Well, my friends, welcome back to Spot on with Link Lauren. Happy hump day. Happy Wednesday. We have a lot to discuss if this is your first time tuning in. Welcome. Buckle up. Things are going to get spicy. Y' all know I was gonna bring you the goods, okay? I'm not gonna do an episode of the show and not bring you the goods. We have so many hot Topics. We're of course gonna break down Meghan Markle's weird 8th anniversary post. I think she's protesting too much. I also think there's a cautionary tale Meghan Markle teaches us. If you have it all, don't blow it. She literally went from being revered, loved British royalty with a royal wedding to now selling jams, jellies, and dog biscuits. So this will be a cautionary tale. We'll break all of that down on the show. Some of her new social media posts. We also found this story no one else has covered yet, but it's starting to go viral. Anna Wintour was caught on camera at Starbucks and getting her own coffee. Okay. Some folks have said maybe this is indicative of the economy. Maybe there's a message here. I actually have a take on this. I don't know if anybody else is going to give. I think Anna Wintour getting her own coffee speaks to the workforce right now. I think it also speaks to the fact that the publishing, the magazine and print industry are going down. Okay. I also don't think she can trust her Gen Z interns and assistants. And I will tell you why. As someone who is Gen Z, but isn't afraid to call all of them out. So we're also going to give you an update on Spencer Pratt and the Los Angeles mayoral race. People are really falling in love with Spencer Pratt. You guys know I've known him a little bit. We're friends, we've met, we've hung out. I'm rooting for Spencer Pratt because you've tried Karen Bass and the fire hydrants did not have water. So we're going to discuss Spencer Pratt. He was also caught on camera eating out at a restaurant, and for some reason, people are upset. So we're going to break all of that down and more. We have so many more hot topics, including something the first lady of the United States got done yesterday that should be getting a lot more tech and a lot more attention. I'm glad someone is getting things done in Washington, D.C. and it's Melania Trump because she really, really is working on meaningful and impactful legislation. So it feels like on this show, what this show has become is me holding up a mirror to society and saying, remember when we all used to be normal? Are we still the last normal ones? Like, if the robots are coming, they say the UFOs are coming. Maybe they're already here. It's my job just to say, let's come together in communion and be normal. Okay. When you could talk to your neighbor when we were part of a civilized society. Because some of these stories, I look on the news and I'm like, how are we even discussing this? How has the world gone so mad and so woke and so crazy? And so everyone is welcome on the show as long as you have a sense of humor. I also have to say, Today is our 100th episode of SpotOn. We'll put up some footage on the screen from our very first episode. Hopefully I still look the same. Hopefully I haven't changed that much. The lighting, I don't know. The lighting was very questionable back then. Obviously, I'm pale like Casper the Ghost. But nonetheless, Today is our 100th episode, and I'm so grateful to the folks who make this podcast a reality, who work so hard. We do not have a big team. Someone said the other day, don't you have five producers? No, it's me and one person. And we put it together unscripted, unfiltered, raw, and we just go. But we would not have a podcast without. Without all of you who watch. And I'm so grateful for our community on here. I read so many comments. I was up last night responding to comments. I welcome everyone. There are folks who watch who are 20. There are people who write me and say I hope it's okay to watch the podcast. I'm 80, I'm 75. Of course I hate how society treats people when they get into their 60s, 70s, 80s, as if they should just be. What? Discarded? As if they don't want to have fun, cut loose, be a little footloose and fancy free and get a little bit cheeky. So I love everyone and shout out to the moms who watch. Shout out to the grandmas who watch. Shout out to the men who watch. I love all of you, but we got to pay some bills really quickly. We have a 60 second ad and then we are back with some really hot topics. Everybody's talking about weight loss injections because the results are so dramatic. Here's even better news. They're having a huge Memorial Day sale and lean is 25% off. Visit take lean.com and enter. Thank you 25 for 25 off. That's promo code. Thank you 25@take lean.com so we have to start off by talking about this video of Anna Wintour that has gone viral. The editor in chief of Vogue, she was played by Meryl Streep and the Devil Wears Prada. She's known for being the Ice Queen. She's known for having 15 different assistants. You might get a cell phone thrown at you. No, I'm just kidding. But she was caught on camera at Starbucks in New York City getting her own coffee. And now millions of people online are saying, why is Anna Wintour getting her own coffee? But you guys, this is kind of the plot to the Devil Wears Prada too, if you haven't seen it. A little bit of spoiler. The print industry is going down. You can't get good assistance. You can't get good interns. Basically, there are layoffs. People are being cut. So Anna Wintour has to go out there and get her own