Well, my friends, welcome back to Spoton with Link Lauren. We have so much to discuss today. We have my friend Dan Wooten joining us in the second half of the show. He is a royal expert. He's an expert on UK politics. You've probably seen his show or heard his show. DAN wooten, Outspoken we have a lot to discuss regarding Meghan Markle. The royal family are Harry and Meghan being stripped of their title. So we'll get into all of that in the second half of the show. But in the first part, we're going to, we gotta do some political news. The political world is melting down. It's an utter calamity. But first we have to start with President Trump because by the time you watch this or listen to this, he should be home from the NATO summit. But basically he dominated the NATO summit, so much so that they were calling him daddy. But 24 hours before, when he was leaving the White House, he was dropping F bombs because sometimes when you are Daddy, that's what you have to do. You have to remind people who the hell you are. We have a clip. Let's take a look.
Dan Wootton
We have, we basically have two countries that have been fighting so long and so hard that they don't know what the fuck they're doing. Do you understand that?
Link Lauren
I love this. It reminded me of that scene from Stepbrothers where the two kids are fighting. You had John C. Reilly, you had Will Ferrell. They're fighting, they're duking it out. And the mom's going, what the f is going on? So President Trump had to come in and say they don't know what the f they're doing. And he had to lay down the law. He has to open a can of whoop ass sometimes because he is the president of the United States, he's the of the free world, and we are the folks who all these other countries look to, right? President Trump has to come in and clean messes that he did not even start in the first place. And we saw that when he got into office on January 20. They said, what are you going to do about the Ukraine war? Why can't you get Zelensky and Putin to the table? What's going on? That war was started in February of 2022. That was President Joe Biden's war. President Trump is doing what he can to end it and solve the situation. But President Trump also had to take out some aggression on the fake news, cnn, msnbc, because they've been running with this story. Iran nuclear facilities were not obliterated, right? The facilities are fine. I don't know how that's the case when you're dropping a dozen 30,000 pound bombs on them. Something would tell me that the nuclear facilities are not hunky dory. But here's what he had to say about the fake news.
Dan Wootton
I think it's been completely demolished. I think the reason we're here is because Those pilots, those B2 pilots, did an unbelievable job. And you know, the fake news, like CNN in particular, they're trying to, you know, they're trying to say, well, I agree that it was destroyed, but maybe not that destroyed. You know what they're doing, they're really hurting great pilots that put their lives in the line. CNN is scum and so is msdnc. I think CNN ought to apologize to the pilots of the B2s. I think that Ms. DNC ought to apologize. I think these guys really, these networks and these cable networks are real losers. You really are. You're real losers. Gutless losers. I say that to CNN because I watch it. I have no choice. I got to watch that garbage. It's all garbage. It's all fake news. But I think CNN is a gutless group of people. And the people that run it, nobody even knows it's been sold so many times. But the people that run it ought to be ashamed.
Link Lauren
I couldn't agree more. Anytime I turn on the mainstream media, especially msnbc, it's like they're living in an alternate universe. So when he's calling them gutless losers. They are gutless losers, and they're also losers because their ratings are in the gut and nobody wants to watch them anymore because they betrayed the will and the trust of the American people. You can only lie to the American people so much and gaslight them so much, at some point, they're going to turn your networks off. But then President Trump, he hopped on a plane, he flew to the Hague and the Netherlands to go to the NATO summit. And he was so effective that even the NATO chief was calling him Daddy. And here's what President Trump had to say about being called daddy by the NATO chief.
Discover Announcer
Mark Rutter, the NATO chief, who is your friend. He called you Daddy earlier. Do you regard your NATO allies as kind of children?
Link Lauren
No.
Dan Wootton
He likes me. I think he likes me. If he doesn't, I'll let you know. I'll come back and I'll hit him hard, okay? He did. He did it very affectionately. Daddy. You're my daddy.
Link Lauren
My favorite part of that clip is Secretary Marco Rubio in the background losing it. I'm someone who loses it, too, okay? I laugh easily. I'd like to have a good time. But, yes, he basically is Daddy right now. He's trying to bring world peace. He's trying to get deals done. He's got NATO chipping in and paying their fair share. I think they're adding a trillion dollars in defense spending, which they've needed to do for a long time. A lot of folks might not remember, but back in President Trump's first term, he really laid down the law at NATO and said, look, we're paying all of this. It's time for you guys to step up and pay your part. So he really is Daddy right now. I feel so silly saying it, but President Trump, they're calling him daddy, these grown men, and he's loving it. He's reacting to it. And Secretary Marco Rub is also losing it, which I find hilarious. But someone else who's also losing it in a different way is Congressman Al Green. Not to be confused with Al Green, the R and B singer. Let's stay together. We can't pay for the copyright. Still can't pay for the copyright. But Al Green is introducing articles of impeachment again. If you remember, he introduced articles of impeachment, I believe President Trump's first week in office. But here's what he's doing right? The House of Representatives vote to impeach President Trump failed 344 to 79, with 128 Democrats joining all 216 Republicans to kill the measure. I also have to say this. You know, in the last episode we discussed how Ariana Grande and Alexandria Ocasio Cortez were calling for President Trump to be impeached. Turns out foreign policy expert Ariana Grande was not so effective. In fact, she's a total loser. And as I said, she needs to go have an almond or two almonds cuz it's a cheat day and calm down and come back to reality. But this is all the Democrats have, right? All the Democrats have left is trying to get President Trump impeached. They have no identity, they have no policies. They're not interested in actually working for their constituents, the taxpaying citizens in their districts or in their states. All they have left is Trump derangement syndrome and trying to get him impeached. And did they not learn on the campaign trail that the lawfare, the indictments shooting at President Trump, which was horrific, none of it worked. It made him stronger, it emboldened him. It brought the country together to say, you know what we want nothing to do with these whack ass Democrats who are losing it and going crazy. Why are you introducing articles of impeachment? This makes absolutely no sense, but it's because you guys have nothing going on. Now someone else who also has nothing going on is a woman over in Ireland named Rosie o' Donnell. You might remember Rosie o' Donnell. Okay, if you don't know who Rosie o' Donnell is, go Google and get back