Well, happy Memorial Day from all of us here at Verdict with Ted Cruz, Ben Ferguson with you. And I just want to take a moment to say thank you to every single one of you that has served this country, worn a badge and for all of those that have given the ultimate sacrifice to protect and defend this country and our freedoms. Senator Cruz and I want to say thank you. You know, Memorial Day weekend, so many people just think of it as a Monday off, a three day weekend, a time to, you know, hang out with family and friends and cook out. And that is certainly a part of the tradition. But one of the things that I just want to make sure we take a moment and pause is remind everyone in your family, your kids and your grandkids that this day is about so much more than just a Monday off. This day is about honoring those that have fought and protected and defended and given the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms. And that is something that is so important that we not lose that opportunity to talk to our kids and our grandkids about it. I am going to be doing that today and honoring veterans as I cook out having some incredible American heroes over in my little way of saying thank you. And I hope that you will do the same to anyone that you know that serve this country. Thank them for their service to what they have done. And I hope that you have a fabulous Memorial Day with your family and your friends. And to many who are going to be sad and have a somber Memorial Day remembering their loved ones that they've lost, don't forget them. Because today as we're grilling out, many of them are going to be visiting their loved ones in their funeral homes where they have laid to rest. And that is something that I will never forget. Having family and friends have lost people serving this country and that is what they do on Memorial Day. Let's not forget the ultimate sacrifices. With that being said, also, I know so many of you are traveling, be safe on the road. And here are some of the big subjects the center and I talked about this past couple of weeks that I want to make sure you hear about. Senator, let's talk about the a bigger overview picture. We have known for quite some time, but it's really come out recently that there was a lot of money coming in from foreign nations that are adversaries of the US into college campuses. We now see what they were buying, which was they were buying influence over a generation. We see massive donations that went into the Biden Penn center, for example, directly from China. And now we're saying that it's not just buying influence to to and minds of college students at the Ivy Leagues and other schools. But now they moved into direct activism with these campus protests, which seems to be phase two of their plan.
Ted Cruz
Ben that's exactly right. There's a major report that came out on Monday this week from ncri. NCRI is the Network Contagion Research Institute. This is the same group that put out the empirical studies of TikTok and how the Chinese Communist government was pushing communist propaganda on TikTok and it led to ultimately Congress passing passing the legislation forcing the Chinese Communist government either to sell TikTok or shut down in the us so NCRA is a NCRI rather is a serious organization that does serious research. The report they put out, I want to go into it in detail because it's getting getting very little coverage and it should get a lot of coverage. Here's how it begins. Quote this report analyzes the activities and foreign connections of the Shut it down for Palestine SIDP SID4Pmovement since its formation in October 2023. It examines SID4P's use of protests, direct action initiatives and sophisticated media campaigns to advance anti America and anti Israel narratives both online and offline. Additionally, it highlights the involvement of a network linked to the Chinese Communist Party that funds and supports both alternative anti establishment media organizations promoting anti American initiatives as well as seemingly grassroots activist movements such as and including Sid4P. So here are the key takeaways and assessments. Number one Sid4P's emergence shut it down for Palestine is an anti capitalist, anti police and anti government protest movement that emerged after October 7, 2023. It functions as a hybrid online real world network for mobilizing frequent demonstrations as well as a gradually escalating direct action campaigns targeting critical infrastructure and public spaces. 2. Sid4P's ties to CCP linked entities, conveners or organizations operating under the Sid4P umbrella are members of the Singham Network donor portfolio. The Singham Network is a global network, global web of nonprofits, fiscal sponsors and alternative news sources tied to Neville Roy Singham, a known conduit for CCP geopolitical influence. 3. SID4P's funding the Singham network exploits regulatory loopholes in the US nonprofit system to facilitate the flow of enormous sum of US Dollars to organizations and movements that actively stoke social unrest at the grassroots level. 4. Alternative media and Social Media Strategy Alternative media outlets associated with the Singham Network have played a central role in online mobilization and cross platform social amplification for Sid4P and 5. Ties to extremist groups. Sid4P has ties to extremist groups that embrace a violent single state resolution to the Israeli Palestinian conflict. At least one SID4P convener is linked to the extreme edge of pro Palestinian groups operating in the US that advance anti American and anti Jewish agendas.