coffee. Now, as a Gen Z person, I am going to have to call out Gen Z a little bit as well. Anna Wintour, she has worked in the industry for decades, right? She's probably used to just yelling at the assistant, go get the coffee. Bring it back. If the coffee's not hot, you're fired. Right? That's the way they did business back in the day because of hr. Now because of the way Gen Z is, because the young people are so litigious and they have a little bit of a different work ethic. Not all of them, right? There are young people with great work ethics. Maybe Anna Wintour can't even trust her little assistants to go get her the coffee anymore. If she asks her assistant, hey, go get me the coffee and it's raining, the assistant could turn around and sue her and say, I was forced to go out in the rain. And unhealthy working conditions. That's what it's like these days. So, you know, Anna Wintour is like, let me just do it myself, okay? Everybody has to be PC, politically correct, let me go get my own coffee. But I think even people at Starbucks were shook. They were like, what is she doing here getting her own coffee? But you have to imagine, right, the way these young people are coming into the workforce now. I even saw this in college with friends of mine. They'd be like, I can't come to class. I'm having such bad anxiety. I can't make it to class. I'm feeling so anxious. I had one friend, she didn't show up for her exam. She's like, I'm having irritable bowel syndrome. I have ibs. I just can't make it. I'm like, well, how did it happen to flare up during the one hour of the year you have your exam, right? I need a mental health day. I mean, there are universities that have rooms now where kids can go cry and commune together and have cookies and milk and I guess feel like children again because the world is just so scary. Anna Wintour, she is a take no prisoners kind of person. So I imagine she is not enjoying dealing with the workforce. And we actually found this headline. 77% of Gen Z job seekers have brought a parent to an interview. They're even getting them to negotiate pay raises and take their hiring tests, okay? If I'm an employer and you bring your parent to an interview, that resume is going in the trash, okay? Some of these young people, they need to man up. Imagine Anna Wintour she hires an assistant. The assistant comes in. I have decided I am non binary. My pronouns are they, them. What if she calls the intern the wrong pronouns? And then the whole magazine gets hit with a $10 million lawsuit? So at this point, she's probably running her own errands, she's making her own copies, she's fetching her own lunch. She is hating corporate America right now. And all these, you know, non binary, they, thems, they all have names you can't keep up with, like hexagon and persimmon and periwinkle. Like, whatever happened to Tom, Dick and Harry? You know, whatever happened to John Smith? Amy? So in a winter, I'm not surprised to see her getting her own coffee, because that's just the way it is. And then some of these kids these days, they all have, like, new allergies you've never heard of and autoimmune issues. And it's probably the food, the water. God knows what the intern might be like, I'm so sorry, Ms. Wintour. I'm allergic to Styrofoam and plastic. She can't fire them. She can't fire them. So I think Anna Wintour in corporate America right now, with how PC everything's become, with how some of these young people are in the workforce, she's like, let me just take matters into my own hands. Let me take matters into my own hands, but I will give some grace to young people as well. Right? I understand why so many young people feel disenchanted. They feel disenfranchised, right? They see AI coming in. A lot of these billionaires are saying we can get AI to do things that our PhD hires would take weeks to do, and AI is doing it in five minutes. Right? That's pretty bleak. So not only is AI maybe going to take the blue collar jobs, it also might take the white collar jobs. Then you're really going to have a revolution. And so I don't blame some of these young people for feeling checked out. I also think the pandemic did a lot, did a lot of damage. So many young people now, they don't know how to shake hands. They don't know how to look you in the eye. They can't be assertive. They don't have that work ethic. They feel like, well, am I ever going to own a home? Is that ever going to be a possibility for me? Why am I going to hustle all day if that's never even going to happen? I could work till I die and still never get that Right. So there's sort of this bleak mentality from a lot of young people, but I'm not just going to give them a pass. Okay? I do think bringing your parents to a job interview is insane. I think a lot of young people, they have checked out and it's on them to get back in the game. I also know because I was an intern and an assistant in New York City all throughout college in the entertainment industry, you got to be tough, okay? There are things my boss said to me and yelled at me and said, shut up and go to the back of the room. I could have cried. I could have turned around and said, I quit, but you got a man up. And so I think when I look at Anna Wintour getting her own coffee, it just reminds me, maybe she can't trust her interns and she can't trust her assistants anymore. Now, speaking of someone else who also does not want to work and is incredibly lazy, let's talk about Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Scamalot. As we told you in the last