You look like you're flourishing, church. You look like you're flourishing. And I think you're flourishing because you've stayed planted. Planted. Now, if you're new to social, you're like, how they all know how to say that? It's because every single year, our church has a word for the year. And our word for this year is planted. And it's not a random word. It comes out of Scripture, Psalms 92. And we've been reading this verse every single Sunday of this year, and we're going to keep on doing it until you got it memorized. Now, last week we were social at home. We didn't gather in person. So I feel like we got to read it with some extra caffeinated enthusiasm. Can we do that? Come on, y' all. To 12:45 turn up. You got more sleep than anybody else today. So come on, we're gonna read it as one big family today. 1, 2, 3. Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bear fruit in old age. They shall be fresh and flourishing to declare that the Lord is upright. He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him. You sound good, Social. You sound better than good. You read that like your mama said. You better read it with everything you got. Speaking of that, I'm so thankful for my mama. I got a little more time in this service. I can honor my ebony Queen pastor, honey. Ms. Evelyn Madu. Thankful for a praying mama. How many of you are here because you had a prayer? Praying mama, A praying mama. I'm thankful for you. And today you are gonna be blessed. I was thinking about service today with it being Mother's Day, and what an awesome opportunity for us to be the church. The Bible says in Romans 12:15 that we ought to rejoice with those that rejoice and then also weep with those who weep. So that's why we can gather today and we can celebrate the moms and have picture ops and give macaroons and clap for them real big. And we should do that. That's appropriate. But we can also weep with those who weep today. I'm fully aware that there's some of you here today or watching online. This is your first Mother's Day without your mom, and you feel the pain of that. Or perhaps you're struggling with infertility and every Mother's Day is a sting to your soul. Or maybe you had a mom who wasn't there. Can I tell you, you're in the right place at the right time, with community around you, because we can rejoice with those who rejoice, and we can weep with those who weep. And so I want to let you know, we're so glad that you're here today, no matter where you fit in that. And I also want to let you know that who's preaching today to me personifies that verse. Tayla Madu, who I've been married to for 13 years and I've known for 19 years. Let me tell you, nobody will rejoice with you like this woman. She'll be more excited than you are, and then nobody will weep with you like her. She helps me love Jesus and people better. And I'm so thankful that she has a word that she is ready to preach. Come on, social fam. Can we thank God for the mother of this house, the mother of all my children, the super duper fine Taylor Madu, come on.

Happy Mother's Day. I already said it, but I'm gonna keep saying it. And happy Women's Day. Like PR Said earlier, we celebrate all women, all day, all ways, because women, we're a powerful force in the earth. Can I just say that I think I'm a little bit more sensitive to Mother's Day because Mother's Day has not always been something that was easy to celebrate for me. For those of you that have no clue who I am or even my story. When I was 19, I was born and raised in Arkansas and raised under pastor's home and her evangelist's home. And at 18, I got pregnant out of wedlock, and I carried my baby boy, Micah, which means God's mouthpiece, actually my first name, giving you some detail. And he was stillborn. I gave birth on Christmas Eve of 2005. And so I remember the pain and the sting of Mother's Day because I held my baby boy for 18 and a half hours. I remember praying and believing in that hospital room that God, I know that you've raised people from the dead, so maybe you could do it for me. And God chose a different route, and Micah is now in heaven. And it was hard. It was very, very hard. And I couldn't see beyond my pain, but I knew that right in front of me, God was faithful. God was true to his word, and he was about to teach me just how true to his word he is. And so he didn't take the pain away instantly, but he took me on this journey. And I am who I am today because of the way that he has developed me over the years through pain and through suffering and through disappointment. And so I can stand today not from someone who's removed from the suffering, but someone who sat in the seat of suffering and I overcame with arms linked to the Holy Spirit. And I stand today as a trophy of his grace and his power. And so I don't know what you came in carrying today. I know, I mean, we're celebrating, right? But I just want you to know that maybe there's a sting today, but it won't always be a sting. And God is with you every step of the way. Do you believe it? Amen and amen. This is round three and I'm ready to preach this word. I'll be teaching out of, say, standing while we read the Word. It's going to be out of Matthew 6, 25, 27, and then we'll jump down to verse 31 through 34. That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life. Whether you have enough food and drink or enough clothes to wear. Isn't life more than food and your body more than clothing? Look at the birds. They don't plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your Heavenly Father feeds them. And aren't you more, far more valuable to him than they are? Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? Down to verse 31. So don't worry about these things, saying, what will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear? These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers. But your Heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the kingdom of God. Seek the kingdom of God above all else and live righteously and he will give you everything you need. So don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today's trouble is enough for today. Father, we thank you for your word. Your word is truth. Your Word transforms. Your word completely changes our lives. So we align ourself with your truth today and we receive the freedom that comes in knowing you. I pray that every single person will be impacted by your Word. Soften and set the ground, the soil of our hearts, to receive the seed today. And may we leave changed, inspired, empowered by the power of your spirit. In Jesus name, amen. Amen and amen. You may be seated. As we just read, worries are a part of life. Here Jesus says, don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. But also today's trouble is enough for today. So we got worries tomorrow we got trouble today. We are surrounded with worries. We're not even halfway through the day. And I Guarantee you a lot of you have already experienced some worries this morning. Some of some people in the room, some women in the room especially probably already worried about your outfit that you were going to pick out for church today, right? Was anybody worried about your outfit? Stressing about it? Yeah. Nobody? No. That's just not me. Do you ever get like a little tear like you tried on a little outfit, it's not working out so you got a little tear. Now you're like, I'm dramatic. But it's a real thing, right? And the reason probably you're worried about it, cause you were also worried about getting your man or your woman when you came to Social Dallas today. Uh huh. Y' all came for a spouse instead of for Jesus and he sees it. I'm just kidding. Kidding. Did I hit a little something? Yeah. Woo. Worried, right? Some of you are already worried about getting out of the parking lot. You're right here right now, but you're thinking about an hour from now and you're trying to sneak out early because you're worried about the parking lot jam. That's real. Hey, I feel that. But we are worried. Some worries are bigger than others. Worries are inevitable. As I've studied this week on worry, I've had my own worries and it's made me pay more attention to what I worry about and how often I have the opportunity to worry. I almost titled this message bees, speaking engagements and tow Trucks. You're all like, what is happening? Did I really come to church for that? Yes, you did. Let me tell you what bees, speaking engagements and tow trucks have in common. So PR and I always go away after Easter and birthday. It's kind of like what we need to do, we need to reset. It's a lot, right? And so we go away and I'm laying by the pool and I'm living my best life, y' all. I know I'm about to preach for Mother's Day, so I'm in the store scriptures. I feel very holy, you know, I'm studying, I have my commentary and I'm minding my business, relaxing in the sun. And all of a sudden out of nowhere, I hear a little by my ear, you know, and here's a fun fact about Taylor Madu. I don't do bees and I don't do wasp. And that's why I think that wasp is the devil. Because they know I don't fool with them. And so I'm sitting there in scripture and I'm like, a bee appears and so I throw the towel And I take off running. And here we are, you know, we're surrounded by a few bougie people. And I feel the stairs, but I don't care because I'm worried about getting stung by a bee. And so I'm running, and then all of a sudden I make eye contact with the woman across the pool. And she's like, a bee? I'm like, yeah, a bee. A bee. And it's not gonna sting me, okay? And so I'm worried about the bee. Well, then we fly back, we land, and we're on our way home to see the kids. Super excited. I feel rested, I feel great. I pull up my calendar. Cause I have a lot on my to do list this week. And so I pull up the day and it's 4 o' clock. So we're hitting traffic, headed home. And I look down, and on my calendar, it says that I have a speaking engagement at a women's event that night at 7 o' clock in Keller that I didn't know about. I don't know about it because I should know about it. But I don't have an assistant. I need an assistant in Jesus name. The assistant's on the way, okay? And I look and I'm like, wait. So it's four o' clock, I have an hour to get home. I'm in sweats. I have a speaking engagement at 6, 7. But it's an hour to get there. My heart starts pounding, right? I'm worried. I'm concerned. Now PR's heart, his start. His heart starts pounding because he's freaking out. My worry is making him worry because worry is contagious. Be careful who you surround yourself with, okay? So I look, and then all of a sudden, then I'm like, oh, no, it's fine. I'm looking at the wrong date, y' all. I was actually