The victim was Rebecca Wolfson, daughter of Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson. Rebecca was a city attorney, a judicial candidate in 2023, and engaged to a Las Vegas Metropolitan Police officer. After the engagement ended, the behavior escalated. According to police documents, Rebecca reported feeling terrorized and in fear for her safety as he drove by her home, tracked her movements, and allegedly misused police databases to monitor people in her life. The case ultimately resulted in criminal charges—raising urgent questions about power, accountability, and what stalking looks like when the person responsible wears a badge.
