I let him know. I said, look, if you don't adhere to the agreement, I don't want to do that, but we're going to bomb the hell out of you. And I don't think that they're going to veer from the agreement. What else am I going to do? Am I going to say I'm going to take you to court? Let me take you to court. Let me just. Let me sue you. No, we're going to bomb the hell out of them. If they violate the agreement, I don't want them to. I want them to honor the agreement.

And it starts right now.
Ben Ferguson
Story number one, it is pretty clear
Joe Getty
that there is a real war happening right now in the Republican Party. This over the Iran deal. Many conservatives coming out saying that this deal is not what they want and talking about why they believe there are flaws in the deal. And it's obvious that Donald Trump is going to have to do some serious convincing when he gets back to Washington, D.C. from the G7, sitting down with key Republicans in the Senate explaining him why this deal is something that they should be excited about. Now, the president speaking at the G7 about the deal, laid out his points for why he says this deal is, in fact, a good deal. Take a listen.
Donald Trump
On Sunday, we reached an agreement with Iran that achieves everything we set out to accomplish, everything and much more. Ending the current conflict, reopening the Strait of Hormuz and preventing Iran from ever obtaining a nuclear weapon. That's what it was all about. That was about 99%. Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon. They can't develop it, buy it. They can never have a nuclear weapon. At the same time with this announcement, or close to it, as people started to think it was going to happen when Iran was making some very positive statements, the stock market has surged to record highs, picking up thousands of points over the last short period of time. Thousands of points. And oil is dropping like it has never dropped before at levels it went in numbers, down $7, down $8. They've never seen anything like that. But if we didn't do this deal, we could have dropped more bombs for another three weeks, two weeks, four weeks, two years. You would never have the hormones straight open. You would never have success. Your market would have, instead of going up at levels that nobody's ever seen before, would go down at levels that nobody ever saw before, maybe except for 1929 or what. And you know, all the tough guys, tough guys don't realize that this wasn't a three month deal. This was years in the making. You know why? Because I was the one that killed General Soleimani. And if I didn't kill General Soleimani, we probably wouldn't be talking right now about this deal because he was a mad genius. They never were able to replace him. But a lot of people forget that the tough guys, you know, the tough guys that would drive the country right down the tubes. The past two days have provided a chance to discuss the details of this historic agreement with many of our closest friends and allies, including the G7 nations and many presidents and prime ministers. As you saw, Prime Minister Modi was here. We had a long talk, he's a great guy. They are thrilled that we made a deal, every one of them. There's not one nation that came to us and said, please sir, keep dropping bombs on them, please keep dropping bombs. The stupid people say that, but I'm thrilled to report. And by the way, those last two days were brutal. $200 million worth of bombs. And you know, it is expensive too, by the way, aside from everything else. And they knew I was coming for a third night. We informed them we're coming for a third night. They, they didn't have their navy, it sunk. They didn't have their air force, it's gone. Not one plane. They didn't have anti aircraft equipment. So we got free reign. They didn't have their leaders, but they have a new group of leaders that I think is actually, I think they're smarter. I think they're very smart. I think they're far less radicalized. And I think they're, I think they're really good. They love their country. You know, you talk about regime change, nobody will say that, but I guess that's. Look, their one set of leaders is all gone. Their second set of leaders is all gone. Their third set of leaders a little bit gone, but for the most part, and frankly I think that's regime change. I think they're going to behave much differently. I think they see a different way of life that they were never exposed to.
