Well, my friends, welcome back to Spot on with Link Lore. And you're probably wondering where I am. Why am I in a hotel? That is because yesterday I went as new media with President Trump to the US Open. I will be breaking down everything you need to know about the US Open. Obviously, I'm not a sports aficionado. You guys don't tune into me because I'm espn. But I do know a thing or two about President Trump. I got to ask him some interesting questions. It's always a privilege to get to speak to him. To travel on Air Force One is not something I take for granted. So I'm very, very grate for that opportunity. We of course have to talk about Catherine, the Princess of Wales. She's had a little bit of a makeover, but then she went back on the makeover. So we gotta discuss that. We have so many hot topics to get into. So stick around. We gotta pay some bills and then we'll be right back. I don't know about you, but after I travel, my skin is dry. That's when Peak's Radiant Skin Duo came to the rescue. This doctor recommended duo, trusted by experts like Dr. Mark Hyman, Dr. Jason Fung, and Dr. Will Cole, supports whole body wellness from the inside out. Well, the balls were flying yesterday at the US Open between Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz. Are you guys proud? Are you guys proud that I got those names correct? I had the best time at the US Open. The one thing I love about sports is that sports is a way for people to come together from the left, the right, the middle, all different socioeconomic backgrounds. They can come together under one roof to watch the people compete. There's something so kind of Grecian about it. Like they're in the Parthenon. They're fighting. They're gladiators. Of course, Carlos Alcaraz won. I was rooting for Yannick Sinner. Not by any sort of scientific basis or method or that I knew that much about tennis. I was rooting for Yannick Sinner because I have a penchant for redheads. You guys know I love redheads. Harry Potter, my favorite character was Ron Weasley. I love a good redhead, except for Prince Harry. He's a clown. So I love redheads. I loved him when he was an eligible redhead bachelor. And I love redheads in general. That was my calculation when I got the match. I said, I'm going to root for Jannik Sinner. But Carlos Alcaraz ended up winning and good for him. It was an incredible match. One thing they don't tell you about the US Open that I learned, when they start to play, it gets real quiet. You're not supposed to talk. You can hear a pin drop. I was quiet as a mouse. You guys. I am a talkative, chatty person. I sat there eating my $25 chicken tenders. Now, one thing about the chicken tenders. This was on my Instagram story and we'll put it up on the screen. One thing about the chicken tenders I had at the game, people waited in line. Okay, I went in line probably 45 minutes for these chicken tenders. You get there. They're probably the worst chicken tenders I've ever had. The worst chicken tenders and fries. $25 for three strips. $25 for three strips. That was at the U.S. open. But you might be wondering, why did I go to the US Open? So I went with President Trump. As you guys remember, a few months ago, I went to Texas with President Trump to cover the horrific devastation in the wake of the flooding in Kerrville. And it was an honor and a privilege to go back to my home state. Well, they reached out at the last minute and said, we have a new to go to the US Open. Would you like to come? And I, of course, said yes. I'm not in a position to say no. And so I went with President Trump in the press pool, from the White House and the White House staff to the U.S. open. And President Trump was actually the first president to attend the US Open in 25 years. The first sitting President to go in 25 years. He also goes to the Army Navy games, He goes to the Super Bowl. He goes to all types of sporting events. That's one thing I love about President Trump, because he knows the power of bringing people together under one roof. Okay. Whether it's throwing the football around, whether it's hitting the tennis ball, whether it's soccer, whether it's FIFA. He knows sports are a great unifier in our country. So it was a privilege to be there to cover the game with President Trump, to see Carlos Alcaraz win. Of course, Janik Sinner put up a big, big fight. So President Trump, he was in his box for most of the game. He had his staff there. He had Attorney General Pam Bondi, he had Dan Scavino, he had Caroline Levitt, he had Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, he has Treasury Secretary Scott Bessant. So we had friends and family with him right in the box. President Trump, I think he had a great time. He used to attend the US Open every single year. President Trump would go to the US Open every single year. And I think Page Six actually crowned him the King of the US Open because he would go so much. So it's interesting for him to go back now as President of the United States. And something I was curious about, sort of on a introspective, self reflective vibe. What is it like going back to some of these events you used to attend as a private citizen, now as President of the United States. And I actually asked President Trump about this on the tarmac at Joint Base Andrews last night. We have a clip. Let's take a look at that. Page six crowns you the king of the U.S. open. They put out all these old pictures through the years of you at the US Open. What does it mean for you to go Back after going for so many decades growing up in Queens, now you're going back as the president.
President Donald Trump
Well, I loved it. First of all, the two players have unbelievable talent. It just seemed that they hit the ball harder than I've ever seen before. Incredible talent. And I enjoyed it. And I used to go all the time, but you know, lately it's a little bit more difficult to go. I really enjoyed it. They were really nice. The fans were really nice. I didn't know what to expect. Usually you would say that would be a somewhat progressive, as they say nowadays, crowd. Sometimes some people would call it liberal, but we'll use the word they like to use progressive. But they were great. The bands were great.