episode, she went over, over to Geneva, Switzerland to give a speech on bullying and about 12 people showed up. Literally. I have been in elevators with more people, okay? I was in line at Whole Foods last night with more people than showed up for Meghan Markle, who's supposed to be royalty, but she's not royalty anymore. So Meghan Markle, she returned from Geneva, Switzerland, and she made a point to post a letter that the British Airway Airways flight attendants wrote to her. She always makes up these stories that when she's on an airline, people are kneeling next to her and coming up to her and saying, thank you for your sacrifice and thank you for your service. You know, that was in her documentary. So she had to post this and say that the flight crew gave her this wonderful letter and here they all signed it. And that's nice. I understand the flight attendants being excited to see a celebrity, but that's all she is at this point. She's basically a D list reality star. So she goes home, she gets a ton of bad press from Geneva, Switzerland, because she did not get the reception that Catherine got in the street that the other royals get, where people are, you know, throwing flowers and screaming and hanging out of windows and handing their babies. So what does she do? She decides to post a ton of pictures from their eighth wedding anniversary. So apparently yesterday was Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's eighth wedding anniversary. So they posted these never before seen pictures because they know it's going to get attention Meghan Markle is very calculated. This is someone who I thought left the royal family because she wanted privacy. She didn't want prying eyes into her relationship. But now she's posting pictures kissing Prince Harry. She was posting videos. She was showing off the gift he got her. This is basically who Meghan Markle is. And she's facing some backlash right now as well because she posted that weird picture of Lilibet on the floor in the closet. So now she's posting wedding pictures. Let this be a cautionary tale. When you look at these wedding pictures, where have the last eight years gone? I remember getting up. I remember getting up at 2am, 2am here in the US to watch the royal wedding. We were so excited. There's this American girl, She's married a prince, the ginger prince, the most eligible bachelor on earth. We all had high hopes for her. Okay? There were some dicey things that happened before the wedding. She tried to pretend she barely knew who he was. And then we found pictures of her outside Buckingham palace, which is kind of like driving by a guy's house with the lights off on your car. She made sure to go take pictures outside Buckingham palace, but nonetheless, she acted like she barely knew who Prince Harry was, even though she'd been looking for a rich, famous husband for years. We let all that go. Okay? King Charles walks her down the aisle. For some reason, she disinvites most of her family. She probably doesn't think they're camera ready. So it's basically her and Doria, the mother, alone at the wedding, and we still welcomed her. The people in London, they were throwing flowers in the street. She was in a horse drawn carriage. She was living that Cinderella fantasy. And what does Megan Markle become? A wannabe Kardashian? She's basically become a wannabe Kardashian selling jams, jellies and dog biscuits. Okay, Meghan Markle, she now sells flower sprinkles. I don't know what the hell flower sprinkles are, but this is who she's become. She was British royalty. She's now selling flower sprinkles. Meghan Markle, well, she's now selling wickless candles. As y' all remember, ordered, a candle didn't come with a wick. Okay, didn't come with a wick. It's like a swimming pool without water. You probably don't want to dive in. So that's who Meghan Markle is. She went from being British royalty, having every celebrity on earth line up to hang out with her. To now, she's crashing Kardashian birthday parties. She's doing little PR stunts. She's having to grift and post personal pictures just to generate some attention for herself. And this is why I always tell my young women out there and my guys, too, you gotta know when you have it good, okay? If you marry well, if you have a good job, if you're in a healthy, stable relationship, if you have your health, don't tempt luck, don't test fate. Have gratitude for where you are. But Meghan Markle, I think she always just wanted to be an influencer. She wanted to be a celebrity. She wanted to be an influencer. And she probably thought in the back of her head, we're gonna go over there, get married, and I'm gonna plot and get us to move back to Los Angeles. Prince Harry, he has no ties to Los Angeles. He's never lived in Los Angeles. He's not American. He's never lived in California. But she made sure they came back to her hometown so she could do reality shows and interviews with Oprah and hang out with the Kardashians. And if she had just stayed in the royal family, the Kardashians would be calling and begging to hang out with her. And now she's outside the party like, hey, am I on the list? Am I on the list? That's who she has become. And so let this be a cautionary tale to so many people and just see the hypocrisy here in saying you want privacy, you want to be left alone, and then you're posting personal stuff. One thing we want to show you, she posted a video of Prince Harry giving her a cake for their wedding anniversary. Take a look. Happy anniversary to
C
I love you.
