Lyric. Now. They already want to keep Lyric, but it's interesting that Yash is kind of willing to maybe at least a little bit expose that. He's. He feels like he's. He's got her to some degree now. Remember, they've got like this kind of wolf pack alliance going on. And so I think that Yash feels like that's the new. The new Dapper Dan's like the new real thing for him because he's dropping Drew and so he's letting them in on the idea that he's. He feels like he's made some good inroads with Lyric and in the meantime really wants to make sure that they're evicting Drew. Drew and Melody, they're basically a showmance at this point and Drew needs to go. And this to me was a misstep for Yash for sure. D already wanting Yash gone and Yash revealing kind of like where he stands. And I'm gonna say again, being so willing to drop Drew. Now Drew is, is increasingly less loyal to Yash because Yash has distanced himself so much already. But, but like Yash and Drew were like this time last week a full on thing. And Yash very much was like, he very much like Melody to Mallory in week one was like, oh, I don't want anything to do with that. Which on one hand might be useful for Drew, on the other hand, not that use useful for Yash. But after this conversation, things got much more interesting because Dee is left with Devin's alone. And she says Devin's. I. I have an idea. I've been thinking about an idea. People are always going to be putting Drew up on the block. You know, like his game is trash. Like Yash wants him out.
B
Should.
A
I mean, should we keep him like. Okay, all right, I was, listen, I was only on the update yesterday saying this reminds me of when, you know, Zach Rance was on the block, when Austin was on was like being targeted by Vanessa. And then the, you know, the, the Derek's and the Vanessa's of the season were like, wait a minute, should I be evicting this loyal soldier that has been nothing but loyal to me and could easily be a number for me and a weapon that I could use in the game. And it didn't seem like that was going to be the case. However, it apparently is the case because Dee has been thinking about this and she is soft launching, and let me tell you, will be hard launching a plan to keep Drew this Week.
B
Yeah. And I know there's been a lot of chatter about that initial conversation and Devin's like whispering to D and talking in code. So we don't. We're not sure what that is because D, like, talked into the mic to make sure that we couldn't hear what Devin's was whispering. I think, I don't think that much into it, but I feel like a lot of people feel like this decision was kind of like pushed on them. I do genuinely think that they don't. They, like, Dee had this, like there was too much time on her hands. I do genuinely think that Dee started to think like, okay, maybe this is something we should consider. And I, I don't know. I'm not into the conspiracy of it all. I really don't think what Devin's whisper was that important.
A
So there's two separate moments that happen. One is that Devin's sort of response to the idea of keeping Drew by saying, you know, I've wanted to have this conversation, but I do need to, like, ask. I, I don't know how to word this. She said, you can tell me anything. Not about you. Oh, I, I see what you're saying. No, no, it's fine. And then later, he feeling like that was not adequate, seemingly he just in the middle of their conversation goes in and just like, I just need to make sure. And it feels like if you didn't hear me just do that. It sounds as though he's saying, I want to make sure the doctor didn't get in your head. And she says, yeah, I get what you're saying. Not an issue. Is essentially her response. So people have of course been like, oh, the doctor got in her head.
B
Yeah, right.
A
What she says is, you know, well, first what she says is when she said, I get it. She said, I understand it's not. Not always best to feeds cut. And then later when she says like, no, she says like, it's easy in the game to have your eyes set on one thing. So. So listen, I can tell you my perspective on this. Obviously, we don't know what we don't know.
B
Right.
A
It's actually like, Asia, you played Survivor. So this is fully, fully me saying this right now. But my understanding, having never played Survivor and having no relationship with anybody who is on production of Survivor is that Survivor is. Is a little more heavy handed when it comes to, at least in comparison to a show like Big Brother. That is my, my experience of, my understanding of it. Survivor is an edited show. They have a little more free reign when it comes to talking to the contestants and opening their minds to things, Big Brother less so. There's live feeds. They get caught. They. They get caught real easy. And sometimes there are people who feel as though the conversations in the diary room have introduced them to new ideas. Sometimes they feel like things were pushed on them, but. But. But never, like, in a literal sense. Never. Never overtly. Right. I've never heard that claim from Big Brother. Even the. The most like, anti production Big Brother contestant will be like, yeah, I felt like they wanted a thing, or I. It seemed like, not. Hey, just so you know, Drew's really loyal to you and it might benefit your game to keep him.
B
Right.
A
And so. So it's not surprising to me that Devin's, who has been on Survivor twice, D, who's been on Survivor twice, and the challenge, which I would assume quite frankly is even more hands on, would be more wary of this kind of thing than your average Big Brother player, because Big Brother has to be even more hands off than those other shows. And that Devin's would be like, did. Is this a you thing or a producer thing? That's kind of more a Survivor question, in my opinion, than a Big Brother question. And D is like, nah, it. That wasn't it. At the very most, like, she's maybe realized something when talking in the diary room could theoretically be her answer to this. But that is purely. This is purely my opinion on this. We ultimately don't know. And. And it ultimately doesn't really matter in the sense of, like, is this happening or not? Because Dee now has this idea and. And. And Devin's is, at this point, not super sold on it. Also worth noting that, like, this is an idea that does make sense. That, like, if you are. If the vote is approaching and you're thinking about the vote and you're starting to realize all of the things that we've been saying for the last, you know, four days. Drew is a loyal number. He still believes in you. He still hasn't realized that you're not with him.
B
Exactly.
A
He is useful to you to go against the red corner, which D and Angela were just talking about this morning. We hope somebody takes a shot at the red corner, and then all of a sudden you're thinking, wait a minute, why are we getting rid of Drew, who will take a shot at the red corner for us and be a shield in front of us. There's plenty of reason to believe that this is a thought that she absolutely could have come up with on her own as well. So that's that's my piece on. On the diary room stuff. Bottom line is Deep pitches this to Devins. He is, I would say, again, not super down for the idea at first. And before they can really continue this conversation, Drew interrupts them and. And starts, you know, campaigning for Lyric to go.
