And now what they do, the radical left, they actually have people and it's hard to get them. They're all paid people. Most of these people are paid. You know, they're paid when they have brand new beautiful printed signs by like the highest quality printer. And you have a woman, Free Maduro. And the sign is before we even did the attack, you know, free Maduro.

Good Wednesday morning. It's nice to have you with us on the 47 Morning Update. And we've got two major stories for you. First up, President Donald Trump comes out and says we're getting a lot of oil From Venezuela, between 30 to 50 million barrels of oil. This could have huge implications for Venezuela's economy as well as the US I'll explain that to you in just a moment. Also, new warnings for Cuba at this hour coming from the Trump administration. Is there a very good chance that Cuba and the dictators there could be in serious trouble? And is it even spreading? After seeing Maduro leave Venezuela in an American custody, is it inspiring people in Iran to stand up to their regime? That's exactly what seems to be happening. I have the details for you, but before we get to that, I want to tell you about our good friends at Patriot Mobile.

It's the 47 Morning Update and it starts right now. Story number one, Donald Trump has made.
Patriot Mobile Advertiser
A major announcement about Venezuela.
Ben Ferguson
And as a taxpayer, you should be very excited about what I'm about to tell you. He said that Venezuela will turn over 30 to 50 million barrels of oil to the United States of America. Donald Trump announcing that the interim authorities in charge of Venezuela would be giving us between 30 to 50 million barrels of high quality sanctioned oil to the United States. In a post on Truth Social, Trump explained that the oil would be sold at its market price and that Trump would ensure the money would from the sales will be used to benefit the people of VENEZUELA and the U.S. saying, quote, I'm pleased to announce that the interim authorities in Venezuela will be turning over between 30 to 50 million barrels of high quality sanctioned oil to the United States. This oil will be sold at its market price and the money will be controlled by me as President of the United States of America to ensure it is used to benefit not only the people of Venezuela, but which means you and I as taxpayers do not have to worry about paying for Venezuela like we did in Afghanistan and Iraq. He also went on to say this. I have asked the Energy Secretary, Chris Wright, to execute this plan immediately. It will be taken by storage ships and brought directly to unloading docks in the United States of America. Now, after Venezuela's socialist dictator Maduro and his wife Flores were captured by US Military forces, Trump stated that the US Will run everything regarding Venezuela's oil reserves. It also has been reported that Venezuela, as of Saturday's oil price, has approximately 17.3 trillion in oil reserves, which exceeds the collective global gross domestic product, excluding the United States of America and China. To put it in perspective, this obviously is a major step forward for the President and also to getting Venezuela back on its feet and the people there that have been oppressed by the communist regime for far too long. What they need economic stability? What is next for the Western Hemisphere? That is a question that Donald Trump is answering in real time through his actions instead of his words. With Maduro's capture, there are now real speculation among those in Washington that this could be the beginning of the end for Places like Cuba's dictators, the regime there, the House Intelligence Committee chairman going on Fox News Channel to talk about exactly what could be next. And I want you to listen carefully to what he had to say about the president also talking about Cuba.