B
Now, some people believe online that that was actually from their fourth wedding anniversary because there were four candles on it. I really don't care. I don't care. Prince Harry, he's stuck in the compound. He made his bed. He needs to lie in it. I think Megan Markle, of course, she gets a lot of hate because she's a grifter and a scammer, in my opinion. But Prince Harry as well, he has allowed her to do all this, right? You allow this woman to come in and take a wrecking ball to your family. You move to her, to her country, to her state. And so, Prince Harry, the heat is on you as well. But he made his bed, and he has to lie in it. Prince Harry, to me, he's a beta male. He's not a strong man, he won't stick up for her. He won't stand up to her. He won't stick up for his family. And he allowed her to go on. Oprah accused the family of racism, talking about her child's race. She had no evidence for that. It was quickly walked back. They've done tell all books. Everything here is a mess. And had they just stayed over there in the royal family like she married into eight years ago, she would still be loved and revered to some extent. Right? But she blew it. This is literally a Guinness World record calamity to go from being British royalty to selling flower sprinkles and wickless candles. I've never seen someone fumble the bag so hard. If I married into British royalty, I would be over in the castle eating crumpets and scones with my feet up up singing Yankee Doodle Dandy. I would not come back to the United States to sell cheap little dinky products and hang out with the Kardashians. But you can take the girl out of California. You can't take the California reality star out of the girl. The last thing I want to say, there's a story in Page Six as well that they're being ditched by a lot of their A list friends. So most of their friends like Oprah. She has not been seen with Meghan Markle in years, Right? Obviously she did the famous sit down interview. I think a lot of their A list friends have ditched them because they know there's no substance there. I think Meghan Markle played in Oprah's face. I think she sold her a bunch of lies, in my opinion. She told her mistruths, she told her half truths to try and build a victim narrative. This was during the pandemic. This was during Black Lives Matter. But who during the pandemic when people were out of work, when people lost their jobs, when people were away from their families, scared and fear. Who wants to hear some spoiled brat duchess complain about her time in the royal family? I'm so sorry you had to suffer and be in the royal family, sweetheart. I'm so sorry you got to live the fantasy millions of girls wish for every single day. I'm sorry you had to go to ribbon cuttings. I'm sorry you had to do a little cookbook. I'm sorry you had to wear fancy outfits and show up at charity events and go on trips that were paid for. So I'm so sorry to you. But that's when I think a lot of A list people started to turn off to Meghan Markle. And I don't think a lot of the Kardashians even want anything to do with her anymore, which is kind of when you've hit a new low. When the Kardashians don't even like you, you're kind of Persona non grata. So we'll be tracking all of this, but it's just interesting to think back to their wedding and the past eight years and how someone goes from having it all to blowing it now. Unlike Meghan Markle, I don't have any flower sprinkles to sell you, but we do got to pay some bills. We have to pay some bills. We have a quick 60 second ad and then we are right back this spring. While the mayoral race in Los Angeles is heating up, Spencer Pratt has caught national attention. And I'm going to tell you why I think Spencer Pratt has caught such attention, right? I have seen his work ethic. He knows how to hustle. I met him. We're friends online, we've hung out in person. I really believe he could do positive change for Los Angeles. He could make real positive change. Is he perfect? No. Was he a reality television star villain? Of course. But what you have been doing in California has not been working. The fire hydrants did not have water. Okay. Karen Bass was off in Africa and Ghana on some eat, Pray, love walkabout journey as the Pacific Palisades were burning to the ground. Nithya Raman, the other woman, Ramen Noodles, whatever her name is, she apparently wants to ban backyard barbecues and ban people from barbecuing. That's not Americana. That's not American culture. You want to ban people from barbecuing. Karen Bass in the middle, her big policy she wants to do, she wants to buy homeless meth heads new teeth. She wants taxpayers to pay for new veneers so they can get Joe Biden big Chiclet teeth. So it's not really going to help rehabilitate them. It's not actually going to help them find jobs or get off the street or off of drugs. But they will be walking around with big smiles that the Mars Rover can see. So that's Karen Bass's genius idea. But this is all they have. I mean, in Los Angeles right now, in Los Angeles right now, they are paying for illegal migrants to get sex change operations. That's not fake. That's not made up. If you had to explain that to someone from 100 years ago, could you imagine that? Could you imagine explaining to someone a hundred years ago, someday your tax dollars will pay for an illegal migrant criminal