The following podcast is a Dear Media production. What's up, guys? Welcome back to Sunday Sports Club Podcast, a podcast all about sports told by a woman. And that woman is me. Hi, guys. I'm your host, Allison Cooch. And today we have a pretty big episode for Sunday Sports Club because today is Super Bowl Sunday. So I figured why not go ahead and get a wife from each team? So when it comes to the New England Patriots, we have Parker Henry, and then for the Seattle Seahawks, we have Anna Marie Cup. And I had so much fun chatting with both of these women, and I'm so excited for you guys to learn more about them. So let's go ahead and jump into it. Today we have on a very special guest, Parker Henry. Her husband is heading to the super bowl this year, and she's also been a friend of mine for. Oh, my gosh, my husband. Her husband played back on the Los Angeles Chargers. So super excited to talk to her. Welcome, Parker, to the show.
B
Thank you. I'm so excited.
A
So you're a mom of two. You are pregnant with baby number three, a registered nurse and wife to Patriots titan Hunter Henry, who is heading to the Super Bowl. Is there anything I'm missing?
B
I think that's the end of it. I think that's all. Yeah. Lots of titles, but, yes, very exciting time.
A
Yeah. I'm sure this is a crazy time where the guys headed off already to San Francisco. Correct.
B
Yes. Yeah. So they left yesterday. So they spend the entire week out there, which I don't know if I've just never paid attention, but I had no idea that that's what happened.
A
I had no idea that's what happened either. Oh, that's very insightful. I mean, I guess they would arrive earlier than, like, 24 hours before the game, but. Right.
B
I was thinking it was like a long weekend deal, like Thursday to Sunday, but. But no full week. So single mom, and over here, you're.
A
Just like, okay, I will survive. And you're due not that long after football season. So, like, how are you holding up with that, too?
B
Yeah, so it's actually funny because there was like, a media report that came out yesterday that was like, Hunter missed the flight, his wife's in labor, like, having the baby. And I was like, well, I guess everyone's just going to find out when I show up still pregnant, cooking.
C
Yeah.
A
You're like, no need to address this rumor. It is funny, though, because I feel like, like, if you could have any. Like, if you could determine when your baby is due, if your husband is in the NFL, you usually try and stay away from, like, February or even March. So you're like, you're right there.
C
I know.
B
Well, it's so funny because we had our first two in season, and so this year, we were like, oh, coast is clear. Like, we are so good end of March. Like, we're. We're so good. And so obviously, you always hope to play this long into the year, but we weren't expecting it. And so now I'm like, okay, my pregnancy is almost over. I have nothing done for this child. Like, I've. I've got to get my ducks in a row after this week.
A
So I was going to say, I feel like I have nothing done. And this is my second pregnancy, so I can only imagine the third pregnancy. It just gets even more like, whatever.
B
And I'm like, so type A. I'm like, I can't even believe I've let myself go this long. I mean, I haven't ordered a single baby thing, and we don't know the gender, so that also makes it just feel like it's not actually happening.
C
So.
A
So you're like, I don't even know this child that's inside of my body. And it's like, you almost have to kind of double. Not double prepare, but, like, when it comes to clothes, like, you gotta sift through. Through your daughter's stuff and your son's stuff.
B
Exactly. And that is just. We're putting that off until we'll cross that bridge when we get there.
A
Have. How many times have you been asked the question, if you went into labor at the super bowl, would you want Hunter to play in the game, or would you want him to come and be there for the birth?
B
And Hunter and I actually talk about this all the time. He's. He's not coming to the hospital.
A
You're like, you have.
B
This is your one hall pass. Like, you. You get to stay playing the game. We'll figure it out after.
A
I almost like it better for the plot, to be honest. I'm just like, it's better for the plot.
B
It.
A
Like, you've seen the other two bursts. Like, it's great. It's fine.
C
Right?
B
I'm like, you don't want to pay attention to the bursts anyways. So, yeah, what's the point of being there?
A
Like, it's the same thing. I'll get over it. Right? Yeah, exactly. Well, for the people who don't know, me and Parker go way back because. Because Isaac was drafted to the Los Angeles Chargers, and that's where her Parker's husband Hunter was also drafted. So they played together for like think three or four years. So we know each other, each other from the Charger days. How much has changed from you then to you now?
B
Oh my gosh. I feel like, well, when I think back to us all being in California, we were all like newly married, newly engaged. I mean you and Isaac had just gotten engaged and like we spent all of our time just on the beach, no worries, no responsibilities. And then now I'm like, I feel like we live like a completely double sided life now here in Boston. We have a family, kids, responsibilities, like it's just so different. And to think that I've been like a mom for four years now is just insane.
A
It's like so night and day. Especially because I think when you're on, when your husband's on an NFL team, I think you kind of gravitate towards people who like have, have kids or don't have kids. And it's just crazy now looking back, like we both have children and it, I can't even imagine because I didn't have my daughter when Isaac was playing. But bringing your kids to a football game. Can you walk me through what that looks like? Because I'm sure that the older they get, the easier. Well, you tell me.
B
Well, yes, so I will say I was just talking with one of my friends about this because we were like, okay, kids are coming to the super bowl, obviously you have to pay for their ticket. Will they pay attention to any part of the game? Probably not. But I will say, like my son is 4. He is very much so into all things football, all things Hunter right now. And so that makes it a little easier. Like the gut punch of the ticket price isn't as bad for him. But my two year old daughter, I mean Scotty is, she's one and a half. Two.
A
She's two. She just turned to just turn two.
B
So you can understand she is not going to watch any of the game. I will be lucky if she even sits in her seat during the game. So that's going to be really interesting. She, she would come to the games with me. Both kids would come to the games this year. But like we have child care fortunately at Gillette Stadium and so they get to play with their friends. It's a whole social outing for them. And so this Sunday will be a little bit different. All hands on deck. I'm just praying for the best.
A
Yeah, I, I was actually thinking about that last night because I was trying to get my 2 year old to do something, and she didn't want to do it. And I was like, can you imagine? It's like the last two minutes of a Super bowl, and, like, they're down to the wire, and your daughter's like, um, actually, like, I want a snack and I want it right now. And, yeah, you just have to go off of what you're doing. Well, I was like, but you want them there because it's so special, and they're. It's their dad. And, like, you want them there for that memory, but at the same time, you're like, okay, how are we going to do this? But I'm sure you guys also have, like, so many family members coming to the game.
B
Yes, exactly. So I'm hoping there will be enough distractions to where it's okay. But I'm like, yeah. I mean, you.
