What?
Isaiah Stanback
So I was gonna ask Kyle, prior to that, that great song, what percentage of our listeners do you believe are unaware of who Little John is?
Kyle Yeomans
There's nobody that's unaware.
Nick Harris
Little John. Little John, famous rapper. Everyone knows DJ is dj. Yeah.
Kyle Yeomans
Turned down for what?
Isaiah Stanback
Why would I turn down?
Patrick No See Walker
Exactly. Why would you turn.
Isaiah Stanback
I don't know.
Patrick No See Walker
I just wonder.
Isaiah Stanback
There is somebody within the confines of our working space. I'm not necessarily in this.
Nick Harris
Who was born in the 90s by
Isaiah Stanback
the way, who does not know, she
Nick Harris
doesn't want to claim herself as being born in the.
Isaiah Stanback
We will not name her. We will not name her. But we are.
Nick Harris
Well, her name is Fasika.
Patrick No See Walker
Oh, yeah, we just named her.
Isaiah Stanback
Oh, she was. I would not name her.
Kyle Yeomans
I was going to say. I'm really Fasicka hearing about this. I'm so sick.
Isaiah Stanback
I want you guys to put in the chat. How concerned are you for somebody who was born in the 90s who is unaware of who little John is and thought that little John and Little Wayne were the same person?
Kyle Yeomans
Oh, that's even worse.
Patrick No See Walker
She's raised beating you. She's got to be. No, no.
Isaiah Stanback
It was dead serious on her face.
Patrick No See Walker
Okay, let's move on. The level of disappointment that exists within my spirit right now. Let's just.
Isaiah Stanback
In my loins.
Patrick No See Walker
In my. In my loins.
Nick Harris
She just helps us produce the show. For those that don't know.
Patrick No See Walker
She's awesome person.
Kyle Yeomans
She's great behind the scenes.
Patrick No See Walker
She just.
Kyle Yeomans
She may leave the facility.
Isaiah Stanback
We just realized how much work we have to do with her though, in terms of educating her on hip hop culture. It's okay.
Kyle Yeomans
That's okay. It's a long off season.
Isaiah Stanback
We have a lot of time.
Kyle Yeomans
She'll be ready by training camp.
Isaiah Stanback
By training camp. She has time.
Xavier (Kyle's son)
She'll be ready.
Kyle Yeomans
She'll be ready.
Isaiah Stanback
She got six weeks, seven weeks.
Kyle Yeomans
Good to have everybody back in the building. Of course, that's. That's exactly it though, is six or seven weeks until training camp. Today starts mandatory.
Isaiah Stanback
What was that word?
Kyle Yeomans
Mandatory. Minicam.
Patrick No See Walker
That means everybody gotta be here, gotta
Kyle Yeomans
be here, gotta be, gotta be, have
Isaiah Stanback
to be, gotta better be.
Patrick No See Walker
Yeah, yeah.
Kyle Yeomans
Or else you get. Fine, fine.
Nick Harris
Hit them.
Unidentified Guest
Pockets.
Kyle Yeomans
You don't want to get your hand out my pocket. And it's the final tune up going into what is the lull of the offseason. A true vacation time for a lot of the players, coaches, personnel in the building. And then it's training camp and you get right back into it whenever training camp comes around. But this is going to be the best look to this point that we've had of Christian Parker's defense. It's going to be the best look we've had at the rookies. It's going to be the best look we've had at some of the new veterans in the building. Let's start with some news and notes, but it is an exciting week and starting to feel like football a little bit again. And then it won't for a long time.
Patrick No See Walker
You know what? We're just going to get right into it. We're going to get right to the.
Isaiah Stanback
What's that?
Patrick No See Walker
To the.
Isaiah Stanback
The meat and potatoes.
Patrick No See Walker
Yeah, right.
Kyle Yeomans
3.
Patrick No See Walker
The meat and taters.
Kyle Yeomans
Am I burying the lead here?
Patrick No See Walker
Going to get right to the meat and taters.
Isaiah Stanback
Why don't you pick at it?
Patrick No See Walker
We could talk about news and notes, but let me tell you what a feeling of plum. Deep down ready to take him to the market. George Pickens, as expected, has reported to Cowboys Mandatory. Finally, George Pickens has returned the pro.
Kyle Yeomans
They can smell fresh cash today.
Patrick No See Walker
Yeah.
Kyle Yeomans
What if he's just not there?
Patrick No See Walker
He was here yesterday.
Kyle Yeomans
He said, I got my physical done, now I'm out of here.
Patrick No See Walker
Yeah. So, yeah, George Pickens in the building. We sat here on this same podcast not a couple weeks ago and we said our expectation was that George Pickens will be present and accounted for when mandatory minicamp got underway. Not for the least of reasons is that he signed his franchise tag, which means the Cowboys could officially find him if he did not appear for many camp. So he is in the building, had his physical yesterday, all went well. Now the next question is the obvious question from fans. Well, you know, no, see, what do you expect him to do on the field? Not much of anything. Some individual drills, they will be very methodical with this. The only workout, so to speak, that he's had, plural workouts, would have been his throwing sessions with Dax Prescott, but that's not been for a couple months now. So George Pickens is going to have to get kind of back into football shape. He's in shape, but, you know, there's a difference between the two things. So minicamp is three days. I don't expect them to try to fully unleash him in any type of team drill, team situation. He'll dip his toe in the pool, but they're going to kind of bubble wrap him a bit until training camp. But George Pickens is definitely in the building and ready to go.
Isaiah Stanback
Toes in the water. Are you a walk down the stairs into the pool type of guy, are you?
Patrick No See Walker
More no, I'mma jump on in because I just get it over with. Yeah, just get it over with. I'm going right on in. What about you, Josh?
Nick Harris
Are you? I, I, I dip my toes in, then I go about waist level and
Kyle Yeomans
then I'm like, you know what I mean, Panther?
Josh Rodriguez
Yeah,
Patrick No See Walker
I got it.
Nick Harris
And then I have to hype myself up for like three or four minutes
Kyle Yeomans
just to like, get your confidence, like, barely.
Nick Harris
Just kind of like dip in hey,
Isaiah Stanback
am I the only one that gets in the pool and walks on their toes? Like that's gonna make.
Nick Harris
Oh, no, that's me.
Patrick No See Walker
That's me all the way. Until it gets about right here. And then you're like.
Nick Harris
Yeah, it's just the quiet suffering that you have.
Isaiah Stanback
I'm like walking on my toes.
Kyle Yeomans
Like I said, this is stupid.
Patrick No See Walker
As it wades higher and higher. Yeah, man.
Chris Beam
Just jumping.
Nick Harris
And then someone's trying to splash you or something.
Isaiah Stanback
Oh, it's falling. It's full on battle at that point.
