And even more because I'm supporting the across the board pay raises for every sailor and service member in the United States Armed Force. But we have to take care of.
This little gnat that's on our shoulder called the Democrats.
They want to give all of our.
Money to illegal aliens that pour into the country.
You're listening to the 47 Morning Update with Ben Ferguson.
Good Monday morning. Nice to have have you with us on the 47 Morning Update. We've got two big stories for you. First up, can you spot the difference between Democrats on Donald Trump's indictments versus James Comey's? We've got a heck of a montage for you that we're going to play showing you just how radical the media has become as an arm of the Democratic Party. Also, there is a Democrat running for office and text messages from a couple years ago have come back to haunt him. What was he advocating for? The killing of conservatives lawmakers, including their family members. Yes, even their children. How radical is the Democratic Party and how long have they been advocating for this? We'll break that down for you as well. Are you one of those that's just so tired of giving your money to radical left woke companies that actually are fighting against your values every day? Well, there are certain bills that you pay every month that if you can go with a conservative company, why not do it? In fact, why not go with a conservative company that actually takes part of your bill every month that you're going to pay to somebody and they give it back to organizations that support your first and your second amendment rights, that support the rights of unborn children, that stand with our military, our first responders and so many wounded warriors that need help. Call Patriot Mobile today and make a difference. And every single day with every call you make. Patriotmobile.com ferguson that's patriot mobile.com ferguson or 972 patriot and if you use the promo code Ferguson, you're going to get a free month of service. On top of that. Patriotmobile.com ferguson or 972-patriot that's patriotmobile.com ferguson Or 972 Patriot. It's the 47 Morning Update and it starts right now.
Story number one.
It is important to show you and let you hear exactly what is happening when it comes to the media, especially in the Comey indictment. We have put together a montage and I want you to listen carefully to see if you can spot the difference between what Democrats had to say when Donald Trump was indicted compared to what they're saying now with James Comey's indictment. You don't hate the media enough. And if you don't believe that the media is extremely biased and basically state sponsored media for the Democratic Party, well, then you're not paying attention. So here is a montage of the difference between Democrats on Trump versus the Comey indictment. And I hope you'll share this wherever you can on social media.

