Host - College Football Analyst
Hi everybody. Welcome on in to Seaball. Get ball. The playoff week is upon us. We're through the championship weeks now. It's, I mean it, it's, it's portal season. Everybody's well, well aware of that. But we do have playoff games on Friday. That will preview with Alabama and Oklahoma and then we'll also have a pretty big game on Saturday at noon, at noon in the afternoon. A and M in Miami. Crazy that that's a noon game. I can't wait to see the home crowds for the, for the playoff games. I think it's going to be really, really fun. We'll start off before we get to the, before we get to the matchups, before we talk a little bit about the Heisman and, and our victory formation at the end like we do all the time. Start off with a little bit of portal news. And this isn't going anywhere. There's going to be plenty more of this to come from, from playoff teams. If you didn't see Trinidad Chambliss talking in front of the microphone today, you might hear that on Podium Kings he had to answer questions about the portal news and where he might be. And it was a very generic, very, very based answer of. We'll discuss that when I'm done. We'll discuss that after the playoff run. And so I think that's going to be a lot of playoff teams will have a lot of those conversations. We'll get questions asked. Guys that we do know are going different places that are big names. DJ Lagway, I think it was, it was pretty clear watching DJ Lagway, the talent is exceptionally high. Like, exceptionally high. He can throw it, he can run enough. But, man, one thing, if you go back and you look at Lagway, like throughout his whole career, man, the injury bug has bit him like crazy. And if I'm a coach and I'm taking that next step and I want to go buy DJ Lagway, I think the one thing that would, would give me a little pause, a little bit of, of hesitation. I'll start with the thing I love. Like, I love the arm. I love the attitude. And when I say the attitude, I like that he's very humble. And if you watched any given Saturday and we talked about that before the season and just talked about his personality and he was very honest and open. But Brent, I got a question for you on this. When you see. And Brent Rollins from On3 from, from PFF. He writes for college football, watches college football. He's a, he's a freak like me. Like, we, we love this stuff. We eat it, we breathe it. Here. Here's the thing, Brent, I can talk to you about Lagway and I can talk to you about the injuries. I can talk to you about the arm. I can talk to you about the Mobility. If I was buying the biggest thing for me with all of these QBs and Lagway in particular. Do you have it? Does he have the it factor? And I can just tell you from watching from afar, I haven't seen it. And so if I'm buying and this is my guy like to, to lead my franchise, to stand in front of the players, to, to give the rally cry to go into battle like I need you to have it. And you know Graham Mertz, when we saw any given Saturday, he had it like he had the it factor. He had the talking and he just, I think he had the leadership. He had that part down pat. So when I say that, do you agree with, with that assessment and what do you think about Lagway in the Portal?
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
I mean it's hard because you saw the positivity, how they, how they ended his freshman campaign.
Host - College Football Analyst
Yeah.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
And nothing was right this year like nothing, nothing went right like this. The injuries to start and then things around him and then it just kind of cratered and fell completely. But I do think with him. And then also the other one that we're going to talk about here in a second, Dylan Raula. I think you saw that Both of those QBs, any QB needs stuff around them.
Host - College Football Analyst
Oh yeah.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
And good things around them. It just makes you better. It's always going to make you better. But these two definitively need it. They like when things crumbled around them this past year it impacted their play. Both QBs, both Lagway and Raiola had more toner worthy plays than they had big time throws. This year both played worse as sophomores than they did as freshmen. Like it just and to me that was where if you look at the supporting cast for each it got worse in a way and that's where that's buyer beware for me.
Host - College Football Analyst
You think, you think Raila played worse than he did his freshman year this year?
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
I mean in over time. Yes. I mean at certain points I think there was, you could say so. But like as the season went on.
Host - College Football Analyst
Yeah, yeah, I, I but, but here's the thing. Extremely flawed supporting cast. The offensive line was really bad and I think that's listen quarterbacks. I got a great I, I How about this nugget too? First of all the, the, the quarterback, the portal started as a transfer portal for quarterbacks that that's exactly what it started as like and they're the ones that are, that are tops on this list all the time. But how about this Brent? There's eight five star QBs between 2023 and 2024. How many do you think haven't entered the portal?
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
Well, I know the answer. It's one.
Host - College Football Analyst
Okay, one.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
It's arch.
Host - College Football Analyst
Arch Manning is the only one. Out of Nico, out of Dante Moore, out of Jackson, Arnold, out of Malachi, Nelson, out of DJ Lagway, Dylan Raiola and now. And Julian Sand. So all of those guys, like these are highly recruited kids, man. Like, these are five star, can't miss prospects. You don't get five stars unless you're. You're a dude, man. Like, but guess what? Quarterback is the most dependent group in the country. Like it's the most dependent group in all of college football. You got to have an offensive line, you got to have guys that can win. Like Soursby, who we're going to talk about here in a few. I don't, I don't know as much about him because I didn't see his guys went around him a lot either. Like I love a lot of things I saw from him. But it's, it's a, it's a position that's dependent upon others. It's a, it's a position in the NFL you watch all the time. They go to a new system and you're like, dang, that guy's not that bad. I thought he was trash. No, no, he was playing with trash.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
And so you know about the Heisman in a little bit. Like, look what it did for him, for Mendoza, being in that system with that surrounding talent, in that structure, it accentuates all of the talent. And that's like if I'm Raola like him specifically because of how he plays. Like there's some systems to me that like Oregon is one that where it's like, hey, I got guys dudes at receiver and balls out quick a lot of times, like it's not QB run dependent because he can't do that. That's not his game at all. I think he could very much help himself in that regard by getting in the best shape of his life next year as he rebounds from the industry injury. But like finding those pieces in the system that fits him and fits what they do will matter immensely in terms of how they play. But even if you look at this year, the top 20 graded quarterbacks in the Power 4, only six didn't have yet to or didn't transfer. So it's just, it's the way of the world and it's one. It's actually. And it begs the question of what you brought up. This is to me the Number one question with all this, is the five star QB worth the investment?
