We see one of the first things they do is, is try and restrict the vote. This is one of the things, though, that this is going to take power to the streets. I don't know what the answer is on this, but I'm kind of, I've been saying this. I think we need a shadow government.
Ben Ferguson
You're listening to the 47 Morning Update with Ben Ferguson.
Good Monday morning, Ben Ferguson with you. It's nice to have you on the 47 Morning Update. And here are the three big stories we're covering. First up, Democrats are cheering the idea of having an activ shadow government. And it's one of the leaders of the Democratic Party that put it out there and it got massive applause from the audience. We'll have that for you in just a moment. Also, anger and rage. The left no longer is just going after Tesla, but now they're targeting and firebombing Republican headquarters. I'll give you the details on that violence as well. And finally, you may remember the big thing signal gate last week. Well, we've got poll numbers that now show it was a big flop for the Dems and the media trying to make America turn on Donald Trump. His poll numbers holding Strong. It's the 47 Morning Update and it starts right now. We all know the Democratic Party wants to destroy Donald Trump. We know they tried to lock him up, they tried to bankrupt him and they even raided his homes. They went after his family, they went after his friends and they put allies of Donald Trump in jail. Well, now he's back in the White House after all of that didn't work. So what is their plan B? Well, we now know a little bit more about it. As Minnesota governor and former vice presidential candidate Tim Waltz recently proposed the formation of what he described as a, quote, shadow government. Why would we need this? He claims to provide Americans with an alternative perspective on the Trump administration's actions. He was speaking at a town hall in Wisconsin and Waltz expressed major concerns over what he perceives as attacks on voting rights by the current administration. He then went on to suggest this. Take a listen.
Tim Waltz
We see one of the first things they do is, is try and restrict the vote. This is one of the things, though, that this is going to take power to the streets. I don't know what the answer is on this, but I'm kind of, I've been saying this. I think we need a shadow government. So when all these things come up every single day, we've got an alternate press conference telling the truth about what things are happening, feeling what's going on?
Ben Ferguson
An alternative shadow government. Now, the concept of a shadow government resembles the shadow cabinet system in the United Kingdom, where opposition party members mirror the roles of current government officials. To scrutinize policies and propose alternatives is what many Democrats are now saying about how this idea really shouldn't be looked at as radical or undermining democracy or our Constitution. Waltz's remarks have escalated the criticism from many Republican figures. President Donald Trump's social media team labeled Waltz an unhinged loser for even having this suggestion. Now, before you laugh and roll your eyes, you also need to understand that this is a real strategy. Why are Democrats doing this? Because they're hoping to convince at least 50% of Americans that if the party in charge is a party that you don't like, AKA Donald Trump, then what you can do is say, I refuse to listen to you. You're not my president. Your laws don't apply to my life and or my business. It's a lot like what they did with open borders. They were defying the laws of the American government while they were running it. Part of this is to just undermine everything in this country when it comes to law and order. Say you can pick and choose what you want and when you want to apply it and look away the other direction if you don't like what the law says. So be careful before you look at this and just laugh. There is a real campaign here to completely undermine all of our federal government, and that also means our democracy and our Constitution.
Next story number two.
There are two major stories that are now colliding, and it all deals with rage in the Democratic Party. We know that on Saturday, there was supposed to be, quote, 500 protests in this country and around the world at Tesla dealerships. It was supposed to turn into a massive fight against Elon Musk and Doge to try to bankrupt his company. Well, we also know what has been happening when it comes to firebombing Teslas and keying people's cars. In New York, there was a group caught for actually scraping into the side of a vehicle, keying that car with a swastika. This has become normal. There have been dealerships that have been shot up and incendiary devices left at other dealerships in Austin. Well, now the left has moved beyond Tesla dealerships, and now they're going after Republican Party headquarters. This happening in New Mexico. The headquarters for the Republican Party in New Mexico was targeted on Sunday in what is being called a, quote, deliberate act of arson, leaving the entryway to the building completely Destroyed. In a post on X, the Republican Party of New Mexico revealed the damage to the state's GOP headquarters in Albuquerque. Also included the words Ice equals KKK spray painted on the wall of the building. The attack was described as being fueled by hatred and intolerance. So how did we get here? Well, I have a very important montage of not only political leaders, but also famous movie stars like John Cusack and members of the media talking about taking down Elon Musk and Tesla. And these are the dog whistles for the crazies to go out and burn things down. And when you ask for this 24 hours a day, somebody's gonna actually do it. Now please make sure you take this montage and share this podcast everywhere you can on social media so that we can get the truth out of exactly why all this is happening. Take a listen.
Tim Waltz
Someone threw a Molotov cocktail at a Tesla service center. At least five Teslas blew up. When you pull out a chainsaw to.
Unnamed Commentator
Celebrate firing thousands of people, they get mad.
Tim Waltz
It's just that, you know, let's send.
