Hey everybody, what's going on? Rob Ciceronino back here to talk about another veto Wednesday on Big Brother. And we will talk about everything from we had a fun veto competition and an interesting vote shaping up for this week and I'm excited to talk about it here tonight with somebody who did such a fun pop in on the slop this week. Of course, it's the great frail Mary. Mary, how are you?
Chappelle
Surely I have no idea what you're talking about.
Rob Ciceronino
Yes, okay. It was definitely not a Etsy witch yesterday.
Chappelle
Yeah, definitely not. But you know, was that my first time being someone who wasn't A Big Brother houseguests. I don't know. It's very exciting, though.
Rob Ciceronino
Very exciting.
Chappelle
You gotta channel the Etsy Witch, of course.
Rob Ciceronino
And it's such a reunion, of course, because we're on the slop every week with Chappelle. Chappelle.
Mary
How are you, Rob? I've had such a hard week.
Rob Ciceronino
Hard week.
Mary
Yeah.
Rob Ciceronino
Yeah. I gotta be honest. This.
Morgan Pope
This.
Rob Ciceronino
Haley. Hoh. It's been a hard month.
Mary
It's been a. It's been the longest part of all time, but it's okay. I wore this black shirt to match my black hair.
Rob Ciceronino
Yes.
Mary
And, you know, so I think I'm ready. Yeah. I think I'm ready to come. I'm bubbly, I'm fun, you know? Whimsical.
Rob Ciceronino
Whimsical. Yes.
Mary
Yeah.
Rob Ciceronino
Yes. I loved how much the edit was just putting it every time she said, well, what a hard week it's been. What a hard couple of weeks it's been. How. How tough this experience has been. I. I love. I loved it so much that I. I feel like the edit is having fun with Haley,
Mary
Haley and Melody, because every time you cut to Haley saying something, you got to cut to Melody being like, oh, I hate her so much. Yeah. So if this is making the stock rise on anybody, I'm a big Melody fan after this episode.
Rob Ciceronino
Yeah, of course. So we'll talk about everything from a night where, like, the nominees were laid out, and we had a very fun veto competition that we'll talk about here tonight. And. Oh, wait, hold on.
Morgan Pope
There's.
Rob Ciceronino
There's somebody at the. At the podcast door. Let me see. Let me see who it is. It's. Wait, it's the host of the veto competition.
Chappelle
Look at that. More.
Mary
God.
Morgan Pope
What's up, Morgan?
Rob Ciceronino
How are you?
Morgan Pope
Oh, I'm fabulous. I'm actually even better because I didn't get poisoned, actually. Offer me a drink at one one point, and I'm really glad I didn't accept.
Rob Ciceronino
Yes.
Chappelle
Now I have to know what were the logistics of your time travel?
Rob Ciceronino
Yeah, I know. I was worried they were gonna leave you in the 1700s.
Morgan Pope
I was scared, too, for a moment. But then I realized that, like, I was able to, like, come back with everyone, which was great. It's like, I don't want to be around all these other dead people. Like, this is. This looks bad on me. I look like I did this. Like, are you trying to frame me? You know, so it was really good that I got to come back, made it safely, obviously looked fabulous while doing it, so I loved it.
Rob Ciceronino
Yeah. Incredible job. So fun to see you back on the show. How are you doing overall?
Morgan Pope
I'm doing great. It was crazy because the last time I was in there was on finale day for my season last year. So it was so weird to come in. It was also really cool to see them, like, literally freak out. Like, I thought Taylor was going to tackle me. I'm not even going to lie. And I was loving it. She, like, stormed over. Angela, like, scooped and swooped me around, and I was like, this is so cool. Like, I was. I feel like I was more excited to. To meet them and see them as they were for me. So it was just kind of one of those things. I think about it, you know, in the episode of Friends when, like, Ross and, like, they're all, like, dancing and celebrating and screaming together. Like, that's what it kind of felt like for me. So it was really cool.
Mary
Yeah.
Rob Ciceronino
All right. Well, Morgan, I know you've talked about how it was weird to see these people living in your house. Was that so weird for you to come back and see these people living in the place that you knew so well?
Morgan Pope
Totally. Especially, like, waiting to, like, walk in and, like, seeing. Just knowing that I'm entering a space where everything is just so confined for them. And I'm like, like a real world person. It's kind of funny thinking back to, like, my experience. Like, when I saw Casey come in, for example. We're like, a person. Like, it's like, obviously it's like Casey, but it's also like, a real person. Like, oh, my God, we're seeing somebody new than the same people we have to deal with every single day. So it was really fun to. To go in and have a seat. I mean, I told them. I was like, it's kind of crazy. I was just watching guys on the live feeds. Like, I was literally sitting in the back just like this, watching the live feeds before they got me. And so I was like, I was literally watching guys in the live feeds, and I'm like, in here with you. It was so cool, though.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
I loved it.
Rob Ciceronino
How hard is it for you not to slip up and say something about that they don't know? Are you worried about that?
Morgan Pope
No. Like, I feel like it's pretty. Like, it's pretty easy to be neutral and just kind of like, I remember I was, like, sitting at the table, like, wait, like, waiting for the instructions and just kind of like, looking around the room and not trying to make any eye contacts. I didn't want someone to be like, she Looked at me three times. Oh, well, she only looked at me once, and, like, she must hate me. And I'm just like, okay, let me just be cool and stuff. But I obviously did, like, exchange glances. I just tried to be very neutral and on my best behavior. So, yeah, yeah. Imagine I went in there and just blew everything up. That'd be terrible.
Mary
I mean, it couldn't have been me because I would have grabbed Drew by his shoulders and just shook them like an Etch A Sketch.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
What are you doing?
Morgan Pope
Yeah, no, it's. But it is really funny when you, like, me going in there and, like, looking around and seeing, like, oh, I know something you don't know. Like, you're sitting next to your enemy or you have no clue you're being targeted. It's kind of crazy. But it's also fun because I felt like I had, like, several dirty little secrets, which is always nice.
Chappelle
Yeah.
Rob Ciceronino
You know, I had seen that you did refer to Mallory as Pipe Queen, and they seem. They seemed happy that that made it to the outside world.
Morgan Pope
Yeah. What's so funny about that? So essentially how it happened is, like, in between. I'm trying to. I'm going to share as much as I can. Right. So in between rounds, there's, like, as I always say, like, in the thing, like, oh, like, by random order, this person's first so on and so forth. So when. When we were getting ready for the second round, they were all, like, cheering everybody on, you know, like, and then they were like, they're like, let's go, Pipe Queen. Whatever, whatever. And so I made a joke in my earpiece to production being like, oh, like, what if I called Mallory Pipe Queen? And Kamu, who was close to me, and, like, I think Lyric and Yash heard that, and they're like, call her Pipe Queen color Pipe Queen. And I didn't, like, address. Like, I didn't respond because obviously, like, I was talking to production. So I think that just kind of, like, went down the line of, like, oh, they. I heard them call her Pipe Queen. Therefore, I'm saying yes, like, you know, as a joke.
Rob Ciceronino
Right.
Morgan Pope
So I find it funny that it kind of all started from. From that. But, I mean, I did tell them I watched live feeds, which is where we all know her as Pipe Queens. So, sure, I didn't think I really leaked anything crazy because I literally sat them at the table and was like, yeah, I watch live feeds. I made it very clear that I
Rob Ciceronino
was like, but what a thrill when you're using. It was like, when Megan The Stallion came to Love island and talked about Kenzie do the clam slam. And they were all so excited.
Morgan Pope
No, totally. I mean, I remember watching the feeds, and I. I got tagged everywhere. Everyone sent me, like, you know, things. It's so cool to hear them kind of, like, geek out and be like, oh, my God, Morgan was here. Like, I heard that Taylor was saying, like, I just want Morgan to crown me. Like, it's just cool stuff like that where it's like, me. You guys are all talking about, like, me. So crazy icon. It's crazy though, right? It's kind of wild.
Rob Ciceronino
Yeah. Morgan, can you remind us in The Big Brother 27 version of this competition where. Where they first had it, did you participate? Did you. Can you remind us who won this competition?
Morgan Pope
Yes. So I was the host of this competition because I remember I had hosted a previous competition, but I only, like, read off numbers. And so Vince was the hoh and I was like, vince, please. Like, I haven't got a hosting job. Like, let me just. I know I can do good at hosting. I do this in the real world sometimes. Let me do that. And so I got to host and Mickey got to win, and so that was really special. I did talk about it in some of my drs, but I didn't think it would make the episode because it's. It's not. It's about them and not about my experience.
Chappelle
Yeah.
Morgan Pope
But I did share that in there in case they were to have used it. But it was definitely really special because it just brought me back when I got to crown Mickey, when she won the veto. So, yeah, definitely will always have, like, a sentimental value, and maybe if I'm lucky enough, I'll be able to host it every year.
Rob Ciceronino
Yeah. You should be the permanent host. This.
Morgan Pope
I think so too. I think that's a great idea. I'm gonna tell them that.
Rob Ciceronino
Yeah.
Chappelle
Because how do they get mouth homing thing? That's my question.
Morgan Pope
So I don't believe I'm allowed to share. Although at the same time, like, I've personally never done it myself because I've been a host for both of them. So I actually have never even been behind the scenes. Like, I mean, I've seen the area, but I don't even, you know. But my lips are sealed.
Rob Ciceronino
Yeah. How do you think you would be at this competition? Because you're such a good reader of people, and if people are lying to you, I feel like you'd be really good at this.
Morgan Pope
I feel like I would do pretty decent. I feel like Someone like Taylor, though, I mean, like, she was stone cold. Like, like watching the episode because for me, I'm looking at people's backs per se. Like, I can kind of see a little bit, but like, when I'm watching it, I can actually see people's facial expressions. But like, Taylor was so stone cold. So I feel like on certain people, like, that it might be a little harder, which is where I feel like engaging and like interacting is more important. Where I feel like other, like house guests, we didn't really see them, you know, engage because you want to see is someone shaking is, you know, like that's kind of how you have to play it, I think. But I feel like I would do pretty decent. Yeah, like, I'd be okay.