Now there's been this big mishigos online, right? Was President Trump booed at the game? Were they booing him at the match? I actually didn't hear almost any booing. Of course, in New York City in 2025, when you put thousands of people in a room, you're gonna have some booing. We live in a partisan country. But when they put him on the screen once the stadium was full, there were a ton of cheers. I honestly felt like the folks in New York City maybe wanted President Trump to come to their neighborhood next. The way he's trying to help clean up Washington D.C. he might go to Chicago, he might go here next to. I felt like the folks in New York were saying, president Trump, come help us. What the hell is going on with Zora and Mamdani? We don't want a socialist and a communist coming into our city and running it into the ground. We don't want government owned grocery stores. So I felt like the folks cheering, it was really a cheer of desperation saying, please, President Trump come back. But it is interesting, you know, President Trump grew up in a house in Queens looking at the Manhattan skyline. He makes it in Manhattan, he then makes it to the presidency. He makes it to the presidency again, taking on Hillary Clinton. So this is a story for the ages. I don't think there are many folks in American history, world history, who have lived such colorful lives. So to see him at the US Open in person and to get to cover it is something I'm so grateful for, but something else we're seeing in the headlines today. Some folks are upset because there were long lines for security. Okay, there was some long security lines at the game because of Secret Service and the extra screenings. There were celebrities stuck in line. I heard that Michael J. Fox and maybe Anna Wintour was stuck in line for an hour, which Actually made me so happy. Okay. Anna Wintour with her annoying ass Bob and those big Chanel sunglasses. You can wait in line a little bit, sweetheart. You can wait in line a little bit, sweetheart. Michael J. Fox, these other actors and celebrities. I will say one thing that was funny about the US Open. So I got to see Dakota Fanning and Elle Fanning up close, and we were leaving, and I saw some other people. When they would put celebrities up on the screen, of course people would cheer. Some of these folks were not big stars. They put up DJ Mustard, who's like a rapper and a producer. They put him up on the screen. He's made some good songs. But the crowd was like, yeah, y' all don't know who DJ Mustard is. Okay. It was. It was not a crowd that I think could identify DJ Mustard. They put up Shonda Rhimes, right? Shonda Rhimes. I think she did Grey's Anatomy and How to Get Away with Murder. They put her up on the screen, and people are going crazy. I'm like, she's a screenwriter. She's a scriptwriter. Why are you guys going crazy for her on the screen? But no, there were some big stars. Jon Hamm was there. There's some other folks who were there. Jon Hamm, who was actually my first crush. So it's interesting how things come full circle as a child. My first crush, I think, when I became a teenager and was growing up was Jon Hamm. And so then to be at the US Open with Jon ha was very interesting and very funny. But no, the US Open was incredible. Of course, some folks are upset about the security lines, but here's my thing. President Trump, you had an assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13. You had Ryan Ruth in Florida who tried to take him out on the golf course, right? Who knows what other threats he's had? If you're going to have a big event, you got to show up early if the president is coming. I don't know who didn't tell you liberals in New York City. This. If the president is going to an event, you need to add an extra hour or so to get through security, because there are deranged people. There are deranged people out there. And look at the amount of presidents who have been hurt, who have been assassinated. They have to take those precautions, right? We don't want anything to happen to the president. And so, of course they have to take those precautions. But I did find it amusing, some of these celebrities that got caught in the security line, but someone else I Want to discuss moving on from the US Open a little bit. Is the first lady Melania Trump? As you guys know, I love the first lady, Melania Trump. I don't care if I sound partisan. I don't care if you guys say I'm a hack. I love the first lady of the United States. I feel like she's been so unfairly maligned by the mainstream media. We speak about it all the time. If you look at Vogue magazine, right, she was on the COVID of Vogue as a model, and she was on the COVID of Vogue before she was first Lady. But she's never had that first lady cover in the way Jill Biden and Michelle Obama have had covers of Vogue, even though Joe Biden dresses like a geriatric hooker and fishnets and booties and leather skirts. Okay, Joe Biden is an utter calamity. But nonetheless, Melania Trump. Do I think she cares that she hasn't been on the COVID of Vogue? No, I don't think she cares at all that she hasn't been on the COVID of Vogue. She seems very secure in herself. I don't think she cares whatsoever. But something she's doing that I think should be getting more attention. She's focusing on AI education. And we have all the notes here from this conference she held last week. So she hosted tech leaders and AI leaders from the administration, from the private sector to come together to talk about this 21st century issue, artificial intelligence. Okay, There are deep fakes online. There are folks using AI in school. I have so many friends who are school teachers, and they reach out to me and they say we have to figure out curriculum. How are we going to teach the kids when they could just go home, write an entire essay on ChatGPT and turn it in? What can we do for plagiarism? How can we make sure the kids are learning? And so there are a lot of schools now, I believe almost half the states. Texas, my home state, is not one of them. But I hope they catch up. They have legislation around AI in schools, and they're really focusing on it. And I think in the next year or two, with the first lady championing this issue, you will see more and more schools come to grips with the fact that AI is here to stay. The kids are using AI. They're growing up with AI. AI has amazing benefits, which the first lady, Melania Trump, has spoken about. But there are also downsides with any type of development. And it sort of reminds me, obviously, I don't really remember it, but y2k remember y2k, everyone thought the computers are going to shut down, things are going to crash, technology is going to come to an end, everything's going to be bad, we end up working with it. You know what I'm saying? There are folks who didn't want to do email. They thought email was scary. They didn't know how it worked. 