Host - College Football Analyst
If I'm, if I'm making decisions, this is, this is what stinks. And I hate this for high school recruits but I'm making a lot of my decisions based on the portal. Like there's going to be, there's going to be several position specific groups where I'm heavily dependent on the portal and quarterback's going to be one. Like why am I guessing why, why am I trying to say, hey, if this, that and the other hits, yeah, they can do it. I've seen it. Like I know they've done it. Now listen, there's, there's also different worlds to this, right? Like there's some places that have to take chances. Like yes, they have to take. There's some spots where you're not in the game. Like you're going to have to take, you're going to have to take people's leftovers. Like that's just the way it works. And sometimes you're going to have to bet on the talent. But there are a lot of places I don't have to do that. Like I know exactly who I am. I'm going to get me a quarterback who's a five star. I'm going to let him sit and I'm going to have either a guy that's been, that's proven himself and is playing well and he's the next one to step in or else I'm going to go to the portal. But not every situation is, is the same. Like Dylan Riola not having a lot of help, landing spots for him that are interesting. Don't tell me Texas Tech because that is, that would be the biggest craziness because of the Mahomes, the hair, the throwing style. Like that would be nuts. That would go, that would go nuclear. That would be a, probably an ungood thing to him to happen. Yes, certainly that wouldn't happen but from Texas, so correct. But if you were ranking. And here's. This is me, this is me. If I'm ranking the guys right now out of these three guys, like I would probably take Soresby number one easily. And I don't think a lot of people think that though because I think he's the perfect guy. So let's talk about what he does. Well, Brendan Sorsby gets the ball out. He's got a lightning quick release. I mean he flicks that wrist and that thing comes out with some juice. Like really good juice. Really good in the run game. Like really good in the Run game. I mean, good athlete, toughness. I've seen him be really, really tough. You know, I, when I say that I didn't see the guys, I just didn't see a lot of guys around him winning man to man coverage. Like that's, that's a part where I think Cincinnati wasn't elite around him. If you put him with some dudes, could he make those plays down the field? I would like to see more from him. But you're talking about him in a signetti offense. Makes total sense. Like that's, that's what they want to be. That's exactly what Indiana wants to be because their line is never going to be, you know, great movers, you know, road graders. They're not going to be elite of elite. They got to spend their money on the weapon at QB and they got to spend the money on the weapons around them and then they've got to try to find ways to patchwork the other stuff together. But I love that, that he can get the ball out, that he can make those quick reads. You can do some fun things with him. That, that's a good one for me. Texas Tech probably comes up for everybody because he's, he's another guy who's a Texas, Texas, Texas native. And Texas Tech's got the cheddar man. Like it's very simple. Like they're going to have the ability to. Every room they get in is gonna be like, how much? Okay, that's it.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
And their situation is very interesting because of how much they. And even McGuire, the coach, Joe McGuire talked about, hey, when Will Hammond come in and play? Well, hey, we signed him to a two year contract, so don't be coming after him in the portal kind of thing. So are they going to just roll with Will Hammond or.
Host - College Football Analyst
Well, and then he tore his ACL this year. So that's also. That might, that might change your plans right away. A dark horse. I have not seen one person put this out there at all. Interested to see Buster Faulkner and Florida. That to me would make a lot of sense. Sorsby would make a lot of sense in that offense with his ability to run multiple things. The hose, the arm strength, the, the RPOs, the running, you know, in a system where he, he clearly defines it for you and makes it pretty simple and is going to, is going to use you to maximum capability and all kinds of different elements of football. Like that makes, that makes a lot of sense to me to. That could be a dark horse for them for Florida to get their guy if they, if they don't get some of those guys, some of those other guys are looking for.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
I think he, I think that one probably ends up being maybe a little closer to home. More familiarity already in that regard. But Messamaker to me on his own.
Host - College Football Analyst
On his own roster at Georgia Tech.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
But yeah, yeah, Messamaker is the one to me that makes perfect sense for Indiana next year. If you're looking at sort of fits and just watching him play, he looks very Mendoza like tall, lanky kid.
Host - College Football Analyst
I disagree.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
Quick release.
Host - College Football Analyst
I disagree. For one area I, I think you're, I think you're spot on that Messamaker is going to be really good and have a chance to prove himself. I need the QB run element because you saw this year you're going to get dinged. You're going to be hit. Master Maker is an okay athlete. He's not a, he's not a really good athlete. Like if I'm, if I'm.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
Sorsby is a really good runner.
Host - College Football Analyst
Sorsby is a really good runner. Like first of all, if it's even remotely close, give me the really good runner because what that, what I can do with him. As I'm figuring this out. Just like Indiana did with Mendoza early. As I'm figuring this out, man, I can run him like I can. I can do the things that he's really, really good at. I don't think, I don't. I'm not disagreeing that Messamaker is a good quarterback. I think I need more. I think I need more running ability.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
Source B. The other interesting thing about him is that there's a lot of talk with him when the pros. Yeah. Are you. If you're.
Host - College Football Analyst
Somebody's got to leave your grade, right.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
In a weak QB draft.
Host - College Football Analyst
Yeah.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
Like do you say all right, it's better for me to go maybe be a second round pick at worst because the physical tools are going to get him drafted pretty high versus take whatever the portal money is. Like that's going to be very intriguing to see how he, how that plays out for him.
Host - College Football Analyst
But all three QBs who were finalists for the Heisman Trophy all had that in common. Their transfers.

All right everyone, let's talk about drinking and driving. A decision that will change your whole world. Things will never be the same once you get a DUI because legal fees, time in court are just the beginning. Getting into a crash is another way your world could be irreversibly changed. After drinking and driving your vehicle may not be the only thing that gets damaged in that crash, you could face a life altering injury or even death. But you're not the only one who could face those consequences. Your decision to drink and drive could permanently change someone else's world. Whether you injure them or leave their loved ones grieving. The next time you're out drinking, call a ride, share a taxi, a sober friend, or a designated sober driver. Always plan for a safe ride home. The only decision that will change your world for the better is the decision to call for a sober ride. It's never worth it to drive drunk. Don't risk it. Drive sober or get pulled over. Paid for by NHTSA Nationwide is so.

