Hey everybody what's going on? Rob Cestrinino. We are back here to talk some more Big Brother. This has been an ongoing series talking with our many Survivor friends about what's going on. Taran, how are you doing?
Taryn Armstrong
Great. Happy to be here.
Rob Cesternino
Okay. And we are thrilled here to talk with a person. It's been too long since this person has been on television. We need to get him back. Of course. From Survivor 49 and 50, it's the R I Z G O D. The man, the myth, the legend. Riz God, baby.
Home Depot Announcer
Rob.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
It's an honor to be here, finally talking to Rob about stuff that's not Survivor related. Another passion of mine, which is Big Brother. So I'm super excited to debut my BB knowledge to the fandom. So I'm excited to talk to you and Taryn today.
Rob Cesternino
And so we'd love to hear your takes on everything. Riz God, were you one Rick Devins? No. Away from being a Big Brother 28 contestant?
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
So this is a very loaded question here because if you ask me personally. Yes. If they asked me to do it, I would have said yes. If you asked my family a la Liz. God. It might have been a discussion otherwise, but if Rick Devin said no, then I don't know, there might have been a conversation where I would have gotten the diamond power of veto on BB28.
Rob Cesternino
I think it's reasonable to assume that you were the next phone call.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
I don't know. I think I would like to think there is never enough Riz God in the air. But also, I. I think I fit the BB demographic. That's what I'll say. I think for me, I'm young, I'm funny, I'm a super fan of the shows. Like, I fit the typecasting they do for Big Brother. So I would assume that if Rick said no and if Coach wasn't available, that I'd probably be somebody they'd call.
Rob Cesternino
Yeah. I mean, who else are they calling?
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
I mean, I don't know. I. It's a great question. I mean, Christian would have been great. He wouldn't have done it. Yeah, he probably wouldn't have. Yeah. I don't know. I think I probably would have been the next best up because everybody else on Survivor 50 is relatively older. I mean, Rick is the oldest contestant aside from Angela, I believe so. Like, yeah, you know, assuming they want
Rob Cesternino
one man and one woman, you know, Ceri's not gonna do it, so. But excited to hear that because I didn't know this about you in your backstory that you are a big Big Brother fan. Yeah.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
You know, it all started back in Big Brother 12. I remember, you know, watching Survivor, obviously, Survivor, token chains. That was around 2008, 2009. And then BB12 was like 2012. And there was like a promo after. I forgot what Survivor season it might have been. Maybe South Pacific, I don't know. It was one of the seasons. And, you know, they're doing the cringy thing. I'm like, oh, I'm gonna watch this. And then I really liked Enzo because he was from New Jersey. The meow meow. And then I started watching and then I loved the brigade. And then I got into it. Then I started watching feeds on Big Brother 14, which is why, like, I have like a, you know, a rock hard crush on Dan Dieseling because I saw the guy.
Rob Cesternino
Rock hard crush is pretty graphic. Yeah.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
I didn't know what to say. Aside from how much I fucking love Dan Geesling. I'm excited to watch him on Destination X. Yeah. But you know, Dan Geesling, watching him live on BB14 and the feeds and dance Funeral, I was like, holy shit, this is the best show ever. And then, you know, BB15 hit and they're like, oh, shit. Like, maybe it's not that good. And then, then after that, I've kind of been really into Big Brother. I would say Big Brother 21 was like the last season. I really got into the feed, so I kind of fell off and as a show watcher and a feeds watcher as. And then just followed the show through Twitter because, like, BB 21 and 22 was rough. Cookout was great. And then, like, I feel like the last few seasons were bad. And then 27 for me. I got back into the feeds because of Rachel Riley, obviously one of the people that I grew up watching. And then now I have a much invested interest because, like, Rick and D, not only did I play with them, but they're like genuinely really good friends of mine and they didn't tell me they played, so those darn. But no, I'm super excited for them and they're killing it so far.
Taryn Armstrong
Yeah. I mean, killing it is an understatement at this point. I mean, I. It must be like, it's so interesting because I think that when you have a rooted interest when you're watching Big Brother, it's usually incredibly stressful because not only are people talking about them outside of the house, but like, in the house, there's always like whispers and like, you're. As a player in Big Brother, you're Usually, like one hoh away from being in some trouble, but in this instance, Devin's indeed. They're like five HOHs away from being in trouble, so it must be kind of like a little bit stress free in that sense.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
Yeah. It's so funny because I'm watching Rick and D through two lenses, right? Like, in my personal rooting interest, where it's like I legit want them to win the money because I know how. How much it would mean to them and their family. But also it's like, ah, you know, like, I. I can't invest all this time that I want to watch with you guys if you're, like, aligned with the people I don't like watching. And it's kind of a cakewalk. Right? So, like, strategically, they're doing a great job aligning with Kamu, aligning with Haley, because not only are they winning hohs, but they're, like, not likable people. So, like, it might be in their best interest to go to the end of these people because they could beat them in a jury vote. But it's like, do I really want to watch Haley and Kamu and Chuck GPT? Like, go all the way.
Rob Cesternino
Chuck GPT?
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
Yeah, if, you know, you know, it's a little Twitter lore, but, yeah, I, I think it makes sense for them to align with the red corner, but, like, I'm more invested in, like, the Mallorys, the melodies, the Drews, which I'm sure we'll talk about as well. Yeah, that and the Taylors, like, the people that are kind of like the underdogs. I feel like that's. That's what most of the Survivor, rather the Big Brother fandom always roots for, is the underdogs. And right now, not only are D and Rick not even overdogs, they're like superior powers, which I was worried for Rick. And I think Rob, you infamously tweeted, like, when Rick gets on the block three times in a row and wins pov, it's gonna hit like crack. And I just don't see that in Rick's cards at all. I thought Rick was gonna do that as well, but he's really impressed me. D. I suspected that she was my winner pick before the season, and she's, like, legitimately destroying the game. Like, she's killing it. Obviously, Big Brother, the difference between Survivor and Big Brother is the length of this show. Right. But for the first four weeks, I mean, like, this is, to me, like Tyler, Crispin, Paul, BB19 levels of, like, strangleholds on the game. And I think she's killing it.
Rob Cesternino
Yeah. You know, in terms of Rick Devins, when we talked about what it was going to look like with Rick Devins going into the house and of course, coming off of Survivor 50, that this attitude of YOLO, the joint, joy, find the fun. He's chaotic. He's doing the most out there, and he's kind of gone into the big Brother house. And, you know, there was that one night when he won the HOH and was like, hey, let's blow the whole thing up. But he's really, like, found his inner lavasser at. In the house where it's like, how do I. How do I really just try to, like, stay out of the drama from here on out? And this was not a turn that I foresaw with Rick Devins.