B
Yeah. And it is. I mean, to all of those points, I think what this proved was how easily they could get everyone on board to vote throughout. And so in that case, like you said, it makes sense. Like, no one. That makes no sense to get the man out that everyone so easily would vote out, because that also means that's taking up one of the three chairs when those people win. Hoh. And so it felt it was good timing, actually, for Drew to come in at this moment, because now the vibes are going to be better. Like, now they have it in their heads. It's just natural. Like, if you can't stand somebody, it's very hard to just be like, okay, hey, how you doing? Like, there's no there. There's a. Like a. An air about how you're feeling internally, no matter what you're saying. So the fact that they have switched gears, Drew comes in, it's like, all right, things are pleasant. They can continue this. This. This ruse of, you know, they're still making the decision. They're still at this point trying to decide if they want to keep Drew. If they don't, they still need to bring Angela, see if she's down. But the vibes are better, and they can now kind of envision Drew in the house in the future.
A
Yes. And. And as he comes in, it's actually, in many ways, he says something that really exemplifies everything that Dee was talking about as he comes into this conversation, because he ends up chatting with them for a while, and he starts talking about his mom and his dad and his parents and what they thought about him going on the show. And he. He says, you know, my mom and dad were telling me that, you know, it might be tough for me because there might be somebody like Angela in the house who hates me. And then Angela herself walked in. Like, they said, somebody like Angela. And then Angela herself walked in, and she's the nicest person ever. It's like, maybe listen to your parents on that one. Somebody like Angela does actually hate you. It's not great. It's not great. But that level of obliviousness from Drew to Dee and Devin's in that moment genuinely helps support these argument.
B
Right. Like, if. If this were the office, D could have looked at the camera, like, hey, look, support it. Support. This is supportive evidence right here.
A
Yeah. D also drops in this conversation after Devin's leaves. She says, big brother harder than Survivor. Oh.
B
But in the same breath, it's really
A
funny that you're on this update with me.
B
I know, but it's like, in the same breath, saying, oh, these people are so dumb.
A
This is so easy. Funny. Yeah. It's funny. Especially for her to say that, given that she's been sort of, like, handed one of the comfiest Big Brother positions of all time.
B
Yes, exactly.
A
In the meantime, Lyric continues to do her thing throughout the day, talking to people. A lot of lyrics shtick here is like, I. I was forced to name people. I hope America doesn't think of me as a villain because I've. Because I've thrown people under the bus. I didn't even mean to. I'm so sorry, Mallory. And it's. It's a long conversation that they have that she has with Mallory. Yash is there. They talk about the situation with Haley and what Lyric should do and who Lyric should talk to. Yash again tells them that Drew is the vote here. Drew is the target, so don't worry too much. And then he also does a thing where that I. I don't think Lyric liked, which is that he. He says, like, hey, you can learn. Just learn from your mistakes. Lyric that, like. Like, for instance, because they're talking about, like, what should she say to Haley? You know, should she pretend to be all, fine? Should she pretend like, everything is good? And Yasha's like, no, like, you should show that you're. You should. You should be against those people. Learn from your mistakes. With what happened with Rome, where you, like, pretended to not be with him, but then you actually were with him. Like, you know, you don't act like you're not friends with your friends. And Lyric was like, whoa. Like, hey, the situation with Rome was like, she. She got a little, like, defensive about this. I feel like she did not like what Yash was. Was telling her here. And this combined with a D conversation later is. It's possibly put a little bit of a strain on the Yash Lyric relationship.
B
He went too far. He was in the right spot of giving this advice. Right. And not making it seem like he was in this, like, powerful position or he was doing better than her. And then you bring up the past, you bring up when you were, you know, thrown off by this, like, fake breakup, and then she's stuck beside him and all this stuff. Stuff. And it's just like, what are you doing? She actually did like Rome did. Did the kiss not prove it? Like, that was actual relationship. She's just flirting with the rest of y'. All. Y' all will never be Rome in. In her eyes.
A
So D is going to pitch to Angela the plan to keep Drew, and she says, listen, I just feel like there's. This is a potentially interesting idea. Haley put him up. He hates Haley. He's going to be coming after the red corner. And Angela. Angela, who you'd think would be the biggest, like, no. In this. She's the reason Drew is in this position. She's been anti Drew from. From week one. She says, we do know his game, but how do we do it? How do we do it, though? Because they say, she says, like, I don't want to strain my relationship with Haley or our relationship with the red corner over keeping Drew. They're all set to take Drew out. It's not worth messing up what they've got just to keep Drew around. And, And. And D is like, yeah, I get that. You know, it's not a today thing. It's maybe like a last minute thing. They keep doing that last wait to the last minute, wait till last.
B
That's like a. That's the right before tribal feeling. Like that. That's when things get real.
A
So true.
B
Right.
A
That's where it's coming from. Although Drew also talks about it way too much. But yes, I, I think. I think that's where Dee gets this. She doesn't. She. Maybe she's learning, but like Big brother, it's a lot actually easier to make things happen earlier than later. So Deed continues to make her points, though. She says, really? Like, the reason we were mad at Drew was because he was trying to keep Mallory, but that was just him going to bat for his people. And he sees us as his people.
B
Like, right.
A
Like we're not, but like, he doesn't know that.
B
Yeah, exactly.
A
It.
B
And. And that's fine. As long as it's like, you're my best. I'm your best friend. You're not my best friend, but I'm your best friend. It's fine in that situation, especially in this game. As long as he values y', all, y' all can hang on to him a little bit longer. There's no reason to dispose of him this quickly.
A
Yes. So Angela is halfway on board. I would say she's open to the idea, but. But is worried about how. What the costs are. Is this an expensive move to make given that they'd have to convince Red Corner to keep Drew around. Now, personally, my feeling at this point, I've said it all week, whatever Dee and Devins want, they will get. I don't think it costs them much to flip the Red Corner's minds back and forth. Not to mention the fact that nobody in the Red Corner really cared about Drew in the first place. The only reason they do is because he and Devin's talked them into it. So talking them out of it shouldn't cost that much. Although you do need to worry at one point, at some point about, like, how often am I rooting around in their brains before I start doing some damage. Right? So.
