A
Do you know my first name? James.
B
It's not Chase?
C
Nope.
B
Is it? Cut to the.
A
Cut to the. Nope.
B
Okay.
A
What?
B
What? What are we over here?
A
I have three first names.
B
Okay.
A
Starts with a W. Does Diana know it?
B
What? Wyatt.
A
Oh, that's a sick one.
B
That would be a sick one.
C
Wyatt.
A
Wyatt.
B
Chase is a good one, but Wyatt's like a great quarterback.
A
Wyatt. Chase.
B
Wyatt Daniel.
C
Oh, Wyatt.
B
Playing it in Texas high school football. Oh. Welcome in to Scoop City on a Monday. I'm James Palmer, going to be joined by Diane Rossini and Chase Daniel. Like we to be one of those people that hits the like button and then maybe the subscribe button. If you do them both, that's great. If you do one, that's okay. We're fine with it. But both would be wonderful. We have a huge show to get through in the course of today. But real quickly, I just want to say we're going to go through Philip Rivers and his return. Chase is going to break that down. He's going to talk about maybe his possibility of returning in his 40s to the NFL. We're going to see what happens with possibly him, you know, making a return to the league. That'd be great. He broke down. An interesting reason why Philip Rivers also came back. Not the only reason, but an interesting caveat to the entire entire situation. Also, devastating injury for Patrick Mahomes with the ACL in Kansas City. What's next for him and the Chiefs? We're going to push this forward a little bit. And then Josh Allen, is he back in the MVP conversation with a huge come from behind victory against the Patriots in New England? We'll get to all of that, Chase. Diana, how are you? I have to ask you this right off the bat. This is going to be our first postseason since 1998 without Tom Brady, Peyton Manning or Patrick Mahomes. So let's go back 1997. What were we doing? Diana, in 1997, what was life like for you?
C
I was in eighth grade. The new York Yankees were in the middle of their dominance. I was like the biggest die hard fan. We were probably celebrating another World Series. That's actually what I think of for 1997. What's wrong with me that I think about the Yankees, but Yankees, okay. I won class president that year after I was the underdog. So I remember. Oh, wow.
A
Let's go.
C
One of the teachers said to me, just so you know, the only reason why you won is because you have a lot of friends. And I never forgot that the whole year, really. And we were raising more money than any other 8th grade class. And he said to me on my graduation, I apologize. I said, thank you.
A
Oh, nice little story. Well, that was nice. I was 11. So what. How old are you? What grade are you when you're 11? Six? Fifth.
B
Fifth or fourth grade? Eighth grade.
A
Yeah, one of those. I was still nerving playing baseball. I don't, I don't remember a lot of my 11 year old self, but it was. That was how it was. 11? Yeah.
B
Oh, wow. This was the year. This is where Evander Hollerfield had his ear bit by Mike Tyson.
A
Was that.
C
That was the year I stayed up and watched that. I remember.
B
I remember watching that. I still remember the newspaper the next morning was like a grainy picture of Mike Tyson biting his ear. Also, Titanic came out in 97. Come on, people.
A
Great movie.
B
That's a wonderful film. I still believe they both could have fit on that door. I think that door was big enough for both Jack and Rose. But he tries, he tries one time and just stays in the water. Like keep trying to get on the door.
A
The door is big enough.
B
It's big enough.
A
My wife has never seen it.
C
Why?
A
Why? She I don't know. She's just never watched it. She that's like her thing. She like most pop culture movies she hasn't seen.
B
Real quick, want to get to the Sunday A couple of devastating injuries across the NFL to some of the biggest stars we know. Patrick Mah, the league's most accomplished player, suffers an ACL injury in that loss to the Chargers. He's going to get a second opinion on that. So we're still in the early stages of Mahomes diagnosis and what that timetable could be with Micah Parsons. He suffers an ACL injury as well in that loss to the Denver Broncos. A ton of injuries that have happened on that packers team that had super bowl aspirations. They're going to have to play the rest of their season without one of the best, if not the best defensive player in all of football. And then devonte Adams leads the NFL in receiving touchdowns. Suffered a hit hamstring injury essentially re aggravated it but went down, spent some time down. He did not return to the game. Sean McVay hasn't ruled him out for Thursday, but at the same time did tell reporters post game that it didn't look good. So we'll see how long devonte Adams will be out of that Rams offense. So speaking of Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs eliminated from the postseason, what needed to happen on Sunday happened. They needed the Bills. For them to be eliminated, the Bills had to win. That happened. The Texans and Jags both won. That happened. And they lost to the Chargers. So they are eliminated. Chase, I want to get your thoughts. You have obviously so many ties to this organization. My first thought to ask you is what went wrong this year when we just sum up the 2025 Kansas City Chiefs?
A
That is the million dollar question, James. And it's really hard to just put one thing and pick one thing that went wrong. I mean, you look at the entire season, whether it's their one in seven record in one score games, whether they 11 and oh last year, 10 and O last year, whether it's, you know, injuries up front and they were just decimated by injuries, whether it's just old players, whether It's I played 22 extra games since Patrick Mahomes has become the quarterback and I'm tired, whether it's signing the the same guys over and over again and hoping that it's just going to last as long as it can and seven straight AFC Championship games and it's just in my Opinion. Like, I. I'm just watching the game yesterday, and I'm seeing everything unfold. I'm like, man, if they lose this, everything's great. And then the worst happens. Like, Mahomes goes down in a nasty. Like, he's getting tackled, but then the ground sort of causes it. And it's just like. You knew. It's just like, it just encompassed how the whole season is gone. And it's just like, you know, you don't. You don't ever like to say that the word wasted season, because there's some gross stuff, but this is just complete wasted season. Like, they came in and, you know, they hadn't had their big three receivers that they just kept talking about on the field ever at the same time. And when they got those guys, it's. You know, I actually think that Mahomes played really well the first seven, eight games of the year. And then you look at the last, you know, four or five, six. And, you know, defensively, they've been pretty bad in the second half at times. And we've talked about this, and it's just like, man, no one this year was scared of the Kansas City Chiefs. And I think. And I think that. I think that really played into it. Teams are like, hey, like, they've come back down to earth and we're going to give them our best shot, but we know how to finish games, too. And it's just. It's a crazy thing to think that crazy stat you started with since 1998, that none of those big three are going to be there, but mainly Patrick Mahomes, because it's not like Mahomes came into the league and started slow. You know, he won through 50 touchdowns or whatever his first year, or, I think, you know, one mvp and you go to seven straight AFC Championship games, five Super Bowls, three. And then all of a sudden, they're not even in the playoffs, and it's. It's December 15th. It's not even like. It's like, at the end. End of the season. Yeah, it's after week 15.