Let me ask you a question real quick. If you knew that you were giving money to a company that was supporting hardcore lefties running for office, if you knew you were giving money to a company that was supporting Planned Parenthood, if you knew that you were giving money to a company that was giving money to take away your first and second amendment rights, would you keep doing it and do it every single month? Well, if you're with Big Mobile, that's exactly what is happening. You may not realize it, but now you know Big Mobile supports big leftist causes including Planned Parenthood. And that's why I want you to make the switch to Patriot Mobile. For more than a decade, Patriot Mobile has been America's only Christian conservative wireless provider. And the number one reason why people don't switch cell phone providers. They think it takes forever. And it used to used to have to go into a store. You had to sit there, you had to port your number over. It was exhausting. And so people are like, forget it, I'll just stick with what I've got. It doesn't work that way anymore. In fact, you can switch right now to Patriot Mobile over the phone. It is incredibly easy because of technology now. And you get to keep your same cell phone number you have and you can keep the same cell phone you have in your hand right now or you can upgrade to a new one. Now here's the best part. When you switch to Patriot Mobile, they actually take about 5% of your bill every month at no extra cost to you. And they fight for the values that we believe in. That's right. Your bill every month goes to support free speech, religious freedom, the sanctity of life, as well as supporting our second amendment. And then they do something else. That's amazing. They stand with our military veterans, our wounded warriors and our first responder heroes. So in essence, when you make a phone call, when you pay your bill every month, you're standing up for what you believe in. Just go to patriotmobile.com verdict that's patriotmobile.com verdict. Or call them at 972 Patriot. That's 972 Patriot. And here's the other thing. You'll get free activation when you use the offer code verdict patriot mobile.com verdict or 9, 7, 2, patriot. This is next level. And it's obviously being orchestrated at the highest levels within these governments. And it's not just China, it's also Cuba that is involved in this as well. And this seems to be part two of their, of their master plan China. And I'm guessing on this one, but based on what we've seen from disclosures on donations, probably is giving more money to American universities than any other nation would be my guess. And if they're not the top, they're probably one, two or three. I can't even imagine who would be above them. We see massive money coming into the Ivy Leagues, massive money that came in the Biden Penn center. The list goes on and on. But this is almost like, okay, how do we infiltrate a country? How do we change the opinion of the people in that country? And then how do we have literally have revolutions in that country? And they're doing it all in front of our very eyes and no one seems to be stopping it.