B
Right.
A
That was my thought.
B
At this point, we've only gotten three people out. Right. So it's only a matter of time that you start to think, why do I even think this in the first place? Oh, because I was having a conversation with Dee and Devins and I started to feel like there has to be a point where people start to compare notes. And I think it's so early and they've been so effective in doing it so far that I think, you know, day 50, you know, we start getting down the line, that's when people may start to realize what has been happening, how these ideas have been birthed into their minds.
A
Yeah, it's. Any time you do something in the game, it also costs something. But you just. The ideal, you know, thing to do is to do something that costs little and gains a lot. And so, like, Lyric, we've been talking about, has been spending a lot of capital to try to keep safe over the last few weeks. She keeps coming going up on the block. She ended up spending so much to gain so little. So little meaning, like, I mean, yes, coming off the block is a lot, but it's a lot coming back from a negative. Like, she's deep in the negatives, and then she's gaining to, like, come back to somewhat neutral and spending a ton in it to get there. So, like, she's now reached a point where she doesn't have anything left to spend. Everybody's caught on to what she's doing, and she's. She's still set at, like, zero or less than zero. And so that's terrible when you're in. When you have a ton of power, it's. It's good. It's like real life. It's good to spend your capital because you get a lot in return. The rich get richer. Unless you are, like, a degenerate that spends like crazy and doesn't stop and spends all of the. All you have. That's like a poly right in 18, where he was, like, in charge of that house, but just couldn't stop spending capital, do anything and everything he wanted at any given moment. So the concern from them at this point is, is the spending too much? My opinion, nowhere close that you're spending pennies on the dollar to convince the red corner to do things.
B
As a finance guy, he would.
A
He would.
B
Yeah.
A
Kamu, in the meantime, still wants to evict Lyric. He talks to Yash about it, and Yash, of course, doesn't really want that. Yash kind of argues against the Lyric play. This is not, like, super meaningful throughout the day, but, you know, worth. Worth pointing out, Kamu also is going to have a conversation with Drew later in the day where Drew's pitching for the Lyric idea, and Kamu is like, yeah, I mean, that makes sense to me. But. But at the same time, like, Drew pitching for Lyric to go and is. Is almost counterproductive in a way, because part of the reason to keep Lyric is that she doesn't have as good a relationship with Drew as he does with Melody. But at the same time, it's not like he's fooling anyone. So ultimately, none of this really matters.
B
The problem, though, is he's. He's not yet in a. Like, he does not yet realize that he is not at the point where he could be pitching who to go. He needs to be pitching himself to stay.
A
I mean, at this point, his delusion is his greatest asset. And so the more he acts in line with his delusion, the better for him.
B
So if he learns that they wanted him out, does that make him more of a. I guess. Does that increase his likelihood of leaving this week? Because now their cards have been shown.
A
Yeah, it's. It's. It's. This is. This does occasionally happen. I talked about this on All Stars. It's funny. It usually happens in situations like this where there's a steamroll happening. I talked about this in All Stars where I was like, it's actually better for, like, Davon to not figure out that she's on the bottom of this group right now than for her to know, because the more she questions them, the more they want to push her out. But. But that, like, you know, then she's throwing competitions and, like, come on. But. But it's the same. It's. It's really. It's like, you know, Drew is shooting the moon right now, right? Like, he's. He's he's playing in, in the way where he's trying to get all of the negative cards. Because he gets all of the negative cards, he wins.
B
Yeah.
A
It's like he's been, he's been getting a ton and he's been playing terribly, and without even realizing he's going to shoot the moon, he's playing so badly that he's. He's managed to. To hit the jackpot. I've. I've reached peak delusion. And because of that, they are now gonna. I would not recommend this for anybody to play the game with. It's. It's incredibly variable. This is way too many variables and, and all kinds of things. You're completely just relying on, like, ah, I'm not gonna tell you. Be delusional going into the house, you can act delusional. If Drew was doing this on purpose, I'd feel a lot better about it. But unfortunately, he has reached that state.
B
Yeah. Yeah. It's, it's, it's wild that that has actually helped him in this scenario. And we only have two more days, so I think it's very likely that we could get through Thursday without him knowing that that was ever the plan. And, and, and then in that case, he's still in a great position in his mind. He can still start doing some, some wild things. If he gets hoh. Start doing all these, like, start just. He. I mean, he feels like he's playing with house money. That's the thing. He feels like he's part of the rich getting richer, but it's just like, no, that's all Monopoly money.
A
Yeah. And so we, we genuinely are in a place now where like, all week long we've been like, dude, see what's happening. And now if he actually saw what was happening and said something to the wrong person. Ruin him.
B
Yes.
A
Which is interesting considering what happens later in the night. So D talks with Angela some more, and they talk specifically. Earlier in the day, they were talking about they want a shot taken at Red corner. Now they talk specifically about who in red corner. They want the shot taken at Kamu. They want Kamu gone soon. So, like, on their radar. Yash and Kamu are pretty much the top two people. Kamu's too good at competitions. He's even good at bags. Like, he's, he's just too dangerous a player. They want Kamu gone. Then Devin's joins them and they move over to the gym and they start talking about the Drew situation again. And it's so funny too, because D tries to, to Use the thing she's going to use later. On the red corner on Devin's and D, where she's now pitched them both individually the Drew plan. She opens the conversation going, so, what's the plan, guys?
B
Yeah.
