So even this morning I went back and rewatched the. The big parts of the game just to try and refresh it. And the Cowboys, they. They took care of business. Was it perfect again?

No, no.

Was it better than what they've been showing? Yeah, yeah, absolutely it was. And it wasn't a 21 point spotting that allowed for a big time comeback. And this, it was a 14 point spot spotting. It felt like we're getting better. Yeah, we're moving in the right direction. But 31, 28, Patrick, the. The third straight win, it all speaks for itself.

But to defeat that team in that moment on that platform with the pressure squarely on your shoulders, it says a lot about what this football team is right now.

With only three days to prepare this Cowboys team, it looks different, it feels different. It's playing different on all levels. And are they perfect? No, they are not perfect at the moment. Let me continue. But I will say in. In coaching capacity, there are some things that both coaches want back. As far as Schottenheimer on the offensive side of the ball. There are some plays that eber FL back as well. But it just seems like there's something present in this coaching staff that I've not seen in. In recent previous coaching staffs. Which is the ability and the willingness to adapt as the game goes on. And it doesn't look like they're simply waiting for halftime to adapt. We've seen where they've adapted mid through the second quarter. Talk about the George Pickens touchdown to kind of help get things started against the Eagles in that 21 point comeback game. But they're adjusting in real time. So unfortunately, unfortunately, they're still getting off to these slow starts in the first quarter that they kind of have to dig themselves out of. Dak Prescott with the end zone interception. They had some self inflicted wounds. What do the Chiefs do? They do what the Chiefs do. They get the interception and then they march right down the field and they score the ball. And you start thinking to yourself, well, is the. Are the Cowboys ready? But then the good news is you get to think back to the Philadelphia Eagles game and you're like, hey, as long as it's not more than 21 points, these guys can get it done, right? Defense is showing up, offense is showing up. Javante Williams. Ooh, we Malik Davis. I see you.

It's impressive that the Cowboys have, I mean, what we've talked about, we've, we've been kind of shaking in our boots, arguably over this part of the schedule, and the Cowboys are now three and. Oh, in that gauntlet that we talked about. But to me, the, the most intriguing thing is the change in culture.

These are teams that you ordinarily would not win against, which is why we were shaking in our boots looking at this part of the schedule. But you have a team right now that believes in their head coach, that believes in the coaching staff, that feels that they are in every game, no matter how far they are down 21, and, oh, no, they're going to come back.

Nana, I feel very strongly that this team has the right mentality going into the gauntlet, going into the final half of this, the season. And I don't necessarily want to talk about seating or the scenarios that you need to get into. It's so early for that. To me, it's just about beating the team that's in front of you.

You're, you're the one that said they're going to make the playoffs before, before the buy, before the, the toe. I don't know. We ain't doing, we're not doing this. You said. No, no, no, no. The 8, 8 and 1 Cowboys will make the playoffs. You said. I said, I said that. I said that. But guess what?

Eight. Okay, so, so I'm just saying you talked about by a week because even the team. So teams that we thought were juggernauts of teams are not showing to be juggernauts. And teams pulling away in teams that we thought were trash are showing out not to be trash. So Panthers, Rams by week. Right? We took care of the Raiders, we took care of the Eagles, we took care of the Chiefs. Let's not get too crazy. When it happens or if it happens, it happens. We got Detroit.

So I halfway agree with you one, because that's how the team should look at it. That's how the people that are coaching and playing in the Game. And have an impact on the game.

However, the way that they're playing right now, in the way that they've taken steps forward, it does give you hope for a previously hopeless time on the schedule. That's where it's at. There is still hope. And what do I always say about.

Hope is not a strategy.

Exactly. That's not saying and it's not implying that the Cowboys will go and go on this magical run, but they are currently in the middle of a magical run. And if they get this one this week, who's to say that that doesn't continue? That's where the thought process is and that's where the phrasing needs to be, because it is not implying that the Cowboys are going to make the playoffs, nonetheless possibly win the Super Bowl. However, you have a chance in front of you to do it. You got to take it game by game. I completely agree with you. And that's the thing is this one this week against another team that is also the outside looking into the NFC playoff picture that also needs a big time win and that also has had some downtime recently. You're not just facing a Dan Campbell led Detroit Lions team in a corner. You are facing a lion backed against the wall with Dan Campbell, the one that's trying to lead the charge out of it. So it's not going to be an easy matchup on Thursday.
