This week on Ring of Fire! Donald Trump has made many lofty promises about what his trade war tariffs would do for Americans, and so far not one of them has come true. He promised that Americans wouldn’t see higher prices; He promised that we’d be richer than ever to the point where tariffs could eliminate most of our income taxes; He promised that other countries would pay the price; And now he’s promising that the slight reduction in gas prices will make up the difference for the increasing cost of goods. None of this is going to happen. Even though he’s only been in office for 4 months, Donald Trump has already received an unprecedented number of “gifts” from foreign countries, not even counting the trash plane he wants to take from Qatar.