A
And Angela's like, you tell us, D. You're the one who came up with it. She's like, okay, yeah, yeah, yeah. And so she pitches them on. She says, this is what I've been thinking. Like, do we all agree that Drew. Keeping Drew could potentially benefit us? And Devin says, I do waver on this. He talks to Yash after their conversation. Yash was very anti Drew. He says, drew holds so many of our secrets. Like, he's such a wild card. We could just, like, take him right off the board and never have to deal with that. And Angela's like, guys, I feel uncomfortable. I need to go back to the hoh from. Haley's gonna be looking for me. And Devin's is like, why she cares so much about Haley. Like, I'm so. I feel like she's closer to Haley than us. And D says, no, we're good. Don't worry about Angela being closed. It's not a problem. The vouches for Angela. Devin's then talks more with D about this Drew idea. He says, at the very least, we need to separate Drew and Melody. If we were to keep Drew, that means we need to take out Malady. And she says, I'm really thinking that keeping Drew is the play. I really think that he. He's a. He's a target in front of us. He's loyal to us. He never realized that he's not putting us on the block. He's putting the red corner on the block. And Devins is like, you know what? It does sound like fun. I. I'd be down. I'm down. I'm. I'd be down to do it. And she's like, well, I don't. I can't. You need to agree with me. I. This. It can't be all on me here. He's like, no, it's all on you. You know, if. If this goes wrong, then, you know, it'll only. It's only ruining an opportunity to change my family's life. And, you know, it's totally on you. No, no, no, no, no. And so they're still joking around about this. Angela joins the conversation again, and. And she's like, so what. What are we thinking? What. What's the. Is that. Have we reached a conclusion? And Devin's like, we're just. I Mean, it's kind of silly because we're. We're like, we convinced them to take out Drew. And now because D is saying it bothers me that taking out Drew is playing their game like it's benefiting them more than it benefits us, which is what I've been saying all week. And Devin's is like, we're the ones that convinced them to do it in the first place. So, like, we convinced them to take out Drew, and now we're like, oh, why are we doing what they want? Because you shouldn't have convinced them to take out Drew in the first place. That's. That's why. That's why Devin.
B
Yeah, it. The. These. These three. I mean, mostly Devin's in and D. Because. Yeah, I mean, Angela is actually getting closer to Haley. I think that's a valid concern from Devins that Angela is spending so much time with Haley that it is becoming that, like, Devin's look, you only told D about your power, and that was for a reason, because the relationships that are forming, you are. You already have this established relationship with Dee. It's only getting stronger. And Angela is kind of like. She does feel this allegiance to Haley this week, which obviously would completely change next week if Haley ended up on the block. Like, I think they would completely separate themselves or Angela would separate herself from. From Haley. But it's always interesting because it's like they're like Destiny's Child, where Dee is Beyonce and Devin's is Kelly Rowland. Then Angela's Michelle. Like, you want her there, she's there. She's a valid contributor, but she may just sing the hook. She may just be a part of the chorus.
A
There you go. I fully.
B
You fully understand right there with you.
A
Yeah. So Angela's. They ask Angela's opinion, she says, well, Drew is the snake. We all know, but I don't see a lot of positive. I don't see a lot of positive for keeping Drew. And so they continue to talk about it. The feeds cut for a little bit, and when they come back, it's clear that. I thought this was really interesting, especially from D, because I think this is what really locks it D in more than anything else. They've been talking about Survivor 50 and. And specifically these decision to vote out. If you don't know Survivor 50, I can't, unfortunately, give you, like, the full context, but basically, D was in. In an alliance with this guy Charlie, and Charlie really wanted Rizzo out. There was a little bit of a feud going on, and she. Rizzo was like, new to her alliance, like Rizzo. They swapped onto a tribe with Rizzo, who was there, like, as a solo player, whereas Charlie was, like, in the alliance she was already a part of. And she decided to side with Rizzo and vote out her alliance member Charlie because she just felt a little sketched by Charlie, essentially. And then that turned out to sort of, like, be a pretty big mistake. Rizzo was not as loyal to that. To her and that group as she would have hoped. Losing the number in Charlie was bad for her in that sense. And then it also kind of pissed off some of the other people in the alliance, and it was a whole big thing for her. And so there she's talking to Devin's and, like, she's like, oh, my God, Drew is my. Is my Charlie. Like, and she's literally like. Like, oh, my God, I can. I can correct the mistakes of my past. Like, I can go back and fix Survivor 50 by keeping Drew like, this is the. And Devin's is like, I'm still not sure, though. Like, he was part of helping with this analogy while then immediately being like, I'm still not sure. That's like, this is the thing, though. And so. And Angela still is not fully supporting it. Angela says, well, if. If you're not sure, you know, listen, I like to think that things play out the way they're supposed to. If he wins the blockbuster, then he was meant to stay and we go along with this plan, and if he doesn't, then maybe. Maybe that's it. And so ultimately, the conclusion is never fully reached, at least on Angela and Devin's part. But I think on Dee's end, this analogy in particular was like, oh, I really want to make this happen.
B
And locked it in for her. Because the irony of Drew calling himself the big brother Rizzo, like, since the beginning of this game, and now in these eyes, he's the Charlie. It's so funny how the. The crossover is more than just the casting. It. It really helps to have seen both and have knowledge of both shows does.
A
So that's. That's where they seem to stand for now. It's still very much up in the air. D then spends a long time talking to Lyric, and it's a very strange conversation. It's a very forward one with the. As she's starts talking to Lear, Lyric is, like, asking for advice on, like, what to do, because this. She's just doing her normal thing. And D starts going, like, just so you know, you're still an option as far as I'm Being told. And Lyric's like, oh, my God, like, what do you mean? And Lyric is like, but I'm. I'm not coming for, you know, like, Haley or any of them. Like, I don't want. I don't want to do that. Like, she's doing. Playing that angle with dude, what she thinks D wants to hear. It becomes pretty clear that that's not what Dee wants to hear. That D, like, Yash, actually wants to angle Lyric against the red corner. And she says, you should. You should really talk to Kamu and Haley, make sure that they don't. They want to keep you. Because she's essentially warning Lyric that Kamu and Haley are trying to pitch that she leaves, which is true, and continues to sort of, like, point her at the red corner. She even tells Lyric, you should tell the red corner. Not the. They just say, you should tell, you know, Kamu and Haley that you're coming for me. She's like, I would never say I want to come after you. She's like, no, trust me. Do this. And, and. And like, again, very forward, especially to Lyric, who has been shown that, like, she's very much willing to throw anyone and everyone under the bus for things that they're saying. In my opinion, a very dangerous conversation for D to have. I think that she was kind of riding the high of this new plan that is still not quite locked in yet and is just kind of like. Just kind of like, went and did something. And I don't know if this is the thing to have done, but. But she did it.