This is an example of our judicial system working like it should work and how it works in democracies across the globe. We have no reason to believe Comey actually broke any laws here. And we have no reason to believe that prosecutors in the Eastern District of Virginia have any evidence that suggests he did. In fact, we have reason to believe.
Ben Ferguson
The exact opposite sign that this country is on track, that people are actually respect the rule of law and are willing to do their duty.
This is such a horrendous moment for the rule of law for the Department.
Of Justice, for the country writ large. This is a test of citizenship. Are we a country of laws? This is the rule of law under assault. Kevin McCarthy is already casting judgment on the process. McCarthy could get someone killed with his rhetoric. He is going to inspire, incite somebody to take up violence against law enforcement. Donald Trump may not has not come for you yet. He eventually will find you. Trump and many of his allies have already begun criticizing and accusing the justice system of being corrupt and biased against him. The fact that the president was actually able to get the federal government to do his bidding is a giant step toward eroding the independence of the justice system and undoing the rule of law in America. I've covered the intelligence community for more than a decade. Retaining classified information, especially at the level of classification that we're talking about here, is deeply significant. It is extraordinary that a former president did this. But a lot of regular Americans out there are saying when they hear about this, well, didn't Biden do that? Didn't Mike Pence do it? Of course that's not the same. But that's what a lot of people are saying because they're not delving into the details. Comey authorized Dan Richmond to talk to reporters. And let's think about that. Does that matter in the scheme of things? This case against James Comey for the Trump world and MAGA world is not about whether he lied to Congress about leaks. They're using this as a weapon, this, this, this marginal perjury charge to go after Comey because they hate what he did in investigating Donald Trump. There are inflammatory accusations about partisanship and political basis for these charges. And that should tell you everything that you need to know about what is motivating Donald Trump and his supporters is fundamentally a breakpoint in our system of government, because even James Comey recognizes that the individual case against him is far less important than the damage this is doing and has done to the Department of Justice. Here's an indictment to, to move forward with a potential prosecution. That's the process. There's nothing political about that. It's never been political. So now this reaction is what it is performative, it's required, it is expected of them. There, there. They, there's not a brain cell that kicks in and goes, oh, I have to say, and do the right thing, which is shut your mouth up vis a vis all the other autocratic activities and behaviors they're engaging in, while at the same time, to your point, making people afraid by going after them and by in imputing to them they're the offenses of the state. This is not disparate treatment for a former president, contrary to some who say it's political. We have to see the indictment, but it feels to me like they are doing what we're supposed to do in America, treating no one as being above the law. Donald Trump has 34 felony convictions. He's now going to go after the people who are responsible for that. The whole thing, the lies, the injustice, that is not democracy. That's not America. People who want to lie their way through this or claim that any accountability of any kind is automatically a political prosecution. People around Donald Trump try to take the first real criminal accountability process that exists and pretend it's something else. My God, what if the law is enforced? What if it's not? We now have the actual indictment and it's very thin. It doesn't involve allegations of conduct, that is to say, action that forms a crime in the physical sense. We have the public, likely unlawful demands by Donald Trump to do what's called selective prosecution to go after someone because of who they are, not of the evidence showing what they did. There's a lot of us that still believe that in this country, no man is above the law. They're willing to trash the rule of law all because of a failed reality TV host. For those who are, you know, screaming and crying on the air about weaponization of the government or collusion with the Biden White House or all sorts of other things that have led to this moment that are baseless, completely baseless, it's not responsible. This is a bogus case and it is lawfare. The only intention is he wants payback and he wants to make Comey pay. And when you see people like the vice president going out there, I mean, it's just, it's ridiculous.
That is the difference between the Dems on Trump versus the Comey indictment. And I hope you will play that and post on social media everywhere because you do not hate this media enough.
Now, story number two.
If you want to know how mainstream violence and the rhetoric of violence has become among the Democratic Party, look no further than what's happening in Virginia. There is a Democrat who is a leader in Virginia, a Democrat Attorney General Hopeful J. Jones, who is now being called out by the right. And many are saying it's time for him to drop out of that race because of what he had to say in text messages. The Virginia Democratic Attorney General, Hopeful J. Jones, being pressured now to drop out of the race because the text message reveals he apparently fantasized. I'm going to say this again, that he apparently fantasized about a Republican lawmaker being fatally shot to death. In a social media post on Saturday, the governor, Glenn Youngkin called out Jones for the text messages he, he is accused of sitting in 2022 that show him wishing for a now former state House Speaker Todd Gilbert and listen carefully, his children to be killed. The New York Post has exposed in their reporting, quote, this violent rhetoric, disgusting rhetoric targeted an elected official and his children is beyond disqualifying. J. Jones said that Gilbert gets two bullets to the head and then hopes his children would die. That is what Youngkin, the governor of Virginia, said on X. He went on to say, read those words again. There is no gosh, I'm sorry here. Jones doesn't have the morality or character to drop out of the race. And his running mate and every Democrat elected in Virginia don't have the courage to call on him to step away from his campaign in disgrace. The governor added, now, you may want to know what was actually in these text messages. Well, I'm going to read them for you and I want to be clear. They are Disturbing private messages offer not only a disturbing glimpse into how the Democratic Party is run in Virginia, but specifically to how Jones, who is looking to oust the incumbent Republican attorney general this fall, describes his political adversaries and private conversations. I want to go back to this. Allegedly in 2022. Some of this is at a point where you just have to sit there and scratch your head and go, how did we get to this, to this point? How did we get to a point where you have this many individuals who are in the Democratic Party who are doing exactly this, saying, we want kids to die, we want people to die, we want there to be more death, and asking for and hoping for the assassination of your political opponents. I'm going to go back to part of this conversation talking about Joe Johnson, a D, but basically an R leaked everything to your caucus. It's why Gilbert gave him such a glowing tribute. I knew what you were talking about. Served with my dad who had nice words with a little choices choice sprinkled in. I didn't look at that. I just saw a guy died and assumed you'd have words. He was a D. They say nice things about everyone. Lol. If those guys die before me, quote, this is again the guy who's trying to become the attorney general in the Democratic Party in Virginia. He says, if those guys die before me, I will go to their funerals and blank on their graves, send them out awash in something. Guy is responding with rights back. J. Jones. Then he says, three people, two bullets. Gilbert, Hitler and Pol Pot. Gilbert gets two bullets to the head. Spoiler put Gilbert in the crew with the two worst people you know and it receives both bullets every time. JJ. Please stop. LOL. Okay, okay. It really bothers me when you talk about hurting people or wishing death on them. The person the text message responds, you weren't simply asking and you know it. I genuinely was. I wasn't attacking you. I was trying to understand your logic. He writes back, you weren't trying to understand. You were talking about hoping Jennifer Gilbert's children would die. Jay then responds, yes, I've told you this before only and again, listen carefully. Only when people feel pain personally do they move on policy. There isn't. I point blank asked you more than three times and you dug in that you mean it. I honestly am questioning a lot today. He writes back, I mean, do I think Todd and Jennifer are evil and that they're breeding little fascists? Yes. This was in 2022. The private messages offer a disturbing look into how Jones, a Democrat who's been mainstreamed by the Democratic Party, is not only wanting to oust the incumbent Republican attorney general this fall, but he describes his political adversaries as fascists breeding little fascists who deserve two bullets in their head, not one. And their kids deserve to die. This is what is happening right now in the Democratic Party. This is how long it's been festering. This is exactly why we have the attacks on Charlie, the assassination, I should say, of Charlie Kirk, the attempted assassinations on Donald Trump. This is why Democrats around the country celebrated the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Because of everything that I just told you, it is incredibly scary. It is also incredibly sick that this is now where we are. This is what is actually happening. We are now in a situation where the Democratic Party is being exposed for advocating for this. For years. I want to say that again. For years, this is what they have been advocating for. And when they also talk about this elected official, they clearly talk about the family and the children. They believe that because your dad is in politics and they disagree with you that you are, quote, breeding, as they described it, little fascists. I want you to think about that. Little fascists. Say it again. Little fascists. When you look at this and you realize what is being said here, it is truly shocking. It is incredibly scary that we are sitting in a situation now in this country where this is what the Democrats are saying in their private conversations. And do not tell me this is just one. Do not tell me that this is an outlier. Do not tell me any of those things. This is what the Democratic Party has refused to police. This is what the Democratic Party has refused to condemn. This is what the Democratic Party has refused to reign in. In fact, they're the opposite of that. This is what they advocate for. This is what they fantasize about. This is what they encourage, calling them little fascists, that they're breeding little fascists. You notice these words that they've been using long before what we've recently witnessed in the worst case scenario in this country of people going after and trying to kill Republicans. This is the encouragement using the word fascist over and over again. And you know what happened? It worked.

