And to be fair, there's only one thing we know about Gavin, and that's that he definitely doesn't want to fight fire with water. He's got a lot of water. Never uses. What a disaster that should have never happened.

Good Monday morning. Nice to have you with us on the 47 Morning Update. And we've got two very big stories for you. First up, Berlin Pride Parade. Another Islamic terrorist. Well, he's been shot and killed by police, but not until he'd already done his carnage on so many people in attendance. We have that story for you. Also the Democratic Party, they've been taken over by the Communists, Marxists and socialists and now they're broke. Just how bad is it? I'll explain it. It's the 47 Morning Update and it starts right.

Story number one.

Berlin had a pride parade and Islamic terrorists. Well, he was shot and killed by police after attacking countless people on the ground. The suspected Islamic terrorists who drove a van into a crowd of people at the Berlin Pride parade on Saturday. He was shot and killed. According to the German daily bill, the 21 year old alleged ISIS inspired terrorists. Yes, ISIS inspired. You heard that right. Was shot and killed during a SWAT team operation in the Sandu district of Berlin on Sunday. This came after a manhunt was launched after a van was driven into the parade at Christopher Street's day pride, killing one and leaving 29 others injured. Now, the paper reported that the special task force known as the SEK police officers had come under attack from the suspect with a blade after he was discovered hiding in a garden shed. The officers returned fire and the Suspect died at 6:34pm local time. Despite immediate resuscitation measures initiated by the Berlin Fire Department. He died at the scene, the police spokesman said. Berlin's Interior Senator, Iris Springer of the Social Democrats thanked the police and said. I am grateful for the security authorities for finding the attacker so quickly. That is a great achievement. Here is how the local news had the story when this all happened.

In the initial attack, a colorful celebration that became a dark day for Berlin. A van used to ram into crowds at the city's biggest pride event before crashing into a tree. Several people were then stabbed near the Brandenburg Gate with a blade now thought to be a machete. One woman has died, 29 others are injured. Some critically remain calm and go home. Those remaining were told to evacuate.

This is the man police have been hunting. 21 year old Berlin born Abdul Balut was was known to the police in the last hour. It's been confirmed he has been shot and killed. Investigators are treating the incident as an Islamist terrorist attack.

We're dealing here with a suspected perpetrator who has previously attracted attention due to a high number of criminal offences, radicalization and belonging to the Islamist scene.

Authorities in Germany say they aren't ruling out copycat crimes. The German Chancellor today visited the scene of what has been described as an horrific attack.

Do not let yourselves. Let us not let ourselves be intimidated. These acts have only one purpose. They seek to divide our society. And we will not allow this poison of terrorism and, and this poison against our freedom to continue to spread throughout our society.

Community left reeling have rallied together at a vigil, a demonstration of unity today against extremism. Helen Keenan.

What's interesting about that report is a couple of things. One, he was known to police. Two, they knew he had a radical past. Three, they knew he had ties to radical Islam. You have a 21 year old that attempted to join ISIS after driving a vehicle into a crowd at this pride event. Then he used that machete to stab victims. And then you have a country that has had, yet again, open borders. You have an individual that showed multiple signs that he was a threat to society, but because of political correctness, they didn't put him in jail. Now, this is, by the way, who the Democrats want in our country with their open border policies. This is exactly what so many have warned would happen in this country. And we had a radical Muslim knife attack last week in New York. When you allow for this type of immigration from countries who preach hate against women, hate against gays, hate against anyone that does not believe in what they believe in, you get these types of Islamic terrorist attacks. Make no mistake, this radical Islamic terror attack is not going to be the last one. And yet again we see that there was an individual that gave us every warning sign that this is who he was, this is what he was going to do, and that he was not going to back down from his radical beliefs. That is the part about this that is so incredibly frustrating because time and time again, they show themselves for who they actually are. They tell you what they believe in. And Germany says, we're not going to allow this person to, as he described it, divide us. Right? We're not going to allow this person to devise. Say whatever you want to say. You allow these radicals into your country, they tell you they hate you, they tell you they want to kill you, they tell you they want to slaughter you. They tell you they want to take a machete to you until you die. You really should believe them. You should believe them every single time they tell you. I wish I could say that this is a warning that will hopefully, quote, wake people up. Unfortunately, in the radical Democratic Party, no one has woken up every single time this happens.

