We're going to start looking into this whole thing with who signed this legislation. Who signed legislation opening our border. I don't think he knew. I said there's nobody that could want an open border. Nobody. And now I find out that it wasn't him. He auto penned it. Who was operating the auto pen.

Good Wednesday morning morning. So nice to have you with us on the 47 Morning Update. And we've got a very special show today. Tom Holman, the border czar, is going to join us in a moment and we're going to talk a lot about what's happening at the border as well as what's happening with fentanyl and the national security crisis. But before we get to that, our big story is going to be the fallout continues from Joe Biden's cancer announcement. As many doctors and people around Joe Biden are now saying they don't believe that the president just got cancer the other day. I'll have that for you as well, coming up in just a moment. But before we get to that, I'd like to tell you about my friends over at the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews. It's now the month of May and 80 years ago this very month, the horror of the Holocaust, the final solution, came to an end. But do you know that half of all Holocaust survivors actually live in Israel? They the pain of the past now intensified today by October 7, and the rise of anti Semitism everywhere. And along with other elderly Jews, thousands in Israel now live below the poverty line. There's no safety net. And that's why I support the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews and the work that they're doing. The fellowship provides a lifeline to these precious ones in the form of hot meals and boxes full of healthy food. And for only $25, you can now provide a food box. Former President Joe Biden's recent diagnosis of advanced prostate cancer has ignited significant political controversy and public debate, as it should, over whether his condition was concealed during his presidency. The diagnosis announced on the 18th, revealed that Biden had staged four prostate cancer that it metastasized his bone at a gleason score of 9, indicating a highly aggressive form of the disease. Now, this revelation has led to widespread scrutiny regarding the timing and transparency of his health disclosures. Critics now, including former President Donald Trump, have questioned whether Biden and his medical team were aware of the cancer earlier and chose to withhold the information from the public, just like they did with his cognitive decline. Trump has called for an investigation into the matter, suggesting that the concealment of such a serious health issue could have national security implications as well. And that's not all. Medical experts have expressed surprise that such an advanced cancer was not detected earlier, especially given Biden's access to premier health care. As the president. Some have pointed out that prostate cancer typically develops over many years, raising serious questions now about the frequency and the thoroughness of Biden's medical evaluations or if they knew what was going on and they just decide to conceal it from the American people. The controversy has also been fueled by the release of the new book Original Sin, which alleges that Biden's cognitive decline began before he even took office and was concealed by all of his top advisers and cabinet members. The book suggests his health issues may have influenced his decision making and leadership during his presidency. Now, in response to the allegations, a spokesman for Biden's personal office stated that prior to the recent diagnosis, Biden had not been diagnosed with prostate cancer. Despite all of that, many Americans are just not believing what they're hearing. With good reason and with real doubt. Even MSNBC and Joe Scarborough had a conversation with a doctor about this whole episode with Joe Biden. Here's what they said.
MSNBC Oncologist
Europe, you're an oncologist, obviously incredibly respected. You believe that it is likely. Just for those just tuning in, you believe it is likely if this prostate cancer has spread to the bone, that he could have had it for up to a decade, but certainly is likely. Would it be fair to say it's likely to have had this for at least several years?
Oh, more than several years. You don't get prostate cancer.
Again, I just, I just want to stop you. So this is, this is not speculation. If you have prostate cancer that is spread to the bone, then he's most certainly, you are saying had it when he was president of the United States.
Oh, yeah. He did not develop it in the last hundred, two hundred days. He had it while he was president. He probably had it at the start of his presidency in 2021. Yes, that. I don't think there's any disagreement about that.
Ben Ferguson
That's coming from MSNBC saying that there's no doubt he had it probably before he became president. CBS THIS Morning also getting in on the action as well, talking to their medical experts. And here's what was said. It took a while to do that.