Host: Ben Ferguson
In this episode, Ben Ferguson dissects two major political controversies shaking American politics. First, he exposes what he asserts is stark media and Democratic hypocrisy in their reactions to the indictments of James Comey versus Donald Trump, highlighting what he sees as a double standard. Second, Ferguson spotlights Virginia Democratic Attorney General hopeful Jay Jones, whose past text messages fantasizing about violence toward Republicans and their children have resurfaced, fueling accusations about the normalization of violent rhetoric among Democrats.
[02:53–08:56]
Introduction to Montage:
Ferguson frames the media as "state sponsored" for the Democratic Party, urging listeners to spot the difference in reactions to Trump versus Comey indictments.
"You don't hate the media enough. And if you don't believe the media is extremely biased ... then you're not paying attention."
— Ben Ferguson (03:05)
Audio Montage:
The segment plays a compilation of media sound bites and Democratic statements from both cases, underscoring their contrasting tones:
"This is an example of our judicial system working like it should work and how it works in democracies across the globe. We have no reason to believe Comey actually broke any laws here..." (03:45) "This is such a horrendous moment for the rule of law... This is a test of citizenship. Are we a country of laws? This is the rule of law under assault..." (04:15) "The whole thing, the lies, the injustice, that is not democracy. That's not America." (08:00)
Ferguson's Commentary:
Ferguson accuses the media of hypocrisy and implores listeners to share the montage:
"That is the difference between the Dems on Trump versus the Comey indictment. And I hope you will play that and post on social media everywhere because you do not hate this media enough."
— Ben Ferguson (08:56)
[09:10–16:47]
Topic Introduction:
Ben shifts to the controversy surrounding Jay Jones, a Democratic candidate for Virginia Attorney General, who's under fire for "fantasizing" in text messages about violence against a Republican lawmaker and their children.
"If you want to know how mainstream violence and the rhetoric of violence has become among the Democratic Party, look no further than what's happening in Virginia..."
— Ben Ferguson (09:12)

Analysis of Political Rhetoric:
Ferguson rails against what he perceives as entrenched, violent attitudes within the Democratic Party, arguing it’s not an isolated incident.
"Do not tell me this is just one. Do not tell me that this is an outlier. Do not tell me any of those things. This is what the Democratic Party has refused to police. This is what the Democratic Party has refused to condemn."
— Ben Ferguson (15:16)
Claims of Broader Trend:
Ferguson connects Jones’ texts to a pattern of violence against conservative figures, specifically referencing recent political violence as a consequence of such rhetoric.

Focus on ‘Fascist’ Language:
Ferguson highlights the repeated labeling of Republicans as “fascists” in Jones' messages and broader Democratic dialogue, suggesting it’s used to justify violence.

Commentary on Mainstreaming Violence:
"This is what the Democratic Party has refused to police. This is what the Democratic Party has refused to condemn. This is what the Democratic Party has refused to reign in. In fact, they're the opposite of that. This is what they advocate for. This is what they fantasize about. This is what they encourage..."
— Ben Ferguson (15:16)
Chilling Assessment:
"It is incredibly scary. It is also incredibly sick that this is now where we are. This is what is actually happening."
— Ben Ferguson (15:49)
Ferguson's tone throughout is direct, passionate, and combative, directed toward conservative listeners frustrated with perceived media and Democratic double standards. He employs vivid language—"you do not hate this media enough," "mainstream violence"—to underscore his sense of urgency and outrage. Quotes from both the host and public figures are shared verbatim for impact.
Ben Ferguson’s October 6, 2025 episode of The 47 Morning Update delivers a scathing critique of alleged media bias in the coverage of political indictments and draws a line from the violent rhetoric exposed in Virginia's Attorney General race to broader trends in Democratic discourse. Through pointed montage, analysis, and direct readings, Ferguson argues these are not isolated incidents but evidence of systemic issues, urging his listeners to recognize and share what he frames as the dangerous normalization of partisanship and political violence in America.