So like, it's just finding the right spot, man. It's not, it's not necessarily the person who recruits you the hardest, who you have the best relationships. A lot of times, man, you got to figure out that fit that works for you and, and those guys figured it out and that's why they were there. And speaking of Heisman, your Heisman is set. Your. Your Heisman is set. And how about it, man? Like Mendoza just continues. You saw if you didn't, if you missed it, he had his Adidas shopping spree. You know, just. The dude continues to, to be everything you want. He just, he's, he's such a good representative. Representative of the University of Indiana, of college football. You can tell, man, he's just a good dude and his whole family was there in New York and him winning. I mean, just think about like all the firsts that continue to add up For. For Indiana football. And he's going to be the number one pick, too, in the draft, which is. Which is going to be another one. Like, Mendoza's just proven himself, and he's really, he's really been. He's been good all throughout the season, but I think in the postseason when everybody started to really pay attention, they're starting to see even more what kind of kid this is. But, like, the shopping spree that he added Adidas for Ms. Awareness, which his mom has. I don't know if you've seen the videos with his mom in a wheelchair, but they gave $10,000 to families who took him on a shopping spree through the Adidas headquarters, which is so cool, man. Like, and the other side of that is Diego Pavia. And listen, I am not. I, I hesitate to even say I, I'm never going to be the dude that ever, like, takes shots at kids, but Pavia's 24. Like, he's not a kid anymore, you know, like, he's a. He's a grown man. I'll just say this, like, watching the, the. The reaction to Diego Pavia and the language and the way he responded, it's. It's not my favorite. It's not. He didn't represent himself well. Listen, and here's the thing about Diego Pavi. I love that he apologized, too. Like, he apologized with a statement and said, like, I, I, I. And I get it, man, because. Because I'm, I, I'm very similar in the, in the aspect. Like, I had delusional confidence. I was a cocky butthole. Like, and that's why I was really, really good. Like, people that have next level confidence, a lot of times you've seen it with Michael Jordan, right? Like, the documentary, man, it's next level, like, psychosis, psychotic. Like, the way you approach it. And everything's an insult, right? Like, everything you do wrong is an insult. Or every time somebody doesn't vote you to win an award as the best player, it's an insult. It's a slight. And so I think he took it. He took it personally. But I love that he put out a statement, he apologized, he said that about it. But, like, it was the only thing that was really interesting when it comes to the Heisman. But I wasn't a fan of what he said. I wasn't a fan of the words he used or how he did any of it, really. But the dude had an unbelievable year. Unbelievable year. And nil. And Diego Pavia. That is why it exists, man. That is exactly why it exists. Diego Pavia is 5, 9 in heels. Like, the dude's not tall. He's. He's not going to play at the next level. He's definitely. And listen, this is fuel for his fire, right? Because he's going to. He's going to absolutely, you know, hate hearing this. And he's going to have a list of everybody. When you get to that league and everybody can catch you, and everybody are mutants, you find less and less people that. That. That star outside the means. And when. I mean that, you better have a superpower. Like, you better be able to do something super extraordinary. And I know he can scramble, but, like, scrambling away from Miles Garrett is a little bit different than other people, than other humans. Like, so that was really the only intrigue with the Heisman. I think everybody knew Mendoza was going to win it. Jeremiah Love being there. Marcus Freeman being there was cool. Like, Jeremiah Love's career coming to an end is, man, that. That, you know, Marcus Freeman, I loved it. He was pushing him, trying to, like, get him to come back. Get him to come back. And God bless you. You should. You should get him to come back and. And try to. But Julian saying probably not going to be the last time you see him at the Heisman Trophy ceremony. I mean, he's. Chris Henry Jr. Is going to come into Ohio State, which is just the next freak. I played with his dad with the Bengals, Brent, West Virginia, which is. Which is impressive. He'll love him. We'll talk about him, probably. But I think the. To wrap it up and to wrap up the Heisman conversation, like, all you needed to see to understand how awesome, you know, Fernando Mendoza is and what kind of duty is. Like, you didn't need to see the shopping spree. You didn't need to hear him talk, which are awesome things and big checks and big pluses. You just needed to see his team. When your team comes from Indiana and they go to New York because they love you that much and you're their guy, tells you everything you need to know. That tells you everything you need to know about the leader, the man, the face of your franchise. That's why Indiana is number one. That's why Indiana just got a Heisman Trophy, and that's why Indiana is probably going to have the number one pick in the draft, the Indiana Hoosiers. That's just crazy. That's just nuts. All right, Brent, we'll go right to our next topic.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
Hey, let me ask a question first.
Host - College Football Analyst
Oh, okay. My bad, my bad.
Public Service Announcement Narrator
You're.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
You're A Heisman voter. Was that your guy?
Host - College Football Analyst
Okay, so technically, now I see people share their votes every year. When you fill out your votes, it says you're not allowed to share your votes. I see people put it out all the time. So, like, hypothetically, if I was a Heisman voter, I would have put Fernando Mendoza number one.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
I was just checking.
Host - College Football Analyst
The next best guy that I saw in college football this season was Jeremiah Love. And the next best guy I saw in college football. You vote for three, I think. I think you vote for three.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
Yeah, I think that's right.
Host - College Football Analyst
I think it's three. Yeah. The next best guy that I saw might have been Diego Pavia. Like, I think it was Diego Pavia.
Airalo International Data Advertiser
Yeah.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
One funny thing, though, about. Or not funny, but amazing thing about the Heisman. The last eight finalists. So two, four finalists each of the last two years. So Love started. Had played his whole career and started Notre Dame saying. Actually started Alabama and then went to Ohio State. But outside of that, you have players who started their career at Jackson State, Boise State, UCF Incarnate Ward, Cal and New Mexico State. Those are the. Where the other six finalists the last two years has started playing college football. Now, granted, Travis Hunter was the number one recruit in the country.
Host - College Football Analyst
Yeah.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
And went to Jackson State. But still he started there. So.
Host - College Football Analyst
But no star Incarnate word. Cam Ward is pretty fantastic. Like, I love.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
Yeah.
Host - College Football Analyst
There's a.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
There's a decade. Gabriel.
Host - College Football Analyst
Yeah, there's a. There's a qu. There's a. I think there's a documentary coming out on him about no star. I. I saw Cam Ward's thing. Like it. He see. Dude, when he talks, I like listening to him. I love listening to him. To him talk. All right, you ready for. You ready to go on the next topic? I think this is going to be fun.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
Let's go.