C
Yeah. I think that just sums up kind of how this year's went, Right? It's been so incredibly inconsistent, but I feel like this is finally the time where we can say the Chiefs may have lost the benefit of the doubt because we always come on the show, right?
A
And we're like, I gave them first, right?
C
Chase, you've been.
A
Aw.
C
You're loyal to them.
B
But. But.
C
But you don't just do that because you played for them. Like, no, you Represent, I think, what a lot of people feel around football. You know, I think other coaches and players look at the Chiefs the way you do as well, which is Patrick Mahomes is just that good. They're that tandem of Andy Reid and him are. Are that special. And obviously, when Travis Kelce is playing well and Chris Jones is playing well, they. They. They're a scary group. You can't count them out. They also do such a good job as an organization of keeping the issues that they have, because, trust us, they have just as many issues as you're seeing. Other teams deal with the same type of frustrations, but they do such a great job of policing themselves even in the bad times. And I think that's really why they've had so much success as well. Of course, it's because they're talented and they're good and they're well coached, but they clearly have had really good leaders. So, James, we're mine. Where my mind is going now, I'm. I'm over. They're not there. I hate it. I want to see Patrick Mahomes in the playoffs. It's going to be weird to see an AFC Championship game without him giraffing around the field and doing all his things and coming up with some big throw that wins a game, you know, whatever it is. But I want to know what this front office is going to do. Are they going to blow this thing up and reset it and revamp and make some hard decisions on some players that are maybe some of their core guys to move on, to get more money to go younger? What are they going to address first? What is the priority in that building starting today? So they're going to be a team. I think that they're going to have to do a lot of work this off season if they want to get back to being the Chiefs that we know.
A
And the last decision, though, sorry, James, like, what do you think is you say these key decisions in your opinion, and James, you can chime in on this, too. For you, what do you guys think is, like, I know what it's on the field, but, like, there's cap stuff. What do you guys think is the most important decision that the Chiefs are going to have to make this offseason?
B
Well, good.
C
James, you go first.
B
Yeah, I'll just go first. I think there's a few things that stand out to me. When they lost the super bowl against Tampa, it was very specific what needed to happen.
A
Yes.
B
I mean, that was the most pressure a quarterback has been under in the super bowl in the history of the game. So what did they do? They put a bunch of resources into the offensive line. They knew exactly what it was. I don't know if this offseason is. Is as specifically focused and that's what I'm curious about. What Brett beach does. They guys, they are $43 million over the cap for 2026. There's only one team that is higher and that's the Cowboys at 47. So financially there's a lot to be worked out. You need to get a contract extension for your maybe as Chris Jones has gotten older. Best defensive player in Trent McDuffie in the secondary and we know the way the cornerback market has skyrocketed over the last 12 months. You have to fix your running back room because I commend what Kareem Hunt. But this is a guy who has gotten older and older and still finds a way to be somewhat successful. He's playing on like one leg. So what do you do to revamp your running back room? The defensive line depth has been a big issue. The connection from the front to the back has been a big part of that defense. Whether it was Tyron Matthew talking to the front end or whether it was Justin Reed talking to the front end. And that's a part of that defense that has been missing a little bit with Nick Bolton's communication to the secondary. And I find it, and I want both of your opinion, I find it somewhat lazy of a narrative to say fix the offensive line. Like you have the highest paid center in football. You have arguably the highest paid guard in football. You drafted your left tackle in the first round. You have an up and down left guard who's not decent guys but still a young player. And you've paid to put multiple resources to attempt to fix your right tackle spot. I don't think anybody should say Brett Veach hasn't made an effort to improve this offensive line.
C
James, there's a GM in the AFC that loves Scoop City and heard us have a conversation recently about this and he. He reached out and said because I think you. You made a similar point about the offensive line not being the biggest issue. And he's like he's spot on about it. Like the offense, it's not that is not the nucleus of their problems. The way we saw against Tampa in that loss in Tampa, this is around. I do think the run game is. Is got to be the part or at least the piece that they need to improve. I also just go back to what they were doing in Free agency, what they were doing before the trade deadline. And when I say what they were doing, what they were poking around on, and I hate to say it, a lot of those knees, a lot of those things that they were poking around on, they needed. And I don't know if they would have been in this position, you know, but obviously the next story is going to be, what's Travis Kelsey going to do? Kelsey, right?
A
Yeah. No, you guys didn't see. I'm like, Kelse for sure.
B
Right.
A
Because he's. It's a lot of money.
C
Yeah. I mean, his contract's done.
A
Right. But I'm saying if you bring him back, like, got to pay.
C
You're.
A
Do you.
C
Okay, Chase, do you think Travis Kelce is going to be back next year? If you had a guess, this is not reporting. Just like, what do you think?
A
Yeah, I think how everything ended this year. Yeah. I just don't think he likes going out with his quarterback, not playing with his quarterback. And I. We talked about this and it's. It's so easy to say, yeah, like Hollywood. And I know James feels different. And whatever he has after, to me, that's always going to be there because you're married to Taylor Swift. Like, there's no clock on that if you have one more year. And just sometimes, like, people say, you know, hey, it's my. It's my final year before the year. So then everywhere he goes, he just, you know, gets the celebration celebrated. He didn't care about all that. But I think that's something into it, you know, a little bit. I don't know. I. I think he's back real quick. Real quick.
C
I want to know if these guys, they've got to just be tired. I know. Chase, you're gonna bite my head off when I say this, because I don't think any player or staff members going, thank goodness we're not in the playoffs. But to get a break from having to play for the next two months for the first time in nine years.
A
I don't disagree with you at all.
C
Like, there's gotta be a little like, God, no. What is life gonna be like in January when I can go to Disney with my family and just have a vacation?
A
Yeah. No.
C
I'm so ready to shut my head off. I really thought you were gonna come for me.
B
I like it. Before we move on, Chase, really quick, I just want to ask you this because I know asking around the league, people have varying opinions. Does Patrick Mahomes fully trust this receiver group that we were so Excited at the beginning of the season to see what are your thoughts on Rasheed Rice and Xavier Worthy and Hollywood Brown as receivers and what we saw in 2025.
