Hey, guys. Welcome back to another episode. This time, it is just me, and I'm here to update all of you on some of the amazing changes that are coming up for the podcast. I know that a lot of you are. Have been around since the very beginning, and for that, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. It has been such an incredible journey so far hosting this podcast because I've learned so much, and I know all of us are kind of on this path together where we're always learning together. That's how I feel at least when I record an episode, is that you guys are sharing a moment with me. And we're understanding our skin better, we're understanding beauty better, and the conversations in the beauty industry. We're getting a better grasp of it together. And so with that same enthusiasm and that same kind of motivation, we've decided that we want to branch out and we want to talk about things that might not conventionally be discussed when it comes to the beauty industry or the beauty conversation. Um, I think a lot of times it's hard because people think that, you know, if you expand a podcast, you're losing your focus, but that I just want to reassure you guys that it will not be the case with us. We are still very centered on skin health. That is our primary focus and always will be. But now, I think more than ever, it's a. It's a time where things are changing and people are watching. We're all watching the world around us transform. There have been a lot of things that have happened, you know, just in the last year that have led to conversations around things like mental health. They've really prompted the need for discussions about menopause, perimenopause, skin changes. To expect, as you're going through the different decades of your life, what that means for you, you know, on an internal basis and an external basis. I think these are all worthwhile conversations. And. And if any of you caught some of the episodes in the later half of last year, I hope that you appreciated that we were able to bring these forward. And I want to do that more, you know, for us all, because I think that's really how you truly start to understand, you know, what. What do you think about when you think of beauty? And so, you know, for me, personally speaking, I think that journey is very meaningful, and it's a very multilayered journey, and that's exactly what I hope we can bring forward, you know, with our future endeavors and our future. Go. Skincare anarchy. Also very important announcement. We're going to be changing our name. So it's not going to be a huge change. Don't worry. We're not going from, like, skincare anarchy to something completely, completely different. But we are changing it from skin care to just skin. And the reason for that is what I just said. You know, I think that these discussions and these conversations that we have on this show are so meaningful in so many ways. Obviously, the science and technology and innovations that we discuss are at the forefront. They're the real meat and potatoes of what you can expect from us. But when it comes to other topics that contribute to the development of these. These things, these technologies and innovations and what you see in the beauty industry, I think those conversations have to play in, you know, and they have to come in to the limelight. For a lot of consumers right now, we live in a time where everything is so freaking expensive. I mean, when's the last time you guys went out to buy a serum and it was like a minimum of like, a hundred bucks or like, you know, a face cream, a minimum of $100? I mean, it's insane right now. And it's not just the beauty industry. It's everywhere. So I think the more that we, as consumers are purchasing things, we need to understand what is leading up to that, you know, and that's a very multifaceted conversation. It's a very deeper approach to, you know, unwrapping all of that. So I think with that, I just want to say I hope you guys enjoy some of the guests that we have coming up. We're definitely broadening our scope. We're definitely broadening the conversation, and I can't wait to bring that to you. Also, in addition to the name change, we will be focusing very heavily on our Safe Seal this year. Last year, we were able to introduce you guys to the Safe Seal for Teens. That was a project that was in the works for a long time, pretty much since the beginning of the podcast, where we realized that, you know what? We need to develop something that's going to make consumers feel comfortable in what they're buying. And what if the science actually adds up? And that's how the Safe Seal was born. And you guys have really been such supporters of this, and I can't thank you enough. I genuinely cannot thank you enough for that, because it's so important to me as a scientist that I'm able to actually put some action to all of the insights and all of the learning that happens through just hosting brands and understanding what they're doing and why they're doing it. And that's where the Safe seals real, the heart of it is in that, you know. And so from that, you know, we were able to launch the seal, we were able to get brands on board. We've already been, you know, working with brands behind the scenes to make sure that we're introducing this new level of validation for you guys that when you're buying products, you feel completely sure in your purchase, you know, that the science is there, you know, the facts are there. You know, there's no BS behind this. That's very important to me to be able to bring that forward for you guys in any way that we can. So I just want to say that initiative is going to be expanding much more this year. A