Rob Ciceronino
Taylor really was so good at it. She seemed to be the only person who was like asking follow up questions and wanting to gauge the reaction actions of everybody. And she really, I thought, was a such a strong player at this.
Morgan Pope
Yeah, I, I wasn't sure who was gonna win. I actually had. I thought that either Melody, Haley or Taylor was gonna win just because I think in the house, they're the ones that typically have a better poker face compared to Mallory and Drew and Chuck. But I, at the end of the day, I was really hoping for like an underdog to win because I was like, just something that gives some sort of shift. Please, Anything. So hopefully that continues. Maybe Taylor started a trend to kind of get something going for this Thursday's hoh.
Rob Ciceronino
Knock on wood.
Morgan Pope
Fingers crossed.
Chappelle
Yeah, I know there theoretically is some strategy to this. I'm not going to say there's not, but there's like, would we classify this as a crapshoot? Because it really comes down to like, what the other person against you is going to pick. Like, you don't have a final say in
Rob Ciceronino
round.
Morgan Pope
I think it can. I mean, maybe. I think, for example, like, Haley wasn't picked in either round, so she was always the one who had to read the person and not know. So I feel like that's more of like the crapshoot end of it is like you end up not getting picked. But I think in general it is a 5050 and like, I feel like once they hit the table, that's where you have to like turn it up. Like, are you going to ask questions? Are you going to try to get a read on something? Like when I was listening to Taylor, like, she had pretty good reads on how people were even just standing. Like, I guess Drew would step back or something like that. And I was like, oh, that's interesting. Like, you know, some people have different tells.
Rob Ciceronino
I thought that Taylor did it so perfectly, especially that first round where she was with Drew, and Drew gave her the thing, and she said, okay, I want to switch. And then she was able to read him. And I guess that she did say that he's a pretty easy person to read and that she could tell, but nobody else was really doing that. Nobody else was really sort of, like, peppering the person with questions. They're sort of like, here's your drink. Okay.
Chappelle
Yeah.
Morgan Pope
I feel like even on ours, because, like, my season, obviously, was the first person to do that, and they do instruct, like, yeah, like, you know, have fun, go back and forth. I think they were a lot more mobile as far as moving back and forth. And once they got to their person, I think it kind of reminded me of my season where I think some people are just afraid to maybe do that or maybe they don't want to take up too much time. But one thing I always think about, I'm like, they got all the time in the world.
Rob Ciceronino
Yeah.
Morgan Pope
Like, you know, you can negotiate for an hour if you want. I mean, I'm sure they'd probably, you know, be like, okay, like, what are we feeling? But, you know, I mean, I think in general, there's, like, people like Mallory, for example, who I think wears her emotions on her sleeves, that I think she was probably just a little nervous to do that because she maybe didn't want to mess up and didn't want to get read. So she was just like, I'm just gonna hand it and hope for the best. But, yeah, maybe as the seasons go, we'll see a lot more interactions and exchanges. I think that'll be fun.
Rob Ciceronino
Yeah, for sure. How long did people have to lay on the ground and pretend to be dead?
Morgan Pope
Oh, the whole time. So, like, once Mallory was down, she was down the whole time. And, like, literally, when, like, you see us, like, going into, like, the house, like, they were still out there.
Rob Ciceronino
Yeah.
Mary
So the competition is so long on the show. How long would you say it lasts while you're out there? Because it's like, 45 minutes of our episode. Morgan.
Morgan Pope
Oh, yeah.
Mary
I just can't believe they laid there for that long.
Morgan Pope
Yeah, it's definitely long. Like, we were definitely out there for a couple. I would probably say a couple. I mean, I would like to say a couple hours, but, like, I don't know what time I necessarily went in because I don't have a watch, and I didn't See what time I left. But we're also having so much fun that, like, it's like, you know, time flies when you're having fun. So I don't actually know, but I would like to say if it was like a 45 minute part portion of the episode, it's safe to say maybe around two hours, maybe something more. But I think it's also because, like, you know, Haley and Taylor were two people that like and Melody all had their lives out of the first round. So it's like, well, obviously there's me three people. But like, you know, I mean, it's just like naturally going to be that way. But yeah, Yeah.
Rob Ciceronino
I really want to give a compliment to Big Brother in that the costuming that they've done on the show in the last couple of years has really been just light years ahead of where it is to the point where even the people who aren't in the veto competition are like in the full, you know, masquerade ball attire. And that's really incredible, the, the amount of work that goes into that.
Morgan Pope
Yeah, I mean, they've always been so great with their, with their costumes. I mean, like last year we all looked like we were going to like just some sort of like, gala. And so this year when I saw my costume, like in my room, I was like, oh my gosh. And like, I was like the hips and everything. I felt so royal and fancy. It was, it was so great. And we had like the masks and stuff. It was like really easy to get into character or at least feel like it. But yeah, the costume department always slays. I love the costume department.
Rob Ciceronino
Well, I mean, they do. Now. The issue is that it was definitely not that always Whatever they did.
Mary
The first Buff Me A video is back in like Big Brother 5 and they're just standing around a poker table being like, so what do you like in a woman? Am I telling the truth or am I lying? You know, that was it. And so. So we've come light years away from that. Totally.
Morgan Pope
I feel like even if you think of like BB Comics, they used to just have a shirt that said like BB Comics and now they actually give you like the cape and the, you know, the stuff.
Mary
So. No, totally.
Morgan Pope
That's funny.
Chappelle
When I saw the a picture of Haley on the live feeds right after she won HOH before we saw the episode, I thought that that was announcing that she had won the Lord of the Latrine. And I thought that that was what the outfit was. Oh, that's so true. It looks a little Blue hat and stuff. Yeah.
Morgan Pope
No, that's so right. That comp was great. I actually loved IHOH Comp. That was really fun. We did. We had a version on my season, too.
Chappelle
Yes. Yeah, that's a. That's been a new one that I think has been fun. The. The dollhouse one. Yeah.
Rob Ciceronino
Yeah. It seemed like that everybody was also having a lot of fun in the peanut gallery, making comments. I did think that Yash was a little out of pocket when he. He said to Allah, he said, this attention is thicker than your hips, my lady.
Morgan Pope
I didn't even hear that when I was. When I was hosting that. That was so funny. Yeah. I think what's fun is, like, obviously, production wants you to really get into this, like, this. Even though this is a show and your life is on the line for $750,000, like, you want to have fun. I love that they kind of, like, really got into it. It's. It's really great. Like, even when. When Drew died, I like. Because obviously they can't show everything, but I was like, you know, panicking, and I was like, devin's go check.
Chappelle
Go check.
Morgan Pope
And, like, he runs up, and that's where you kind of see him, like, checking, and that's when he looks, and he's like, he did, like, it was. He did. It was so good. I. I just really enjoyed everyone kind of getting into it. I think it's more fun for the players that are watching because, like. Like, you know, we saw Taylor, like, she was stone cold locked in. Like, she was not about to get into no type of character, except I'm about to make sure everybody dies, and I'm winning this veto, which I respected.
Mary
So.
Morgan Pope
Yeah.
Rob Ciceronino
What was the energy in the house when you went in?
Morgan Pope
Oh, it was electric. Like, I was not. I don't know. I wasn't really expecting anything. I was just excited to get in there. I was like, oh, my God, if I could move in right now, I totally would. But then, like, that would be cheating because I know everything. But I was like, I couldn't wait to get in. Like, when they did the first doorbell, they're like, okay, we're gonna ring it a couple times. Then, you know, whatever. Everyone will kind of, like, get towards the front door. And I was just like, I just want to barge in there. I want to go in there. But it was so electric. Like, it was so loud. I'm trying to remember everything. I just remember Taylor bursting over, like, Drew jumping up in the air, Angela coming over, and everyone wanting to Be like. Like, it was just. It was very electric. I mean, even it's weird because, like, when. When you're. When you walk in, it's exciting and everything's great, but then you also know, like, this is a game. And so, like, obviously, there's. You know, when we're waiting for the table to move, it moves. I was like, oh, my God, it actually moves. I thought that was just something that happens on tv. It's definitely moves. And I feel like once the. The veto started, like, you can definitely sometimes cut tensions with the knife. You know, you can feel it in the air. Especially when it was like, Haley versus Thicker than Drew.
Rob Ciceronino
The hips.
Morgan Pope
Exactly. Thicker than the hips. Like, that was crazy. Like, the Haley versus Drew. I was like, oh, this one's. This one's interesting because obviously, as a viewer and a live feeder, I know exactly what's at stake for everyone here.
Rob Ciceronino
Mm.
Morgan Pope
And it was just wild. It was crazy.
Rob Ciceronino
Okay, so you were there, and it was Saturday, and it was sort of in the midst of the mass pandemonium around who had the power. Was it maybe Drew? Did he have a coin? Was he not using it? Were you at all trying to deduce whether or not Drew had the power when you were there?
Morgan Pope
I mean, I don't know necessarily if I was trying to, because I don't think that there would have been a way for me to figure it out. All I was thinking was, like, for one, if Dru. If you have this, like, what the fuck are you doing? For one, right? Like, don't piss me off. Like, genuinely, if we get to, like, this next episode and I find out you have it, like, I will literally feel some type of way when you get out of the house.
Mary
Yeah, go get him.
Morgan Pope
Yeah, right. Like, I will take that time machine to a time where I can whoop on you and then come back like it never happened. But then it's also, like, I was curious because he's felt so comfortable. I was like, does. Because, like, you know, at that time, we didn't know if he genuinely.
Rob Ciceronino
Yeah.
Morgan Pope
Felt like he was a pawn. And so I was like, if I. If I come out here and he throws this speedo, I'm actually might tackle him myself. Like, right now, I might just be, like, production. I'm taking matters my own hands because I wasn't sure. Luckily, he didn't try to do that. But you just never know what these houseguests sometimes. Sometimes they get too comfortable, and they just want to throw some stupid conversation, like, competition. It's silly.
Rob Ciceronino
Yeah. What about. Was there anybody else that you felt like maybe you got, like, a different impression from them meeting them in person than you have from watching them on the show in the feeds?