Taryn Armstrong
Yeah.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
And I think a lot of the feedback or a lot of the worry that me and some of the Survivor alumni had with Rick was like, oh, he's gonna get bored and go absolutely crazy. Because as someone that's played with Rick, I know how much Rick can handle of the Riz. God. Right. Like, I knew that there was times where Rick didn't really enjoy spending all the, you know, cinema and all that stuff. And I thought, like, damn, if he couldn't deal with one of me. Imagine like 10 of me and big Brother. But he's done a really good job just separating himself. You're his training wheels. I was. I was. Which, as somebody that's kind of watching the feeds, I feel a little bit bad for Drew, and I think we'll get into it, but I think Drew kind of playing the middle and, you know, mentioning my name kind of gives Rick alarm bells.
Crocs and Starbucks Advertiser
Was like, shit.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
Like, Rizzo kind of did this a little bit. Like, I can't let Drew do the same thing. So I think Rick is on his A game right now, and I'm honestly super proud of him.
Taryn Armstrong
Yeah, I think that's an interesting comparison. Obviously, people have sort of made a little bit of a comparison between you and Drew just in terms of, like, your age. And Drew is such, like, a. A funny character on the show. But. But yeah, I think that it's interesting that you're saying that you think that Devin's might be actually seeing a little bit of you in Drew and that being part of what makes him wary, because I think he was drawn to Drew initially, somebody that he really liked. And then obviously, Angela had this suspicion of Drew, and it eventually kind of bled through. Now, like, we know that Drew actually is very loyal to Devins. And so the idea that Devins is like cutting Drew off now feels like it actually could be like if there is such a thing as a mistake in the position that Devin's indeed are in, that they're so untouchable. It does feel like Drew could be valuable at least to. To Devin's game because he's so loyal. But, you know, you never really know. How do you feel about that when Devin. When it comes to Devins and. And Drew?
Rob Cesternino
Yeah.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
I think for Devin specifically, this is a misstep in my opinion. But at the end of the day with like kind of what you were saying, with Rick being in such a high power position, I don't really think there is a mistake for him to be like, to really happen for him. But this is definitely a misstep in his game because Rick needs to have parachutes. Right. Because Rick can't just rely on D to go to the end of the game. Rick needs side alliances. He needs side number twos. And I think he did find that with Drew, Barrett and Rick. And I think Barrett and I do have some qualms with Barrett and I'm sure we'll get there. But Barrett is a true student of the game. I know Barrett knows the history with veterans or attorneys always making it deep. So you want to align with them in the beginning. And I think Drew kind of knows that as well. And I think that's why Drew is a little bit blinded about his position because he thinks, oh my God, I've given them everything I need to give them. Like they assume that I'm loyal to them. But Rick doesn't realize because I think whether it's the comparison with me or really just the Angela of it all, Angela worries me long term for Rick and D because she's. Granted Angela's actually doing really well in a strategic sense because what she wants to happen is happening. I just think it's a misread. Just like a lot of BB26 was for Angela in terms of who's really against her. But I think Drew going home for Rick is not a good thing because Drew is loyal to Rick, whereas D letting go of Rick or, sorry, D letting go of Drew doesn't really matter because D has Chuck, Haley, Kamu lyric now. Like, D has a lot of people to rely on, whereas I don't know if Rick's web reaches as. As far and as wide as these, you know.
Rob Cesternino
So the comparisons with Drew to you have been made by many people, including recently Drew himself. We have a clip to show you. Okay, check. Check this out.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
Maybe he should have come back four seasons. Like, in four seasons, like, you know, like, this guy's just too young to be there. What else could they say?
Rob Cesternino
They could say this guy's a wannabe
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
big brother Rizzo, right? Dr. More. Is that what you say? Oh. Oh, I thought you. No, no, I heard it. I heard it.
Crocs and Starbucks Advertiser
No, I.
Rob Cesternino
Maybe. Okay. Hey, big brother Rizzo.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
Yeah, I know. It's so crazy to know that, like, my lore on the Survivor CBS reality space has now crossed over to big Brother, Especially as someone that's been such a huge fan. I think in ways there are similarities. I've seen, you know, content creators, like, make the similarities. I think in some ways we are similar, right? Where the young, super energetic, like, super fan, like, the interactions I've had with Jeff, I think Drew is doing it with Julie. I think Drew is kind of playing that middle position, right? Like, he wants to be friends with everyone. And I, like, that's kind of how my game was. I think the difference, though, and it's so much harder to say because Survivor, while it has a lot of nuance, you don't really see that nuance as a viewer, whereas Big Brother, you can see everything about somebody's game if you're really locked into it. I think Drew kind of lacks that self awareness in terms of his position that I had on Survivor, and I feel like Drew is a little lock set in who he's really aligned with. I think what really has faulted Drew is that while he's aligned with the tool shed, spends his majority of his time with Melody, Mallory, and Barrett. And that kind of gives him a bad perception with the side that he's truly on and the fact that he's even on the block right now. And there's people hinting in his alliance, like, Rick has, like, low key told Drew, like, oh, like, you might not be in a good spot. Haley on the feeds yesterday was like, oh, my God, Melody's gonna miss you. And Drew's face, like, dropped. And the fact that it's not clicking in Drew's head right now that he is probably going home is, like, a bad sign to me. I feel like if I was ever used as a pawn, kind of like what Barrett said on the episode yesterday where he's like, up, like, if I'm a possibility, like, I'm done with the tool shed. So I think Drew kind of lacks that self awareness. And while he's in a lot of conversations with a lot of people, he's not really realizing that people are stopping talking strategy when he's entering these rooms.
Rob Cesternino
You know, could we talk a little bit about D? I feel like we've been focused more on Rick Devins. But yeah, you obviously spent time in the game with D and she seemed to be very fond of you, wanted to work with you. So how have you thought that D has done so far?
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
I mean, like, I love D. Like, D is like one of my, you know, close friends from Survivor 50 and I just knew when she was going into. Well, first off, I was shocked she did it. She always told me she did it. So the fact that she's in it, I feel like this game is perfect for her because D is like kind of built in a lab for, like an elite big brother player. You're strategic, you can win competitions. You're super social, you're super friendly. Like, she's single. Like, you know, she can flirt with people if she wants to. She can be super cunning and super strategic. I think D is the complete package and I feel like yesterday's episode, like the Sunday episode prior is a good embodiment of how strategically savvy D is because everybody in the fandom thought Drew had this power that he didn't have because remember, that has been so tight lipped about this BB bride power. And while I don't think the BB bride power is really that game breaking, the fact that D is keeping it close to her chest and not even telling Rick tells not only me but everybody in the fandom how much above she is compared to everybody else. I think my only fear with D going into the season was that she needs to play like a Derek levasseur type game in the sense of like, she can never touch the block because if she touches the block come eviction night, it's almost like a no brainer. Like, I can't keep D here. So as long as D sees herself outside of the block come eviction night, I think it's going to be a cakewalk for her for the rest of the season because she has Angela, she has Rick willing to play his diamond power veto on her. He she has kamu like talking about these do we got to bring her to like as far as we can? Haley, like, she is so connected everywhere and even on the other side she puts up Mallory. And granted, I don't know because I know Mallory has stated that she put up all the icons. I don't know if that's true now, but I don't know if there's anybody in this cast that would put her up at this moment or for the foreseeable future. And if they do, Rick is the showman. I mean, I think the diamond power of veto is kind of Survivor equivalent to an immunity idol in the sense of. I don't. I. I don't want to say that, you know, Rick hit the buzzard and they said, oh, you know what? Rick deserves the diamond power veto. But what I feel like is Rick is the perfect person for the diamond power veto because he would put on a show. So even if D touches the block, I think Rick would use the diamond power veto on her. That's just a testament to how good D is. And I think some people give her a little bit of flack for her Survivor 50 game, but Dee has made it very apparent that Survivor 50 for her was just kind of like an honor to be there. There was no point of her cementing her legacy because her legacy was already cemented. So she kind of just went out there and had fun. She wanted to be messy. She wanted to, you know, get that itch out. She did. And now she's on BB28 killing it. And I think for how it's looking, she's going to end up being the winner of the season.