Patrick No See Walker
Yeah. So the Cowboys are going to force George Pickens to do what Isaiah does when Isaiah's getting in the pool, which is slowly til toe tiptoe in. The water creeps high.
Kyle Yeomans
Not the effective way to do.
Patrick No See Walker
Not the effective way, but it's the.
Kyle Yeomans
It gets you in the water nonetheless.
Nick Harris
Exactly.
Patrick No See Walker
So George Pickens.
Kyle Yeomans
I don't know if he'll make the same sound Josh did, though,
Nick Harris
that you can put on your plums.
Patrick No See Walker
We are so back.
Josh Rodriguez
Oh, jeez.
Patrick No See Walker
George Pickens headline. He's in the building. Nice. Mandatory mini camp. So with that being said, correct me if I'm wrong, everyone's president accounted for, and the Cowboys, knock on wood. Have no headlines that can be spun. Not so positive to start this negative energy. No negative vibes. No, man.
Kyle Yeomans
When's the last time that that happened?
Patrick No See Walker
I don't want to. I don't want to say that.
Kyle Yeomans
Completely honest.
Isaiah Stanback
You know what the next conversation is? What was the last time you know what I hate? Who's your middle linebacker? That's going to be the conversation.
Kyle Yeomans
Well, we know that's probably a fair conversation.
Patrick No See Walker
It is a fair.
Isaiah Stanback
It is a fair.
Patrick No See Walker
Well, if you ask Demo, I was about to say we know who believes he's going to get it, which is demarvion over shown.
Nick Harris
He said it with his chest on a Tuesday.
Patrick No See Walker
Both pigtails.
Kyle Yeomans
And what did he say?
Patrick No See Walker
Both.
Nick Harris
What did he say, Patrick?
Patrick No See Walker
He basically said that he has always had the ability to play Mike, and we know that he did some of that at Texas, but he basically alluded to the fact that he was moved away from Mike to begin his career. And he's saying that he's about to show everyone that he has that in him to be the mic and to lead the linebacker corps and to lead the heart of the defense. This was the Marvion over shown just last week. So, yeah, Demo wants the smoke for middle linebacker and he wants that green dot. He wants it real bad.
Nick Harris
He's confident of anything. But is he ready for that spot, I'm a little, I'm a little off on it, man. I don't, I don't feel necessarily comfortable with that spot. Again, like we've talked about the best availability or the best ability is availability, and we haven't seen that yet. We haven't seen a full season yet from Demo and putting him at such a crucial spot, a spot that you've had question marked in since basically the season ended or actually since the season started last year. So to me, it's, it's a little up in the air and I don't know that I would feel comfortable going that route and saying, like, this is our plan going forward. I think you definitely need some depth there or you need a, an alternative, alternative plan. Granted. He's saying I'm ready for this. I don't think that's all of the coaches thinking in that respect. I think they have a competition on their hands.
Patrick No See Walker
It is a competition. And that's something that Christian Parker and Brian Schottenheimer have pretty much put out there on the table. So this is from Demos POV Demo feels like he has played the position in his football career. He can play the position at the NFL level and he's basically planting his flag. That's Demo Plant Agent Zero playing his flag.
Nick Harris
And he sounds unequivocal about it.
Patrick No See Walker
He, he does as he should.
Nick Harris
As he should.
Patrick No See Walker
As he should.
Isaiah Stanback
But anybody physically seen him now? What's his, what's his frame look like at this point?
Patrick No See Walker
As far as mass or.
Nick Harris
Yeah, he's, he's a statue man.
Patrick No See Walker
Yeah, he's talking.
Nick Harris
Yeah, he looks great.
Patrick No See Walker
He's tall. He has the mass to do it. I, I, I will probably toss on another five pounds of musc, which means
Isaiah Stanback
he needs to show up at camp with 10 more pounds than he has now.
Patrick No See Walker
Agreed. But he has five to six weeks to do it. 5, 45, 46. Five to six weeks to do it. So. But to Josh's point, this is. Nope. This is an open competition.
Chris Beam
That's good.
Patrick No See Walker
Right? So we'll see.
Isaiah Stanback
I mean, you want somebody who's confident, you want somebody who's vocal, you want somebody who's a, who's a leader of men. I mean, you, those, he checks all those boxes. I think the only question mark that you can put over his head is availability. Health wise size. Can he handle the, the demands of that position in this new scheme?
Nick Harris
Right, Exactly.
Patrick No See Walker
It's wide open right now though. That's good. But I love Demo's confidence. Hey, man, go, go get It So
Nick Harris
you wouldn't expect him to say any less.
Announcer
So.
Patrick No See Walker
Yeah. If you want to go get it.
Isaiah Stanback
Question now, with that in mind. Okay. With that in mind, understanding who's available at the linebacker position. Kind of playing musical chairs right now.
Patrick No See Walker
Right.
Isaiah Stanback
In terms of who's going to be where. Because I know everybody's mindset was that Demo was going to be on the outside like he's always been. Right. Being able to go out there, run guys down sideline to sideline. If you put him in the mid linebacker, that ability, those. Not the ability doesn't go away, but the. The responsibilities to run sideline to sideline kind of go away. Right. He's more so manning down the middle, going downhill, dropping into the. The middle third of the field. Do you believe that the Cowboys, with the. With the intent of him possibly playing Mike linebacker, still need to go out and try to find a veteran linebacker?
Kyle Yeomans
Yes.
Patrick No See Walker
Okay.
Kyle Yeomans
Absolutely. That would be the number one thing still on my list.
Nick Harris
Absolutely.
Kyle Yeomans
Of what they still need to do.
Patrick No See Walker
Samesies.
Kyle Yeomans
Doesn't mean they can't get by without it. They can probably get by without it, but you could thrive with it. And that's what I'm trying to do.
Patrick No See Walker
You're a thriver.
Kyle Yeomans
I'm trying to thrive. They can get by doing what they're doing right now, but you're not thriving the way that you want to.
Nick Harris
At least this team so far with Shoddy under the helm, I don't think this is a team that's going to get by. Like, in the respect of like. I don't think they're settled with that. I don't think they want to get by. I think they want to emphasize as much as they possibly can and give themselves the best advantage. Advantage humanly possible. And then you have Christian Parker, who also wants to make a name for himself, too. He's already done that within the these walls. But now you have a guy that's genuinely instituting a whole different makeup of what this Dallas Cowboys defense can be. He needs somebody that he can rely on that is unquestionably the leader of the defense in that respect. As your middle linebacker. I think he already has one in Caleb Downs for the back end. But now, I mean, you got to solidify that as much as humanly possible. You have to do whatever it takes.