to me. I am glad it seems that her herpes has cleared up. If you remember, Rosie ODonnells had a little herpes scare, a herpes situation, which of course she. Well, now she is blaming President Trump for her depression and her other health issues. We have this clip from an interview she did with Chris Cuomo. Take a look. During his first go round. It was very difficult and I got myself into some bad places. You know, I was very, very depressed. I was overeating. I was over drinking. I was, you know, I was so depressed, Chris, I can't, you know, it, it hurt my heart that America believed the lies about him. And then it broke my heart to be in a business that creates and sells those lies for profit. Rosie o' donnell, you are a joke. You're blaming President Trump for the fact that you're drunk, overweight and depressed. What are you liberals going to do when President Trump is no longer in office? What are you going to do come January 2029 when we have a new president? It might be JD Bance, it might be Rubio, it might be someone else. But what are you lib gonna do because you're blaming President Trump for the fact that you're overweight, drunk, depressed and have all these health issues. I think that might be you, Rosie ODonnell. I think that might be you. And when we look at your daughter, how many times has Rosie ODonnell's daughter been arrested for drugs and crime and meth? Allegedly. All of this bs. Maybe she should go worry about her family. ROSIE o' donnell maybe stop calling into American shows from Ireland and go take care of your children and be a mother. Go be a mother to your kids, you disgusting Rosie o' DONNELL. How about that? But I'm glad that cleared up. You don't have as many cold sores as you used to. But Chris Cuomo, you must be really desperate for ratings if you're having Rosie o' Donnell on from Ireland. Rosie o' donnell, who fled the country because she was so scared of President Trump, even though she's a very wealthy, high profile celebrity. That is who Rosie o' Donnell is. And I actually met Rosie o' Donnell years ago. I went to go see Hamilton on Broadway, which is one of the most overrated shows you've ever seen. And I had the privilege and the fortune of going backstage after the show. Well, I go backstage and there's this woman lurking to my mother, I said, that's Rosie o' Donnell. I need a picture with Rosie o' Donnell. So maybe we'll put it in after the show. But Rosie o' Donnell, she's basically descending into absurdity. She's losing it. She's over in Ireland calling into American shows to say that President Trump is the reason she's overweight, drunk and depressed. And I don't know what her excuse was her entire life before President Trump. I don't know what her excuse is going to be come January 2029 when President Trump is gone. But all of these liberals, and we've seen this with the no kings protest, their whole identity right now, all their issues and everything that ails them in life, they're blaming on President Trump. They have no culpability or responsibility for anything in their own lives. It's going to be a long three and a half years. We're only six months in to the presidency now. Something else we have to do in this episode is crown utter calamity of the week and utter calamity of the week. It's not going to Rosie o' donnell. It's not going to her it is going to. None other than Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett could be President Crockett someday if the Democrats have their way. Apparently she's the leader now of the Democrat Party, which I couldn't be happier about. If this is the leader and the future of the Democrat Party, this uncouth, ridiculous woman who curses like a sailor every second of the day, she thinks she's Popeye. Well, good, good luck to you. I can't wait to see her in a debate because when she's actually pressed on the issues and she actually is questioned, she's not going to do so well. So let me read you a little bit about Jasmine Crockett. Right? So she's losing her mind right now because she wasn't briefed on the strikes in Iran. And this clip has been going viral. Everybody's discussing this online. Why would President Trump consult Jasmine Crockett on high level military strikes in Iran? Would he have Jasmine Crockett in the Situation Room? Imagine they're in the Situation Room. You got Dan Cain, joint head of the Joint Chiefs, you've got, you know, Secretary Hegseth, you've got Marco Rubio, you got everybody in there. Oh, Jasmine Crockett's at the table as well. Jasmine, should we drop the 30,000 pound bombs on Fordo or should we not? Jasmine, please let's hear all of your intelligence because you're so smart, Jasmine Crockett. But let's take a look at this clip and then discuss.
Jasmine Crockett
But I wanted to jump on because obviously has been bombs, missiles, all kinds of stuff. And to be clear, I've still not gotten any type of briefing. So just so y' all know, nobody's tried to call us in for a top secret briefing at all as whole sitting members of Congress. But, you know, whatever. So, so I wanted to make sure that y' all knew that. So unfortunately, my information is not any more advanced than the information that you're getting whether you're watching TV or if you're on social media. And to understand enough about the Constitution to the extent that I'm the one that's supposed to make the fucking decision or at least get a vote.
Link Lauren
Jasmine Crockett, I would not call you to change a tire to change a light bulb if I was in a crisis. So why would President Trump call you about his high level, top secret military actions in the Middle East? Okay, you're not going to be in the Situation Room. I think I have a higher probability of making it into the Situation Room than Jasmine Crockett. You Uncouth, ridiculous clown. I think Jasmine Crockett, she wants to be on Bad Girls Club. Does anybody know that show Bad Girls Club? It seems like she's auditioning to be a Real Housewife. She wants to be an influencer. That's what these folks want to do. Jasmine Crockett is not interested in working. Like most Democrats in Congress, she doesn't want to work. She wants to twerk. Okay? They want to twerk. They don't want to work. She twerks. She don't want to work.
Discover Announcer
Okay?
Link Lauren
That is Jasmine Crockett, okay? She wants to post these videos. Dancing down the halls, doing a little one, two, step Watusi. The Democrats want to break out into song on the House floor. They're not interested in actually working. So the fact that she's cursing, like, why the hell did they not effing call me about the drone strikes in Iran? Who would call you? Why would anybody call you? When you can find Iran on a map, then we'll talk. When you can find Iran on a map, Jasmine Crockett, we will discuss and have a conversation. Be happy to have you on here, Jasmine Crockett. But I have to point out too, Jasmine Crockett, the reason she's utter calamity of the week is because she is a performative theater kid. That is who she is. She is putting on this caricature and this character she thinks she needs to do in order to get views and likes and attention. But we have a clip of her beforehand. Let's take a look at this clip and notice her accent is not there.
Jasmine Crockett
Absolutely. First of all, it's good to see you in the new year. You know, no one could have told me that when I went down to Austin. Now looks like a little bit over a year ago that I would be running for Congress. It's just not what my plan was. But what I've always decided is that I would step up when there was a need.