A
I don't know. The question's no. You can just tell in certain moments of games when he's like, ah, you know, he's like. You don't really see him like that very often. I do think that this receiver group this year let Mahomes down. Absolutely I did. And, and I just think that I think Rasheed Rice, like I do think he is.
B
He's.
A
He's a one. Like I, I like what he has. I, I think that he gets a full off season of work and he gets rolling and he gets on the same page as Mahomes. I think that's great. I love Xavier Worthy. He's a key piece outside. Like just spe. I do think they need that, that third receiver to be like a $10 million guy. It sounds weird, but like a guy that you're paying that is just like a winner on the inside because you haven't had a winner on the inside because Kelsey. And if that doesn't matter, you need a slot guy and Rashee is a move around guy. But you need maybe not 10, maybe 6 to 8 million dollar guy that you really trust that can come in and play really well.
C
Here's what I hear. I hear Chase believing that this is just going to be a new chapter to the dynasty. That's what I'm hearing through your tone when you're talking about the future.
A
Not even like a new chapter, like a different look to the dynasty. Like I do think, like, look, it might be I. There. I'm just gonna go on limb right now. I don't think there's any way that they miss the playoffs again next year. Like I just knowing the quarterback, knowing the, the. The. The freaking head coach and how our organizations run. I will like if I'm a betting man, which I'm not, I would bet a lot of money that there's no.
C
Way you took a hundred dollars from me last week.
B
You just lost it. You snaked it. I agree with you, Chase, but at the same time this is a different division than Patrick Mahomes has ever experienced. And it's not going to get worse in 2026 with Herbert and Bo Nix and Harlem and Sean Payton for sure. So let's spin it forward to that and where this AFC picture looks heading into the later part of December without the Kansas City Chiefs. I was at this game, guys in Denver between The Broncos and the Green Bay Packers. It had a. I was on the field pregame, a. A playoff feel to it with this game. Just a playoff. There was a fight pregame right next to where I was standing on the packers sideline. You know, this was. This was a game where attention, you know, emotions were high. They went, Broncos win 34, 26. I know Chase wants to get to Denver. I want to take you guys inside the locker room first after this win, because there was a couple of things that stood out to me. The first one was this. I talked to multiple players. Nobody even mentioned, not Sean Payton in his postgame speech, nobody. That they clinched a playoff spot with this win. It was not mentioned. You know why? Told me. Because, no, they knew. He was like, Adam Troutman.
A
Adam Trout.
B
And their Titan was like, by the way, don't misquote me. Like, we all knew we were going to the first.
A
Sure knew.
B
We all knew, but we didn't discuss it. Why didn't we discuss it? Because our focus is on the number one seed. This is one step closer to clearing the picture for the number one seed. That's what we're focused with in this.
C
So they don't care about the title right now. They just care about getting the 1 seed.
A
They got, like, 70% chance to get the 1 seed right now.
B
They have a 70% chance to get the 1 Seed. And the other part in that locker room that stood out to me is there's a little irritation from these players going, are we going to get this respect yet? Like, I was talking to Alex, who runs that defense, and he was like, yeah, we were underdogs at home. Yeah, okay. How many games have we won in a row now? Is it. Is it 11?
A
You can sort of see Bo Nix's comments, too, in the media.
B
That's the way those guys were. They were like, you can keep picking against it. I don't know why anybody.
A
You know where that comes from, James. And, you know, I mean, you guys.
B
Know Sean Payton, the big man.
A
Dude, Sean Payton is in. This is. This is like, you cannot measure this. And I lived it for five years. The amount of confidence that Sean Payton instills in you and his team is. Is unmeasurable. And you can't. You can't. You can't put something on that to understand, like, what it feels like as a player, especially because a lot of times in this situation, they're like, oh, like the head coach be like, oh, don't read your press clippings. We want an 11 in a row Sean's like, no one respects you. It's just constant, constant, constant. And it just makes you, like, like, yeah, screw these guys. Like, let's go play. Like, the. Just what he's able to do. That locker room is unbelievable. And I'm with you, James, because I watched the game and I'm like, first of all, this is Bo Nix's might be bonus Knicks best game ever.
B
That was. That was the sentiment in the locker room. Chase.
A
Yes.
B
Multiple players. This is the best I've ever seen, okay?
A
And it really is. Because if you really go back and you really watch that game against, by the way, a top five defense in almost every single major category, Bo Nix made big throw time and time again. So people who are doubting Bo Nix's ability to take his game to the next level, I think he's worked through, to be completely honest, that sort of sophomore slump that a lot of people have. And look, they put up 34 points against the top five scoring defense, and that's their second highest scoring output of the year. And you do it at home in one of the biggest games of the year in the toughest test, because the packers came in. They came in rolling. Like, if you would have told me that, I think. What did the Packer score? 26. If you would have told me that the Broncos have to score 26 to win this game, I said nope. I said nope. And we talked about this time and time again on this show. Eventually, the offense is going to have to show up. And they showed up in a big space last time. And it just brings me to one conclusion. And I don't. I. You can question it and people can question. I just don't think it's questionable right now. The Broncos are the best team in the NFL, okay? They are the best team in the NFL. They're the first team to 12 wins. And you can say, oh, their schedule is this and, oh, their schedule is that.
C
And you think they're better than the Rams right now.
B
So I'm going to ask you this, Chase, and this is probably coming from Diana and myself. Let's go through the Rams and the Broncos. I'm just going to go down the list and you tell me, Broncos or Rams in each one of these, okay, Coach, Quarterback, Rams head coach.
A
Oh, my God.
C
That's actually probably the hardest question.
B
That's the toughest one. Right out the gate. I mean, they're both a plus. I mean, it's even.
A
Even, even, even.
B
You can take this.
A
You can go watch.
C
You can go watch we talk, James, we talk a lot about having the pulse of a team and hearing about the players are bought in. Right. And it's like sports terminology that's so overplayed and outdated actually. But, but what it actually means is this sort of psychological master class that both these coaches perform on their teams of finding these ways to tap into. Think about how many brains and lives that they're affecting every day and how they're able to get everyone.
A
Every little thing that they say. Every little thing.
B
They're both outstanding at it. They're outstanding.
C
And the way they can pay attention and by the way, the things they care about, the things that, that are part of their programs. I know coaches who want to be part of the approval process on what the social media team puts out. Right. Because they want everything.
B
Everything.
A
Yeah.
B
Yeah, totally.
C
Okay, Chase, I just try to save you there because that was no, we.