Ted Cruz
Well, that, that, that is right. And if you look at this report from ncri, it details how China is spending millions upwards of potentially $100 million funding these protests that are occurring on campuses that are shutting down bridges, that are shutting down airports. And you might think, okay, what does China care about Hamas? What does China care about Israel? And the truth of the matter is they don't. But they care about America. They care about tearing our country apart. They care about chaos and fomenting dissent and dissension that paralyzes our country. Let me read another portion from this report from the NCRI. On the evening of April 30, 2024, over 100 activists gathered at the People's Forum, a far left nonprofit in Manhattan that describes itself as a movement incubator for working class and marginalized communities to discuss the ongoing Gaza encampments on university campuses. The activists called on Columbia protesters to recreate the civil unrest associated with, quote, the summer of 2020. Remember the summer of love. Hours later, Columbia University's Hamilton hall was forcibly occupied and barricaded. After the hall was subsequently cleared by law enforcement, the New York Police Department reported finding industrial grade chains, gas masks, earplugs, helmets, goggles, hammers, knives and ropes. Following processing, the Washington Post reported, per NYPD, that more than 25% of the arrest at Columbia University and 60% at the city College of New York were not students. This is communist China paying real money to disrupt America and to sow dissension. And by the way, this group of conveners I'll read another portion of the report. Sid4P was established and structured against the backdrop of increased Pope pro Palestinian activism starting October 2023 on. On November 1, Sid4P officially registered its domain, shut it down for Palestine.org and launched its site by November 6. By November 9, Sid4P publicly listed seven core organizations referred to as conveners, as well as numerous organizations referred to as endorsers. Reflecting the confluence of far left and pro Palestinian radical activism. The official SID4P conveners include the following groups. 1 the People's Forum, 2 Answer Coalition, 3. The International People's Assembly, 4 Al Aada, New York. 5. The National Students for Justice in Palestine, NSJP 6. The Palestinian Youth Movement and 7. The Palestinian American Community Center, New Jersey. The seven conveners of SID4P can be divided into two distinct groupings based on ideological affiliation and fiscal sponsorship. The coalition's far left members, namely the People's Forum, IPA and ANSWER Coalition, demonstrate significant financial personnel and operational overlap. The remaining four conveners are all pro Palestinian activist organizations, with at least two NSJP and Al Adwa known to have ties to US designated terrorist organizations. In addition to NSJP and Al Awada, among Sid4P's endorsers is Samuduan, which some Western intelligence services classify as a front for the pflp, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, which is designated as a foreign terrorist organization by the United States, Germany and Israel.
Ben Ferguson
So the question that everyone, I think that's listening right now is asking is how is this then legal? And if there's direct ties that are going back to terrorism, how is again this legal? And if foreign funds are coming in from our adversaries to pay and fund this, anarchists on college campuses, how is that legal? Is there anything that the government can do to say we're not going to allow this to happen? And we're talking about the finances of this.
Ted Cruz
Well, look, there should be an enormous amount. The Department of Justice should be investigating this. The FBI should be investigating this. We've got money coming from Communist China behind these protests, behind these anti American, anti Israel protests. We've got money coming from organizations that have close ties to designated terrorist organizations. And so whether it is Hamas and Hezbollah pushing this, whether it is affiliated allies of their pushing this, whether it is Iran pushing this, or whether it is Communist China pushing this, the FBI ought to be all over it. And I gotta tell you, Ben, my level of confidence that the FBI and the Department of Justice is even looking at this is Incredibly low. Because sadly, this Biden Department of Justice is so politicized that they're much more interested in tracking down some little old lady on the national mall on January 6 who was waving an American flag and saying God bless America and finding every Facebook post she put 20 years ago than they are actually interested in finding communist China spending millions of dollars trying to rip America apart.
Ben Ferguson
And Senator, look, education and quality education and going to a prestigious school was something that you worked incredibly hard for. But you now look at what's happened at our colleges, and I'm talking about at our, quote, best colleges. How much of now what we're witnessing with them tolerating all of these protests the way that they did in the presence is because maybe they can't say no to, to the foreign cash and the amount of foreign cash and therefore foreign influence that's coming in from these same countries.
Ted Cruz
Look, the foreign cash is an enormous problem. And let me give you. Let's look at the Ivy League. So The Ivy League 8 colleges have historically been among the very best colleges in America. I want us to look at the percentage of foreign students in the Ivy League. So Brown University, what percent of foreign students do you think are at Brown?
Ben Ferguson
It's got to be 20% plus, I would guess 19%.
Ted Cruz
You're off by a point. How many students? 2098. Columbia University. What do you think the percentage is at Columbia?
Ben Ferguson
25, 30, 38%.
