Specifically, they discuss the tension between being encouraged to use AI tools (and the trope that you’ll be replaced by someone who is using them if you don’t) and the increasing “detect AI in the writing” functionality that is being inserted into tools and LinkedIn’s “AI Slop” button, and how using AI is seen as poorer quality.