99% of folks still don't know how email works, but we use it in our day to day to day lives. So you can either resist and fight this evolution or you can get on board. And one thing I love about the First Lady, Melania Trump, tackling AI, it's not your typical first lady initiative, right? Former first ladies, they might go plant a vegetable garden, they might tell you to do push ups, they might go on Ellen's show, they might go on Sesame Street. What I love about first lady Melania Trump, she's coming in saying we're tackling artificial intelligence, revenge porn, AI, deepfakes, all of this. Those are some interesting initiatives for a First lady to tackle. And I think it shows that she has her finger on the pulse of what's coming in the 21st century in the United States. We gotta compete with all these other countries when it comes to artificial intelligence. I believe it was important, I do think it was important for President Trump to host all of those tech leaders at the White House last week. Had Sergey Brin from Google, Mark Zuckerberg from Facebook, he had Bill Gates from Microsoft, and of course, some folks online were upset. Why are you dining right with Zuckerberg and Bill Gates? You gotta keep people close, okay? You gotta keep people close. We got these 21st century issues. You have to keep people close because we're gonna evolve with the times, right? And so it's nice to see these tech folks come to grips with the fact that the Republican Party is in power now. President Trump is in power now. We're gonna have midterms, we're gonna have a 2028 election. J.D. vance will probably be the nominee. There might be some competition, but it's interesting to see these tech folks come to the White House now and pay their respects and capitulate a little bit to President Trump and the Republican Party when they were so against it for so many years. It's interesting to see how the tide has turned. But I think also I know many of you are small business owners. You might shop at small businesses. It's tough. It's tough to run a small business in a blue state right now because of the legislation, because of the regulation. So you see folks from Silicon Valley and the tech world moving to red states, moving offices to Florida, to Texas. You know, they're all going to Miami. They're trying to get out of there. They're going to Tennessee because it is tough running a business in California. It's tough paying California taxes. The leadership is terrible in California. Your business could just burn down because there's no water in the fire hydrants. And Gavin Newsom is a clown. And so you see these tech folks, you see the first lady, Melania Trump, tackling artificial intelligence. I think it's an incredible initiative for her to tackle and I love that it's something interesting. It's not your typical first lady initiative. So we will be following that. I do have to break down though. Okay. Because this is spot on with Link Lauren, we have all the details, okay. On the outfit that the first lady wore for her event. First off, she looked incredible. Melania Trump, she's always going to look incredible. Shout out to her stylist, Herve Pierre. He's a legend and an icon, so we love him. But we have to read what she was wearing. So she had a beige linen pinstriped power suit, a structured, subtle post Labor Day style choice. Here's exactly what she wore. A Max Mara linen double breasted blazer set in beige. I love this. Okay. Some folks are writing, you know, Meghan Markle had tried to pull off this look before. Meghan Markle had tried a similar look, okay. With sort of the billowing pants. They're sort of thick pants. It's a power suit. Very sort of breaking gender norms and gender barriers. First lady Melania Trump pulled it off. Okay. It helps that she's a supermodel because when Meghan Markle tried to wear this similar outfit to the Time magazine event, it looked like she was wearing a potato sack. Okay. Her pants were ridiculous. It looks like she could jump out of a plane and fly with those things like a parachute. Okay. First lady Melania Trump, fashion icon, stunning, show stopping, iconic. So she looked great. Shout out to first lady Melania Trump. Shout out to her team. I'm excited to see what she does in the AI sector. I'm excited to see what she does when it comes to technology. And I almost wonder sometimes, just talking off the cuff here, that's what we do on these podcasts. I wonder because Barron Trump, they've spoken about how he's so into computers. He's into computers, he's into tech. So I wonder, as the mom, first lady Melania Trump, if she's picking up on some of that, if that's sort of what's drawn her in. I think also you have young women who are really being hurt, family wise, career wise, by revenge porn, by deepfakes, by AI. And so you have these women and I think First Lady Melania Trump feels for them, wants to help them. And I think she's had fake stuff come out about her. There are fake pictures that come every day and you're looking and going, is that AI? Is that real? Is that fake news? Is that something authentic? And so I'm excited to see where this goes. Shout out to First Lady Melania Trump and thank you to the White House for including me as new media. When I went a few months ago to Texas, I thought, I can be happy, I can be happy to get to go yesterday and cover the US Open and get to speak with President Trump, which we'll get to later in the show. I asked him a myriad of questions, substantive questions, so we'll get to some of those later on in the show. They're on my social media, but I'm incredibly, incredibly grateful to be included. I was making videos in my room on TikTok two years ago and so to get to be on Air Force One and asking the President questions. He is the free speech president. He is a transparent, accessible president and I am very, very grateful for that. It's also my birthday today, so to get to go yesterday to the US Open, it was a full moon. It was the eve of my birthday. I was happy about that. So I'm not going to lie, it was exciting to go and his team couldn't be better. But we got to move on to some more topics. Well, my friends, it is time for a royal roundup. It wouldn't be an episode of Spot on if we did not do a royal roundup because as you know, I love American politics. I love President Trump, I love covering President