B
Look, I think that Dee believes that if Lyric is going to actually choose someone to ride with, it could be her. Because even in this conversation, she tells her, look, look, if you say anything, I'm. I'm gonna be pissed. I'm gonna say, like, I basically showing her, don't turn on me because you don't know what I'm capable of. And the fact that she was so open to someone who hasn't held anyone's secrets, it's a risky play. But of everyone in the house, I feel like it can work for Dee because I'm just imagining Lyric going to the red corner to spill what Dee said. I feel like she would be afraid to. To say it. Like, I don't know if she would have the guts to be. Like, Dee said this because this was a very intimate conversation. Like, Dee and Lyric were very positioned. Like, hey, we're here. I'm locked in on this conversation. They were very close. They were, like, low key whispering and it felt like D bringing her in, and I feel like that it was fostering this, like, hey, we're tight, and we can continue to be tight. You listen to what I'm saying. It was a very different approach than like, when Lyric was talking to Yash all day.
A
Yeah. I mean, on paper, it makes sense, right? They plan to keep Lyric, and Lyric is one of the few people on the board who has theoretically a better relationship with people like Chuck and Kamu than she does with. With some of the vets, and that's not good for them. So if D is able to pull Lyric to make sure that Lyric is more siding with the vets than the red corner, that's good for her. I think she just maybe bit off a little more than. Than necessary in one conversation, because I think, again, like, she was just kind of, like, riding the hive, like, doing stuff. But. But it's. It's probably. Let me be clear. It's almost sure. Almost definitely fine, like, as long as Kamu doesn't win HOH next week or like, as you know, because the shot is likely going to be taken at the red corner soon, and so there's no reason to rat her out in any sense like that. That. So, like, pulling Lyric is. Is probably gonna work, but definitely risky.
B
Even her comment like, what. What is Haley the president of Big Brother? Like, come on. It was enough for Lyric to be like, okay, maybe she is with me. Maybe she actually is looking out for me in this moment. Maybe this is the start of something new, since the Lyric literally has no one at this point. So it's like she's. She. She reached out to the right person, especially with them thinking about keeping Lyric. It was just an extremely risky play. But D is not afraid of risk,
A
and Dee's gotten away with this exact thing before. She's trash talked Haley in week one, and I was like, this is risky. And then it never went back to Haley. So I think that also kind of emboldens her here. There's another clip that's going around. There's a moment on the feeds where there's some screaming heard in the background that sounds like an intense fight. I don't have any additional information that. That. No. That nobody else has on this. To me listening to it and. And also, like, seeing the sort of, like, the feeds afterward and like, the interactions that people were having. It. It certainly didn't seem like the house was in a state of. Of like, post screaming match, you know, like. Like. Like damage. Like, just like, it's hard to Even, like, there's like. Like, Yosh. Like, you better not. Like, it's like people are screaming. I think it was just. I think they were just joking around. I think they were just joking around. I don't think it's a big thing.
B
I thought so, too, until I saw that conversation in the HOH later where Haley was like, yeah. Then Melody told Lala, what are you gonna do, hit me with those nails? And so I was like, what? Like, was it Melody and Lala like.
A
But, like, it was like, I'm. It was like a dude screaming at y'. All.
B
Exactly.
A
You know what I mean?
B
So it's like, yeah, that sounds like. Okay, that doesn't feel related. Or maybe there was this, like, hey, we're annoyed with each other. Things get awkward. And then whoever was yelling, like, just blew it up to try to make it, like, to bring levity to the situation, because feeds were down for a little while after that, after this, this yelling. But it doesn't seem like it impacted the house in any way.
A
It doesn't seem like it. There's always a chance that there was something actually going on here. And quite frankly, I think the feeds cutting is, like, the most evidence for it being something, which is counterproductive production. But. But my guess is that it wasn't something just because, again, it didn't feel like there was any. Like, nobody was talking about it afterward. Nobody was, like. Like, acting super weird. So I. Ultimately, who knows? That's kind of. That's kind of where we're at. If it. If it ever ends up mattering, we'll know, you know, like. Like, if it. If it impacts the strategy in any way, we'll probably get a sense that, like, okay, maybe there was a fight that happened, but it. It seems. Seems like nothing for now, or at least not worth really, like, speculating too much about.
B
Yeah. If. If it's worth anything, they're gonna show it on the episode.
A
Yeah.
B
Which would be tomorrow's episode, since it was after Veto.
A
So Lyric is talking to Mallory, and this is where. This is why I was thinking, like, you know, between her conversation with D and the interaction with Yash before we brought up Rome, she's telling Mallory that. She says she doesn't trust Yash, that he's, like, too close to the other side and he's too much of a floater. Like, as long as the other side's in power, he's always going to be working with them. He's too much of, like, a floater in that sense. Now we know that Yash has been telling her that he wants her to target the other side, but tellingly, he didn't say he wanted to win hoh and target that side. And so I'm. I'm wondering if she's kind of like, again, because I kind of said, like, the two of them coming together is a little bit June and Allison in the sense that, like, they were both floaters who were trying to work both sides coming together, working together to do it. But the thing about June and Allison is they hated each other and they were really upset that the other person was doing what they were trying to do. And I do wonder if Lyric is like, oh, Yash is doing what I'm doing, but better right now, and that's annoying. And on top of that, when Dee talks to her about, like, there are people saying your name and people, you know that, like, essentially the Kamu and Haley might be trying to get you out. I think that Lyric might be worrying that, like, why isn't Yash telling me this? Like, why is Yash telling me that the Target is Drew and I'm not getting any information from him now about, like, what's happening with Kamu and Haley? And so I think she's thinking, genuinely, I'm not sure I can trust Yash with those people. So just trying to. To. To continue to parse out where exactly this relationship stands. I do still think it's a great relationship for the both of them. I would hope that Lyric and Yash are able to trust each other because I do think that they can really benefit from each other. But. But this is. And she might just be saying this to Mallory as well, but who knows, right?