Patrick No See Walker
Yeah. I do agree, and I will. When it comes to the question of demo's availability, I. There are levels to this. So when you talk about Daron Bland's availability, you're talking about a nagging Issue with his foot. I'm very concerned about the Ron Bland, but when it comes to demo, it's kind of a bad situation. So in the preseason, his rookie preseason, you plant wrong, you tell your acl what can you do, you get back, you're having a pro bowl caliber year and alignment, it was monster, I believe rolls up on the left side of you and blows out your tendons again. So it's to me, it's not that he's injury prone. He just had a strength of bad luck. So I say that to say I believe that Demo's availability question is more of a smaller question mark than say like a duron bland, which is like a huge question mark. They're both still question marks and demo still has to stay on the field and prove that he can. But he's not having these nagging issues that are just, you know, wrong place, wrong time type thing.
Kyle Yeomans
I guess the, the thing I'd ask in rebuttal to that is with demarvi and overshooting, what was his skill set? What did he do best in terms of fundamentals?
Patrick No See Walker
I know what you're about to say.
Kyle Yeomans
Side to side.
Patrick No See Walker
Yes.
Kyle Yeomans
He side laterally, downhill if you need him to be quick first step and explosion.
Josh Rodriguez
Right.
Kyle Yeomans
The question there is because he sustained these injuries, I know that the injuries are semi freak accident type of things, but can he still do what he does best at a high level? That's my question. I think he can. I think he'll be fine. The medical, the training staff, all of that is sort certainly in place to give him the best opportunity and the best resources to do so. But that's football too. When you're asked to drive a Ferrari for sure you can't do it with a little bit of a flat tire.
Patrick No See Walker
But real quick. And he's out of the brace, so I don't think that tire is flat.
Kyle Yeomans
Okay, that's good.
Josh Rodriguez
Yeah.
Isaiah Stanback
Now married.
Unidentified Guest
Yeah.
Kyle Yeomans
Congrats.
Patrick No See Walker
Congratulations to Demo. And still showed up to many camps. He said, he said the honeymoon can change. Yeah, he said honeymoon. He said his wife understands the honeymoon can't wait. He has work to do.
Kyle Yeomans
They've got plenty of time. The next couple weeks, they'll be just fine. There was one question Floyd in the chat said, who's not playing? If you bring in a veteran who is not playing in the met like
Patrick No See Walker
the linebacker spots with a fantastic question, who's not playing? D winchers is going to play rookie Barum. He's going to get his off ball snaps. Demo. If demo's not playing Shemar is going to get his
Nick Harris
honestly Shamar would probably be my odd man out in that respect because you have and I'm blanking on his name. There's another linebacker there who I think is more special teams than anything Baron
Kyle Yeomans
I think he would be Everybody has a goes on notice if you add a veteran linebacker depending on the caliber of veteran linebacker if not on the
Patrick No See Walker
field and the veteran linebacker is here assuming that you traded for an impact guy who may or may not be staring at palm trees right now. I think Shamar he's shown enough last year not just on special teams. Yeah. You do not. You do not stop his progr. I think you then look at Barham for the time that overshone is out. Hold on not taking him off of the field.
Nick Harris
How about that.
Patrick No See Walker
But putting more of his reps at the edge which is what they're going to plan to do anyway as far as mix him in.
Isaiah Stanback
He's a juggernaut.
Patrick No See Walker
Exactly. So I'm not saying take him off the field but I think in this situation we're talking about demo is not available. I'm not stopping Shamar James's progress. I traded for Dee Winters. I want want J. Sean Barham on the field but I also know that in the scouting of him I already had a plan to get him snaps off the edge as well. I think he's the one that's most readily you just drop down to the line and then there frees up the spot for like a Shemar James so you don't sacrifice his progress. That's just my take on it.
Isaiah Stanback
Fair.
Kyle Yeomans
And it makes a lot of sense there too.
Nick Harris
It makes sense.
Kyle Yeomans
There is a report out there that the it's a minor thing so I think we'll be all right. But Tom Pelissero, NFL Network insider just tweeted that the Cowboys are signing UFL offensive lineman Chris Glazier.
Patrick No See Walker
Source he was we're not back until the Cowboys start signing UFO players. We're not officially back until that happens.
Nick Harris
Incoming Pro bowl are on their way.
Patrick No See Walker
You never know man.
Nick Harris
You never know.
Kyle Yeomans
26 years old out of Virginia. He was undrafted in 2022. He actually spent some time on the practice squad here back in 2023 and then bounced around between the jets and the Bears and then most recently played for the Columbus avia in the UFL the last this past.
Patrick No See Walker
He's only 26.
Nick Harris
Like their glasses guard.
Patrick No See Walker
Yeah, he's only 26 and he gives them a little bit more competition in that mid to lower range of the off interior offensive line and they really, they're trying to figure out some things on the offensive line. You let Brock Hoffman walk in free agency. You did choose to keep the tender and keep TJ Bass. It hurts because we can't really. Yeah, yeah.
Isaiah Stanback
Good opportunity for him, though.
Patrick No See Walker
Yeah, absolutely. Reunite with Mike McCarthy, whatever.
Isaiah Stanback
You know, I didn't want him to leave.
Kyle Yeomans
I don't like this.
Xavier (Kyle's son)
They chose.
Nick Harris
I liked him here.
Patrick No See Walker
I did, too.
Nick Harris
Who's gonna start a fight at camp, man? Come on now.
Isaiah Stanback
They had two pawns out there to
Kyle Yeomans
grab one the and remember, not with me.
Patrick No See Walker
Oh, okay.
Kyle Yeomans
Remember last week, Matt Hennessy, it was announced that he was having neck surgery by Brian Schottenheimer. He released that information and if that's the case, then you need some depth on your options.
Nick Harris
He did say he would start on the pup, so.
Patrick No See Walker
So, yeah, still figuring some things out on the offensive line and I don't like that you are still figuring some things out. But you better get it figured out because as early as week one.
Nick Harris
Well, I think minicamp answers a lot of questions in that respect. Where it's like, what questions do we, what players do we have, what gaps do we need to fill going into training camp? That's obviously what a big part of minicamp is going to be for them.
Kyle Yeomans
And that's what we're going to talk about when we come back, like a pro minicamp preview. We're going to talk about who's making an impact, who's going to make a jump and who is under the radar for this Dallas Cowboys team when we return with more Talking Cowboys right after this.

I've got a question for Xavier. How much driving have you done now since you turned 15? Does he let you drive at all?
Patrick No See Walker
No. No.
Announcer
Yeah.
Nick Harris
I mean, I finished driver's ed, but like, I haven't done anything for my license.
Isaiah Stanback
You know what? I'm not supposed to say this, but on your 16th birthday, you're getting a unicycle.
Xavier (Kyle's son)
Cool.
Patrick No See Walker
That's tough. That's sweet.
Nick Harris
I f be whipping around the streets on it.
Kyle Yeomans
Could you imagine how cool that would be?