Trump. I also love the royals. Okay? I love the Queen, may she rest in peace. And today is actually the anniversary of her passing in September of 2022. It has been three years since the Queen passed away. It's also my birthday. But we love the Queen. Queen Elizabeth ii, she was just someone who carried herself with such grace. And she became queen at 25 years old. Imagine, at 20 years old, becoming the Queen of England, governing a Commonwealth with about 2 billion people. And there aren't many figures who stay in power that long. Right. She was in power, I believe, what, 75 years? She was there a long time. 70 years. And so for someone like her, she has lived through multiple eras. There aren't many folks who have gone through seeing social eras. You've seen justice eras, you've seen race, you've seen all of these issues come to the forefront. Almost every decade, there's some new major issues. She's seen technology evolve. I think about that all the time with the Queen, right. When she became queen at 25, television was way different. The media was way different. It was about the papers and photography wasn't the way it was. She has had to evolve with the times. And so that's why I think she's just one of the coolest women I know. People don't use that word all the time, but I think she's just cool. She had a cheeky sense of humor. She loved her family, she loved her country, she loved and revered the monarchy more than anybody, right? She is going to put the institution above all else. If she's tired, if she's sick, if there's strife, if. If there's tumult, if there's turmoil, using all my SAT words, but no Queen Elizabeth ii. The Queen was an icon. And just to live through all of that in power and to have to navigate just even the evolution. I mean, now we're just talking about artificial intelligence, computers, cell phones, 24.7news cycle, Twitter, social media. To live through all of that, right? From 25 years old, becoming queen and having to evolve, I will have nothing but respect for the Queen and may she rest in peace. We have to talk about someone else who is going to be queen maybe in a few years. We don't know. We love King Charles, but someone who is going to be queen someday is Catherine, the Princess of Wales. Now, there's been some confusion, right? Some folks refer to her as Kate Middleton. Every once in a while, we might refer to her as Kate Middleton. And people get upset here in the United States, a majority of the media, when they print about Catherine, the Princess of Wales, they say Kate Middleton, right? They say Kate Middleton because it's the biggest search term for her here in the United States. And it's how we were entered, introduced to her. So, you guys, if you see Kate Middleton every once in a while, just know I have nothing but love for Catherine, the Princess of Wales. And I'm happy to see that she's healthy. But the last week has been a roller coaster. Strap in. It was a roller coaster for her because Catherine, the Princess of Wales, she went blonde. She went blonde, a little bit blonde, and now she's back to being brunette. Okay? One thing about her, Catherine, the Princess of Wales, she's a fashion icon, right? When she puts something on, people are going to want to emulate it, they're going to want to copy it. It is going to sell like crazy. People are going to make knockoffs. But this blonde hair really caused a lot of stir. I was rooting for it, okay, Because I've seen this film before. To quote Taylor Swift, I think I've seen this film before. So she went blonde. And this is how it starts, you guys, you go a little blonder, you dip your toe and you think, oh, maybe I'll go a little bit blonde. Then you go a little more blonde. And then before you know it, you're Link Lauren blonde, okay? So before you know it, you're really darn blonde. And so Catherine, the Princess of Wales. She tried a little bit of blonde hair. Some folks said it could have been a wig. Of course, she's just come out of cancer. She's been very open and authentic about struggling to get back into the routine and to parent and to show up as a wife and a mother and as a public servant and public figure coming out of her cancer. And so I think it's incredible that she's open and authentic about that. But I love the blonde hair. People were hating on it. I thought, you know what? What? Let her try something fun. I think it's cool when people in the public eye try new things. They're not afraid to say, you know what? I've always wanted to try a little bit of blonde. Let's put it in my hair. And I thought it was cool. Was it my. Was it my shade of blonde? No, it wasn't super, super blonde, but it was pretty blonde. And what's interesting, though, is that she went to a rugby match and we have all this information, right? She goes to the rugby match, she debuts her typical gorgeous brunette hair. So the blonde hair lasted about 72 hours, you know what I'm saying? I was thinking about Kim Kardashian's marriage. Do y' all remember when K. Kardashian got married to Kris Humphries and everyone said, oh, my God, she's only been married 72 days? I was like, well, Catherine Sayer lasted 72 hours, okay? That blonde hair lasted 72 hours. So let me read you a little bit about exactly what she had going on, exactly what she was wearing, and she's back to her more brunette hair, okay? And thanks to my producer for putting this together, because she knows way more about sports than I do. In fact, I'm the one at the US Open. But she knows way more about sports, so putting the show together with her, her, it's such a blessing. Okay, so the Princess of Wales, she was pictured taking in the women's Rugby World cup on Saturday with what happened to be a darker do. This is how the British media writes, albeit tinged with muted golden undertones, pulled into a chic half ponytail. This was the Women's rugby World Cup 2025. And let me break down exactly what she wore, because I know you fashionistas. You want to know what she wore? Okay, I'll break it down for you. I'm like the new Joan Rivers, okay? Which is what you guys tell me. I would never say that about myself, but you guys are like, link, you're sort of Joan Rivers reincarnated Because I have no problem discussing fashion and politics in the UK with the royals. I will break it down. And am I in a position to really opine on fashion? No, I'm not. But I'm gonna do it anyway because I'm an expert on nothing, but I have opinions on everything. So here's what she wore. Cartier Trinity earrings, Alexander McQueen tailored crepe blazer in black, a natchbull cascade ruffle blouse and sand wash silk satin. I loved it. I loved