B
Can say, I can say even, we can say watch.
A
And here's, here's, here's. I'll make this quicker for everyone. I think the, I think the Rams at every position other than maybe offensive line go to the Rams and I would go on defense. Almost every position other than, you know, a corner would go to the Broncos.
C
Yeah.
A
Because the problems don't have all this stuff.
B
Okay, so good D line in la.
A
I get it. I get it. But here's the thing, though. Here's the thing though, James. I, I, I don't think you can compare the two because they won't see each other till the Super Bowl. Then we'll really find out. If you're comparing AFC and afc, then that's why, I think, because of, I mean, like, here's the deal. The rams have lost three games, right?
B
Rams are, rams are 11. 11, three, three. Right.
A
The Broncos are 12 and two. The Broncos are 12 and 2. Just, just, let's just go back to the losses that the Broncos have had. They lost on a BS leverage call to the Indianapolis Colts. Okay. And then you, and then you lose an overtime to the Justin Herbert led Chargers who were rolling there. So there's a very, and look, a loss is a loss. I get that. They are they five plays away from being undefeated. You can't say that against Rams.
C
You, you can't. I know why you're doing what you're doing. I hate that exercise. Right. Because there's so many freaking factors in all of these games. It could be weather, it's a call, a penalty.
A
Every game's different.
C
It's a. No, I know why you're doing. Because the point you're trying to make though, is they're closer to being per. They're closer to being perfect than the Rams have been.
A
Thousand percent.
C
And we've seen some of the blemishes in. In the Rams at times. So.
B
Which are.
C
Why do you think people around the league are still wondering it was the quarterback.
A
It was the quarterback and the receivers. And can you score points and can when you need to score? I mean, that's just what I'm hearing and that's what I'm seeing. And it's just like no one wants to give them their check. And also the schedule they played, it's not as tough as anyone else's.
B
Okay, I'm going to play devil's advocate really quickly. Let's just remember the three losses for the Rams. A blocked game winning field goal against Philadelphia lost them. The game against Philadelphia. They lost 26, 23 to the 49ers on a. Sean still believes the worst play call he's ever had as an offense by running right up the middle and getting stopped on fourth down when they were really on a doorstep, remember, of scoring and winning that game. And then played arguably their worst game of the entire season against the Carolina Panthers and still lost 31, 28.
A
So, bro, they lost to the Panthers.
C
Head to head, though. Who are you taking? Who's winning that game if that's the Super Bowl?
A
Why? I don't know. I don't know.
C
You like answering these kind of questions.
B
Who said they're the best team in football? So that's why I'm just.
A
No, they are. But. But here's the thing though. Head to head right now, like, I'm just going based on 12 and 2 record. I'm going based on everything I said. I mean, who knows? I mean, I would wash. They're going to tie. How about that?
B
I love it.
C
Chase, I know this. Well, actually, James, you're the better person for this question I have.
A
So you guys both think the Rams are the best team because I'm getting the feedback from you guys that you both think the Rams.
B
I just think it's a quarterback lead and Matthew Stafford's playing like the clear MVP of the league right now. And so I think that that kind.
A
Of separates a very interesting words.
B
I think after this past week, he.
A
Might be the clear is a very interesting.
B
James.
C
When I talked to people in Denver leading up to this game about like, you know, how they were, what the mood was there and the things that they were working on and. And they'd shared about this whole focus on the one seed. Obviously altitude plays into that. Right. That's why it's such a good home field advantage. Anyone say that to you in the locker room? Like, is that. Do you think that's a. A big factor in this? And the way the altitude does affect the opponent?
B
It's a big factor. And it's a big factor in what Sean's game plan was for this game against Green Bay. I sat in Adam Troutman's locker with him after the game and he knows, and Chase knows this. He knows playing in New Orleans, what Sean's like. He's played for him. And he was like, you don't want to know what our higher game plan was. We were not going to do what Sean usually does, which is chain personnel regularly. We're going to keep the same personnel on the field. We're going to get the play in as quickly as possible. Actually, he said Bo was sitting there going like this to Sean non stop, telling him to get the play in quicker because the plan was to keep Micah Parsons and these edge rushers and these pass rushers that want to get downfield on the field for as long as possible at altitude and wear them out. And there was a time where Sean had the offense look over in the second half onto the field and was like, look at them, they're exhausted. Like, look at them, they're tired. And that was part of Sean's game plan of using the altitude, using as aggressive as this really, really good defense like Chase mentioned against them. And they called their offense that way to take advantage of it. And then my last note on Denver, I'll just say this, and I just have to say it. I was talking to Davis Webb on the field, who by the way, is going to be a skyrocketing coach in this league. And eventually is he going to get spinner Jesus this year? I think he might get a little bit of love. I don't know if he's like a head cut. I think he might. He could leave possibly an OC job. He's great. But he said something to me, Chase, and we'll say this before we finish. He goes, he's the best thrower Bo Nix on the move in the NFL. And he goes, and I was Patrick Mahomes teammate and I played in college and I played with Josh Allen in Buffalo. He's the best thrower on the run in the NFL. I think took a big step this week.
A
Yeah. To say the best is, you know, maybe I. He's Exceptional though. That's like probably his strong suit for sure.
B
Yeah, for sure. And they change, they change their offense a lot. You know it Chase like, oh yeah.
A
I'm looking at plays. I just looked at some plays and I'm like 30% of them like, what is this called?
B
They're putting them on.
A
I don't know. I don't. It doesn't. Yeah, it doesn't. Doesn't look right.
B
It's. It's been unbelievable. Okay, then that takes us to Buffalo. Diana. Where they had a come from behind win. They're down 21 play, arguably their worst first half of football maybe this season couldn't really do much right on either side of the ball. They come back, then win this thing. 35, 31 are the. Josh Allen led Buffalo Bills the front runner possibly in the AFC without a Patrick Mahomes and a Joe Burrow. And we'll see what happens in Baltimore with Lamar Jackson and the Ravens.
C
First of all, this was the largest blown league to Gillette Stadium in the history of Gillette Stadium, which opened in 2002. So that's got to be burning them today. Look, what I like about Buffalo and I usually don't like this about teams this late in the year is they seem pretty comfortable in some of the muck that. That's self inflicted.
A
Right?
C
Like you're like, I'm sure Bill fans are watching this. I know. I was watching this game yesterday thinking this is done. Like this isn't even. They look defeated. That much better. And this is someone who knows how good Josh Allen is. By the way, this is a team in New England that prepared all week for this exact situation. Right. They knew that they would get up first. That that was like the thinking really. They knew that Josh Bills are slow starters and they've got this, this ability.
