Season 2 Episode 18: On this episode Cheyenne visits with Mike McClure, winemaker at Indian Creek Winery in Kuna, Idaho. Mike tells the story of how Indian Creek Winery came to be. It was all started by Bill Stowe, one of the pioneers of the Idaho wine industry. Bill found his love for wine while in the army during time stationed in Germany. Season 2 Episode 17: On this episode Cheyenne talks to owner/winemaker Art McIntosh and assistant winemaker Kelsie Dyell of Lindsay Creek Vineyards located in Lewiston, Idaho. Art tells the story of how the vineyard came to be and how his interest in becoming a winemaker was sparked from growing the fruit. Kelsie was recently added into the mix and the two discuss her involvement in the winery and the fantastic job she has done with elevating Lindsay Creek in their white wine program. Season 2 Episode 14: On this episode Cheyenne is in Buhl, Idaho at Holesinsky Vineyard and Winery with James and Caitlin Holesinsky. James tells us the story of how by chance he acquired some Chardonnay vines that were on their way to being tossed and that was the beginning of what would become the 2022 Idaho Winery of the Year. We learn how little by little the vineyard and winery grew to where they are today. Season 2 Episode 13: On this episode Cheyenne is at Hat Ranch Winery on the Sunnyslope Wine Trail in Caldwell, Idaho. She is joined by owner and winemaker at Hat Ranch, Tim Harless. They talk about how Tim came to Idaho and what brought him into the wine industry. Tim is a pilot gone winemaker and does a fantastic job. Season 2 Episode 12: In this episode Cheyenne visits Bev Williamson at her tasting room along the Sunnyslope wine trail. Bev tells the story of her family coming to the area during the homestead act and staking claim here. The Williamson family has a rich history in growing fruit and eventually moving into growing wine grapes as well. We learn about the evolution of the family moving into the wine business and where they are today. Johnna talks about moving her family to Idaho, how she and her husband, Trae, fell in love with wine and eventually took the plunge in planting their own vines and learning to make wine. Johnna tells the story of the land the winery is on and how they honor "Dude Dewalt" in the name and bring in some Idaho history. Dude Dewalt is going to be a name to watch in Idaho Wines.
