Donald Trump
So now the work begins. We won. We won. The golden age of America begins right now. I will very simply put America first. But as you see today, here I am. The American people have spoken.
Ben Ferguson
You're listening to the 47 Morning Update with Ben Ferguson. It is official Donald Trump is the 47th president of the United States of America. Ben Ferguson with you. And we've got a lot to talk about on the show today. First up, Donald Trump moved into the White House firing on all cylinders with executive orders galore and the media is melting down. Also, Joe Biden decided to pardon virtually his entire family, including spouses. The big guy made sure he had a get out of jail free card for all of the Biden crime family sins. And finally, Donald Trump issued more than 1,500 pardons for what he described as the January 6th hostages. It's the 47 Morning Update and starts right now. Story number one, let the celebration begin. President Donald Trump hasn't even been in office for 24 hours, and yet he's already been more open, honest and transparent than Biden was in the last four years. And this time, Donald Trump knows exactly what to do when you walk in the White House, and that is executive orders. One of the biggest ones was Donald Trump doing this.
Media Representative
This is a proclamation declaring a national emergency at the southern border of the United States.
Donald Trump
That's a big one.
Ben Ferguson
Donald Trump making it clear he was paying off on that campaign promise to secure the southern border. That is not all that he did when it comes to the southern border. He also made it very clear that it's time for us to declare that the cartels are. Are a terrorist organization. That was another part of the executive action at the White House just hours after he was sworn into office. What does that mean? It means the U. S. Military is about to start hunting down cartel members and going to war with them. Donald Trump wasn't just talking about the border through executive action either. One other thing Donald Trump did was to pull America out of the World Health Organization. And he explained exactly why.
Media Representative
From the World Health Organization.
Donald Trump
Oh, that's a big one. So we paid $500 million to World Health when I was here and I terminated it. China with 1.4 billion people. We have 350.
Ben Ferguson
We have.
Donald Trump
Nobody knows what we have because so many people came in illegally. But let's say we have 325. They had 1.4 billion. They were paying 39 million. We were paying 500 million. Seemed a little unfair to me. So that wasn't a reason. But I Dropped out. They offered me to come back for 39 million. In theory, it should be less than that, but, you know, and when Biden came back, they came back for 500 million. He knew that you could have come back for 39 million. They wanted us back so badly. So we'll see what happens. Pretty sad, though.
Ben Ferguson
Think of it.
Donald Trump
China pays 39 million and we pay 500 million, and China's a bigger country.
Ben Ferguson
Donald Trump also did something to protect our free speech in this country. Signing a directive for the government to restore freedom of speech and stop government censorship of all speech. Just because you don't like somebody else's opinion doesn't mean you get to silence it from a government office was clearly the statement that was made by the President of the United States of America. When you look at all of the actions that were taken by Donald Trump Day one, well, you shouldn't be disappointed at all. Revisions of 78 Biden era executive orders regulatory regulation freeze. So we have the government getting out of our lives and the private sector. Also a freeze on all federal hiring and all federal workers must return to the office. That's right. No more free rides. When Donald Trump is president, there also is a cost of living crisis that he has declared and he wants to get things back to the way they were when he was the president, which is good for all Americans, the poor, the middle class and those that are wealthy. He also made it clear that we are withdrawing from the Paris Climate Accord, saying goodbye to the ridiculousness of the extreme green New Deal religion. And a letter to the UN on withdrawal as well. Freedom of speech and no censorship. That was the main mess coming out of the White House and the President of the United States of America. And if you want even a bigger theme, the president made it clear his ultimate goal is to end the weaponization of government. Now, story number two, forever and ever. Joe Biden should be remembered for the very last thing he did in office. That was pardon the Biden crime family. Not just his direct family members, but also their spouses. In other words, if you were getting checks from the big guy and Hunter Biden and James Biden and the money was flowing to all the family members, you got a get out of jail free card from the big guy. So let's take you back in time. You may remember in 2020, there was a conversation about Donald Trump pardoning some of his family members. It was another one of the fake news stories that the media obsessed over, implying that Donald Trump was some sort of, you know, criminal. Well, you want to know what the media said about preemptive pardons back then and elected officials like Adam Shift. Well, take a listen, because we've got a montage for you just to remind you of the hypocrisy of the left and the media.