A
To.
C
A, never give up, but B, he just becomes an absolute monster when he's up against the wall.
B
So when you, when that's a great.
C
Word, your question is you sort of, you know, can the Bills do this? Can they do the Bills have Josh Allen and, and I, I know that's not a sexy answer, but we saw it. He won them the game on his back all by himself. And we've seen him do this how many times now that being said, we've said we've seen it before where it's not enough, but I think based on the fight that those guys showed against New England, a very sound team that had a lot of momentum headed into this very good team, felt like a playoff game. Right. This is a T shirt and hat game. New England was trying to cut their heads off.
A
Well, yeah. And exactly. And here's the thing though, Diana to me is like you said, a T shirt like the, the freaking Patriots could have won the division. And so backs against the wall down 21 division on the line, what does Josh Allen do? He just like completely takes over the, over the game. Now I do think the, the Bills defense played outstanding in the second half.
B
Yes.
C
Which was good to know.
A
Which was finally good to know. And what they did was they just switched up looks a lot. They never gave the same look over and over. It was this cover four. It was man, it was blitz, it was this. And they just really confused them. They need to start playing like that early in the game. Here's, here's, here's my whole take on the, on the Bills. If Josh Allen continues to play Superman like this and they win out, there's a really good possibility depending on what happens with the Rams that Josh Allen's going to win his back to back mvp. Like I, I, I, I, I think to me if you really, really look at and compare the roster of Matthew Stafford who's playing outstanding like he's for sure MVP right now. But you look at roster that, that he has and you compare it to the roster specifically offensively roster that the Buffalo Bills have who's most valuable to their team and what, who, who, who only wins. Who only wins if Josh Allen plays out of his mind. That's the only way they win is if Josh Allen plays. So I, I don't think it's Josh Allen right now but I do think that Josh Allen is absolutely playing himself into MVP conversation again and just reminding everyone like hey don't forget about us. And oh by the way, I have the most playoff experience out of anyone in the AFC maybe combined. You know what I mean?
B
That's the best, that's the best point because when you look at it Jace, who's the most dangerous just quarterback player in the afc when you look at is it Justin Herbert, is it Drake May? Is it just having that conversation, you know, it's Josh Allen and then after him he's got the most touchdowns in the league again it's really, really fascinating. I'll throw the guy as his running mate James Cook has been outstanding as he's run the football well has really helped that offense to quickly flip on.
C
You Chase, if the Patriots had won yesterday. Was Drake May your MVP behind Matthew Se.
A
Yeah, oh yeah, yeah because that's, that's even I, I think an even worse roster offensively than the Buffalo Bills, so. Absolutely.
C
Chase, I'm glad you said that because I do think there's been a little bit of smoke and mirrors with New England, right. Like, because they've, they've been really successful and Drake is phenomenal. I think there are some people giving them more credit than, than. I don't want to say they don't deserve it, but yesterday it was revealed that there's not a, there's not a lot of on that roster.
A
Second half. Second half. Especially like when the Bills came up and said, hey, we're going to pray press man to man and we're going to just hem up your receivers. How are you going to beat me? Drake May's not a great runner. He's good at escaping pocket throwing on the move, but like he ain't Josh Allen, you know what I mean? So I just think there's a different to it. I think the Patriots still really good team. They can going to win a playoff game. I just, it's going to be interesting to see how they bounce back. But I would just say weapon wise, you're, you're, you're right.
C
Yeah.
B
Yeah, good point. Really. But you know who probably in that locker room is not making, you know, these guys think they're better than they are? Diana? Mike Vrabel. I think he's very realistic in where this team is, in knowing his team and where they're.
C
I saw his press conference on Monday. He was in like the best mood and I was wondering, like, I kind of wanted that like, grumpy, moody person.
A
Maybe you got some.
C
I wonder if there was like a little bit of this was good for us. We've come down to earth, we've exposed ourselves. Now we can fix it, you know.
A
Oh, he wanted, he, he probably didn't want this to lose. He wanted to win division. But like, it's probably good for the long run. Yeah, yeah.
B
Got a young team. Guys believe just like the Chiefs.
C
We've come full circle team, full circle.

James Palmer, Diana Rossini, Chase, Daniel with you and we tease it and we have to talk about it. The NFC west is fascinating. There are three just absolutely outstanding teams as the number one seed with the Rams, they're 11 and three. Oh yeah, the Seahawks are 11 and three. And the 49ers, who I thought they maybe called Chase to try to get there and maybe just provide some help, as depleted as they've been with injuries, are 10 and 4. Like this is a division that just has so much, so much competitiveness at the top of it. And Thursday we are going to have the Rams and the Seahawks going at it. Most likely the Rams without devonte Adams. We'll see. But is I guess I'm kind of curious what the conversation should be with these three teams. Are the is this hindering the Rams chances chase of that of their playoff kind of run pedigree because of the battles they have to go through within the division to get.
A
Yeah, I mean, look, here's my thing. I just, I just think the NFC west in general is just a pretty crazy division because like if you just look at from the beginning of the year, who's the one team you'd Say, hey, probably come out on top based on just their. It would be the Rams, right? Like, I'm like, oh, the Rams are going to run away with this division. And then you look at, I mean, the Seahawks and everything they're doing and then the 49ers, it's just, I think the Rams are the best team in the nfc and I do think what happens is by playing these teams, it just gets them ready for a playoff run. And they're such ingrained in battles and it's sort of crazy that in my opinion, you know, the sea it's probably between the Seahawks and Rams. Any of them can win their division. Like, you just don't know them in the 49ers went out and everyone loses one or two here. It's just crazy. To me specifically, I think the team that stands out to me the most is probably the least talked about team in a long time. That's Kyle Shanahan in the 49niners. Like, I think Kyle Shanahan is doing a spectacular job with everything that he's been handed because you look like no Bosa, no Warner. Brock Purdy has missed time. George Kittle's missed chunks of the season. No Iuk. Those are their five guys like studs and they somehow they're 10 and 4. And I know we say this and I know that, oh, it's Kyle Shannon's best to me with what he's been able to do this year. Year. Like, he's not going to win coach of the year because it's going to be one of the other guys. But like he is, like he is coaching his tail off. And I think that's just so super impressive that it's just swept under the rugs. You're like, oh, everyone talks about the Seahawks. Oh, everyone talks about the Rams. But dude, the 49ers are one win away from both of these teams that no one's talking about.