Patrick No See Walker
On that note, Dad's going to get back to work.
Josh Rodriguez
All right.
Kyle Yeomans
Appreciate you. Xavier stopping by.
Nick Harris
Thanks for stopping by.
Kyle Yeomans
Xavier, right? Xavier.
Patrick No See Walker
Xavier, as his sister calls him when she wants to troll him. Xavier.
Kyle Yeomans
That's.
Patrick No See Walker
That's her. That's her troll for Xavier.
Nick Harris
No.
Josh Rodriguez
Oh.
Nick Harris
How you like that?
Patrick No See Walker
Okay, A lot.
Kyle Yeomans
I like that.
Patrick No See Walker
Put it on a shirt.
Kyle Yeomans
There you go. All right, we gotta talk. Next time he's on Talking Cowboys, we gotta talk a little bit about minicamp. Mandatory minicamp. We already established George Pickens is in the building. He will be here, but I want to know who. Are we not talking about that. We need to be talking about who under the radar for the Cowboys is ready to showcase in minicamp, mostly based off of what we've seen at OTAs in Minicamp.
Patrick No See Walker
You want me to jump off the porch?
Isaiah Stanback
Do it.
Patrick No See Walker
Go for it. I'm going to jump off the porch. It's someone who just got here.
Kyle Yeomans
Don't sprain your ankle.
Patrick No See Walker
Well, yeah, I need that because I need that ankle. Need both ankles. I only got one knee. I'm going Rashawn Gary.
Kyle Yeomans
Oh, oh.
Patrick No See Walker
I feel like Rashawn Gary's best years in Green Bay was next to whom Kenny Clark. Once Kenny Clark got traded in that Micah Parsons deal, Rashawn Gary struggled, but I mean, he struggled for other reasons as well. Schematically wise. And I spoke with him. There's some things out, off the record I won't put out there, but he had a rift with the. The coordinator as far as how he was being utilized versus the scheme, things like that. So when you combine both of those things, it contributed to what you would say is a down season for Rashawn Gary. But if you pluck that season out and app to most other names in the league, you'd say, hey, that was a solid season. So it's contextually speaking, I think that you put him in Christian Parker's system. You put him alongside Kenny Clark. And then of course, guess who else is on this line. Quinnan Williams is on this line as well. Right. I think that with Kenny, with all of that being said, I think Rashan Gary, who also has a very big chip on his shoulder because he hears everybody saying, yeah, he hears. He hears the noise. He hears fans from Green Bay saying that, oh, haha, you got him, he's washed. He hears fans of the Cowboys that may not know much better and they're saying, oh, well, why do we get this guy? We need. We all agree here that we need and we would like a some sprinkles with the Rashawn Gary move. We said that. I'll restate it. I don't know that Rashawn Gary at this moment solves the outside linebacker slash defensive end. Need that. You have. Add some ball ham. Add some Sam Williams. We'll see. We'll see. But I think that before it's all Said and done. Rashawn Gary is going to have one of the the better seasons of any Cowboys defender. And we will have this conversation in hindsight next year and we will say, damn, that ran Gary. He did what Javion Clowney was able to do the year prior, but he did it from a younger capacity and he did it maybe in a more effective capacity as far as, you know, timing of when those plays are being made. So I'm going to say Rashan Gary.
Kyle Yeomans
I I just hope I want you to clarify here a little bit. You're not saying that the ceiling for Rashan Gary is Jadavian Clowney?
Patrick No See Walker
No.
Kyle Yeomans
Because that's not what he was brought in to do. No, he's brought in to be more than that.
Patrick No See Walker
Yeah, right, exactly. I'm saying at minimum, at minimum he's doing what jdavion Clowney, Davion Clowney last
Nick Harris
year was a breath of fresh air for the offensive line. Yeah, absolutely. And like bringing him late too, like you absolutely needed that. And hopefully with, you know, training camp and all that being here much sooner and a player of I would argue a much higher caliber than Jadevian Clowney having. Oh my gosh, why am I blamed Rashawn Gary now? I think that that bodes well for your team for sure. My point though, I think this is going to be an interesting position battle and I want to I guess, name a couple of names to watch out for because this is a position that I felt very strongly about during the draft, although that the need wasn't necessarily very high for this position. But I think there's a lot of intrigue, the intrigue, if you will, in Trig. Intrigue with tight end two, the backup tight end or tight end number two. Because Michael Trigg is on this roster now and talk about a measurables guy, but I mean I believe in Reverend Span Ford and I've been talking about that since last year in the year prior. And you're talking about a contract year for Luke Schoonmaker as well, who they have to decide whether or not they're. They're going to keep him after this season. This is the last year on contract. So. So to me that's going to be a very interesting battle in minicamp and then obviously very much in training camp, it's like who's going to be that TE2 because I don't think necessarily I would hope, I'm not saying that I know anything about how they're trying to emphasize the offense or change the offense in a way to Kind of push them up a notch compared to last year. But I would hope that they would want an extra weapon. Yeah, they want an extra target because all of the emphasis now is going to be on CD and George who is now back in the building and you're opening things up for Flannoy, you're opening up things for Terp. To me. Another an additional target on that, someone who's athletic, who's. They don't have to worry outside of Jake ferguson. To me T2 is wide open.
Patrick No See Walker
So I will literally quickly see.
Nick Harris
Literally wide open.
Patrick No See Walker
I'll quickly see you a trig whom I'm a big fan of and I'll raise you Brevis band Ford. Okay, you go.
Kyle Yeomans
Hold on, hold on to that point though. When it comes to tight end. This is interesting. We just finished writing the training camp preview magazine and tight end was a group that I wrote on. You know who the oldest player in the tight end room is currently?
Patrick No See Walker
Would you guess?
Kyle Yeomans
Jake Princess. It is not Princeton.
Patrick No See Walker
Really?
Kyle Yeomans
It's not Princeton fan.
Patrick No See Walker
Who is it?
Kyle Yeomans
Luke Schoomaker.
Patrick No See Walker
Are you serious?
Kyle Yeomans
He is at the end of his rookie deal.
Nick Harris
Wow.
Kyle Yeomans
Going into the final year of his rookie deal as a second round pick, he is the oldest player in the tight end.
Patrick No See Walker
I would have never guessed.
Kyle Yeomans
And if that's the case, that shows two things. One, inexperience across the board. There's inexperience at that room, period.
Patrick No See Walker
Trigg.
Kyle Yeomans
I loved him out of the draft, trust me, I loved him at Baylor. I had a fourth round pick on him. So the fact that they got him as an undrafted free agent is a steal and I'm going to stand by that. However, he's got competition from other inexperienced players that have the same kind of athletic build, skill set, whatever you want to call it because Brevin Span Ford is there. Princeton Fanta's still bull. They love him top to bottom. He's sitting on the, on Patrick's hat currently. There's, there's, there are options there outside of Jake Ferguson. So if you're Luke Skumaker and you're the oldest in the room, you have to be looking in the rearview mirror and saying, oh, I had probably arguably my best year as a contributor. Maybe not statistically, he didn't have a great statistical blocking, but blocking and contributions and special teams, he did all that.
