It looked like somebody was bent over and had their head in the window of the deer blind. And it either heard me or smelt me. And he pulled his head out of

the tent and stood straight up.
Jake (0:15)
And that.
Wes Germer (0:17)
That shocked me.
Jake (0:24)
They don't make people that. That big. The way moved almost as if it was gliding across the beach. I've never seen anything move like that in my life. They were screaming at each other in gibberish. It sounded like a language. And they were chuntering away, back and forwards, back and forwards, back and forwards. I know what a bear looks like and there is no way on this planet that what I saw were bears. Nine one, one, what are you reporting? Jesus Christ.
Wes Germer (1:17)
You better see him. Hello?
Jake (1:20)

Wes Germer (1:22)

Jake (1:24)

Wes Germer (1:27)

Jake (1:28)
Oh.
Wes Germer (1:32)
This is Phoenix Bun from Laxil First Nation, and you are listening to Wes Germer of Sasquatch Chronicles. Welcome to the show. Tonight we'll be speaking with Jake, who comes to us from Minnesota. Back in the early 80s, he witnessed something he described as a chimpanzee playing on his tree stand. Then 30 years later, in the same area, he encountered another creature. And it was displaying a behavior unlike anything I had ever heard before. If you've had an encounter and you'd like to be on the show, shoot me an email. My email address is wesasquatchchronicles.com and if you get a chance, check out sasquatch chronicles.com you can become a member and get additional shows. Let's jump into it tonight. I want to welcome Jake to the show. Jake, thanks for coming on.
Jake (3:02)
Oh, no problem.
Wes Germer (3:04)
Yeah. And you had this encounter. We're going back to the early 80s. If you would just kind of start from the very beginning. What were you doing and what happened?