Taryn Armstrong
Tell me more about this, the bribe power, how you feel about this. Because while I think it is obviously a signal to us that she's really playing and we have questioned, like, what will Devin's do long term with D? Like, will he remain loyal to her all the way until. Until the end? We kind of thought, like, Devin's is certainly more likely to be loyal to D toward the end than D is, and I think that this power situation really showcases that. But there is potentially some danger, right, that, like, if it eventually comes out that she has this power in any way, that is the signal that Devin might need to know. Hold on. Okay. Maybe I don't need to be as loyal to D as I thought. Granted, the power is probably not very. Not powerful enough to really even warrant using it and. And exposing them in the first place. But there is that danger, right?
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
Yeah. You know, it's hard for me because D has proven in all the shows that she's done that she can separate personal relationships from game relationships, whereas Rick and his career has never turned on his ally. He was willing to go to season 50 to the end with Christian and Emily and lose. He was willing to go to the end of Edge of Extinction with Gavin. Granted, he probably would have beaten Gavin, but Rick has never had a bone in his body where he would be disloyal to a very close ally. And I. I don't know because I do feel like if it was la la Rick and D and Rick won final hoh, like he would make the calculated decision, but I think Rick would take D to the end and win. I don't know if D would do the same or I think Rick would take D to the end even if he doesn't know if he wins. Whereas I don't think D would do the same. I think D wants that title of big brother and Survivor winner, whereas Rick would rather say the two Survivor players made it to the end together.
Rob Cesternino
Yeah. I could see where Rick would. In a situation where it would be sort of like a. And I'm trying to think of the right one. It would be like a respect thing of like D, you know, I can't beat you. Like, he would not do anything underhanded to her. But I think he might end up siding with. Let me take D just in case they don't want to give it to the returning player. Just in case it's like I'd rather lose to D than lose to Lala in that situation to a spiteful jury who doesn't want to give it to the returning player. But Mike Bloom had a good tweet this weekend where he ended up bringing us back to Survivor 45, where he brought up about how D hit from Austin the whole time that she actually told Julie to play the idol on the vote where Emily went home, where D is one. She will. She will keep a secret to herself where that. That's just not something that's in Rick's DNA.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
Right? Yeah. And I agree. And at first I forgot the BB18BB bribe lore. So when I first saw that D got the BB bribe, I'm like, holy crap. She's just going to convince the person at final three to take her to final two with the bride. But luckily I found out that they can reject it. So I personally don't think the BB bride is that game altering, the game changing. The only way I can see it changing is if she goes to somebody and it says, like, I need you to flip on this boat. I'll give you five grand to do it. And they're like, like Drew, I think, would have been the perfect person to give this bribe to because he's kind of somebody that I feel like is a chaos agent. He's like, oh, five grand to do something that will cause chaos. Like, absolutely. Sure. So I don't really Think and do I think Rick will be upset that D hides it from him if it comes out while they're both in the game? I mean, sure, naturally, but I don't think it's that game breaking to where he'll care all that much.
Rob Cesternino
Yeah. And D is also good at covering for that. Where she tends to, I think, bring up, like, oh, you know, I didn't, I, I did it for you, or I, I didn't want you to get pissed. Or like, she's really good at coming up with, like, an emotional reason that makes people understand why she did a thing she did.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
Yeah. I mean, I think you just look at her relationship between the icons between Angela and Rick. Right. Like, when she's with Angela, they're like acting super paranoid, acting like the world's gonna end or they're in front of the cameras, like, we're gonna come after you. Like, she knows how to mask herself with who she's talking to. And then when she talks to Rick, she's a lot more cool, calm and collected. Whereas when she talks to Angela, she's like, spiking up the paranoia and trying to, like, kind of use Angela as like her wrecking ball. Right. Like, whenever she needs something to go down, she'll pry Angela to do that because Rick was that for us on Survivor 50. But the fact that Rick is now the cool call and collected one shows me that Rick is really playing the game and I'm super, super proud of him. I expected D to be elite at the game. Rick I was a little nervous with, but right now, Rick is smooth sailing.

Are you seeing any parallels in the way that Survivor 50 was played and the way that D and Devins are operating here in Big Brother 28?
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
Honestly, as of this moment, no. I think what I do see the parallels are is I think Rick and D and Angela to a sense are kind of playing the Rizzo Surrey Ozzy position where there are two factions. But I think the factions on Big Brother 28 are more apparent. Whereas Big or Survivor 50, I feel like no one really knew who was where. Like it all just felt like one big cluster. But I think Dee and Rick are doing a great job going to the red corner and it's like oh my God, Drew, we got to get Drew out and then we're going to Barrett Drew and the other side is like, ah, yeah, I can't stand Kambu, Chuck and Haley. Like they're doing a great middle position. Which Rick mentioned something to Angela on the feeds was like oh, like are we worried that Drew's gonna expose our game when he gets evicted? And I don't know if Drew's gonna do that. I think Drew's just gonna be in the moment blindsided and kind of walk out. But if Drew does expose the crossovers and the red corner and the tool shed, that really exposes Rick and D and I feel like it will put them in a precarious situation. I think Survivor 50, it's hard, right, because Survivor 50 had pre existing relationships whereas Big Brother 28, like they're, they're just kind of like Melody, Mallory, Lala, Taylor and Yash against, you know, the red corner. And I gotta say, listen, I know we're all clowning on Yash right now, but aside from Rick and D, I think Yash is playing the best game and I think he's got like BB18, Paul upside two guys that didn't really watch the show kind of were on the bottom but are kind of good with everyone in the middle position and kind of win out towards the end. I'm not saying Yash is going to be a two time runner up in big brother but I think he's got some big promise and right now, aside from the vets, I'm planting my flag. I think Yash might be the player or could be a really good player moving forward.
Rob Cesternino
Wow. The hottest of takes from Rizzo. Let me just go back to the survivor 50 and the cerise Rizzard of Oz of it all. So certainly so D is siree, Angela is Ozzy and Rick Devins has become the Rizzo. Correct. Yeah, I think that's fair and not dissimilar in terms of like the red corner is kind of like the honor and loyalty zoom alliance people like. So there's some similarities.