Ted Cruz
You want to know how many students that is? 14,088. 14,000 foreign students. Cornell University, 26%. Dartmouth College, 17%. Harvard University, 22%. Princeton University, my alma mater, 23%. University of Pennsylvania, 23%. Yale University, 24%. We are talking about thousands and thousands and tens of thousands of foreign students. Now part of the reason the university is like this is because the foreign students all pay full freight. So it's a great money making endeavor. But why exactly are we educating people who among them and not all of the foreign students are that case? Look, my best friend in college, who you know well, David Panton was Jamaican. He was a foreign student. He came from Jamaica. He arrived at Princeton at 16. He was the best man at my wedding. He has been, other than Heidi, my best friend in life. He was a Ford and student. That was great. That's very different. A Jamaican kid who's talented and wants to go get a good education. Or for that matter, my dad, in 1957, coming as a student from Cuba to the University of Texas, he came on a student visa. He came fleeing oppression. He'd been in prison, he'd been tortured, but he was coming seeking freedom. That is very different from bringing in a bunch of radical, anti America, anti Israel radicals. Look, as far as I'm concerned, if you have a student on a student visa who gets out there and is burning an American flag and chanting death to America, you should deport him that day. We have no obligation to allow people to come on student visas, which is permissive. It is a choice. It is a discretionary choice if they are going to tear down this country. And part of the problem with the Ivy League schools is when you're looking at anywhere from 17% Dartmouth College at the low point to 38% Columbia University at the high point that are foreign students. You have a bunch of students who are not Americans. And far too many of them don't give a about America and are trying to tear America down.
Ben Ferguson
Unbelievable bias in this case. And it's another example of that. I want to tell you real quick about an amazing organization that I want you to know about, and it is an organization called Preborn. When a mother with an unplanned pregnancy meets her baby on ultrasound and hears their heartbeat, it is a divine encounter that doubles a baby's chance at life. By six weeks, eyes are forming with a baby. By 10 weeks, a baby is able to suck his or her own thumb. And for just $28, you could be the difference between the life or death of a child. That is what preborn does. They give women the ability to hear their baby's heartbeat on ultrasound. It's just like putting your hand over your heart right now. You know that you're alive because you can feel that heartbeat. And the same as for a preborn baby, their heart begins to form at conception, and at just three weeks, it's already beating. At five weeks, a baby's heartbeat can be heard on that ultrasound. And that's why we partnered with Preborn, because we need to help these precious babies every day. Preborn's networks of clinics, they rescue 200 babies from abortion. That is why I want you to get involved. All gifts are tax deductible. You can donate by just dialing £250 and say the keyword baby. That's £250. Say the keyword baby. Or you can donate securely@preborn.com verdict. That's preborn.com verdict. Get in the game. Help fight back against what they're doing over at Planned Parenthood. Help the people at Preborn who are giving mothers a chance to hear their baby's heartbeat for the very first time. £250 on your phone and then use the keyword BABY or donate securely@Preborn.com Verdict Senator, when we go back to the Mar A Lago raid, there was outrage enough just on that happening. Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought that I would have witnessed the breaking news that took place that said not only did the Biden administration and the Attorney General Merrick Garland authorize this raid, but on top of that, they authorized the use of deadly force.
Ted Cruz
That's exactly right. According to a filing that was unsealed this week. Here's what it says. Quote, According to an operations order produced in discovery, the FBI believed its objective for the Mar A Lago raid was to seize, quote, classified information NDI and US Government records as described in the search warrant. The order contained a policy statement regarding, quote, use of deadly force which stated, for example, quote, law enforcement officers of the Department of Justice may use deadly force when necessary. The agents plan to bring, quote, standard issue weapons, ammo, handcuffs and medium and large sized bolt cutters. But they were instructed to wear unmarked polo or collared shirts.
Ben Ferguson
There's so many questions that I have right now. One of them, Senator, is the fact that it's like, were you setting this up to be a disaster? Because the Secret Service's job is to protect the President of the United States of America and former presidents at all costs. So if you send in the FBI and you give them this, hey, you've got authorized to use deadly force in this raid and the Secret Service there, whose job is to use deadly force to protect the former President of the United States of America. Why would Merrick Garland set up that disastrous situation to even be a possibility?
