The USC Trojans have suffered their first decommitment of the 2027 class after 4-star wide receiver Eli Woodard announced that he would be reopening his recruitment.

The Trojans were not willing to budge on their no-visit policy, and Woodard wanted to explore other programs after being committed since February.

I explain why this happened and what it means for the Trojans moving forward.
