This is an iHeart podcast and I believe that Biden or Kamala, and I don't think they're smart enough to do it. But the people that are surrounding the beautiful Resolute desk, you know, the high IQ people that are radical left, I believe they told the Banking Commission, the bankers, that the banking regulators do everything you can to destroy Trump. And guess what? I'm president. How did that happen? You're listening to the 47 Morning Update with Ben Ferguson.
Donald Trump
Good Wednesday morning. Nice to have you with us on the 47 Morning Update. And we've got two big stories for you this morning. First up, a major update on the president fighting back against banks, big banks that he now says debanked him after he left the White House in 2016. You are not going to want to miss what the president had to say as he called in to CNBC to set the record straight about what happened to him and so many of the businesses that he ran. Also, you're hearing a lot about gerrymandering and what's happening with redistricting in Texas. So what does it look like in Texas, the map they've drawn compared to what Democrats have been doing all over the country. You're going to want to hear the details of just how corrupt the media is and covering for the Democrats and just how bad it is for Republicans in Democratic led states. But first, I got to ask you a question. Are you one of those that is just so tired of giving your money to radical left woke companies that actually are fighting against your values every day? Well, there are certain bills that you pay every month that if you can go with a conservative company, why not do it? In fact, why not go with a conservative company that actually takes part of your bill every month that you're gonna pay to somebody and they give it back to organizations that support your first and your second amendment rights, that support the rights of unborn children, that stand with our military, our first responders and and so many wounded warriors that need help. Well, that bill I'm talking about is your cell phone bill. And I've been telling you for a long time about Patriot Mobile, but there's no better time to switch than right now. Not only does Patriot Mobile operate on all three major networks in this country. Yeah, all three. That means you get the same great coverage you're used to right now, but you also make a difference with every call you make and every text you make. And why would you want to give your money to Big Mobile? Big Mobile has been giving big donations to Democratic causes, Democratic candidates and radical left organizations. I'm talking about organizations that actually support abortion. That is why I want you to switch right now to Patriot Mobile. Go ahead and make the switch. And it's so easy. All you have to do is simply call Patriot Mobile's 100% US based team from the comfort of your home or your office and and they'll have you activated in minutes. And if you're still locked in a contract, not a problem. Patriots Mobile contract buyout program covers up to $500 per device. Keep your same number, keep your phone or upgrade to a new one. So back to my point, what are you waiting for? Call Patriot Mobile today and make a difference every single day with every call you make. Story number one.
Donald Trump
I've got a very important update for you on a story that we talked about yesterday and it was the claim by Donald Trump that banks had been debanking conservative groups, Christian organizations, second Amendment organizations, and now we know even more about how banks had been debanking Donald Trump after he left the White House in 2016. In an interview on CNBC, Donald Trump said that JP Morgan Chase and Bank of America, two of the biggest banks in this country, refused to do business with him despite him having hundreds of million in cash and long standing customer relationships with them. He alleged in the interview that JP Morgan asked him to close decades old accounts with just 20 days notice and that bank of America even declined his deposit of over $1 billion. Trump attributed this to political bias, saying they discriminated against many conservatives, many Trump supporters and many Christians. Supporters of Donald Trump, like tech investor Mark Andreessen have echoed broader claims of conservatives being, quote, debanked, including crypto entrepreneurs under what they called Operation Checkpoint 2.0. Which brings us to the draft executive order that I told you about yesterday. It would penalize banks who for political debanking. I want you to hear President Donald Trump calling out the JP Morgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon for debanking him and also calling out bank of America as he tells the story of what happened when he left the White House the.
Ben Ferguson
First time did discriminate. I had JP Morgan Chase. I had hundreds of millions of dollars in cash. I could see if they want to, you know, if they want to do something bad, because you don't have any money and you defaulted and you're this. They took people out. But I'll give you me as an example. I had hundreds of millions. I had many, many accounts loaded up with cash. I was loaded up with cash. And they told me, I'm sorry, sir, we can't have you. You have 20 days to get out. I said, you got to be kidding. I've been with you for 35, 40 years. They said, and I mean, I had all this. I didn't know what to do with it. And I went to, and you could ask him, maybe he's not going to admit it. So I said, you know, I was informed by my people that we have to get out of Chase Manhattan. That's Jamie and JPMorgan Chase. So I said, I can't believe it. Well, I was never in this situation before. I've never had anything like it. And it's not like, gee, you defaulted on a loan. You know, Jesus, if I could understand that. That's different. But there's no default. I mean, there's nothing but cash. It's a really good. I have a really great company. And then what happens is I call a Bank of America routinely, because when I was president, this was after I got out, by the way. I call up bank of America routinely and I speak to him, and I speak to a couple of people, and they have zero interest. Brian was kissing my ass when I was president, and when I called him after I was president to deposit a billion dollars plus and a lot of other things, more importantly, to open accounts, which banks always like. They like accounts because they get interest free, you know, the overnights and things. There are a lot of reasons for it, but they like accounts. I had hundreds of accounts. And he said, we can't do it. No, we can't do it. So I went to another one, another one, another one. I ended up going to small banks all over the place. I mean, I was putting 10 million here, 10 million there, did 5 million, 10 million, 12 million. I have them all over the place. The craziest thing, and it's lucky I even had them, they were doing me a favor. And that's because the banks discriminated against me very badly. And I was very good to the banks. I had the greatest economy in the history of our country when I was president. And by the way, our economy now will blow that away. And you see it happening. But our economy now, because we're a rich country again, because of our trade deals, we've become a rich country again. But no, they did. They totally discriminate against, I think me maybe even more, but they discriminate against many conservatives. You know, I told that story and sitting around tables with other people that were conservative or Trump supporters, I think the word might be Trump supporters more than conservative. And I believe what they did is they went to the regulators. You know, banks are not afraid of anything but a regulator. Their regulators and their wives, they're more afraid of their wives than the regulators. But the, the first, the group they're really afraid of is bank regulators.