Host - College Football Analyst
Okay. Just. Just obviously the transfer portal window. We're talking about guys. But. But how about the guys that are going to impact the playoff the most that are transfers? Okay. Mendoza and Indiana were taken off the board at one. He just went on the rest of his team, his whole squad. By the way, it's Mendoza. Three offensive linemen that started and four guys on defense. Besides that, everybody's a transfer, which is absolutely nuts. Every starter besides that is a transfer. That's. That's asinine. Crazy to think about. I'm going to. We're going. Mendoza number one. Obviously, that's the biggest, you know, know transfer portal ad you could have. And obviously winning a Heisman caps that off to Give a caveat and one just star that if I'm, I'm going to add one more player from Indiana to this that's not going to make the top ten list of our guys. D' Angelo Pons.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
Yes.
Host - College Football Analyst
That dude's a baller. Now the reason he, he was at jmu, the reason he actually played high school football with Jeremiah Smith, which is crazy. Um, but he's, he's only 5 9. He's only 170 pounds. But you watch a guy for. You watch Indiana and why they can do what they do. They're okay with him being on an island. They put him on an island with Jeremiah Smith, who, who he was given up 6 inches and 60 pounds to like amazing instincts, unbelievable job holding receivers to tiny catch catch rates. Just unbelievable job playing on an island, being great. He's another one that I'm going to add. I, I think he was the next one out of that. If you want to put Surratt there, no argument. But, but, but d' Angelo Pons deserves some respect. All right, so Mendoza is number one, number two on the tr. On the College Football Playoff teams most important guy. Who would you have next? We'll go through it. We'll go one through ten, me and you. And we can just kind of do like a draft.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
Are we non quarterbacking this or are we including QBs? Because QBs obviously trump everything there.
Host - College Football Analyst
It's, it's, it's players like, it's, it's college football transfer who are, who are the biggest impact guys that, that they got from the portal to be where they're at today.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
I mean, I'm, I'm going to be Homer local guy here and say Zachariah Branch at Georgia because.
Host - College Football Analyst
Wow, you went that number two. Okay.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
I mean, don't, don't backtrack.
Host - College Football Analyst
I like that he's been. He's their offense. It's all built around him.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
So humongous for what they do offensively. Their defense has grown all that. But his presence has allowed Gunner Stockton to grow as a passer and evolve throughout the whole year.
Host - College Football Analyst
I saw the dumbest take online, Brent that I've ever seen. Somebody said, and if it was you, I apologize. Not you. But no, but I'm saying somebody said there's no difference between Gunner Stockton and Arian Smith. The numbers are identical.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
Branch, Branch, Branch. Aaron Smith.
Host - College Football Analyst
What did I say?
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
You said Gunner Stock, Br.
Host - College Football Analyst
Yeah, Branch and Smith. Arian Smith from last year. Like, come on, dude, tell me you don't watch football while you're Telling me you don't watch football. Like his numbers aren't through the roof. His impact is through the roof. His impact is incredible. Everything in this offense is easier because he's on the field, because of his speed, particularly in the screen game, the ability to just throw it on the perimeter, get it to that guy. Now opens it up for the tight ends, for receivers, for everybody else. But because receivers, they're not, they're not elite by any stretch. They've been banged up all season. Two guys rotating in and out. I like that. You went that too. I would have went. Julian saying from Alabama, I was trying.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
To go non qb.
Host - College Football Analyst
I like that. We'll go, we, we can, we can sprinkle that in the, the non qb. I like that. I, I think Julian saying the accuracy we've talked about on the show, Brent's talked about it from a PFF standpoint, he's, he's the best in the business and it's not close. And he looked a little more human against Indiana than we've ever seen. But you talk about getting it to his guys. You talking about calm, you talk about taking deep shots, making deep plays, getting the ball out, being smart. Julian saying, without Julian saying, being really good, you could maybe take away some of those Ohio State receivers because remember they got two first round picks. But because he, he's played at such an elite level and Claire work in the middle as well, it's really allowed Ohio State to not miss a beat. Like, not miss a beat and be really, really good on offense. Even though they won a championship with Will Howard last year.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
David Bailey and Romello Height, the combination.
Host - College Football Analyst
Of those two, you can't do that. You only get one then. I like that. I like that. Together, that's fine.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
That's a, that's a tandem that completely changed the Big 12 this season. It just did.
Host - College Football Analyst
And he's not lying. Like, you know, if you didn't watch David Bailey, I think he has, I think he had like, he has 70 plus pressures and I think it's like 10 more than anyone else in college football. Like literally it's 10 more than everyone else. So David Bailey got paid a good bit of money to go to Texas Tech. That's why he went there. And him and company have kicked ace and it's absolutely the reason why they're there. So, yeah, it's hard to, it's hard to argue with that. I can't believe that you have another player above Caleb Downs, though, as a defensive player. Bailey's been huge Downs, his Impact is crazy. His. His numbers don't. Aren't going to do what Bailey's does, but like, his, his smarts, with the iq, the versatility, he allows you to do a million different things and be very positionless. Him and Arvell Reese, man, like, they're just. Arvl Reese was at Ohio State. He was. He was there. But Caleb Downs, those two have been.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
In Ohio State for two years.
Host - College Football Analyst
Yeah, so.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
But they are transfers. Yes.
Host - College Football Analyst
Yeah, they're transfers. I mean, that's. That's the. That's the whole point how we're playing the game. You're a transfer. Like, I didn't say it. Transfer right now.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
Like Dante Moore. Like, if you said Dante Moore, he was at Oregon last year, just didn't play, and now he's there and now he's.
Host - College Football Analyst
I had Dante. No Dante Moore high on my list, but you chose to go off the rails and get all these defensive guys, which is outstanding and I love it. But I mean, Dante Moore, with Oregon and the injuries to wide receiver, and without him coming up big in the Iowa game, like, he's. He's pretty much proven, man, that dude is smooth. Dude's got accuracy, doesn't make mistakes, has shown the mobility, like, he's. He's done everything Oregon needs. I have him really high on the list. I had him higher than your guys that you, that you said. But, like, you know, it's. It's. It's a quarterback.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
I just, I was. When we think about talking about this, it's like, okay, QBs kind of just. They're in their own cat, their own category. Because, I mean, if you look like Trinidad Matier, like, see, and that's Trinidad.