So you know that the Democratic Party is filled with communist, socialists and Marxists. The question now is, is it actually hurting the Democratic Party? I'm going to answer that question for you by not me saying yes, but by telling you exactly what has now been said about the chaos in the Democratic National Committee. This is coming from the New York Times, their headline inside the phone throwing drama at the troubled, broke Democratic Party. The Democrats should be well positioned to make gains in this year's midterms. But inside party headquarters, every week brings paranoia, worries about money, and on occasion, emotional eruptions. That's how the New York Times is describing the Democratic Party. The Democratic Party is so short on cash that leaders at its headquarters have undertaken a new gambit to mass the severity of the problem, asking vendors not to send bills until after the midterm elections. So they're saying, hey, you guys can work for us. We just can't pay you until after the election's over and I guess, hopefully we'll win and then money will come in and it'll be fine. The bookkeeping maneuver, which was described by three people briefed on it, is the latest sign of financial duress for the Democratic National Committee and it's embattled leaders as money troubles threaten to undercut Democratic momentum. With just a hundred days left until the midterms, so much is going politically right for Democrats these days. President Trump's approval is down. This again, I'm quoting for the New York Times. Gas prices are up and an unpopular war with Iran drags on. But dysfunction and debt inside one of the party's key institutions, which is getting crushed and fundraising by its Republican counterpart, are creating rising anxiety for top Democrats. At the center is Ken Martin. He's a 53 year old party chairman who has found himself increasingly isolated, gripped by the fear that he will lose his job and relying on a, well, vanishing small circle of people he trusts, according to interviews with more than two dozen Democrats, including current and former DNC officials and members. Now, most of them spoke on the condition of amenity to discuss the party's major trouble right with their affairs. The article says, quote, Mr. Martin's fraying nerves are showing in a moment of frustration in early July, the New York Times reports he threw his phone at the desk of a junior aide while un upbraiding the person. The phone tossing incident resulted in a formal complaint to the DNC's human resources department. Now, the fallout from the phone throwing episode was described by half a dozen people familiar with the incident. They say they were not authorized to discuss internal party matters. None of them witnessed the encounter and there was some dispute over how aggressively the phone was tossed. You can't make this up, by the way. Mr. Martin was said to have thrown the phone at the desk rather than at the aid. Wasn't that nice? Like the guy in charge of DNC's mad at you. He doesn't throw the phone at you, just throws at your desk instead of at you. Totally fine in the workplace, right? Mr. Martin later met with DNC human resources officials about his behavior, according to three of the people. The Democratic National Committee declined to comment on the incident. Mr. Martin declined an interview request. Roger La, the executive director of the DNC, said in a statement that the bill deferral discussions were nothing more than standard negotiations with vendors over contracts and payment processes. So, again, nothing to see here around the office and beyond, they say. The Chairman of the DNC, Mr. Martin, has taken to making jokes to colleagues about how long he will remain in his post, even though his term does not end until 2029. He's, he is frustrated with the tarnished public image of a party that he plainly loves and has devoted his life to. And that remains bullish about November, given President Trump's, quote, low approval ratings. But the Democratic Party and its allies are far behind Republicans when it comes to money. President Trump controls a $400 million super PAC, and the Republican National Committee is sitting on nearly 130 million. And Mr. Martin's DNC is, yeah, $2 million in debt. Now, to put that in perspective, Trump controlling the 400 million super PAC and then the RNC having 130 million means that's 530 million to negative 2 million in debt for the DNC. Now, the committee's role is not just to help Democrats win back power in the midterms, but also to lead the party in the 2028 presidential race, they say, including overseeing the new primary calendar while organizing debates and, yeah, a national convention. Even supporters acknowledge Mr. Martin's growing sense of paranoia. He confronted the party's finance director this spring over what he thought was a budding coup against him. And before he met with the top congressional Democrats, Senator Chuck Schumer of New York and Representative Hakeem Jeffries of New York. In mid July, assurances were given to an ally of Mr. Martin that the two party leaders did not plan to use the gathering to call for the chairman's resignation. Interesting. Mr. Martin, by the way, was elected last February to a four year term by the roughly 450 members of the DNC. And only a vote of the membership itself could push him out. So if you want to know how bad it is at the DNC, the Republicans have 530 million in their war chest to fight for the midterms and The Democrats are negative 2 million. This also tells you that the communists, the socialists and the Marxists, they're in charge. The Democratic Party is not the Communists, the socialists and the Marxists are fully in charge. They're not going anywhere. They own the place now.