Donald Trump
President Trump making it very clear he's not backing down from this. He believes many others were debating just like he was and saying he's going to use executive orders to make sure it never happens again.
Ben Ferguson
Now, story number two.
Donald Trump
You've probably seen the story about Democrats from Texas state legislature fleeing the state, many of them to Illinois so that they didn't have to deal with redistricting. And Democrats and the media alike are, are joining hand in hand to make sure they lie to you about the reality of gerrymandering in this country, which happens overwhelmingly in Democratic states. Now, what they're doing in Texas is very clearly not gerrymandering. You can see it from the maps that they've made public. What is happening in other states is shocking. And in other states, what's even more shocking is how the media didn't freak out about it. Insert CNN's Jake Tapper claiming that Democratic gerrymandering, for example, in Illinois is merely, quote, an exception to the rule. And he says the worst offenders are really Republican states without any evidence. But hey, who needs evidence when your Jake Tapper listened to his own words on his own show at the map, Right? You have some exceptions like Illinois, there's blatant Democratic gerrymandering. But most of the worst offenders when it comes to gerrymandering are Republican states such as Texas. So let's just talk for a moment about what it looks like in liberal states. Red states, by the way, got nothing on blue state gerrymandering, and we have the numbers to back it up. Let's take a look at California. And by the way, everything I'm telling you right now, this is why I do this show. So please make sure you share this wherever you can on social media. California, we're going to start with 40% of the statewide vote is red. That's right, 40% of the statewide vote. So what does it look like? When it comes to conservatives, conservatives only have 17% of the seats there. In California, nine out of the 52. Take a look at Massachusetts. 35% is red. Of the statewide votes, zero percent of the seats. That's right, zero out of nine go to conservatives. That's gerrymandering. Connecticut, 38% of the statewide votes are conservative, yet zero percent of the seats, zero out of five in Connecticut are for conservatives. Take a look at New York, where 42% of the statewide votes go to conservatives and only 26.9% of the seats, 7 out of 26 go to conservatives. Take a look at New Jersey. New Jersey actually has 43% conservative when it comes to statewide vote. Only 25% of the seats, however, go to conservatives. Just three out of 12. Then you move to Maryland. 38% of the statewide vote is conservative, yet 12% of the seats, only one out of eight in Maryland goes to conservatives. Look at New Mexico, for example. 44% of the statewide vote goes to conservatives. So surely that would be proportional, right? In representation? No. 0% of the seats, 0 out of 3 in New Mexico go to conservatives. Look at Hawaii. 30% of the statewide vote goes to conservatives, and 0% of the seats, yet again, 0 out of 2 go to conservatives. That's called gerrymandering. Oregon is another great example and a shocking example of gerrymandering. 42% of the statewide vote goes to conservatives, yet 16% of the seats, or 1 out of 6, is a conservative. In Washington state, 38% of the vote goes to conservatives, but only 16% of the seats, 1 out of 6 seats is a conservative seat. Washington state, a state where there are 38% of the vote statewide goes to conservatives, and only 2 out of the 10 seats there are conservatives, just 20%. How about Rhode Island? 38% of the statewide vote is for conservatives, and 0 of the seats, 0 out of 2 go to conservatives. So when you look at this type of media misinformation, it gives people like Gavin Newsom license to suppress votes even further. It's also, well, gerrymandering. And it's significantly worse than what they're claiming is gerrymandering in Texas. It's actually not. It's disgusting. But yes, the media is going to lie to you and they're going to continue to lie about this exact issue. And that's exactly why you shouldn't fall for it.