Link Lauren
Man, where did Jasmine Crockett's accent go? It's as if she got more famous and got more likes and got more attention, acting more and more outrageous. So when you get attention and likes and comments for acting outrageous and speaking in this really performative put on way, this really affected way, you're going to keep going down that rabbit hole. I would respect Jasmine Crockett more if she wasn't constantly cursing like a sailor, waving her arms and acting like she's auditioning for Bad Girls Club or the Real Housewives. That is what I would respect. And Jasmine Crockett can she get anything done? Is she actually accomplishing things for her constituents? I wouldn't mind the theatricality and all the kookiness if you're actually working and making life better for your constituents. But it seems her whole identity is she's going to be the Trump resistance and she's going to be the big TikTok star because everybody's into social media and that's who Jasmine Crockett's going to be. But she's not actually interested in doing any real work. So we'll be monitoring Jasmine Crockett. Actually, we might have to do a new segment called Crockett's Corner and keep up with all the insanity that comes out of Jasmine Crockett's mouth. And I know what people are going to say. They're going to say there's a double standard. President Trump just dropped an F bomb. Jasmine Crockett, why can't she drop an F bomb? The difference is a well placed F bomb every once in a while lets people know who you are. It is effective. Jasmine Crockett cursing every single day on social media and cursing like a sailor and acting insane like an unhinged theater kid in dire need of attention. That is uncouth, it's embarrassing, and it's unbecoming of a member of Congress. So, Jasmine Crockett, we wish you well, but we have to move on. This episode is brought to you by Masa Chips. Did you know that chips and fries used to be cooked in tallow? Up until the 1990s when big corporations switched to cheap, processed seed oils. But today, seed oils make up 20% of the average American's daily calories. And recent studies have linked seed oils to metabolic health issues and inflammation in the body. Masa decided to do something about it. They created a tasty and delicious tortilla chip with just three ingredients and no seed oil. Just organic corn, sea salt, and 100% grass fed beef tallow. Well, my friends, I could not be more excited for this next guest. You've seen me on his show several times. He's been on the Megyn Kel, an icon and a legend. He's one of my go to people for UK Politics. For royal news. We're going to discuss the ex royals. That is none other than Dan Wootton, the host of Dan Wooten Outspoken. If you've been on YouTube at all, you've probably seen him. Dan, thank you for being here. How are you doing, my friend?
Discover Announcer
Oh my God, I'm so excited to be on Spot on because Link, I am a regular viewer. I'm absolutely loving the show. I think it's so brilliant. Like you, Maureen, Megan, it's like you're my American consumption now. I absolutely love it. So congratulations because I was such a big supporter of yours before you launched your show, obviously. But I think it's the perfect vehicle for you. So I'm so happy to be here.
Link Lauren
Thank you. Thank you so much. No pressure. I better be good when I discuss, you know, US politics if we're the go to. I also have to say congratulations on getting engaged. Your engagement picture was getting like gazillions of hits. You guys are this like hot little couple. I told my producer, let's put the picture up. So congratulations on your engagement and your soon to be husband. I can't wait to meet you guys sometime. When I come to the uk, you've.
Discover Announcer
Got to come to London and we'll have a night out. Okay. And a lot.
Link Lauren
Yes, that'll be a night out. That's not appropriate for the Internet, but okay. I want to dive right in because I did a show on Monday where I said, this is a Meghan Markle free zone. We're doing a moratorium on Meghan on Monday. I just want to give people a breather because on Wednesday we're going to be doing a deep dive and we have a lot of hot topics of what's happening this week with Meghan and the Royals. But I wanted to go back to the start with you because you probably get this comment a lot, as I do on social media. They say you're just a hater. You hate on Meghan Markle. You never liked her. But for me, I remember getting up at 2am here in the States in, you know, the summer of 2018 to watch her marriage, her wedding to Prince Harry, right? I supported her. We were all excited. Who's this American girl? She says she came from nothing. She's marrying into the royal family. We all supported her. And so for you, tell me about when Meghan Markle came onto your radar. Maybe it was 2016 and where things went awry.
Discover Announcer
You were completely right, Link, because firstly, I'd never heard of this woman. She wasn't a big star. She had been desperate to make it in the uk, but I literally had never heard of her. I wasn't a suits viewer, okay? So I did not know her. But when she entered the royal family, I would say I was a supporter. I mean, all of my articles and everything from that time are available to read on the Internet. I certainly wasn't a hater. I wasn't out to get her in any way. And in fact, I remember being with Megan Kelly in Windsor for the wedding and we were celebrating, right? Like it was a really exciting, brilliant day in British history. One of those days when the country stopped and there was a genuine positive warmth. The whole country was behind her racism. God, get over it. There wasn't. It just wasn't even a thing. But after the wedding, what I started to realize is that the British mainstream media were not reporting the truth about what was going on behind the scenes. And I guess even when I was working in the mainstream media, because at that point I was the executive editor of the sun newspaper, the big Rupert Murdoch tabloid newspaper. And I was like, hang on a moment. Like the late Queen, Queen Elizabeth II is hating on this woman. Prince William and Catherine cannot stand this woman. Why is no one reporting it? And you know what it was, Link? Everyone was so worried because Prince Harry had put the racism thing out there right from start. Well, I'm fearless when it comes to that. Type of bullshit. So I was like, no, no, I've got to go with this. I've got to go with what my sources are telling me. I know that it's right. And so my first stories, and this was really revealing to the world what was really going on in the Royal family, because at that point, everyone thought it was some type of rosy fairy tale. And my first big story was what became known as Tiara Gate. And that was all about the fact that the late Queen had said, no, no, no, Megan, you cannot have that tiara. And she'd actually called up Prince Harry and said, your wife or your future wife. Because this was before the wedding. This had all happened, by the way, before the wedding. It wasn't reported until about six months after the wedding. Your future wife has been acting appallingly, sought her out effectively. And then. And this is the one that obviously became much more significant. Catherine, the Princess of Wales, had fallen out with Megan Marle because of the way the Duchess of Sussex was speaking to her staff at Kensington Palace. Now, we know from Harry's own autobiography now that that was just the tip of the iceberg. But to begin with, no one really wanted to follow up. Everyone was just a bit like, oh, that's Dan Wootton. He's not a member of the royal rota. We can just ignore him, right? He's tabloid scum. You know, that sort of thing. Like, we don't have to follow him up. But of course, course, within a few weeks, everyone knew that it was the truth, because the Daily Telegraph reported on the fact that Meghan had made Catherine cry at that famous bridesmaid fitting. And then all bets were off. And so, for me, it was never genuinely. Even though now I certainly have a real opinion on Meghan Markle. Like, I think she is truly a nefarious force and I think she wants to bring down the British Royal family. And I am a monarchist, so absolutely now I have very strong feelings on this woman. When I was reporting on her and breaking all of these stories about her time within the Royal family, it did not come from any place of personal malice. It just came from a place of. I'm a journalist, I report the truth. This is all going on. People can call me racist if they want, but I'm not. I'm just reporting the truth, Right?
Link Lauren
Absolutely. Well, it's sort of like here in the States, they call you racist, transphobic, xenophobic, if you express any view, even if it's the view of the 80, 90%. Right. I don't Want men and women's sports?
Discover Announcer
You're a trans code hunter, homophobic all the time. Do you? I'm like, how does. How does that work?