Taryn Armstrong
I could see it.
Rob Cesternino
Yeah.

Mallory and Melody are like kind of like Christian and Emily and that wreck the middle people. The middle. I think. Yeah. You know, the more do you say it, Rob, I kind of see the vision. I see the vision. I think.
Botox Chronic Migraine Informant
Yeah.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
Kind of like what Ceres Rose did, we just kind of ping ponged back and forth and I think that's what Rick and D are kind of doing masterfully.
Rob Cesternino
Yeah.
Taryn Armstrong
Yeah. It's interesting because during 50 I, I talked a lot about how like I felt like the, the you three were operating and that serene particular seemed so influenced by her big brother experience to the point where like she had some confessionals that reminded me of big brother diary room sessions she did where it's like I've got This alliance and I've got this alliance. I can barely remember how many. All I have. And I was like, ah, look at that. There's, I think, a little bit of Big Brother seeping in here. And now I think, yeah, we're getting a little bit of the reverse as well where, like, you know, whether maybe they're conscious of it or not, I have to imagine that the. Their experience in 50 for Devin and D is in part influencing the way that they are approaching this season. And, you know, theoretically it should. Should probably go better for them ultimately than it did for, unfortunately, the three of you. But. But we'll see.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
Yeah. I think what's really interesting in terms of, like, the two parallels that they have is that Rick did worse placement wise, but he really cemented his Survivor legacy on Survivor 50 and I think D kind of does the same because she was the last winner standing. So, like Big Brother right now to see how dominant they're playing, whether you can argue the BB time capsule or having the first hoh, you can argue all these things. But also, like, there has been returning players in the past that haven't played as well as Rick and D right now, in my opinion. So they are still playing a very good game. Obviously they got some trinkets to help them, but I think they are now kind of cementing that they are, you know, great strategic players. And I think obviously they're. I don't want to say obviously, but, you know, there's rumblings between the Big Brother and Survivor community. Which game's harder, which game's easier. And right now Rick and D are putting out for Survivor pretty well.
Rob Cesternino
So, yeah, if this is a hard thing to hold in our hands where, you know, for the survivors out there, you know, you're proud that Rick and D have come in and have done so well and are really dominating the game. But on the one hand, Rizzo, they're making it look too easy. And I'm worried that Survivor players will never be invited back to Big Brother because it's just like looking like child's play. It's like, I want to see you play Big Brother and now I'm worried I'm never gonna get that chance.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
Yeah, you know, they, they gotta think about, you know, us youngings like the R I Z God that wants to complete the trifecta right now. I can't do it because they're making it look so easy. Listen, I think the great thing about Big Brother is that the game is very, very long. And look at Rachel Riley. Rachel was dominating BB27 for the first half, and then just, you know, twist, bada boom, bada bing. And then I are. You can argue that Big Brother 27 almost got better with the social dynamics after Rachel left. And I think while I don't want it to happen, I think it could happen here where if Rick gets, you know, know, blindsided or D gets evicted,
Rob Cesternino
like, you know, you're saying, bring the hamster wheel back.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
I. I probably wouldn't say that because I'm a big Rachel Riley, Stan and I would never want to see the White Locust twist come back. I'd rather Mike White.
Rob Cesternino
What if we get Mike White to come back and do the White White Locust?
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
Okay, that would actually be pretty funny. And then Charlie, Camilla, Christian, Angela, they all just kind of come out of the woods and.
Rob Cesternino
Yeah, I'm not sure if you're gonna get Christian also, but.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
Yeah, yeah, you're probably not. Maybe. Maybe a picture,
Taryn Armstrong
but.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
No, I'm serious. Go ahead, Taryn.
Taryn Armstrong
Oh, I just. I just feel like. It feels like to me, like they. They watched what happened. They were like, okay, we loved Rachel on 27. That worked so well. But then, oh, I was too hard for her. So let's. Let's add a couple more returnees and. And give them some advantages to make sure. But it's like she only failed because you threw in the White Locust. This was your faults. This was on you. They're trying to counter their own twists
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
with more advantages and twists, and this might be a hot take, but I think for Rick and D, Angela being there in theory is, like, supposed to make it a little bit harder for them because obviously Big Brother producers know Angela is not a strategic great player, but she's a great personality to have on a show like Big Brother. And we kind of already saw it a couple of weeks ago where Angela exposes that she knows the red corner to Kamu, and it pretty much almost blew up her game until people kind of, like, were helping her backtrack a little bit. So, like, Angela is there to almost be like, a nuisance to Rick and D and see how they play around her. So, like, I don't want to say this has been given to them. They're just doing a really good job.
Rob Cesternino
It's a good point. And, Taren, you've mentioned the traders a couple of times in terms of, like, the good players are going to want to try to bring the dummies to the end, and that is very much the way that the traders work. But I think A lot of times in terms of, like, who they pick to be in the turret, you know, you'll take like, okay, here's Cody, here's Siree. And then also here's like a total wild card that's going to make the lives much harder for the traders. And I wonder if in some way, okay, we know Dee and Devins are going to get along, but now throw Angela in the mix. And I think to their credit, they've done a really good job as managing the Angela situation as good as they possibly could have to this point. But it is, you know, 60 some odd days left to go.
Taryn Armstrong
Yeah, I mean, I, I, I absolutely think that was the intention. I think we even talked about it before the season started and it, I feel like it almost worked. I mean, Angela was one bad night of sleep away from, from walking down the stairs, like, red corner, red corner, red corner. And, and she really wanted to blow up the crossovers, but they, yeah, they were just able to talk her down. The main thing here is that they, I think, were able to get off on a good foot with Angela and really develop an actual bond that she felt comfortable with. And so even when she has these impulses, she, she trusts them enough to talk her down. And, and now she's even feeling like they, they've been proven right. She's like, oh, it was such a good thing that I didn't blow up the crossovers. And so now I think she's going to trust them even more with that kind of advice. So, yeah, it feels like their, their intention of potentially trying to balance in that direction didn't quite, didn't quite land the way that, that maybe it should have.
Botox Chronic Migraine Informant
Yeah.
Rob Cesternino
Rizzo, you said that you had some thoughts on Barrett at this point.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
Yeah, you know, it's, it's tough because I'm so happy for Barrett. I'm so proud of him to be a super fan that I know that he is. It's kind of like, like what I was for Survivor.
Botox Chronic Migraine Informant
Right?