CBS Medical Expert
Wouldn't he be getting regular checkups? Yeah. So it depends on the kind of cancer you're talking about here. We do know it's quite aggressive again, so the time in which it would take to spread to the bones is going to be shorter than with a less aggressive cancer. And he's 82. Normally, doctors will stop screening for prostate cancer at 6, 75 or so because after that, the prostate cancers you typically pick up are very slow growing. And so the harms of all of the testing and treatment for something that may not kill you, you know, you're talking about risk versus benefit. It may not be worth the risk.
Ben Ferguson
Isn't there a blood test that men can take to know if they have an issue that might warrant Further examination.
CBS Medical Expert
So there's something we call a PSA test. But that can also be indicative of many different things. It could just be you have an enlarged prostate, maybe you have a low grade infection in the prostate. There are many things that can cause that. And so this is again why after a certain age, doctors will typically stop screening for prostate cancer.
Political Commentator
Wow.
CBS Medical Expert
But in his case, it's not screening. It's important to emphasize this was diagnostic because he had urinary symptoms. And so there was a reason to do more testing.
Ben Ferguson
One thing is for sure, the questions around the honesty of Biden, his team, his cabinet in the administration was. Are all on full display. Is now even the mainstream media is running away from him and admitting that this team is basically filled with pathological liars. And there's no reason to believe the story that they're selling that this is something that maybe just happened. Instead, there's real reasons to question when did they know it and how long have they been concealing it from the American people?
Now, story number two.
There is one man that is fighting tooth and nail to keep all Americans safe and getting rid of violent criminals that are in this country illegally. His name is Tom Holman and he's the border czar. And I was able to sit down with him and ask him several questions about exactly where we are in the fight to get rid of so many people that broke into this country illegally. And here is what he had to say. You mentioned budget a moment ago and how important it is to have the budget for you guys to continue your job. Explain for everyone listening, is that referencing that the big beautiful bill and what is in there that you need so much to continue to do your job at the border?
Podcast Host
Well, we want to make the border secure permanently. So we need more infrastructure. Right. So we need to finish building that wall. Now, let's be clear. Every place they build a border barrier, illegal immigrations went down, illegal drug flow went down. But most importantly, walls save lives. Women and children can't get over that wall. The most vulnerable. So they go to a place where there's not a wall and what's waiting on them, the men and women of the border Patrol, first of all, so the wall saves lives. So we need to finish the border barrier. We need money to finish the technology within the existing border wall. Because not only did President Biden stop construction of the wall, he stopped adding the technology in that smart wall. Technology that lets us know when someone climbs a wall, touches wall, dig under that wall. Technology where border patrol agents in the middle of nowhere can get on a radio and use a wall as a repeater to talk to other agents for help. There are some places on the southern border where they lose all communication. So all that technology needs to be done. More technology at port of entry to make sure no fentanyl is coming. Enforcement, we need beds. Right now we got about 52,000 people in detention. We're funded at 34,000. ICE is already in the hole. We need about 100,000 beds because everybody we arrest needs a bed. We just don't rest somebody in New York City and put them on plane leave. We got to detain them for several days to several weeks to get travel documents, get flight arrangements, flight clearances. So we need beds. So we need, you know, so this budget that the pending budget right now, the big beautiful bill will give us money for those beds. They're going to give us thousands of more border legions thousand more ICE agents. It's going to give ICE a budget to bring in more contracts up. What I mean by that, badges and guns shouldn't be sitting at a desk doing reports processing. They shouldn't be sitting at a desk doing travel documents and all the administrative duties that occur within ice. You can have a contractor sitting there doing that work. Give that badge and gun, get them out on the street to arrest the public safety threats and national security threats. So we need the money. Like I said, we're doing more than Biden did. But Biden wasn't doing anything. We need to do 10 times more than buying two, not three times more. And I'll leave you with this. We got 700,000 illegal aliens in this country with a criminal conviction walking the streets of this country. We got to get them. We got to get them quickly. We got 1.4 million illegal aliens who do had due process that great taxpayer expense were ordered removed by a federal judge and didn't leave and they become fugitives. We got a lot of work to do. We need money to do more. We're doing good, but more money we have, the more we can do.