Morgan Pope
Chuck. I was surprised. Yeah, he has, like, some charisma. He seems really nice. Like, I mean, people were laughing at him. Like, people. Like, people really were enjoying Chuck. And I was like, on the feeds, I don't really get that. Like, it's hard for me to find a personality. No shade. Like, you know, people call him Chuck gbt. And, like, I was surprised to see that maybe there isn't really much GBT after all.
Rob Ciceronino
But so for you, Morgan, are you saying it's Chuck time?
Morgan Pope
No, I. When I said. Literally, when I watched this, I said, did he just say it's Chuck time? I said,
Rob Ciceronino
he. He did Chuck time.
Morgan Pope
It's Chuck time. Yeah. I mean, I think in general, like, even, like, Yash, like, I feel like a lot of people that you don't see, like, have a lot of personality maybe on the feeds, like, really showed it when I was there. But, I mean, I don't know. They were excited, but, like, you know, for example, like, D and Devin's, they're. They're definitely more, like, reserved. I think it's also because, like, that's just how they are as players. I think they're still kind of blocked in. Plus, they're good with tv. Like, they know, like, when to keep it on, when to not. But I did think that, like, Yash and Devin's had some, like, nice interactions with each other, like, being funny together. So it was nice to see, like I said, the house guests kind of loosen up a little bit. Lyric was the sweetest thing on the planet. Like, so sweet. Which didn't surprise me at all. Like, she came up to me after the veto was over, and she's like, morgan, she's like, you're so pretty, I can't stop staring at you. I was like, oh, my God. I was like, I'm gonna be like, lyric. I was gonna put my little. My little Polly pocket. Put you in my little pocket. Like, she's just so cute. So cute. But it was cool. Even Pipe queen, like, at, like, when we. When I was saying goodbye to everyone, she came up to me. She's like, can I have a hug? And I was like. I was like, the little. Like, we call them the Littles. Like, the Littles asking for hugs. Just, like, the sweetest thing. I was just like, I want to just, like, scoop you guys up and come in here and like, rip this house apart because I'm so sick of, like, what's happening to them. I really hope that we see a turn of events on Thursday. Like, I don't think I've ever, like, wanted something to change so much in a Big Brother game.
Rob Ciceronino
Yeah. Because this season has been so different than your season, and I know that I feel this way. I certainly know Chappelle does, too. I don't want to speak for Mary, but your season was just so exciting from week to week to week, and you kept us glued all the way through. We didn't have a boring week.
Morgan Pope
No, it was funny because I was watching this on my. With my Patreon, and I. I was like. I was like, I can't believe you guys watched me, like, three times a week on this episode. And they were like, girl, we watched you 25. Yeah. Like, what do you mean? Three days a week? And I was like, oh, that's right. The feeds. It's really cool. I guess. I. I don't know when you're in there. And when I was playing the game, I wasn't really thinking about the outside impact I was having. I wasn't thinking about the live feeds. I was just gaming. I was like, I'm trying to win this fucking game, and I'm gonna do whatever it takes to win this game. I don't care if I stay up till 6 o' clock every morning. Like, I used to have a joke with my doctor rep that was like, the night shift.
Rob Ciceronino
Yeah.
Morgan Pope
He would always be like, you like, morgan, any chance you're getting sleep tonight? I'm like, come on, you know me. What is sleep like? I just never, you know, I'd always say, like, you know, clocking into work and stuff.
Mary
So,
Morgan Pope
yeah, it's. It's. It's great to know that people really enjoyed the season. I've been feeling kind of bad for season 28 because I keep seeing tweets that are, like, going to go back and watch season 27 to feel something. I'm like, oh, no, not feel something. Like.
Rob Ciceronino
But you know what?
Morgan Pope
I'll take it.
Mary
I mean, you were there, but you had to be there.
Rob Ciceronino
You.
Mary
You don't.
Rob Ciceronino
You.
Mary
You was on the inside. So you didn't see what we saw, but we. We were going through it every week, every day. It was like. It was dire. Poor Taryn, he lost so much weight. He got it back. It's all in his arms now, but he's back. But it took a lot out of him. I didn't think he was gonna make it.
Chappelle
Not in his hips.
Mary
Taryn's arms. Yeah.
Rob Ciceronino
We only see him from the top half.
Mary
Mary.
Rob Ciceronino
We have no idea.
Mary
Does he have hips?
Rob Ciceronino
Yeah.
Mary
Oh, no.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
That's.
Morgan Pope
That's so funny. I think it is definitely a different experience for me because, like, watching how the live feeds are and, like, how the live feeds work. Like, I knew of the live feeds. I knew that it was cameras. I wasn't actually sure. I was under the impression that the live feeds were always on conversations where more people were having or I didn't think that they were, you know, when I was in the gym punching the punching bag. Like, why are you watching that? Like, okay, I guess it's, you know, who knows? But it is very interesting for me to see a new perspective of the game because I think Chappelle, you said it perfectly. It's different when you're watching it. I have that. People tell me that all the time. They're like, morgan, you had to be there, and you were in there. So you'll never understand what it was like in our shoes, watching what was happening. So fascinating.
Rob Ciceronino
It was real to us.

That's now crispier McCrispy strips meeting. Creamy Caesar sauce sounds extra crispy caesar sauce at McDonald's for a limited time.
Rob Ciceronino
Let's talk about the HOH reign of Hayley and Morgan. Welcome to stay for as long as you would like on. On the show. I'm not sure if you have, you
Morgan Pope
know, at like 7:30. So, like, I got about. What is that, like, 10 minutes?
Mary
Yeah.
Rob Ciceronino
Okay. All right. Well, I actually. Do you have any other hot takes that you want to drop on us?
Morgan Pope
Hot takes, Hot take. I actually love that veto comp. Some people don't like it. I think it's a great comp. I've seen some people that, like, they don't like it because it's like 50. 50. I feel like some people I had seen suggest where, like, you should be able to go up to anybody and be able to like, offer like a. Or like, I don't know. I don't. I was like, that's the same thing. It's just some people have no clue what they're talking about anyway. I like the veto comp. I've seen some people that it's a good girl. Some people just think it's too much of like a crapshoot or like the fact that you. I don't know. I think it's great. And I love that everyone just challenge.
Chappelle
This is Big Brother. There's crap shoots. That's life.
Morgan Pope
Exactly. Like, there has to be crapshoots. As far as other hot takes, I don't know. I think. I fear that if the same power structure wins HOH next week, it's going to be a really rough season to stick, like, with a lot of viewers. And that's what makes me worried. A lot of people are unhappy right now. It's very boring, I think.
Rob Ciceronino
Yes.
Chappelle
I mean, this.
Morgan Pope
This HOH was. I mean, this hoh itis, I should say, was quite interesting to watch. You know, that's. That's something, you know.
Rob Ciceronino
Yeah.
Morgan Pope
Wouldn't you agree?
Mary
Yeah.
Rob Ciceronino
What do you make of Haley's HOH this week?
Morgan Pope
I mean, personally, I will say this. Like, I know a lot of people don't necessarily like her as a person, but I will say she's great casting. I'm really enjoying the whole, like, Melody Haley kind of situation. While I think her reasonings for a lot of things are kind of interesting, I think, you know, one thing I. That is still gold to me is how she was telling Melody that she had a really hard three weeks.
Chappelle
I was like, oh, girl, like, hard three weeks. Said, like, what she thought was hard possibly about it.
Morgan Pope
I feel like the only thing I gathered from her on the live feeds was like, she just didn't like that she wasn't winning. And I'm like, oh, well, not winning versus being on the block, girl. Like, there's, you know, because I understand what it's like to not win. I was very upset about not winning. And like, I. I mean, I luckily was safe during the times. Well, not all.
Chappelle
You know, it is hard when. When someone tries to throw a competition to you and you still fail.
Rob Ciceronino
Yeah, that was fine. That was a hard week.
Morgan Pope
I thought that too. I was like, wait, Devin's literally handed it to her?
Rob Ciceronino
Yeah.
Morgan Pope
I mean, what. What's your guys's take on the hoh. What do you guys think?
Rob Ciceronino
Well, I think it's really been. While it's not the outcome that we wanted, like, I do think that she has emerged as a fun TV character. And I, you know, I'm gonna say the H word, the fun TV character, to hate. Not to say that we should be hating people on television, but I think that she. The editors are having a lot of fun with her.
Chappelle
Yeah.
Morgan Pope
Yeah. And because what I was thinking is, like, you know, obviously there's edits that try to shape the character. How they are, where she's giving them exactly how she. Like, they don't even. I can promise you they are not asking her, hey, can you say this? That she's in there going off just like Melody is, like, they are having a blast with them. And I love this edit. I love that it's kind of building this feud, which is why I really want Melody to stay. I need this feud to build. I need Melody to be able to take a shot back at her. I'm not ready for her to go, but I feel like the one thing I can feel this season in particular, so far, every week, I haven't wanted anybody on the block to go. So I'm just like, this fucking sucks. Like, I don't want anyone to go this week either. I think Lyric has a lot of room to make some leeway in her game. I think Drew would be fun to come back and basically blow up Devin's game as he's talking about. But, like, go at the red corner. I want Melody to stay because I think she's the one person that will actually take a big swing and not be afraid or persuaded. But one of them's leaving, so it's like, damn. Like.
Rob Ciceronino
But yeah, I know that you were waiting for the wall comp when you were in the house, and it was kind of a turning point in your game because once the wall comp came and you didn' then, then all you did, like Yash's hero, DJ Khalid, was win, win, win, win, win.
Mary
And no matter what.
Rob Ciceronino
Yeah. And it seems like there's some talk maybe this week could be the wall comp. Are you feeling wall comp this week?
Morgan Pope
You know, when I was in the house, I remember after our week five was called the Jack the Dipper and it was a knockout comp. And I remember Rachel Riley said, love
Rob Ciceronino
talking about Jack the Dipper.
Morgan Pope
Always Jack the Dipper was our comp name, though.
Rob Ciceronino
Yes.