Host - College Football Analyst
I had high on the list, too. You mentioned Dante Moore. I had Trinidad at 3. Because I think if Ole Miss had Simmons, I think Ole Miss is at home. And that's not a disrespect to Simmons. I thought Simmons had a really high ceiling. But Trinidad's ability to. To run, to make people miss, to be durable, to be tough, to take shots down the field, to throw it over the middle of the field the way he has, like.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
Yeah.
Host - College Football Analyst
And not be bad. Like, just, you know, 66% completion. The running game has been unbelievable. I mean, just almost 500 yards rushing. And just to think this offense wasn't built around him. Like, he was an afterthought in this offense. He was like, he was the backup who put his profile on Twitter and Billy and those guys, the GM at Ole Miss was like, oh, we need to Backup. Like we need a back his profile. Check his profile real quick. He's got, he won a D2 Natty at Ferris State. Okay, let's, let's take a chance. Like let's go, let's go get that dude and you know, we might see him somewhere else in the very near future again on this list as a transfer guy in the playoff maybe next year. LSU fans would be excited if that happened.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
Would they? I will say every, every portal quarterback possible location, possible place they go to lsu.
Host - College Football Analyst
Yeah, I saw that. Every single one that's on there. You can see, you can see lsu. If you, if you're going non quarterback, then keep it going because there's a guy that needs to be high on this list that, that I think we haven't mentioned yet.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
I mean Cassius, how was there. He came from Bowling Green. He was there last year at A and M. But his impact this year, even more so.
Host - College Football Analyst
He went through the roof this year. It was crazy about that is their defensive line was so much better a year ago. And you think like that dude with those guys and Stuart getting extra attention and all the like that you think he would like kill it. But that's, it's kind of crazy because this year he's been, he's not a one man band by any stretch. They got a good defensive line but that dude's been, you know, TFL and sack machine and making plays. So he's been, he's been huge for, for A and M. So in terms.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
Of impact, him obviously this year. But is. Is Craver and Concepcion bigger impact on that team? Because obviously we're going to talk about that game here a little bit.
Host - College Football Analyst
Yeah, I think.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
Because I would think so.
Host - College Football Analyst
I would agree and I, and I think I think one's more impactful than the other. Like I think Casey Conception's impact on the game is larger. Like Craver came out the gates hotter and he was like on. He was, he was on, he was on another planet. He was scorched earth. But I think Concepcion with the chunk plays like dude's averaging 16 yards of catch. Like that's stupid, bro. That's absolutely stupid. Because they throw him screens like they throw him little stuff like to average 16 a catch and then the punt return, like yeah, he's the best punt returner in the playoff field and it's not close. He's got two returns for touchdowns. Like he's like a running back. He, he was, he was my number one wide receiver in the portal last year. Coming out like I just. I loved watching him like he was. I told you. I remember I compared him to Percy Harvin coming into the season. Like he had that kind of juice to me. And I. And I love the feel and zone coverage and I just love the ball in his hands. He turns into a guy you don't want. You don't want any of that. Like he's. He's a weapon that moves inside, outside, just makes plays all over the field. I. I would listen. The duo together makes it legit. It makes it even harder to stop. But if you. If you ask me for one, I think Concepcion had a little more. A little more impact just because of the return game.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
I was looking at Oklahoma's roster just re looking at it as it relates to the game coming up this week. And obviously most of their impact guys portal wiser on offense with Mater Satania and a few others. But Kendall Daniels on defense for them from OK State, like 6, 5, 2, 3, whatever he is but a big son of a gun linebacker safety hybrid has played very well for them this season and makes their defense more so unique because it's kind of a nickel, but it's not because he's so big. So you know, he. That's one for me that's unique in terms of impact. I think C.J. daniels is another from. For Miami, at least from a touchdown perspective. Maybe not necessarily consistent production, but him and he was hurt a little bit later in the year. Obviously Carson Beck is there about to say Carson Beck.
Host - College Football Analyst
Maybe, like maybe he should be on the list. By the way, Akeem Mezador, right? Like, he's, he's another guy. Akeem Mezador has been like. He's been a wrecking ball. Like that dude's been so good man to have him in Bane. Like, who else do you want off the edge? What's the combo in the country you want more than them?
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
Like one I've already mentioned.
Host - College Football Analyst
Yeah, I mean those. But it's close.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
But it's really close.
Host - College Football Analyst
I mean it's absolutely debatable. Like it's. It's like you might go to Texas Tech, you might go with the, the speed and agility more from. From Mezador. And listen, I also think that, you know, not only do you have Mezador, not only do you have Carson Beck, Jacoby Thomas who came over to Miami secondary was also enormous. Like that was huge. Like he was huge in the back end. He came from Middle Tennessee State. But just that dude. That dude's been unbelievable. And getting some sacks and some interceptions and kind of doing it all for that Miami defense in the back. It brought the wood a bunch. Like you've seen him with some big hits like Jacoby Thomas has been great from a small school. We go coming from Middle Tennessee State.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
I think we could definitively say that if you don't hit in the portal, your chances of going to the College Football Playoff are much, much smaller. It just goes to show like all these teams, I mean there's only a.
Host - College Football Analyst
Few that we could do. We could do, we could do Oregon's three, we could do a bunch of their offensive line. Like we could do some of their defensive line at safety. Like the list goes on and on about guys we didn't mention ke1lacy from from Ole Miss, who was from Missouri, who was an absolute baller in a steal. So yeah, if you're not recruiting in that world, you're going to lose. Like you're, you're, you have. Listen, high school recruiting is still big time. Still big time. But you better supplement in the portal and you better find your stars in the portal. Like there better be guys who are proven who have been there, done that, bought the T shirt and hat and you're going to go buy them like and you're going to make sure that they're on your squad because you have to get elite players at the elite spots. Like right. Like a lot of these guys were mentioned are specific spots. Whether it's quarterback, whether it's playmaking receiver, whether it's pass rusher. Like those guys are. Those guys are the biggest parts on the field.

Host - College Football Analyst
All right.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
Well, you talk about Miami, right?
Public Service Announcement Narrator
Yeah.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
Let's look at some games. So Texas A and Miami. I got that one first even though the Alabama game is on Friday.