B
Yeah, it. It is interesting because if you think that you are in similar positions, but then you have Yash saying, well, Haley didn't nominate me because she really likes me, then y' all aren't in similar positions. So, yeah, I think today will be very telling about where they're going to go, because is he going to be honest about the. The plans changing if he has been fully filled in?
A
Because. Because Kamu did tell him that, like, Kamu did pitch for Lyric to go to Yash, but that was after his conversation with Lyric. So there is a chance that Yash will give her a heads up at some point today, as you mentioned, and that, you know, maybe that would help alleviate some of her concerns about Yash. Who knows? There's. Melody's gonna spend some time up in the gym. She's upset about just situation and how, you know, she's on the block again. She's gonna either be evicted or probably lose Drew. And here's Lyric, who gets to stay, probably, and got caught doing all this stuff. And nobody's even that mad at her. And she feels like if she had done all that stuff, then people would be really mad at her. And Drew is working to comfort her. They have, like, a moment. They have many moments. I would say that, like, the. The Drew and Melody thing, I. I've said. I've said it all along, that I believe pretty strongly that there's something there, but that neither of them are, like, like, diving in. They don't really want to. On television, there's situations. She's got a situation. He's like, I think, fairly recently out of a relationship. So, like, they've been a little hands off. But with the impending eviction of one of them, very likely, I think that, like, there's a little bit of, like, extra, like, trying to hold on, in fact, like, some hugs, some, like, other stuff, like, stuff continuing. I would say if somehow they do both survive the eviction, I think that this experience will have brought them much closer than they would have been otherwise. But it's not looking great for them to both survive the action.
B
I like this type of showmance that's this slow burn. You know, there's feelings there, but we don't have to hear, like, the kissing noises because they're not kissing. We don't have to hear the baby voice because Melody's not there yet. I think it is. It's kind of cute because it's just like, hey, they. They do. There's. You can catch these moments of, like, how Melody's looking at Drew when he's not looking at her. And even when he had his arm around her, comforting her, the way he was looking at her was, like, really sweet. Really, like, just precious. I'm like, wait, you do actually like her. You. You. You're catching. You're catching feelings. And even just, like, the subtle, like, before they went to bed, or he was already in bed, he gets up to give her a hug, and then it's like, oh, are they going to cuddle? It's like, no, they're not there yet. But, you know, we're kind of just riding things out. We know that there are feelings. And even that conversation in the. They had a conversation in the kitchen with Lyric, where Lyric is like, I hate it when, like, you know, you want to do something, but you can't because, like, you know, people are watching. And then Melody's like, are you talking about us? Like, no, me. That was. That was hilarious. Because it's like, oh, Melody can read that. That. That's exactly what's happening with her and Drew.
A
So a lot of that's going on. But while that's going on, or at least part of it, the red corner holds a meeting up in the HOH room, minus Camu, who is, as per usual, skulking around with his hood.
B
Yes.
A
Not joining the meeting. And. And so they're just kind of chatting. And. And you can tell, like, D is just gonna, like. Like, part of the reason that they've been holding back on this Drew plan is that they're worried about how difficult it will be to convince the red corner. So D starts throwing out some. Just some thoughts. Right? And. And Devin's joins in throwing out the thoughts, basically just kind of running through the options again, because they're talking about Lyric is Lyric. Lyric versus Melody. Lyric is a better competitor, but they think that she's more easily influenced to not target them. Melody, worst competitor, but would definitely target, like, three there. Her three nominees or three of them, 100%. And you never know. Competitions might be random. Melody might win something that is more dangerous than Lyric. And so they keep hammering that point home while also talking about how oblivious Drew is and how, like, Drew actually wouldn't nominate them. Not in a way that is advocating for Drew, just in a. Like, oh, well. So, like, the thing about Drew is that he'd probably throw competitions and wouldn't nominate us, but he's so sketchy. We're obviously voting out Drew. Lyric, she's more likely to win a competition, but less likely to nominate. Nominate us. Melody, she's less likely to win a competition, but would definitely nominate us. And Devin's seeing what D is doing. He gets in on this as well and throws out some points, essentially just like, laying the case out there and then waiting to see if anybody bites. And. And Haley. Haley bites. She goes, well, like, why are we not. Like, why not just vote out Melody then? Like, if this is the logic, why are we. Why are we keeping Melody at all? Wouldn't we vote out Melody over Drew if we're gonna keep Melody over Lyric, or, sorry, if we're gonna vote out Melody over Lyric because Lyric is more likely to win but wouldn't target us. Drew wouldn't target us either. So why are we evicting Drew over Melody if. If we're. If we're not evicting Lyric over Malady, and. And Chuck is like, well, no, we're voting out Drew. We have to vote out Drew. But D goes, hold on. Can you explain yourself with that? Can you explain that thought some more, Haley? Well, yeah, I mean, essentially, you know, Drew's. Drew doesn't know that we've become. I never even said Drew is my target. So, like, he's. He's actually not going to nominate us. But. But. But Melody definitely would. And I'm not scared of Melody, but. But it. But based on, like, the logic that I'm hearing, it kind of makes sense to just evict Melody. And he's like, damn. What? Damn, girl. Like, you're smart.
B
It's too easy for D. It's too easy.
A
And so then they start latching on, like, okay, well, what would this mean? Should. Does that mean we should keep Drew, Haley, and. And the dominoes start falling. And. And again, Devins gets in on this, I think, because he just finds it fun. But he does actually push back a little bit. Angela also pushes back a little bit, but by this time, he's got the train rolling. And. And the idea of potentially keeping Drew is making a lot of sense. And. And they agree, especially if we vote out Melody, then Drew doesn't even have anybody else. Like, he's gonna come to us even more. And it is. It was. It was just. It was very funny to watch. It was very funny to watch D, especially the way that D was just, like, playing in Haley's face was. Was really, really funny.