Ben Ferguson
These techno fascist rolig archs and old.
Tim Waltz
Fashioned Nazis a message loud and clear.
Unnamed Commentator
The vandalism really shows the. The outright anger and rage that people are feeling about what Elon Musk is doing.
Tim Waltz
We should all be protesting in the streets about this and be incredibly angry.
Unnamed Commentator
It has taken the American people to go protest at Tesla to get the President's attention, try to dismantle the reputation of Tesla in hopes of hitting Elon Musk where it hurts. He's incompetent. He's a thief. He's a Nazi.
Musk is a pathological liar. He's a criminal. He's a sociopath and a ghoul. He's literally killing people. But he should really enjoy taking this. This guy down.
I want to see happen on my birthday is for Elon to be taken down. Yes, Elon Musk kind of turned out to be a. I don't want to be driving the car built and designed. If you drive a Tesla, please sell it. And if you own stock in Tesla, please dump it. I've never wanted to buy a Tesla because I prefer to buy cars made by car companies, not computer companies.
Tim Waltz
I added Tesla to it to give me a little boost during the day. 225 and dropping.
Unnamed Commentator
Tesla's tanking right now and I'm okay with that. Tesla is a meme stock. It is one of the most wildly over inflated stock. Tesla stock is way down.
Tim Waltz
Please don't vandalize.
Unnamed Commentator
Don't ever vandalize Tesla vehicles taking to the streets or the parking lots. Tonight, the FBI and ATF now investigating multiple cases of possible arson. Oh, you guys like petty acts of domestic terrorism? Camp on. The piece is very disturbing to me to hear her throwing around words like terrorists. Is it appropriate to increase penalties? No, it's. It's not. Same thing with Pam Bondi. She's, you know, just stop that. The masquerade, it's. This is just ridiculous. You believe that these protests at Tesla dealerships meet the definition of domestic terrorism?
Tim Waltz
No definition that I can think of.
Unnamed Commentator
First off, I've only heard about peaceful protests. You try to kill cops to overthrow the government and change an election. That's not domestic terrorism.
Ben Ferguson
But somehow having a protest in front.
Unnamed Commentator
Of a Tesla dealership is. He said today he would label violence against dealerships domestic terrorism. You protest a private company, you are labeled by this administration a domestic terrorist. January, six rioters who committed heinous acts of violence on our Capitol. That's okay, but it's not okay with Tesla.
There's a big difference between vandalism and terrorism. And the consumer is basically taking out their feelings on companies with politics they disagree with. That's not always vandalism and violence and, you know, throwing fires, but people sort of take it on individual companies based on their politics, which is why some companies are trying to backtrack from politics in political stance they took in the last decade.
Yeah, and Elon Musk, obviously has put himself squarely in the middle of that. You do it to a Tesla dealership, it's really bad. But when they do it to the halls of Congress, we should pardon them. They're legitimately upset. And Elon Musk. And they're legitimate. Elon Musk pointing fingers at the left over that spate of attacks against Tesla vehicles and dealerships across the country. Violent attacks, these acts of violence and vandalism. Is there any evidence to indicate that there is a connection between the attacks in any of these Democratic groups? Absolutely zero. There is no evidence that this is something that's being, you know, orchestrated or, you know, organized by the left. And I don't even know if the folks who are doing the vandalism are actual Democrats or Republicans. Both sides. Both sides feel unseen, unheard, and they're taking violence to. To express themselves.
We have to make them really afraid people are going to die and it's going to get as ugly as we can think it's time to make them pay.
Ben Ferguson
So if you want to know who the bad guys are just look for the guy, John Cusack and the party behind him that are tearing down. Tesla's telling you it's time to do it. And also, you know, burning down Republican headquarters. This is the Democratic Party in 2025.
And finally, story number three.
Over the last 10 days, it's been very clear that the Democrats wanted to hurt Donald Trump. And they saw an opportun. They went all in on something they dubbed Signal Gate, demanding that Donald Trump either fire or that leaders resign in his apparatus. Why? Because they were killing terrorists and had a message app open called Signal, where inadvertently the Atlantic had one of their big dogs that actually got on the message thread. Now, they went all in, hoping the American people would be shocked by this accident. And it clearly was a mistake. No one saying that it wasn't. But the reality is the American people are smarter than the radical left. And the media attacks on the Trump administration. How do we know this? Well, CBS News poll has found that the president's approval rating is doing just fine at 50%. The poll released on Sunday morning surveyed more than 2,600Americans from across the country on March 27th and 28th after Signal Gate exploded. And what did we find out? Well, the vast majority of respondents said that last week's signal incident, in which the national security adviser, Mike Waltz accidentally added the Atlantic editor in chief Jeffrey Goldberg into an encrypted group chat where plans to attack terrorists were discussed, was, quote, serious, but it did not affect Donald Trump's job approval. Translation, the American people actually care more about the fact that Donald Trump is killing terrorists. So the moral of the story is this. The Democrats are going to keep trying to take down Donald Trump any way they can. But it also seems the American people are onto their game. They don't trust the media, and they sure as hell don't trust the Democratic Party.

