Hey, what's going on guys? It's your host, Mike Garvey with the side Hustle Squad podcast coming at you from the Branded Bull Studio here on another beginning of the week, cruising right along, finishing up our weed controls, starting app 2 of fertilization and weed control in the lawns and we already completed mosquito and tick application one. So we're cruising right along here and I got out on Friday to do some weed controls over in our Jersey Shore area. I would say all stone properties, a lot of pavers, all that good stuff. So we do a lot of weed control patrol over there and got me thinking. It's good to be out once again. I love it. I talked about that in the other episodes, but just, you know, just being around in my truck and it got me thinking. I had an interaction, I was at a house and a guy just pulled up, stopped, got out, hit up the QR code. He's like, hey, I need weed control. Brought him right to the link of, you know, our job or request page and he filled it out right there and submitted it and it was like, you just, you know, it got me thinking just, you know, really, your, your truck along with other marketing tools. But it, it is just a great thing for branding and there's so much that that comes with it and you, you really, you just never know who's watching. Wanted to talk about how somebody noticed that and just why. Talk about why branding isn't just about logos and that's it or you know, just slapping something on your, on your truck. But it's really about visibility, trust, creating opportunities even when you're not trying. It's, you know, people drive by and see what's going on there. Oh, you know what, I do need that. We didn't get that last year and let you know if you're in an unmarked truck or not really into branding. We should talk about some things about why? Maybe you should consider it. And it's. It is an underrated marketing tool. It builds brands, it builds trust. It shows that you care about your equipment. I talked about how this happened to me and you know, it really has me thinking about how my truck is my billboard. It is in the neighborhoods all day, day. And you may have one truck, you may have 10 trucks, but it's just constant. It's just constant. People are behind you at a traffic light. People see you doing the service in the neighborhood. Oh, there he is again. Oh, there he is. And it may not be this year, it may not be this season, but it may be three seasons from now. Because they'll say, oh man, that guy's got really. You know, I always see him in the neighborhood. It's just hyper targeted to your exact customers that are in the neighborhood that you want. You can do all the other marketing, but if you have five trucks driving through all the neighborhoods that you already work in, I mean, let's. That makes a lot of sense. You're getting in front of people all the time. A clean wrapped truck is a legitimate company. An unmarked truck equals who is this guy? People buy what feels safe. I think even we had some of the most beater. Our first box truck was $1,000. And you know, it took a lot that we bought it for and it took a lot to get it up to speed. And we wrapped it and I'm. And we just wrapped the box and then we ended up wrapping the cab with the box just because it just. It brings a clean, clean, legitimate look to your company. And I got thinking about putting the QR codes on the trucks and it was really cool. You know, I know some people to actually see it right in front of my own eyes. It made it super easy for him to act in the moment. He's not written. People aren't writing phone numbers down anymore. People are going to websites. So have your website have a QR code. It's just a little bit of space extra. It goes on every single thing that we have. The QR code goes on the sheet that we leave at the door for people that want to sign up for other services and market to those brand to those customers that we already have. It goes on our lawn signs, it goes on our trucks. It's just people are used to it, especially after Covid with using that for, you know, people got more familiar with it I think during them. But you know, I think you have to look at the return on investment of your wraps. Yes, it might be 2500-3500-5545-5500. But you're getting a thousand impressions a day. And one job could pay for your wrap. And it's a one time cost. It's protecting your vehicle. If you think about that, you know that they're expensive. Wait till you see how much business you're actually losing on having just an unmarked vehicle. Having the branding, it creates consistency, okay? Using the same colors and the logo and the messaging on the uniforms, trucks, door hangers, sheets that you leave behind, business cards, yard signs. They're going to see you at least 5 to 10 times to 15 times maybe sometimes before they call. So don't miss out on the opportunity. Okay? You need signage, you need QR codes, you need a website. You all see the guys just running in, just regular plane trucks, but no one knows who they are. And what are the chances that you're gonna stop and hire them? I don't really know. So let's take a quick break. We'll come right back. Finish up on this topic. It's gonna be a short and sweet one, but I want you to think about it. Branding and vehicle wraps. We'll come right back.

All right, we're talking about vehicle wraps and branding. I got to see it firsthand, how it works, how it pulls a customer to come up to the truck to scan my QR code to get an estimate so it really, you know, don't miss out on the opportunity. Do it one time. Don't say oh you know what, I'll throw on some vehicle magnets and maybe I'll get to that whenever. Dedicate a budget to that. Wrap your truck. Get a QR code. Keep your trucks clean again, park them strategically. I've had people come up to me in Home Depot parking lot when I'm just driving it around and asked me about it and asked me about my services. So it's not always about just spending spending about marketing campaigns. Sometimes it's just maximizing what you already own. And if your truck isn't generating the leads that it should, I think it's just costing you money instead of making you money. Use it as a tool. One time investment of a vehicle wrap, I think it's will go a long, long way. So consider it. Take a look at it. Now's a good time to check in on all your marketing stuff and all your I know we're busy, but we're in the spring rush and people are still estimates are still coming through. We're not even into May yet and we still have a whole nother month of getting new customers and getting people squared away. It's still pretty cool here some days tomorrow morning I think 40 so people are kind of thinking about it, kind of not. But once this weather breaks for good, I think we're really going to be capitalizing on all the efforts that we're using. So encourage you to take a look at your marketing. Make sure your Google business profile is up to date, make sure that your website is working, all the call to actions are up and running, your request page your link and let's get after it.