Host - College Football Analyst
Friday night.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
Yep, Friday night. So Texas A and Miami is on Saturday. I did happen to look at the weather since you know, you always tease me about that but I was curious. I think I saw it's supposed to be in the low 70s.
Host - College Football Analyst
Oh, Miami's okay with that.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
Yes. So not going to be any sort of issue there. And it'll be even like 60 degrees I think maybe 50s Friday night for the Oklahoma game. But this both of these games like health. That was the one thing just diving into outside of the matchups themselves. Who's going to play because it looks like Miami is as healthy as they've been all season based on stuff that you read. CJ Daniels good to go. QB Frederick good to go. Blade. David Blade, the defensive tackle, good to go big boy Keonte Scott could be available. I don't know if that one's going to be the case and then that.
Host - College Football Analyst
Doesn'T usually good things when you say could be available.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
Yeah, probably not but and then Elko was asked about of course Levy on Moss and like Scooby Williams and some others. He's like they're great. So whether, whether they play, whether whatever that means because Le'Veon Moss is a big deal for Texas A M. He's a forcer. We talked about Bane and Mezador last week against Kuhn and crying over for A M but got some other sort of questions thoughts as it relates to this game in the matchup. First off and this is more from your own experience throughout these years of the coaches who are now taking a new head coach position and the distraction you got Colin Klein who's now going is going to be a case state but still going to call plays obviously for the playoff run is it an issue in your. Or is it a very person specific thing?
Host - College Football Analyst
Listen, it's. It's definitely, it definitely can be person specific because some people are more adults than others. Like, that's just a fact. So there's a lot of people that can multitask really, really well. Like Brent, that's probably one of your strengths. Probably not. For me, it's not one of my strengths. I'm very much. I'm all in. Like, but it's hard to get all in in multiple avenues or multiple, multiple error areas. So that's where I'll say. Like, I think when you got Colin Klein, who's. Yes. He's. He's worried about a roster. He's worried about another team. Like, it's fair to say he's going to be distracted, man. Like, absolutely going to be distracted. So, yes, it is absolutely a part of the process. It's something you have to consider. Some do it better than others. And. But, but I think that if you don't think it matters, you're foolish. And that's where Oregon is double dipping. Like, that's even worse. Like, that's the.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
Yes.
Host - College Football Analyst
Like both OC and DC and gosh dang, like, I just, I wouldn't want that as a coach. I'd be much more comfortable if it was not the case.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
All right. A and M against Miami. I went back and watched a lot of Miami vs. SMU because SMU couldn't run at all. I didn't try. And sir, after. At a certain point, yes, they didn't try. Now Texas A and M against Texas and then against South Carolina. Now, game situation dictated the South Carolina thing more than anything. But it wasn't something they did a lot of and couldn't. Didn't have a lot of success. Non Marcel Reed running game. So does Moss play and can Texas A M get some Non Marcel Reed running game?
Host - College Football Analyst
Yeah. And how you do it is. Is going to be important. I don't think you want to run Marcel Reed a ton. Like, we've seen him go down and scare the piss out of people in the Texas game. You saw the lack of it with Texas. Moss does help. Like, that dude's a man. Like, he is. Remember his quotes in the preseason, like, go out of bounds.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
What?
Host - College Football Analyst
Like, what are you talking about? He was literally like, you're an idiot. Don't ask me if I'm going out of bounds. But I do think they can. I think they can get some running game going. I think their offensive line is really, really solid and it's I think it's going to be interesting too with Miami because if I had to pick a part from Miami that I'm worried about the most, it'd be the back end. Like it'd be the. It'd be matching up with Conception and Craver. Like and again that's tough for anybody. But it's also tough to block me or in Bane. So it has to. You have to be able to elude the first rush a lot of times and make stuff happen. But like Stymie Nerdly says in the quote, Elko in his defense. What about the coaching part of this? Who do you trust more? And we had Marcel Reid on, you know, the other day talking about Elko and he talked about going against Elko's third down defense and he's like it sucks. Like it's terrible. So like I'm with you in the chat. Like that defense can confuse and that defense can make life hard on you. I've seen A and M, you know, come up really, really big when you when they needed to against Notre Dame. I've seen Reed put those drives together. So I don't think that side decides the game as much to me if you want to give me a pass rusher and how. And Beck. Now we're talking like how is Beck going to do under pressure? How.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
It's one of the other questions I got.
Host - College Football Analyst
Yep.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
Because can Carson Beck not throw it to the other team?
Host - College Football Analyst
Obviously he had two against, four times against.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
But here's the other thing. I went back and looked over his last two years. So this past year at Miami and the year last year, Georgia and any big game, what you would say big game. There's only two that he didn't have a turnover worthy play or an interception either or a lot of times turnover. The plays should be interceptions or should should be something that ends up being a turnover. But it's not. There's only two games. The first one against Clemson last year for Georgia and the first one against Notre Dame this year. Every other big game, at least one or multiple turnover plays for him in all these sort of what you would say is a big game and third down defense for Day and M that we've talked about is one of the best. One of if not the best in the country statistically as well as just generally also offense for with the match up there. Malachi Tony. We've talked all kinds of time about Malachi Tony and how great he is as a freshman receiver for Miami. Guess who's allowed the highest completion Percentage and the most receptions and has the lowest coverage grade on Texas A and M's defense and gets picked on the most, almost, if not the most.
Host - College Football Analyst
The other corner, opposite Lee.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
It's the guy in the slot. Yeah, it's Chapel 7 in the slot. Who. That's where Malachi. Tony does a lot of his work. And that's one matchup where it's like, okay, if you're Miami, you win that matchup consistently, maybe you can put yourself in a position to win this game.
Host - College Football Analyst
Who would you rather have? Who would you rather have? And this is ultimate praise. Malachi, Tony, Casey, Conception, or Mario Craver?
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
I'm taking Tony right now.