the way it was kind of pulled in. I loved that it was black. I loved the blouse. Loved it, loved it, loved it. Felt powerful, it felt strong. It felt like she's the future queen, but modern, right? She's in this sort of modern suit, and I loved it. And it sort of reminded me of First Lady Melania Trump's outfit from the AI Education forum she held last week. She was in a suit, powerful suit. And I love when women do menswear because they're sort of of shaking up the paradigm, and it says something about where we are in our culture, right? When women do menswear. And there's a whole history of it. And so I'd love to see Catherine, the future Queen of England, in menswear, because this is not something you would have seen the former queen in. May she rest in peace. She had beautiful style and great, impeccable, classic chic style. But we have this modern queen who's going to be ascending with William in a few years perhaps. And so to see her in this type of outfit, it actually does mean a lot more than just superficial fashion. And I sound like Miranda Priestley from the Devil Wears Prada. You think this has nothing to do with you? You pulled this sweater out of some bin. You think this cerulean sweater has nothing to do with you when it has everything to do so, no, for me, I think it's very interesting to see the First Lady, Melania Trump, do menswear this week. You see Catherine, the Princess of Wales, the future Queen of England, doing menswear. It speaks to the culture of where we are in sort of this battle of the sexes and sort of this gender fight. I think it's very interesting. I think it's very, very interesting to see first lady and the future Queen of England doing menswear in the same week in this very powerful suits and then tackling big, important initiatives on their own. They're like, look, we don't need our husbands. We're smart, badass women on our own. First Lady Melania Trump, Catherine The Princess of Wales. And we're going to tackle these issues that are really important to us. So shout out to Catherine. Let's move on a little bit else. Okay, Prince William apparently wants to push Harry out now. Prince Harry just landed. By the time you watch this podcast or listen to it, maybe you're on a walk, maybe you're out in nature, maybe you're at work and you've got it playing in your headphones. So Prince Harry, he's in the UK to attend the well Child Awards. This is his first time in the UK since April when he lost his bid for taxpayer funded security protection. Why should we have to pay for this little huckster to have security? Sort of like Kamala Harris. Prince Harry reminds me of Kamala Harris. She wants all of us to just keep paying for her security even though she has millions of dollars in book deals and she's a Hollywood Hollywood celebrity. If Meghan Markle and Prince Harry got 100 million from Netflix, the folks over in the UK, working, paying their bills, paying their dues, should not have to pay for you to have private security. I'm sorry, call it what it is. Call me a common sense kind of guy. If you're making millions of bucks, you can hire a couple of security guards. And to be honest, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, people are running from you. They're not running towards you. So I think you are safe. But Prince Harry, he's back in the UK and he's not going to be meeting with Prince William, allegedly, as of right now. Now, we might come back to you on Wednesday's episode and say they met and they hugged and it was hunky dory. But we've been following this story because Prince William wants nothing to do with Prince Harry. Prince William respects the crown so much. Prince William knows he was born to be King of England. He was going to be king of a Commonwealth with 2 billion people. He doesn't have the luxury of effing around, okay? Because if he Fs around, he finds out Prince Harry, he has the luxury of being the spare and he gets to F around and have fun and go party and go do what he wants and gallivant around the globe. Prince William didn't have that luxury, right? He has to really carry himself in a certain way. And I think for Prince William, you can't even trust Prince Harry. You have one conversation with Prince Harry, it ends up in a book, it ends up on Oprah, it ends up on Netflix. Who wants to talk to that person? Imagine if you went and hung out with your brother or your sister and you had an argument. Right. I have a brother. We've gotten into arguments before. I'm sure we've gotten into arguments recently. Imagine if that person then went on the Internet and blasted you out there like a Kardashian on the reality show. Show. It's like this reality show royalty thing with Megan Markle and Prince Harry. They're not even royals anymore, in my opinion. I don't think they should be in line for the throne. Y' all don't live in the uk. Y' all don't work. Y' all don't do any public engagements for the crown. Why should you be in line of succession? And why should the kids be Archie and Lily Bet? Why are they in line? And nice try. Megan Markle naming the girl Lily Bet Diana. That couldn't have been more on the nose, but I don't think you should be in line either. So Prince Harry, I just don't think he is someone you can trust because Prince William, he can't play around with the press. He can have a conversation with Harry that's then recorded. What if they're wearing microphones and then it leaks and then it gets out? But let me read you a little bit more about what we uncovered. So Prince William, he's going to keep his younger brother, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle out of the monarchy, according to new insiders. We've discussed that. The rest of the family, Catherine, Charles, Camilla, they're set to go on their annual trip to Balmoral. However, it may not be a relaxing getaway as people have claimed. That talks occurring behind the scenes could cause a major impact on the monarchy's future. Listen to this quote. On the surface, it looks like a normal family holiday. But in reality, there are huge decisions being made that could change the family forever. The plan was for senior royals, the King, Queen William and Kate, plus a handful of trusted advisors to meet in private, away from the wider family. William feels the monarchy has to move forward with a smaller, tighter unit. He believes that means phasing out Harry and Meghan completely and stripping away the last traces of royal privilege, including their HRH titles and their children's titles. However, sources say Princess Catherine may not be fully on board. Let's listen to this. Catherine adores her husband and