looking this next week. I was at the wrong date. Once again, I need an assistant in Jesus name. And we're fine. We're fine. But I'm worried, worried again. Well, then I go to the salon to get my hair done for Mother's Day, you know, I need some highlights, touch up the roots. And I go. And it's a new salon. And I park my car while I go sit. They put the fulls in. I'm in the middle of getting my hair done, and all of a sudden I look to my left and there's some tow truck, like tow signs. I'm gonna tow your car if you're here more than 15 minutes. Well, I'm there for like five hours. And so I start worrying and stressing about my car getting towed. And so instead of just like a normal human going and moving your car, I decided to go to the window every, like, five minutes to check. So I probably went 25 to 30 times to check to see if my car was going to get towed. And so what's funny is these three things, what they all have in common, is the fact that it caused me so much stress and so much worry, and yet I was worried about something that actually never even happened. And the stats say that 85% of what people worry about never even happens. And yet we worry. So I guess I have a question today that I want us to ask. It's so since we know that worry is inevitable, what do we do with our worry? Is there even a remedy for worry? And yet in today's text, Jesus makes it very clear and gives us a remedy to worry. He doesn't say phone a friend. He doesn't say take a Xanax. He doesn't say go scroll on social media. There's nothing wrong with any of these things. I think the only time they become a concern is whenever they're your way of escape. Because you can't escape you. Everywhere you go, you go too. So you can't escape you. And if these things are your way to escape, then you're always gonna have more worries. Cause one worry leads to the next worry. Jesus is the answer. And so Jesus says, today, don't worry. Look at the birds. That's the title of my message is look at the birds. You got dressed, you got in the car, you beat traffic, and you came up in the room today just to hear, hear me say. Jesus says look at the birds. There's a message in everything. Creation is always speaking of his glory. And on this day, he says, hey, don't worry, look at the birds. So he tells them to start bird watching. Anyone else love to watch birds? I am obsessed with bird watching. You're going to hopefully do that moving forward. Okay, so I guess I also want to ask another question. What do the birds have to do with my worry? There's a phrase for the birds, and it's pretty dismissive. It means kind of, that's for the birds. It means it's worthless or it's not to be taken seriously. So why would Jesus say not to worry and to look at the birds so that I wouldn't worry? Jesus is never ignorant. That's one thing to know. Jesus is always intentional. If he says it, pay Close attention. We see it throughout Scripture that he would say things and maybe it wouldn't make sense to us because we're limited, right? We're human beings and we're so limited. But often he speaks and he has multiple meanings behind what he's saying. So we see it with Moses. Moses is leading the children of Israel out of slavery. And he says, go to the water. Raise your staff and lift up your hand to divide the waters. So I'm going to go to the water, I'm going to raise up my staff. What? And now I'm going to lead the people into freedom. This doesn't even make sense. But this wasn't a magic trick. It was a faith in motion. Then we see the paralyzed man. The friends carried him up the side of a building. A room opened up. The ceiling lowered him down at Jesus feet. He came. He needed a miracle in his body. And then Jesus says, your sins are forgiven. It's like, wait, what? Like, I came to get my healing. What are you talking about? My sins are forgiven. But Jesus, not ignorant, intentional. He was intentionally going to the deeper need. Jesus isn't making suggestions, he's extending invitations. What we must understand is as the group of people that Jesus is talking to, this is very, very important. Because these would have been Jewish individuals. Poor, beaten down by their circumstances, Tired, weary, exhausted, afraid, truly didn't know where their next meal was coming from. Oppressed by the Romans, looking at him, he's locked in. They had every reason to be worried about food. See, you and I, we don't get it. We're not worried about food. They had every reason to be afraid and worried and confused. And Jesus tells them in their state, look at the birds. The Greek word Jesus uses for look is emble sa te. Am I speaking in tongues? I don't know. Maybe I am. It's emble satay. This word means to look intently, fix your eyes on and consider deeply. This isn't just a glance. It's not just look, look away, look over there. This is like, look, look. Not just a glance, but really seeing them. Seeing the birds, paying close attention to the birds, the way they move, the way they fly, and learn something from them. This word look is not passive. It is a command. So because this is what Scripture says to do, I've actually been paying attention to the birds for quite some time now, for years. And I honestly am extremely obsessed with them. Observed a few things, and one thing I've learned is that birds are carefree because they're cared for. So birds you're not really