A
You.
C
You.
B
You think back, like, everyone has families that go and little kids that go to Super Bowls. Like, I mean, we're not the first ones to do it. So I'm like, how do people get through this game? Like, they do it somehow.
A
It's like they. They all come out on the other end, literally. Like, it's gonna be. It's gonna be interesting. I hope you share on your social media just, like, what's going on mid game, because I'm gonna be following along.
B
Yeah, it's gonna be chaos.
A
I know that when you. When your husband's team goes to, like, when they make it into playoffs, you're like, okay. Like, that's down. Okay. And you take it game by game. When did it really hit that you guys were maybe gonna go to the Super Bowl?
B
Like, gosh, it's one of those, like, unspoken things. So, like, we have, like, a group text of all of us girls. Someone said something back in October, and no one acknowledged it because we were like, don't you dare say that, because then it's not gonna happen. But, like, for me, I think it really hit, like, the last minute of the last game, the AFC championship. Like, it. I don't think I let myself fully go there in my mind because I was like, I don't want to get my hopes up. And then I felt like if I got my hopes up, I would start talking to Hunter about it. And he is like, we don't talk about it. Like, never. Never bring up the Super Bowl. And so I think it really hit after that game, and so that made it, like, all the more special. But, like, it's. I mean, even this morning, probably the pregnancy hormones, but I've just been crying for no reason because like, sometimes it just feels like so far fetched and so out of reach and so for like it to be actually happening, it's just, it's hard to even put into words.
A
Well, it's like the pinnacle. It's like the, the utmost. Like you have the NFL, which is like insane, but then you have a going to a Super bowl and like playing in a Super bowl and I feel like that's, I'm sure it's so surreal because this is Parker's what, 10th year?
B
Yeah, Hunter's 10th year.
A
So that's insane. So after 10 years, he like actually makes it to a Super Bowl. I'm sure that has to come with so many emotions. Well, and pregnancy has a lot of emotions as well, right?
B
Yeah, no, so many emotions. And I think it just makes that like all the past seasons like make so much more sense and make it even sweeter to like finally reached this point, like 10 years in which we were laughing, we were like, can you imagine being a rookie on this team and like your first year in the NFL, like you're just going to a Super bowl, like that is just wild to me. So I'm like, it's kind of fun being on the other side of like, okay, you've worked 10 years to get to this point, but like, either way just such a blessing.
A
How do you guys handle like playoff season versus regular season? When it comes to like your house and like the dynamic of everything, is it different or is it kind of the same?
B
Honestly, we kept it pretty same. Kept it pretty, pretty similar to what we usually have going on. Families still came to visit, still kind of have our house open door policy. Like everyone just piled in. We really didn't change that much just because we were like, don't fix it if it ain't broke. You know, like keep, keep the routine the same. And yeah, it seemed to work well.
A
So I almost feel like with kids it's easier to keep things the same and like not make a big fuss because it's like, well, they have a routine. Like they go down at the same time. Like it's kind of the same.
B
Yes. And I will say, like this year especially, Ace is getting. My son's getting to the age where like he's starting to realize, like, okay, normally it's off season, normally dad is not playing football for a month longer than normal. And, and so like he started asking, like, when are we going to go back to Arkansas? Like, when are we going to go be with our Family. And I was like, well, this year especially, we are staying here in Boston so I could have the baby here.
A
Okay.
B
So we weren't changing anything anyways, so we weren't having to do the back and forth moving. But, yeah, he was definitely, like, kind of thrown through a loop at first, like, why are we still here?
A
That's what that was going to be. My next question is, like, how soon after super bowl are you guys going to move back to Arkansas? But that makes sense that you would want to, you know, the same doctor, because this doctor has probably delivered all of your children.
B
Yeah. Yeah, she has. So I was like, we're just going to stick it out here, stay for the off season and. Yeah.
A
Yeah. That's awesome. You guys bought your Arkansas home not too longer, not too long after he signed with the Patriots, correct?
B
Yes.
A
Yeah, that's where you guys are both.
B
From and all of our families there. It's where we both went to school, so we bought there. And, yeah, we enjoy going back there in the off season.
A
Well, that'll be, like, really special. You guys get to stay in, you know, Boston or the surrounding parts, because obviously nobody actually lives in Boston.
B
Right.
A
An hour away. I'm like, I don't know why. I always thought that with NFL teams, it was like, oh, the city that they're playing, and it's like, oh, Los Angeles. It's like, no, it's like the Valley or Orange county or vice versa. Um, when. When park or when Hunter played for the Chargers, you worked as a nurse. Like, you had a regular nursing job, and I know you loved that so much. Do you think that your background as a nurse helps you in, like, high stress situations.
B
In a way? Maybe not in. I think I. I think I internalize a lot, but, like, my outward appearance. Yes. Like, I feel like I can come across as, like, everything's Gucci. Like, we're. We're calm, no chaos, whatever. But internally, I'm probably freaking out.
A
Yeah, well, I'm like, you're doing all of this with, like, juggling. Okay, so they're going to Super Bowl. They're leaving this day. Like, we have to figure out the way to get the tickets. Okay. Where are we going to be staying? Okay. We have two children. Also. I'm pregnant. So how are you juggling all of that right now?
B
Yeah, I think I'm just trying to be very present in each moment and not think about, like, tomorrow. Like, I literally haven't even thought about packing. I can't go there yet.
A
Which is interesting. You are very type A, so.
B
I know. I know. Oh, yeah. In my. And I think in my head, I'm already packed as well, and I'm definitely just not even there. But, like, we have to turn in our luggage Wednesday night. And I'm like, okay, it's Monday Does. And I'm like, it is 4 degrees here. We've had, like, 2ft of snow on the ground for the past week. I'm. I'm planning on taking a swimsuit for Ace and Rivy to swim in California, But I'm like, do we even have swimsuits that fit?
A
I don't know. So skinny dipping at the hotel, it's all the things that you think you have to bring. And then, like, the day before, you're just, like, running around town. You're like, okay, I have to go to Target. I gotta go here. And then you're like, oh, I need a bathing suit for the super bowl. Because, duh.
B
Like, literally, it's like, why? And a life jacket. Like, well, we might as well just throw a life jacket in our suitcase because we have plenty of room, I'm sure.
A
Oh, my gosh. So it feels like the. Like, when you hear of NFL teams, like, being super supportive, like, when it comes to the family, I've heard so many good things about the Patriots. So, like, are you guys all traveling to the game together? Are you guys sitting together? Like, what does that even look like?