C
It seems like such a grind too, because they're not winning in, in like the most beautiful fashion. Right? Like, it's a little sloppy at times. Who cares though, right? They're winning games. We've mentioned before, I think Robert Salla coming back on that coaching staff as a defensive coordinator, I mean, just look at he's working with, as you pointed out, too collectively on defense. And, and they, they are finding ways to do it. Then on top of it, you've got this Brandon IUK situation, right? Think about how good this team could be if they had Brandon iuk, right? Like, that's where I kind of start thinking. I mean, yes, you always try to think about what a team would be like if they were healthy as well. Obviously, if Nick was there and Fred Warner, they would be dangerous. But, you know, this IU situation has, I bet the best way to describe it has just been bizarre. Right? The fact that they voided his guarantees, which we don't see very often. Not a lot of players want to lose that kind of money. Kyle Shanahan revealed in his press conference that he hasn't seen him in a month. Yeah, a month. Just, you know, and you just hope. You. First of all, you hope the player is okay.
A
Right?
C
Because this is bizarre. You hope that he's got good people around him. You hope that his agent is giving him good counsel and doing everything they possibly can to make sure he's being taken care of. Hopefully he's got good friends and family. We know that he's really close with Jaden Daniels in Washington, and I'm sure they're all trying their best to figure out what's going on there. But the 49ers, you could just even tell by the way Kyle was talking about it that, yeah, they're frustrated, but it's a situation I don't think he's ever faced before of a player just not wanting to be there. So. But it just, It's. It's unfortunate because you hear George Kittle, you've heard Brock Purdy talk about it, about how good Brandon Iuk is and how good he could be and what he could do for this offense. But Chase, I'm with you. Look, you're going to hear the Mike variables that the, The Ben Johnsons, maybe even the Mike McDonald's getting the attention for. For coach of the year. But I've got Kyle Shanahan up there as well.
B
Yeah, I throw Liam Cohen into the mix. Individual.
C
I always forget about Liam.
B
Jags fan over there.
A
How about Sean Payton?
B
I think, dude, what I, I asked this. I'll say this, actually, it's an interesting one. I, I've been asked this on the radio a bunch here in, In Denver. Chase, My. My. My pushback is, yes, he's completely deserving. Yes, he should be in the conversation and yes, he. He has a legitimate chance in my. And could win coach of the year this year. Usually, expectations play a factor, and the expectations for New England were in the cellar. The expectations for Jacksonville were probably equally down there. Maybe this is Sean's doing because he created the expectations, but they were sky.
C
Here's what he did wrong. He had success last year.
A
Yeah.
C
That's what he did wrong.
B
He's building. Then it's.
A
Then it's the Bears. Ben Johnson.
C
Exactly.
B
Exactly. In the Bears. That's a great point.
A
I think should.
B
Yeah, I. I think that part of it plays a little bit of a factor. I think an interesting aspect of this is, as I look at our playoff simulator model here, the three teams in the NFC with the best chance of the number one seed are these three teams.
A
Yeah, like I just saw that.
B
That's. That's unbelievable.
A
Chance, 28 chance, 11.
B
11 chance.
C
Wait, say that again.
B
J. The three teams that have the greatest probability.
A
I just.
B
Of getting the number one seed in the NFC are all in the NFC West.
A
How about that?
C
There you go.
B
I mean, that's fascinating. The Seahawks, I don't think the 49ers are. I don't think they are either. I mean, they're at 11% chance. The Seahawks are at a 28% chance of the number one seed, and the Rams are at 56. But if the Seahawks beat the Rams on Thursday, the Seahawks jump to a 49% chance of getting the number one seed.
A
Wow.
B
And so these divisional games in this NFC west are going to be absolutely fascinating if we see devonte Adams miss for a stretch chase. Does this Rams team take a step back? I'm fascinated to think no leader of touchdown catches in the NFL could miss some time. And I don't think this offense misses a beat. That's how good they are.
A
I agree with you, and I think Diana wrote about it in her comment. I'll let her talk a little bit more about it, but just on pure tape, and when you're seeing it, this 13 personnel package, sort of Sean McVeigh is. Is taken away from. From, I mean, 25% of the PAT like, plays are 13, which means, hey, one, one back, one receiver, three tight ends. And you know, Diana did a good job explaining it, but for. For all intents and purposes, you put three tight ends out on the field, you're usually getting three linebackers. Well, these tight ends are not just blocking guys, they're receiving type guys, too. And so they're able to throw the ball to 13. Put Matthew Stafford under center, play action with 13 while they're in base, three linebackers. And those linebackers can't cover like they would a nickelbacker or stuff like that. So if they want to go nickel, then what are you going to do with 13? And. And you're going to run it. And so I just think the balance has been there. Yes. Devonte Adams. Here's where it's going to hurt them the most. The red zone. I think devonte Adams in the red zone is an absolute menace. Him and Stafford on the same page. I don't know if. I mean, if it's extended and you. You don't have them at all for the next three games. Yeah, it might, might. It might. But you look at Puka Nakua and you look at Kyron Williams and you look at these three tight ends, and it, I just. It's going to affect them, but I don't think it's going to be as much as some people think.
C
Yeah. I do think the Rams, though, are a good example of how this league has flipped. Right. Because instead of having the fullback. Right. Chase, it's like you've got the, the four legit NFL tight ends. You got a run game, a good defense, elite quarterback. And when you look around the league right now and you look at the teams that are having success with that formula or a similar one, and putting.
A
Quarterbacks under center, like, under center.
C
Buffalo, Chicago, Detroit in Indianapolis. Right. Like, it. Actually, it's, it's just, it's an interesting pattern to watch here of a little bit of shift, and they're having successes with that. Right. Chargers to top 10 rushing offenses. So. And look, I, I just give Sean McVeigh credit. He's not even 40 yet, which is so nuts.
B
He's not 40 yet.
C
He'll be 40 in January, so he'll soon to be 40. But, you know, I'm not gonna, I'm.
A
Not gonna cheat him that for 10 years.
C
He was hired at 30.
A
I feel like he's already gone through his midlife coaching crisis and he just.