lot of the content that you guys are going to see is going to be focused on an educational aspect. And that educational aspect is to really reflect what we're doing with the Safe Seal. So please expect more of that. If you guys have any questions and if there's any scientific questions that you have about products or any technologies, I would love to hear from you and I'd love to be able to provide any resources we can to help clarify that. So definitely chime in. You know, the Safe Seal was never meant to be this like one and done thing. It's an evolving entity, it's an evolving project, you know, and it's really from the heart, it's from the mind and logic when it comes to approaching OTC products. As many of you know, we are right now living in a time where OTC is blending with healthcare and there's the line between the two is starting to blur a little bit in a good way. And with that, I think it's now it's a great time for us to become more sure of our decisions, you know, when it comes to our skin health, when it comes to understanding who are the brands and what are the products that really stand behind this evolving nature of this area. And I think with, you know, when we understand that, we're able to then get a grasp on like what, why we are spending our money, where we're spending it, you know, and so all of this, for me personally, it just all ties in together and I can't wait to bring that forward more for you guys in the coming year. I know that a lot of people have asked like ecta, like, tell us more about the safe seal, like what do you guys actually evaluate? And all of that is going to be, I think, more clear during the course of this year. And the coming years for you guys, like what exactly this represents. So please stay tuned for that. The next thing that that's going to be really up and coming this year is our magazine. So I know you guys had a chance to check out some of the work we've done or we've started to do. The last three volumes of Yujin have been so meaningful for us because we were able to bring you, like in a beautiful way, the episodes that we have on our podcast and highlight them for you. So, you know, going forward, Yujin is actually going to be a brand new platform. It's going to be a place for you to learn a lot more about beauty, but much more than beauty. Wellness, travel, travel, food. So many categories that we don't get to talk about on the podcast are going to be introduced through this outlet. So definitely check that out if you haven't already. Go download the volumes if you didn't get a chance. Last year's volume, Volume three had the wonderful Tia Mori on the COVID We got so much great feedback from all of you about that volume. So thank you so much for, for chiming in if you did, you know, and I can't wait for this year's volume. It's going to be completely new in the sense of the content is going to be different. It's going to be very much expanded based on what was available in the past three volumes. So definitely keep your eyes open for that. But more importantly, check us out on Instagram. That is really where you're going to find most of the new information that we're presenting through this outlet. So you can find us at SA Eugenyugen. That is our tag on Instagram. So I really want you to check that out. Follow our posts, definitely stay tuned to any updates through our emails and our newsletters. It's something that we're really working on very, very rigorously and we're working very to make sure that what we're putting out there is something that you guys will love just as much as you have shown to love the podcast content. So I'm very excited for that. I hope you guys will love everything that we share with you. But you know, on just a overall note, I just want to say thank you. You know, this is such a fun journey to be on with all of you and I think that what's coming up is going to really shock you in the best way. Before I go, I do want to say, finally, we are coming out with a website. I know this has been a long time in the making A lot of people have asked us, like, where the heck is your website? And we're finally able to say that we will have one this year. It's going to be a hub for all of our content. You can find everything there. You're going to be able to find, obviously the podcast episodes, but our blog, our information about the safe seal of our. Anything that literally we talk about is going to be in one place. And I cannot wait for you to check that out and for you to see it for yourselves. We've been working on it for a very, very long time. And, you know, the real true driver for us is that we want to be the skin authority, you know, in your lives. We want you to come to us and understand that what you see in our content is the absolute leading edge discussions when it comes to the health of your skin, the wellness of your skin, the wellness of your whole body. Really, you know, we're very health focused here, but we're also focused very strongly on the idea that, you know, it's a holistic journey, you know, and there's going to be a lot of questions, there's going to be a lot of answers that are needed. And that's really what we try to do. It's what I try to do in every episode that we publish publish is extract these answers from the best experts out there, from the people who really know what they're talking about and can cut through the BS and bring you guys facts versus fiction. And that's what we're trying to do. So I hope you guys will check everything out. If you have any questions at all, you can email us@namasteincareanarchipodcast.com Definitely. Chime in if you have any suggestions and I will be back next time. Thanks, guys.