Isaiah Stanback
But he was a second.
Kyle Yeomans
But he was a second round pick.
Nick Harris
Yep.
Kyle Yeomans
You got to be better. And I think this year Luke knows that and is going to push for that. But he was a second round pick that hasn't lived up to it quite yet. And he's got a ton of competition this year, more than he ever has
Nick Harris
in the past between Brevy and Trigg. That's going to be fascinating to watch. I can't wait to see.
Kyle Yeomans
They're going to be training camp minicamp standouts. They're going to make a play, man.
Nick Harris
Oh yeah, for sure. In that room too Revispan. Ford is so athletic and not enough people are giving him credit for that. And I mean you saw it in like glimpses last season but my goodness. That and then also the measurables and like the. The kind of ceiling for a Michael Trigg. My goodness.
Kyle Yeomans
Tight end. And this is a credit to tight ends coach Linda Wells. Tight end might be the one position group on this team where it has one big name and then a bunch of names. But I still trust whoever's going to run out there.
Nick Harris
Oh yeah, for sure.
Kyle Yeomans
I still trust they'll be prepared whoever's going to play. Period.
Nick Harris
But will they make the play right now? I think it's in question. Yeah, I don't think it will be in question.
Patrick No See Walker
I do think.
Nick Harris
I think that will. That. That that whole position group will significantly improve.
Announcer
Yeah.
Patrick No See Walker
And if you're a schoolmaker you really have to. You better hit the ground running. And I mean that figuratively and literally because this coaching staff is showing they're not giving you grace. Based on your draft pick status you have Tyler Guyton, former first round pick in year three in an open competition with seventh round pick. So yeah, it's about putting the best guys out there. So scoon gotta. He's got to come with his. With his brain which is.
Nick Harris
Well, Greg in the. In the chat has a hot take. He says Ferg shouldn't have a stronghold on T1.
Patrick No See Walker
All right.
Nick Harris
I don't know about that but it is it. It is certainly a take that you put out there into the world. I disagree wholeheartedly.
Isaiah Stanback
I do as well.
Nick Harris
But it'll be interesting.
Patrick No See Walker
Of all the names that they have on the roster at tight end, literally no tight end has the chemistry with QB1 like Ferguson.
Kyle Yeomans
I wonder. I'm kind of just thinking about the comments specifically. I wonder if he's saying because of the tight end situation he has a stronghold. But you put anybody else that's a top level tight end in the NFL in this room, Ferg would not have a stronghold. But he does have a stronghold.
Nick Harris
Right.
Kyle Yeomans
I get the conversation. I think that's what he's trying to say. I don't want to put words in the commenter's mouth there, but I do think that's part of the conversation that's being had there.
Unidentified Guest
I think so.
Kyle Yeomans
Which I get. But also he's a two time Pro Bowler and he, he's been nothing but solidified for you when you're. When he's available, he is a contributor. It's a solid and I love that.
Nick Harris
And when attention is taken off of him, when he's not the only tight end weapon out there, I mean, he's going to thrive.
Kyle Yeomans
Is he George Kittle? No. Is he Travis Kelce? No. But very, very few are. And those guys come few and far between and that's why they last in the league and they stay on the Same team for 45 years.
Patrick No See Walker
Right.
Kyle Yeomans
Joking, obviously. But that's why you still see Mark Andrews in Baltimore. That's why you still see George Kittle in San Francisco. You still see Kelsey in Kansas City. Because when you get one of those special guys, you hold on to them for as long as you possibly can. Ferguson can become that. Remember, he's still young too. I think there's an element to that. But I get what he's trying to say, I believe.
Patrick No See Walker
I just don't think you could have any justifiable comment about Ferguson not being tight end one when we all agreed that you don't even know who tight end two is yet. If you don't know who TE2 is, is.
Nick Harris
Yeah.
Patrick No See Walker
Figure that out and then see if TE2 that. That, you know, whoever emerges as TE2, then see if they have what it takes to push TE1. But until you figure out the second seat, don't worry about the first seat.
Nick Harris
But like Kyle just said, I think the conversation more so. The hot take on his end. More so. Is about like the room as a whole and that position needing an upgrade.
Patrick No See Walker
Yeah.
Nick Harris
Overall, not just Ferg.
Patrick No See Walker
Yeah. And it, I mean, I don't knock the opinion. You know, the opinion is the opinion. And I mean it's. It starts a good conversation.
Xavier (Kyle's son)
Yeah, I do.
Patrick No See Walker
Yeah, of course it starts a good conversation. I do disagree, but I welcome, I welcome the difference in opinion, though.
Kyle Yeomans
The one comment says making the Pro bowl ain't saying much. I know, I get it. But it is depending on. It depends on the position, that kind of thing. All right, Isaiah, who was your player to watch?
Isaiah Stanback
Oh, I'm ready.
Josh Rodriguez
Yeah?
Isaiah Stanback
Yeah.
Kyle Yeomans
Is it you?
Isaiah Stanback
No, I'm ready.
Kyle Yeomans
Oh, ready.
Patrick No See Walker
Are you ready?
Isaiah Stanback
Oh, yeah.
Xavier (Kyle's son)
Ready.
Chris Beam
Stewart,
Patrick No See Walker
I was about to say, you ready to go in? What Are you talking, you ready to lace him back up? Like what are we talking about?
Isaiah Stanback
No. Ready Stewart. Ready Stewart. We're talking about minicamp, correct?
Kyle Yeomans
Yep.
Isaiah Stanback
One thing that we know about Ready Stewart is when the lights come on in the game, he's going to be ready to play, he's going to be ready to come downhill, he's gonna be ready to hit, hit and tackle. R, E, D D. Yeah, he stays ready.
Patrick No See Walker
Okay, ready's ready. It's a good stool.
Isaiah Stanback
There's no questions about his ability to play physical. It's about the technical aspect of him being able to cover and if he can add the COVID aspect to his game, I think the sky's the limit for him. I really do. Now, I understand he's listed as a nickelback. I understand that you just drafted arguably the the most dominant player in college football last year for his position. Right. But we're talking about multiple schemes here. And if Ready Stewart is able to receive the coaching and if you haven't seen what type of coaching is going on, go to the Cowboys YouTube page and look at sounds from the sideline and watch the attention to detail from the steps, the footwork at the line of scrimmage, to the hand placement, to the, the timing of hands, the location of hands, the timing of. There's so much detail being placed on coverage skills. If you take a natural athlete, which ready is who has aggression, which ready has the physicality and the tackling ability, which check, check, Ready Stewart has and now you teach him how to cover, what does that do for the rest of your secondary? Who you have a low cost player who possesses all the abilities and traits that you want out of a high priced player who can also blitz and it can also allow your number one pick to go play wherever the heck he wants.