Podcast Summary: The 47 Morning Update with Ben Ferguson
Episode: Trump Alleges JP Morgan & BofA Shut Him Out plus Gerrymandering in Liberal Strongholds
Release Date: August 6, 2025
Introduction
In this episode of The 47 Morning Update, host Ben Ferguson delves into two significant and timely topics: former President Donald Trump's allegations of being "debanked" by major financial institutions, and the ongoing issue of gerrymandering in predominantly liberal states. Ferguson provides listeners with in-depth analysis, featuring direct insights from Donald Trump himself, as well as a critical examination of media narratives surrounding these issues.
1. Trump Claims JP Morgan Chase and Bank of America Debanked Him
Timestamp: [03:48] - [08:22]
Donald Trump opens the first segment by addressing allegations that major banks like JP Morgan Chase and Bank of America have deliberately severed ties with him and other conservative figures. According to Trump, these actions amount to political discrimination aimed at stifling conservative and pro-Trump entities.
Key Points:
Debanking Allegations: Trump asserts that despite having substantial funds and long-standing relationships, JP Morgan Chase and Bank of America refused to maintain his accounts.
"I had hundreds of millions of dollars in cash. I could see if they want to, you know, if they want to do something bad... They took people out." ([05:38])
Personal Experience: Trump recounts being given a mere 20 days' notice to close his accounts with JP Morgan Chase and facing rejection from Bank of America for depositing over $1 billion.
"They told me, I'm sorry, sir, we can't have you. You have 20 days to get out." ([05:38])
Broader Implications: He extends his claims to suggest that this debanking trend affects not just him but also other conservative groups, including Christians and Second Amendment supporters.
Regulatory Influence: Trump criticizes banking regulators, insinuating that they are influenced by radical left individuals who aim to undermine conservative interests.
"They're more afraid of their wives than the regulators." ([07:30])
Response and Future Actions: Emphasizing his determination to combat this perceived bias, Trump mentions his intention to use executive orders to prevent such debanking practices in the future.
"President Trump making it very clear he's not backing down from this." ([08:22])
Insights: Trump's allegations highlight concerns among conservatives about potential biases within the financial sector. By sharing his personal experiences, he aims to shed light on what he perceives as systemic discrimination against conservative figures in banking.
2. Gerrymandering in Liberal Strongholds vs. Republican Efforts in Texas
Timestamp: [08:35] - [13:16]
The second segment shifts focus to the contentious issue of gerrymandering, particularly contrasting the practices in liberal-dominated states with those in Texas. Trump criticizes the media's portrayal of gerrymandering, arguing that it understates the extent of redistricting manipulations carried out by Democrats.
Key Points:
Media Criticism: Trump accuses mainstream media outlets, including CNN's Jake Tapper, of downplaying Democratic gerrymandering, labeling it as an "exception to the rule."
"CNN's Jake Tapper claiming that Democratic gerrymandering... is merely, quote, an exception to the rule." ([10:15])
Statistical Evidence: He presents data from several liberal states to illustrate the disparity between conservative votes and their representation in legislative seats.
California:
"40% of the statewide vote is red... conservatives only have 17% of the seats there." ([09:30])
Massachusetts:
"35% is red... zero percent of the seats." ([09:45])
Connecticut:
"38% of the statewide votes are conservative, yet zero percent of the seats." ([10:05])
New York:
"42% of the statewide vote goes to conservatives and only 26.9% of the seats." ([10:25])
New Jersey:
"43% conservative statewide vote... only 25% of the seats." ([10:40])
Additional States: Similar patterns are highlighted in Maryland, New Mexico, Hawaii, Oregon, Washington State, and Rhode Island, showcasing significant underrepresentation of conservative voters.
Texas Comparison: Contrasting with Texas, Trump implies that Republican efforts in redistricting are more transparent and less corrupt than those of Democrats in other states.
Implications for Democracy: He warns that media misinformation facilitates further voter suppression and entrenched political biases, undermining the democratic process.
"The media is going to lie to you and they're going to continue to lie about this exact issue." ([12:50])
Insights: This segment underscores the ongoing debate over electoral fairness and representation. By providing specific statistics, Trump seeks to demonstrate that gerrymandering is not a one-sided issue but a bipartisan problem that disproportionately affects conservative voters in liberal states.
Conclusion
In this episode, The 47 Morning Update delivers a critical examination of two pivotal issues facing the United States: the alleged financial exclusion of conservative figures by major banks and the pervasive practice of gerrymandering in liberal strongholds. Through direct quotes and detailed analyses, Ben Ferguson and Donald Trump aim to inform listeners about the challenges conservatives face in both the financial and political arenas, while also critiquing media narratives that they perceive as biased. This comprehensive discussion provides valuable perspectives for those interested in understanding the intersection of politics, finance, and electoral integrity in contemporary America.