B
Yeah. So I honestly had no idea what logistics of the super bowl looked like at all. Fortunately, our team charters, like, a family and friends plane, so we all leave together Thursday. Sitting together. No. So that's just a whole thing in and of itself. But essentially you get tickets and they're. They scatter us throughout the whole stadium. Yeah. So we are all just, like, all over the place, which is like, I get it because, like, it's not giving a team, either team, like, an advantage having, like, a big group of fans together. I guess.
A
Yeah.
B
And so it makes sense. But, yeah, we're. We're all over the place.
A
And how many tickets do they allow you to purchase?
B
So I think you get two comps tickets.
A
Okay.
B
And then you get up to. I think 13 are available for purchase.
A
Okay. That's a decent number. Yeah.
B
Yeah. So, like, we have, like, 15 in our family going, so.
A
Which is also insane, but I'm sure also extremely helpful when it comes to having, like, two young children also in the stands.
B
Oh, yeah, totally. And it's also like, this is a once in a lifetime experience. And so, I mean, you Hope it's not a once in a lifetime like you hope it's not. But, I mean, we were just like, we would look like Hunter wanted to have all of our immediate family there.
A
So is your son like, so excited? Has he. Has he been like, talking about it non stop because he comprehends, like, he knows what's going on.
B
Yeah, no, he definitely knows what's going on. He keeps referring to it as the bowl. When are we gonna go to the bowl? I'm like, all right, one day at a time. But he. He got to his little preschool, had like a patriot party last. Yeah, last week. And he got to play football at school. He got to watch Hunter's highlights with like, all of his buddies. It was like the cutest thing ever. And so he was like, he's been riding on cloud nine, literally for a month.
A
Oh my gosh, that's so special. I mean, for you as Hunter's wife, but also just like, see that through your kids eyes too. I feel like it's like, kind of compared to like, Christmas magic, like waking up on Christmas morning, it's almost more special because you get to share it with your kids. So that would be like, so sweet to. To see. Once the super bowl ends, how quickly are you guys going to shift into off season mode?
B
Let's see, the game's at 3:30, so 7:30. I'm like.
A
Wa a lot of preparation, and this is something people probably don't think about, but, like, the longer you play in playoffs, the shorter your off season is. And the off season can already feel very short when, like, OTAs are right around the corner. So I'm sure you guys are going to shift very quickly.
C
I know.
B
And we, we just had this conversation because I was like, we've obviously never made it this far into playing football into February, and I feel like by this point, we've normally been on a vacation or two.
A
Yeah.
B
And now I'm like, oh, wait, you're gonna literally end playing.
C
We're gonna have a baby.
B
And then it's back to football.
A
Yeah, back to football.
B
You're like, yeah, so that's a little stressful. A little stressful.
A
Like maybe y' all in June will be able to take like a family vacation with like a fresh newborn baby and get some relaxation in. I know.
B
I'm like, I don't even care what happens. Just take me to where the sun is shining because I need it.
A
Well, that's another thing is that Arkansas, I would say, has a lot more of a mild temperature. Slash Weather when it comes to winter, spring months. So how are you guys adjusting with, like, knowing that you're going to be in the cold for a little bit longer?
B
Yeah, I know. Honestly, thank goodness the Super Bowl's in California, because I think that's what's getting me through. I'm like, okay, this is kind of a mini vacation to somewhere where it's going to feel good. The sun is shining.
A
Yeah.
B
Snow on the ground. Yeah.
A
And with the new baby coming, how are you thinking about, like, rest, recovery, and family time this spring? Like, what is that going to look like?
B
Oh, gosh, I don't even know. Like, I don't even know what it's like to have a baby in the off season. Like, to have Hunter around.
A
Yeah. I'm like, I don't know how you did that during football season. We kind of brushed over that. Like, God bless, because I think I.
B
Blacked out that part of my life. I don't remember much. I literally do not remember much. But, yeah, it'll be nice to have an extra set of hands around.
A
Well, especially because y' all are about to be outnumbered.
B
Yeah.
A
So you're going to have to let me know on the other side of things how, like, your transitions right now. Would you say the harder transition was 0 to 1 or 1 to 2?
B
0 to 1. 100%. 1 to 2. 1 to 2 is a breeze. Like, things are looking up for you one to two, you know, but you just know what to expect. Like, you know what you're doing, you know what to expect, and it's like, you're giving your firstborn like a little buddy, and it's the best.
A
In my head, I'm like, it's plug and chug, but I'm also crossing my fingers. So we'll see when you come out on the other side, I want to hear is if 2 to 3 was harder than 0 to 1. Yeah.
B
Well, honestly, like, I'm more so just worried about Rivy, my daughter, my youngest right now, because she's already giving, like, middle child energy, and so I'm like, I just know she's going to be a problem.
A
I kind of love it as a middle child. Like, I, like, put some respect on that. Yeah, yeah.
B
Oh, yeah.
C
She.
B
It's giving for sure.
A
Well, I'm super excited for you guys to head to the super bowl, and I'm, like, excited to watch it all unfold. Before we end, I have some rapid fire questions for you.
B
Oh, boy.
C
Okay.
A
Super bowl nerves or super bowl excitement?
B
Nerves.
A
Sweet. Sitting or Sideline views?
B
Sideline.
A
Team gear or designer outfit?
B
Neither.
A
I'm like, both. Neither.
C
Both.
A
You're like, whatever fits at this point. Yeah.
B
Literally a trash bag.
A
Follow question. Comfortable shoes or cute shoes?
B
Cute. It's my one thing. Yeah, that's my one thing.
A
Enjoying the halftime show or staying locked into the game?
B
I'm excited for halftime.
A
I'm like, yeah, it'd be a great show. Phone off or texting. Family updates.
B
Probably family updates only.
A
Patriots or Seahawks?
B
Oh, well, Patriots all the way.
A
People find you on social media, like.
B
My handle, Parker Henry7.
A
I think I'll be tuned in. I'm gonna be at the game, but I'm gonna be still tuned into, like, where.
B
Where.
A
How everyone's feeling.
B
I know I'm gonna have to come see you.
A
I know. I'm. I'm actually fine. To San Francisco tomorrow morning, so we'll have to see.
B
You've got a lot to do. We'll figure it out.
A
Thank you so much for coming on the show.
B
Oh, well, thank you for having me. I appreciate it, you guys.