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
Like, I know he's a student of the game and he's playing and it's so much easier to be an armchair quarterback and judging someone's gameplay than actually being in the house. I've never been in the house, so, you know, who knows? If I'm on BB33 and I look like a total, then, you know, we can come back to this time stamp. But I think Barrett isn't realizing the position that he's in. I think very similar to Drew. He realizes that, like, hey, if I align with the veterans. I will make a deep run in this game, and I think right now it's not looking really good. Besides D, whatever, you know, their relationship or dynamic is, she's the only one really protecting Barrett in the tool shed. And Barrett really only has Drew, Mallory, and Melody. And the fact that he's willing to get rid of Drew without telling Drew he's a target should raise alarm bells to him that his standing isn't good. He was willing to vote out Mallory last week to not upset the tool shed, the people that he doesn't like. I feel like he's playing a little too scared and kind of is just playing on placement rather than kind of playing to win. And listen, you don't win Big Brother on week four, I totally understand that. I just think he's not doing a good job cementing other relationships in the house because, I mean, Taren, correct me if I'm wrong, but I feel like the only people that really have Barrett's back are Mallory, Melody, Drew, D, Rick to an extent, and I guess Angela to an extent.
Taryn Armstrong
I mean, honestly, I wouldn't. I wouldn't even classify D, Angela and Devins as fully having his back. I think that, like, at best, D finds him potentially valuable. She has turned on him before. She's then come back around. I think she's. I think she's come around on seeing his value, especially if. If Drew is gone. But. But I don't think she's, like, looking out for him in that sense. I think that Mallory is like his closest ally by far. I think that Drew genuinely wants to go deep, maybe final two with him, but that's obviously not going anywhere in particular. He has started to develop some, like, something with Lyric and Taylor, which is very interesting and could definitely get him somewhere, but he really doesn't have anything with the red corner. Like, they, they just, they. They just do not. He. Just his personality. He does not have the right. The. The thing in him that can get him to get along with those people and make them like him. And so he really needs to stop playing a game that, that allows them to. To. To continue to move forward. That said, they've won the last two HOHs, so, like, what can you really do? And he, I think, is willing to take that shot, but he can't be losing his best people in the process. And that's the main thing. I think I, I think in Barrett's mind, he's playing with D, he's playing with Devin's and even Angela. And I think he feels like, they are, they are the players. They're getting the powers, they're calling the shots. I need to appease them and I. And to some degree that's true. Right. Like you come in, you can't be anti the vet nets. But I think that what he needs is like the understanding like Barrett, this is also your season. Like you, you should be calling the shots. You should be taking control of your own game. We are four weeks deep. It's time to take the training wheels off and really like go for it. So hopefully he's there. But. But yeah, just the fact that he was willing to let Mallory go last week was like, no, man, no.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
Yeah. And I think, I think, you know, big brother is such an interesting game because the power truly does like hoh and veto truly does dictate who gets put on the block and who goes up for eviction. But a true great big brother player is actively playing the game and they're playing the social game, building relationships, covering your ass. Because at least like look what Yash is doing. In my opinion, Yash is being strategic and having intent with his conversations with people. He's going to Taylor and Lala be like, yo, I got your back no matter what. He'll go to combo in the red corners and make this red. You know, werewolves alliance with D. Rick, whether it's true or not, who cares? You have D, you have combo, you have Haley. Like, Yash is my untouchable. Yash isn't even in an eight person alliance and that's your untouchable. To me that tells me like, yo, low key Yash is cooking and I don't see anything from Barrett. And it just pains me because I know this is his dream. I know this is what he's like wanting to do and he's just not doing it. And I don't know if he's, you know, wanting to have an Ian Terry like run. Right. Like you kind of just like skate by you're with the vets until your ass is on the line and then you just kind of win out and take a vet and win at the end. I don't know if that's his trajectory, but I'm worried that he's just gonna get sniped off because he's just got no connections.
Rob Cesternino
Yeah, certainly in the realm of possibility. I love how in on Yash you are and I'm wondering if maybe, you know, everybody's trying to say that the Drew is the riz of Big Brother 28. But I'm thinking now Yash a young guy, he's making tiktoks, he knows some finance. I'm wondering is, is Yash the Riz God of Big Brother 28?
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
I. I don't know if I want to get to that extent yet because I think Yasha and I.
Rob Cesternino
You need to do the haircut.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
I do. Yeah.
Taryn Armstrong
Right.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
Oh, my God. The. The bush in the back or whatever he does. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't. Listen, I think Yash has potential to be really good and I think think the game I played on 50 could be the game that Yash is rep. Well, not that he's replicating my game, but going in that trajectory, I think what Drew wanted to do, Yash is just doing it a lot better. And the reality is Yash doesn't really have any alliances. So this can all crumble down next week or two weeks from now. But as of week four, I think with him not winning any power, he's doing a really good job or insulating himself into the power structure. Because look at Lyric. I think Lyric is another person. That's a good example that I wasn't very high on Lyric at first, but low key. She's like really impressing me with how she's willing to play the game. She's got some Ali Irwin, BB4 vibes to her, flirting with everybody and throwing whoever to the side. She's kind of throwing her alliance of Mallory and Melody to the wolves, to Haley. And I saw this morning, Haley is not taking very good to it, but Lyric is willing to cut anybody and in a game of Big Brother for her position. I kind of respect that. So I don't know how long Lyric has for this game, but I think Lyric is another one that is impressing me with how much game sense she truly does have.
Rob Cesternino
I've actually been really, really impressed with Lyric and I think that she has incredible potential. But Taryn, I'm wondering if maybe if she has peaked too soon where that the day the dangerousness of Lyrics is. Could that be something that really becomes the story by Thursday night?
Taryn Armstrong
To some degree. Yeah. I mean, but I mean, here's the problem. I think that Lyric has absolutely has this potential, but the. The issue that she's facing is that she's needed to pull out and use all of her cards.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
Yeah.
Taryn Armstrong
Week after week because of the position that she's in. She's constantly being put on the block. And you like, not really because of. Of anything that she's done. It's just that like, she happened to be on the wrong side of the numbers that were winning. Hoh. And so she was being put on the block. She did a great job of getting herself off the block. The first time that happened, she won a competition. The second time it happened, and now again, she's like, all right, time to pull out.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
What do I have?
Taryn Armstrong
What do I have left to do? Okay, I'm gonna try that. And it's at this point, it's like she's been doing it so much that people are really starting to catch on. And that's the sort of thing that's like. Like most people aren't able to get away with it once, let alone twice, let alone three times. And somebody, you know, who's in power never has to. To pull it out once. Right. So. So that's, I think, largely Lyric's issue right now is that, like, she's just constantly been in. In fight or flight, and so people are just noticing, oh, she's actually a lot better at fighting than we thought. And that could be an issue for her this week.