going to see them worrying. They don't worry. And I believe they don't worry because they're limited. They're not aware of the chaos around them. They're flying high and living their best lives, not a care in the world, because they are limited. And I believe that's one of the things that's fueling our worry in 2025 is our awareness. We have access to every person, we have access to every country. We have access to all of the drama, all of the things going wrong in life. We have an awareness, therefore it's fueling our worry. We must protect what we feed ourselves. Birds are also active, but not anxious. They're active. I have watched. I have a bluebird box, and I have watched every single year for the past three years. The female and the male come out during springtime, so right around March. And they fly from the tree and they fly to the. To the bird box, to the tree, to the bird box, and they slowly. The tiniest little twigs and they build the nest and they prepare for their babies and they take the food. And I watch them for months and months, every single day, not skipping a day. They're very active. They work, but they're not anxious. It reminds me of Mary and Martha, the story where Jesus goes into the house and Mary sits at his feet and she's locked in and she's listening to every word. And yet Martha is known because she's so busy and she won't stop working and, you know, she won't stop to pause. She's just doing everything. And then Jesus says, martha, he says, don't. He says, he doesn't say not to work. He says not to worry. And I think that's important to understand because Jesus sees beyond her busyness. He knows that there's something in her soul that won't allow her to settle. Number four, birds don't stress. They soar. And one thing I know to be true is that you cannot soar if you're weighed down. Birds, they teach us a lot. There's a reason why Jesus is telling us to look at the birds. Birds teach us a ton. And while studying this week the topic of worry, it has also taught me a lot. And so, as I've prayed, I want you to take away these three simple truths, and I want you to carry them throughout your life. Number one, worry is not your wardrobe. You will have worry. We know that to be true. But you don't have to wear worry. And there's a difference. Worry is weighty. In Proverbs 12:25, it says, Worry weighs a person down. Worry is heavy. It's weighty. It makes you exhausted. You don't know why you're so tired. Why am I so tired? You think your job is making you tired? No, it's your worry that is making you exhausted. And when you're worried, it makes you weary. And when you're weary, you're more vulnerable and weaker to the enemy. We see this in First Peter. It says, give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you. Stay alert. Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Pay attention. Stay alert. And the crazy part is that we all worry so much that we don't even realize we're worrying. I've been walking around the block, trying to get my miles, my steps in, and I've hit five miles, and I love it. It's like one of my favorite things. And to really, you know, shred out. I purchased a weighted vest off of amaz £20. And so as I walk and as I pray and as I do the things, I actually put on the weighted vest. And at first, whenever I put on the weighted vest, I can feel it a little bit. And then, you know, I get to going, so an hour in, hour and a half. Over time, I don't even feel the weight anymore. I just get used to it. And then it's not until I get home and I stop and I slow, or I slow and I stop and I take off the weighted vest that all of a sudden I realize the heavy weight that I had been carrying. And I think that many of us, including myself, that's what we do, is we carry around so much worry, and it's so weighty, and yet we've gotten used to it. We don't even realize that we've accepted it as this is just the way that life is going to be. It's become our normal. And today is the call to take off the weighted worry and feel the relief that comes through. Jesus Christ. Don't wear your worry. Sometimes if you're not worried, you feel bad that you're not worried. So you start worrying to make yourself feel better. Where the mama's at? Y' all know we're guilty of that. I know that sometimes I'm the worst at that. I feel like. Like I'm away enjoying a vacation, and I'm not worried about my kids. And then all of a sudden, I feel worried that I'm not worried. So then I get worried. So I feel like a better moment. What is that not what we do. And it's crazy because worry produces worry. So I'm concerned about my kids and I want them to be great and I want them to be okay. And yet my worry is producing more worry in them. My worry is producing anxious children. Isn't that crazy? Have you ever noticed how you're out and like all of a sudden, like something happens and like you, you kind of do like this and the person with you doesn't know what's going on, but they do it too, because they're like, wait, if you're running, I'm running. Do you know what I'm saying? Like, if someone runs out the room, I'm running too. I'm gonna drop the mic and I'm running out the room. Why? Because worry produces worry. So be careful who you surround yourself with and also be careful with how you carry yourself. I grew up in Arkansas, as I told you, and we would. We love people coming