Morgan Pope
Oh, yes. I see you're saying Rachel in the house said Week five is always knockout. And I was like, oh, she's done this show three times. She knows what she's talking about. So I'm actually assuming it's a knockout. But I'm like, it's been closed for like a week, so it could be wall comp. My wall comp, I think, was two weeks later. I've actually been asking other alumni. I was like, when was your guys's wall comp? And some actually had it this week. So I feel like it could be we are due for some sort of like, physical endurance. Hoh. I was hoping it was going to be pressure cooker, but I actually don't know where they do pressure cooker because, like our pressure cooker was in like the have not room at Final Five when Keanu.
Rob Ciceronino
Yeah.
Morgan Pope
Versus Vince was the last two standing. But wall comp would be interesting. But it also was a little scary because I think Kamu is very capable of winning wall comp. But so is Mallory and so is D. But again, it's like that's too on the other side. Versus. I'm just scared. I'm. I'm feeling like Lauren and I'm scared. You know what I mean?
Rob Ciceronino
Yeah.
Morgan Pope
So I'm scared.
Rob Ciceronino
Do you have a pick? Do you think it would be Kamu that would win the Wallcom?
Morgan Pope
I'm going to put all my money in Mallory. I don't care. I will if I have to, like, give her, like telepathic powers, which I won't personally give them from me because, like, I fell, but maybe like all the energy I didn't get to use, I can just telepathically give to her since I literally just ate shit twice. So maybe I can give her everything that I didn't get to use. And hopefully Mallory can pull out a win because I think I can just picture her, like, just erupting. And I need that for my soul. Like, I genuinely do. I don't want to come. Hoh.
Rob Ciceronino
Yeah. I would say if. If that did happen this week, I think much like Haley, I would say
Morgan Pope
come and ruin my buzz.
Rob Ciceronino
Yes. That's what a lot of people said that.
Morgan Pope
Yeah, no, totally. Now that interaction was so interesting. I was like, like, I love how Angela was just sitting there and she was just like all. She was just really popcorn. That was a very juicy interaction. I enjoyed it.
Rob Ciceronino
Yeah. Because Morgan, I know how the alcohol consumption is pretty limited in the Big Brother house, but we got like the. The setup of here's Haley with her bottle of wine and she's like, I'm drinking this whole bottle of wine tonight and you saw it. And then we got into this back and forth with Haley and Camu.
Morgan Pope
Yeah, it was so interesting because it's like, you can tell that Kamu is very self interested and like. But he is for the alliance, but he's also self interested. And I think it's funny that like, Haley also like, they're like the same people just in opposite bodies, you know, Because I thought it was funny that he's like, you asked me and it's like, well, obviously she's gonna ask because she wants to hear out options, but that doesn't mean she's gonna do it. And she had the right read. Why is she going to save Lyric when clearly Lyric is closer to Kamu? Like, she's. It made to me. I think it was great for her to make the deal with Mallory. I think it was great for Mallory to take the deal. One less person that she can possibly be targeted by. Although I'm kind of hoping Mallory doesn't keep the deal. She's going to. But like, I kind of hope she's not. Just because I would love to see a red corner block more than anything.
Rob Ciceronino
Mm.
Chappelle
Yeah. Regardless of whether or not this is at all love triangle related or not. Kind of doesn't matter. I feel like if, if you're, if you're Haley and Lyric is. Is closer to Kamu and. Or Chuck, and you're close to Kamu and Chuck, but you and Lyric are not super close. It doesn't really benefit you 100%. So. Yeah, I, I understand the pushback here.
Morgan Pope
Yeah. I mean, I obviously am, you know, privy to taking out my closest allies. Closest allies. Because if there's going to be anybody who's having a closest ally, it's going to be me. Like, I don't want to have to compete for somebody like to potentially sit next to the block to your other closest and you have to choose. I already went through a 5 to 4 vote and I almost shit myself on national television. I was not about to have that happen again.
Rob Ciceronino
Yeah.
Morgan Pope
So I think it's great that Haley is trying to do things what's best for her game and telling Kamu, like, hey, you can shove it. I'm going to do what I want. And I actually am glad that she kind of stood her ground because I do think while I do want Lyric to stay so she can put Kamu up on the block as I think that'd be funny, I actually don't know if she would. Even though she Says she would. I don't think she would.
Rob Ciceronino
Yeah.
Mary
Morgan, if you were Kamu in that situation, how would you have approached, you know, pushing to maybe keep Lyric in the house?
Morgan Pope
It's tough because I think with lyrics, track record of not voting to keep her, allies, like, hurt her, which is oddly, like, to me, like, I think back to when Rachel didn't keep Amy and she was like, I didn't want to keep her. I didn't want you guys to evict me or make a target. Like, I think people underestimate how, like, understanding people are. Like, I don't think people would have gotten upset at her if she kept Rome or Jason. Like, it's like, those are your closest allies. Now, granted, I don't disagree with her throwing Mallory under the bus necessarily because she's trying to save her life. Like, you got to do what you got to do. And I think Lyric is a very self interested player, which is why I love listening to her Drs, because you. I think we learn more about Lyric through her Drs than we do on the feeds. Feeds. I'm kind of like chasing her to try to figure out who she's telling the truth to because she's pretty much lying to everybody. So it's really hard to kind of keep up. But I think in that case, like, I think Kamu would have had to try to be as like, with Haley. Like, you need Haley to think it's her idea. So it's kind of like something where, like, he would have to really guide her into like, okay, well, let's just break down Mallory and Lyric. Let's go over pros and cons. Like, this is kind of what I did with people in the house. I would go over pros and cons and kind of like, forget to like, list certain con or pros and like, put more cons. You know what I mean? And it's like something that I think maybe he could have used by like, being like, oh, well, I mean, I've had conversations with Lyric and like, she's. Jenny said this. Now, I think Haley's very stuck in her ways, but it's a. It's an option. And maybe even trying to pull Angela. Like, Angela, like, what? Like, how do you feel about Lyric? I feel like you have great conversations with her, you know, like, kind of like leading that. But I don't think Haley was ever planning on putting up Lyric or, sorry, not putting up Lyric.
Rob Ciceronino
Regardless, Haley really came after Lyric in that conversation where she's like. And, you know, I really think it's kind of a bad thing you're doing, throwing your friends under the bus and. And coming to me. But I just think that Haley is pretty hypocritical and that if. If she didn't throw her friends under the bus, she would have come, like, come after Lyric and been like, so you're hearing things about me and you're not bringing them to me. So that's why you're going up on the block.
Chappelle
Well, as we heard. As we heard Haley say to Angela in this episode, she's going to come up with a reason even if she pulls it out of her ass on the block.
Morgan Pope
You're totally right, Mary. I was, like, literally going to bring that up. I was like, she kind of did that with Taylor. She just came up with something. So I think no matter what, even if she chuckled at the teapot, mind you, Angela was, like, cackling. You know, I'm just like, it's funny. I'm enjoying, like, the. I feel like. I don't know how it was for my season, but, like, there's a lot of comedic stuff. Stuff happening on the episodes, which I'm loving. Like, I'm loving these Drs. Like, I'm eating them up. They're so great. I think they're hilarious, especially from, like, Mallory and Melody just hearing their, like, hatred for the other side. And, like, you know, I think it's great. And I. Yeah, again, I'm just gonna keep pushing it into the air atmosphere, but I really hope that the other side wins something. But then we have the diamond power of vet. It's just like,
Rob Ciceronino
Well, listen, the thing about the dime power of veto is, you know, like, I know people are like, okay, it's a steamroll to steamroll the steamroll. But what about when Rick and D turn on the red corner? Like, that's going to be fun.
Morgan Pope
Yeah. It's just. Hopefully it's not in jury. I would love to see it before. You know, I would love to see at least one red corner not make jury because otherwise it's like the six of them and then what, three other players who just so happen to get in there, like, and who knows if they decide to stay six strong. Not. Not. Not that I'm not including Barrett. I just, like, I don't know what Barrett is going to plan on doing.
Rob Ciceronino
Yeah. You know, he doesn't know either. It's fine.
Morgan Pope
I think he's just playing very cautious, which I think is smart. He needs to. But I need to see more from him for sure.
Rob Ciceronino
Okay. Morgan, do you need to run?
Morgan Pope
Yes, I do.
Rob Ciceronino
Morgan, please let everybody know where they can keep up with everything that you're doing because you're so locked in in Big Brother 28 and Big Brother 25.
Morgan Pope
Yes, I'm very logged in. I stream on Twitch, Twitch tv backslash, Modelmore. You can find me every Wednesday and Sundays. I have a little Gamebot with Corey Wurtenberger from season 25 where we talk about how we're feeling and then we also do player rankings as well. And then on all my socials, of course, some of them are underscore model morgue. Others are model morgue. Either way, if you just type Model Mark, you'll be able to find me.
Rob Ciceronino
Yeah.
Morgan Pope
And yeah, if you didn't watch tonight's episode, go watch it and then you'll see me again.
Rob Ciceronino
Okay. And we're all such big fans of your content. We love. We love when we see clips of everything that you're doing. And so thank you so much for being here and make it some time to talk to us on a big night for you.
Morgan Pope
Oh, my gosh, of course. No, thank you. I really appreciate it, even just squeezing me in and just, you know, all this stuff. I can't wait to talk more Big Brother as the season goes on. But have a great rest of your podcast. Bye, everyone.
Rob Ciceronino
Thanks so much, Morgan.
Morgan Pope
Okay, thank you.

how about that? It's exciting.
Mary
Somebody from right inside the house from. From the past. Even Mary came back and laced us up on what was going on in the house.
Chappelle
Yeah. From the. As the house guest said, medieval times.
Rob Ciceronino
Yes, the late 1700s. Very medieval.
Chappelle
Yeah, medieval.