Kyle Yeomans
Yeah.
Isaiah Stanback
It gives you free range. No chicken. Yes, sir.
Patrick No See Walker
I have a question.
Isaiah Stanback
Yes, sir.
Patrick No See Walker
My Isaiah arm is up. My arm is up. Love Ready Stewart. Love everything he brings. And you're absolutely correct on his potential, what he needs to develop 100%. Who's your nickel right now? Having this conversation. Who's your nickel?
Isaiah Stanback
Caleb?
Patrick No See Walker
Okay, I was just curious your mindset on that. No, he.
Isaiah Stanback
No, he is.
Kyle Yeomans
But no Jalen Thompson right this second?
Isaiah Stanback
No, I think Caleb is their guy right now. I mean, I mean the thing is it's interchangeable and one thing that you want out of your nickel is somebody who obviously can cover, right? Somebody who's physical at the line of scrimmage, but also somebody who has the capabilities of having the timing and ability to blitz. And that's what Ready has. Right? So if Ready has the capability at. By the time training camp was around to actually be able to cover slots in this league comfortably. Not telling them I don't need them to be dominant, but, you know, I need 70. He's shown flashes, right. But now you take the coaching, right? You apply that to him. Right. If he. I'm assuming that he's absorbing all of that information you have, you literally opening up that entire middle of the field for your secondary. And now you really can start interchanging guys. And I know somebody's in the comments gonna say, well, he's no pro. Listen, I don't give a dog on what you're saying. I watch football and I understand football. That dude. Dude can play. And if you can, if he. If you have the confidence to put him on the field and cover, everybody else can run around.
Patrick No See Walker
Everybody.
Isaiah Stanback
I'm talking about from downs to lock to everybody else, Durant, all those guys, everybody becomes interchangeable. Because now you're saying I have multiple guys in the secondary that possess the abilities, incapabilities that I need to execute my defense. And if I don't have to slot guys in a. In a specific position because of lack of. Lack of fluidity out of other guys, then I literally become multiple. That means whatever you throw out there, I have a guy for you. You want to come out there in 21, cool. You want to come out there in 11, cool. You want to come out there in 10, cool. Right. I could put anybody out there, and we're good. And if I have Caleb Downs on one side and a Ready Stewart on the other side, because we're out here in dime, you don't know who's coming. Yeah, they both can cover whoever you put in the slot, whether it's a tight end or whether it's a quick receiver.
Nick Harris
And.
Isaiah Stanback
And we have the ability to blitz off both sides. What does that do for everybody?
Kyle Yeomans
It's huge opens, everybody.
Nick Harris
I really like those words. Yeah, I really do. Those are. Yeah, I like what you're saying.
Kyle Yeomans
My player to watch. I don't know if I would say he's under the radar, per se, because
Nick Harris
Dak Prescott, CD Lamb.
Kyle Yeomans
I think I want to learn more about Jaden Park Blue. I want to learn more about this running back to situation because I like those words. Well, I'm not impressed in what I've seen. I don't like those words. And I want to see more from Jaden Blue. I want to see more from the Running Back 2 competition. Because I've said it before and I said it again. You expected Javante Williams to come in and be your bell cow. I don't think you expected him to do what he did in 2025. You expected him to be your RB1. You didn't expect him to put up 1200 yards.
Isaiah Stanback
You take that from me.
Patrick No See Walker
I was about to say credit to Isaiah. Don't you take that from me. Don't you take that away from me.
Kyle Yeomans
This guy's going to be pretty good. And I believe in Geronto. So all of that to be true behind him. I am worried. Question marks behind him. It is a huge question mark. It's Mafa, it's Blue, Mafa, Malik Davis. It's those guys that are there and I'm not saying they can't do the job. I just want to see them take steps forward into the job.
Nick Harris
You need the evidence.
Kyle Yeomans
I need some level of evidence. And you're not going to get it until the preseason for the most part. But you will get to see right place, right time. Which last year was a battle for Jaden Blue. That was the one guy last year that I remember out of minicamp. It was. Oh, he wasn't picking up the playbook the same way.
Isaiah Stanback
And that's the thing.
Kyle Yeomans
Assignments the same way. Louis Vuitton, you can't have that.
Isaiah Stanback
Two major categories that distinguish. I guess we're talking about any running back on the depth chart. But specifically RB2. Do you protect the ball? Number one. Which we know that's been a question mark for.
Kyle Yeomans
Been a problem since college.
Isaiah Stanback
That he. Only he can answer. Okay. And then do you understand the responsibilities of the position? Those are the two pass pro outside
Nick Harris
of carrying the ball.
Xavier (Kyle's son)
Yeah.
Isaiah Stanback
But the thing is everybody can carry the ball.
Nick Harris
Yeah.
Patrick No See Walker
Yeah.
Isaiah Stanback
That's what I want people to understand. Right. That's a quarterback. Everybody in this league at running back can carry the ball. There's not one guy you can go all the way down to the seventh guy in the depth chart. They all can tote the rock. That's never. That's not a question. If you block it up, they can run it. Can they protect the ball and can they handle their. Their most of their blocking responsibilities? Those are the two distinguishing factors for running backs.
Nick Harris
And be also on the same frequency as QB1. To know if a play breaks down to know exactly where he's going to be and where he needs you to.
Isaiah Stanback
That's when you start getting into all the intangibles.
Patrick No See Walker
Exactly.
Isaiah Stanback
Can they catch out the backfield, are they explosive? Right? Like can they make guys miss and open fit? Like that's when you start getting to all the other things. But the first two things, things, can they protect the ball? Because if RB2 is in the game, I can't afford for him to put the ball on the ground. I can't afford for anybody put the ball on the ground. But specifically RB2, right. There's less grace there. And then can he handle the blocking responsibility? Does he understand the protections of the offensive line? So when my quarterback is making checks, he feels confident that his, his blind side is taken care of or the a gap taken care of or whatever right. He can make. He can make up for the lack of blocking up front of him. Mistakes happens at the offensive line, he can fill the gap, no worries, right? Everything's taken care of. Nobody on TV knows that anything bad happens happen because he took care of his responsibilities and he understood where they were vulnerable. Right? So those are the two categories that have to be taken care of. I believe, let's put it across the board. I believe if everybody possesses those abilities, everybody takes care of the ball and everybody is able to understand the blocking responsibilities. I put Mafa at the number two.
