The iPhone 16 is officially on sale. You can go and purchase one now. And of course, all of the very excited and hyped Apple intelligence features. Which ones are going to be shipping, which ones are coming soon? Are they all there? What's going on with that? I'm going to be breaking down all of that on the podcast, explaining exactly what you get today with it and what you might get some point in the future, what countries are not being supported which might actually shock you and what languages are supported. Spoiler alert. Only English. This is insanity. All right, we're going to be breaking down everything going on with the new iPhone 16 and technically iPhone 15 is going to be getting some of this platform as well and Apple intelligence. And if you are interested in using AI to make money for different side hustles or for growing your business that you currently have, I would love to have you join my AI Hustle school community. This is something that I host, a school community that I host with my, the host of my AI Hustle podcast where we break down different AI side hustles, how to use AI to essentially make money. And we have a school community. Normally it's a hundred dollars a month, but we, this week it is $19, $19 a month. You can get in, lock in the price now we'll never raise it on you. And we break down every single week. We create exclusive pieces of content that we don't share anywhere else. And we explain exactly how we are making money with AI. How I made $12,000 from working with Amazon in a specific project and tons and that you can do as well, and tons of other different side hustles, different ways to make money and different ways to grow your businesses with AI. So if you have a business or a career and you want to make money with AI, I would love to have you in the community. Now let's get into the juicy details about Apple Intelligence. Now the first thing I want to say is this is sort of a tricky situation for Apple right now. Tim Cook, their CEO, said that it's going to be quote, the first iPhone built for Apple intelligence. What's interesting is like the four thing there because I guess the iPhone 15 also can do it. So what's interesting to me is like a lot of the hype or reason to buy like an iPhone 16 is like, well, you know, they had to like kind of slow roll AI because they had to build the hardware. And so like the iPhone 16 has like the powerful enough hardware and chips to like run AI locally on your device. But technically, the iPhone 15 they said, is also going to be able to do that, the iPhone 15 Pro and Max. So technically older models of iPhone already are going to be able to do it. So it's not like it's 16 exclusively. Which also means like people with those phones might not actually upgrade to the 16 because otherwise it doesn't seem like there's as many differences. So anyways, Apple's in a bit of a tricky situation. Typically they like to say they're going to be slow rolling it to do something the best, but in this case it's kind of hard because a lot of the AI features that they are kind of touting coming out aren't even going to be available yet and other people are already starting to do them. So this is tricky. In any case, there are some really cool features and there are some really cool tools and I want to break down what is actually going to be available. Now the first one is writing tools. So they have a bunch of different AI powered features that essentially are going to proofread your texts. They'll be able to summarize it, they'll be able to change the tone to be more professional or concise or friendly or whatever that's kind of useful. And like a lot of this stuff, regardless of if ChatGPT would be capable of doing it, a lot of this stuff is really nice to have this built into the ui. It's a lot faster. Do you want to copy and paste your text into ChatGPT, ask it to fix something, copy and paste it, paste it back in, send it, or do you want to just have a button that immediately does it right in your messaging app? Right. So it speeds up the whole process. And so I do think that this is, this is awesome. Now this is going to be available in October if you have iOS 8.1 and it's going to be on the 15 Pro Max. And of course the iPhone, any iPhone 16. So that's kind of cool. Again, you're not getting it today, it's coming in October, so hopefully that's awesome. Again, something else we're not getting till October is the new Siri. So obviously Siri is something that has, along with all the other voice assistants, I'm not going to drag Apple through Apple under the bus on this one. Google's and Amazon's Alexa, all of them, after as soon as ChatGPT came out, all of them seemed like incredibly dated, old and useless. So the new Siri is going to have a complete makeover using AI to help do A lot of stuff. It's going to be faster and there's going to be a button you just. Or you essentially can tap on the bottom of your screen to use it. And yeah, they're reinventing how Siri is going to have. How Siri is going to work. It's going to be able to do a lot of amazing stuff. Coming out in October again for the 15 Pro, Max and 16s. Okay. Image Cleanup and photos. This is pretty cool. Similar to what Google's doing or what they did with their magic eraser. So again, it's not like iPhones first, but this is a cool feature. You're. You're going to be able to remove any unwanted objects from images. You're not going to have to go and export your images into Photoshop anymore and try to use the clone tool and scrape around to remove some unwanted person in the background of your perfect Eiffel Tower picture that just has people in the background. You're going to be able to do that all from the iPhone using AI. That is a phenomenal use case. I'm excited about that. And yeah, that one's a great one. I'm excited for that. So the other one is new. They're creating an entire new Photos app feature. So essentially it's going to have the ability to create new memories through prompts. They're gonna be using Apple Intelligence for that and Apple claims Apple Intelligence has more information about the contents of your images. So you're also gonna be able to go and search through all your images using AI. So it's like, hey, like, you know, you just be able to search like, hey, what's like the photo of me wearing like a red shirt from like six months ago. And then, you know, you can't find it, but it'll just pull up the image. So that's gonna be super nice. Just using natural language to search through your images. I would use that a million times specifically for anytime I've taken a picture of my driver's license or like, yeah, anyways, and. Or some sort of document and need to like get that to someone. And I'm like, when did I take that picture of it? Assuming I don't have like the document on me. So this would be awesome. Very, very useful. Again, we gotta wait till October, so not available today. That's fine. All right, just a month. Just a month. We can do this, everyone. Okay, notification summaries. Apple is going to summer summarize a bunch of different notifications coming