to get new double Ds, okay? To get new Double D tits. And I'm sorry if my mom's Bible study is watching, but we're getting a little bit spicy today. That's what's going on in California. It is easier for an illegal migrant to get a sex change on taxpayer dime than getting a permit to rebuild your home after the Fox. And so what does California, what do the people of Los Angeles have to lose giving Spencer Pratt a chance? Give the guy a chance, and if he fails, if he runs the city into the ground, if he does something terribly oust him. But what do you have to lose? And he's really brought together this coalition of Democrats, Independents, Republicans, people from all across the political spectrum, because in our core, we're Americans. We want common sense. I think 80% of the country, we want common sense. And then you got about 20% who are cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs crazy sitting at home on blue sky reading this liberal, deranged filth. So most of us want common sense. We don't want our taxpayers going to illegal migrants getting sex changes. Gavin Newsom just spent hundreds of millions of dollars giving inmates new iPads. So I guess they can watch inappropriate content and surf online. I guess the inmates are gonna have a great time with their new iPads. But kids can barely read or write in school, so teachers are using their own money to pay for notebooks for the students and pencils as well. So I really think giving Spencer Prout a chance, obviously, do what you want in Los Angeles, but you have nothing to lose. Now, someone who's really called him out, someone who's really called Spencer Pratt out is Chelsea Handler for some reason. Now, Chelsea Handler, she used to have a show on E called Chelsea. Lately, growing up, I actually watched the show. I thought Chelsea Handler was somewhat funny, but then she went woke and the Trump derangement syndrome set in, and she basically become a shrill, insufferable liberal. Let's take a listen to Chelsea Handler's video. Oh, hi. If you're seeing this video, this is a reminder that a straight white male, former reality star that has no previous experience in government should not be a legitimate political candidate. Have we learned anything yet? The bar is on the floor, people, and I need you to jump over it. Okay? Thank you. Have a nice day. So Chelsea Handler, who has no funny jokes, she must have blackmail on people in the industry because she keeps getting booked. There's no humor here. There's nothing funny. She's not excellent. She's attacking Spencer Pratt for being a straight white male. That's where you lost me. I don't care if Spencer Prout is black, Asian, Hispanic male, female cyborg, cyclops. I don't give a rat's ass, okay? What I want, okay? If I'm a Los Angeles resident, I want the fire hydrants to have water. I want the schools to work and actually educate our children. I want the school system to be bolstered. I want to be able to take kids to the park. Okay? If you're a parent out there, you want to be able to take your kids to the park and not have needles and crack pipes and hobos and illegal criminals walking around. People want common sense. And the reason Spencer Proud has caught so much attention is because he's walking around with his phone and he's saying, look at that. Look at that. And where your tax dollars are going. Sex changes for illegal migrants. If you're a Venezuelan gang member with a teardrop tattoo, you can get a sex change in two seconds in California. But if you want to rebuild your house, it ain't going to happen. And so Chelsea Handler, she's basically become this just insufferable, shrill woman. There's no talent there. And what I find so hypocritical. And I'm going back into the archives, she's attacking Spencer Pratt for being a straight white male. Chelsea Handler would not have a career if it weren't for straight white males. Okay? Basically, the reason she got her show on E. Let's not forget she was sleeping with the head of the network. She slept around in the business. She slept her way to the middle. She got a TV show. The TV show wasn't great. That's the end of the story. Now we're all stuck dealing with her. But let's not act like you're this puritanical woman sitting there on your high horse and you hate straight white men. You wouldn't have a career without them. You would not have a career without them. So I know Chelsea Handler might have lost some brain cells, you know, from being down on her knees, breathing through her nose. But it's time to wake up, sweetheart. And Chelsea Handler has done such damage. Every time Chelsea Handler does a video, she's drinking, she's attacking the nuclear family. It's not that. She just doesn't have kids. If you don't have kids, I don't shame anyone for not having kids. My gay ass doesn't have kids, right? But Chelsea Handler, everything she does is about how her life is better without kids, how women can be happier. Children. What kind of message is that to send? Right? What kind of message is that to send to women that basically go out, get an abortion willy nilly, stop off here. Have promiscuous sex with random rappers? That's Chelsea Handler's message. And so I don't think she was expecting to just get pummeled the way she did by people within her own industry, because Spencer Pratt has the support of a lot of entertainers, people