The 47 Morning Update with Ben Ferguson Episode: The Left's Shadow Govt. Play plus Liberal Anarchy & Fury Rising Release Date: March 31, 2025
Introduction
In the March 31, 2025 episode of The 47 Morning Update, host Ben Ferguson delves into three pressing and provocative topics dominating the political landscape. Ferguson offers his unfiltered insights into the Democratic Party's strategies, escalating violence against political entities, and the resilience of President Donald Trump's approval amidst relentless opposition. This comprehensive summary captures the essence of the discussions, highlighting key points, notable quotes, and the underlying narratives shaping America's current socio-political climate.
1. Democrats Advocate for a Shadow Government
Proposal and Reactions
The episode kicks off with Ferguson addressing a controversial proposal from Minnesota Governor and former Vice Presidential candidate, Tim Waltz. Waltz suggested the formation of a "shadow government" as a countermeasure to what he perceives as Democratic overreach and attacks on voting rights.
Waltz articulated his concerns during a town hall in Wisconsin, emphasizing the need for an alternative press conference to present a truthful narrative about the Trump administration's actions.
Ferguson's Analysis
Ben Ferguson critically examines the implications of establishing a shadow government, drawing parallels to the UK's shadow cabinet system. He argues that the Democratic push for such a structure isn't merely a benign opposition tactic but a strategic move to undermine federal authority and democratic norms.
Ferguson contends that this strategy aims to fracture national cohesion by encouraging Americans to dismiss federal laws selectively, mirroring past Democratic tactics like advocating for open borders.
Political Fallout
The proposal has ignited fierce backlash from Republican figures. President Trump's social media team, for instance, dismissed Waltz's suggestion by labeling him an "unhinged loser."
Ferguson's stance is clear: the shadow government initiative is a calculated effort by Democrats to erode trust in federal institutions and promote a parallel governance structure that could destabilize the current administration.
2. Escalating Violence: From Tesla to Republican Headquarters
Targeting Tesla
Ferguson transitions to discuss a surge in violence orchestrated against Tesla dealerships, highlighting a broader pattern of liberal aggression extending beyond corporate targets to political bastions.
He references a series of violent acts, including arson and vandalism at Tesla service centers and Republican Party offices. A particularly alarming incident involved the Republican Party of New Mexico's headquarters being set ablaze, with the message "Ice equals KKK" spray-painted on the walls.
Montage Highlights
To underscore the gravity of these actions, Ferguson presents a montage featuring Tim Waltz and unnamed commentators vehemently denouncing Elon Musk and Tesla. These segments reveal the intense animosity fueling the vandalism:
Ferguson's Interpretation
Ferguson interprets these violent acts as a manifestation of Democratic-sponsored rhetoric that incites real-world aggression. He warns that the continuous vilification of political and corporate figures by prominent Democrats and media personalities serves as a "dog whistle" for extremists to enact their own vigilantism.
By linking these violent events to Democratic leaders and media influence, Ferguson posits that the left is orchestrating a climate of intolerance and aggression aimed at destabilizing both economic and political institutions.
3. Signal Gate: Democrats' Attempt to Undermine Trump Fails
Overview of Signal Gate
The final segment addresses the fallout from an incident dubbed "Signal Gate," wherein Democratic operatives attempted to discredit President Trump by exposing an inadvertent inclusion of an Atlantic editor in a secure group chat discussing national security.
Ferguson explains that this maneuver was intended to scandalize the Trump administration and erode public trust.
Poll Results and Public Sentiment
However, the strategy backfired, as evidenced by recent CBS News poll data indicating that President Trump's approval rating remained robust at 50%, despite the controversy.
Ferguson interprets these findings to suggest that the American populace remains loyal to Trump, valuing his actions against terrorism over media-fueled attacks.
Implications for the Democratic Strategy
The persistence of Trump's approval amid Democratic efforts underscores a disconnect between political elites and the general electorate. Ferguson suggests that the Democrats' aggressive tactics may not resonate as intended with voters, potentially weakening their strategic position.
Conclusion
In this episode of The 47 Morning Update, Ben Ferguson presents a critical examination of Democratic strategies aimed at undermining President Trump and destabilizing federal institutions. Through the exploration of the shadow government proposal, escalating violence against political and corporate targets, and the failed Signal Gate incident, Ferguson argues that the Democratic Party's actions are fostering division and distrust within America. Despite these efforts, incumbent support for Trump indicates a resilient voter base that remains skeptical of mainstream media narratives and Democratic agendas. Ferguson calls on listeners to stay informed and vigilant against what he perceives as orchestrated attempts to erode democratic principles and institutional integrity.