A
Every single year, I tell myself I'll get better about meal planning or meal prepping, just eating healthier in general. And then every single year, life gets busy and it falls apart. And then I find myself eating my daughter's leftovers that are on her plate. I feel like that's a parent thing. But what finally clicked for me is that realizing meals don't have to look one specific way, they just have to fit your life. And that's what Marley Spoon does really well. So what I love is that Marley Spoon actually adapts with you. So some nights you cook, some nights you heat, and some nights you just need dinner done fast. And they have options for all of it. So that means meals that fit your schedule and not the other way around. I feel like some days I get to the end of a workday and I'm like, oh, my gosh, I have to order in. And it would be so nice if I just had something sitting in my fridge. So Marley Spoon has been such a game changer for nights exactly like that. And then they also have stuff for when me and Isaac wanna make, you know, a little date night out of cooking and include our daughter and have her chopping up some veggies. And she just loves being involved, so it's nice that they also have options when it comes to that. And another thing I love is that they give you over a hundred recipes to choose from each week. We're talking comforting classics like Chicken Milanese with Cucumber, arugula salad to fresh balanced dishes.
C
Everything.
A
Bagel, salmon with truffle chive potatoes and green beans. Oh, my God. Please my mind that the truffle potatoes. Like, I'm already drooling. And again, all made with quality ingredients. So there's something for every single mood. Marley Spoon has tons of options in their marketplace, from meal shortcuts and drinks to fresh groceries that you can add on each week. And again, for the nights you need dinner like yesterday, the prepared meals are exactly what they sound like. Very convenient, delicious, and on the table in minutes. Lifesavers. If I. Like, I literally have to wear a bra unless I want my girls touching the floor. But that's besides the point. I want to talk about the fits everybody collection from skims. I've been wearing this collection for the past few years. I think back when my husband and I lived in Indiana. I made a YouTube video all about the F everybody collection and I genuinely always have their bras and underwear on. I'm one of those girls that I don't really love to wear underwear if I don't have to, but their underwear it als. But their underwear makes you feel like you're not wearing any underwear in general, which is something I love about it. As for the bras, I have to say I do not. As for bras, I am not a huge fan of underwire at all. I like a bra so comfortable that I can go to sleep in it and I don't even notice that it's like still on. Like, not one of those bras where you rip it off when you come home. No. And the Fits Everybody collection does exactly that. I never want to take it off and I never feel like I have to to be comfortable. So I'm such a big fan of it. Another reason I love the Fits Everybody collection is because it is so buttery soft, buttery smooth. My husband has even made compliments on how soft the fabric is. So we are all huge fans of not only Skims but their Fits Everybody collection. And now that my chest looks and feels a little bit, this is my go to bra every single day. Just from a comfort standpoint. And it's really easy to throw on, not uncomfortable, no underwire. And again, it is so freaking smooth. So if you guys are interested, I personally highly recommend checking it out. Shop Skims Ultimate Bra Collection and more@skims.com and Skims LA flagship on Sunset Boulevard. And after you place your order, be sure to let them know that I sent you select podcast in the survey and make sure to select my show in the dropdown menu that follows. Again, highly recommend the Skims Fits Everybody collection. Again, if you're interested in checking out the Fits Everybody collection, be sure to head over to www.skims.com SSC. Did I miss anything thing in your intro?
C
You did not. Thank you so much. It's lovely to be here.
A
Yeah, I'm so excited to have you on I'm sure a ahead of a crazy busy weekend. How are you feeling? Just about like all of the moving parts because I mean it's like, oh, they win the game. Okay, we're going to super bowl, like we got to book flights, we got to get tickets, we got to hotels, like the whole family. So how are you feeling?
C
I'm feeling good. I feel like one week removed. It's been so much the logistics of like super bowl and you know, your husband goes a week ahead of you, so you're then left to kind of be there and figure everything out. They, they give you a window of like a 24 hour period where you have, they kind of say, okay, here are the things that you know you're going to need. This is what you have access to. You still have to pay for it, but like this is kind of where you're at. And then you have like that time to kind of figure out who's coming, what family is going to join you, you know, what, what you're going to do for flights and tickets and all the logistics. So it can get extremely stressful. But I feel like being a little bit removed. We're still busy, but we're past the like insane point where you're like, I don't know what's happening. I'm just gonna go like by myself and not have to deal with it. But.
A
I'm sure it's nice that it's also like on the same coast. Like it's not that far of a flight. It's kind of just like a jump over. I feel like a five hour flight to me would seem like very intimidating and like just another added layer.
C
Yes. And with three kids by myself and then having to figure out, okay, do I fly a parent in to then take a six hour flight? You know, and most of my family is in the, you know, south or Midwest and so that's a lot of travel for them. And by myself doing it all, it's just extremely intimidating. And just the, for the boys, you know, all that travel and then you're in a hotel and it's really nice to be on the west coast.
A
Absolutely. What are the ages of your three sons?
C
My oldest is seven and then my second, he just turned five last month. And then my third, he's two. He'll be three in May. So.
A
Okay. So the older two have like an idea of what's happening?
C
Oh, yeah, yeah. The older. Well, I will say this, like, they all know, like, what they don't. My youngest doesn't know that like super bowl is happening, but he is very aware. He has been wearing Cooper's helmet and like jersey since he could literally walk, which was way too early for me. But so they are all like extremely excited. My 7 and 5 year old love going to the games and like love like the lore of football also. So it's been a really fun year for that because I feel like this is the first year where both of them, you know, they're like talking to each other about the plays and about the guys and it's been really sweet to see like their little relationship.
A
Like, absolutely.
C
Yeah.
A
Well, I was even thinking about this prior to filming this episode because I have a two year old and I was like, would I bring her to the Super Bowl? Does she know what's happening at the Super Bowl? Paying for a ticket for the super bowl, like, that's a lot to think of. But I feel like with a seven and a five year old, they're gonna be like tuned in as much as possible. But for the two year old, are you just like fully like game planning on like how to keep them occupied? Snacks, like activities?
C
Yeah, yeah, we have, we've obviously like been through a game or two. So we have our routine. Like literally you get the biggest clear bag you can get and you just like pack it full of snacks full of like little toys that they can play with, you know? You know, then you have to worry about losing a hot wheel down like the stairs. Like, it's fine, we have another one. But yeah, there's always a game plan going into games, especially ones like this, you know, that are just so meaningful and they don't come around, you know, often. So trying to be able to be present and just be prepared as much as possible is really important.