Rob Ciceronino
So I want to actually talk about Dee and Rick Devins and the power tonight, because finally in this episode, it clicked for me what Dee is doing with Rick Devins and the power. And we had that moment where Rick Devins was in the shower and there's a little something for everybody at home. Rick Devins showering. And here he is and he says to D, hey, did you get it? And she said, no, I swear to God, I didn't get it. But we got a diary room from D. And she said, the reason I'm not telling Rick Devins is I need to have something in the final two to be able to say that I kept a secret from Rick Devins. And as many Survivor fans can remember that people look at that as the killer move that Dee made In the Survivor 45 final Tribal Council where she had the secret from Austin. And then in the final tribal council, she dropped it on the jury where Austin was talking about the vote, where Julie went home and she said, actually, and she's doing the new era survivor thing of having a secret that you break out at the final tribal council.
Chappelle
In general, I like being able to differentiate yourself at your final conversation. I. I wonder. I kind of disagree that it needs to be a physical thing, like a power. I think just a move or even just like a thought process. Like you could just say at the end, I had tons of stuff that I never told Rick Devins or something like that. Whatever.
Rob Ciceronino
Yeah.
Chappelle
I think the thing is, it's more beneficial in a game where if you can almost guarantee that you have like a solid tight two ally in the way that I think at this point, De and Devin's more or less have, especially from Dee's perspective of Devin's has already told her his power. It benefits you more, I think, to be able to have a person you can openly strategize with. I think that's like the biggest benefit, whether it's Survivor or big Brother, of having someone that, you know, you can go to and give your thoughts to and strategize with and they're going to have your back. The part where I question is like, how much is this bribery power really going to be able to be used? If Dee is like, look, probably not going to be able to do much with this. So let me just go ahead and have it be my thing. I think for me personally, I would worry it's week three and I'm going to have to keep up this lie for the whole time. And that seems harder than just, I mean, telling Devin's, telling multiple people that you have it. I don't know. I really feel like the best. The best thing is probably to. If you can find a way to get a punishment, you just skate by,
Mary
make one up, you know, just start doing something weird and be like, oh, it's my punishment. I guess I got the votes this week. I. I think that if she got to the end and I was on the jury and she said I had this bribe, I could have gave you however many dollars to get you to do what I wanted to do. And I didn't even use it. I said, so you had the opportunity to give me a stack of money and you did not do that.
Rob Ciceronino
Yeah.
Mary
Well, I guess we have to see what it's like on the other foot.
Chappelle
Okay.
Mary
Because I'm not going to reward that behavior. I'm sorry, you could have paid me.
Rob Ciceronino
So I, I do think she will use it, but I think that she wants to have something if she gets to the end with Devin, I think that she wants to be able to have a reveal. And again, this is a very Survivor thing. I don't think we've ever seen this in Big Brother, but we've seen it a lot where a person in the final tribal council loves to say, actually, you don't have that right. I think that we even got that a little bit in Survivor 50 where, you know, Aubrey was, you know, wanted on the Aussie vote to say like, oh, actually this. This happened this way and. But to have to have a physical thing that's. It's so new era Survivor coded to say, like, I had the thing and you didn't know about it and I did this and you thought it was this. And actually, I think that she's waiting for a moment, like to have like some sort of, like a vote that Devins like, went a certain way and it's like, don't tell Devins that this is happening. Oh, you. And you thought that Yash just voted for Barrett to stay that time because I talked to him. Well, actually, you didn't know I had the BB Bribe, Like, I think that that's what she wants to do. And. And seeing, like, what has worked for her in the past, like, I. I guess this makes sense where she feels like, the. The actual power is stupid, but I can use it in a way where I can really put a stamp on my game at the final two. And that's how far ahead she's thinking of. Like, this is gonna be in my speech in the final two.
Mary
Stop it, Rob. She's had a hard few weeks.
Rob Ciceronino
Yeah.
Chappelle
Here's my question with the whole, like. And someone brings this up in the. In the chat, I think Red Wing Princess, can you. Can you fake a punishment? Like, not a costume, but, like, oh, it's my punishment where I have to go run 100 laps around the backyard in five hours and then just do that. Is that using production as a strategy?
Mary
Production as a strategy? But, Mary, what if you don't say it? What if you just start running? I can't tell you what it's about
Chappelle
doing a couple weird things. And people. People think maybe you have a punishment. Like, does that count? So, like, oh, shoot, every hour I have to go collect all of the clocks in the house and pile them up and then go put.
Mary
Can't say why? Can't say.
Rob Ciceronino
I think you can do it. I think that the issue would be somebody who goes into the BB time capsule, is able to see how many powers and punishments have been taken. So, like, let's say that next week, you know, Taylor goes in and she ends up seeing what the board looks like. It's like, oh, actually, you know, one punishment is gone and two powers are gone. Okay.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
Yeah.
Mary
I mean, there's probably not much D could do. I mean, you're right. She's trying to maximize this kind of okay power. But as the chat has pointed out, and, you know, I'm pretty sure a lot of people are thinking that getting to the end and not using it, that's probably not going to be great either. Just to be like, I had a thing and it never happened. There's people like, okay, you know Tyler Crispin, BB20, he's yelling about the cloud power. I think he answered cloud power three times during the jury questioning. And it's like, hey, we don't care, we don't care. We don't care, we don't care. And he still lost. And so, yeah, she's gonna have to do something with it. It doesn't necessarily have to be paying somebody, but she has to at least use it to show that not only was her and Devin's in charge the entire time that she actually did something with the power that she got, not just sat by and just let time expire.
Rob Ciceronino
Yeah. All right, well, let's pivot for who do we think is going to get the power coming into this next week? The three vets are off of the board. Taryn has, I know, is keeping an eye on the edits all week long in terms of who's going to get the power. I did think this was a pretty big night for Taylor. I thought she came off pretty amazing. In the episode, Drew was featured again. I know that he was somebody who at least we were convinced could have gotten the power last week. Mary, what do you think? Who's getting the power or the punishment next? Who's getting the time capsule
Chappelle
if she stays? I think Melody has a decent shot. I think both Melody and Mallory have been highlighted pretty well. Mallory. Mallory has also won some competitions which, you know, a lot of the voting audience likes, so I think that they are both in a pretty decent spot. I think Taylor might also, especially after this episode, maybe long shot to Drew. I'm just not really sure what the, like, casual audience opinion is on Drew, but. But I think at this point, I mean, now that we've run out, I feel like it's for sure underdog territory is where we're. Where we're looking. Yeah, I probably. I'd probably go Melody number one, though, just based on if she stays.
Mary
Yeah, I'm probably with Melody and Taylor. I feel like Mallory's been doing this same stick this whole time. Like, I'm gonna win and take y' all. Okay. When you're not okay, so stop it. You know, like, so when Melody does it, it feels fresh, it feels new. You know, it's like when Taylor did in this episode, it felt fresh. It was like, okay. And then we watched her lock in and actually win something that could change the game a little bit. We. We've seen the Pipe Queen win challenges before. That's how she got her name, the Pipe Queen. But her. Her doctors are so one note. It's always. And I say one note, but they're aggressively one note. Right? It's like, I'm going to take these, you know, like, she's. She's right there, but she's not actually delivering. Whereas that pure hatred that's coming from Melody, it just. It just feels right. Right? Like, it's like it burns a little bit, but it burns so good. She's like, oh, she's so fake. She's so phony. I'm like, yeah, it's more.
Rob Ciceronino
More.
Mary
So she got my vote.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
Her.
Mary
Taylor.
Chappelle
Was this episode the first time that calling her the Pipe Queen actually made it onto the show because she said that in a dream.
Rob Ciceronino
No, it's been mentioned a couple times on the show before.
Mary
O yeah, she, she is the Pipe Queen, but she needs to win HOH at this point, winning the blockbuster and winning the veto, it's not doing y' all any favors. You have to get real power. And you know, even though we know there's an advantage that could usurp that, it doesn't necessarily mean they're going to use it this time around. You know, maybe you can get some of these people on the, on the block. She says she wants to keep Haley off the block. So I'm not rooting for Mallory to get any power because I want Haley on the block and so I'm rooting for Melody because Melody would put Haley on the block. That's what I want to see.
Rob Ciceronino
Melody had a very dramatic diary room at the end of the episode, also with like a very pregnant pause in the middle where she talked about how that she's on the block again because of fake Queen Haley's HOH she has to prioritize herself and as she got teary eyed, she told us she doesn't want to go home. She's having the best time, having so much fun.
Mary
You know, it's too short. You know, Big brother's a long ass game. She's got a long time in the house if she's managed to, to stay. But right now, you know, we're not, we're not even near jury right now. Right. She's. We still got a couple weeks. So she has to figure out a way to not only survive this week, but put herself in a position where she's not going to be an easy target next week or the week after.
Rob Ciceronino
Yeah. So it's going to be an interesting day on Friday to find out who's going to get the next power after, you know, because it's interesting also because there's a couple people who are on the block who could be potentially the people who could be likely to get it. Do we think Lyric has a shot at the power?
Mary
She had a good episode.
Chappelle
How much campaigning is Rome doing out there for her? How many people?
Rob Ciceronino
He wants her out there A lot.
Mary
Yeah, he wants her at home. He said, I'm rooting against her. I need her to come home. I don't want her to win Big Brother. I Want her here with me?
Rob Ciceronino
Yep. Okay, paraphrasing the other possibility on the BB time capsule. It's drug time.
Mary
No, it's not. No, it's not. It's not. I know Morgan went in the house and she saw something different. We haven't seen. We haven't. It just doesn't. It doesn't translate to this. Look, Rob, it doesn't translate through the screen. You know what I'm saying? Like, it's. There's. It's not there. It's not. It's not giving. What she said it had gave. I. I heard her say it, and I was like, she always lying. That's what she did in the Big Brother house. What she doing now? She just. That's all she do is lie. She looked good, but she lied.
Rob Ciceronino
It's Chuck time.
Mary
Let's just didn't just say don't trust women.
Chappelle
It's truck time is what it sounds like.
Rob Ciceronino
He did that and said, don't. Don't believe women. Don't trust women.
Mary
And when Morgan said it, I said, you know what, Chuck? You might have been right. That boy Chuck might. You know, that broken clock hit every. Every now and then. I said, all right, Chuck. Because he knew. He knew it's stuck time.
Chappelle
Are the casuals also maybe not happy with the fact that Lyric is throwing her friends under the bus and not just.