supports his vision, but she's torn. She's always been the peacemaker and doesn't want William's decision to burn bridges with Harry forever. This is the Catherine I know, right? It was always the three Musketeers. For those of you who followed the Royal family, it was always before Meghan came along, Harry, Catherine, William, they would do events together, they would go running together, they would do charities together. And so I think for Catherine, I believe she wants to be peacemaker. I believe she wants them to patch things up as brothers. She knows what family's about. She's very close with her family. She loves her sister Pippa. So I think for her, she's holding out hope. Maybe there's going to be some reconciliation. She's had health issues recently. Maybe she has a new lease on life and she wants the brothers to rekindle and reconnect. But I also agree with Prince William. They should not have their titles. I'm sorry, guys, you shouldn't have the title. If you live over in the UK hawking jams, jellies and dog biscuits, you aren't real royalty in my opinion. What a fall from grace for Meghan Markle too, okay? We talk about this all the time. She was a nothing actress, okay? She was a D list actress. She comes into the Royal family, she cons them into thinking she's this huge Hollywood starlet, like she's Julia Roberts, okay? She might have the same veneers as Julia Roberts, but she does not have the same acting chops. So Meghan Markle cons the Royal family into thinking she's this big Hollywood star. They embrace her, they welcome her with open arms, they throw her a massive wedding. They don't even work her too much, right? She didn't want to work, she wanted to twerk. She was lazy. But they didn't even make her do too many engagements. I think she did a cookbook with the folks from the Grinfell Fire. That was great. She did the cookbook, but she didn't do too much. So Meghan Markle, that wasn't good enough for her. They abscond to the United States after being in the royal family for 18 months. Then they turn around and shank the Royal Family, to use my word. They shank that family like, because they accused the Royal family of racism. They weren't treated well. Her mental health was terrible. You know what? You're a grown ass woman, okay? If your mental health is terrible, what do you want the Queen of England on her deathbed to, you know, come and coddle you and call a therapist for you? You, you have access to any therapist and doctors you want Meghan Markle. Why is it their problem? You're a grown woman. You were 40 something years old when you got married, or 39, you can figure it out. You know what I'm saying? But she just kept accusing them of all these things, and they really, really screwed over the Royal Family. I think the Royal Family is as strong as ever. But Megan Markle and Prince Harry, they tried it, they effed around, and they found out because now they're living in California doing a reality show on Netflix that I believe is 300 and something on the channel charts. So they really screwed up. So, Prince William, I think you should definitely strip them of their titles. I think the kids should be stripped of their titles, move forward, and then you'll have a new generation of folks who don't really remember Harry and Megan. You know, you might have kids now who are like 12, 13. They don't know Harry and Megan too well. Folks over in the uk, by the time they're adults, you could have really phased them out and sort of erased them. And I think it's not about holding a vendetta, but it's about knowing your responsibility, right? It's like being in a family business. It's like succession. It's about knowing that you have that responsibility to lead and to be an example. And when you have folks who don't even live on the same continent, why should they be in line for the throne? When taxpayers, some of their dollars go toward keeping the monarchy working and up and running, why should that go to Harry and Meghan whatsoever? So I'm all in favor of stripping their titles. Now, our final political topic for today. We have to discuss the auto pin. Right? If you know about the auto pin scandal, this was what Joe Biden used, or the folks around him, these shadowy figures, these unelected bureaucrats. It's what they use to sign pardons, to sign documents, to sign executive orders. Why could Joe Biden not affix his own signature to documents? That's what really confounded me, right? You could sit there and bang out 100 documents in five minutes. You just do the signature. Was Joe Biden so frail he couldn't even sign his own documents? And there's been some new reporting in Axiom that even the chief of staff's assistant was sending emails allegedly approving pardons for Biden family members. They were pardoning Hunter. They're pardoning all the brothers and sisters. You get a pardon. You get a pardon the way Joe Biden's staff. Because I don't think it was really Joe Biden, the way the staff handed out pardons. It was like Oprah on The Christmas days of giving. She's like, you get a car, you get a car, you get a pardon. That's how they were handing out pardons. Okay? And so for Joe Biden, by the end of his term, I believe in the last three months of his term, according to axiom, he did over 4,000 pardons. Over 4,000 pardons. 95% of these documents that were signed were in the last three and a half months of the term, which tells me he was probably in bad shape. He was probably non compos mentis something was not hunky dory behind the scenes for Joe Biden, okay? If he couldn't sign his own signature to these documents. So we have this auto pin scandal that's brewing. President Trump is someone, I believe, who wants to get to the bottom of it. This cannot continue. And this is something that can't happen in future administrations. Right. You should know that the President is able to sign documents himself. If you want to use the auto pin for, say, letters kids send to the White House, right? You get a thousand letters a day, and you want to send back letters to children and things like that, of course, use the auto pin. But you should not be using the auto pin for executive orders or for pardoning your own family members, which should be a bigger scandal than it is. But this morning, President Trump put out a post on Truth Social. He said this. The Biden auto pin scandal is big. Not as big as the Russia, Russia, Russia hoax or the rigged 2020 presidential election, but nevertheless, one of the biggest ever. So that's what President Trump posted on Truth Social this morning. Ironically, 12 hours ago, I asked him about some of this new reporting that