A
Yes, absolutely. I feel like over prepared and just in the back of my mind what I'm thinking, I'm like, there are times and places for screen time and I'm like, okay, on a plane, on a long car ride and like at if there's two minutes left in this game and like you want a snack, like I'm sorry, but we might have to pull out my mommy's phone, and we're gonna. We're gon to need to sit still for a second.
C
Oh, yeah, no, for sure. You literally pull anything out of your hat at, like, a moment's notice.
B
Yeah.
A
Bags of tricks. I want to get a little bit more into your coffee company, Dodo Coffee, But I'm curious what role coffee plays as a businesswoman, a wife, a mother, and also just, like, the logistics of a family and a household. Like, how does that fuel everything you're balancing?
C
Yeah, so I was actually talking to. So my sister and her husband, they do the roasting for us, and they run our brick and mortar, which is currently a trailer, but we'll get into that. But I was talking to her this morning because my parents are coming out, and she was like, okay, do you want me to send some coffee ahead with them? And I was like, yeah. And we were talking through it, and there's this one roast that we have right now that I love so much, but it's a micro lot. And so she was like, okay. They literally just roasted the rest of it. So I was like, okay, can you just tell them to give me a 5.5pound bag?
A
Because I need it.
C
And I really try to not allow coffee to, like, fuel me. Like, it really is such a beautiful ritual for me. And, like, that's how Cooper and I really enjoy it. And, you know, it's a part of our life because we love just what comes out of, you know, the cup of coffee when you sit down with someone or, you know, just that, like, the delight of it. And so that's really. I feel like, what has led us just to this, like, passion of it. But for this week, I was like, I'm gonna need the five pound back.
A
You're like, I'm actually gonna need it this week. I'm. I'm currently pregnant, so, like, you can only have so much caffeine. And I'm like, the. The, like, quality of the caffeine that I'm drinking, I'm like, I need it to be high quality. I need it to be specific. Like, I'm not just gonna go to a regular coffee shop. Like, I gotta go to my tried and trues.
C
Yes. No, you cannot waste, like, one sip on something that is not gonna do it for you. Did you have. At the beginning of your pregnancy, did you not want coffee? Did you go through that at all?
A
I had a huge aversion in my first trimester.
C
It's so common. And I feel like that is the worst thing when you're just like, I just want to, like, enjoy my coffee and I hate it.
A
Exactly. But I love what you said about like, the more so like the ritual and like sitting down and actually enjoying it. My husband would, like, love hearing you say that. Because my husband and I actually met over a cup of coffee. It was like our first date and then he like interned while being a college athlete at like a coffee shop. And he's like, no, the way you roast the beans is super important. He's like, this place, like over roast them, they're burnt, yada yada. So I can like really admire the amount of like, effort you guys put into, like, the quality and like, how much you guys love it as well.
C
Yeah, I think it's really interesting in a lot of other countries, like in Italy, the names of the coffee are around, like, how you want to experience your coffee. So like a long coffee, it doesn't necessarily, like, change what like you're getting. It's just a larger amount because you want the experience to last longer or a short coffee is like a shorter experience. You know, it's just.
A
Yeah.
C
Seen so differently and like, I resonate with that so much because I just love, like the relationship side of things and just being able to like, really enjoy something that we created together to just. Yeah. Have memories and moments.
A
No, I love that. But with that being said, you are going to need that five pound bag.
C
This week for sure. Yeah.
A
So you guys are headed to the Super Bowl. Can you take us inside the Seahawks season and like, what felt different about this run compared to others that you've experienced?
C
Yeah, I mean, this season was unprecedented for us just in our football journey. Cooper was so. We got married in college. Cooper was drafted by the Rams. We were already in LA training with our agency. And then Jared Goff was the quarterback at the time. So we actually lived in Jared's house for a little bit while we were like, right after we got drafted. And like, they're amazing, I love them. But so we obviously spent all of our time in la and this was our first year outside of that. And so just as you know, a new, completely new season, a completely new town, a completely new team and group of women like that in and of itself was just such a beautiful thing to walk through. And, you know, this season just like, I had no idea what to expect, obviously, like the Seahawks, so the Seahawks weren't even on our radar when we were, when we entered free agency because the Rams were trying to trade us. So we were not expecting, like, a division team at all. And so when that happened, like, the moment we hit free agency, and we just. We knew that, okay, this could be a very, like, big possibility. First, just wrapping your head around going to, like, a division rival was, like, wild. But then we also were like, okay, well, what's the quarterback situation going to look like? Because they weren't sure. I think. I don't think Gino was there. Gino was not there. And I can't remember if Sam had signed yet or not. So it was still, like, a little bit up in the air. So we just. I had no idea, but it felt like that's where we were supposed to be. And then obviously, like, you have this brand new team coming together, a new O.C. like, just. There's. On the offensive side of the ball, people have no idea, you know, what it's going to look like. And so many people, obviously, most of the time, it's not just a, like, first year. You know, you get to go to the super bowl, obviously. So we didn't have any expectations going into the season. And so to watch the guys come together in the way that they did, it was just really cool. I feel like there was instant chemistry within the team. The women on the outside of everything just, like, supporting their guys was, like, so beautiful to witness and just like, yeah, walking through a season where things are clicking is really fun.
A
Yeah.
C
And it's not always like that. And so I feel like it was just a really, like, beautiful season. I just. It's hard to feel like we. Because we had no expectations, you know, there. It wasn't like, okay, like, the pressure of, like, this is what we're supposed to do this year. You know, there wasn't those huge, like, hurdles then that you're like, okay, we're just gonna, like, win games and we're just gonna, like, keep moving forward and put one step, one foot in front of the other and just show up. You know, that was kind of like Cooper and I's like, let's just show up and see what happens. So it was really cool to be.
A
A part of it. Also a huge change. I mean, going from one place that he was drafted to and stayed for quite a long time, and then moving and then just the whirlwind of, like, oh, wait, we're going to playoffs. Oh, wait, we're going to the Super Bowl. Like, this is kind of insane. And I feel like it's like. I don't know. I feel like it's it's the teams not in, like, building years that go to the super bowl, but I feel like the Seahawks, like, everybody from the outside can just tell, like, they clicked. So how is the transition to, like, the new team? Because I know that can kind of be. Especially the first. The first team you go to after, like, your team that, like, you're drafted to. You stay for a long time. So, like, how. How was that even just, like, moving your family? It's just a lot.