So this will obviously have a lot of a domino effect in the neighborhood down there. President Trump and Secretary Rubio talked about the possibilities for Cuba. Let's play this clip real quick.
Conservative Commentator
Cuba is going to be something we'll end up talking about because Cuba is a failing nation right now, very badly failing nation. And we want to help the people. It's very similar in the sense that we want to help the people in Cuba.
Political Analyst
When the president speaks, you should take him seriously. Suffice it to say, you know, Cuba is a disaster. It's run by incompetent, senile men. If I lived in Havana and I was in the government, I'd be concerned.
News Anchor
What is Cuba thinking right now?
Rick Scott
We're going to see freedom and liberty in Cuba. I mean, Cuba is a failed state. The people of Cuba do not like Diaz Canal. They don't like their government. It's all propped up with the oil from Venezuela. So Cuba has been the root of evil. So if you look at this is an unbelievable opportunity. When Trump finishes this term, I think all across Latin America, we're going to see freedom and liberty. We're going to have a new president in Colombia next year. And I think the right thing will happen there. I think Diaz Canelo will be gone. So, look, I'm excited for all my friends that have fought all these years for freedom and liberty. And they have not been able to get a president that would show up and do the job that needed to be done. And this president has been willing to do it. So hats off to Donald Trump, Senator.
Ben Ferguson
Rick Scott and what he had to say there, he's absolutely right. And it brings me the top lawmaker of the House Intelligence Committee also saying that he believes that the weekend capture of Maduro may have a major domino effect in Cuba. Chairman Rick Crawford, a Republican from Arkansas, called it the beginning of the end for the regime. Cuba and Venezuela have had a symbolic relationship for a long, long time. The congressman said Cuba needs Venezuelan oil. They no longer have the resources that will be provided by Venezuela. And that means there are major consequences. According to Crawford, Venezuela also benefited from the partnership by receiving medical assistance from Cuba and military protections used by Maduro. President of Cuba Manuel Diaz is a one party communist state that has been long at odds with the United States of America and the US has an economic embargo on the country, restricting exports to and from Cuba, as well as travel restrictions that limit tourism. Those measures have been in place now for 63 years. You go back to February of 1962, when President JFK proclaimed an embargo on trade between the United States and Cuba and directed the Department of Commerce and the treasury to implement the embargo, which literally remains in place today. The State Department sang that on its own website. Which brings us to the bigger question that Crawford brought up. He said, quote, you may very well see a very popular uprising there. There's a lot of connective tissue. We have really, for a lack of a better term, we have a familiar bond with Cuba. We have so many families in South Florida that are directly connected to family members in Cuba that remittances are a big part of their economy. They rely on the United States of America. Whether they want to admit it or not. We can play an outsized role there in influencing those folks and helping them to organize, to rise up and help overcome the oppressive. To help overcome that oppressive regime. Now, Congressman Crawford isn't the only one talking about how there could be a major domino effect when it comes to Venezuela. And now in other parts of Latin America. The White House saying they believe that this could certainly move us in the right direction and inspire others to stand up to the regimes, whether it's Colombia or Cuba. There are several other countries now where there's real problems on the ground for the dictators, including even Iran, which makes this part of the conversation even more interesting. We're now hearing a new chant coming out of Iran. Usually you hear the chant of Death to America. Right now, the protests are continuing across Iran. And now the protests are calling for, quote, death to the dictator, not to America. The protests against the Iranian regime has now spread to most of Iran's 31 provinces as of Tuesday, including cities that have long been seen as fast firmly loyal to the Ayatollah. The current movement is arguably larger than the Women Life and Freedom uprising that really shook the regime to its core in 2022. And today's demonstrations are now showing no sign of backing down in the face of the brutal repression. The BBC cited video confirming massive protests in 17 provinces, plus reports of demonstrations and 11 more. Verified video footage of anti government demonstrations was posted from over 50 Iranian towns and cities, including the holy cities as well, which have previously been strongholds for the theocracy. Outside analysts said the surprising size and the persistence of the protests in the regime's political fortress cities was a sign that even the Ayatollah's hardcore supporters are abandoning him in the face of rank incompetence and, most importantly, massive economic collapse. The regime seems reluctant to indulge in the kind of bloody crackdown that snuffed out the Women, Life and Freedom movement, the protests after Iran's humiliating defeat by Israel and the United States in the summer of 2025, as well as the uprising after the rigged elections in 09. The Iranian regime is also attempting a difficult political balancing act by separating demonstrators with legitimate grievances from the rioters who are supposedly acting on behalf of the United States and European powers. They claim an all out bloodbath would make it very difficult for the regime to pretend it has sympathies and concerns for the Iranian people. Which now brings us to the President's promise. If Iran does go after the protesters, then America will step up and that seems to be giving cover for freedom for the people of Iran to actually rise up against another regime.
