We have made it to the final season of GIRLS and what can we say...we've been changed For Good, because yes, we spend most of this episode discussing the inner workings of the Wicked sequel. We get into the sex cardigan, the new songs, the performances, and we simply ponder...what is OZ? And then, we try and discuss a fairly strange season premiere - Hannah meets a dreamboat, Ray and Shosh are delights, and Adam and Jessa are freaks. We hope you enjoy this mash-up!

It's a Thanksgiving week miracle - as I realized we never uploaded the season five 5 finale, so you're getting two episodes this week! Please note the political discourse for this episode is rather old! And wow, what an episode. But before we delve into that - I woke up on the wrong side of the bed and for some reason my ire is directed towards Jack Schlossberg. And then we get into it all - Shosh's girl boss era, Desi's stan army, the sweet appeal of Ray, the disarray of Adam and Jessa, and the evolution of Miss Horvath.

And Just Like That...We're Back! Sam is fresh off her birthday trip to New York and Chris is, once again, recovered from healing. We discuss the power of marathons, All's Fair, and touch down with Naomi and Heath. And then we get into it all: our relatable king Elijah, the beauty of Ray and Shosh, Marnie's dreams, and the real love story...Hannah and Tally. It's so good to be back and let's just say...we're on fire.

It's (not) so hard to say goodbye to yesterday (Fran & Hannah), we have finally reached the end of their relationship and also our patience for Miss Horvath. But before that, we discuss our two favorite shows respectively: Special Forces and The Morning Show (it's called taste, we have it). And then we discuss it all - Shosh's return to Brooklyn, the allure of Old Man Ray, baby Sample, and Hector. Take a listen!

Arguably, this is an incredibly important episode of GIRLS, but do we agree? We try and take it all on - Hannah's boundary pushing, Marnie and Desi's checking-in at Seattle Grace, the emotional triad that is Jessa-Hannah-Adam, and what we would (and wouldn't) do for Dill Harcourt. And through it all, we ponder: is Fran a good dude? Take a listen! To support Shortcomings, visit us online at patreon.com/shortcomingspodcast

Oh, we are SO back and it's for a great episode of Girls...and hopefully, Shortcomings! But before that, we get into a little discourse about how to handle the moment we find ourselves in and a bit about the power of the Potomac reunion. And then we get into it: Shosh continues to be a model of mid-20s living, Indie Rock discourse, Ray's political awakening, Hannah's journey, and the Mimi-Rose of it all. Take a listen!

We've reached the middle of Season 4 and wow what an episode, but before that we discuss our feelings about the upcoming Summer House (this was recorded before the s9 premiere), one of us is confused by Chickenfry, and we begin to ponder what's to become of Shortcomings when we finish Girls. And then we get into it: Hannah's back and taking up space, Marnie is MIA and then very impactful, Shosh has a fuck ass bob, and Jessa is Jessa. Take a listen, we love you deep!

Oh, we woke up on the wrong side of the bed! The discourse has become toxic and we have to get these Beyoncé-haters and Craig apologists in their place. And then we take on a pretty important episode in Girls transition. Hannah is struggling in Iowa, Marnie and Desi are compartmentalizing, and Shosh is the only adult on this damn show. Take a listen!

We're still in Iowa and not sure how to feel about it, but before we get into we discuss Sam's journey back into Dance Moms and Chris' most recent unhinged dream. Then we get into it all: Adam and Jessa's newfound friendship, Marnie's delusions, Ray as king, and Shosh's interview skills. Take a listen!

Well, it's a fitting episode title as trigger warning: we're going through it as we attempt to record on the day You Know Who is sworn in, but anyway...we discuss Iowa rents, Scandal crossovers, Hannah on a bike, and so much more. Remember us better than this episode plz!