over to our house. You know, that's the thing. Set the table, have people over. We're family. We're having a good time. Well, then there comes a time where you've been, you know, they've been over here for a few hours and we have a, we have a saying. You know, it's like, okay, it's time. You're wearing out your welcome. You know, you're wearing out your welcome. And I appreciate you and I'm so glad that you came over and I love your company for just a bit. But now it's time for you to go. And today I feel like some of you have invited worry into the home of your heart. And you are taking worry everywhere that you go. Worry goes to sleep with you. Worry wakes up with you. Worry goes to coffee with you. Worry goes to the brunch with you, to the lunch, to the dinner. Worry goes with you every single where that you go. And it is so important right now. Call to action. Worry, you have worn out. You're welcome. I'm grateful for you because you've kind of made me gritty, right? You've taught me how to lean out on my own understanding. You've taught me that his strength is made perfect in weakness. However, you've worn out your welcome and it's time for you to go. I'm not wearing you another second. You believe it. Number two, Worry is a wake up call to worship. Worry is my signal to worship. So we know there's worries, but when I feel the worry. I'm not putting it on. I'm turning that into worship. There's power in God's presence. That's why we've established from day one that social is a house of presence. Because there's something that is transformed. There's something that happens whenever his presence shows up. There's healing, there's power, there's freedom, there's restoration, there's power in the presence of God. So when you feel a worry, turn that worry into a worship alarm. Let's say it like that. Turn your worries into worship alarms. The enemy comes and he plants seeds of worry. He tells you that you're not going to find the job. He tells you that you're not going to make it out of this season, that you lost a loved one and you'll always be devastated and you'll never be able to come out on the other side of it. He tells you that you're too far gone, that you've made too many mistakes. And he just worry after worry after worry after worry. And yet this is a time and a call to action where you step into. You choose to lift your hands and. And you align yourself with the will of God, the kingdom of heaven. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Your will be done, your presence. This is where we're transformed. This is where we get our strength. Psalm 73, 16, 17. It says, When I tried to understand all this, it troubled me deeply until I entered the sanctuary of God. The message version. It says, when I tried to figure it out, all I got was a splitting headache until I entered the sanctuary of God. Then I saw the whole picture. The sanctuary of God, the presence of God. And yet Jesus came and he died and he tore the veil. And that way we have direct access to his presence at any moment. You don't have to come to Social Dallas on a Sunday to encounter his presence. His presence can fill your bedroom. His presence can fill your car. His presence can fill your bathroom. His presence can fill anywhere you go, anywhere you go. If you want his presence, then you just ask. And you have direct access to his presence. Worshiping. It aligns us with his will. Worship is a weapon that confuses the enemy. Let me tell you something. The way the enemy plants the seed of worry and the way you confuse him. When you begin just to lift up the name of Jesus, I'm convinced there's nothing more powerful because he's been watching you. He's been plotting and scheming and all of a Sudden he strikes and you're like unfazed, unbothered. Why? Because you're a believer and you know that his ways are higher and you know that you're the head and not the tail. You know that if God is for you, who can be against you? You know this to be true. My kids have this thing where they love to irritate each other. Like, I never taught them to do that. It's like, what is happening. But they've done it for 10 years. You know, 10 years we're in this thing. And it's so funny because. Not funny, it stresses me out, but I'm not worried about it. And so one child, I say all three, they do it at different times, but one child will go to another one just to irritate them. And they'll begin to say something that irritates them. And then the one will respond with, that's the response. I'm like, that's amazing, actually. And so one is like, I got the toy, I got a toy. You don't. And all of a sudden, remember, will say, she'll interrupt that thing. And it's so funny because before you know it, I'll hear the one that started the fight run out screaming and crying because they're frustrated that she continued to interrupt that thing. And I think some of you need to know that it's time for you to interrupt what the enemy's trying to plant into your life. He's coming and saying, you're not gonna make it. He's gonna say, you're too far gone. He's saying, you're gonna be single for the rest of your life. He's gonna say, then accept the infertility. You're never gonna be able to get pregnant. And you step up and you say, in the name of Jesus, I know who my God is. And if God is for me, who can be against me? He fights my battles. He goes before me.