Rob Cesternino
Yeah. To go back to Yash and the parallels to you that, I do think that in terms of Survivor 50 and how you were perceived, and I realized that it is probably more intentional on your part than what Yash is doing. I do think that Yash is being very underestimated, and I think that they're looking at him. Okay, he doesn't have anybody. Let's bring him with us. And I do think that that's probably how people were looking at you, especially once Savannah was gone in season 50 and it was like, okay, well, let me pick this guy up, because he doesn't have anybody else to work with.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
Yeah, I think that's a great comparison because, you know, starting all the way at Vaatu, right? Like, obviously, Vaatu, the power structure, everybody had their people. But then once Kyle got medevacked, everyone's like, wait, like, we need a number. Let's get Rizzo. He doesn't have anybody. I go into the Cere Sila tribe, and I had nobody. I was the only OG Vaatu member. So D and Sree were like, listen, Rizzo's giving us information. Let's pick him up coaching the Four Horsemen. So I think there are a lot of parallels, and, like, from what I'm seeing on the feeds, I think Yash is very intentional. Maybe he doesn't realize what he's doing is actually working a lot of the time, but I think he has the game awareness that Drew doesn't have to know that. Like, hey, I need to put myself in a better position because Yash has finished top two in HOH is the last few weeks. And I think if Yash wins, it might not be advantageous for him to win power at this point, at least for the next week or two, in my opinion.
Taryn Armstrong
Yeah, I. I think in. In almost every way, Yash is the player that Angelo worries Drew is. And. And yet they all trusted Yash and didn't trust Drew, which is. Is kind of the point. A lot of the times that the person you're looking at is usually not the person you need to be worried about the most, because the person you're worried about the most has been able to convince you to look at somebody else. But. But Angela has started to set her sights on Yash, largely because Chuck actually, of all people, spotted what Yash was doing. So I do think that. I personally think that Yash should be winning power because. Which is usually what I think people should be doing in general, but especially because, like, yes, this is working for Yash right now, but similar to Lyric, it can only work for so long while the power structure remains in place. And, And I do worry that Yash could be. Especially if Drew leaves this week. I think that Yash could be in the line of fire as early as next week, depending on when who wins HOH if he's not careful. And so the. I think that when you have the position to capitalize on power, you should probably take it and start to. To try to solidify something around you. And, And I think that's where Yash is right now. I think that he's good for now, but watch out, because these, these vets aren't gonna let somebody be in a good position for long, in my opinion.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
And I think the reason why I say a week or two is because at least we're getting cracks of the tool shed breaking apart. So if a Mallory or if a Barrett or somebody or a Taylor wins HOH and you put up Kamu, Chuck and Haley or whatever, three people of the tool shed, he and Rick are going to have to stamp their flag of who they don't want. And then it kind of just causes more cracks and more cracks. If, like you were saying, Taren, that, you know, the power structure still remains the same, then it's a bad look for him. He's hoping, I think, for an other side HOH win to really blow open this game.

Rob Cesternino
this week. Haley has been the hoh we got to see her in a really on on full display on Sunday Night's episode. Rizzo, if you were in the Big Brother house, how would you handle an hoh like Haley?
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
So I'm going to speak about Haley, the Big Brother character. I, I don't know her outside the games, whatever. But on the show and watching the feed, she does seem to be very unbearable. But as a human being, I think, yeah, as a human being, to quote the Great Rome, AKA Jack. But I think she just has this hoh itis. And listen, we see it every season, Big Brother, whether It's Frenchie from BB23, Cody Nixon on BB19. Like, people just get in power and then they just kind of lose their marbles. And I think Haley feels that right now, where she's like, better than everyone else. I think for me personally, the secret to Big Brother is kind of the secret to every social strategy game. It's find something that you can talk about with somebody.
Botox Side Effects Informant
Right.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
Like Haley, from what I saw, played softball in college. I would just talk to her about softball. Being an athlete, like, you just got to find commonality. Things like, you know, at first, me and Colby didn't have a lot in common, but once you find out what Colby's all about, how humble he is, his upbringing, he's played Survivor 25, you just got to really dig deep with every single person. On paper, I don't think me and Angela would have much similarities, but I'm sure if I figure out what her common interests are and how she loves selling houses, as a real estate agent, I'm in the market for a home. Like, I'll talk to her about escrow packages and whatnot. Like, you just got to figure out that kind of stuff about people. So if I was in a house with someone like Haley, I would just do my best to figure out what she likes. I mean, if it's, you know, she's allegedly like 47, so figure out what, like 47 year olds. Like, so just kind of just doing that, you know?
Home Depot Announcer
Yeah.
Rob Cesternino
What about you said Chuck GPT. Now, I had not heard Chuck GPT.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
Yeah. So I could be out of the loop here, but from my understanding. Okay. Okay, good. So what I've seen on Twitter and Reddit is that Chuck GPT is what the fan base is calling Chuck because he's kind of just there and just giving, like, pretty robotic responses. And I think I don't want to call them furniture, but, like, if we compare, you know what the term furniture is in Big Brother terminology? It's kind of someone that's just there. And I think that's exactly what Chuck is. But Chuck GPT sounds really good. So this is like the new evolutionized term for furniture. And I just think Chuck, I mean, he's fine. He's an okay spot because he's in the power structure. I think Chuck similarity wise is probably giving me Cam from BB26 where he's like a likable guy. He's not doing anything wrong, but he's not winning any power.
Rob Cesternino
Doesn't have any cool diary room shout outs.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
Shout out to all my dogs at the crib. Yeah, I. I think he's just kind of there and he's like, decently well liked because maybe I'm wrong, but I think Drew would be the only person targeting Chuck. I think if a Chuck Haley kamu block goes up, I think Chuck is probably the most safe. What would you say, Darren?
Taryn Armstrong
Yeah, I mean, Chuck is just not much of a threat, I think, to anybody. Like, I don't. I don't think necessarily like that Cam is. Is the. The comp. But I think that like the. The main thing for Chuck and, and part of the reason why it's Chuck GPT is that even in the house, people just feel like he has no substance. Like, anytime he talks to anybody, it's just. He just talks around things. And I think that, like, in his mind, he's doing such a great job of like, connecting with people while. While playing them in their face. But. But in reality, they're just like, you just said a lot of words, but I don't think you said anything. And, and like, the one person that he actually connects with is Haley, who. Who was like, yeah, I. I see some light in Chuck. I see some light in him.
Rob Cesternino
Yeah.
Taryn Armstrong
But. But for everyone else, it's just like, yeah, that's a totally good point that you just made. And really, if you think about it, points are all about making those points. And so, you know, in this house, you know, it is about finding people that you can trust. So, yeah, if. If moving forward, you want to make more points difference, let's talk. And it's like that's just kind of how it feels talking to Chuck. And the episodes clearly agree because I think he has a collective like 30 seconds. Purple Chuck the first.
Rob Cesternino
Right.
Taryn Armstrong
You know?
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
Yeah, he's got. I think I saw the confessional account. He's got like 10 Zach Brown has
Rob Cesternino
more confessionals than Chuck, I think.
Taryn Armstrong
Yeah.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
Which is crazy.
Rob Cesternino
Yeah. Now, so Chuck GPT. I had not heard. Of course I know Corbin GPT. Now, do you know that. That actually you Know, I, I like to do the Corbin impression, but Rizzo's actually the master of the Corbin impression.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
Yeah, I, not to toot my own horn, but as the Riz God always does, is that I have an infamous, infamously good Corbin impression that actually went viral on Tick Tock. So I was very, very proud, but. All right, Rob, put a little pressure on me. Rob, put. Can you put Corbin up on the screen, please, ladies? Melanie, Taryn, can you give us a live feed update?