C
Yeah. Well, it was crazy. So I feel like the whole process of, you know, from when. The beginning of last year, so the beginning of the 2024 season, we felt like there was like, a shift. We were just like, okay, like, we can feel. And I am, like, a very intuitive person, and, like, the gut feeling, you know, just like, my gut's never been wrong. I'm gonna trust her no matter what. And so we had kind of talked about that, and during that season, there were talks of trade, and, like, the Rams were entertaining, you know, trade talk and that kind of thing. And so it was like, a little bit, you know, we. We just knew, okay, this could be a year that we're not here next year, you know, so we're kind of preparing for that. All the while, we were like, we don't know why this is happening because Cooper's still playing at the top of his game at the time that certain things were happening, like, he was the leading receiver and had amazing relationships with the guys, and it just felt like there was something bigger going on. And so as we walked through everything, you know, once the season ended, they didn't ask us to restructure contract. They didn't, you know, try to retire him there. Anything. Which, you know, again, like, people say, oh, it's a business, which I totally get that. But the way that it was done, you would just think that someone who had been there for a long time, at least there would be conversation, right? Which there wasn't. And that was like, okay, we're just gonna. Again, like, walk through every step, right? We're just gonna continue to show up. And so then as we go into a new season, somewhere completely different, like the looking for the house, like, nothing was available. There were, like, no rentals, nothing. Like, every single step felt like it was just the hardest thing. Once we finally found a home, we had no furniture, nothing, because we were planning on keeping our home in la because we didn't know where we were going to go. We didn't know what this. This season was going to look like, you Know, we didn't want to be somewhere and then get traded mid year, you know, like, again, you just have no idea. So we were trying to kind of prepare for that also. And so the boys and I literally move up the beginning of training camp. Cooper's gone. I'm sleeping on the one piece of furniture that the people had left in the house, which is like this old couch with the boys. We had nowhere to eat. We had nothing. We were just like, hey, we're just doing this. And obviously, like, with your kids who are used to just being like, with their friends every day and like, in their home, that was a challenge, you know, and as a mom, just really trying to like, okay, we're gonna, like, this is fun. This is an adventure. We're gonna do this. Like, it's gonna be. Yes, exactly. We're camping and like, the, like, the novelty of it wears off quickly and, you know, they're asking like, when we're gonna go home and when they're gonna see their friends and all those things. And that was as like a mom, obviously, and just. It breaks your heart to see them, like, struggle through that. And they are amazing. And they're like, you know, they always, people always say, like, oh, kids are just, they're so flexible. They're, you know, they just go with the flow, which they really did. And I'm so proud of them for how they treated this year because it was really hard for us and for them. And we really dug our heels in, in LA because we had amazing friends. And that was something that we really prayed over also while we were in LA was like, if we're, if this is where we're going to be for the long haul, let's like, you know, really cultivate a community. And so that was hard to leave and that was, you know, obviously, like, our kids had friends also in that community and so it's hard for them too. And then we're just alone and it's just me and them and they're like, okay, I love you, mom, but, like, I really want to see my friend.
A
Yeah, absolutely.
C
Are.
A
Do you guys still own your home in la then?
C
Yes. Yeah, it's.
A
I wonder if it's just common amongst like the Rams and the Chargers, because that's where my husband was drafted to the Chargers. And everybody dug their heels in there too. Like, it was never the situation of like, oh, our off season home is here. It was like everyone lived there year round. And I wonder if it's because the weather. I want to say it's like, hard to leave, but.
C
Well, that's what I was. I was gonna say. So, like, when we got to Seattle, we got there for OTAs, and we were thinking, okay, we're gonna sell our house. We're gonna. You know, like, that was kind of like, we weren't sure what we were gonna do. But then we're like, let's figure out where we want to have our somewhere in the off season, right? And then we get there. There's nobody there. So we're like, okay, so people don't train here in the off season. And then I was like, well, duh. Because everybody comes to LA when we're, you know, in the off season, then you see all of your friends from all the other teams, you know, that are coming in to train. So I was like, well, it makes sense, because you want to come to nicer weather and just, like, you know, be somewhere that you can actually train.
A
Yeah. Somewhere you can, like, I don't know, see palm trees or, like, be outside. Yeah.
C
Like a parka.
A
I will say, as much as I. I, like, loved when my husband played on the Chargers, I do have to say there was something beautiful about experiencing the seasons around football. I think. I grew up in Michigan, so just for me, I'm like, oh, fall equals football. And it just felt so natural. So I'm like. I'm curious to know, like, have you liked, like, the transition of, like, Seattle being cold and getting chilly and, like, the fans kind of, like, embracing that?
C
Oh, yeah, for sure. I mean, the fans in Seattle also. I will just say that the twelves are crazy amazing. Like, I have. That was something that was so cool to experience just as, like, the wife of a player. Just seeing, like, how invested the fan base is and just how much of an impact they make and how cool that was. But, yeah, so when I. Cooper and I grew up in Washington state, We grew up on the eastern side of the state, which is actually colder. It is, because Seattle is, like, on the water. Right. So it's a little bit more mild. And then there's, like, a bunch of mountain ranges in Washington. And so it gets really cold on the east side of the state. So when we first moved to la, it was like, whoa, just weird being in Cooper. Like, the first Christmas that we had was outside without a shirt on. I was like, this is not right. This is just, like, doesn't feel right. Where's the snow? Whereas, like, you know, the holiday cheer was like, is there a chance of rain?
A
Like, anything.
C
We tried to get a real tree, and, oh, my goodness, it was just such a disaster. Like, we had pine needles everywhere. The tree was dry. Like, by the time we had it in our house, it was just. Yeah. Wild. So that has been really nice to be back around that and just be back in a place where it does have that, like, you have that feel. And it does feel like what I grew up, you know, being around and just, like, the. The season of football, because I think that is something that everywhere, outside of the warmer places, football really is, like, a season, and it goes with fall, and it goes with the winter season, and then you have the super bowl, and, like, that's kind of the, like, obviously, the pinnacle of it all. But it is really fun to be around that and just have that, like, charm.
A
Absolutely. And, I mean, San Francisco, I'm, like, back to California, so it's not really gonna feel, like, chilly. But honestly, grateful for that because especially after watching the Broncos Patriots game, I'm like, let's not have weather come into play. But with the super bowl, there are so many things. It's not just a Super bowl. Right? Like, there's events, there's parties. There's, like, so many things happening. So what is super bowl week look like for you? And just, like, compare it to, like, how it can sometimes look glamorous on social media.