Link Lauren
Oh, I have that whole conversation coming up. I said the other day, I don't really relate to the gay community anymore. I don't feel like I'm a part of all that. Oh, the people were not happy. But no, I understand exactly what you're saying, because with Meghan Markle, we all supported her. And so people now, they say, you're such a hater. You're using her for views and all this. First off, she loves the attention. But where we really turned on her in the States was when she did that interview with Oprah at the height of the pandemic where people had lost their jobs, people had lost their lives. They were stuck, stuck inside. They're really struggling. Harry and Meghan decided to sit down in a mansion that was not their own. I believe it was Rob Lowe's house they may have borrowed for the afternoon. They do this interview with Oprah to complain about how unhappy they were in the Royal Family. And everybody is at home on lockdown. You know, I don't try to get their jobs back. And she's complaining about how miserable she was in the Royal Family. And she accused the Royal Family of racism. Right. Of talking about the skin color of her unborn child. She provided no evidence. Prince Harry sort of walked it back. It was very squirrely. And it was just very obvious to everyone. This is not the woman that we all rallied behind in 16, 17 and 18. And we were so excited for her to be in the Royal Family. So for us, we're just covering these stories and we're all told for years. Don't believe the bullying allegations. Don't believe the bullying stories. Where there's smoke, there's fire. Dan, don't you feel like that you've been in the news business for a while?
Discover Announcer
Yeah, I mean, look, I am a big believer. An innocent until proven guilty and due process and all of that type of stuff. But remember, this is now a transatlantic bullying scandal. So to begin with, Meghan was like, oh, no. This was just to do with the sensibilities. Like, she tried to make out that British people were just really lazy and just couldn't deal with the fact that she was sending emails at 5am in the morning. But it's like, hello, what about all of your staff in California who are now in rehab? This has been reported by, like, the Hollywood Reporter and Vanity Fair. These were publications who were behind you. So the thing is, this is not an ordinary celebrity we're dealing with. Like, I've dealt with celebrities for decades, right? They're all pretty horrible in a lot of ways, but this is someone who actually bullies her staff to the point of serious mental health crisis. Like, I'm in touch with members of the Sussex Survivors Club. You know, that's what the staff members who worked with her during her time in the British Royal Family now refer to themselves as. Well, that's becoming a pretty big club link because this is something that follows Meghan wherever she goes. And I feel like she was very, very manipulative because she believed that what she was going to be able to do to Americans was be like, like, these are the horrible Brits. Racist. They don't understand me. They never wanted it to work. But when you look at her track record since moving to America, it's actually been more disastrous. Like she's even fallen out with Ari Emanuel. It's like, this is the most powerful guy in Hollywood who actually is maybe the only person who could have turned around your car crash career. You've even fallen out with him. Like, like, basically the only person she's hasn't fallen out with, right, is Ted Sarandos. Ted Sarandos is currently keeping Megan Marle afloat. But you know, I've got my own reporting on this, which is that she has really tapped into the fact that Ted Sarandos has a black wife and that they're in an interracial marriage. And she again, has been really manipulative and almost played on that. Like she took Ted Sarandos and his mixed race wife to the Beyonce concert, for example. So. So I'm very much more in the camp of, of like Bill Simmons at Spotify. You're a fucking grifter. Do you know what I mean? It's like our eyes have been open. But in my reporting link, I actually have also spoken to a lot of people who knew Meghan and worked with Megan before she was with Prince Harry. And what's so fascinating is this has always been her way. Like I spoke to a director of one of her sort of really crappy, like, sort of, you know, B grade movies. She used to do these movies like in the hiatus between seasons of Suits, right? And this guy, he's a lovely guy, really lovely guy, good guy. And he honestly said to me, dan, I have never worked with an actor who was more difficult than her. Her demands were outrageous. Her treatment of the crew was completely outrageous. She demanded first class flights linked between Europe and London that didn't even exist. Like, there is no first class between European cities in London. There's only business class. And when she didn't get those business class flights because they weren't good enough for her, she demanded a private jet. It's like, this is a low budget movie. Who do you think you are? So the point that I'm trying to make is that this is not something that just happened once Meghan entered the royal family. And again, I think that really adds weight to these arguments that actually this is a very twisted individual who is prepared to throw human beings under the bus, who treats people who she considers below her or who she feels she doesn't need. Not just like in a bit of a negative manner, but appallingly, absolutely appallingly. So. So, you know, as someone like Lady Colin Campbell would say, she is a malignant narcissist. And. And as a result, you've got so many people who have these horror stories.
Link Lauren
Oh, my God, we must be speaking telepathically. I was about to say she's a malignant narcissist. That is the term we all use to describe the Duchess of Scamalot, the Duchess of Waffle House, Meghan Markle. But no, we've been reporting on the same stories, Dan. She hired all this new staff. First off, why does she need like a deputy press secretary, communications director? Like, the president doesn't have that much staff. You know, like when I'm at the White House, he doesn't have that many people around here. Why does Meghan markle need like 30 people to feel so self important and she can't even keep that stat? I think we do need a new reality show. I don't know if you guys have this show Survivor in the UK or you have, I'm a celebrity, get me out of here. We need like surviving Markle for like the staff members who flee in the middle of the night. Like, I'm a staffer. Get me out of here. I'm surviving Meghan Markle. But speaking of the actual real royals, who we love, and my audience knows, even if I don't get the names right all the time or I don't say the perfect thing. I have such reverence for the monarch, for the monarchy, and I love the Queen and I love everyone. So forgive me if I don't say everything perfectly, but there was this story in the New York Post the other day about how Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are going to have no role when Prince William becomes King. And he's already planning this out. And it's really not so much that he said they are not going to have roles, he's just not mentioning them at all. There's just a moratorium on them. Tell me what you think is going to happen when Prince William ascends and takes the throne.
Discover Announcer
Oh, no, it will be active. It won't just be, I'm ignoring this. It will be, your titles are stripped, you are gone, you are banished. He doesn't even want Harry at his coronation. I mean that is extraordinary. That shows you how far things have fallen. I don't think there is a way back, I really don't. I guess you never know. You never know what's going to happen. Will a divorce change things? Maybe. But remember Prince William set Harry these very, very clear red lines and he crossed every single one of them. Him.
Link Lauren
Right.
