Dederich University Educational Services, Inc CEDU was created in 1967 and consisted of multiple therapeutic boarding schools, licensed group homes, wilderness programs, and behavior modification programs (cognitive behavioral therapy) for troubled children and teens. The company operated out of California and Idaho and was founded by Mel (Merle) Wasserman, who modeled the children’s therapeutic boarding school after Synanon, a drug rehab facility turn cult at which Wasserman had sponsored recovering addicts. Let’s touch briefly on Synanon before continuing with CEDU, if only to show the relationship between the setting and people involved, AND because it goes from rehab facility to cult quickly. Synanon started as Tender Loving Care, an old store Chuck Dederich rented as a safe place for people wanting to join in Dederich’s seminars. Dederich was a former alcoholic who had worked his way through AA and began having after AA talk sessions at his home with other members. In 1957, Dederich volunteered as a test subject for research into the therapeutic uses of LSD by the University of California. The LSD research at UCLA was headed by Dr. Keith Ditman, The History of Synanon and Charles Dederich (culteducation.com) , who happened to be the first ‘drug expert’ called to the stand to testify in the 1971 Sharon Tate‐Leno & Rosemary LaBianca murder trial. In his testimony, Dr. Keith Ditman stated that Charles M. Manson could have persuaded Leslie Van Houten, a chronic user of LSD, to commit murder… As for influencing one to murder, he said, “one of the basic effects of the drug is that it makes an individual more suggestible.”. SpOC provides Space Domain Awareness; Space Electronic Warfare; Missile Warning,; Command and Control; Cyber Operations; Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance; Position, Navigation and Timing; and Orbital Warfare capabilities to Space Force and to US Space Command and other Combatant Commands. SpOC is responsible for operating installations at Buckley, Peterson, and Schriever Space Force Bases and at Cheyenne Mountain Space Force Station in Colorado as well as a number of geographically-separated units across the US and overseas. SpOC units are made up of Space Force Guardians and Air Force Airmen, civilians and government contractor personnel. BACKGROUND On December 20, 2019, the President signed the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for fiscal year 2020, establishing the U.S. Space Force (USSF) as a new Armed Service within the Department of the Air Force (DAF). Subsequently, the Secretary of the Air Force (SECAF) re-designated Air Force Space Command (AFSPC) as USSF, re-designated 14th Air Force as the Space Operations Command (SpOC), and reassigned all personnel previously assigned to AFSPC to the USSF by virtue of these re-designations. These initial actions provided immediate structure for the USSF but were not intended to reflect the end-state of the new branch of Service. Effective October 21, 2020, SECAF re-designated the former AFSPC staff organization at Peterson SFB as HQ SpOC. This re-designation aligned the Field Command responsibility for the preparation, generation, and sustainment of combat-ready intelligence, cyber, space and combat support forces to the staff and commander responsible for executing this mission. Also effective October 21, 2020, the SECAF re-designated the current SpOC at Vandenberg SFB as the Space Operations Command West (SpOC West). SpOC West is responsible for executing space warfighting operations in support of Combatant Commanders, Coalition partners, the Joint Force, and the Nation. SpOC West also serves as the headquarters and staff of U.S. Space Command’s (USSPACECOM) Combined Force Space Component Command (CFSCC). These burial and ceremonial structures were typically flat-topped pyramids or platform mounds, flat-topped or rounded cones, elongated ridges, and sometimes a variety of other forms. They were generally built as part of complex villages. The early earthworks built in Louisiana around 3500 BCE are the only ones known to have been built by a hunter-gatherer culture, rather than a more settled culture based on agricultural surpluses. The best-known flat-topped pyramidal structure is Monks Mound at Cahokia, near present-day Collinsville, Illinois. This community was the center of the Mississippian culture. This mound appears to have been the main ceremonial and residential mound for the religious and political leaders; it is more than 100 feet (30 m) tall and is the largest pre-Columbian earthwork north of Mexico. This site had numerous mounds, some with conical or ridge tops, as well as palisaded stockades protecting the large settlement and elite quarter. At its maximum about 1150 CE, Cahokia was an urban settlement with 20,000–30,000 people. The genesis of Commedia may be related to carnival in Venice, as the masquerade style of the characters is very similar. Of all the stock characters and their caricatured outfits, the Zanni characters were the comedic buffoons and rascals of the Commedia; all a form of jester in their own right. These characters would slowly mould into the modern day Clown and Harlequin of more modern interpretations. Harlequin must be more closely examined first, before we finally get to the creation of the clown. “Arlecchino” was introduced as a comic servant character by Zanni performer and Commedia dell’arte manager, Zan Ganassa in the late 16th century, he was then definitively popularised by the Italian actor Tristano Martinelli in Paris in 1584–1585 and became a stock character after Martinelli's death in 1630. But where exactly did this harlequin come from and why was it included as such a prominent lead figure in later performances? Robert Lima had this to say about the mysterious figure. “Harlequin has very strong links to Northern European and other demonic beings from antiquity, among them the Wild Man, the Green Man, Herne the Hunter, the Erl King, and the like. Both in his manner (acrobatic, sexual, devious) and in his dress (gnome-like mask, patchwork costume, phallos, slapstick), Arlecchino showed traces of classical fertility deities and chthonic beings from Nordic climes.” Now this is where the dark history of the modern clown character begins to take form, and how we can know for certain (before any further examination is done into the folk representations of the demonic) that the first iteration of the modern clown stock character during the mediaeval period, is quite literally, a representation of a Nephilim spirit.