He.

It's time for someone to get your strength back, your clarity back. Throw off the worry. He's a bully. He's a bully and yet he has no power. No power. He's already been defeated. He plants worry. We worship. That's how we get down, okay? He comes for me. We worship. I have a friend, that childhood friend who just two weeks ago in a car crash, him and his daughter and his seven year old baby girl went to heaven. We prayed for three days that God would enter in, like step into that hospital room. I just knew God, I knew God was gonna do it. And she went to heaven. And I've been so worried about their family, so brokenhearted, checking on them. What can I do for you? Can I send you groceries? What can I do? Like, my heart is so broken. And the other day, he posted with his older daughter and they were getting yogurt. And in the background was, good, good father plan. And I texted him, I said, you're a good father. You're a great father. And his response is, you know who's a really good father? My Jesus. And he turned what the enemy meant to take him out and wipe him out. He's reversing and he's choosing to bring glory to God. Because my circumstances don't determine who my God is. He is God. He is God. No matter what is happening around me, he is God. He is savior. And worries are inevitable. Trouble will come. And yet our response is, we choose to give you glory number three and last. You are built for this. You are built for this. I told them when you make the graphic, underline this, okay, you're built for this. Not that, not theirs. You are built for this. Right here, right now. There's a study, a research that happened in 2010, it was Yale University, on anxiety. The findings were that worry activates the brain's default mode network, the part that thinks about the past and the future. So our brain, our natural wiring as we go in, it's our autopilot. So automatically we go. And when we're not focusing on something, we go to either the past or the future. And the result of this is that this constant activity contributes to anxiety and mental fatigue. And I think that's something that happens so often, is that we are either living in the past or we're living in the future. And my friend just released a song this week called be where your feet are. And so I want to sound the alarm and remind you that living in the past, living in the future could possibly be the thing that is making you so anxious and so worried. I was talking to someone yesterday, and they were so worried about the future and how we were going to do this and how we're going to do that. I said, hey, stop. Right here, right now, right here. We have everything that we need right here. God's provided. Look what all he's done leading up to this moment. The future, I can't tell you about the future. I can only tell you right here, right now. God is faithful. God has done and met every single need of ours. And the enemy would love to steal the joy of the now to get you worried about your past or looking ahead to your future. But look, right now, you're alive, you're breathing. You have breath in your lungs. He wants to still. He wants you to stay worried. He wants you to wear worry. Be where your feet are. You are grace. For this moment, I'm closing with this. PR and I, we were on a plane this week, and we were actually stuck on the Runway for three hours because of all the storms. And as we were waiting, you know, it's three hours long time. We finally take off, and once we take off, we're up in the air about seven to ten minutes. And kid you, not one of the craziest moments of our traveling career. All of a sudden, out of nowhere, this, like, fire thing shoots across the window and hits the plane. The plane. Literally everyone on the plane, minus me and Pastor Robert said a cuss word or two. Maybe, you know, we didn't because we're saved. You know, literally. I thought we were about to die. Kid you not. I grab his hand and I'm like, wow, like, we're about to go down. Waited on them to come on the microphone to tell us that the left side of the plane was detached, the wing fell off, and we're going down, you know. And all of a sudden, the stewardess, she took a little too long for me, but she. She comes on the little thing and she's like, everyone, we just want to make you aware that the plane is okay. The plane was struck by lightning, and it's okay, though. We're going to be able to land some safely. There's nothing to worry about, you know. And so all of a sudden I'm like, wait, what? Like, we almost just died, you know, like, this is going to be a great story for Sunday because I'm preaching, so I'm going to share the story and testify to the Lord that the plane was struck by lightning and we didn't go down. Hallelujah, you know. But then I reached out to my assistant, chat GPT, and I wrote in there because I was so curious, like, chat, hey, girl. So am I supposed to be dead? Because the plane I am currently on was just struck by lightning. So, like, what happens next? You know, like, am I going down in five seconds? And the response actually blew my mind because it said. She said, planes