Mary
Not.
Chappelle
It's not just throwing your friends under the bus. She set Mallory up to be what she did.
Rob Ciceronino
You're my bestie.
Chappelle
I. I don't know. I don't know. Sorry. She didn't say best friend. You're my bestest friend.
Mary
Bestest friend. Baby talk came right out.
Chappelle
I need a. I need you to tell me, like. Like, if I was hoh. I'd put up whoever you want. She's like, hold on, let me write this down.
Mary
Valerie said, yeah, I don't know who I would put up. She was like, you have to say a name, please. So she says, is she like. And that's it. I'm driving the truck right over.
Chappelle
Mallory has not learned to not say names. I do wonder if Haley telling Lyric here, like, it's a little. It's a little sus that you keep throwing your friends under the bus and just jumping ship. I wonder if Lyric will actually, like, maybe stop doing this after this point or not.
Mary
She just needs to survive. She doesn't care.
Rob Ciceronino
Well, that was the saga of Melody back in week one, where she was the littles that they love to throw Mallory under the bus.
Mary
Yeah. Melody was the first one, she. Yeah, she invented this move. But they. They all talk. They talk amongst themselves and say, oh, my God, we're going to be best friends and we're going to go to Hawaii. We're just going to live a happy life together outside of this. Y' all are my sisters. And then the moment one walks out, they're like, that girl is as fake as press on nails. You know, like, it's so funny that that's how they interact. And then they go and they tell each other's business so quickly to save themselves. You know, they are always jumping ship. Barrett, he just let Drew Barry himself and didn't say anything. He's like, oh, yep, just gotta make it through the renob. Yeah, that's it.
Chappelle
There are no good friends in this.
Rob Ciceronino
No good friends.
Mary
None. None. These are not your friends.
Chappelle
They need that shirt. They need that shirt from Survivors.
Morgan Pope
You know what I'm talking about?
Rob Ciceronino
Which shirt?
Chappelle
What's his name? The guy from Alec and Kara season. The other guy.
Mary
Yeah. From David versus Goliath. Yeah, that's what it was. Okay.
Rob Ciceronino
I know it from the bnb. All right, so deep cut. Yeah. Let's talk about the saga of Drew, and then let's go into talking about the live feeds, because here we have in this episode, Drew being really bummed out that he's the pawn, and he's going up to people and he's like, hey, would you use the veto on me this week? And he's getting some resistance. He goes to Chuck. It's Chuck time. No, Chuck also would not use the veto on him. Nobody would use the veto on him. He's like, wow, that's weird.
Chappelle
Yeah. So weird.
Mary
No, this is so bad. This is so bad. It's so bad. First of all, first of all, I would say, bring Morgan back. She long gone. But if someone tells you they want to make you a pawn, I think we need to just, like, we need to lower this down to the lowest base level of strategy. Okay. Because if you're talking about a pawn, you're talking about a chess piece that you use to forward your game, but you're not afraid to. To lose them. That is the point of the pond. They are. They're set out as bait, you know, and if you lose them, oh, well, I had another pawn. So when somebody tells you you're going to be the pawn, they are saying, I'm okay with you going home. If push comes to shove when someone says pawn, you should say, no. Every time they say pawn, you say, no, pawn. No pawn. No. That's how this thing goes. The fact that you're walking around like I think I'm 90 sure that I'm not the target. But there's 10. 10 is wrong pawn means you are possibly going home. It doesn't matter if it's 90, if it's 10, it's a 5. You could go home. You should not be on the block if your ally is the hoh.
Rob Ciceronino
Yeah.
Chappelle
And literally like the phrase pawns go home has been around since like season
Mary
two episode like three.
Chappelle
It wasn't. This isn't new information and like the concept of a pawn being either the person to sit next to my target or the person I'm putting up pre veto to then take down and backdoor a target. Especially if it's that you're not going to have the HOH being like, yeah, and if I win veto, I'm just not going to change the noms like that. I'm not a pawn. Am I right?
Mary
You're a target. You're target number three. And then the blockbuster makes it even more complicated because if the person that the. The first target comes down with the veto and the second target comes down with the blockbuster. Well, look at that. You just.
Rob Ciceronino
Yeah, there. That's a really good point. Can you even have pawns in the blockbuster phase in the game when there's three nominees on the block? Does a pawn even make sense? No.
Chappelle
Pawn is not. Does not make sense as a term. You can say like, you're not my main target. It's about the best thing you can tell. Someone's like, I'm gunning for someone else, but I put you on the block, therefore I'm okay if you potentially go home. That's the only thing. And especially like for me, don't be throwing around the terms like pawn. When you're in an eight person alliance and there's still like 14 people left in the house. Like there are so many other people who could go up besides me.
Rob Ciceronino
Yeah.
Mary
So I would have, I would have needed.
Chappelle
You should have never bought this and explained.
Mary
Yeah, no, this is bad.
Rob Ciceronino
Yeah. Because the word pawn doesn't even make sense in the idea of what it's supposed to be, where it's supposed to be. The idea is that you're the person that's so beloved you'll never go home. You know, the house will keep you around no matter what. Like that's not even what a pawn is.
Mary
That's the first boot of the Big brother game that we know and love. The first Boot was a pond that was so beloved Cheryl that they wouldn't go home. And we have not heard from Cheryl since. And so like, what are you doing?
Chappelle
Yeah. And I think, I mean, you know, Drew was put in a tough situation because honestly, you get put in this, you get put up by someone who's supposed to be in your alliance. I feel like at that point you go full scorched earth. You out the entire alliance, you say, look, this person had me in alliance and they put me up and they're trying to insist that I'm upon when there are so many other people out. Problem is at this point, two of the other people are already up on the block. You don't have a whole lot of numbers to be working with here by flipping sides. So at this point, you're kind of stuck where you are and you can't do anything until power shifts anyway.
Rob Ciceronino
Yeah, we saw Rick Devins talk about Drew also where Drew said that he was upset about being on the block. He wanted to go after the red corner. Rick Devins's. Drew's liability was he's like, what do you mean you want to go after the red corner? That's my alliance.
Chappelle
Yeah, this is. I did roll my eyes heavily at this, at this Devin's diary room because. What are you talking about? You put this, you put this man on the block and you. And you were supposed to be in alliance with him too. Like, what do we. I, you know what? For me, anyone who is on the bottom or on the block, I don't think you get to be like, it's so bad of them for trying to get off or to go against the people who put them up. No, that's called good gameplay. That's called. Oh, I see where I am. Yeah, Devins, it didn't work out for you. Maybe you shouldn't have turned the half your alliance against the other half. What are we doing?
Rob Ciceronino
Yep. All right, so I'd love to then pivot to post veto ceremony, talk about the live feeds, get into the vote. Was there anything else from this episode that you want to mention?
Mary
No, I don't think so. I think that everything. Oh, we, we got a confessional from Lala.
Rob Ciceronino
Yes. Yes, that's it.
Chappelle
Yeah.
Rob Ciceronino
What did Lala say?
Mary
I believe she's. Haley's out there taking out necks and she doesn't want to be like. She's like, she's like Henry VII or something like that. Lala, please do something. Do something. Lala, please.
Chappelle
No, we've. We've heard two things from Lala. Thing number one, oh no, I'm on the block. I got to get myself off because, you know, I gotta stay. Thing number two, I'm not on the block. Great. Sit back and let everybody else do stuff. That's it. Those are Lala's two modes.
Rob Ciceronino
Okay. All right, we're gonna go and bring in the live feeds. Let me then also before we do that, let me just take a quick moment. Tell you about Rahabcon coming up. Milwaukee, Wisconsin, August 26th to the 28th. Tickets are available at Rahabcon.com including individual live show tickets. If you just want to come out for the Big Brother on Wednesday night or Thursday night. But if you want to be there for all three days, we are going to have live podcasts and live reality games taking place and so much more@arahapcon.com so check that out. Also, by the way, I had a very fun podcast. I visited everybody with the Heavy Crown Network with Big D and Tiffany and Chada and Claire. We did a collaboration last night and it was very, very fun. I would say that we talked a little bit about Big Brother, but it was mostly just a lot of just nonsense, which was very, very fun. So check that out on RHAP and on the Heavy Crown Network.

Let's go ahead and talk about what's coming up on the spoilers. The Office of Civil Defense has issued the following message.
Mary
This is a spoiler warning. A spoiler warning means that an actual

spoiler against this country has been taken
Sponsor/Ad Voice
and that protective action should be taken.
Rob Ciceronino
It's Chuck time.
Mary
Yes.
Rob Ciceronino
Okay. All right, we have got some stuff to talk about here after. It was a very busy Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday where things are shifting and Drew never figured out what was going on. And ultimately it turned out that ignorance is bliss. Okay, Mary, what. What. What happened to change the course of events for Drew?
Chappelle
You know, here's what happened. Dee and Devins, they're sitting around and D's going, all right, I know we spent a long time getting the red corner against Drew. I mean, a lot of that was led by Angela, but still, she's like, wouldn't it be funny if we kept Drew instead, though? Because isn't Drew. Drew's going after the red corner now, not us. The red corner is going to go after him, not us. Everyone's going after Drew, not us. So maybe we should keep Dru. Which, to be fair, is what I've been saying, you know, many times on the live feed updates, if someone is very easy to take out, you might want to keep them because other people will take them out for you. So Dee starts really trying to plant this. First with Devins, a little later with Angela. And then they all go and talk to Haley and Chuck and Kamu and they find a way by the end of the conversation where Haley and Chuck and Camus almost think it was their idea to keep Drew.
Rob Ciceronino
Yeah.
Chappelle
So Drew is definitely not completely dead in the water at this point. I will not say that he's super safe. I will just say that he's. He's no longer the number one 100% consensus house target at this point.
Rob Ciceronino
Right.