Discover Announcer
And the one for him, Link, that was so personal was Catherine. It was like, do not come for my wife in spare. And what did he do? He came for Catherine. And so there's no going back. William is a very strong minded guy, you know, he's not someone you want to mess with, he's not someone you want to cross. And I'm not saying that he's horrible because he's certainly not. He's actually a very kind and caring person and staff love working for him him Link and are loyal to him. You know, like he has all of his former staff members still advising him, still in the WhatsApp, they respect this guy. But you also don't want to cross him. You know, he can be very tough, very fiery and Harry had so many chances and he threw them all away. But the thing that's been most astonishing for me over the past couple of weeks is that Prince Harry is so deluded that he genuinely believes that he can raise his two children. Archie and Lily bet in the United States, say that it's far too unsafe for them to ever return to the United Kingdom. Actually like sort of use them as a pawn so that poor King Charles, who is suffering from this terrible incurable cancer, has no relationship with two out of his five grandchildren and then genuinely believe that they are going to have a royal role like Harry. Harry has briefed to the left wing Guardian newspaper that he wants to leave that option open for Archie and Lily bit that one day they could just walk in as like these Californian teenagers at 18 years old and say, give me a job, William. It's not going to happen. Now no one blames these two poor children. I Mean, I was listening to Maureen Callahan the other day predict that she thinks, you know, eventually these two will move as far away from Harry and Meghan as possible. And that's certainly a possibility. I mean, if I were them, I would grow up. And I think, oh, my God, like, you stole the opportunity for me to live history. You stole the opportunity for me to meet and spend time with the greatest monarch that has ever lived in Queen Elizabeth ii. It's certainly possible. But look, William has absolutely no intention of allowing Archie and Lilibet back into the fold at the moment. Based on where his head is at, all of their HRH titles will be stripped. So Harry will lose his hrh, Meghan will lose his hrh, Archie will lose the hrh, Lily will lose the hrh. And the reason that will be given is that he wants to slim down the. But really, this is a lot about personal vengeance. His hatred, hatred for Megan, and I do not use that word lightly. You know, that's a big word to use. But his hatred for Megan is overwhelming. But his complete disgust at his own brother is actually something that probably eats away at him even more now. I do agree with the reporting that says he talks a lot less about this now because you know what it's like, Link. Time is a healer for everything. Like, of course, you never get over something like losing your brother altogether, but you accept it. And obviously, in the past year, his focus has been holy. I nearly lost my wife. Like, Catherine nearly died. Like, that's how bad things were. So all of a sudden, all of the dramas with Harry were insignificant to him because he was totally worried about Catherine. That was his number one priority. But also he was the main caregiver to the three children for a period, too, while also having to do quite a lot of royal work, because Charles was obvious, obviously, off the stage. So I don't think he's going to forgive Harry. You never know what's going to happen. But, like, in terms of the marriage. But I think it's very, very unlikely. There's a way back.
Link Lauren
Absolutely. I think my take on it is Prince Harry is probably obsessed with Prince William and what's going on in the uk, and he's just stewing over it in the mansion in Montecito. Seems like Prince William, his life has gone on. He's busy with Catherine, he's busy with the kids, he's busy with his royal engagements, his duties, his father. He has all this going on, on. He really probably just isn't thinking about Harry that much anymore. And time has passed. They left the Royal Family, I believe, in 2020, right before the pandemic. Harry and Meghan, you know, absconded to California to stay at Tyler Perry's house. And Tyler Perry doesn't seem to be doing so well right now. But they left five years ago. And I imagine Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's kids are going to Google themselves someday, maybe when they get into middle school or high school, and they're gonna go, oh, we're royalty. You didn't tell. Tell us we're in the house with Doria Ragland and, you know, playing in the yard. We could have been royals. You know what I'm saying? Those kids are gonna be so pissed Sunday. If I grew up. It's almost like, oh, what was that movie where she was kept inside or the kid was kept inside or something? It's like you're gonna Google yourself. Was it room or something? You're gonna Google yourself or like a Gypsy Rose Blanchard. She's gonna, like, discover she can walk. It's gonna be like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's kids are going to discover we're Roy Realty. You assholes didn't tell us. Oh, my God.
Discover Announcer
Because the thing is, even if they love being in America, like, there's absolutely no reason. I'm not going to bore you with all of the details about the security case, right? But just trust me. There is no reason for Harry not to bring the children to the United Kingdom. He is throwing the almighty strop. And it's just pathetic.
Link Lauren
It's so pathetic. And you know, Prince Harry, for him to say he doesn't feel safe in the uk he can't bring his kids back to the uk, but then he's going around, like, ringing doorbells and random neighborhoods and knocking on doors. What was that about? Was he looking for a hookup? Was he looking for a. What's it called when you pick up drugs? See, I'm such a goody two shoes. It was, you know, he was looking for something and so pretty for him to see.
Discover Announcer
Wired. He looked wide. And it's like, if you're so concerned about your security, what are you doing cruising up and down a very dangerous street in central London? That was odd. And the thing is, some people have sympathy for Harry. I don't, to be honest. I think he's acted appallingly. But he's not in a good place. Place Link. Like, he's not in a good place at all. This is a guy who has been ravaged by drink and drug addiction over many years. And you're so right to say that actually his life is completely stuck in the past because he hasn't done anything. He hasn't done anything. Like Spotify literally were like, do you want to do this? Do you want to do this? Do you want to do that? He. He doesn't know what working is because he's never had to work. He's just a guy who likes to show up at events and shake hands, but not. It's. It's like, that's not going to get you paid $100 million a year. And the thing that I've found so devastating for him over the past couple of weeks I've spoken about both of these on my show is that there were two media organizations who have been staying loyal to Harry and Meghan, and they were People magazine and Us Weekly.
Link Lauren
Right.
Discover Announcer
And I care about the stuff. I know you care about the stuff, too, because I used to be, you know, in the tabloid media, and it's like those two magazines are like the two, two last great surviving American tabloids. And the new editor of Us Weekly is a guy called Dan Wakeford, who used to be the editor of People magazine. And he has basically gone to Us Weekly and said, harry and Meghan, we're going to be your champions. We're going to be your supporters. And we're sort of competing with People magazine. Right. So they're competing against each other. But in the last two weeks, both People magazine and Us Weekly have turned on Harry and Meghan with covers that are pro. Well, People did a Pro Kate cover, and it was like, she's poised and she looks amazing. She's the queen and waiting. And then just today, Us Weekly has released a Pro William cover. And I read it and it's like, oh, I know they're trying to spin this in a positive way for Harry, but what they're effectively saying is like, William is totally focused on his duties as king, and he's like, planning all of this stuff. And. And Harry basically has done nothing, nothing since. Since coming to. To the US So I find it really fascinating that even the media allies that they once had have had to realize sort of like, oh, God, we backed the wrong horse here.