C
Yeah. So I feel like super bowl for me is gonna be very low key because I try to. With my boys, I try to keep things as, like, simple as possible so that, like, it just sets us up, up as best as possible. And I know that there may be times that I'll look back and be like, oh, I wish I would have, you know, done more of these things. But I really enjoy the time that I get to have, like, with my boys leading up to such an incredible moment for us and in our life, you know, we especially playing in it. We've gone to the super bowl when we haven't played in it and been able to be a part of a lot of the festivities. But I feel like when you're playing in it, at least from my perspective, being able to, like, really just feel the, like, preparation and, like, kind of keep the Super Bowl. The game, like, the main thing has been helpful for me and, like, lessening just anxiety and, like, keeping excitement high and also just being able to support Cooper the best that I can during that time, because I know when I'm doing things and I'm, like, often, like, you know, having events, like, they're all fun, but it's also, like, all the preparation and all the stress. Right. That comes with that. So being able to just like, okay, we're gonna hone in on maybe a couple things, and then outside of that, like, really be present with our family. We have a ton of family flying in. Be present with the boys. Like, let them just really enjoy the moments that we get with Cooper and be able to spend those little moments that we do get with him, because obviously, they're with the team. So the times that he's available to come and just, like, hang out, like, I really just wanna spend those with them.
A
I love that. This is also the second super bowl that your husband will be playing. Incorrect.
C
Yes. The second that he's been. That he'll be playing in. They went to one his rookie season. Or. No, his second year, but he had torn his ACL that year, so he was just, like, cleared to be on the sidelines.
A
Does it lose the feeling of it being surreal, like, with it being, like, the second one he's playing in?
C
I don't think so. Because this, like I said, this year has just been such a different year, you know? Like, it. It's just crazy. It is mind blowing for me to look back where we were one year ago. Literally, like, not knowing where we're gonna be, like, sitting together, just being like, okay, what does this year have for us? You know? And then, like, about to play in the super bowl, like, I. It's just hard to even fathom, like, yeah. What this year has been. And just all of the. Obviously, all of the, like, noise that's been, you know, around, like, our run and him specifically with, like, how we got here. And so it's just wild to like, be sitting here and being like, whoa.
A
Yeah, absolutely. I'm like. I'm sure. Even just like, okay, we moved here. Okay, season's happening. Okay. This is still, like, we. Like, you're finding your routine, and then by the time you find your routine, like, we're going to playoffs. Okay, wait, we're going to the Super Bowl? And I'm also, like, a lot of logistics go into going to the Super Bowl. Like, travel schedules, family obligations. So, like, how have you been managing that all? I'm like, do you have, like, a calendar? Do you have, like, a spreadsheet?
C
I am the. Like, I don't even know. I think I'm, like, type Z, because I just am, like, not in organized. I'm. I. I have everything. I know everything. Like, mentally. I have, like, this mental checklist that I'm like, okay, I know. And it all gets done, I will like, eldest daughter, I get shit done. But it's not. It's definitely a challenge for me to, like, okay, I need to like, make sure. Because I'm coordinating all these things. And I think that having being in a new place this year was helpful for me because it allowed me to help, like, just coordinate family, that, like, this was new for them to come to see us, you know. And so I'm coordinating all those things for game day. I'm coordinating all those things for, you know, people coming in to see us and to come to games. And so I feel like that really sets you up to be able to know, like, okay, like, these are the things that need to get done. These are like top priority logistics, you know, like, we need to have tickets, we need to have a place to stay, you know, like, we need to have transportation to and from, like, how are people going to eat? You know, like, and being able to just like, slowly check those things off. And Cooper has been a huge help too. He's just like, yeah, amazing. And has been able to help with all of those logistics. Like, we just both have big families and being in Washington for this season, like, we've had a lot of friends that have been able to come and support us. And so being able to also figure out, like, who's coming to the games. And our friends from LA have been so supportive also. So figuring out all those logistics, it definitely, like, can feel overwhelming. But I feel like you just have to like, slowly just check the box, the boxes.
A
I feel like you and I are similar in that way because I wouldn't say I'm type A, but, like, I have a list in my head and it's going to get done. It might, it might sound messy to other people, but, like, in my head I'm like, I have a general checklist, but I feel like that also, like, it can be really helpful and like, having that kind of mind when having a company. So I want to transition to talking about your company, Dodo Coffee, because I'm really fascinated by the whole coffee world. So what inspired you guys to start the company in the first place?
C
Yeah, so we knew that. Okay. So like I said, my sister and her husband Isaiah, they run our coffee shop and my parents are also involved as owners with us. So I knew that we wanted to do something with family at some point and they were in kind of a transition period in their life with his job and, and with her. So we were kind of talking through things and Cooper and I were like, well, like, we have always wanted to do coffee. Like, we know that's something that, like, we're passionate about. We love it. When we came to la, there was, like, no coffee out where we were in suburbia. And it was really hard for us because we're from the Pacific Northwest, which I feel like, is the most, like, hipster coffee. Like, you know, the niche of, like, the. I'm gonna buy the oldest roaster I can get and, like, refurbish it and do everything, like, single bean, like, by hand, you know, all these, like, crazy things. So we got to experience that, like, like, through college, and. And we loved that. And so coming to la, where we were, it was like, okay, this. We can't find that. So that was something that we were like, well, selfishly, like, we want really good coffee and we want to do, you know, something around that. So that's kind of where the conception of the, like, idea came from. And then as we were kind of walking through logistics, everything just kind of made sense. And we weren't originally going to roast our own beans, but as we, like, walked through, just made sense, and it made sense for, like, who we all were, what we wanted to do, you know, and our biggest thing was, like, we want to have, like, really beautiful, like, moments around coffee. You know, we want people to have, like, amazing coffee that they can share with people and, like. Like, they can really see just the craft and see the intention behind, like, the coffee and the packaging and, you know, our brand and how we bring it to the consumer. And so I feel like that was a really, like, just fun thing to do together. But, yeah, so that's kind of how it started, and then it's kind of just grown from there.
A
If there's somebody listening to this, they're like, oh, I love coffee. Like, I'm passionate about it. What is, like, the. Where's the entry? Like, how can somebody get involved in, like, even starting, like, maybe they want to roast their own beans? I have no knowledge when it comes to any of that. And I know, like, every part of creating, like, the perfect coffee bean is, like, very meticulous.