Ted Cruz
Well, and look, they were anticipating potential conflicts with Secret Service. So another one of the documents released says contingencies should media be present at Mar A Lago, all personnel will refer to MMOSC and I don't know all these acronyms and adhere to FBI media policy as briefed. 2. Should F. POTUS former President the United States arrive at Mar A Lago, FBI, MME, EM and OSC will be prepared to engage with F. POTUS and U.S. secret Service Security Team. So prepared to engage. Should U.S. secret Service provide resistance or interfere with FBI timeline or accesses FBI MMEM will engage with and it's blocked out. We don't know what it is. And blocked out. Blocked out will engage with US Secret Services point of contact per existing liaison relationships. Should Mar A Lago guest reception be unwilling to provide A list of occupied guest rooms. FBI search team will knock on each guest room door to determine occupation status. FBI will request a map, list of rooms and skeleton key card for all rooms from Mar a Lago staff. 5. An FBI MM TTA with lock picking equipment will be on the scene. So they're anticipating Secret Service may actively resist the FBI. And they're prepared to engage. And they're prepared to engage with an order that explicitly authorizes deadly force. Like, what in the hell?
Ben Ferguson
Let's remind people of Merrick Garland's own words. He was very proud of this raid in August of 2022. He went out there, Justice Department, you know, insignia behind him, the Justice Department flag to his left, the American flag to his right. And he told the world in a live report, everyone carried it this.
Ted Cruz
There are, however, certain points I want you to know. First, I personally approve the decision to.
Ben Ferguson
Seek a search warrant in this matter.
Ted Cruz
Second, the Department does not take such a decision lightly.
Ben Ferguson
Clearly not, Senator, because they were planning for the use of deadly force to possibly be used.
Ted Cruz
So let me give a caveat defending this in a tiny respect, and then let me take that caveat away. The caveat I would give is, is, is this sort of authorization, and authorization of use of deadly force is standard when the FBI is exercising a search warrant. Look, if you're exercising a search warrant in any context, if you're going to a drug dealer's house or something else, there, there is a risk of armed resistance. And so an authorization of deadly forces is typical with, with a search warrant. That's the caveat. Now, I'm going to take back every syllable of every word of what I just said. Holy crap. This was the President of the United States. Are you out of your mind? Like, like, like this is. And for Merrick Garland to say, I personally approved it. The absolute hubris of this administration. Listen, Merrick Garland is drunk with power. He believes he should be on the Supreme Court, and he is engaged in a global revenge tour against everyone he thinks who wronged him. But is there no judgment on the part of the Attorney General? Is there no judgment on the part of the Deputy Attorney General? Is there no judgment on the part of any advisers anywhere at doj? Is there no judgment on the part of the head of the FBI? Is there no judgment on the part of anyone involved in this process to say, you know, this guy was the President of the United States? Secret Service is guarding him for a reason? Yeah, maybe we should not be authorizing deadly force. Like, can you imagine? Listen, well, can I ask you this.
Ben Ferguson
The chain of command, just for people to understand this. Merrick Garland's over the FBI, but also isn't he over the Secret Service as well? Is that not under his, the actually Secret Service reports?
Ted Cruz
So they're in different, different silos.
Ben Ferguson
So. But wouldn't he be talking or realizing he's setting them up for a war?
Ted Cruz
You know, I don't know. And listen, it is difficult to imagine. Look, who knows what happens? But the idea that, okay, if Secret Service resists, you guys go like, there is no sense. And this reminds me back at the beginning of Crossfire Hurricane. Crossfire Hurricane, you remember, was the DOJ and FBI targeting the Trump campaign back when he was a candidate and they went after him and they went in and wiretapped him and they went after Carter Page and they created fraudulent documents they used to get a warrant from the FISA court. I mean, it was a grotesque abuse of power that the Department of Justice Inspector General detailed in very painstaking detail.