Patrick No See Walker
I think Mafa is definitely going to push for that. He's definitely going to push blue 100. And I will say this because this is a great look into the mindset of Blue. We talked about some immaturity last season, inconsistency and not upholding the standard in practice. This is Blue not a week or so ago. The story here that I pinned is on Dallas Cowboys.com's I didn't start off like I should have. Whether it was not practicing the right way or on a maturity level. His words, his words. I think I wasn't really there but now learning from all the vets and having the off season that I had, I think I'm ready to go. I'm a completely different person than I was this time last year. I think I made a whole 180 from where I was in quite a quote. So if you're wondering where Jay Blue's mindset is this year. Yeah, now, you know, I'm so happy
Isaiah Stanback
he said 180 cuz so often people.
Patrick No See Walker
Well, actually he said he did say 360. To be fair. He said 360, baby.
Kyle Yeomans
He's right back to where he was.
Nick Harris
With the brackets.
Patrick No See Walker
He said 360 and. And the media corrected him. So then he circled back, he's like 180. I had hope he said 180. It's my VI.
Kyle Yeomans
Well, that's what, that's what we're going to see. Was it a 180 or was it
Patrick No See Walker
a 300 and was it a full 360?
Kyle Yeomans
Oh, man. Jaden, Jaden, Jaden.
Patrick No See Walker
We love you, Jaden, but it is 180. It's 180 now, you know, but the mindset is perfect, man.
Isaiah Stanback
Listen, I did not, I had never heard the question quote. I didn't know what he.
Nick Harris
But you had to make sure. You had to make sure. Yeah.
Patrick No See Walker
And I'm going to be honest all, all the time. So I'm not going to. He said it, he got corrected. And he went with it because when he got corrected, he kind of laughed. He was like, oh, oh, it is. It's 180. It is 180. Yeah, I made 180. So I, I writ, I wrote, I
Kyle Yeomans
wrote the, the fre.
Patrick No See Walker
I wrote the correction. Oh, man. Jaden Bloom says he's not the same guy he was last year. He recognizes he had maturity issues. He is now mature. He cleats.
Nick Harris
Did he have on when he said it?
Patrick No See Walker
I didn't. He was at his locker. He has socks on. He has socks on.
Kyle Yeomans
Not the Louie.
Patrick No See Walker
And it wasn't Louis.
Kyle Yeomans
I don't see the Louis V's.
Patrick No See Walker
I'll let y', all, I'll let y' all talk to Jay Baller because he had a, the cleat. Cleats gate.
Isaiah Stanback
Funny.
Patrick No See Walker
He has. Yeah. He has an explanation about cleat gate. So I'll let y' all talk.
Kyle Yeomans
All right. Love it. Minicamp today on Wednesday and on Thursday. So Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, this week and then it's off until training camp for all the guys.
Nick Harris
Sad.

Kyle Yeomans

Nick Harris

Patrick No See Walker
Or for us comic nerds, the blind bag.
Kyle Yeomans
Yeah.
Patrick No See Walker
If you know, you know.
Kyle Yeomans
All right, before we get into our predictions, we got a little bit of an announcement here. This is a. This is a bittersweet one for sure. This is my last show with Dallas Cowboys Dot com.
Patrick No See Walker
He's not trolling, you guys.
Kyle Yeomans
And I'm not trolling because I thought
Patrick No See Walker
he was when he told me earlier.
Kyle Yeomans
I've been here for seven seasons, joined in 2019, worked all the way through the 2026 campaign. I grew up here. I became a husband here. I married my wife back in 2023 and then became a father while I was here. I had three triplets that were born in February of 2024. I've grown up a lot. I mean, some of you have been on the show in the comments section and been around since I started in 2020. And I appreciate you being patient with me, trying to find my footing. And it was always a dream job for me to be here. I grew up in Waco. I watched the Cowboys growing up with my dad. I went to church. When I came to the University of North Texas, I came to church at Valley Ranch Baptist Church. And I thought it was the coolest thing ever, that I could look across the parking lot and just see a glimpse of the building at Valley Ranch. Just see, like the top portion of, like, the step stool. I always thought that was the coolest thing. So to be able to call this place home and to be able to call these people family has just been the highlight of my career. And it's something that I will never, ever forget. And when we say talking Cowboys family, we mean it. So much so that I'm not even posting a goodbye because I've still got a couple weeks left. But this is our last show. My time is coming up to an end. I'm excited to share what I have moving forward very soon. It's an incredible opportunity. I'm super excited about it. It's a life changing chance for me and I can't wait to attack that head on. But it just won't be here in Dallas. And so I'm excited for that chapter, but this has been my favorite chapter so far, and it's just been an incredible ride to this point. I think all of the talking Cowboys, Cowboys family, the Dallas Cowboys family, my actual family in the building here. I wouldn't have this job if it wasn't for beam in the back. He called me up when I was done with minor league baseball. I was driving across the country. I was in the middle of Tennessee, and he said, hey, there's a production job open in the Cowboys facility. I know it's not on air and you want to be on air, but would you think about taking that job? I said, yeah, it's the Cowboys. Of course I want to get in the building. And then Derek and Nick, those guys upstairs, took a chance on me by letting me host the draft show first. And then a couple shows into the draft show, I got put on this podcast called Talking Cowboys. And then me and Isaiah have been on it ever since. And we've seen a couple renditions of guys like Heckma and Nick Harris and John Machota and Rob Phillips. Rob the island baby. All sorts of different voices and faces that have been on the show. And. And then we had Patrick in the fold. We have Josh in the fold, and it's just been so much fun. I have a blast every day coming into work with you guys. And if you don't tell, if you can't tell from watching it on air, I hope you're. I mean, are you living under a rock like, we have a blast working together, and it's going to be. It's going to be different and it's going to. It's going to hurt to say goodbye to all these guys and say goodbye to talking cowboys. But again, I cannot thank you guys enough for sticking with me, for enjoying the content and for taking the hard work that I've tried to put in and pour my soul into over the last seven years. Seriously, and clicking on stuff and digesting that content is your way of thanking me. And so now it's my turn to thank you for doing so. So love you guys. Always, always, always. Go Cowboys. Love you guys. And it's going to be incredible to watch you from afar.
Patrick No See Walker
Now, listen, real quick, real quick, quick. I'll give KY my very lengthy goodbye off the air, but the moment I came into this organization, KY has been a brother to me, right? So when I say that when he delivered this news and Isaiah and Josh can attest, I swore he was trolling. He thought I just knew this was rage bait. But all jokes aside, I could not be more proud of my brother Kai. I could not be more honest and saying no one's more deserving of the opportunity he's walking into, and he'll disclose that when the time comes. But this is one of the best professionals I've ever been around in my life. This is one of the best men and human beings I've ever been around in my life. And you will be sorely missed. And whoever we get in here, there is no replacing you at all. I look forward to them doing. Being the best them, but they're. There's one Ky, and he's sitting right there.
