After a near-death crash above Lane Stadium, Pasha Palanker shares the account of parachuting into Lane Stadium for the Virginia Tech Spring Game, which captured the eyes of the Nation. Pasha is a retired U.S. Army Special Operations Master Sergeant. While serving in Iraq on counter-IED operations, he survived multiple blast injuries, encountered a suicide bomber at close range, and was awarded two Purple Hearts and a Bronze Star Medal with Valor. Today, Pasha is a mental health advocate, speaker, and now, a Hokie legend.