B
And. And. And it's. It is. It is masterful. Like, it is. It is very impressive to see how that was totally the intention and it worked like Chef's kiss, right? But then it makes you wonder what's going to happen in the future when Devin's and Angela start to think, is she also doing this to us? Like, is she implanting these thoughts and ideas in our head, too? I think what will truly be telling is when this side has lost power, right? And when we see, like, some combination of a Mallory, a lyric, Melody, whoever stays, if they're in power. And Dee is able to continue to do this even when not being their, like, number one ally, that will be just. That'll be incredible to watch. But I also am just, like, now we're getting. We're getting to see all the different sides of Dee in power and being in power while not even being hoh. I also want to see, like, what that looks like playing from the bottom and how, you know, she's able to navigate when she is actually put on the block. Or at risk of being put on the block. That'll be very telling. But just for the trajectory. Trajectory of the season, I would love a power shift next week, but I don't know if that's actually going to happen because this side has so many numbers. But yeah, that. That was gold to watch.
A
Well, D does, I think, do a great job later, where she celebrates with Devin's and. And in part with Angela. Like, we did so great. That was so easy. I love working with geniuses. Like. Like, because Devin's did join in and Angela did join in, they just like, you know, obviously this was Dee's thing and De's doing, but. But I think Devin's was like, I want to get on. In on this fun. And so Devin's feels like he started. He did some of it too. And also, like, you know, pulling them in and getting them excited about how easy it was and how fun it was has sort of locked them into the plan too. Like, oh, yeah, we did do that. That was fun. Like, that was a good TV moment. Like, now we're on board in a way that they weren't before, where they were pretty hesitant. So Red Corner has decided Drew stays against Melody, against Lyric is still up in the air at this point for Red Corner, at least. So. And D and Devins had initially said we. They would not keep true against Lyric. So that is still, even by the end of the night, kind of like not locked in yet. That's. We've got a whole day today to kind of figure that one out. But in the meantime, they still hate Drew. Yes, Angela in particular. As they watch him on the cameras once he's done comforting Melody walk around Andrew's just like, he wants to come up here. I know he does. He wants to come up here so bad. He wants to come up here so bad. He's. I know he's going to. Oh, my God. And Haley's like, I feel like he's your crazy eyes. And then he does. He. He ends up. She was right. He ends up coming upstairs. And just as they're about to leave as well, like they're about to leave. And for no reason at all, they start hiding. D goes to the bathroom, Angela hides, and Haley tells Devins hide under the bed. And so Devins just gets behind the bed and Drew walks in. He's like, oh, I thought there were people up here. He was like, nah. Like, oh, okay. And he starts to continue to walk in, starts to walk around the bed to where Devin's is currently crouched and Haley's like, oh, can you just. I just actually want some time to myself. I'm feeling. Feeling a little. My tummy's feeling. She's been farting a lot. This is true. He's like, oh, yeah, that's chill. Do you know where Devin's went? I think he's in the doctor. Okay. And so he. He just. He leaves. And then they, like, Devin's gets up, and Angela comes out and comes out, and they're just like, why did we do that?
B
What was the point?
A
Wait, how are we supposed to leave now? Like, Devin's is supposed to be in the doctor. Where am I supposed to be? Why wasn't I here? Hold on. And. And Haley's like, I just thought that's what we were doing. And he's like, I was just going to the bathroom. Don't. But this is not on me. And. And she's like, I kind of feel bad. And Haley's like, hey, D. Hold on. This. I was telling Angela this earlier. Where is it? Box of Cheez. Its. This is a cheese. I'm not even joking. And so it was very fun. They're just like. They just. They're just, like, blaming each other for the idea to hide. It was so. Such a stupid thing to do.
B
And then.
A
And they're like, do you think he noticed? Do you think he saw? And Angela like, checks like, oh, my God. Could he see? Could he see? No, I don't think he could see Devin's. And. And genuinely, what we talked about before, like, if his eyes open, it's bad for him. If he had caught them doing this, they might have changed their minds and been like, actually, it was too late. Too late right now we got to vote him out.
B
They also were annoyed that he didn't knock. Can you believe he just walked in?
A
Even knock, like, oh, my God.
B
Oh, gosh.
A
Yeah.
B
Yeah. That's why I think we're. We're one. One mistake on Drew's end that he doesn't realize is a mistake. Like, kind of like shades of Ashley. Like, he does something that he's thinking is going to help his game, and that's going to flip this vote back to always being Drew unless he wins Blockbuster.
A
Yeah. God forbid somebody who is supposed to be in your alliance doesn't knock when he comes into a room that he expects to be full of people, because obviously, you're all up there, you know, but. And then Andrew's like, should I. Should I just say I was gonna scare him? Should I say I was just gonna Scare him anyway. They all disperse. Nothing is amiss. Everything's fine. Haley talks to Kamu. D joins the conversation for a while as well. This becomes a very long conversation. Later, basically, Haley explains what just happened. Hey, I was thinking, why not keep Drew that I was having. We were talking. I just. I had this thought that, like, if Drew's not coming for us, why not just keep Drew? And Kamu is. Is pretty quickly down for it. He's. He's. He is a. He's a little bit skeptical because he's been turned against Drew so much, but he's like, you know what? That kind of tracks. He was just talking to Drew about Handyman again. And. And again, Drew is trying to pitch Lyric to leave. And so he's like, that's. That kind of works for me. But only if we evict Melody, because if Melody's gone, then Drew would be closer to us and he'd have nowhere to go. So that'd be good. And it's genuinely. Would be very good for Kamu's game if he can actually real Drew back. And he spent like a week and a half distancing himself from Drew, so he doesn't have that kind of pull anymore, but he could always get it back because he has that Handyman alliance. And so, as I said, it becomes like a much longer conversation. They talk more about end game plans. Haley talks about how much she loves Angela and she talks about Dee and how emotional Dee is. She was just having to do the cheez it thing with her because she's so emotional. And, you know, she introduces no ideas this D. She always just agrees with everything I want. You know, she has no. No thoughts of her own, which was just so funny to hear.