Announcer
I appreciate it.
Nick Harris
Perfectly said. No. Yeah. Kyle, thank you so much for everything, man. Taking a chance on me to come in, do the show with you has been a pleasure of mine. The fact that you see that in everybody around the building that has something more to give than what they're currently doing, and you try your best to kind of coach them along or help them along and. And give them guidance in whatever way that you possibly can. It's. It's refreshing to have a personality like that, that just to know in the world, not even necessarily in the workplace like you always are, helping people get better. So I can't thank you enough, Kyle.
Kyle Yeomans
I appreciate it.
Isaiah Stanback
Ky, you and I first came into this thing. You were only toes model and found you.
Kyle Yeomans
I had to pay rent. I'm sorry.
Chris Beam
No.
Patrick No See Walker
Ot.
Nick Harris
Sorry.
Josh Rodriguez
No.
Isaiah Stanback
The. Ky's been. He already knows, man. We've been talking for a minute, but he's. He's my bro, and he's. He. When I came into this industry, I was.
Chris Beam
Was.
Isaiah Stanback
I was vanilla. I didn't know crap. All I brought was work ethic and. And kind of a humility to kind of just. Just learn from everybody.
Josh Rodriguez
Yeah.
Isaiah Stanback
Ky was a dude that I kind of looked at as the bar. And ever since then, he's held me accountable through it all. We hold each other accountable. We can have real conversations from kids and wives and life to.
Kyle Yeomans
It became real. Real. Absolutely, real fast.
Isaiah Stanback
Absolutely. To. To life. And now further, you know, opportunities. I've had my further opportunities that I'm still striving for, and now, you know, he finally gets his. He finally gets his. His. His big opportunity. So more than deserving, beyond deserving. It's the beginning for him, so I'm excited to watch it, and it's awesome.
Patrick No See Walker
Somebody said in the chat, Kyle's holding out a training camp, and on that
Kyle Yeomans
note, I'll show up halfway through. What up, boys?
Patrick No See Walker
Cal's holding up For a new guy
Nick Harris
marches up to Jerry's office.
Kyle Yeomans
I love it. I love it. No, that's not what it is. But yeah, I love you guys. I'm trying to hold it together and be I'm not a normal crier. So when I'm a crier it's real ugly, ugly, real ugly. So I'm trying not to do that right now, but I know there will be tears shed pretty much as soon as the microphone is off. But yeah, love you guys. It's gonna be incredible. Now let's finish by doing the favorite thing I love doing, which is talking ball and talking about these Dallas Cowboys what's the season prediction? We're going in the training camp. There's still a long way to go and of course I'm sure you guys will do this again. We do this after the joint, after joint practices, after training camp is over. Just give me a win total and an expectation for you at this point in time.
Patrick No See Walker
I'm going to be a little modest with it. I don't think this is a 1314 win team. I do think I teeter between 10 and 11. I'm going to go with 11 wins. I think it's 11 wins. I, I, I don't think you pull it out against the Ravens. I think Lamar Jackson versus a a early like an infancy defense that's trying to find itself and some of the other I think you split with the Eagles. I think you split with the commanders schedule. Yeah. So I got 11 wins and I but I think that gets you into the playoffs and then by that point let's see if they've gelled enough on defense to make make a run.
Nick Harris
At this point I'm not ready to bloviate on any stats or predictions for the season but I will say 1111 wins conservatively.
Patrick No See Walker
Nice word.
Isaiah Stanback
You're such an encyclopedia, bro. I'm staking with 11 as well. Spe I between 11 and 1212 if it's a really good season.
Kyle Yeomans
I just think this Schedule 11's a good season.
Isaiah Stanback
This, this schedule is. It's tough.
Patrick No See Walker
It's tough.
Kyle Yeomans
It's.
Isaiah Stanback
I mean I know last year we looked at the schedule was like okay, well this block of games is tough.
Patrick No See Walker
This whole schedule is and now that scary guy is out in la so there's why would you bring that up? Like I'm 11 wins and he's not by himself. He won't that also. So yeah, offensive line better strap up. That's all I'm saying. But I got 11 wins. What about you it's not going to
Kyle Yeomans
be, you know, I, it's not going to be.
Isaiah Stanback
Josh is looking at me like, really? I'm like, yeah, joint practice will be interesting.
Kyle Yeomans
I, I've said it from the beginning. The way that this offense is. If you can keep the majority of your offense together and you can keep most of them healthy, I think your, your offensive line is going to take a step forward. I think your, your running back room, if you can solidify that and be okay, I feel much more confident about the offense. And then if the defense is just serviceable, not even good, just serviceable, get a middle of the pack, get them into the low 20s, then I think you're winning 10 games automatically just by how good the offense is going to be. Win them a couple extra possessions. I've been nothing but impressed with Christian Parker and what he's done. I've been nothing but impressed with the buy in that the coaching staff has gotten from these players and the conversations and the focus that has happened in the building. I'm going to say, I'm going to say 12 wins.
Patrick No See Walker
Okay.
Kyle Yeomans
I really think they can be something significant in the nfc, which in my opinion. I know the Rams are tough, I know the Seattle Seahawks are tough. And you got both of them on the schedule, that's going to be tough. I still think this team is as good as anybody in the NFC and it's going to be impressive to watch them, watch them grow because I've, I've believed in shoddy from the beginning. I've believed in the, the message from the offensive perspective. And we saw that last year. Now can we marry it with the defense? And then all of a sudden this
Patrick No See Walker
team is, can you fix those red zone?
Nick Harris
There was something about that team that you saw the three games of ten days and last season. There's something that you saw where the defense kind of flipped a switch and they connected and they were serviceable in that respect. And your offense was cooking.
Isaiah Stanback
Yeah, that's Gasolina.
Nick Harris
And that is the team you want to carry over. Like that glimpse that you saw in those three games, you want to carry that positivity over into the season. And especially if the defense is more serviceable than those three games. I mean, I'll take it, dude, you're
Kyle Yeomans
going to have an up and down roller coaster, of course, and they're going to happen.
Nick Harris
They're going to have time to figure it out as well. Like, you can't just automatically be who you are week one. So. No, I agree.
Kyle Yeomans
It's going to be a fun year. Can't wait to watch you guys cover it all the way through. Talking Cowboys will be back on the first week of training camp. Be sure to follow everywhere you can across the board and make sure that that you keep up with all these guys on their social channels because they do incredible work and they're incredible people as well. For Patrick no see Walker. For Josh Rodriguez, Isaiah stand back. Chris Beam in the back for one final time. I'm Kyle Yeoman saying along from Talking Cowboys. Enjoy the summer everybody. They'll see you in training. Can this has been a production of Dallas Cowboys.com and the Dallas Cowboys Football Club.