Chelsea Handler is friends with. And so Chelsea Handler, it's really sad to see what she's become. But it's how this woke mind virus. Virus just infects people. It's why some of us. I know people watching this. You've had to lose family members because of how insane and deranged they become in their politics. So if you start your sentence with, he's a straight white male, you're gonna have to do better than that. The last thing I'll say, Spencer Pratt was caught on camera eating out at a restaurant, and this went viral. For some reason, Karen Bass and Nithya Ramen's followers are attacking him, saying, look, he's. He's out at a restaurant, he's busing his own table. He's probably eating out at a restaurant because his home kitchen burned to the ground because of Karen Bass's leadership. So I just don't understand what arguments Karen Bass has left. You're attacking him for being out at a restaurant with his wife. It's like they attacked him for staying in a hotel sometimes. His home burned down to the ground. It's nothing. There are people who burned alive in their homes. There are senior citizens who lost their homes, and it's all they had. So when they make fun of Spencer Pratt and try to catch him on camera, I don't get it. It doesn't make sense to me. I don't think people in California have anything to lose voting for Spencer Pratt and giving him a chance. I think trust, then verify. If he gets into office and it doesn't go great, then you can call him out and make some changes. The last thing I want to say is this. First Lady Melania Trump, she is doing such impactful work in Washington, D.C. one thing about me, I get really tired with how vitriolic politics become. Politics has become so partisan, it's almost impossible to get legislation passed because the left might just vote against it because they don't like it, even if it benefits young people, even if it benefits children. And so yesterday in the House of Representatives, First Lady Melania Trump passed her Fostering the Future Act. Now, as you guys know, I have followed the first lady for years. I've traveled with her. I've covered so many of her events. I've covered her Fostering the Future events and initiatives for a long time. So this was a day of celebration for all of us who support her work. And there are people coming out of the woodwork on the left saying, listen, we might be hardcore Democrats, but when it comes to protecting children, we love it. We love it. And so I love the fact that she's doing meaningful bipartisan work because children, they're not Republican or Democrat. And it sucks. It absolutely sucks when children have to bear the repercussions and the consequences of partisan politics and adults fighting. And so yesterday was such a celebration that it passed the House, it's on to the Senate. Because children, they don't know the political world. They are just children. They should be able to live healthy, happy lives and have their innocence. And what the Fostering the Future act does, if you look into the fine print, it really bolsters young people in the foster care system, gives them more resources, more access to new technology and education that they need in 2026. And then as people phase out of the foster care system, very often they don't have the tools they need to go out into the world. Almost nobody who's in the foster care system bouncing around makes their way to a four year university, to college, to a trade school. And so the Fostering the Future act is really going to help that. The last thing I'll say, there hasn't been a lot of overhaul in the foster care system since 1999. So the fact that the first lady got this done in Washington D.C. where there's so often a gridlock and a stalemate, kudos to her. We got to pay some bills really quickly and then we are right back with our last few hotels. Hot Topics. Have you gotten caught up in the red light mask craze but you just don't see results? It's because those masks don't work because, well, they can't work compared to what doctors use, most of those masks are helplessly underpowered. The red light therapy that's actually proven to work is from light stim. It's made in the USA and has sold over 60,000 devices to dermatologists, cosmetic surgeons and estheticians. Guessing your red light mask brand can't say that. The best part is this. You can actually have a light stim at home. Now I have the light stem ellipsa and love it. I get the same anti aging technology my doctor uses. But right at home I could see and feel the difference almost immediately. It's FDA proven to reduce wrinkles on the entire face. Medical grade means it works. It stimulates natural collagen and elastin production. It's totally affordable and saves a fortune in doctor visits. If you want the same medical grade technology at home that doctors use to treat wrinkles and slow aging teaching, go to LightSTEM spelled out light S-T-I-M.com use my code link to save 10%. Okay, this Thursday is Stephen Colbert's last show. As you might recall, Stephen Colbert was running a 40 million dollar deficit on his program. If you and I lost our employers $0.40, $40, we would have been fired on the spot. But because he's part of this liberal elite media establishment, he gets to keep his job. Everything's hunky dory for him. The reason Stephen Colbert lost his audience is because he became a partisan