B
You could. You couldn't write this. You like it? It's. It's. It's wild because that. And I wonder if she would feel this way if she weren't hoh. But it's funny because she is hoh. She got the itis the moment the key got in her hand. And so it's like, is this just part of her delusion of, I am in control of the house, so I'm also better than every single other person. But it's just the red corner is just so easily manipulated. And I actually don't think Chuck would be if he weren't a part of those three. Like, there are shades of, like, Chuck thinking for himself at times, but he says so little most of the time that you're just like, it just. He seems like a non Factor a lot of the times. But if he weren't a part of the red corner, I do feel like he would be thinking for himself and
A
stand on it at least more than Chuck and Haley. I think Chuck and. Sorry, Kamu and Haley. I think K and Haley are so easily manipulated. I think that Chuck is less so, but because he's casted his laden with. With K and Haley, like, he. He finally kind of follows them along. So, as I said, Dean, Devin celebrate. D later talks to Barrett and lets him know, hey, we were talking. Sounds like we're actually gonna keep Drew turns out. And Barrett, who has been prepping Mallory for Drew leaving for days, is like, oh, okay. I mean, I'm down. I guess. Like, that. I guess that works.
B
Barrett, stand up. What do you think this means for you? You are getting told at every turn what's happening, and then you're getting told things change, and you were not a part of it. It's just like, I want him to have some agency in the game, and it's working for him because he's not a target. He's not. He hasn't been on the block. Like, it's working for him to last, but I just don't know how far that gets him when it's just like, oh, yeah, y' all just. Y' all just tell me what's going on, and I'll be fine with it.
A
I mean, hey, at least this is good news for him. I mean, this is good for his game.
B
But if. And that's what's so, like, concerning with Drew is like, if your number one person, it was aware that you were going to go, and he didn't even decide to be like, hey, man, it's not looking great, then that's concerning.
A
Yeah. So the rest of the night, it plays out. It's a lot of, like, Drew and Melody and Lyric and hanging out. Melody and Lyric, in particular, spend a long time late into the night chatting, bonding, you know, kind of some necessary bonding because the. The relationship has been a bit strained, but. But it's nothing like, too. Too big here in general. They. They just talk about, like, loving each other and how they're gonna stand by each other if Drew's gone and Melody is upset if Drew leaves. And I think that, like, that's something that obviously Lyric can relate to in some way. Not. Not a showman, so.
B
But.
A
And. And they talk about Haley and the mean girl stuff and. And all. All of this stuff, but it's again, it's like, you know, there's there's nothing too. Too much here with. With all of them. It's just like Melody just loves to stay up late. I think at this point.
B
Yeah, she's had a rough day emotionally, so you would think she was ready to just go to sleep.
A
Yeah. So that is. That is pretty much the day here. As I said, the. The. The vote has now flipped. Drew stays against Melody, but. And Melody also leaves against Lyric. Melody is now in a position where she is evicted in any scenario that she sits on the block unless she wins the blockbuster. Melody leaves. The question becomes, if Melody does win the blockbuster and it's between Drew and Lyric, what happens there? That has not, in my view, been fully resolved yet because Dee is really attached to this idea of keeping Drew, but she also, of course, has worked on Lyric quite a bit. There's been talk from people who don't make decisions about how obviously they would evict Drew over Lyrics in the event they were keeping Melody around. But. But no real resolution again, in my eyes from Dee herself about what they would do now. D and Devins did as I said. They said that they would still evict Drew over a Lyric because they would need to evict if. If. If they're going to keep Drew, they need to evict Melody. That's probably what it's going to land on. But again, with all this momentum of keeping Drew and the excitement of keeping Drew, it does make me wonder if Dee is gonna want to keep Drew in any scenario because she's so excited about the move that she just made. And, like, the idea of keeping Drew becomes more appealing. There's a world where she then also wants Drew to stay over Lyric, but that's a harder sell and she might not even want it. So. So that's kind of the. The thought process there. Melody winning the blockbuster is definitely the biggest kind of, like, roadblock to. To, like, the plans that. That they want to. To make the most part.
B
Yeah. So it. It is really interesting that it's coming down to the blockbuster. So excited for that. Even though the. These house guests aren't really making use of that time after the winner is announced. I think it'll be interesting if this is the first time they start, like, really scurrying to try to figure out what is going to happen or if they're going to lock it down in those final moments before tribal. I mean, the Thursday live eviction as it is in D. In Devin's mind, shout out to Taylor, who we didn't talk about much today, when she just yelled at the top of her lungs. Today is only effing Tuesday because there's. There's so much time in this house. But, but, but. Shout out to Taylor. Who is. Who is. We're part of the same sorority, so shout out to her. I didn't. I didn't find that out until recently. So I was like. That's why I was like, there is a personal connection there. I felt.
A
It did feel like it was a Wednesday. It really did. I was looking at, like, literally just today. I was looking at the day and I was like, oh, today's Wednesday. There's a whole other day of this. So we'll see what happens with this upcoming vote situation. We'll see if the Drew flip even holds at all, because again, there's a world where he says the wrong thing and this whole thing collapses. And. And that's. That's about it. Again, heading into next week, there is a lot of momentum to take a shot at Camus, Haley and Chuck. And I fully expect that that is a thing that is coming here, especially with the vets now even less concerned about winning and protecting them in any way. So. And. And less concern about the, like, if they have Drew, if they take out Melody and they think they have Drew locked still, and they think they've got Lyric, and, you know, really the only other person they're worried about at that point is Mallory. They're a little concerned about Taylor, but that's more of a long term threat in their eyes. So I think they'd happily kind of drop and let somebody else take a shot at Red Corner. They might want to take a shot at Yash. That could be a thing that happens, but, you know, it. There's a. Like I said, there's just a lot of momentum, a lot of momentum against the. The Red Corner people. And. And we'll see where it goes.
B
Yeah, we got. We. The. The. I mean, you know what? I'm not gonna speak it, because if you speak it, it happens, clearly. But there's only one person I don't want to get hoh next week. So we'll see what happens so that some shots can be fired.
A
All right.
B
But, yeah, fun day.
A
