Well, here you have it folks!! The World's first and only album dedicated to hunting in Africa. Each song specific to an animal, event or region within the Dark Continent. I wrote the lyrics to each song and used AI to assist with the vocals and instruments. After many late nights, at least 10 - 15 versions of each track, tweaking the beats and finding the right rhythms to go with each song, I finalised the tracks and combined them to make the Round The Fire Album. You can find the time markers below for each song and their title. ***If you do enjoy these songs, do me a massive favor and leave a 5* rating and review on Apple Podcasts and Spotify. It's the least I ask*** The full album is available upon request, just send an email to the following and I will forward you a link to where you can download the tracks: jonomchugh@gmail.com 06:42 DELTA BULL 10:22 WALKING WITH RUARK & CAPSTICK 14:42 BLACK DEATH 18:30 BROTHERS IN THE BUSH 21:46 LEOPARD ON A LIMB 26:09 GREY GHOST 30:11 BLUE HAIRED WARRIOR 36:00 DARK KNIGHT 39:37 KALAHARI BROTHER KILLERS 44:51 THEY DON'T GET IT 49:15 EASTERN CAPE EDEN 54:09 ROUND THE FIRE

Selby, Percivil, Selous, Downey, Pondoro and many more PHs from the past are considered to be legends of the industry. But in today's day and age are we going to see any more "Legendary PHs?" I try to answer this question and share my thoughts in the latest episode of the Round The Fire Podcast. If you agree or disagree with my thoughts, then leave some comments on our facebook page or on the Spotify page. At the end of the episode you will also hear the latest song I wrote called: Delta Bull. Enjoy! It's the one thing every hunter and PH dreads on a hunting safari, a wounded animal! Tensions begin to rise, panic sets in, everyone becomes to come up with different theories as to what happened and before you know it, a bad vibe sets in that can ruin the entire trip. When it comes to a wounded animal, everyone has their job. The trackers get to work following the animal and the PH keeps his eyes peeled and his head on a swivel in case the animal shows face again. But what role can and does the hunter play in a wounded animal scenario? In this episode, I answer that question and add a few pieces of advice that could help prevent this feared outcome. Enjoy! Now here is a real pickle that is often faced by hunters that are returning to Africa for their 2nd, 3rd or 4th trip. The dilemma of having to choose between hunting with the outfitter again, heading off on a separate with your best bud the PH or maybe even going to hunt with a completely new hunting operation altogether! It's a tough decision to make, and in this episode I will do my best to provide some insight and food for thought to make that choice a little easier. PLUS.....I have a new song for you all, so make sure to stick around till the end of the episode to hear the latest track. If you would like the songs, you can send me an email: jonomchugh@gmail.com and I will forward them onto you. And if you are feeling generous, want to contribute to more songs, or even donate a beer or coffee in appreciation for all that went into the song, I have a cash app that accepts any kind donations. Well you have been requesting it and I can hold off no longer, it's time to share a few personal stories from my time as a Professional Hunter and Hunting Outfitter. To kick things off I will share the story of my very first foreign client as a Hunting Outfitter. But that's not all, if you listen to the very end of the episode I have thrown in something unique, something a little special and hopefully something you will all enjoy. Don't be fooled into thinking that the PH and Outfitter are the only role players in you having a successful hunting safari. While they are extremely important, the real people in the engine room driving the success of the trip is the trackers and skinners. These are the men we call on when the brown stuff hits the fan, they are the ones we rely on to find those valuable animals, they are the ones that roll up their sleeves and carry out the necessary dirt jobs that lead to you having the trip of a lifetime. So, how to treat them, how you interact with them and ultimately the way in which you conduct yourself around them...will determine the level of achievement you will have on your hunting safari.
