Hi, this is Hedley, and thank you for listening to the 16th episode of Sick to Death, the podcast series based on my book of the same name. I've been working on two new episodes and they will be the finale in this audio production. The two upcoming episodes include fresh interviews and careful analysis, including by my lawyer colleague Corinna Berger, as we go back and look at how the criminal justice System dealt with Dr. Patel, how it grappled with the extremely rare occurrence of the prosecution of a surgeon for alleged criminal negligence. My book does not include these extraordinary chapters, as it was published in early 2007, before Dr. Patel's extradition from the United States to Australia. The next two episodes, however, will document remarkable highs and lows in this continuing saga as it wound its way through the courts. These episodes will be available to subscribers along with the three earlier bonus episodes in this series. Thank you.