are built for this. Planes are actually built for lightning strikes. There's an outer layer that is built onto the plane that whenever the lightning strikes, it absorbs it and keeps it safe and keeps it moving. So I don't know if Y' all know where I'm going with this. But I think some of you need to know and need to be aware and be reminded that you are built for this. Worry is inevitable. And when the enemy comes to strike you with worry, hey, you're still standing. You ain't going down. Let me tell you something. You were built for this right here, right now. I don't know what seeds of worry that he's trying to plant to discourage you to make you think this thing is going to take me out. No, you ain't going down. You are not going down. You were built for this moment right here, right now. Worry is weighty. Worry is heavy. But moving forward, I promise you, you're never gonna look at a bird the same. When you see those birds flying. Oh, yeah. Look at them and be reminded that creation speaks of his glory, that he's gonna take care of you and meet every need. Your heart is broken right now because you're struggling with infertility. God is gonna heal your body in Jesus name. And healing looks different for different people, but he's going to use it to bring glory to him. You're worried about your child that is running away from the Lord. Let me tell you something. Don't wear that worry. That child is going to come back. In Jesus name. We're going to pray and declare and believe that that child is coming back. Some of you got a doctor's report, and it's so weighty, you don't know how you're going to make it day to day. You don't know how you're going to pay your bills, throw off the weight of worry, and align yourself with the kingdom mentality. You know, Matthew, out of all the four gospels, he's the one that wrote about the kingdom of heaven the most. And in our text today, he says the kingdom of heaven, the kingdom of heaven. And I think that is the key, is an eternal perspective that this is just temporary. And as troubles come and as the enemy strikes with worry, I was built for this. The Bible talks about putting on our armor the helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness, the sword of the spirit, the belt of truth, shoes of peace. Every day you get up, make this your declaration that even whenever you don't believe it, put it on. Put it on. Helmet of salvation, sword of the spirit, breastplate of righteousness, belt of truth, shoes of peace. This is what you put on. And I know that today so many people came in wearing worry. And now, because we're talking about it, you're Realizing how much weight you've been carrying, that is not what God has intended for your life, life. And so I speak peace over you today. I speak that right now as the presence of God has already been here waiting, that as you come into his presence, that you would feel this weight. The same way I took off the weighted vest and didn't even realize, oh, this feels so much lighter. His presence is doing that for you right here, right now, that you are equipped and you have everything that you need in order to move forward and fulfill the plan of God over your life. God, I speak peace right now. There's power in our words. You spoke creation with the words. So I speak peace. I speak hope to the heart that is hopeless. I speak clarity of thought. There are some people that have been in such a brain fog, they can't even think. But God, right now, they're receiving clarity of thought. They're actually sleep. They're going to sleep so well tonight. Some people have been having sleepless nights, but you're giving them true rest, God, in their soul, where they're going to lay down and sleep like a baby tonight. God, I believe that right now, God, right now you're opening wounds. There are people that are struggling because they desire so deeply to have a baby. So, God, right now, I speak to the womb. I speak to the body to be healed. I speak to depression and anxiety that has crippled the individual. They have turned to other things to try to cope. But God, today you're highlighting the things. You're highlighting their escape plan and saying, you can't run from you. I am the way. I am the truth. I am the life. And today they're shifting gears and they're fixing their focus on you, Father, and choosing you. And you are the answer that we need to the person that needs to make the first step in following you. They've never received you as savior. And we know that we can try all the things. But if we don't have you as savior of our lives and we have nothing. And so right where you are, if you want to receive Jesus as Lord, repeat after me, father, I receive you as savior of my life. Forgive me of my sins. Wash me white as snow. Although it's hard, I want to know you. I want to understand you. I want to learn you. I want to grow with you, Father. So come into my heart and help me today. Walk with me. Be the Lord of my life. In Jesus name, Jesus, we thank you for your healing. You're healing the hearts right now of your people, God. And we're just going to sit right here.