Host - College Football Analyst
I think he's that good. I think he's that good, and he's that big of a weapon. Like, yeah, I think the. The run game with him at qb, like, the throw game with him at qb, the jet sweeps to him. The. The. The rolling him, the giving him the ball in a jet suite. He's the ultimate gadget guy. Like, and the only way Miami can win is, I think, if they keep the pressure off of Beck. Like, if they keep A and M guessing, if they can stay balanced, like, they're not going to throw the football every play. Like, when they get past happy, Miami is not a good version of themselves. When they get predictable, they're not a good version of themselves. Like, red zone, when they start to just bring everybody in tight and say, steak, I'm a meathead and I'm going to pound you. No, no, no, no. Put Malachi in there. Like, let Tony tote the rock. Let him throw the rock. Like, get things on the perimeter. Like, do some things that are creative. They've had some time to do it, man. So I think. I think this game's fascinating. I don't think it's easy to pick.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
Oh, both. Both of the. These two games, the Friday night and then this game, I coin flip for me. I make a pick, though.
Host - College Football Analyst
Yeah. So coin flip. But Texas A and M is at home, and that matters to me, so I'll take A and M. I had both these teams in the playoff before the season. I did not have them facing each other. Um, but I think the difference in this football game, to me, A and M gets to play at home, so they get to use the crowd to their advantage. And Marcel Reed's ability to run the football, extend plays, scramble and throw. Not just. Not just scramble. Like, his ability to dodge Mezador, dodge Bane, make a play down the field, is the difference in the game. I Got the Aggies.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
That was what Kevin Jennings and you think about sort of similar body types. Jennings and Reed are very similar in terms of body types though Jennings plays a lot more I guess flexible maybe is a way of saying that he's just very quick, twitchy.
Host - College Football Analyst
Jennings tiny like Marcel. Reed's taller and even more built than him. I bet you Jennings is 160 like now that playing touch football with him ain't fun. I can tell you that much trying to get your hands on him. Who you got? Ninja.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
I picked Miami.
Host - College Football Analyst
Attaboy. I like it. Haynes.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
Well, kicking game was one. I thought their advantage there A and M had some struggles over 40 yards in the kicking game. Maybe it comes down to that and.
Host - College Football Analyst
I. I'll go matchup.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
I. I don't Everything tells me to pick the home team but something just feels like it's going to be weird this weekend and I'm going with the underdog in this game. I'm going with the canes. I put 23, 20 as the score. Other rematch Alabama, Oklahoma. Another health concern. Does R Mason Thomas play? Does their center Jake? I I don't know. I'll butcher his last name.
Host - College Football Analyst
Say Jake.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
Jake. Yeah does he play? I did see I don't think LT Overton is going to play. Miller and Cuevas jam Miller running back Cuevas at tight end. Are it kind of based on Reading? It's kind of like they'll play but they'll be kind of gutting it out to play.
Host - College Football Analyst
Yeah.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
Type deal if they do play. Did you rewatch. Have you rewatched the game of Oklahoma and Alabama?
Host - College Football Analyst
Yeah, I didn't. I remember the whole game like it was yesterday. Like I remember that whole game like that was a. I mean that was just a. It was a crazy game. It was an absolutely nuts game. I mean to think about how much Alabama outgained them and I mean like Ty Simpson struggled like crazy and. And throwing the pick and you know, the pick six to start the game and the punt return fumble. Like all this game was madness. It was weirdness.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
And the one part that I forgot was that out when Alabama went up 21, 20, it was seven minutes to go in the third quarter. They didn't score again like that. That's the part that I, you know some of the part of it, of that game you're like oh, it's back and forth and then they kick the field goal late but. Or kick the field goal but yeah, they didn't. Didn't get there. So how much. How much self evaluation and sort of potential, even reinventing can Arbuckle do with their offense with Oklahoma? Because obviously it was a struggle the last month.
Host - College Football Analyst
Listen, I'd love to give you some tweaks and to give you some things like that Arbuckle can do. And listen, he's got to be creative. And the screen game has to be a must. Must the QB run game. I don't worry about material. Material. Material is built like an adult. Like, that dude's got a lower half. Like, he's. Now I don't. He cuts too much for me, for my liking. I'd like for him to get downhill and fall forward and do a little bit more of that. Listen, if we're being honest, Oklahoma doesn't block well up front. I mean, you could skin a cat any way you want to. Like, they don't move people out of the way. Like, there's a lot of confusion up front then. Listen, I'm not letting Alabama off the hook either. They don't move people out of the way. Like, they're a bunch of road graders that are eating up space. Like both of these offenses, I don't know which offense I trust. Like, I don't know which QB trust to start the season. Like, you saw material and you're like, woof.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
Whoa.
Host - College Football Analyst
Like rocket ship. Ty Simpson rocket ship. Like that rocket done lost the little hub that comes off, right? Like, it's been shaky. It's been shaky leaving the universe, right? Like, they've both come significantly down to earth. Here's one thing that I think is really good for Alabama again. They got the hatred, they got the doubt. They got everybody telling them how bad they are. And I think that's a better version of Alabama. Like, to get some of that. We saw it after, after, after game one, right? Like, immediately they go on a tear. Well, now Alabama doesn't deserve to be in the playoffs. They suck. Like their coaches wanting to leave right now. He wants to pack his bags and go to Michigan. And by the way, it's a realistic thing. If they lose in the first round, everybody will be pissed at Alabama. Like, it's not acceptable. So it's a tough job, man. Not an easy job when. Especially when there's a shadow down the hall, like when. When Saban's desk is down the hall. So this game is. Is absolutely huge. I mean, but like that. Oklahoma's defense, I would say, has been the more dependable defense, the more aggressive defense, the more playmaking defense in this matchup. But obviously, and they're playing at home Which I think is a big advantage.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
Who gets the bulk of the running back carries, I think is interesting for me with Oklahoma because Robinson was kind of trending in that way and rolling a little bit. And then he only got six carries and he had like nine, maybe 10 yards against LSU. Blaylock only had four carries against Bama for like a yard. So it's been kind of a up and down with the running backs. Who gets the majority of the carries there. Yeah, we talked about the last week. We talked about the blitz and how two thirds of plays that they blitzed high. Simpson re watching a lot of that. It wasn't. It wasn't like that was what overwhelmed them. Like Alabama had success. It was more about plays that Oklahoma made. Red zone type things, all these other sort of ancillary things versus the blitz overwhelming Alabama. And I wonder if they're going to use some of the things that Georgia did in the SEC championship game. Georgia did a lot of unique things that they haven't done a lot of this year with, you know, running some inverted coverage.
