Joining us on our first episode of Shaping Nations is The Honourable Andrew Constance, Minister for Transport and Roads NSW. In this episode, the Minister reflects on the summer bushfires of 2019 - 2020 and the importance of shifting mindsets when it comes to building sustainable infrastructure. The Minister has served as the Member for Bega in the New South Wales Parliament since 2003.He was sworn in as Minister for Transport and Infrastructure in the Baird Government in 2015. In March 2019, Premier Gladys Berejiklian expanded his portfolio to include Transport and Roads. Minister Constance is overseeing a record $55.6 billion spend on public transport and roads over the next four years, on top of the $58.3 billion the NSW Liberals & Nationals has already spent on public transport since winning Government in 2011.