A
Thank you, Jesus. I really believe that not only was that word necessary, but that pause at the end was necessary for somebody. If you read the psalms, you'll periodically see this word selah, which means pause, reflect on what was just said. And I'm excited because I feel like there's some worriers that walked in, but you're walking out a warrior and a worshiper because you're saying, God, I'm gonna give this to you. I'm gonna let my worry be an alarm to worship. And I'm not gonna wait till Sunday to do it. I will turn my cubicle into a sanctuary. I'll into a house of worship. I'll turn my bedroom into a place of worship. And I'm telling you, watch the worry lift off of you. My little one is back there, Remy. And she said she wanted to come on stage with me. Then she changed her mind. It just took me back to a moment where I was weighed down by worry and depression and she was in the house and it was their kids praise and worship music going on. And the Lord was like, I want you to worship with your daughter. I was like, I'm too stressed and depressed to worship. He was like, that's exactly why you need to. I'll never forget it. The song was you make me brave. And so I went and didn't feel like it, but lifted up my hands and started worshiping and felt the presence of God and they that place like never before. And then watch this as I'm worshiping, depressed, worried. But turn my room into a sanctuary watching my daughter worship. The only did I sense the presence of God as I'm singing you make me brave. I actually started listening to little Remy, who was worshiping too, and noticed she was doing like this while she was worshiping. And she wasn't even singing you make me brave. She was singing, you make me braids. You make me braids. And for the first time in a season of depression, I started laughing at my baby girl because she thought God made her braids and not brave. And I'm telling you, some of you are missing out on the greatest weapon because you don't worship. Because you say, I'm too worried, I'm too anxious. No, that's when you need to press in and worship like never before and watch that worry lift off you. Some of you have been so weighed down worried you're staying away from the house of God and you actually need to get in the house of God and Get connected with the right people. I told him in the earlier service, can you imagine if Chatgpt, in that moment on the plane that your boy was scared, if ChatGPT said you actually got 10 seconds to live, it's going down. Can you imagine? Thank God ChatGPT had the right information, said, no, the plane was built for this. Some of you need to check your circle and make sure you got the right people around you who are not adding to your worry, but are going to speak the truth of God and declare the word of God over your life. And I just think we ought to thank God for the mother of this house for that word that she gave us today. I'm telling you, taking that with me. Look at your neighbor. Say, I was built for this. Come on, look at your other neighbor. Tell them you were built for this. Amen. So glad that you came today. We asked for friends that are at the Connect tent if you need to find community or maybe you don't have a Bible, there's some people that would love to be there and meet you. Our prayer team, as always, going to stay here. If you want personal prayer, don't ever leave Social Dallas without getting personal prayer. If you desire that. But if you can't do any of that, I would encourage you to just keep showing up. Just keep showing up. Because if you keep showing up, if you keep showing up, you keep growing up. Happy Mother's Day to all the moms. In fact, every lady, we got a gift for you. Don't leave without getting your gift. We got photo ops. But until next Sunday, may the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make his face shine upon you, give you grace and peace now and forevermore.