pertained to the auto pin scandal. I had to ask him because for me, I'm all about you guys. I don't care if you're on the left, the right, the middle, all across the political spectrum. I want Americans to know if you pay your taxes, if you pay your dues and live in this country, you should trust that the President of the United States is the one running the country, okay? And Joe Biden had these shadowy, unelected bureaucrats, these sketchy figures like Anita Dunn. And you had Karine Jean Pierre, who was a liar. She said she couldn't keep up with the President. He had superhuman energy. That was clearly a lie. We all saw that in the CNN debate when they were unmasked as frauds. So I'm about you guys, and I'm going to speak up for you. I don't want any future presidents to be able to use an auto pin in this way, it's corrupt. So I asked President Trump about the auto pin scandal and some of this new reporting. Let's take a look. Looks the last three months of the Biden administration, they did about 4,000 pardons. The chief of staff's assistant was sending emails to pardon his own family members. Are you still interested in getting to the bottom of the auto pin scandal?
President Donald Trump
Well, I think the auto pen is one of the great scandals of our time. The auto pen was our, was our president, or to put it a different way, whoever operated that, the autopen was our president. It's not allowed. It's just not allowed. And they gave a pardon to the unselect committee after the UN select committee realized that that whole situation was a hoax and it was all their fault. So I think that, I think it's a big, I think it's a tremendous scandal.
Link Lauren
What do you think the media would say if you pardoned your kids your last day in office via an auto pin? Don't you think the media.
President Donald Trump
Well, I think it would have been a big story. I like this guy.
Link Lauren
I like President Trump too. And I'm incredibly grateful that I got to speak with him and ask him questions. I looked a lot better 12 hours ago than I do now on this camera here. But no, it's an honor to get to ask him questions. And I had to ask about the auto pin because you guys as taxpayers should know that the President is the one signing documents. And President Trump famously will sit there and sign his own documents, as he should. Okay? As he should, because he's a grown man and can sign his signature to documents himself. Himself, Joe Biden. I don't know what the hell was going on. We also heard Joe Biden was only working, really between 10am and 4pm it was nap time. He was out to lunch and he had the wife, one of the most power hungry women in politics, I believe, Jill Biden, she was sitting behind the desk on Air Force One. She was running cabinet meetings. She was pulling the puppet strings. Remember, Jill Biden would grab Joe by the hand and wheel him and drag him around like a child. After the debate, she was going, you did so good, Joe. You answered all the questions. I mean, they knew this guy's brains were apple sauce, okay? He might be able to smile like a Cheshire cat with those big veneers. Hey, I'm Joe Biden from Scranton. But no, this guy was out to lunch, mentally, physically, and he really oversaw such devastation in our country. We had the worst border in American history. We had crises all around the globe. So Joe Biden, sky high, inflation was terrible. The folks around him were even worse. And so I'm grateful. I got to ask President Trump about the auto pin scandal. And it seems like it's something he still wants to get to the bottom of. He still wants to find out more about. About who was controlling it. What was the chain of command when you hear that a chief of staff's assistant is sending emails on this person's behalf? No, no. You either sign a document yourself or you're not fit to be president. It's really that simple in black and white. I'm a simple kind of guy. Very simple. It's black and white. You can either sign your own signature to documents or get the hell out. Okay. You're not fit to be president. I will say, though, I think part of the reason they didn't push Joe Biden out sooner, I'm just brainstorming here. Part of the reason they didn't push Joe Biden out sooner is that Kamala Harris was worse. Kamala Harris in many ways was worse than Joe Biden. Right. Joe Biden had cognitive decline, dementia, probably was non compos mentis. Kamala Harris could barely form coherent sentences. She's one of the least skilled politicians I have ever seen. And ironically, she's a career politician. I think the people who are best at politics are ones who just run businesses their whole lives in the private sector and then come in. Kamala Harris as a career politician coming up in California was an abject failure. And so I think they would have pushed Biden out sooner, but they're like, like, we can kind of do what we want with Biden because he doesn't know where he is half the time. He's shouting out dead people in the crowd at events. So I think they kept Joe Biden in there as a vessel because they could come in and just do what they want and pull the puppet strings and say, we're going to do this and we're going to do that, but now we got to pay some bills. And when we come back from this break, I have a big announcement, a big announcement that pertains to Megyn Kelly, MK Media. And it might pertain to you guys. Might be something interesting for you guys. So we're going to pay some bills. And we'll be right back with the big announcement announcement. Trusting insurance agents or the government with your Medicare is way too risky. That's how millions of people get stuck on the Wrong plan and don't even know it. In fact, the Department of Justice just sued three major Medicare brokers for pretending to be unbiased while allegedly pushing people into the plans that got them the biggest kickbacks. Super shady. And honestly, Medicare is confusing by design. No one should have to figure this out alone. That's why you should know about chapter. Chapter does things differently. They're the only Medicare advisor that compares every single plan nationwide, not just a few that line their pockets. And because of that, they save people an average of $1,100 a year. So whether you're brand new to Medicare or already signed up, this could be the most important call you make. If you're on the best plan, they'll tell you. If there's a better one, they could help save you thousands. It's free and fast. Takes less than 20 minutes for them to review your options. So call 661 370-3275 to actually feel confident about your Medicare. These days, you've got two choices.