Ben Ferguson
And the media gave cover because they said Donald Trump was crazy to imply that he was being spied on. His campaign was being spied on. They said he was a lunatic. In fact, he was right the entire time.
Ted Cruz
He was exactly right. But look, when you go back to the launch of Crossfire Hurricane, part of the problem, and this goes to DOJ during Obama, when this all started, and FBI during Obama, there were no adults in the room. Listen, there are circumstances you could imagine where a criminal investigation, a search warrant, a prosecution has to be authorized against a high level government official. But especially when that high level official is in the opposing party, especially when that high level official is the leading candidate for the opposing party and the likely opponent for the sitting president. When you're going after your political opposition, the threshold for anything should be extraordinarily high. And it wasn't at all based on some ridiculous half baked oppo research paid for by the Hillary Clinton campaign that contained the notorious pee tape and all that nonsense which has all been debunked. We now know it was all made up. But look, when the Hillary Clinton campaign pays over a million bucks to make up oppo research, they come up with some creative stuff.
Ben Ferguson
When you look at this, this is going to be, and it has to be, I would assume, a major campaign issue, especially in the presidential campaign. I can't imagine this not coming up at the presidential debates. But there also seems to be panic right now. In response to this, Jim Comey went on MSNBC and said this. Take a listen. Are you concerned that it may get a test unlike any other. If Donald Trump is reelected. I mean, when you think about a second Trump administration, what do you think the implications would be for the FBI?
C
Oh, serious. For the Justice Department and the FBI, because Trump is coming for those institutions. He knows their power. And I think he has regrets that he didn't work hard enough to corrupt them last time. So he's coming for them. And that's a danger for all Americans. He's going to put people in positions in those organizations. He didn't have all stars the last time. He'll have the bottom of the barrel this time. But people who will want to do his will, and that should worry every American. This election matters because of a reason like that. People have to participate. You cannot sit on the sideline. I don't care how you feel about Joe Biden, you must vote for him because the consequences on the other side are too severe.
Ben Ferguson
I don't care how you feel about Joe Biden, you must vote for him. That's the former FBI director saying that, Senator.
Ted Cruz
Well, and when he talks about corrupting the FBI, I will say, you know, listen, I would admit Jim Comey as an expert witness in any trial on the planet on corrupting the FBI because he was front and center. He did exactly that. He was the point person behind weaponizing the FBI. Jim Comey is someone who fancies himself, I believe, to be J. Edgar Hoover. He had delusions of power. It is one of the gravest mistakes of the first term of the Trump presidency that Trump did not fire Jim Comey on January 20, 2017, the first day in office. He should have said, thank you for your service to the nation. Your services are no longer needed. Nobody would have blinked. But the White House foolishly thought they could get Comey to be part of the administration, to do his job, to not be a disloyal, power hungry snake. And they were wrong. He's continuing to do that. And by the way, let's understand there's an enormous amount of CYA in Comey and that he's very afraid if they have accountability at the FBI, that his personal rear end is in the sling. And so that's he's like, please, please, please make sure you put people in power that cover up for me and that continue the corruption of the FBI and continue weaponizing it to attack their enemies. Because that's what I did and I don't want to be held for account. That's among the most self interested testimony I've ever heard.
Ben Ferguson
Final question on this now, knowing what we know about the raid, is it warranted and justifiable, if Donald Trump is elected again, for him to go in and thoroughly clean house in these institutions?