hack. Long gone are the days of Johnny Carson, of a Walter Cronkite, of people who really had late night chops to deliver the news, to be comedic, to be funny. Like SN back in the day, SNL back in the day, before I was born, probably. They would poke fun at both sides of the aisle, right? You can't be too precious. You can't live in a glass house. Stephen Colbert, he basically became a shill for the pharmaceutical companies, for his advertisers. All he did was attack Donald Trump. You don't have to love Donald Trump. It's a free country. There are people watching this who love him, people who don't love him. People in between, that's fine. That's fine. We have free speech in the First Amendment. But when your entire show becomes trashing, trashing, trashing, and there's no humor and you've got dozens of writers and producers and a huge staff, and this is the best they can come up with. Bye. Bye. See you later. You're gonna be off the air now for one of his final shows, either tonight or tomorrow. He's also gonna have Bruce Springsteen on. So he's basically doing a who's who of people who hate conservatives and hate Republicans and hate Donald Trump. So it's basically just gonna be a walking sort of carnival of people who absolutely hate the president. Stephen Colbert is not even trying to hide it at this point. Point. And I'm sure because he's part of that liberal elite, he will find a soft landing spot. I'm sure he'll have another job lined up. I'm sure he does already. He might try to hack it in podcasting, but I think these people struggle. And people like Stephen Colbert go from cable news and go from television with a huge staff and 100 producers and writers and teams in hair and makeup, and they try to come to the Internet like us, and they really have to sit here willy nilly raw and speak from the heart and be themselves and win people over. It doesn't go so well. It does not go so well for Stephen Colbert. And so we won't be missing Stephen Colbert, and he is being sent off to retirement. But we have one last story we have to discuss. Someone we've never talked about on this show is Angelina Jolie. Okay. I was thinking about Angelina Jolie last week when I saw those pictures of Demi Moore. When I saw Demi Moore and how hungry and emaciated she looked, I thought, Angelina Jolie is two minutes away from adopting her. You know, I'm saying there was a period of time Angelina Jolie would fly over a country and would just snatch up a kid on the way home. Kind of like Madonna, kind of like Charlize Theron. And it's nice. Give these kids a home, adopt them. Give them a life they could never have. But this story is very interesting. So Page Six is reporting that Zahara Jolie Pitt is moving on in life. She's starting a new chapter. So she's graduating from Spelman College. She graduated over the weekend, and when she took the stage to accept her diploma, she was announced as Zahara Marley Jolie, leaving out the pit from her last name. Now she got her bachelor's of arts in psychology. She's 21 years old, but several other children apparently in the family have also dropped Pitt from their last name. Isn't this interesting? Now, I have some theories on this. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, they got married. There was a lot of controversy around their marriage because if you recall, Jennifer Aniston, she kind of got left in the lurch. It was kind of a dicey situation. They were doing photo shoots. As soon as they got together, they started adopting children, having children. That house became so full. That house became so full. I don't think a man, if I'm thinking about Brad Pitt, a man does not want to be overrun in his own home. We saw this with the Kardashians, okay? Bruce was living in that house with all those hairy women. Kim, Khloe, Kourtney Kendall, Kylie, Kris Jenner, the camera crews, the personal chefs, the trainers, all of the chaos. What did Bruce Jenner do? He finally snapped and said, I'm going to move to a hilltop in Malibu and put on size 14 heels and get a sex change. Bruce then became Caitlyn because he was overrun in his own home. It's why When a man comes home from work, when a man comes home from work, the last thing they want to be is nagged with a thousand different questions. Okay, master of their domain, Seinfeld reference. You gotta give men their own space. I think Brad Pitt, some folks say there are stories of abuse, allegations of abuse. He might have had a temper at one point and flipped out. If I was living in the house with all of these kids in 10,000 different languages I can't understand and all their toys and crap everywhere. I don't care how big the house is. I don't care if it's a 20,000 square foot compound. I don't care if it's that compound. Meghan Markle keeps her kids on like Children of the Corn, like Gypsy Rose Blanchard. There's no house big enough for this many kids, and you can't even converse with some of them. I mean, Brad Pitt's probably at home, home, trying to unwind. He gets home from set and there are kids running around, like, speaking click languages and like, I don't want to be overrun in my house. I don't want to be overrun. And so I'm not surprised they got a divorce. Obviously, he's in charge of his own life. He went along with all of this. But there are folks who believe in sources who believe Angelina Jolie was always the one