from apps like mail Messages and even third party apps like WhatsApp. So instead of like just seeing like the first five sent words in like a message, it's going to give you a little summary of what's in that whole message. Like Chris wants to book a meeting with you for Tuesday at 4 and then you click on it and Chris is like, hey, what's up man? Hope you're having a great time, blah blah, blah, blah, blah. Come on. That's pretty useful to be able to just scan through all your notifications and see the summaries. I think that's going to be great. Again with mail specifically Apple Intelligence's mail app is going to show one line summaries of all your emails. So instead of having like, you know, we have like subject lines, but subject lines can be spammy and sometimes I don't know what the heck is in the email based off the subject line and sometimes I think people do that on purpose. So I'll click on their email and then I'm like ah, spam delete. Right. So this is going to essentially. You're swapping that subject line out for now. It's going to essentially tell you what's inside the actual email, which I think is amazing. This is really interesting. I wonder though if people will be. Again, this is coming out, possibly rolling out in October. Not guaranteed on that one. Also the notification summaries, also the new photos app. Yeah, all three of those are possibly coming in October so no guarantee on that. Those ones. So might have to wait a little bit longer. But everything before that I talked about was coming out next month. I mean allegedly. Right. We hope. Okay, so they have a new phone and notes updates that are coming out. Essentially they're just baking AI into every all their main in house Apple apps, which I think is cool. So the phone app is going to let you record and transcribe calls. This is amazing. Come on. How many times are you like on a phone call with some business associate learning something incredibly important and you're like geez, I need to like write this down somehow. Okay, well you'll be able to record the whole call and transcribe it. That is, that is an amazing feature I'm excited to do. I'm excited to use. Then you can use AI to essentially summarize your transcriptions and you can save them into the notes app. This is amazing. You have a conversation, it's really important. You record it, it gets summarized and gets added to a note of like the things you need to do from it. That's really cool. It's also available for voice notes that are recorded and saved in notes app too. So really cool. Hopefully coming out in October. Possible but not guaranteed. A couple other things features is image creation. Apparently you're gonna be able to create images and emojis. You're gonna be able to use Siri for personal context and in app actions. Right. So telling Siri, hey, go book me a flight for next Thursday to Mexico on Expedia and it's going to open the Expedia app and do that for you. That we don't know when that's coming, but this is allegedly coming soon. A bunch of different languages and platforms because right now only English currently supported as only English future support, apparently late this year they're going to support Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa and the UK and next year they're going to do Chinese, English in India, English in Singapore, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish and Vietnam. So next year not even. Yeah, I don't know, it's crazy to me. Currently it's only supporting US English, right? So not even Canada, Australia, New Zealand. They gotta wait till, they gotta wait till later this year. So anyways, to me that's crazy. Now the thing that might be the most mind blowing of all of this is what regions are and are not supported. Number one, China not supported. Okay, kind of a bummer for I guess people in China, but there's a lot of complex legal issues in China and we, you know, it's obviously a very different country. The other one that really shocked me was the European Union. The AI, the Apple intelligence features are not going to be supported in the European Union. That blows my mind. I wonder if, if you buy a phone in the US and then go back to eu, if it will, if it'll work. Because I've spent the last couple of months in France. I can imagine, like if I really started relying on a lot of these features helped me do a ton of stuff and it was baked into how I did everything and like it was just like geolocation, like as soon as you're in that country it won't let you access those features. That would be horrible. And I could see a lot of people just never going to the EU if they're like busy doing work because they're like, I use this Apple intelligence features to summarize so many calls and to record stuff and to you know, help me with all my emails and notifications and like do a bunch of stuff. And especially when they start doing the AI that can go and access third party apps it's like I use it to book all my calls and do all my stuff. Like how could I live without it? Right? I could see if, if, if it's GEO shut off then that would seriously I think negatively impact like travel to those countries. Now if it's not GEO shut off then I don't see why anyone that's really serious about it wouldn't just fly or just try to get like bootlegged or go on ebay or something and go buy USA phones and you probably have to go create a USA Apple account which might need a USA credit card. So okay, maybe not super easy, but there might be a way to go and actually get the phone and get the features as well and still use them in the eu. Not sure how that works. Honestly. I think the European Union with their AI regulation might have overdone it. So I, I mean I know that's, people will be mad at me for saying that maybe or it's controversial or something. But like honestly if you can't ship Apple intelligence, which Apple is like not a very fast AI company, they've been kind of slow to it and if you can't even ship those features, ugh, not, not looking good now. My, my one other interesting thought, you know, besides just trying to like pile on the EU over regulating AI and me not thinking that's cool, is if Apple had have been faster and had have come out with these features before the EU came up with their AI bill, that would be kind of interesting if they like front ran it and the AI bill. I think it'd be a different story if it was already in existence and the AI bill was like, okay, we're shutting down all Apple intelligence. Like I feel like they wouldn't do that or it would have a bigger uproar. So maybe Apple could have solved that problem by doing it earlier. But you know, it is what it is and it's now it didn't happen. So this is this current situation. In any case, this is fascinating time. I'm going to keep you up to date on everything that happens with Apple, how these things roll out, when these things roll out, I'll let you know so you can decide if you want to upgrade to a new phone, get it or if you're just like forget it, I'll get some of these cool features from Google that seems to be doing a lot of them.