C
Had his second baby. Like, life is. Life is good for Sean McVay, but. But I just give him a lot of credit for being able to continue to change and, and push forward. I know he's young and he should be doing that, but I, I just, I. I think this is why he's considered to be one of the best ones, which is why it's so hard to compare with someone like Sean Payton, who I think a lot of people around the league also believe is one of the better offensive coaches in football. But would you say, of everyone left now, that Stafford and McVeigh are the most proven duo that would be left in the NFC and for the playoffs? They are. They have to be no one else.
A
Yeah. I mean, you look at Ben Johnson and Caleb. No. Sirianni and hurts, it'll be Syrian Hurts.
B
But it's another new play caller, I guess. But you would say Sirianni has won a ton with Jalen Hurts.
A
That would be the one that I'd be like, like, you know.
C
All right, so you mentioned Seattle, right? Because they're going to play the Rams on Thursday.
B
Yeah.
C
Okay, so like, Seattle to me. I mean, God bless their kicker for. For helping them yesterday.
B
Got all the points.
C
Yeah, yeah. Seattle's defense has only led one touchdown since Thanksgiving and they've got nine turnovers in that.
A
Wait, wait, wait. Hold on, hold on, hold on. Please just say that again for me.
C
Seattle's defense has only allowed one touchdown since Thanksgiving and has nine turnovers.
B
What?
A
Oh, my God. So that's wild, right?
C
So that's the defensive side of the ball. Their head coach, obviously defensive minded. I mentioned in my column, just going back. Remember, Mike's in his second year with. With Seattle. He's now won 10 games again in his second year. He had success last year. And the story goes that John Schneider was out in Baltimore to interview him. And Schneider was like getting ready to go meet with him in the hotel and was like, all right, let me just go grab a quick cup of coffee at Starbucks. And he went there and, you know, it's like the meeting was at 9, it was like 8:40. And he gets a text from McDonald like, hey, I'm ready. And Schneider's like, cool. Like, it's not for. It's not for another 20 minutes right now.
B
Diana, what's the. What's the. What's the line there for you, like being early or being like, hey, that's too early. I still have other stuff I gotta do.
A
But that's not too early.
B
That's not too early. 20 minutes.
C
I was a little judgy of Mike in that story because I'm like, that's aggressive, right? You're interviewing for the head coach position and you're texting the gm, I'm ready. Like, let's go. You know, like, it just seems a little. I thought it was awesome. I think for. For the three of us who have all been accused of being try hards. I'm sure at one point in our lives. Lives, it's. It just felt a little bit like that. But Schneider, Schneider, Schneider orders his coffee. He's like, hey, dude, get my coffee. You want anything? And then all of a sudden, he feels a body behind him and he turns and it's Mike. And so he left the hotel to just meet with him at Starbucks. That's how Excited he was to just meet. They hugged and the rest was history. And he became and great story. And I, I'd asked Schneider over the years last few months as well. Like, you know, you've made tons of good decisions. They have, they've done really good jobs. Whether it was signing Lawrence, whether it's bringing Sam Darnold on, right. Moving on from Geno. What was your best. What was your best decision you think you've made? And he said probably two years ago, hiring my head coach, best decision. And it's a, it's a good one. So I look, I think Seattle, they get, they got to make some fixes on offense here as we saw. And Chase Clint Kubia is getting some buzz around the league for head coaching opportunities.
A
Yeah, already.
C
Why do you think him and Sam work so well?
A
Well, I think Sam was with him, knew him. Right. And 40, was it 49ers when they were with each other or it was 49ers? Yeah. For a year. Yeah. And I just think one he's, he's not only an exceptional play caller, he's just, he's just that cutting edge type guy. Right. But also everything, everything I've heard about him is like how he is around the players is like really, really easy to comprehend and to understand and like guys like want to play for him and it's. That's like sounds so easy. It's like, oh, shouldn't that be a, shouldn't that as a coach should be. But like when you're dealing with old men and not like college age kids, sometimes these, these, these guys are set in their ways and you can, you know, have that disconnect. But he's just like such a player's coach and extremely bright, like great leader. And when you have all that and you have fun stuff to do offensively that just con constantly works then I think that's a good fit.
B
Yeah, I love it. I love watching Seattle play offensive football. Of the way Clint Kubiak designs it up, takes what his dad kind of helped create and kind of made it his own Chase and kind of has done a lot of interesting things with it. And they were already good and they just wanted to get better when they got Rashid Shahid and he's starting to get in footing into a little bit. I don't think Sam Darnold played bad this past Sunday. It's just gotta get yourselves into the end zone. We're gonna finish this up on Scoop city. Talking about a one Mr. Philip Rivers. I'm not sure if anybody's heard his name come up this week, but we're gonna break down what he did in his first game back in five years at 44 years old. More Scoop City.

Welcome back to Scoop City on a Monday. James Palmer. Diana Marie Rossini joins me as well as Chase Daniel. I saw that down there. I didn't know your middle name.
A
Now I do you know my first name? James.
B
It's not Chase.
C
Nope.
B
Is it? Cut to the.
A
Cut to the. Nope.
B
Okay. What, what, what are we over here?
A
Here I have three first names.
B
Okay.
A
Starts with a W. Does Diana know it?
B
Wyatt.
A
Oh, that's a sick one.
B
That would be a sick one. Is like a, is a. Chase is a good one. But Wyatt's like a great quarterback.
A
Wyatt Chase.
B
Wyatt Daniel. Oh, Wyatt Daniel. They're just playing it in Texas high school football. Oh, it's funny.
A
Just slinging it like the 44 year old Rivers.
B
Philip Rivers returns to the field. Five years he's been away. He goes 18 of 27 for 120 yards. Touchdown, interception, one sack, which I was actually kind of surprised by and a 73 rating. Chase, you watched the film. What were you looking for before you turned it on specifically?
A
Yeah.
B
And then what did you see once you watched it?
A
Yeah. So that's a great question. So I watched it live at times because I was at Disney with my kids. And then.
B
Wonderful.