Ted Cruz
Warranted, justifiable, and incredibly necessary. What has happened is we have hardcore partisans who have corrupted these institutions from the inside. They occupy senior positions in the career bureaucracy. And if Trump is reelected, and I hope and pray that he is, he needs to appoint serious, strong leaders at doj, at the FBI, and the rest of the Alphabet soup of the administration who understand what they're doing, who have the seriousness of purpose to go in and clean them out, because we need to restore the institution. Listen, there are some, Some Republicans, some conservatives that say things like, abolish the FBI. I'm not in that camp. Why? Because the FBI is enormously important. The FBI does hugely important things like. Like finding and catching terrorists and stopping them from killing Americans. It does hugely important things like finding kidnappers and child predators and going after the Mafia and mobsters and going after Mexican drug cartels. Like, all of that is really important. And I don't want to blow that up. What I want to do is restore the integrity of the FBI and the DOJ by getting the partisans out of office who have corrupted it. As you know, Chris Wray, the current Director of the FBI, I've known for 25 years. Chris. Interestingly, Chris is not a liberal. He's a Republican. He still considers himself a Republican to this day. Chris's problem, I believe, is that he is a company man. Now, look, Donald Trump put him in that position. He appointed him to that position. Chris is a company man. And he has. He and I have had screaming arguments on this where he believes it is his job as administrator of the FBI, Director of the FBI, to. To defend the career leaders at the FBI. And I've told him, chris, you are not defending the institution of the FBI if you support people who are corrupting it and destroying its integrity. What does it tell you that half of America doesn't trust the institution anymore because you've been so politicized? And he has proven utterly incapable of seeing it and even less capable of taking it on and stopping it.
Ben Ferguson

The 47 Morning Update with Ben Ferguson
Episode: Foreign Nations Influencing Our Colleges & Universities plus DEADLY Force for Mar-a-Lago Raid Approved by AG Garland
Release Date: May 27, 2024
In this compelling episode of The 47 Morning Update with Ben Ferguson, host Ben Ferguson teams up with Senator Ted Cruz to delve into two critical issues impacting the United States: the influence of foreign adversaries on American colleges and universities, and the controversial authorization of deadly force in the FBI's raid on former President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence. The episode offers in-depth analysis, expert insights, and urgent commentary on these matters, highlighting the potential threats to national integrity and security.
Discussion Highlights:
Ben Ferguson and Senator Ted Cruz unpack a significant report from the Network Contagion Research Institute (NCRI) concerning foreign investments aimed at swaying American higher education institutions. The focus is primarily on Chinese funding directed towards universities like the University of Pennsylvania, suggesting a strategic attempt to cultivate influence over future generations.
Key Points:
NCRI Report Findings (03:03): The NCRI report reveals substantial financial contributions from adversarial nations, notably China, to American colleges. These funds are not merely for educational support but are strategically aimed at influencing campus activism and shaping student ideologies.
Ted Cruz (03:45): "This report analyzes the activities and foreign connections of the Shut it down for Palestine SIDP SID4P movement since its formation... highlighting the involvement of a network linked to the Chinese Communist Party."
Sid4P Movement (04:20): The emergence of the Sid4P movement is identified as a hybrid network leveraging both online and real-world actions to propagate anti-American and anti-Israel sentiments. The movement is financially supported by entities connected to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), aiming to destabilize American societal norms through sustained activism.

The infusion of foreign capital is portrayed as a deliberate tactic to influence campus politics and student perspectives.
Senator Cruz (08:15): "We see massive money coming into the Ivy Leagues... This is almost like, okay, how do we infiltrate a country? How do we change the opinion of the people in that country?"

The strategic use of funds to support both educational and activist endeavors is highlighted as a multifaceted approach to erode national values and promote divisive agendas.

Comparison to Crossfire Hurricane (27:03): Senator Cruz draws parallels between the Mar-a-Lago raid and the FBI's previous controversial investigation into former President Trump’s campaign, known as Crossfire Hurricane. Jim Comey's Testimony (29:58): The episode references former FBI Director Jim Comey's public statements expressing concern over a potential Trump administration's influence on the FBI, warning of institutional corruption and the undermining of justice.
Jim Comey (29:58): "If Donald Trump is reelected... he's going to put people in positions in those organizations who will want to do his will, and that should worry every American."