Taryn Armstrong
I don't, I don't really want to. I don't really want to give you a live feed update.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
Yeah, it's so, it's so funny that we're talking about the Corbin GPT and Chuck GPT, because the thing I was thinking about while you were talking Tarek was just Chuck going lyric. So that was just in my mind. So thanks for showing that, Rob.
Taryn Armstrong
That was good. This. Listen, I, I lose the impressions the second I stop watching them on my screen. Yeah, I, I don't have them in me anymore. So I'm also.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
You also infamously have a very good Vinnie Panero impression.
Taryn Armstrong
Yeah, that's, See, that's long gone. Like, I, I, I, I don't have it anymore. It's. I, I need. Because, like, I don't, I don't, like, intentionally try to match their voice. I, I, it's just that I watch so much feeds that it just, just burrows into my brain and I just accidentally start speaking like them.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
Yeah, yeah.
Rob Cesternino
You're, like, on the Heroes, when the person is, like, in the pro Siler, was he in the proximity of the person? He could take on their powers.
Taryn Armstrong
I thought he had to, like, eat them or something.
Rob Cesternino
You have to eat them. I don't know. Maybe that was a different guy on Heroes that if they were, like, in the, in the vicinity that they could,
Taryn Armstrong
like, absorb the powers, Something like that. Yeah, I think so.
Rob Cesternino
Yeah. Is there anybody else in the house that you have some thoughts on?
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
Yeah, I mean, I think somebody that I'm really, really enjoying this season is Mallory, and I think Mallory is kind of providing that underdog rooting interest that I think a lot of the feedsters or, you know, a section of the fan base really likes. I don't know if this is a great comp, because I think Mallory actually has actually, let me take this back because I actually really love Keanu, and that's my guy. But what I was going to say was I think Mallory has the game sense to know what the power structure is, so if she won power, she would Target the right people and that's what I really want to see. I think Mallory has Keanu parallels in the sense that they got to keep on winning their way to get safe and no one really has their back. So I'm rooting for Mallory and I hope she does really well. I'm hoping for like a Janelle BB6 moment where she's like, give me that key and like puts up Haley, Chuck and Kamu and that would really do well. I don't want this to happen. But there was moments where she was like, I want to put up the icons Angela, Rick and D. And I think that would be great for the show and it'd be great to see at least Rick use the diamond power of veto. Because at this moment, like I said, it's still early, but it feels like Rick's not going to need to use it yet. So I do want to see it implemented some way and I feel like the only way that would happen is a Mallory hoh.
Rob Cesternino
Yeah, I'm glad you brought that up because I feel like I'm not alone in feeling this way. Where we're trying to hold these two things where it's like we want the people we know to do well and they're representing Survivor well and we know them personally to varying degrees and it's like we're rooting for these people. We like them and they're. And they're likable people. We also want this to be a good season. We want it to be so we're sorry to our friends that we are wishing that there are some, like, choppier waters here in the. In the Odyssey. But, you know, if you get there in the end, like, it'll be a better story.
Crocs and Starbucks Advertiser
Yeah.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
And that's kind of where I'm battling. And I know some of the alumni that I talk to are battling the same because it's like we want to see our friends win, but like a steamroll is not fun. Like, at least have a couple of weeks where it's like, holy crap, Rick did a dance funeral esque kind of thing or something. You know what I mean?
Rob Cesternino
We don't want it to be easy.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
Right. You don't want a BB19 type victory.
Rob Cesternino
You wanna.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
I don't know who. Who's a good return. You don't want to.
Rob Cesternino
I would say that because in BB19, you know, Paul ends up losing in the end, but it' like rooting for Boston Rob in Redemption island. It's like, okay, you know, it's like, hey, great. I'M a Boston Rob fan. This is. This is going so well every single week, and it's just like shooting fish in a barrel. Not to take too much away from Rob's victory in season 22 of Survivor, but, you know, we. We'd like there to be some adversity along the way.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
You want like a Tony Winners at war kind of win where it's like, oh, my God, how did he do this?
Rob Cesternino
Yeah.
Taryn Armstrong
Yeah, we'll see.
Rob Cesternino
All right. Any other thoughts on Big Brother in general?
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
Honestly, I, like I said, I'm heavily invested in the season because I really want Rick and D to do well. Angela, you know, it's been very interesting, the two parallels because I loved Angela on BB26. I find it a little more difficult to watch Angela this season because Angela is a proud Riz God squad member. So I. I'm rooting for her. But I also like, it's like, oh, Angela, your reads are wrong. Stop putting Rick and D in a terrible position and just relax. I will say her in the egg costume is really funny. I'm really enjoying the season. I love the coverage that you're doing, Taryn. Rob, you're killing the game. Hopefully we do this again with me and the Big Brother house and then, you know, you guys covering me doing well. But. But no, I'm really enjoying the season. I'm hoping that, honestly, while I hate to say this because, you know, I'll probably message Drew if he gets evicted, but I kind of want to Drew eviction here and hoping for a Melody or Mallory because Melody is another person I didn't touch up on. Kind of has Brittany Haynes upside. I think her diary rooms have been really, really, really good. I don't remember the last time that they just let someone just go off and call people in the diary room. So I really love that from Melody. So, yeah, I think Yash is going to win if it's not dear Rick. That's my hot take.
Rob Cesternino
I clip this if it happens.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
Yes, clip it if it happens. I'm the first alumni to give them their flowers. Jason. I'm so sad that Jason got evicted. Jason was feeds gold. Jason was great. I wish Jason did drag in front of Kamal. That would have been cinema. But Selena Estates will be a legend regardless.
Rob Cesternino
It already is.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
Yep.
Rob Cesternino
All right, well, this is so fun to catch up with you and what else you have going on this summer?
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
Nothing much, Rob. I'm kind of just hiding and just camping out, waiting to see if there is God pops back up doing stuff one of these Days. I'm excited for Survivor 51.
Rob Cesternino
The open era. The open era.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
Excited to talk about that with you eventually. So, yeah, nothing much. Rob. Bob.
Rob Cesternino
Yeah, I had something. Something else is good to ask you, and I can't remember what it was. Let me. Let me see if it comes back to me by the end of the podcast. Taran, anything else that we should be on the lookout for this week?
Taryn Armstrong
I think at this point, the main thing is will they decide to evict Melody or Lyric in the event that they're. I almost called them Rizza, though. Drew wins the blockbuster. I. I feel like they would lean toward Melody, but with all this stuff happening around Lyric, there is certainly a chance that things flip on her, so I'd say stay tuned for that. But. But outside of that, I think it really is just kind of like we're just gonna sit on our thumbs and wait for the next hoh.
