In this week's Town Hall, Alex, Bob, Tom, and Frode discuss how it takes on average 25 minutes to create every 1 minute of a course. Plus, what's up-and-coming for Scrimba's beloved Discord bot and mascot, Pumpkin!

In the first Town Hall of 2022, new Scrimba teacher Tom Chant joins us to share what they've been working on when it comes to module 6 (next-level JavaScript) of the Front-end Developer Career Path. Per shares how Scrimba made international news last week. Leanne shares some interesting stats from #JavaScriptmas. Bob chimes on Scrimba's pedagogy. Frode and Abdellah from the engineering-side of Scrimba share some challenges and plans for the future of the Scrimba Discord bot and Scrimba platform in general!

Alex, Leanne, Per, and Michael share updates to the Discord server (the power hour is back!), share how to answer non-technical interview questions like "what is your biggest weakness?" and because this is our last town hall (formerly, Fireside chat) of the year, we answer some fun, random questions like if we prefer light or dark mode, and why Michael would likely be an accountant or plumber if he didn't study aerospace engineering at university.

Alex, Leanne, Bob, Per, and Frode talk about the great Scrimba Discord hack of 2021, new updates to the Scrimba Discord bot, and how module 6 is coming along. Attention soon turns to the chat and questions around if you should learn data structure and algorithms before applying to Junior developer jobs (spoiler: nah).