Link Lauren
Absolutely. I mean, Harry and Megan are radioactive. Everything they touch turns to crap. I understand. Understand Ted Sarandos and Netflix are trying to help them and push their career along with as ever. And they're probably recycling the old footage, but everything they try to do goes. Goes down the tubes. And then you have William and Catherine who have the highest popularity and favorability in all of these polls. People love them. You go on social media, the videos have millions and millions of views. There are young people discovering William and Catherine who don't even know much about the royal family. They don't know the history at all. But they're just falling in love with them as characters in the public sphere. But we got to pay some bills, okay? And after we pay some bills, we'll be back with some more Hot Topics. You guys, let me tell you a story about a guy named Leo Grillo. While on a road trip, Leo came across a Doberman. It's up to availability.org well, we are back with my friend Dan Wootton, the host of Dan Wooten Outspoken, my go to source for everything on UK politics, politics on the royals, on the ex Royals. If you heard the first part of our conversation, basically the consensus is Harry and Meghan have nothing going on. William and Catherine are beloved and thriving and just living it up in the uk but something we have to discuss is a trend and a theme that we've talked about a lot on this show and on social media, and that is Meghan Markle whoring out the kids now for attention. And I hate to use that word, but she's basically hawking these kids on social media because she can't generate press or pray on her own. And she continues to post these videos of Lily Bet. First off, I can't stand that she named her Lily Bet. You did not respect the Queen. The Queen is no longer here. And now this little girl who's never stepped foot in the UK to my knowledge, has the name Lily bet. But on June 23, the Duchess of Sussex, 43 years old, she posted a video promoting her new brand using her four year old daughter as a cameo in order to get press and attention. Don't you feel as they become more desperate, we're going to see these kids like the Kardashians never showed their kids. Northwest was never going to be on the show and now they use the kids constantly because people want to see them. Dan, isn't this going to be what we have to deal with for years to come?
Discover Announcer
Oh, totally. Well, I've got a bit of the inside story on how this all happened link which you might be interested in. So earlier this year, Meghan and Harry were at the Invictus Games in Canada and Megan was stealing all of the attention. And the organizers of the Invictus Games were really, actually genuinely furious about it because it was was the Megan show and no one was talking about the athletes and she was just turning the whole games into a complete disaster, like everything she touches. So it was sort of suggested to Hagen that she left the Invictus Games early. And she did. But guess what? She went home and did when she was a little bit annoyed with Harry, she put up the first ever Instagram video revealing Archie and Lilibet. Okay, not their faces, but the back of their heads to the world. And at that point, Harry wasn't keen on this because obviously he's made his whole sort of weird passion project about how evil social media is. But Meghan, it was the beginning of what was clearly going to be the pimping out of these children for money, the commercialization of these children. So it's this weird compromise and it's a Harry insisted compromise where they don't show their entire faces. They. But it's like, why? This is weird. This is pathetic. It just makes you look odd. But of course, now we just get the flurry of like she's put up Lily bit with a jelly cat bag, knowing full well that jelly cat is a kids brand that is associated with Catherine and William because she's such a weird stalker. And the other thing is, I did a real, really deep dive analysis into this awful, awful interview she did with Emma Greeday recently. And I, I, I, I, I, I know you've been across this too, but she basically said to Emma, greedy. Oh, you know, I, I wasn't really comfortable when, you know, other people were making money from affiliate sales and things my children were wearing. It's like, where do you get off? You literally are selling cloth Charlotte wore so that you get affiliate sales off the back of it. But I thought that answer was so telling because it's like, sorry, what? Royal or even an A list celebrity. Like, would you ever hear Madonna or Brad Pitt or George Clooney or Tom Cruise talk about affiliate sales based on their children's clothing? It's like, you are desperate, you are cheap, you are tacky, you just need the money and unfortunately it's going to be the kids. Interestingly, she seems far more fond of Lilibet than Archie. She's a bit of a feminine. She's all very much like, oh, yeah, I don't want Archie growing up hating women. You know, that's when we hear about Archie. But with Lilibet, it's like, oh, yeah, one day I'd like to form a business with her. Like, she's very obsessed with the whole Tina Knowles, Beyonce, unhealthy mother, daughter, competitive relationship. And you're just like, oh, yeah, that's coming, that's coming. But so, yeah, the children are being pimped out. There's no other way of putting it. We'll end up seeing their places, I am sure, because at some point brands are going to be like, this is weird. And also you are public figures. Like, unless you want to lock these children up like Rapunzel in your Montecito mansion, eventually you're going to have to take them out. Like, are you, are they ever going to attend the Invictus Games? Are they ever going to enter the United Kingdom? If so, they will be seen. But again, this was her bizarre sort of way of like slowly edging Harry into something that she has always wanted to do. Because when you look at the big picture link, right, Meghan Markle is a social media influencer. That's all she has ever been. And actually it's all she's ever wanted to be. Like, she was never that keen on the acting thing, but she loved the Tig, which was very much her mid naughty, sort of Pinterest style influencer site, where she got lots of free clothes and she got to turn up to New York Fashion Week and, like, appear on local. Local tv. And that was what she liked. You know, freebies. And what's so fascinating to me is she hasn't kept up with the new trends in social media. Like she said to Emigrida, oh, yeah, it's all about authenticity. You know, you've just got to tell the truth. And I'm like, you are literally the least authentic celebrity in the world. Like, everything you say is scripted. Everything you say goes through your massive phalanx of staff. And then she pointed to the twerking video. You know, that the hospital twerking horror, as if that was a great example of authenticity. And it's like, actually all anyone looked at when they saw that video was, firstly, like, your bump looks so weird and so fake, and secondly, like, this is just cringe and awful. This is not actually a moment that we want to be with you for.
Link Lauren
No, I. I am still violently ill from watching the twerking pregnancy video. And I was never a conspiracy theorist. I'm really the least conspiracy conspiratorial person. I'm really quite boring. So I never believed all the, oh, it was a fake baby bumper is this and that. I never paid too much mind to it. But when I saw this video and had so many women writing me and nurses and doctors saying, the last thing you want to do, the last thing you want to do when you're about to pop a baby out is twerk and drop it low. Like Sierra doing a one, two step. But speaking of doing a one, two step, you brought up Tina Knowles, Beyonce's mom, who Meghan Markle is really trying to buddy up to right now. She's trying to get close to Tina Knowles. I will say she couldn't get Beyonce on her podcast, but she got her mom. It's like you can't, like, you know, at least get Chris jitter. But I will say, if Lily Bet shows any signs of having rhythm, she's going to be pimping her out to do an album and a tour. Mark my words, dad.