A
This morning I went back and just sort of blew through it pretty quickly and then I went back again. So I watched it three times before the show and honestly, like, it wasn't awful. Like, I think that's like, I thought it may have in respect to Phil and I know him and he's a great dude. I didn't, I guess I didn't know what to expect. Let's just put it that, like, I didn't know what to expect because you look at the Seahawks defense and they're not a defense that's just going to sit back in zone coverage and just be like, okay, have all day to throw. But Phil's always been a guy, even back to five years ago when he played, he gets rid of the ball extremely quickly. Like, and there were some times that in the game he shouldn't have been throwing outside the, the numbers. Like it, the, the arm strength. Here's, here's the thing. The arm strength was glaring. Like it just isn't there. Which why should it be? You're 44, bro. You haven't thrown. Here's what was there. And that I loved seeing everything inside the numbers and hashes was extremely accurate and on time. There's some drops too. Like I'm saying, like. Like he's doing like a what. What you would do in shotgun. Like a catch and throw, meaning like a quick game. He's taking the quickest five steps he's ever had to get away from center. They put him in shotgun a lot, very rarely under center and a lot of screens to get the ball of his hands. There were some really good throws, though. Like, there was a back shoulder throw to get him into field goal range that I'm like, man, vintage Phil. Here's the one thing, though, that stood out to me more than anything. And I don't know if Daniel Jones did it. I don't know if Anthony Richardson's gonna do it. I don'. You know, I think Phil will probably be the guy going forward. He was so good at the line of scrimmage. Like, there were multiple times where he's up there after the first, like 20 plays that he's in. He's like, he's seeing it, man. He's seeing it. He's checking the runs, he's checking the screens. He's.
C
He's.
A
And I'm like, dude, you were just coaching high school football. How in the world do you. And can you operate this system? I guess operating it, yeah. But like, dude, it's different.
C
I know.
A
It is so different. And so, like, I thought the game plan was going to be really vanilla, but there was lots of shifts in motions. And I'm just thinking about in my mind if I got there on Monday and to be able. If I'm like, want to go run the Bronco system or the Chief system, which I've known I couldn't have handled. Like, there's no way, like. And so I just think the mental aspect of things, it's there. There's physical limitations.
C
For sure. You use the word run and talking. There was no running. But yes, run the system.
A
No checking the run.
C
No, no, no. I know what you're saying. Just talking to people in indie, they were like, do not expect a lot of movement. Like, this guy is about to get sacked left and right. It's going to be a Jonathan Taylor special. But he can still throw the ball well. And I think that was a pretty good way to impressed Preview. What that was. No, no, I was too. You do not love sports. Forget football, just sports. If you were not watching that game, rooting for him.
A
Yes.
C
Which is why I gave credit to Seattle. Like, thank goodness they were home for Seattle sake. Like, if this was an indie, that would have Been a tough environment.
A
They should have won the game. They should have won the game. Billy or Indie, they should have won the game.
C
Then they cut to his high school team and they're watching the game and the kids are jumping around.
A
It's the best, it's one of the.
B
Best stories all year.
C
It really is. And, and he's also a fun character. Like he's happy and joyful and all the things you want. And I loved his messaging was, was like I wanted to show my, my, my athletes, like my players that I coached. Like, look, you know, coach wasn't afraid. Like, oh my gosh, come on. It's fantastic.
B
Yeah, I was sitting, I was sitting in the press box in Denver with that game on my screen and everybody from like the row behind me of like hall of Famer Steve Atwater's like, James, how's Rivers doing? Like, everybody's just asking me like as I have the game on in front of me, like, what's Phil looking like? It was like, it was like the talk of a practice press box of a very, very good game. Before we go Chase, I do want to ask you this. When, when the film is now out on a 44 year old Philip Rivers. What do you see from defenses this week and next week? Is it, we're coming down. We're not. They're not going to be able to go downfield. Like how do you see what, you know, they, there was so much of an unknown now that they got to see him play a game.
A
They're going to. How I would play Phil going forward is you're going to get in man to man coverage and press the receivers and hope your pass right gets there. Like just don't like try like the ball is coming out within under two and a half seconds almost every single time. And there if you're playing off, you're going to sit on everything because there was a lot of short underneath completions. Where I thought Phil was his best was the middle of the field. He did miss. Now I will say respect, buddy. You're, you're a Hall of Famer and I couldn't, I couldn't get to where you're at. Never, ever, not even close. But he missed a big, a big double move down the left sideline where he went five step dropping through it a little too early and the guy was, was wide open before half. If they score there, you know, who knows how the game's gonna play out all this stuff. But I do, I do think once he gets another week under him the, his timing will be better. Right. But I would sit, I would sit on everything. Like, like the ball's not traveling more than 20 yards in the air.
B
Yeah.
A
The best part of the story is, I'm sure you guys saw it though, like the insurance stuff. Did you see the insurance stuff? Stuff?
B
Oh, I saw the insurance stuff.
A
Phil has, Phil has 10 kids and his wife Tiffany. So that's 12 people in his family. And a lot of people don't understand that when you are an NFL player and you retire, you get through Cigna, you get five years of free insurance. And once those five years are up, then you turn in and you got to pay for 12 person family. And I, I know it's expensive, it's hard, the insurance markets to all that stuff. Right. And he's made money, I get that.
B
But.
A
But he's sort of genius because he came back. He gets three games on the active roster, that clock resets, but also his hall of Fame resets. So he's going to get free insurance.
B
For another five years and he still could technically be a first ballot hall of Famer. Like because.
A
No.
B
Yeah.
A
Just never really went through.
B
Yeah, that's what I'm saying. That's not like he missed out on being.
A
That's a great story.
B
It's awesome. It's outstanding. It's going to be a wonderful week. I enjoyed spending my Monday with both of you. It was, it was outstanding.
A
Any final thoughts?
B
Diana, any final thoughts? I saw you working the phones as always, which is usually what happens.
C
I. Well, you know what happens is Monday afternoons, like we're getting all these injury reports. Sandy Reid just came out and said Patrick Mahomes is going to get another. A second opinion in Dallas. Dallas for that knee. So the, There's a lot of stuff on the injury front, you know, and it's just, it's that time of year, folks. Steve Wilkes from the New York jets, the defensive coordinator, was fired. So, so we got a lot. And then we got to. We're going to be hitting the time of year where more firings are going to happen and the hiring cycle starting soon. And you know, the New York Giants are working hard. Did you see that, what I reported Chase about Marcus Freeman.
A
Yeah.
C
Being on the list for the New York Giants. What do you think of that?
A
I am, I love Marcus, actually. I think he's. He's a great college coach. I am just not in favor of college coaches going to the NFL with no experience.
C
Yeah.
A
Just, just that just doesn't work out.
C
Yeah.
A
I can't think of.
C
We're gonna be doing more of this, right, James? I'm sure we're gonna have a whole show probably on coaching. So this will be good.
B
Yes, this will be. This will be real good. I haven't heard anything about Notre Dame lately. I think everything's fine over there. Okay. All good. Perfect. Chase, Diana, take it easy. I see you soon.
A