Media Representative
Ever heard of somebody getting a preemptive pardon who was innocent of all crime, who's just an innocent person? Have you ever heard of that? Just somebody getting a blanket pardon, and they're an innocent person. But no, no, it's the President's own family. It's people that have been covering up for the President in addition to his own family. Is there an innocent explanation for someone to seek preemptive pardons for family members? Would you do that if you knew you were innocent and just worried about outside forces? The answer to that is going to be no. If you haven't done anything wrong, you sit there and go, what do you need a prison preemptive pardon for? If he pardons people preemptively, he's essentially telling the public that these people have committed crimes, and we may not be aware of what they are, but the pardon is clear evidence that crimes have been committed. I imagine if he decides to issue these preemptive pardons, it will be cast in a way that he is protecting his family and protecting their reputations from, you know, villainous exterior forces that are against him. First off, we should just take a deep breath and acknowledge audacity of a president who's so clearly concerned about his own criminal culpability and that of his family members, that pardons are a major obsession with him. The idea of a kind of prospective pardon, this sort of permanent federal get out of jail free card, that. That seems to be what we're talking about in the case of this right, with Giuliani and his three eldest children, who, as far as we know, don't have not been convicted of a crime. Maybe they've committed a lot and they don't want to face action. I don't know. It's weird. I wouldn't ask for a pardon. I don't think I deserve one because I don't think I've done anything criminal. But, like, where does that come from? That concept that you can just kind of wave your magic pardon wand? We have Tish James, we have Xavier Percera. Mimi Roca is literally my da in my town. There will be opportunities to prosecute these people, regardless if they. If they abuse the pardon power as they are thinking, hopefully, Elie, there will be a Skyfall on this entire crime family. And There will be another day for them to die. The president does indeed pardon, let's say, Rudy Giuliani or any members of his family. Would you see that? And I asked Peter this question as essentially an admission of guilt? I certainly would view it that way. I think millions of Americans would view it that way. If there was no belief in criminality, why would he think a pardon was necessary? CNN has learned President Biden will pardon his son, Hunter Biden.
Ben Ferguson
That's right. Not only did he pardon his son Hunter Biden, but he went on to pardon many other family members as he was walking out the door. All that you just heard from the media, notice that was all in response to the idea that there may be a pardon that never came, by the way, from Donald Trump in 2020. It was a fake news story. So what is the media saying today about Joe Bide? Well, there were a few brave souls in the liberal media. One of them, I'll give credit, was CNN's John King, where he said this on CNN, just unseemly.
Media Representative
If you're going to do it, have the courage to do it in the light of day and explain it to the American people. It's a stain on his legacy to do it like this.
Ben Ferguson
I love how they say it's a stain on his legacy. So just remember Joe Biden's legacy, the very last thing he did as President of the United States of America was nothing to help the American people, nothing for the American people. It was solely about protecting the Biden crime family. And if you just listen to the words I just played for you, remember how much the media lied to you in 2020 and how much they're going to lie to you for the next four years about Donald Trump. They covered for Joe Biden each and every day when they knew the Biden crime family was on the take. And that is something we should never forget. And lastly, story number three. It's very clear. Donald Trump walked in the Oval Office knowing exactly what his objective was. It is to save America and make America great again. But one of the perks has to be that, you know, there's certain things that you're going to do that is going to make the left and the media absolutely lose their minds. That's got to be one of the fun parts about coming back to the Oval Office. Well, Donald Trump did it again. When he decided to issue more than 1,500 pardons for January 6th defendants, he referred to them as hostages, saying, we are going to release our great hostages. The moment was caught on tape and the media lost their minds. So what did Donald Trump actually say instead of what they're gonna tell you they want you to believe when it comes to their propaganda? Take a listen.
Donald Trump
So this is January 6th. These are the hostages. Approximately 1500 for a pardon. Full pardon. Full pardon. We have about six commutations in there where we're doing further research. Nice to see you again. So this is a big one. Anything you want to explain about this? We hope they get them. We hope they come out tonight. Frankly, they're expecting it. Approximately 1,500 people. Six commutations.
Media Representative
Were there any cases you did not?
Donald Trump
We're looking at different things, but the commutations would be the ones that we'll take a look and maybe it'll stay that way or it'll go to get a full pardon.
Media Representative
And the order does require the Bureau of Prisons to act immediately on receipt of the pardons and commutation orders. Sir, this is a.
Donald Trump
Why don't we get that down so they can get them going right now?
Media Representative
Yes, sir.
Donald Trump
Okay.
Ben Ferguson
I love how he sends that executive order out of the room and says, why don't we go ahead and send this one? Why did he do that? Because he knew as soon as that was sent, then the people that he says were being held hostage by our US Government, many of them that received sentences that were far longer than actual murderers and rapists in this country, would then be let out of jail. It is incredible to watch on social media how many people were posting about their loved ones who are finally free after being attacked by the Biden administration and the corrupt doj. Now, obviously there are going to be many that are going to say, well, Donald Trump overstepped. He shouldn't have done this. Well, as the newly sworn in 47th President of the United States of America, you can sign a document. And he did commute 14 prison sentences issuing, quote, a full and complete and unconditional pardon to all other individuals convicted of offenses related to events that occurred at or near the United States Capitol on January 6, 2021. What is also interesting about what Donald Trump just did is this. None of these pardons were for anybody with a last name Donald Trump. So the media may throw stones, but just remember, Donald Trump came back in the White House to help people that were persecuted by Joe Biden. And Joe Biden left the White House giving out pardons to his Biden crime family members. Thank you for listening to the 47 Morning Update with Ben Ferguson.