Ben Ferguson
Tom, you mentioned finding them all. Let's talk about sanctuary cities for a second. It's very clear Democrats are not backing off of that. How dangerous is the policy and who is being harbored in these cities that are refusing to work with you guys? Will there be accountability? Are they harboring Ms. 13 gang members and domestic terrorists? Foreign terrorists. Those that are putting the fentanyl out in society. How dangerous are these cities?
Podcast Host
Well, they're dangerous. They're dangerous for everybody. Because in a sanctuary City means I don't have access to jail or arrest a bad guy. Public safety threat. In the safety and security of the jail, were the aliens safe, the officers safe and the public safe. When sanctuary cities knowingly leaves a public safety threat back in the street, it certainly puts a community at risk, even puts the alien at risk, because anything can happen during a street arrest and it puts the officers at great risk because now we got to arrest a criminal alien public safety threat on his turf. He has access to who knows what weapons. It's very dangerous. And yes, we'll hold sanctuary cities accountable as Pam Bonnie's already filed lawsuits against several. We're, we're, we're working with DOJ now again. We want, we want. Where's that bright? Where's that, where's that line? When do you cross that line? You can sit there and watch ICE do your job. Because here's what irritates me the most. I don't care what party you're in, if you're an elected mayor, elect a city council person or elected governor, your number one responsibility is the safety and security of your neighborhoods, your communities. ISIS has been clear from the beginning with President Trump. We're going to prioritize public safety threats and national security threats. Why will you not help us make your community safer? There's no downside on that. And sanctuary cities want to argue, well, we're a sanctuary city because we want victims and witnesses of crime, if they're illegally in the United States, to feel comfortable coming to the law enforcement without fear of working with others. That is a bunch of crap. Victims and witnesses of crime don't want the bad guy in the neighborhood either. And as far as the illegal alien community, I'll say this, despite being here illegally, many of them are God fearing family people. They don't want a predator in their neighborhood either. They don't want someone convicted DUI 10 times driving through their neighborhood either. So, you know, if you go to the immigrant community and ask them one simple question, would you rather have ICE operating in the jail or in your community? What do you think they're going to say? They're going to say the jail. So sanctuary cities will be held accountable. Matter of fact, we're reissuing the ICE detainer. We just changed the new ICE detainer. We're letting in black and white. Let them know this person is a designated terrorist, this person is a designated returned felon. We're going to let them know exactly who they're detaining based on biographic and biometric information and see what they do. Are they going to violate Lakes and Riley Act? Then we'll go out to prosecution. Are they going to know any release of terrorists? Then we're going to go out to prosecution. So it's about to get a lot tougher and it's the right thing to do.
Ben Ferguson
I want to go back to accountability for a second, Tom, and I want to ask you. There are a lot of people that believe that there were laws that were broken deliberately in the last administration. They knew they were breaking the law. One of those would be former Homeland Security Secretary Mayorkas that you mentioned a moment ago. Should he be criminally prosecuted for his role in the border crisis? If it was as deliberate as it now seems.
Tom Holman
Look, I think what he did was borderline treasonous. I'm not an attorney, I'm not a prosecutor, but what he did, he did more damage to this country. Him and the Biden administration, what they did to this country. I can tell you when they opened that border up, sex trafficking, women increased tenfold. A record number of migrants died making that journey. Over 4,000, a record number of Americans died from fentanyl that come across that open border. And it's just what he calls this country. And from a national security perspective, because here's what his orders were. Process quick release quick. They didn't care about the crisis. They cared about the optics of the crisis. If there's no overcrowding, there's nothing to see here. So border trades were processing as quick as they could and releasing as quick as they could. And there's been several instances where they released so quickly, the FBI scanned and come back and it came back hot after they already been released. They came back hot as a known inspected terror. So, yeah, what he did was unconscionable. What he did is, in my opinion, borderline treasonous. He should be held accountable because a lot of deaths occurred under his watch. And look at like Senator Cruz said a few minutes ago, right now, 96% decline in illegal immigration when 96% less people are coming. How many women aren't being raped? How many children aren't dying crossing that border? How many, no suspected terrorists aren't getting in the country. How many pounds of fentanyl is not getting the country.