Joe Getty
Now it's clear there that the President is making his case not just to America, but also the rest of the world at the G7, saying that this agreement is a major foreign policy breakthrough. The President says it delivers on the core promise he made from the beginning. Iran will not have a nuclear weapon. In fact, Trump said that point is written clearly into the memorandum and, and that it will be backed by what he described as strong inspection and enforcement mechanism. Now, to be clear, there are many conservatives are very worried about this deal. Many are criticizing the vice President for being the man in charge of getting this deal together. And the President is also pointing to what he says is a victory, the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz as another victory. There are many that are saying, yeah, but you let Iran be in charge of that strait moving forward. And that is concerning. Now, that is one of the most important shipping lanes on Earth. It carries a huge percentage of the world's energy supply. And Trump says getting ships moving freely is incredibly important and it will reduce the threat of global energy crisis and also help push oil and gas prices lower in the short term. Now, that's something American families can directly feel at the pump. And the oil markets have reacted positively as they are now saying that they believe the waterway will remain. Now, Trump is also emphasizing something else. He believes this is a perfect example of how peace through strength works. He says that he was able to get them to the table and leverage the military and economic conditions to his advantage. Now, Trump also warned that this is not a blank check. If Iran violates the terms or fails to comply, he says America has the ability to return to military action. At the G7, he put it very simply, if he doesn't like what Iran does, we will go back to shooting. Now, the broader framework also lays out a 60 day period to negotiate a final settlement. It includes a ceasefire, commitments related to Iran's nuclear activities under international monitoring, the reopening of maritime traffic through the strait, and discussions over sanctions relief and access to frozen Iranian funds that are tied to the implementation of the agreement. Something else that many are fighting over in Washington right now. Now, it's important to understand that supporters see this as a historic opportunity. A deal that could prevent a nuclear ran and stop a wider Middle Eastern war. It also stabilize the energy markets and bring down the costs for consumers. But many critics in the Republican Party are arguing that some of these provisions involving sanctions relief and Iran financial assets being reopened to them, as well as regional security commitments, could actually give Tehran too much in return before all of its obligations are fulfilled. And the debate, it's not over. The debate, however, is over those provisions. And it's going to dominate Washington in the coming days. But from Trump's perspective at the G7, the message was crystal clear. Trump believes this is a deal that ends a dangerous conflict. It protects American interests It keeps Iran from getting the bomb and it delivers economic relief around the world.

Next story number two, there is a
Joe Getty
very good chance that the front runner for the Democratic Party for the presidency in 2028 may not even be on the ballot. Why? Well, Gavin Newsom and the investigation into him and his wife are a big story that the Democrats and the media aren't talking about, but we are. What's even more shocking is the fact that there was a massive plea deal that involved his very close friend and former chief of staff. Yeah, it is one of the biggest political stories that could have a massive impact on 2028. And Newsom is now saying this is all, well, warfare that just Donald Trump going after him and his wife because he doesn't like them. There's just one problem with that narrative. This investigation happened before the Trump administration was in and it was not from Washington, D.C. it originated in liberal California. Here's some more details from FOX News about this investigation is familiar.
Fox News Reporter
Tell Fox News that the investigation will has actually been ongoing since 2025 and that the probe is based on whistleblower complaints related to Newsom and his wife's personal finances. Now, the case is apparently being handled by the U.S. attorney's office in Sacramento. And as you pointed out, the governor remains defiant, saying today that the president is, quote, coming after my wife, Jen.
Gavin Newsom
In recent days, federal agents have knocked on the doors of family, friends and former employees not because they found a crime, because they're simply trying to find one. They're demanding records. They're abusing the grand jury process, digging through years and years of random documents. So let me say it again, Mr. President, come after me. I'm not going anywhere. And the country is watching.
Fox News Reporter
Governor also claims the investigation is intended to undermine any potential White House bid in the future. Now, as for his wife, Jennifer, she's a documentary filmmaker who runs the Representation Project. It's a nonprofit and it seeks to advance feminism through media production. However, that charity has attracted pay for play allegations with critics claiming that what essentially is happening over in the Golden State is corporations with business interests in California donate to the organization in an effort to gain influence over Newsom. Now, you may be wondering, what about the doj? Well, they did not respond to a request or comment with respect to any potential investigation.
Joe Getty
Well, now, to be clear, what you just heard there is this had nothing to do with Donald Trump. This investigation started before Donald Trump was even back in office. And it came from whistleblowers within his own government. So Gavin Newsom can cry all he wants that. Trump is targeting me and my wife while conveniently forgetting one massive detail. The federal investigation into his shady finances. And Jennifer's non profit pay to play scheme began before Trump was in office. Yes, this all began the investigation under the Biden administration. And it was people around him, whistleblowers from his own inner circle, that blew the whistle on the corruption. That's right. His own team saw the corruption and just couldn't take it anymore, couldn't stay silent. Now the Sacramento U.S. attorney's office is handling all this, which also points back to the point about his lie in his press conference. No, Gavin Newsom is not being politically prosecuted. This is actually accountability finally catching up to California's most corrupt power couple, the first lady and the governor of the state. The walls clearly seem to be closing in on Gavin. And it looks like there's a good chance now that not only is Gavin Newsom exposed, but maybe all the corruption around him and his wife and his former chief of staff has even taken a plea deal, pleading guilty to federal charges. And that apparently may be his biggest liability. Not Donald Trump, but his own friends.