Host - College Football Analyst
Like defensively.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
Defensively, yeah, like. But Venables I think will be there. So this is the one. I went with the home team. I went. I picked dogs in both of these games because actually Oklahoma is the underdog in the game. I went boomer sooner, 23, 20, the same exact score that I picked when they beat him the first time. So that's where I went. Well, so many questions.
Host - College Football Analyst
I don't. I don't want to pick this game by any stretch of the imagination. And if I, if I'm being honest, I have no clue. So I'm not. It's not like I'm going to go out on a limb and really brace. But I said I wasn't picking against Alabama the rest of the season. I picked Oklahoma to beat him. Last time they outgained them by 200 yards. They lost the turnover battle three to nothing. Like, I think that turnover battle swings in pendulums, right? Like it goes up and down. I got roll Tide. I think Bama. I think Bama gets. Gets a win in the playoff kind of gives. Gives everybody a little. You know, let's just not forget guys. Yeah, a little. Little like kick rocks, pound sand. You know, I'm saying Wesley, for all those people, Wesley, that. That left him for dead after week one. Said these guys don't deserve to be anything. You know what I'm saying? Don't you ignore me. Wesley, I'm talking to you. Better jump your butt in here right now.

So we're opposite those both picks.
Host - College Football Analyst
Blankenship. Yes, exactly. That's how it should be. That's how a playoff game should be. And notice we're not picking the JMU and other games because it's JMU and Tulane.
Guest or Additional Analyst
But y' all didn't mention any of JMU transfer players and the top transfers.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
Well, what's up with that?
Host - College Football Analyst
No, no, no, no. Actually. Actually, before we kind of changed what it was, I actually. I think that's a. I think that's a great one. Xavier Holmes from Maine actually was the guy is their guy. That's their sack guy. Like, he's got six sacks and some TFLs. Like, he's definitely been there guy. But Rhett's life, like, it's from byu. They got that gift right before the season started. So two huge impact guys. You know, one from Maine get swole up. Maine. And then one from, obviously, byu.
Guest or Additional Analyst
All right, who's in the victory formation, fellas?
Host - College Football Analyst
I mean, victory formation for me, th. This was easy, man. This was a really, really fun one. Jacob Rodriguez. Hey, Rodriguez picks or he wins the Lombardi. Sweet. He wins the Nagursky. Okay. Basically, you know, Joey McGuire is going to have to take that trophy section and just clear out one whole side and go, okay, this is the Rodriguez section. So Jacob Rodriguez winning national award after national award after national award for the best defensive player in the country. Good for him, man. Good for Texas Tech. They. They. And he's the. He's been there, by the way. That dude walked on there. That dude was a quarterback at Virginia and Bronco. Mendenhall quit, and he's like, okay, where do I go? Went and slept on the floor and a mattress at A and M. Or Texas Tech. Excuse me. Walked on and then becomes the best defensive player in the country and wins almost every national award. Tip of the cap, sir. Jacob Rodriguez.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
I would have put him in my top three, okay. For the Heisman. Mine was a little off the wall just because obviously we didn't have a ton of games and it was more awards and all that sort of thing for this weekend. So I just went with the. With the Twitter account at JMU sports news talks and tweets about JMU sports fans. To me, they won the weekend. So playoff appearances in 25, 26. JMU won, Kansas City Chiefs 0. The one where they said Oregon might be the slowest team we've ever seen. And it's a highlight film of Oregon in, like, slow mo. And then Oregon will not have an answer for this period. It's a highlight that they did at practice where a big guy caught a touchdown fall on his back. Just phenomenal run. Great run from the @JMU Sports News Twitter account.

It might be one of the best followers you can follow. You're right. It's been absolutely fantastic. Wesley, who you got, brother?

What's up?

I had Navy quarterback Blake Horvath. He had a quote that was pretty awesome. He said it's kind of insulting to hear other teams throw around the term, say they're a brotherhood and meanwhile they're bringing in 20, 30 guys in the portal. Guys are leaving, guys are getting paid more than other dudes. This team is truly a brotherhood. Navy getting the one point win over Army. I mean anytime you watch Army Navy, obviously the scene is phenomenal. But you know the final score is going to be something like that. 17, 16, 16, 13, something like that. So awesome weekend. Good to still have some football on the tube this Saturday.
Host - College Football Analyst
No doubt. It was. It was good. It was always good. And Horvath was bloody with his hand. Was bloody and he was. But he ran a couple. That fumble he had late on third down when the ball pops up and he catches it and gets it back. We see in the chat Stymie. Yeah. Philip Rivers. What a weekend. He almost led a two minute drill to win it at at 455 years old. I saw it was like 18,000 days since he played his. His last game. And playing against Sam Donald who played the week before seven days ago like.

So could you, given that information, could you go get a sack or pressure in an NFL game right now? Do you think you could third and long, third down, get some third down opportunities?
Host - College Football Analyst
If you just let me rush the passer in third and long, I think I could get. I think I could get a pressure. Yeah, I think I could make something.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
I think you could get a pressure slash QB hit.
Host - College Football Analyst
I do.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
I agree with that.
Host - College Football Analyst
I think I could do it. Yeah.
Co-host - College Football Analyst Brent Rollins
Maybe the. Well, the Bengals are like 4 and 10, so eliminated.
Host - College Football Analyst
Yeah. You could play for them. Joe Burr doesn't want to anymore. It doesn't seem like. But it's a side note for another day. All right, we'll be back Wednesday. Wes told me not to drop names of guys that we might not have because if we get stood up, but we will have Kirby Smart. How about that? I'm saying it regardless. We're going to get Kirby Smart on the show, which would be. Which would be fantastic. Just thinking thoughts on Georgia make it a postseason. There is no better coach in the game. Like everybody who, who would say who they want first would say Kirby Smart. I mean, he's just, he's one of one very unique, very different, but plenty of other games to talk about. It's, it's, it's going to be a fun weekend. Home playoff games is a win for all of us. I wouldn't, I wouldn't mind seeing home playoff games continue into the postseason. But. But we appreciate y' all guys joining us here on C. Ball. Get Ball. The playoffs of this week. We will see you back here Wednesday Night Live and then maybe throughout the week again with another guest, maybe that guy in Athens. He's pretty good. He wears a visor. It's pretty solid. See, dudes.