Podcast Host
What are you going to see?
Tom Holman
Under President Trump's administration, fentanyl deaths would decrease. Sex trafficking would decrease, Smuggling would decrease. And no inspector terrorists, they got no open net anymore. Now that we got the board secure, every single board of trilogy is on the line on patrol doing his national security duty under Joe Biden. It was an average, Most days, an average 70%, 7 0. 70% of agents were no longer on patrol. They were changing diapers, making baby formula, making hospital runs. The last time I went down there before the election, I talked to hundreds of board police and told them to hang on, hang on. Change is coming. I really think President Trump's going to win where they told me no. We're sick of being tourist stations. We're sick of being Uber drivers. We process and deliver these people to the very same people who pay for their smuggling. They couldn't recruit. They couldn't.
Podcast Host
People were quitting.
Tom Holman
They were quitting before they even eligible for retirement. They couldn't read the recruiting numbers. You know, last month, Ice, excuse me, Borbatro, had the highest recruiting numbers in the history of that agency just last month.
Ben Ferguson
I gotta say, there's so many Americans that are so thankful that Donald Trump picked Tom Homan to lead in this role. And it's also very clear that he's not stopping. He is going to continue to fight for Americans and make sure that these violent criminals and those that are human trafficking, sex trafficking, bringing in fentanyl at record numbers and killing American citizens are out of this country for good. He also is fighting hard to secure our southern border and continue to build the wall. A promise that Donald Trump said will be done while he's in office during the next four years.

Podcast Summary: The 47 Morning Update with Ben Ferguson Episode: "Biden’s Diagnosis a State of Secrecy plus Tom Homan’s Plan to Secure America" Release Date: May 21, 2025
Introduction
In this compelling episode of The 47 Morning Update, host Ben Ferguson delves into two critical and timely issues shaping the national discourse: President Joe Biden's recent prostate cancer diagnosis and the ongoing challenges of securing America's southern border. With insightful commentary and an exclusive interview with Tom Holman, the border czar, Ferguson provides listeners with a comprehensive analysis of these pressing matters.
Ben Ferguson opens the episode by addressing the bombshell announcement of President Joe Biden's advanced prostate cancer diagnosis. Revealed on May 18th, Biden disclosed that the cancer had metastasized to his bones, characterized by a Gleason score of 9, indicating a highly aggressive form of the disease. This revelation has sparked significant political controversy and public debate over the transparency and timing of the disclosure.
Key Points:
Timing and Transparency: Critics, including former President Donald Trump, allege that Biden and his medical team may have been aware of the cancer long before the public announcement. Ferguson highlights the skepticism surrounding whether the diagnosis was concealed to protect Biden's political standing.
"Former President Donald Trump has called for an investigation into the matter, suggesting that the concealment of such a serious health issue could have national security implications." [02:00]
Medical Expert Opinions: Ferguson references discussions from major media outlets where oncologists questioned the plausibility of Biden's cancer being undetected for so long, especially given his access to premier healthcare.
MSNBC Oncologist Insights:
"If you have prostate cancer that is spread to the bone, then he's most certainly had it... He had it while he was president. He probably had it at the start of his presidency in 2021." [06:53]
CBS Medical Expert Commentary:
"This was diagnostic because he had urinary symptoms. And so there was a reason to do more testing." [08:52]
Implications of Concealment: The episode delves into the potential reasons behind the delayed disclosure, including the impact on public trust and national security. Ben Ferguson questions the integrity of Biden's administration, suggesting that the concealment might extend beyond health issues to cognitive decline.