Well, my friends, the big announcement is this. Drum roll. Drumroll, please. I am going to be on stage, on tour, with the one, the only, the legend, the icon, Megyn Kelly. Okay? I always say she's a legend and an icon. She looks way too good to be a legend and an icon, okay? She looks way too good. One thing about us, we maintain the skin we maintain. But I am going to be in Fort Worth, Texas, with Megyn Kelly, Glenn Beck, Mark Halperin, who some of you know, on October 25th. This is a Saturday, okay? So if you don't have plans on Saturday, there's no game in that area. You should be able to come, okay? To see us on stage. We're gonna be doing Hot Topics. It'll be sort of like a live show. We're gonna be breaking it down, having fun, pulling each other's leg. It'll be amazing. We'll be having a good time. Maybe there'll be some audience participation. I want to meet as many of you as I can. Even yesterday at the US Open, a few different women stopped me and we got to take pictures, and some of them had seen me on the Megyn Kelly show. So if you're in the Fort Worth area, come to the show and you can actually get tickets starting at 1pm Eastern on Monday. So by the time you listen in this, you can get tickets@megankelley.com using the code MK LIVE. That's MK L, I V E. Doesn't matter if it's all caps. Doesn't matter if it's lowercase. Do what you want to do. But we hope to see you guys on the tour. I can't, can't, can't wait to meet some of you. I think I'm going to come hang out in the lobby. I'm going to come hang out with you guys after the show. You guys know me. I love to chit chat and hang out with you, especially my women and my moms and my grandmas and my sisters. I want to come hang out with you guys. And so I can't wait to see you on stage with Megyn Kelly. I'm also from Dallas, and so to do this show in the Dallas Fort Worth area is amazing. I'm so, so, so grateful, and it's gonna be fun. And there's been a ton of success with these conservative tours, these podcast tours, and so I believe this venue holds over 10,000 people. It's at the Dickies arena, last time I heard. So the Dickeys arena in Fort Worth. We're gonna be having a good time. There's one thing about me, I love a crowd. I love a stage. A lot of you guys don't know this. In 2022, when I was still a theater kid, I was in a show at Carnegie hall that ended out honoring Stephen Sondheim. So I haven't been on a big stage in a long time. I've spoken at some political events when I worked on the campaign last cycle. But this will be exciting. I'm excited to come. Meghan and I always have a good time. We're always laughing. And you guys love that I make her laugh, you know, shake things up. So it's not going to be politically correct. It's not for a bunch of pansies. If you want to come have some fun on a Saturday night and have a drink and hang out, we are going to be there there on stage in Fort Worth. So go to Megan Kelly.com and that's M e g y n Kelly, not m e g H a n like that other Megan in California, the wannabe Duchess. So go to Megan Kelly.com and use the code MK LIVE and come see me. I can't wait to meet you guys. I love you, but. This concludes our episode of Spot on with link. Lauren. We ran the gamut, okay, 12 hours ago. I'm asking President Trump questions on the tarmac about the autobin scandal and we're at the US Open. Now we're discussing Catherine, the Princess of Wales. Everything that's sort of matriculating with the royal family. And please leave a comment. Tell me what topics you want me to cover. Reach out to me. On social media. Wednesday we have a big guest who I'm excited to have come on the podcast. And y' all know me. I hate most guests. Okay? Y' all know me. I would rather sit and talk with you guys. You guys are my co host. You're my people. You know what I'm saying? I love you. You're my Internet family. I'd rather just sit and talk with you than have a bunch of guests. But we do have a guest that I'm so excited about on Wednesday day. So she will be with us and I'll be back home in the studio with good lighting. Thank God. So we'll be back home and I will see you guys then. Stay safe. I'll see you Wednesday. Bye.

Link Lauren’s tone is sharp, conversational, and candid—with frequent asides, playful jabs, and a penchant for pop culture references. He speaks directly to his audience, keeps commentary unfiltered, and occasionally breaks the fourth wall to reference his own story and the process of podcasting.
This episode covers the full spectrum of headlines: personal, political, royal, and cultural. Link’s distinctive blend of on-the-ground insights (from the Trump press pool), irreverent royal commentary, and populist political takeaways makes it an episode rich with soundbites, vivid color, and plenty of “did he really just say that?” moments.
Listeners can expect unapologetically opinionated breakdowns—whether on White House scandal, royal titles, or the price of bad chicken tenders at the US Open.