Rob Cesternino
Yeah. I have no real rooting interest in this eviction. Coming up this week. The bad news is somebody I like is going to go home. The good news is two people I like are going to stay. So I'm trying to look at the glass two thirds full. I wanted to ask you, Rizzo, who's more likely to shout you out in the diary room this season? Will it be Rick Devins or will it be D?
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
Oh, that's a good question. I will. I'm gonna be honest. Rick has been shown a lot of love. Yeah, probably not, Angela. Rick's been showing me a lot of Riz.
Taryn Armstrong
God.
Rob Cesternino
In the Riz squad.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
I know. Oh, my God.
Taryn Armstrong
That'd be amazing.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
R I Z God. No, I think. I think Rick is more likely to shout me out because Rick's been really kind to me on the feeds. I mean, these mentioned me a couple times, but I'm expecting a R I Z God somewhere, so.
Rob Cesternino
Okay, we'll say.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
Well, Rob, before you sign us out, I think it would be a disservice to the fans if we didn't bring this up really briefly.
Rob Cesternino
Yes.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
So we've infamously have assembled the Survivor Mog vengers where you and I were a part of it. I want to know. Or the fans want to know. How do you rate your mogging in that video? And who do you think mocked the hardest?
Rob Cesternino
So I got my son to help me with this. He said he found the. The actual video that. He said he came across the actual video of the. What? He said it was the streamer university. That's. He said, dad, this is the video that Rizzo is making. And I would say that I think the person. I think who obviously present company excluded the person who mog the hearts, I'm gonna say was Xander.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
Okay.
Rob Cesternino
I like that this guy knows what he's doing.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
Yeah, yeah.
Taryn Armstrong
No, he was. He.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
He definitely. Actually, I. My. My stance is Charlie knocked the hardest. Charlie put up a generational performance. Shout out my fellow enemy from season 50, Charlie Davis. Love the guy.
Crocs and Starbucks Advertiser
Yeah.
Rob Cesternino
Taryn, is anybody doing any good feed mogging these days?
Taryn Armstrong
No, because Rome left.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
Yes, that's true. That's true.
Rob Cesternino
After he took all the aura points.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
Rome.
Taryn Armstrong
Rome just walked around with a constant mog on his face.
Rob Cesternino
They would zoom in on him. Yeah, I guess it's right.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
Yep.
Rob Cesternino
All right.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
It's right. At least he has some niche polls that he can talk to about. Yeah.
Rob Cesternino
Check it out on Rizzo's TikTok. Is that your preferred canvas Tick tock?
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
Yeah, I think the tick tock is the more funnier stuff. Like Instagram is just more about update photos with me in my life, so. But TikTok is where. Where the peak comedy is.
Rob Cesternino
Okay. Follow Rizzo. There anything else you want to tell people to check out?
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
No, honestly. I love you guys. If you guys know where to find me. It's Riz. Got 34 on all my socials and that's about it.
Rob Cesternino
What's the 34?
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
Just my high school number, Rob. I grew up playing sports and 34 was my number. For what reason? I don't know. I just really liked it. I was the vis before 6, 7. I was 34.
Rob Cesternino
Okay. All right. All right, Rizzo, thank you so much. Always a treat. Tar, what's coming up for you?
Taryn Armstrong
We got the round table. We got live feed update coming up. All all that good stuff.
Rob Cesternino
Okay, Rizzo, pass the phone. As the house guested, who should we talk to next from Survivor 50 about D& Rick in the big brother house.
Rob 'Rizzo' Cesternino
Okay, this is a good one. Who do I think would be good and who would be a good get? Actually, you know what? I'm passing the phone to my fellow finale partner in Tiffany Nicole Irvin.
Rob Cesternino
Okay.
Taryn Armstrong
All right.
Rob Cesternino
That's a good call. All right, thank you so much for joining us. Plenty more to come roundtable on Monday night and of course, all of the rest of the big brother content throughout the week.

Host: Rob Cesternino
Co-host: Taran Armstrong
Guest: Rob “Rizgod” Cesternino
This engaging episode welcomes Survivor 49 & 50 favorite, “Rizgod” (Rob “Rizzo” Cesternino), to discuss his passion for Big Brother and to break down the gameplay and dynamics of Big Brother 28. The conversation covers Rizgod’s Big Brother fandom history, his takes on returning Survivors Rick Devins and D, deep strategic analysis of house alliances, player comparisons to Survivor, and fresh insights on lesser-discussed houseguests. Memorable moments abound, including playful banter, impressions, fandom lore, and bold predictions for the season.
[03:09 – 05:36]
“If they asked me to do it, I would have said yes… I fit the BB demographic. I think for me, I’m young, I’m funny, I’m a super fan of the shows.” (Rizgod, 04:02)
[06:44 – 09:48]
“Strategically, they’re doing a great job aligning with Kamu, aligning with Haley… it’s a cakewalk. Right?” (Rizgod, 07:19)
“Devins and D—they’re like five HOHs away from being in trouble, so it must be kind of stress-free.” (Taran, 06:44)
[09:48 – 11:49]
“He’s really found his inner Levasseur… how do I really just try to stay out of the drama?” (Rob, 09:09)
“This is definitely a misstep in his game because Rick needs to have parachutes. Rick can’t just rely on D to go to the end.” (Rizgod, 11:50)
[13:36 – 14:23]
“I think Drew lacks that self-awareness that I had on Survivor… he’s not realizing people stop talking strategy when he enters the room.” (Rizgod, 15:14)
[16:19 – 23:00]
“D is like built in a lab for, like, an elite Big Brother player.” (Rizgod, 16:35) “She will keep a secret to herself. That’s just not something that’s in Rick’s DNA.” (Rob, 21:11)
[26:38 – 31:27]
“Rick and D… are kind of playing the Rizzo/Sirie/Ozzy position…” (Rizgod, 26:47)
[31:27 – 34:14]
“They’re making it look too easy. And I’m worried that Survivor players will never be invited back to Big Brother.” (Rob, 31:27)
[36:03 – 41:07]
“He’s just not doing it. I don’t know if he’s wanting to have an Ian Terry–like run.” (Rizgod, 39:51)
[41:07 – 47:54]
“Low key, Yash is cooking… and I don’t see anything from Barrett. And it just pains me because I know this is his dream.” (Rizgod, 39:51)
[42:52 – 44:31]
“She’s just constantly been in fight or flight… and people are just noticing, oh, she’s actually a lot better at fighting than we thought.” (Taran, 43:52)
[52:20 – 55:18]
“People just feel like he has no substance. Anytime he talks to anybody… you just said a lot of words, but I don’t think you said anything.” (Taran, 53:39)
[57:22 – 59:30]
“I’m rooting for Mallory…hoping for like a Janelle BB6 moment where she’s like, give me that key and puts up Haley, Chuck and Kamu.” (Rizgod, 58:11)
Who should be the next Survivor 50 guest?
“I’m passing the phone to my fellow finale partner, Tiffany Nicole Irvin.” (Rizgod, [66:40])
Clip this if it happens:
“I think Yash is going to win if it’s not D or Rick.” ([61:38])