Discover Announcer
Totally. I mean, that just like the Beckhams. I mean, you know, there's this big feud going on between the Beckhams and Marshals at the moment. And, like, the Markles have sided with Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Paltz in this family feud, but they're just like the Begums. I'm actually not a big fan of the Begums because I always thought it was so vile the way that they wanted to pimp out their children. I'm like, why you've got so much money? Like, just let these kids grow up. And what did you do? You created a total nightmare in this dude Brooklyn, who literally has no talent. I mean, I once saw him on the Today show, you know, with Hoda, and he couldn't even cook a bacon sandwich. Like, this is not a talented guy. He shouldn't be in the public eye. But you have created a monster. And I absolutely see Megan doing the same thing with Lily, as you say. But this is where there's this real battle with Harry. But Harry, she's been very clever because, you know, she is a manipulative woman. She knows what she's doing. And because she's basically said, oh, yeah, Harry, you just go and focus on your philanthropy, which is basically not doing much, not making much money. Now he gets paid to fly to China to give a soulless speech about climate change and then flies back on a private jet, you know, but. And earn $750,000. But that's really the extent of his work these days. So she now has the power in that marriage, which is all she wanted. So she has the power to now say to Harry, oh, I know you're. But against, you know, making Lily famous, but we need the money. You know, Netflix want to do a series. This is cute. So I can absolutely see them going down that path. I mean, I remember the Beckham's, like, desperately trying to turn Cru Beckham into Justin Bieber. And they even got Scooter Braun involved. I think there's something very odd and very weird with a couple that has become famous and then are so desperate to make their children celebrities, like, just allow them to grow up. But obviously with Meghan and Harry, it also comes with all of the weirdness of the fact that they told the world that they were going to Montecito, that they were moving to California to create. Create an oasis of privacy and calm. So this is the thing. Their public statements never actually match up with their actions. And people see through that.
Link Lauren
No, absolutely. It's like here I always say every accusation is an admission of your own guilt or what you're doing. Right? When they're accusing someone else of doing something or whoring their kids out or being hungry for fame, we want privacy. Believe me. There's nothing Meghan Markle wants more than fame and attention and something else she brought up in that Aspire interview with Emma Grady, Greedy. Whatever the hell her name is.
Discover Announcer
She.
Link Lauren
She spoke about doing a lemonade stand with her daughter and teaching her about entrepreneurship and how to run a business. I just feel like she's dropping hints and kernels that she's going to be using this daughter for business. I think she's going to do a mommy daughter clothing line or something. I don't know why she didn't do a clothing line years ago when she actually had a little more clout. Now Meghan's kind of washed up. You know, she's trying to be a Kardashian real housewife sort of reality star. But something else she's doing. She's launching a rose. Apparently. Apparently what America needs is a Meghan Markle rose. But she was releasing it on the late Princess Diana's birthday. Now, Diana would have been 64 years old, I believe. Do you think this is deliberate, Dan? That she is releasing the rose, as ever, and she's going to use Princess Diana for attention. Like she has copied Diana's outfits for years and years and years in a very creepy way.
Discover Announcer
This is sick and twisted. But I know, I know that she did this on purpose because she got her team to leak the story to her favorite British magazine, hello Magazine, which I guess is the equivalent of people maybe like a little bit classier, but not that classy. And they ran this story as if it was like some great tribute. Like, Megan has this lovely connection with this woman who she wished she'd known. And so she's launching her rose on her birthday. Honestly, honestly, this one genuinely disgusted me. Like, sometimes I'm like, oh, yeah, part of the course. Meghan Markle's done something absolutely disgusting. But this one was a bit of a kick in the guts because I know that this is all about trying to upset Prince William and it's so, so low. Like, William made a deal with Harry a few years ago. It was around the 20th anniversary of his mother's death. And it was like, we are going to let her rest in peace at key moments. So we're not going to go public, public and for example, make anything of the death anniversary anymore. We're just not going to do that. And Harry went along with that and the fact that Megan would literally decide to launch her shitty rose. And we know, we just know Link from looking at the color of it, right? It already looks awful because it's almost like white, you know, like, rose is meant to be very crisp. And like, it just. I. You just know it's Going to taste terrible. Like, I'm all for Kylie Minogue, you know, one of my favorite pop stars. I like her rose Rose, not Meghan Markle's shitty rose. But don't use Diana's birthday and then try and commercialize that. It's so weird and creepy. But, you know, the whole Diana thing, though, link, is one of the things that I have struggled with most when it comes to Megan because she has been so twisted when it comes to Harry. Like, I revealed once that she told Harry it was actually Eugenie who repeated this, Princess Eugenie who repeated this. And she told Harry that she had been speaking to Princess Diana in her yoga class that morning and that they told Diana had told her it was the right thing, that we came to the United Kingdom, I think it was for the Platinum Jubilee. And it's like Harry buys into this. And so. And there's even. There's a moment in Spare as well, where, like, Megan's, like, talking to Diana's grave. It's like, we know what you're doing. The only person who doesn't see through this is Harry. And one day he will, and one day he'll feel very foolish, but by that point, it's too late. But, yeah, this, to me, was actually, like, her grossest PR stunt yet. And that is saying something, right? Because this is a. This is a woman who, like, has thrown her own father under the bus for publicity, for example. But to me, this was like the lowest of the low. It's like, this is Princess Diana's birthday. Princess Diana would be disgusted by you. Like, this idea that Harry always puts out. Oh, Diana would have loved Meghan. No, no, no, no. Because Diana. I was a huge fan of Diana. And her number one priority in life was providing William with the support system that he needs, needed to become king. And that support system was absolutely centered around Harry. So the fact that Harry not only completely neglected William, but then threw him under the bus, accused him of being a bully, accused him of being physically violent, like, you think Diana would be for that? No, you're not.
Link Lauren
Absolutely.
Discover Announcer
You're completely nuts. Diana would hate Meghan because. Just one thing I want to say about Diana, because sometimes people get this twisted, right? Because they say, oh, yeah, but Diana did the Panorama interview and everything. Yes, she did. Go back and watch it. Diana never attacked the royal family, not once. She attacked Charles. She attacked her husband. She didn't attack the Queen. She didn't attack the institution of monarchy. She didn't question whether the monarchy should exist. She attacked her husband and the men in gray suits at the palace who she believed were working on behalf of her husband. And she did say that she believed that the throne should pass directly to William. And that was because, you know, she thought, well, you know, Charles has got Camilla. And, you know, there used to be a time, didn't there, where, you know, I mean, look at what happened with the Duke of Windsor and Wallis Simpson. There was a time in the past that if you were to marry a divorcee, you were not able to stay on the throne. So there's a real difference between Diana and Meghan, because Meghan wants to destroy the monarchy. She wants to bring the monarchy down.