Chappelle
And. And then leading into today, this has continued some pretty funny conversations where just like, everyone's kind of like, you know, Yoshel will talk to D and be like, hey, so, like, still. Still Drew, right? And. And he's like, I don't know, maybe you should go talk to Haley and Chuck and Kamu. I'm not sure. I'm not 100% sure. So there's kind of a lot of that going on. But I would say at this point, where we're at Wednesday evening, Drew, but by far, Melody is in the worst spot. I would say the most likely to go home if she does not directly win the blockbuster. It's a little bit of a toss up between Dru and Melody if it comes. If Lyric wins the blockbuster. And then I think the. The Drew lyric is a little confusing because Chuck and Kamu definitely still really running with wanting to keep Lyric. And also Yash is feeling that way because, you know, these boys.
Rob Ciceronino
Final two, just really want to keep a final two.
Chappelle
Oh, yeah. Yeah. Do they have a name for their final two?
Mary
Fake.
Chappelle
Got anything false?
Mary
It's not a. It's not real. This is not real. These mufflers is not real. They're not. They're not. They can't wait to throw each other.
Chappelle
Is it real?
Morgan Pope
Is it.
Chappelle
Is it really Yash at all?
Rob Ciceronino
I think it's real to you. I do think there is a name for. For that Final two. We'll see if the chat has it.
Chappelle
It's. Yeah, it's. It's really tricky to see 100% where we're at right now because at this point, D is like, oh, all in on keeping Drew, and she's starting to really get frustrated with Haley and Kamu and chuck for not 100% being in on that. And she's starting to get a little suspicious of Angela because it's just sometimes Angela will come back down and be like, yeah, I don't know. I heard some conversations, and I'm so tired. I don't exactly know what was happening. It's like, lock in Angela. What are we doing? So I'm not. I'm not 100% sure on what Angela's doing because, I mean, this was originally
Rob Ciceronino
Angela's plan to get feigning like that.
Morgan Pope
That.
Rob Ciceronino
That if they don't know what's going, it's like, wait, what? Where am I? What is this?
Mary
Like, when did we start playing Big Brothers?
Rob Ciceronino
Yeah, I'm just like, I'm old. I don't know anymore.
Mary
Tell me what. Yeah, tell me what you want to do.
Rob Ciceronino
Tell me.
Mary
Tell me your plans. Yeah, this is. This is bad. It's just bad in general. So obviously, they should have never been going for Drew if they were just going to do this. He should not have been up on the block because he has reason to now put you on the block, and you could be his pawn, or if he's smart, he'll just go ahead and take a shot at you because you started it, and now he can. You've given him reason to turn on this alliance, and before, you could have just been like, no, we all are sticking together until you're ready to take the shot. Now you kind of, like, took a soft shot, and now you're trying to reel it back in like it didn't already happen. Luckily for us or for them, Drew seemingly does not really care that much. He's kind of like, oh, yeah, I might put them on the block and see how they like it. But, like, no, you should be saying, I'm going to target them. I'm putting all three of them up, and I want one of them out next week. But the problem with D. Like, kind of reeling this back in is that everybody in the house knows that Drew was 24 hours away from going home. Unanimously, he was. Everybody was ready. I mean, they sharpening their knives. They were ready to take Drew out. So now to come to go back on it, it'd be crazy if, I don't know, Drew won hoh and then everybody said, you know who really wanted you out? D. And Angela and Devins. And they've been lying to you all week, and even Barrett. No, you know, that's what you don't want happening. But unfortunately, I guess they didn't think that far ahead.
Chappelle
What are the odds that next week, if Drew stays, D. And Devin start going, man, you know, the only flaw in this plan is that Barrett knows that Drew was. Was the target for a while. So really, we really need to get Barrett out now because he knows too much.
Rob Ciceronino
He's talking to Mallory so much, they're
Mary
gonna say, Drew put Barrett up as a pawn. That's gonna make total sense. And judging by the way Drew's been playing, I'm not sure I wouldn't be shocked if he actually did it, but this is. This is not great, but it's. It's interesting tv. Now, Mary, I've been tracking the fandom and what they want, and everybody's been saying, I want the tool shed to dissolve, but Drew is On the block. The tool shed is on the block. Mary, why aren't people rooting for Drew to go home?
Chappelle
Because he. Because he doesn't really even want to be in the tool shed despite the fact that he named it.
Mary
Yeah, Keep the name.
Rob Ciceronino
This whole shed.
Mary
If he's gone, I would want it back.
Chappelle
I feel like it's ridiculous to keep the name of an alliance where you actively got one person out and then, like, ostracize the other because Barrett's. I mean, ostracize. Too strong of a word. You've just, like, ghosted. They ghosted Barrett. That's what they've done to the point
Rob Ciceronino
where Angela even tells me without Barrett.
Chappelle
Yeah.
Mary
Yeah.
Chappelle
And then Angela's even, like, talked to Barrett today, and she's like, you know, they're always in groups, and you never go up there and talk to them as if it's, like, Barrett's fault for not being included in conversations. And Angel's like, your. Your voice matters, Barrett. You need to go up there. My voice doesn't matter enough for them to invite me up here.
Mary
I do like the idea that if he gets voted out, they do keep the name. I think back to. I know we already referenced Tyler once, but, you know, when level six votes out is that Rachel. They're like, level five. What? Level six? Who was that? What? Rachel Who? But yeah, Drew should be going out of the door, and then Angela and her goodbye message should say something about keeping the tool shed name. And then Drew will say, what's wrong with Angela as we all say goodbye to this player who's been walking around with the dun cap on the entire week. Barry, to me, I think the fandom is a sucker, and I guess Mary and I know you are a victim of this too. You're a sucker for a showmance. And Drew and Melody. Yeah. Where was I going with that? The Drew and Melody. I think it's too tempting. I think. I think the fans want it. Too bad, Mary.
Chappelle
Yeah. I mean, and that's what's tricky with them both being up on the block and everything. And it's will they?
Rob Ciceronino
Won't they? We love it.
Mary
Come on, vote them out. You always vote out you. This is why showmances have been so polarizing over the years, because you always vote out the showmance. Because if they start winning and trading HoHs, what are you going to do to stop them? This is the perfect time to take out Drew or Melody. The question is, will they do it?
Chappelle
Yeah. This is why I love the showmances. That actively are working against each other within the house, but still have that love, the. The. The Romeo and Juliet showmances. Those are fun because, like, right now, like, Kamu is looking at. He's like, yeah, we got to start looking at Barrett and Mallory because, you know, they're the new Drew and Melody.
Morgan Pope
I'm like, in what way?
Chappelle
So just, like, we're just talking about just any two pairs, Just any two
Rob Ciceronino
people, men and women, camping in alliance together.
Chappelle
Lyric and Yash, they talk. They talked one time in the storage room. You know, a power couple. Yeah. Power couple.
Rob Ciceronino
Yeah. All right, so to go through it one last time, if. If we have a Drew wins the blockbuster, Melody is going home. Yes. If Lyric wins the blockbuster at this hour, Melody is going home. If Melody wins the blockbuster, Drew TBD is going home. Probably.
Chappelle
I think Dee and Devins are still going to fight. Their plan at this point is to tell Yash right before the vote tomorrow that they're actually keeping Drew. However, I'm not sure if that's in the Drew versus Lyric scenario or just the Drew versus Melody scenario, but. Because, yeah, they even said at the end of the night, they're like, maybe we should. Maybe we should go tell Haley again that Kami was flirting with Lyric. Maybe we should. Maybe we should do that.
Rob Ciceronino
Yeah.
Mary
Yeah. Rob Asia called this a Survivor move, waiting right before a tribal council to go and tell Yash something at the last second.
Rob Ciceronino
Yeah, look, that's how Dee and Devins are playing this.
Mary
I. I appreciate the Survivor players from the. The chaos they can just bring just by waiting around all week. You know, we saw Cere do that the entire first half of her season, and now they're doing it all again. You know, it seems like we are one plan, but by the time Wednesday rolls around, White Rice Wednesday happens, and, you know, they get to waffling.
Rob Ciceronino
Yeah. I mean, it's really fun for D and Devins. They're really, like, playing this season from that position, and we talked to Rizzo on Monday, but from that, like, siree Ozzy Rizzo position where they're actually in the middle of everything, but that's not how people are actually looking at them. And they could really go in any direction that they want. I wonder. And I don't think that they are. Either of them are going to throw the HOH competition, but it kind of feels like a bad time for either of them to win the hoh.
Chappelle
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Mary
Everybody. Yeah, they're in line with basically everybody. I'm not saying you know, we've talked about how throwing a competition could be bad for you. They. But it does look like all the guns are pointed at the red corner. I think the one person they really have to be worried about is Mallory because. Because she won't put up the entire red corner. At least she said that in the episode tonight. There is that last spot. She said Lala.
Rob Ciceronino
Yeah, because.
Mary
Because what is Lala doing? But, you know, she did have the have it out for D for like, the first two weeks. Weeks or so.
Rob Ciceronino
I think she's over it.
Mary
We'll see.
Chappelle
We'll see. Rob and Chappelle, if it was up to you, who do you want to for. For best fun feeds, who do you want to go home this week?
Rob Ciceronino
Okay. I have been team Lyric all through the season. I think that she is a very dangerous player. I think she's very capable. But I kind of feel like her story's over. If she left the show, I. I think that that would be the least she could just pluck her out. Let's send her off to go be with Rome. She's kind of out of Runway. I also think that if she got an hoh, I'm not convinced she wouldn't go after her friends with her own.
Chappelle
Is that she's just gonna side with Kamara, Chuck if they have power.
Rob Ciceronino
Yeah. She's like, what am I going to do for, like, get one of them out of the house or. Or what if I could really, like, show my loyalty and be safe for like, six weeks? So I think that I would pick for Lyric to go. Even though she's on my draft team and I've been very high on her skills, I would root for Lyric to go home.