"Is now even the mainstream media is running away from him and admitting that this team is basically filled with pathological liars." [08:23]
Book Allegations: Ferguson references the release of the book Original Sin, which alleges that Biden's cognitive decline predated his presidency and was systematically concealed by his inner circle, potentially affecting his decision-making and leadership.
Conclusion of Section: Ferguson emphasizes the growing distrust among Americans regarding the administration's transparency, highlighting the urgency for accountability and clearer communication about the President's health.
Transitioning from national security concerns about presidential health, Ferguson introduces Tom Holman, the current border czar, to discuss the critical state of America's southern border. Holman provides a detailed overview of the measures needed to enhance border security, curb illegal immigration, and combat the influx of fentanyl and other illicit activities.
Key Points:
Infrastructure and Technology Enhancements:
Holman underscores the necessity of completing the border wall and integrating advanced technology to monitor and secure the border effectively.
"We need to finish building that wall. Every place they build a border barrier, illegal immigrations went down, illegal drug flow went down. But most importantly, walls save lives." [09:59]
He elaborates on the specific technologies required:
"Technology that lets us know when someone climbs a wall, touches wall, digs under that wall... ensuring border patrol agents can communicate effectively." [09:59]
Resource Allocation for ICE:
Addressing the overcrowded detention facilities, Holman calls for increased funding to provide adequate beds and resources for ICE operations.
"We're funding at 34,000. ICE is already in the hole. We need about 100,000 beds because everybody we arrest needs a bed." [09:59]
He also advocates for reallocating administrative duties to contractors, allowing agents to focus on front-line enforcement:
"Badges and guns shouldn't be sitting at a desk... give them to agents to arrest public safety threats." [09:59]
Combating Sanctuary Cities:
Holman vehemently criticizes sanctuary cities, asserting that they hinder effective law enforcement and public safety.
"Sanctuary cities mean I don't have access to jail or arrest a bad guy. Public safety threat." [12:58]
He details the strategies to hold these cities accountable, including legal actions and stricter detainment protocols based on biographic and biometric information.
"We're reissuing the ICE detainer... see what they do. Are they going to violate Lakes and Riley Act? Then we'll go out to prosecution." [12:58]
Accountability for Previous Administration:
Ferguson probes Holman on the potential legal repercussions for former Homeland Security Secretary Mayorkas and others accused of deliberately undermining border security.
"What he did was borderline treasonous... he should be held accountable because a lot of deaths occurred under his watch." [15:52]
Holman passionately describes the detrimental impact of past policies on public safety and national security, emphasizing the urgent need for corrective measures.
"Under President Trump's administration, fentanyl deaths would decrease. Sex trafficking would decrease... now that we got the border secure, every single border patrol is on duty." [17:22]
Recruitment and Staffing Challenges:
Highlighting the strained resources, Holman notes the high turnover rates and the necessity for revitalizing ICE's workforce.
"People were quitting before they were even eligible for retirement." [18:11]
However, he expresses optimism about recent recruitment efforts, indicating a potential rebound in staffing levels.
"Last month, ICE had the highest recruiting numbers in the history of that agency." [18:26]
Conclusion of Section: Tom Holman presents a robust plan aimed at overhauling the current border security framework, advocating for enhanced infrastructure, technological advancements, increased funding, and stringent enforcement actions against sanctuary cities. His vision aligns with a broader agenda to restore America's borders' integrity and ensure national security.
Final Thoughts
Ben Ferguson encapsulates the episode's dual focus on transparency in presidential health and the imperative of securing America's borders. By addressing both internal governance issues and external security challenges, Ferguson provides listeners with a nuanced understanding of the factors currently influencing national stability and public trust.