pushing this further, pushing this further, pushing this further. And you can see Brad has not gone on to adopt more kids after her. He's not, you know, trying to build the United nations at home. You know what I'm saying? So Brad Pitt, I think he got overrun in his own house. I heard years ago from a woman who believed and had strong reason to believe Angelina Jolie really was trying to turn the kids against Brad. She didn't really want the kids close with them. She wanted to be the one in control. And I'm sure there are folks who love Angelina Jolie. She's a great humanitarian and yada, yada, yada, and she loves to go over to these countries. I can't pronounce, you know, we're going to give them water and all. That's great, great. Good for her. However, I think when you get married quickly and then you fill the house with a bunch of kids from all around the world, a man is going to feel overrun. He's going to feel emasculated in some ways. Right? Suddenly, he's getting no attention at all. But that's on him. He went along with it. And so when we see that the kids are starting to drop the pit last name, I do believe part of it is Angelina Ginning. All of up. I might get eviscerated in the comments. You know, I love to hear from you guys and read your comments, but I just couldn't imagine being in that house with all the different languages and the kids. No, no. Okay. That house probably sounds like a gas station in Calcutta. Like, no, it's too much. It's too freaking much. But you made your bed. You have to lie in it. So we'll be covering the story a little bit further. I think more is starting to trickle out as the kids become. Become adults. But unless your father gives you a really, really compelling reason to drop his last name and take your mom's. I don't know. I don't really like it. I don't like it because I do believe in sort of the order. I'm more traditional in that sense. And unless he's really done something terrible, so absolutely terrible, I think that's your dad. That's your dad. And so I also don't think a parent, whether mom or dad, should be boiled down to one bad moment or two bad moments. Right. There are stories where Brad Pitt apparently flipped out on a plane and had some anger issues and had an outburst. Does that mean everything he's done is eradicated and erased? Does that mean he's Persona non grata? Does that mean he's not father of the year and he's a terrible person. Parents aren't perfect. And so I will be covering the story a little bit more because as more of these kids start to drop their last name, I just find it a little weird. Well, my friends, thanks so much for tuning in to Spot on with link Lauren, our 100th episode. Where has the time gone? I absolutely love all of you. I can't wait to read your comments. Anna Wintour’s Lazy Assistant, Meghan Markle’s Anniversary Stunt & Angelina Jolie’s Weird Parenting
Host: Link Lauren (MK Media)
Date: May 20, 2026
In this milestone 100th episode, Link Lauren delivers his signature blend of sharp, sometimes cheeky, cultural and political commentary. He dissects a viral moment with Vogue’s Anna Wintour, critiques Meghan Markle’s latest PR moves, and dives into the drama of Angelina Jolie’s parenting and her children’s distancing from Brad Pitt. Along the way, he tracks the LA mayoral race (starring Spencer Pratt), roasts late-night TV’s demise, and spotlights Melania Trump’s foster care advocacy, all with biting humor and unapologetic candor.

([04:07])
"I hate how society treats people when they get into their 60s, 70s, 80s, as if they should just be...discarded?"
([06:12])

([16:10])
“Let this be a cautionary tale…If you marry well, if you have a good job…don’t tempt luck, don’t test fate. Have gratitude for where you are.”
([16:53])
“If I married into British royalty, I would be over in the castle eating crumpets and scones with my feet up singing Yankee Doodle Dandy.”
([18:19])
“There’s a story in Page Six as well that they’re being ditched by a lot of their A-list friends…When the Kardashians don’t even like you, you’re kind of persona non grata.”

“He knows how to hustle…I really believe he could do positive change for Los Angeles…What you have been doing in California has not been working. The fire hydrants did not have water.”
([22:35])
“Karen Bass wants to buy homeless meth heads new teeth…not actually going to help them get jobs or get off drugs. But they will be walking around with big smiles that the Mars Rover can see.”
([23:25])
“It is easier for an illegal migrant to get a sex change on taxpayer dime than getting a permit to rebuild your home after the fox [fire].”
([24:12])
“If you start your sentence with, ‘he's a straight white male,’ you're gonna have to do better than that.”

On Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt:
"There’s no house big enough for this many kids, and you can’t even converse with some of them...like, speaking click languages." ([35:45])
Wry jab:
“The print industry is going down. You can’t get good assistants. You can’t get good interns. Basically, there are layoffs. People are being cut. So Anna Wintour has to go out there and get her own coffee.” ([08:36])
On influencer culture:
“Meghan Markle...always just wanted to be an influencer. She probably thought in the back of her head, we’re gonna get married, and I’m gonna plot and get us to move back to Los Angeles.” ([17:10])