C
Yeah. So I would say, like, if that's something that, like, interests you, right? Like, is it personal? Are you going to want to do it, you know, on, like, what scale are you wanting to do? But we did a little ski trip with my sister and her husband last year. They have four kids, and so, like, we all went to the mountains, and her husband brought, like, a portable coffee roaster.
A
I never even heard of that.
C
I did not know existed. And he was roasting, like, fresh beans for us, which I was like, this is crazy that, like, you even thought to bring this, like, how much space did this take up in your suitcase? Right. But so I feel like I know that they have those kinds of things available to you. I personally don't roast it. You know, I'm like, I do. We do a lot of the logistics, and I do a lot of the creative behind it. And, like, as he roasts, you know, we'll sample and we'll, like, help refine that. But I would say if someone's wanting to. Wanting to, like, enter, you have to find, like, make sure that the green beans that you're getting, you know, the importer is doing things right, because that was something that was also, like, really important to us. There's so much exploitation in the coffee world, and so being able to know, like, where are beans coming from? You know, how are they being grown? How is the. How's the area around where they're being grown, you know, being treated? Are they. Are people coming in and destroying, you know, land and homes and leaving after they've, like, gotten what they wanted? Are they giving back to the community that's around them? So that was really important for us to figure out, and that's kind of what led us to roasting our own, because we really wanted to be selective in that. And we actually. Our coffee is the green beans that we get. They're in the top 1% of, like, quality and just, like, what you can. The best of the best that you can get for green beans and just done ethically. And that was really important to us, which is why our coffee is more specialty coffee, you know, like, you obviously have to, like, we're paying the producers to produce it well and to give back to the community. That's, like, so important for us. So I feel like that is if you're gonna start, like, start with, like, where am I getting this from? And then a good product at the beginning, you know, is gonna lead to the best product at the end. So I feel like that's a huge thing, you know?
A
Yeah. No, I love that. And I feel like when your husband is in the NFL, it can be kind of, like, all consuming. So how fun has it been? Just, like, start company and, like, taking on, like, this different aspect of, like, your life and, like, your relationship when it comes to, like, starting a coffee company?
C
Yeah, it's been really fun. I feel like it's been so fun for Cooper and I to do Together. And then also, obviously, while he's playing football during football season, I do a lot of it without him, which is just like, natural in. In who I am and, like, the role that I play in our company. It's been. Yeah. Just so fun to like, see something grow. Right. Like, watch it from, like, it being just an idea. And then, like, and the way that it happened also was, like, kind of a crazy thing. We had a building, and then the city, there was imminent domain. They were widening the road, so they took our building away from us. Us. And then we're like, okay, like, let's pivot. We have this amazing community that wants us to bring them coffee every day. So I was like, okay, well, like, let's look into, like, mobile, you know, while we're building another building. And so we currently are out of, like, a mobile van and trailer, which has been, like, amazing and so fun to see. And just like, that's been really awesome for our community. And it's just been fun to watch it grow and to be able to just. Just be a part of something that, you know, is you're doing with your family, but you're also just growing a community and like, just like, you know, with anything. Right. Like your podcast, like, from the very first episode, being able to look back and be like, wow, like, look at what we've done. You know, like, look at where we are now. And, like, it's just really fun to be able to do that with family and around something that, like, we're really passionate about.
A
My gosh. Yeah, Absolutely. And I just feel like it's like a fun. Like, I mean, you do it year round, but also in the off season, you're like, we also have this, like, other aspect of us that it's not like, all in on football and then all off once the once a foot or once the super bowl ends. How quickly is your brain going to transition into off season mode? Because, I mean, you guys now have a shorter off season. Quite a bit of a shorter off season. So how quickly are you gonna guy. Are you guys going to transition?
C
It better happen immediately.
A
Yep. I'm like, have you guys booked, like, your first vacation yet? Especially with kids, I feel like it's so nice to just like, have a quick trip that's like, okay, we're mentally shutting off and we're actually gonna enjoy time as a family.
C
Yes. Yeah. Cooper and I have something planned that's just gonna be like a really short little getaway. We have grandparents coming in for that already, so that's planned. It is just. It's obviously so hard when you're like, okay, you want to, like, sit in the moment, right, and, like, be able to like, that was the thing about our last super bowl was like, you kind of just. You have the super bowl and then you're off and then you're starting again and you're like, wait, what just happened? Like, it's like whiplash. So I feel like hopefully being able to, like, really just enjoy these moments and enjoy, like, with the team and the girls and be able to celebrate just an amazing season and then really just shut it down. But we will have. Our coffee shop is opening our new brick and mortar this spring. So that will be really exciting. And I'm hoping timing with everything obviously, like construction, you never know how to things are gonna go. But I'm really hoping the timing works well for us to like, really be able to be there for the grand opening and just be able to experience that too.
A
Oh, my gosh. Well, you answered my next question, because I was gonna say, what's next for you guys, both personally and with dodo coffee. So you guys are going to be opening the new brick and mortar. Anything else? Anything else, like, that's not huge.
C
To expand a little bit on that. Like, we are working with, like, this amazing architect, Jeffrey Dungan. He's like, if you like me, love just like the beauty of architecture. I feel like I could just like doom scroll, like on just pretty buildings, like, forever. So we really wanted to like, make our flagship, like, if we're gonna build something, we're going to do it like, like the dodo way. The, like, just most like, beautiful way we can. So I'm really excited for that to, like, be done. And it's been like, so much, like, beautiful work, you know, getting to where it's gonna be, and I'm so excited for it. So I really hope that we get to, like, be a part of that in how we want to be, you know, just like, really be able to, like, go and see it. It like, as it's opening. So that will be really exciting. We'll also be down in la and I know the boys, like, they've been, you know, dying to just be with their friends. So we'll have to, like, really just plan some good time with them and do their sports and just like, yeah, it's hard when you have. It's like the best case scenario, but then for football and you're like, I would never change this, like, for the world, right? This is like, what you set out to do when you start the season, then you're. When you're planning your off season, you're like, okay, like, how do we do everything? And then you're like, okay, well, we just can't do everything. How do we, like, what do we prioritize so that we can, like, still have a, like, restful off season and go into next season feeling good without, you know, just being like, oh, now I need a vacation as we're heading into training camp.
A
Exactly. Well, I'm so excited for you guys and I wish you guys the best of luck. I'm excited to tune in for the super bowl, and I know it's, like, such a crazy, busy time, so I hope that you are able to, like, fully enjoy the moment and then I hope you guys are able to fully enjoy your very short off season as well. Before we end, I have some rapid fire like this or that questions.