Mary
I think Lyric made the mistake of getting in a very public showmance because I think lyrics game as it is, which is, you know, kind of cozy up to everybody, tell them what they want to hear, maybe flirt a little bit. It works. If you and Rome didn't just have a big ass long kiss in front of everybody and announce your love to everyone. You know, like, maybe Chuck or Kamu could fall for it. But eventually, once they start to compare notes and they will compare notes, everyone just found out about lyrics tactics. You know, she has thrown everybody under the bus. She has flirted with multiple people. She has done all these things. So it's like, if she stays, what game does she have? Unless she immediately wins hoh and does something big, I don't trust her to do that. I think that Drew and Melody in the House together could be interesting because Melody will take the shot. She hates Haley enough to. She will take the shot even if Drew doesn't want to. And then we'll have to see him kind of have to navigate what that looks like. A showmance is a big target. That'll get some attention going, that'll get some fighting going. So I think. I think it's got to be Lyric. As much as I was appreciating her as a player, I guess this week, just seeing her do those self interested things, I think it's time to go.
Rob Ciceronino
Respect for Lyric, Send her to Love Island. She's a. She's a superstar. But I think that you need Melody is kind of like the glue, I think, with keeping the other side together where that. She's the. She's friends with Mallory. Without Melody, Drew is like locked in with like Devins and Barrett. And I think that for there to be another side of the house, I think you need Melody over there.
Chappelle
I agree.
Mary
Yeah. Okay, we'll see.
Rob Ciceronino
Anything else going into Thursday?
Sponsor/Ad Voice
No.
Rob Ciceronino
We got some action this week, right? It's like we were sort of like, this is a long week for us. But it turned out to have something. Some juice.
Chappelle
Look. Good gameplay or bad gameplay? The thing we liked about Big Brother 27, which we saw a little about in the last couple days, was just people, mostly people in power just kind of changing their own decisions and running around and doing stuff. The worst thing you can have in Big Brother is when the people in power all just collectively go, okay, let's just sit back and relax for the rest of the week.
Mary
That's it.
Chappelle
And then nothing happens. We like it when people make bad decisions sometimes because then at least things are happening.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
Okay.
Mary
And we like mess. I like mess. I'm like, Angela, I want to see. Hey, Haley, you mad because you think Kamu likes Lyric? Don't you expound on that. You know, share more things. That's what I want to see. I want to see the people.
Chappelle
You're a messy boy.
Rob Ciceronino
Messy boy. Messy boy.
Mary
Messy boy. Messy boy.
Rob Ciceronino
Okay.
Mary
All right.
Rob Ciceronino
Well, it's shaping up to be a busy Thursday once again here on rhap and lots of stuff coming up on Thursday. We'll kick it off with the live feed update and then ultimately a eviction episode on Thursday night. So much going on over on our Patreon. Also, of course, when you become a patron of Rob is a podcast. Not only do you get access to all sorts of great commercial free content, it's a great way to support the podcast and also be a part of the RHAP community on Facebook and Discord as well. We've got also the Slop, and boy, what a banger the Slop was this week. Chappelle.
Mary
Yeah, Haley made a witch ass move, and so we had the Etsy Witch on to talk about it, and I was not prepared to do that. As y' all know, I don't move like that. But because the BB streets wanted it, we got to interview the Etsy Witch and ask her why or when. I guess I should say, when are we gonna get our refund from that? From that week when Kamu was getting Jason out the block, off the out the game. So we talked about all that and more on the slot, but you can only see that behind the paywall because, uh, it gets a little explicit.
Rob Ciceronino
It gets a little too crazy. Yeah.
Mary
So, yeah, it's a little grown up. That's an adult podcast.
Rob Ciceronino
Check that out. Okay. And then also on Wednesday, we posted our BB mailbag. So Taryn and I went through all of the win probabilities for all of the players left in the game. And I don't want to give you the exact numbers, but it's looking good for the vets is what our official determination is. Plus, we're answering your mailbag questions every week over on Patreon on Friday. I'll be also taking your calls. I also like to hear your hot takes about the Big Brother season, 3pm Eastern on Friday. For that, I also have my Summer of Stein with Eric Stein coming up on Thursday as well. We'll post that Thursday afternoon. So when the feeds are getting a little slow before the eviction, check out the Summer of Stein. Chappelle, you and David got together. Tell us why Jason lost.
Mary
We did. We talked about why Jason lost and this. And then this week, we will be talking about how X lost this week. We don't know who that person is yet. We'll find out when everybody else does. And then David will take us through his rules about how to lose Big Brother. At least what these people did wrong that would cause them to lose Big Brother. And so that should be up on Saturday.
Rob Ciceronino
Okay. And then over on our Survivor podcast feed, Mike Bloom and I have been talking with iconic survivors about their epic episodes of Survivor. And we talked with Sandra Diaz Twine this past week about the Survivor Pearl Islands premiere fun podcast. Be sure to check that out. And of course, you can catch up with what all of the Big Brother alumni are saying every single night ever, all throughout the day. As well over on Chat BCC. Go to BB28Chat to check out ChatBCC for free. All right, Mary, what's coming up for you?
Chappelle
You can check out the podcasting I'm doing over on the free agents pod, Millennial TV with Matt Liguori and otherwise Big Brother coverage. And the next time a lot of people see me, be at Rapcon. So everyone make sure you're going. It's gonna be a great time there.
Rob Ciceronino
Yes.
Chappelle
I don't know. It should let me know. Send me a message on Twitter. Who maybe from inside the Big Brother house, would you like to see there? Would you like to see the Etsy Witch? Who would you?
Rob Ciceronino
Wow. Okay. I didn't know we contact TV time capsule.
Chappelle
Yeah, yeah, vote, vote. Let me know. Yeah, it might be interesting to show up.
Rob Ciceronino
I don't know, Mary. I'm disappointed. We didn't get a, a pop in. We got a pop in from Morgan, but not from Frail Daddy to give us a joke.
Chappelle
Yeah, not today. That only happens when I'm, when I'm at my parents house. Yeah, yeah, Frail Daddy, you know, he'll, he'll show up again, I'm sure.
Rob Ciceronino
Okay. All right, Chappelle, what's going on for you?
Mary

Host: Rob Cesternino with guests Chappelle, Mary, and special guest Morgan Pope (BB27)
This episode dives deep into the Big Brother 28 Week 4 Veto events, live feed strategy shifts, and analysis of current houseguest dynamics. The RHAP team welcomes BB27’s Morgan Pope for a detailed, behind-the-scenes look at hosting this week’s Veto competition. The panel addresses shifting alliances, standout personalities, edit choices, and possible power moves heading into the next HOH. Engaging and lighthearted, this recap is excellent for both live feed enthusiasts and casual viewers.
Morgan Pope returns as the Veto Comp host, sharing candid stories about her return to the house (05:03).
The comp’s murder-mystery/time travel theme included elaborate masquerade costumes, deadpan performances, and interactive theatrics (15:18).
Morgan describes keeping secrets from the houseguests and resisting live feed slips (07:02).
Notable: Players like Taylor stood out for reading body language and asking follow-up questions, which set her apart as a competition beast (12:01).
Quote:
“Taylor really was so good at it... She seemed to be the only person asking follow-up questions and wanting to gauge reactions. She was a strong player at this.” — Rob Cesternino (12:01)
The comp took roughly two hours to film; eliminated HGs ("the dead") had to stay prone the entire time (15:08).
Praise for BB’s upgraded costuming and immersive set design enhancing the episode’s entertainment value (16:53).
Quote:
“They’ve always been so great with their costumes… I felt so royal and fancy. It was, it was so great.” — Morgan Pope (16:23)
The panel discusses how Haley’s negative edit is leaning into her “hard week/month” lament, with Melody as a comedic foil (03:35).
Quote:
“I loved how much the edit put in every time she said what a hard week it’s been… The edit is having fun with Haley.” — Rob Cesternino (03:35)
Melody’s diary rooms and overt disdain for Haley spark audience support (“the stock rise on anybody, I’m a big Melody fan after this episode.” — Mary, 03:55).
The recurring “Pipe Queen” nickname for Mallory gained meta-status after Morgan referenced it, blurring feed culture with the show (08:07).
Quote:
“What a thrill when you’re using… like when Megan Thee Stallion came to Love Island and talked about Kenzie do the clam slam.” — Rob Cesternino (09:13)
Discussion of how certain “Littles” (Mallory, Lyric) are edited as sweet underdogs, while others (Drew/Chuck) are poked fun at for lack of awareness or charisma (“Chuck GBT”).
Hayley’s HOH reign is painted as both entertaining television and strategically questionable.
Panel notes her hypocrisy in targeting Lyric for throwing friends under the bus, when “she’d have found a reason to put Lyric up no matter what” (38:50).
Quote:
“She’s pretty hypocritical. If she didn’t throw friends under the bus, Haley would have come after Lyric anyhow.” — Rob Cesternino (38:50)
Morgan and panel agree that, regardless of personal takes, Haley's "villain" arc is boosting the show's entertainment.
Likely recipients for the next BB time capsule power, according to the panel:
Quote:
“For best fun feeds, who do you want to go home this week?...I think Lyric's story is done… Melody is kind of the glue for the other side.” — Rob Cesternino (79:08–81:32)
The fandom craves a power flip: if the “red corner” controls another week, many worry viewers will check out due to predictability (28:47).
"Taylor really was so good at it... She seemed to be the only person asking follow-up questions and wanting to gauge reactions. She was a strong player at this."
— Rob Cesternino [12:01]
"You gotta channel the Etsy Witch, of course."
— Chappelle [02:55]
"I would have grabbed Drew by his shoulders and just shook them like an Etch A Sketch."
— Mary [07:31]
"The edit is having fun with Haley."
— Rob Cesternino [03:35]
"I want to just scoop you guys up and come in here and, like, rip this house apart because I'm so sick of, like, what's happening to them."
— Morgan Pope [23:52]
"You don't have a final say in the round...I think for example, like, Haley wasn't picked in either round, so she was always the one who had to read the person and not know. So I feel like that's more of, like, the crapshoot end of it."
— Morgan Pope [13:06]
"She's the fun TV character to hate."
— Rob Cesternino [30:31]
"Pawn means you are possibly going home."
— Mary [59:53]
"Messy boy, messy boy!"
— Rob Cesternino, Mary [82:34–82:39]
This recap delivers the essential twists, turns, and personality spotlights from BB28’s pivotal Week 4. It combines Morgan’s firsthand Veto insights, incisive RHAP panel banter, and live feed analysis to surface the season’s shifting power dynamics.