Link Lauren
No, absolutely. And Prince Harry does put out this narrative all the time that, oh, Mommy would have loved you, and if my mom were here, should have loved me. It's like, no, she would have seen Meghan Markle coming from a mile away, that she's a little huckster, grifter, wannabe California actress. Because Diana was born and raised in the UK to a successful, affluent, you know, noble family. Right.
Discover Announcer
She was an aristocrat, you know.
Link Lauren
Yeah, exactly.
Discover Announcer
She was an aristocrat. She was. She was part of that world. Even though she did become a celebr. And she loved celebrities in the end. I mean, she had her very dramatic friendships, you know, with Elton John and the like. But no, she. She was an aristocrat.
Link Lauren
Yeah. So, absolutely. I think she would have seen Meghan Markle coming from a million miles away. And I think that's the difference. I talk about a lot between Catherine, the Princess of Wales, and Megan, the Duchess of Sussex, even though she didn't even recognize Sussex Day. And I've spent more time in Sussex than she has. But we'll get to that in a second. It's. It's because I think Catherine. I don't think I know Catherine, because she was born and raised knowing and having reverence for the monarchy. She's never going to turn around and shank them or trash them. She understands that she is going to become queen someday. Her husband is going to become king, and they wear that weight on their shoulders, and that's how they carry themselves. Megan, you remember in the documentary, she's like, I didn't know I had to curtsy or I didn't know I had to do. She's so full of crap. She said it was like, Megan, medieval times or medieval games. Everything is a little dig at the monarchy in these institutions that have been around for eons and a gazillion years. But real quick, before we move on. What do you think about her not recognizing Sussex Day? Because how have I spent more hours in Sussex than the Duke and Duchess of Sussex? I went to Sussex. I saw that palace. I don't remember what the palace is called, but we did a tour of the palace. I went to the beach. There was no sand on the beach. It was a bunch of rocks. But I did enjoy my time in Sussex.
Discover Announcer
Welcome to the uk.
Link Lauren
Exactly.
Discover Announcer
But no, I. She doesn't give a damn. She hates the United Kingdom. Look, honestly, Meghan Markle hated her time here. And I'll tell you why she hated her time here. Because if you're a pampered sort of Hollywood celebrity who goes around to Soho Houses in the world, that's the type of lifestyle that you think is a. Is an appropriate one for a member of the Royal family. She's very nouveau reach. Do you know what I mean? She's very new money. It's like members of the Royal Family League. Honestly, they don't live in particular luxury. Like, if you go inside these palaces, right, a lot of them, especially the private quarters, are pretty old and creaky and quirky and they have amazing pieces of art and art of artifacts and that sort of thing. But it's not, you know, Meghan wants to be at the Sunset Marquee in Hollywood. You know, Meghan was at. Meghan wants a life where everything looks like Soho House. So she hates the United States Kingdom. She couldn't give a damn about Sussex or the people of Sussex. She's just obsessed with her title. She wants to keep on calling herself HRH when she sends her little gift baskets to friends. But in terms of the country, the Commonwealth, the monarchy, she hates us. She hates us. She doesn't give a damn.
Link Lauren
She is so nouveau riche, Louisiana, Hollywood. That is her idea of what it means to make it like going to school, Soho House and getting to use the back door or whatever, you know what I'm saying? Like, that is her idea. But the real royalty and people who've been in the game a long time, it's like they don't want all the cameras and the fanfare. They want to get in, get out. Like, a few years ago, I was on vacation and Princess Beatrice was actually at the table next to us, next to my family. She's in like a beach cover up, chilling, hanging out. She doesn't have, like any staff with her. She's with her friends. That is like the real royalty. People who are born and raised in the system. And then you have Meghan Mark Markle, who comes over and she. Her idea of fame and making it is that Soho House level fame. And then you go to Soho House, and it's kind of a dump, at least in New York. So that is Meghan Markle.
Discover Announcer
I think she's going to continue Worst People link the worst people. So, you know, you can be guaranteed if you go to a Soho House, you're going to find the most hateful people in the world.
Link Lauren
Yeah.
Discover Announcer
The fact that Harry sort of found Megan through solo house is, I think, a bit of an indictment.
Link Lauren
Yeah. She's also living in, like, 2002, where she thinks, like, Soho House is, like, the hot place to be. I don't know Meghan Markle. We don't need to get into all this.
Discover Announcer
She's so cheugy. Like, Meghan is so, like, you know, like, you know, has a. You know, those pink lights, you know, love life light. You know, Megan is like a walking, talking version of Pinterest. It's like, we've all moved on from that. We know that people don't have those types of lives. We know that you are nothing like the Persona that you put out. Like, we know know that. Just be real. Be authentic. You know, Megan could have done so many things that would have been successful. I mean, you know, Spotify link spent, like, about $2 million to install the studio in their house in Montecito.
Link Lauren
Right.
Discover Announcer
Megan should have just got her gal pals over and bitched, you know, done a proper podcast unseen. Not who she thinks that she is, but who she really is. It probably would have worked, but all of her output is so not her. It's so not what we know is her. And it's so dull as well, because it's that sort of fake. Like, oh, yeah, we really care about the little people, but actually we don't, because we just want to get drunk in our 16 bathroom mansions.
Link Lauren
Yes, absolutely. No, they're telling me we have to rap, but I could talk to you forever. I have to come back on your show. You have to come back on your show. You can tell I'm new to the game because I'm like, well, they're telling.
Discover Announcer
Me we got a rap.
Link Lauren
Okay. Very smooth ending. But the last thing I will say is Meghan Markle. The people who use the word authenticity all the time are the least authentic. But we can discuss that next time.
Discover Announcer
People who say that kind link. Anyone who says, like, anyone who has, like, if Megan was on Twitter, right. She would literally have hashtag, be kind. She'd also have, like, the pride flag. She'd have the Ukraine flag. You know, she'd have them all. And it's like those people, have you noticed, are like the nastiest trolls.
Link Lauren
Yes.
Discover Announcer
Anyone who says that they're kind and says they're authentic is definitely not. And, and honestly, as I say, I've covered a lot of celebrities in my time. She is the least kind, least authentic celebrity in the world. And that's why what you're doing is so great. I love your coverage of her because you just pull it to pieces, but in a fun way. You know, in a fun way, it's like, it's funny. She has turned herself into this. So anyway, I'm gonna, I'm gonna keep watching. Please don't stop. Don't do too many Megan Free.
Link Lauren
Thank you so much.
Discover Announcer
Yes.
Link Lauren
No, we can't do too many Megan Free zones because she gets the views and we got bills to pay. So thank you so much, Dan. I will see you soon. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Have a great night.
